- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven or boy, the Mark Simoon Show starts now.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, first, the snow of the year. Not here Manhattan,
- 0:12Speaker 2: wouldn't dare snow here looks very nice out actually cloudy
- 0:15Speaker 2: but dry. But around the Tri State area you'll see
- 0:18Speaker 2: some snow here and there, and upstate, you know those
- 0:22Speaker 2: crazy people that live way up there. Way. I shouldn't
- 0:24Speaker 2: say that. We have people listening up there, but if
- 0:26Speaker 2: you live in Buffalo, I don't know how the hell
- 0:27Speaker 2: you do it with that two feet of snow every
- 0:29Speaker 2: two seconds. A lot to get to today. We'll get
- 0:33Speaker 2: to Kombi and Tis James, We'll get to Matt Lower,
- 0:36Speaker 2: We'll get to we'll get to the casinos. We'll get
- 0:40Speaker 2: to a plenty to talk about today. You're in a
- 0:44Speaker 2: very strange era. We've never seen anything like this before.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Been going on for ten years. It gets worse and
- 0:51Speaker 2: worse and worse. And it all started with Donald Trump
- 0:54Speaker 2: coming down that escalator, and for whatever reason, the fake
- 0:58Speaker 2: news decided they could just just take the gloves off
- 1:03Speaker 2: and really go after him. You know, the media was
- 1:05Speaker 2: always a little slanted. You go back and you watch
- 1:07Speaker 2: Dan rather years ago. It was slanted. Even our old
- 1:11Speaker 2: friend Walter Cronkite. But slanted meant you use a rougher
- 1:16Speaker 2: adjective when you were talking about the Republican than the Democrat.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It didn't mean you'd out and out just run fake news.
- 1:25Speaker 2: That started with well, actually, give Dan Rather credit. It
- 1:27Speaker 2: actually started with Bush. They made up that whole fake
- 1:30Speaker 2: thing about him going a wall and the National Guard
- 1:32Speaker 2: wasn't true. They made up that whole fake Haliburton scandal
- 1:36Speaker 2: with Dick Cheney. So that was the real beginning of
- 1:38Speaker 2: real fake news. But it was only done then when
- 1:42Speaker 2: they had it to it. You know, once or twice
- 1:45Speaker 2: every year they would come up with a fake news
- 1:47Speaker 2: story and push it. Now it's every day. They've decided,
- 1:52Speaker 2: in their crazy minds spit their trumped arrangement syndrome, that
- 1:55Speaker 2: they're justified in breaking all the rules, throwing away all rules,
- 2:00Speaker 2: all standards. There's no standards anymore. You know, once in
- 2:04Speaker 2: a while you'd get an anonymous source, a deep throat,
- 2:08Speaker 2: but the deep throat was like the number two guy
- 2:11Speaker 2: at the FBI who had access to all the information.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But now the anonymous sources anybody, So you get all
- 2:18Speaker 2: this fake news. You've been reading stories in the New
- 2:20Speaker 2: York Times for the last week about how Trump's health
- 2:23Speaker 2: is in real question. He is showing signs of fatigue,
- 2:27Speaker 2: He's unable to stay awake, he's unable to work, and
- 2:31Speaker 2: none of this is true. It's just total fake nonsense.
- 2:34Speaker 2: So instead of a deep throat source where it's the
- 2:37Speaker 2: number two guy at the FBI, who's right there in
- 2:40Speaker 2: the job, see and everything, what they do is they'll
- 2:43Speaker 2: talk to the New York Times reporter will call somebody
- 2:46Speaker 2: not at the White House, but somebody that was in
- 2:48Speaker 2: the Obama White House or the Biden White House and
- 2:52Speaker 2: obviously hates Trump, and they'll say, are you hearing what
- 2:56Speaker 2: I'm hearing about the fatigue the president not able to
- 2:59Speaker 2: do is job? And then they'll say, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 2: I've heard that. Now it's somebody who has absolutely no
- 3:04Speaker 2: direct knowledge of anything, but it's enough for the New
- 3:07Speaker 2: York Times reporter to put sources. I talk to, my
- 3:11Speaker 2: sources tell me that. So it's total nonsense. They're even
- 3:16Speaker 2: using the worst people in the world, the lowest people
- 3:20Speaker 2: on earth, Michael Wolf, people like that who've been printing
- 3:24Speaker 2: the most fake, false nonsense for years, but in their
- 3:31Speaker 2: crazy hatred of Trump, this deranged hatred of Trump. They
- 3:36Speaker 2: feel they're justified whatever they have to do to get
- 3:38Speaker 2: this guy. So you've seen all the New York Times
- 3:43Speaker 2: stories about how the fatigue is unbelievable. Trump is just
- 3:48Speaker 2: unable to work. It can't work very much. He's just
- 3:52Speaker 2: barely coming into the office. Well, they finally released the
- 3:55Speaker 2: actual White House logs, believe it or not, their logs,
- 3:57Speaker 2: Secret Service logs, white House logs that keep track of
- 4:00Speaker 2: where the president is and what he's doing. Twenty four
- 4:03Speaker 2: to seven. Well, the log show he's been working twelve
- 4:05Speaker 2: hour days in the Oval office, twelve hour days in
- 4:08Speaker 2: the Oval Office, and then when he's out of the
- 4:11Speaker 2: Oval office, if he's in the dining room of the residents,
- 4:14Speaker 2: he's making phone calls, texting. So he's just working NonStop,
- 4:19Speaker 2: day and night. Nobody's no president's ever kept up this
- 4:21Speaker 2: kind of schedule. So the New York Times stuff was
- 4:24Speaker 2: total nonsense. Even this media Heite, which everybody gets a
- 4:28Speaker 2: kick out of reading media Heite, but mediaite is the
- 4:34Speaker 2: most left wing slanted thing in the world. So they've
- 4:38Speaker 2: been started all week. Media It's been talking about how
- 4:41Speaker 2: how fatigued the president is. He can barely show up.
- 4:44Speaker 2: He can barely stay awake. Now, look at the media
- 4:47Speaker 2: Media Height headline from last night. Trump fires off over
- 4:51Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty truth social posts in frenetic late
- 4:54Speaker 2: night blitz. I thought he couldn't stay awake. I thought
- 4:58Speaker 2: he was dozing off. I mean sometimes I start posting
- 5:03Speaker 2: a lot. You know, one night, you have nothing to do,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you're posting tweeting. But have you ever done one hundred
- 5:07Speaker 2: and sixty in one night? From seven pm to nearly midnight?
- 5:12Speaker 2: The President reposted an endless stream of clips. Well, you
- 5:17Speaker 2: got to have a lot of energy to post one
- 5:21Speaker 2: hundred and sixty posts in a few hours. That's pretty
- 5:24Speaker 2: good on his part. So then remember the MRI, this
- 5:28Speaker 2: very suspicious MRI. The President went to Walter Reed for
- 5:32Speaker 2: the annual physical. You know, when you go to Walter
- 5:35Speaker 2: Reed and you're the president, you don't go to the
- 5:37Speaker 2: regular Walter Read hospital. They have a special presidential wing
- 5:42Speaker 2: just for the president. You got like four thousand doctors
- 5:44Speaker 2: standing there waiting to take care of you. So when
- 5:47Speaker 2: you get a physical, if a doctor wants to really
- 5:49Speaker 2: be thorough, I'll send you for a cat scan. He'll
- 5:51Speaker 2: send you for this test just to be sure, just
- 5:53Speaker 2: to be sure. But when it's Walter reed and you
- 5:57Speaker 2: got one hundred doctors standing there with nothing to do
- 5:59Speaker 2: but wait on you, I'll send you for everything. And
- 6:01Speaker 2: a cat scan ye all. At times, if you're older
- 6:04Speaker 2: and they want to check your heart, they'll do that
- 6:06Speaker 2: what do you call it? Echo cardiogram and then check
- 6:09Speaker 2: your arteries to see how your circulation is. You know
- 6:13Speaker 2: they do. You could do a cat scan, but if
- 6:15Speaker 2: you want to really be detailed, see even deeper, you
- 6:19Speaker 2: use an MRI. And that's what they did with the president. Apparently,
- 6:22Speaker 2: Well for two weeks now, the fake news is this MRI.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Why won't he release this MRI? What was in that MRI?
- 6:29Speaker 2: What did it show that he can't release it? Absolutely nothing?
- 6:31Speaker 2: They released it yesterday. Doctors explained that at his age,
- 6:36Speaker 2: he's seventy nine. Hey, also it's the president the United States.
- 6:39Speaker 2: You don't want to make a mistake. This could be
- 6:41Speaker 2: blockage or something that wouldn't show in the cat scan
- 6:44Speaker 2: but would show in the MRI. So they just just
- 6:48Speaker 2: to be safe, just preventative, just to be overly cautious.
- 6:51Speaker 2: They did an MRI. It showed absolutely nothing. They released
- 6:55Speaker 2: it every network has had their doctors look at it.
- 6:57Speaker 2: They said, he's fine, there's absolutely nothing in there. So again,
- 7:01Speaker 2: you're just going to be bombarded every day with fake scandals.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Now what they do is they launch a whole fake
- 7:06Speaker 2: attack on the president. They try it, they push it,
- 7:10Speaker 2: they push it, they push it. Then they democrats, poll it,
- 7:13Speaker 2: focus group it. If it's not working, they drop it.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You will notice that for the last week you have
- 7:20Speaker 2: never heard the name Jeffrey Epstein. You notice for a
- 7:23Speaker 2: week you haven't heard about Jeffrey Epstein. This is all
- 7:25Speaker 2: you heard about day and night from the fake news
- 7:27Speaker 2: for one week, they haven't mentioned them. Why is that, Well,
- 7:32Speaker 2: they focused scripted. It wasn't working, it wasn't registering. Nobody
- 7:35Speaker 2: cared about Jeffrey Epstein. Nobody thought that Donald Trump had
- 7:38Speaker 2: anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein. So you notice had
- 7:41Speaker 2: been no mention of it. They'll try it again, you know,
- 7:43Speaker 2: they always bring these things back and try them again.
- 7:46Speaker 2: So they've been trying this Mark Kelly thing, This awful
- 7:49Speaker 2: guy Mark Kelly, who uh is the one that came out.
- 7:53Speaker 2: If you get an illegal order, you can refuse it.
- 7:58Speaker 2: We'll have your back. If you get an illegal order.
- 8:01Speaker 2: There's no such thing as any illegal orders in the
- 8:03Speaker 2: Trump administration. There's never been a hint of this. Nobody's
- 8:06Speaker 2: ever even suggested there's illegal orders. But if you put
- 8:09Speaker 2: out these videos, it creates this atmosphere there's illegal orders.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It's as if it's as if you put out a
- 8:17Speaker 2: video all over the internet thing. If you've been sexually
- 8:20Speaker 2: assaulted by Mark Kelly, call the police immediately. Now there's
- 8:24Speaker 2: no hint that he's ever done such a thing. I
- 8:26Speaker 2: don't think he's ever done such a thing. Nobody suspects
- 8:30Speaker 2: he's done this. But if all of a sudden, you've
- 8:31Speaker 2: seen videos everywhere, if you've been sexually assaulted by Mark Kelly,
- 8:35Speaker 2: well you'd start to think, maybe there's something wrong with this.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So it's just a whole fake thing, and the fake
- 8:41Speaker 2: news is backing it up. Now they'll do it for
- 8:43Speaker 2: another couple of days, then they'll focus group, are tested.
- 8:46Speaker 2: If it's not registering, they'll get rid of it. And
- 8:50Speaker 2: this Mark Kelly, he's not a great looking guy. He
- 8:55Speaker 2: looks kind of annoying. He's not a very pleasant looking guy.
- 8:59Speaker 2: There was Talkahim as a vice presidential candidate for Kamala
- 9:02Speaker 2: Harris he was on that list, but he doesn't look
- 9:05Speaker 2: the part. Tim Waltz is not exactly George Clooney, but
- 9:10Speaker 2: he's a happy looking guy. He's a fun looking guy.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You look at him, you kind of smile until you
- 9:14Speaker 2: get to know him. But Mark Kelly just looks like
- 9:17Speaker 2: a nasty high school principal type of a guy. He
- 9:21Speaker 2: was an astronaut and he was in the military. Believe
- 9:25Speaker 2: or not, he was on our side, but he was
- 9:28Speaker 2: in the military, so that's good. He was in combat.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's impressive. And astronaut, that's impressive. Although he doesn't look
- 9:36Speaker 2: like Major Nelson on idriam Ajinie. He doesn't have any
- 9:39Speaker 2: charm to him. Even John Glenn was kind of a
- 9:42Speaker 2: it was a charming nice guy. Not Mark Kelly. But
- 9:46Speaker 2: he loves to bring up that military experience. He goes
- 9:48Speaker 2: after the illegal orders Venezuela Pete Hegzeth. They blew up
- 9:54Speaker 2: a drug cartel boat filled with drugs and then they
- 9:58Speaker 2: fired a second shot that killed VORs who were getting
- 10:01Speaker 2: off the boat. This is Kelly's big thing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: And you know somebody who has sunk two ships myself
- 10:06Speaker 1: that folks in the military.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That's that's like John Kerry used to do that. You know,
- 10:13Speaker 2: when all these people are on the panel debating a
- 10:15Speaker 2: military thing, what do they know. They're TV anchors, they're
- 10:19Speaker 2: talking heads. But when you can say, hey, when I
- 10:21Speaker 2: shot down a plane, when I did so, it's supposed
- 10:25Speaker 2: to impress you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You know, somebody who has sunk two ships?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Myself that uh, okay, it's good. I never sunk a ship,
- 10:35Speaker 2: but so that's pretty impressive. But it's somebody who has
- 10:39Speaker 2: sunk two ships. You know, if you were in the
- 10:40Speaker 2: war for all that time, it's not You're not exactly
- 10:43Speaker 2: General Patton. You're not exactly one of the great heroes
- 10:46Speaker 2: of our military who sunk two hundred ships. I sunk
- 10:50Speaker 2: two ships. It's more that's more like kind of Michael's
- 10:54Speaker 2: Navy kind of stuff.
- 10:54Speaker 1: But okay, folks in the military need to understand, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 1: the law to see the Geneva Conventions. If there were,
- 11:03Speaker 1: in fact, as reported, you know, survivors clinging to a
- 11:07Speaker 1: damaged vessel, that that could be you know, over a line.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I hope it's not the case.
- 11:15Speaker 2: He hopes, He really hopes it's not the case. This
- 11:17Speaker 2: guy is praying every night it's the case. He would
- 11:20Speaker 2: do anything for it to be. Now, the problem is
- 11:23Speaker 2: they're going to keep pushing this story about they blew up. Now,
- 11:26Speaker 2: first of all, everybody, normal people, like if there's a
- 11:29Speaker 2: drug cartel ship filled with fentanyl that it got blown up.
- 11:34Speaker 2: You ever watched Breaking Bad, the awful cartel people, those
- 11:38Speaker 2: disgusting people. You just wish a bomb would hit them
- 11:41Speaker 2: and kill them all, get rid of this cartel. But
- 11:44Speaker 2: that's what the president is doing, blowing up the cartel,
- 11:46Speaker 2: their ships, their drugs, the people in the cartel, just
- 11:49Speaker 2: blowing them up one by one. Remember, every time you
- 11:52Speaker 2: hit the ship, it's not just that you killed these people.
- 11:56Speaker 2: That ship probably had enough drugs on it, fentanyl, you know,
- 11:59Speaker 2: all that stuff probably worth fifty sixty seventy million dollars.
- 12:04Speaker 2: You're doing incredible economic damage every time you blow up
- 12:06Speaker 2: the ship. Now, when you blow up the ship, I
- 12:12Speaker 2: would assume if you got the okay to fly over
- 12:15Speaker 2: the ship, drop bombs and blow it up, it's assumed
- 12:18Speaker 2: you're killing everybody on the ship. If that's a little
- 12:22Speaker 2: ship and you've got these big aircraft dropping massive bombs.
- 12:25Speaker 2: You've seen the video right where they just blow the
- 12:27Speaker 2: whole thing out of the water. You could pretty much
- 12:29Speaker 2: assume you're gonna kill everybody on that ship. So I
- 12:34Speaker 2: think this is the problem they're going to have as
- 12:35Speaker 2: they try to push this story on people. Most people
- 12:38Speaker 2: like me are gonna say, well, the reason they were
- 12:41Speaker 2: there is to blow up the ship and kill everybody.
- 12:43Speaker 2: What's the difference if they fired a second shot. I
- 12:48Speaker 2: mean when they hit those Iran nuclear reactors, if you watch,
- 12:52Speaker 2: it wasn't one shot. They just kept bombing them for
- 12:54Speaker 2: like twenty minutes, just kept dropping bombs. You want to
- 12:56Speaker 2: make sure you got everything. So if you're there to
- 12:59Speaker 2: blow up the ship and kill everybody, I don't know,
- 13:02Speaker 2: what's the horrible thing that you fired a second shot?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Well you might have killed survivors. Well, they're not the
- 13:09Speaker 2: it's not the professor in Marianne that you're blowing up.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It's I mean, these are drug cartel guys. You're there
- 13:15Speaker 2: to kill them all. You're there to blow up the
- 13:16Speaker 2: ship and kill them all. If you got to fire
- 13:18Speaker 2: a second shot. All right. So they'll push this for
- 13:21Speaker 2: another week, they'll focus group a tested. If it's not
- 13:23Speaker 2: working out, they'll they'll drop it real fast. Hey, the
- 13:28Speaker 2: casinos got approved yesterday. There were three final casino bids,
- 13:32Speaker 2: and the casino board surprised people. They approved all three casinos.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Now when you hear casino, it sounds okay, but hey,
- 13:42Speaker 2: when you go look go online and look at the plans,
- 13:45Speaker 2: the drawings, the computer generated renderings, what they're going to
- 13:49Speaker 2: look like. They're quite spectacular. I mean really spectacular, like
- 13:53Speaker 2: Las Vegas quality facilities. Look at the one across from
- 13:57Speaker 2: City Field. It's pretty impressive. In fact, you know, people
- 14:01Speaker 2: are going to be look at it. What the hell
- 14:03Speaker 2: is this? How did this get in Queens? It looks
- 14:05Speaker 2: really amazing. The one in the Bronx where the Trump
- 14:10Speaker 2: golf course, that looks pretty impressive. The one at Aqueduct
- 14:14Speaker 2: Bear so it looks pretty good. Now here's the thing.
- 14:17Speaker 2: If you get approved to get a license, you have
- 14:21Speaker 2: to buy the license. You have to put up a fee.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So the fee for a casino license is five hundred million.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So they approved three of them. That's one point five
- 14:32Speaker 2: billion right there. That comes into the city one point
- 14:35Speaker 2: five billion in revenue first day. And then they go
- 14:40Speaker 2: ahead and they build these casinos, and the three casinos
- 14:43Speaker 2: will employ twenty three thousand people. That's a lot of jobs,
- 14:48Speaker 2: and one of the things is that right over the
- 14:51Speaker 2: throgs Neck Bridge and throgs Neck it's the golf course
- 14:53Speaker 2: that was a Trump golf course and now Bally's runs it.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Somewhere in the Trump contract. If they get rid of
- 15:01Speaker 2: it and make it a casino, Trump organization gets one
- 15:03Speaker 2: hundred and fifteen million. So they made one hundred and
- 15:06Speaker 2: fifteen million on the deal. But it's a pretty good deal.
- 15:10Speaker 2: And then these casinos are expected to generate over a
- 15:15Speaker 2: billion dollars in revenue every year, and maybe more than that,
- 15:18Speaker 2: maybe a lot more. So it's a good reason to
- 15:20Speaker 2: get rid of the congestion, pricing all that stuff. You'll notice, mom,
- 15:24Speaker 2: Donnie has not said a word about these three casinos
- 15:27Speaker 2: coming into his city. That's a good sign. That's a
- 15:31Speaker 2: good sign. You'd think a democratic socialist communist would hate
- 15:34Speaker 2: the idea of these big, splashy, flashy Steve Winn kind
- 15:38Speaker 2: of casinos all over the place. But he hasn't said
- 15:42Speaker 2: a word. So maybe, you know, sometimes these democratic socialists
- 15:48Speaker 2: like money, and they're a little more corrupt than anybody else.
- 15:51Speaker 2: They're a little more bribable, biable. So the fact that
- 15:53Speaker 2: he's kept quiet, that's a good sign. Yeah, that's one
- 15:56Speaker 2: thing about the Blasio bad as. The guy was if
- 16:00Speaker 2: you threw a lot of money around, he respected that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: You know, the business guys threw a lot of money
- 16:04Speaker 2: all over the place in his direction and he enjoyed
- 16:07Speaker 2: that and kept quiet about a lot of things. So
- 16:09Speaker 2: a good sign with mom, Donnie, and we've got a
- 16:11Speaker 2: lot to get to. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 16:14Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
