Two sisters, ages 4 and 11 months, were rescued from a sweltering trailer after being locked inside for over 24 hours with their babysitter. Officers broke through the door using force as temperatures soared to 97°F — only a box fan kept it bearable. The mother had left her kids with the babysitter, Lakesha Brown, whom she met via social media. Cellphone data and a baby’s cry led investigators to the trailer.
