- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: The Democrats had been promising their base for months that they would stop the safe act cold.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: They claimed they have the votes that the filibuster was an impenetrable wall that Republicans were divided, disorganized, headed for humiliation on the Senate floor.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_03]: Well, this week, that Democrat wall is being tested like never before, and there were very clear signs that it's starting to crack.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_03]: And if it falls, it won't be just a legislative victory.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be one of the most consequential election integrity wins in American history.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_03]: Stick me the very end of this video because we're going to break down exactly how Republicans found the path
- 1:03[SPEAKER_03]: to passing this bill and why Democrat senators are all suddenly beginning to panic.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_03]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, you are a Patre professor here to help you make sense that the madness with breaking news and analysis, you're not going to get anywhere else.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_03]: So you know what to do, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_03]: Alright, so this is it, gang.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is the week that the Save Act comes up for a vote and every single Democrat who steps in front of that camera to block proof citizenship voting is handing Republicans a campaign
- 1:38[SPEAKER_03]: November the pressure's real.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: The House ultimatum is real.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_03]: Center Mike Lee says he's optimistic.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't use that word.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_03]: Optimistic and vain unless something has genuinely moved, which it has.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_03]: We'll find out in a moment.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_03]: But he's reporting the save act has turned a corner.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: Let's start with the basics here of what save America act actually does because legacy meetings doing everything they possibly can to muddy the waters on this one as they always do, right?
- 2:07[SPEAKER_03]: Always in favor of Democrats and to the disadvantage of Republicans.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_03]: But regardless, the bill bottom line requires proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_03]: It requires proof of citizenship to vote, to register to vote in federal elections.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_03]: And it requires states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls in mandates that federal forms, including the motor voter registration form used by the DMV, required documentary proof of citizenship.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_03]: So, the same ID requirements that you need to buy alcohol, or border plane, or open a bank account.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: So you have to have a real ID compliant driver's license of a US birth certificate, presented alongside a government issue photo ID, you have to have naturalization certificate, you have to have a US passport, whatever it is, it's got to be an official document.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: proving you are a citizen to vote in order to register to vote in a federal election.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_03]: Bottom line.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's the save and the very fact that that requirement is controversial.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: The very fact that that requirement may not pass the Senate tells you everything you need to know,
- 3:31[SPEAKER_03]: about how insane the Democrats are and how dysfunctional and broken the Senate has become and I should mention to it also makes it a federal crime to count ballots from non-citizens in federal elections so it holds election officers accountable as well.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: Simply put, the save act is one of the most popular pieces of legislation imaginable.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: 71% of Americans support this bill according to the latest Harvard cap's Harris poll.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: And this is after a three-month legacy media blitzkrieg to try to convince people, it's somehow controversial.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_03]: Even Chuck Schumer inadvertently handed Republicans the best sound bite in the entire debate.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_03]: When he warned that millions of voters would be removed from the roles that the bill were passed.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_03]: And the MAGA movement basically said, yes, Chuck, exactly.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's precisely the point.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_03]: The bill passed the house back on February 5th, sponsored by Rep. Chip Roy, Texas Representative, and it sailed through and a party-line vote.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Mike Johnson gets it done.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_03]: You've got to hand it to him.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_03]: But the Senate has been a different story.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_03]: Majority leader, John Thune, has been wrestling with a very real procedural problem.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: Republicans hold 53 seats.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: Democrats are unanimously opposed to, for the exception of John Federman, and you need 60 votes to break a filibuster.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: Thunes instinct was to bring the bill to the floor for a show vote.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_03]: Put Democrats on record, let them filibuster it, and then use that as campaign ammunition for November.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: But the House GOP wasn't having any of it.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_03]: up to 50 House Republicans led by represent Brandon Gill and represent Anna Polina Luna, they declared that they would vote against every single Senate passed bill, including the big beautiful reconciliation bill, until the save America actually passed in the law.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_03]: Luna warned soon directly.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_03]: Those are your options.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_03]: You got to pass this thing.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_03]: So that's not a block.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, when 70% of voters are behind a bill, you stand up for it.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_03]: And that's exactly to their credit.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_03]: What house Republicans are doing here?
- 5:51[SPEAKER_03]: They are demanding that they'll find a way of getting this bill to President Trump's desk.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_03]: And it looks like they've done just that.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_03]: Here is the great Louisiana Senator John Kennedy.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: So to get to 60, though, it is the thought that this would be a reconciliation bill.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't have to get to the 60, is there a single Democrat?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: Are there several Democrats who would vote with you on the save?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: I would do it to reconciliation.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: We can short-circuit all of this, but I'm in a minority.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: I have a chaste.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: Senator Phone, my good friend, like each stole thanksgiving to try to get him to do a reconcelliation.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: This would be perfect for reconcelliation.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_03]: So this would be perfect for reconciliation bill.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: But again, as Kennedy noted there, they have yet to convince enough Republican senators to get on board with that.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_03]: Now, there is talk about passing what's called a talking filibuster.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_03]: So that's where Democrat senators would have to actually continually give speeches in order to avoid a closure vote that would force a vote on the bill.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's been confirmed.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: that upwards of 30 Senate Republicans are all for implementing a talking filibuster.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: But Thunes not sold on that.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's calling it way too complicated and risky.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to have to change the rules of the chamber.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then when you change rules, the Democrats are able to bring up all of these countermeasures and counterbills and so forth to make the whole
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: As it turns out, Utah Senator Mike Lee looks like he may have found the perfect compromise.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: He's come up with a hybrid approach that promises to accomplish precisely what over 70% of voters want to see voter ID and the restoration of election integrity.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's speaking of a hybrid approach.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_03]: If you love books and are looking for some ways of making extra cash from the comfort of your own
- 7:58[SPEAKER_03]: Do I have something for you?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_03]: What if I told you that there's a little known arbitrage play hiding inside a 30 billion dollar market?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_03]: You heard that we're a 30 billion with a B and regular people with zero background in finance or tech are quietly generating $5,000, $10,000 or even $20,000 a month from it.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_03]: Using nothing but a laptop.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_03]: I know, it sounds almost too good to be true, but it is.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_03]: Here's what's actually going on.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_03]: There's a significant and very real pricing gap in the used book market.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_03]: The same book can be worked dramatically different amounts.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_03]: Depending on where it's listed and the people who've learned how to spot and exploit that gap are building serious, sustainable, income and what makes us unlike anything else that I've ever come across.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: You never actually handle a single physical book.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_03]: No inventory sitting in your garage, no trips to the post office, no physical logistics, whatsoever.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: The whole thing runs from your browser.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_03]: you identify the opportunity, you make a few clicks, and the fulfillment side is handled entirely by someone else.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to be clear, this is an aside hustle that just pads your grocery budget.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: This is a real business model that people are running full time right now.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: Many of them have walked away from their jobs.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_03]: They certainly didn't want to spend the rest of their lives doing.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I'm personally hosting
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: a free live training where I'm going to walk you through exactly how this system works start to finish.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: No filler, no theory, just the actual mechanics of how to find the opportunities and what to do with them.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_03]: I've gone deep on this gang and I am genuinely excited to show you what I found.

- 9:56[SPEAKER_03]: This is definitely one you want to show up for.

- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, important update on the Save American Act and the effort to get it passed.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I am guardedly optimistic.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: We've turned kind of a corner.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: For the last few days, there's been some uncertainty about exactly what procedure we will be and will not be using.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: In the end, we've been working closely with Leader Thone and his staff and they've been great to work with.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: What we're coming up with is something that I think is best described as a hybrid version of the Talking Fill of Oster.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: But look, let's not get mire down in nomenclature.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: What matters far more than what we call it is what we do with it.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to bring it to the floor.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to debate it for an extended period of time before filing closure.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: And in my view at least, I want to speak for anyone else, this bill needs to remain on the Senate floor before we file closure on the bill.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the fact that later thrown in his office has been willing to work with us on this and they appear open to a variation of that is a good thing.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: So let's keep up the momentum, let's encourage them to continue to do this, let's put the bill on the floor, let's make those who want to fill a buster speak and keep it on there as long as possible.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks so much.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: All right, so that's Utah Center, Mike Lee, and as you just heard there, he's guarded Lee optimistic, where his words, saying that the save act has turned a corner, and that he and the majority leader, John Thune, have been quietly working together on what he describes as a hybrid version
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: of the talking filibuster.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: So a traditional talking filibuster means you force Democrats to physically hold the floor speaking continuously without a break to block the bill.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_03]: And that requires changing Senate rules, which soon has been reluctant to do because he's worried his own conference can't hold together under the unlimited amendment barrage from Democrats.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_03]: But a hybrid approach means the bill lands on the Senate
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: for an extended debate before closures even filed giving Democrats or keeping Democrats I should say in the hot seat publicly forcing them to explain their opposition to a bill supported by 71% of the American people day after day after day with cameras rolling heading into a midterm election.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: Now, Thun confirmed this week he's pushing forward with exactly this kind of extended floor process.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: And he made clear.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_03]: This is not a courtesy vote.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's a pressure campaign.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: The longer this sits on the Senate floor, the harder it becomes for red state Democrats like John Ossuff of in Georgia or Democrats vying for the open seat in Michigan to keep voting to block a bill that their own constituent overwhelmingly support.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now, here's what makes this movement so pivotable, pivotal because what's happening here is that it looks like this hybrid version of the talking filibuster that'll force the Democrats to speak for prolonged period of time without having to change Senate rules is getting combined then with Senator John Kennedy's proposal to put it up for a vote via reconciliation.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: So, Kennedy's point is simple, right?
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: if the hybrid floor strategy doesn't work, reconciliation is sitting right there as the nuclear option.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: And there are enough members who want this bill passed that the pressure to use every available tool is only going to end up growing with.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: And the Democrats know it, Senate Democrat leader Schumer is privately warning his caucus that this is not going to be a clean bill, that the procedural landscape is shifting, that the house ultimatum is real, and that at least a handful of red state Democrats are going to face an almost impossible choice between keeping their base happy and explaining to their constituents why they've blocked the citizenship verification bill just months before midterm election.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_03]: So here's the bottom line.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_03]: The Save America Act is heading to the Senate floor this week for what could be the most consequential legislative showdown of 2026.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: The path is not guaranteed through still has reservations.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: The parliamentarian question on reconciliation is unresolved, she might strike it down.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: And it will take sustained house pressure and Senate unity to push it through.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: but Mike Lee's optimism is not a PR move.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: He is the lead sponsor.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_03]: He's been inside these negotiations and when he says the bill has turned a corner, that means something real is shifted inside the conference.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: Senator Kenny found a way.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_03]: The House held the line and now the entire weight of the question falls on a handful of Democrat senators.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have to
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: why they think non-citizens should be on American voter rules.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_03]: The American people are watching, and in 2026, they are paying very, very close attention.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_03]: So what do you guys think?
- 15:12[SPEAKER_03]: Let me know in the comments section below.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: Do you like this hybrid approach?
