- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello and we're back.
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the 25th episode of the Aussie Foot Show 9.4 BJ Show Footage Show here at the Blackwood Community Centre once again and I am very honoured to share and let's get on with the show.
- 0:15Speaker 1: So much to cover and maybe we'll hopefully add a prescription of the top 8 at this part, not the overall, but let's get straight into it.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So, yeah, welcome, and it's not just a show that, thank you to Aidan, has joined in in part one and on the part two of the series, in in part one and on the part two of the series.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And welcome to the 20th round 21 and round 22, the 2025 April 26th season for the episode.
- 0:54Speaker 1: 25th episode of the Aussie Footy Show BJ Show, footy Show.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So today's show we will like and just mention, we will share the results of round 21 and some absolute upsets of the round and what great games.
- 1:05Speaker 1: This was, in my opinion, some absolute embarrassments as well and you know teams are in the top eight really shaping up and you know I think they need to.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Really.
- 1:16Speaker 1: You know, in my opinion from the afl they really need to wake up.
- 1:19Speaker 1: You can't bet a team to get these first day night, friday night game and are not performing.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Excuse me about that, but we will start off first night football and for the round 21 results and western bulldogs versus gws giants.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Now, western models need to win.
- 1:36Speaker 1: They need to win big time.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And you know, yes, both coming off some solid wins and performances like that in those Riedel games.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And you know it's no start for GWS.
- 1:47Speaker 1: But they found their feet against Sydney and they have just kept themselves alive in the top eight for both teams.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And Western Bulldogs are out of the top eight Incredible.
- 1:58Speaker 1: They are not in that top eight and they are working every game for the remaining half of that season.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Gws what happened?
- 2:06Speaker 1: They needed to win that game and they just could not find the football.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It was just not their night and it was all the Western Bulldogs.
- 2:15Speaker 1: From quarter time it was all over.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So I don't know what else to say much about, but it was 23,898.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It was a really glow crowd for a fly time Thursday night game, but it was a strong win for the Western Bulldogs.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That's the word I want to see.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The Western Bulldogs are back in the hunt for the finals.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I did not see it happening at all.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I could not see that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It was a shock, and a lot of them will feel that will be a shock.
- 2:43Speaker 1: But my thoughts for this game look, it was an 88 point victory.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Final score 1918-132, defeated 68-44.
- 2:52Speaker 1: So it tells me that western world start from the first bounce and there's so much talent, a percentage just adds up big time.
- 3:00Speaker 1: They're the biggest percentage outside that top eight.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It's now where you call the top nine at this point.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Well, the teams such as all goes well against, such as gold cars is the only team that's it on this.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Not just the same points, not just percentage of the outside.
- 3:17Speaker 1: That top eight game was all over, as I mentioned, quarter time, even the halftime part.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Gws couldn't get into the early in the game and it was hands on football.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Well done Once again Western Middlesex on the win at Marble Stadium.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Good luck against Melbourne at the MCG on the Sunday afternoon and the GWS Giants where they're back at home.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Worst performance for the year and they need to win to stay in that top eight.
- 3:41Speaker 1: All the best against North Melbourne.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They'll be back at home.
- 3:45Speaker 1: We all need to find something, but we do come to the play of the game Now.
- 3:48Speaker 1: This fella was so close to being my play of the game last week.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But he deserves my Aaron Nolment.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Well done from the King forward you 20 disposals, 8 marks, 5 goals and 113 April fans to the 32% of defensive% of forward hardwoods.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Those five goals included 13 score involvement and a free 88 meters game.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So well done to Aaron Newman for the Western Bulldogs here.
- 4:15Speaker 1: All right, we now go straight into that's it super?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Why do I call it super?
- 4:20Speaker 1: This is one of my games of the round and what it it was worth.
- 4:23Speaker 1: According to this, this is the game of the round.
- 4:25Speaker 1: We are heading to the Allied Oval.
- 4:27Speaker 1: This is one of two of the games of the round.
- 4:30Speaker 1: We'll share the other one very soon.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It was worth knowing that.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It was really hard, but sold out crowd 5,654.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Packed the Allied Oval.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And thank you, not just Hawthorne supporters traveling to Adelaide, but Adelaide Crows.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Thank the Adelaide Oval and thank you Not just Hawthorne supporters traveling to Adelaide, but Adelaide Crows.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Thank you for your support.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Without this game we'll be empty.
- 4:49Speaker 1: So this is not just the game of the round, but a great game to watch.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I shared, we'll be sharing each quarter, but I gotta say I did watch this game all night.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Could not believe that.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll watch and I'll come back and watch, and it was each quarter that I'm going to share.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So till the final score.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So both Crows and the Hawks were were the ready to face each other on Friday night footy at the Adelaide Overwind, both teams coming off big wins, especially Adelaide over their rivals in showdown 58 against Port Adelaide.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Hawthorne just had a good win only four goals, but Carl not had their fight to really not have.
- 5:25Speaker 1: They let them big winners.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So breaking down next quarter, here we go.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So how this game went?
- 5:31Speaker 1: First quarter, where Hawthorne Hawks absolutely came on fire and opened five goals to well.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The LA Crozers could not find that goal, but it means one goal for the opening quarter.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Then it was quarter time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Now it was really a huge play 26 points.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That really dressed these players in a calm manner.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Hey, we're in this game, you know, we show what we're made of and absolute that second quarter, just like that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It was all Adelaide showing the northern end and this is why the Adelaide crews are the best in the best.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Six goals, six, 42 points to Hawthorne.
- 6:07Speaker 1: No goals, no points, nothing.
- 6:10Speaker 1: The fans of the LA Cubs showed up and they did it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: They did it against Gold Coast in one half.
- 6:16Speaker 1: They did it for one quarter Shows LA's defense team play really well and they did it against a good star like Hawthorne, which I do respect.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Hawthorne then came at half-time.
- 6:25Speaker 1: It was a 26 points, so 22 points, so a massive changeover, and that's what happened.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It feels like a final-feeling football in my opinion.
- 6:34Speaker 1: We come to the second half, hawthorne aiming to get back in the game, and they did.
- 6:38Speaker 1: They hit eight goals to two, absolutely put an opening for an eight-point ballgame.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Go.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Put in the opening for an 8-point ball game in favour of the Hawthorne Hawks at 3-quarter time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Then it was the 5-goal.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That was not just a beautiful football, but the Adelaide Hawks did it again.
- 6:56Speaker 1: 6-goal was the 2 in the final quarter.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Tyler Walker, the Tex, my goodness, you have absolutely shown that you can kick from outside 50 or inside 50, just tapping in An absolute point.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Unacclimated Final score.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Here we go 15-11, 1-0-1.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Defeated 13-9, 87.
- 7:13Speaker 1: A 14-point win to the LA Crows.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Heads up, hawthorne, be proud of how you play against the LA Crows in really hot form.
- 7:21Speaker 1: All the best against Conningwood on thursday night football.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Both teams will be coming off big losses, massive losses.
- 7:28Speaker 1: We'll share that really soon in a way.
- 7:31Speaker 1: How did that team conningwood play really soon.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's giving me a little bit hint but obviously you find out that as a sport that part.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But la will travel to perth.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Now it's not like a walk into Perth.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's not a walk into Perth of up the stadium and actually win it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's not a thing of that West Coast still not easy trip.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It's the same thing like LA, brisbane and Melbourne and Geelong.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It's no different than any other stadiums.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But LA will show that, will play their football and that's a good way of knowing for Pratt how LA will really really win and we'll share that really soon.
- 8:06Speaker 1: My reviews Now I'm going to give you a little bit different in this play of the game.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I only did it for one player for maybe for the other game, but this is totally the game of the round and why do I say that?
- 8:18Speaker 1: We'll share that really soon.
- 8:19Speaker 1: But one deserves a Hawthorne player.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You know this player is absolutely dominated.
- 8:24Speaker 1: He's been my well, totally one of my Hawthorne's best players and deserved to be in the All-Australian selection.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He's so close to being selected and I think he earns his spot, in my opinion, in my All-Australian.
- 8:36Speaker 1: We'll find out really soon at the BJ Show, ward's Show.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But Louis Mick on the Hawthorne, a ruck man, absolute dominator on 17 disposals, free mark, five tackles, 44 hit outs, dominating now 107.
- 8:51Speaker 1: A full fan city, 62 defensive half, 38 forward, half five score involvement with a 28 center bounce attenders.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Well done, loy mink form the Hawthorne Ruckman, their second player, all Adelaide totally dominates.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Slow start really got.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Really could not find his game started well, but he totally got himself in the game.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Well done to Riley Phil from the Adelaide key forward include 12 disposals, eight marks, two tackles, 4 goals, 93 AFL fans, 55% half, 45% forward, half 6 score involvement.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It was a 254 metres game With the 12-rack contest was to hit out.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Well done Riley Philford from the Adelaide Crows Key forward and our player of the game.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's not just he's the captain from the Adelaide Crows, I'll just say that.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Jordan Dawson.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Well done, mate Lay of the game 21 disposals, 4 marks, 12 tackles.
- 9:49Speaker 1: This fella can kick two goals, 125 A4 offense.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He deserves a lot more than that.
- 9:55Speaker 1: With 53% defensive half, 47% forward, half 5-4 involvement, one goal has to see 372 metersmetre score with a 24 centre-bounce attendance.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Absolutely desired.
- 10:07Speaker 1: My player of the game.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Well done, jordan Dawson from the LA Crows Captain.
- 10:11Speaker 1: We come now to Super Saturday 40.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That is it.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That's right.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Four games to share with one.
- 10:18Speaker 1: We've got two Saturday, one Saturday afternoon.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Then we get to try-like football and then in With the Sassoula Night Football.
- 10:25Speaker 1: What a game this was.
- 10:27Speaker 1: We, the first ones At Marble Stadium For the Melbourne Demons and the West Coast Eagles At, like I said, marble Stadium, the second game.
- 10:35Speaker 1: We head to the Gold Coast At people's first Day with the Gold Coast Sons, we'll take on Richmond Tigers.
- 10:40Speaker 1: The third game of the two-double tri-late football.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Scgs need this excellent in the wet conditions than what we've been waiting for back at the MCG in Melbourne, cronywood and Brisbane.
- 10:53Speaker 1: That 2023 grand final rematch.
- 10:57Speaker 1: What an absolute beauty this will be.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Let's attend now to the Marble Stone for the Melbourne Demons and West Coast Eagles A really, really terrible 16,394.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Let's attend now to the Marble Stone for the Melbourne Demons and West Coast Eagles.
- 11:06Speaker 1: A really, really terrible 16,394 at Marble Stone, the one, the lowest crowd for the year and for anyone.
- 11:14Speaker 1: That is not good.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Final score 21 13, 139 defeated 8 8, 56.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So we all know west coast totally on the rebuilding and they've got to find some talent in the offseason.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's big time for the west coast eagles and the coaching crew.
- 11:30Speaker 1: So really coming from melbourne to find their four corners of football against a team like that, that changed, to win and not lose so much.
- 11:40Speaker 1: West Coast returns back home to the Adelaide Crows against the Arts at Upton Stadium, which really hopefully they'll get a good crowd at Upton Stadium, which they have done, and it's coincidental to the supporters of West Coast.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They have struggled but get around around, support the team west coast and hopefully we'll get a good crowd for the last game, for the well, for the round, for round 22.
- 12:04Speaker 1: We'll share that really soon.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But melvin, well done on this win.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Even it's not the mcg no, you're not a fan of marble stadium, why?
- 12:12Speaker 1: It was a really glow crowd but should get 20 to 25.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I'll be pretty happy but 16,000 plus is not really good.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So the win is a good thing for the Melbourne Demons Playing at Marble.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Going 21 goals is a pretty good effort.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Well, against their opponent with eight goals we're even Melbourne not playing finals.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It was great and hopefully to keep Simon Goodwin as their head coach at Melbourne, not much to say.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Let's drive in the play of the game, which is Harry Perry, the key forward from the Melbourne Demons.
- 12:44Speaker 1: We include 11 disposals, 8 marks, 4 tackles, 3 goals, 93.
- 12:48Speaker 1: 8 for offense, 17% defensive half, 83% forward half.
- 12:52Speaker 1: We included 8 score involvements, 1 goal assist and a 0-2.
- 12:58Speaker 1: 9-7.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Who did?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Eight score involvements, one goal assist and a 0-2.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Nine seven-meters Going well done to Harry Perry for the Melbourne Key forward.
- 13:08Speaker 1: We now come to the first.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Well, only the double-try light football here on the BJ Show, footy Show.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And really this is only really not the best year for Richmond.
- 13:15Speaker 1: We know it's a rebuilding season but they are better than that.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They did so well Six goals defeat against one of the best teams in the AFL of Conningwood at the MCG.
- 13:25Speaker 1: And we are at people's first day when they travel against a team like Gold Coast, knowing that Gold Coast are going to absolutely put on a clinic and it's a wake-up call really for Richmond.
- 13:37Speaker 1: They know they're better than this on a clinic and it's a wake-up for really the rich men.
- 13:40Speaker 1: They know they're better than this.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And let's find out, was the final score 16, 11, 107 to 2 11, 23?
- 13:44Speaker 1: So the crowd attendance was 14 841 pack at people's first stadium.
- 13:49Speaker 1: So not much say but well done, big win.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Bongar coach percentage is a big thing and really at home is a really important thing which when I'm on a test, we know challenges happen during the year but you know you can bounce back next week and you know it's not easy this season it's been your pace ain't killed her.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Back at the mcg, hopefully a bit better hope to see richmond supporters come out support your team.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Even it's a struggling year.
- 14:15Speaker 1: You know you can do well.
- 14:16Speaker 1: You can get a 40 000 at the mcg.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'll be proud of that.
- 14:17Speaker 1: 40, 45 000.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's a struggling year.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You know you can do well.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You can get a 40,000 at the MCG.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'll be proud of that.
- 14:20Speaker 1: 40,000, 45,000 is not great but it's at least 85% sold.
- 14:24Speaker 1: So if we can get a 5% sold out at the MCG between the Tigers and the Saints, I'll be pretty happy at the MCG for this game.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So Gold Coast, yes, another win to keep themselves in the top eight.
- 14:37Speaker 1: First time, hopefully in the top eight.
- 14:45Speaker 1: First time, hopefully in the top four, first time ever since they joined the afl.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Well, gold coast travel to to play carlton at marble saving, which is not a big fan for gold coast and damian hardwood not undercoat.
- 14:51Speaker 1: But I think they will take on a good win there.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We will share that very soon.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Carlton, will they need to find challenges against Gold Coast.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You know Gold Coast want to play finals and they are facing big time to do that, first time since they joined the AFL.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Well, we play the play of the game.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Matt Rowe well, a strong performance, and how can I say it?
- 15:10Speaker 1: I mean feel like him.
- 15:11Speaker 1: 27 disposals, 3 marks, 9 tackles, 106 April fan cities, 61% defensive half, 39% forward half, 12 scoring bowl runs, 16 centre-bounce attenders, 12 clear-inters Big performance for the man and should be up there.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Hopefully he'll come the Gold Coast Best and fairest, well earned mate.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Well done on your performance, matt Rowe from the Gold Coast Suns.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Sir, we now come to the SCG Low mistral, wet conditions.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Well, this was low and credit to Essendon.
- 15:45Speaker 1: We'll share that really soon we're heading to Sydney at the SCG for the Sydney Swans versus Essendon Bombers.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Now I've got to say I'm going to share a start off with Essendon and it was a big road trip to Sydney, not easy as well.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It was start off with Essendon and it was a big road trip to Sydney, not easy as well.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It was a well effort by Essendon.
- 16:02Speaker 1: This is a performance you need to do against a team that not may not play but stay in the contest, a 20,800 a fire pack, which is okay for this wet conditions, you know.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Final score 19-14, 6-8, defeated the mighty Mighty Bombers 7-12, 54.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So 14 points.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Really, that's a low defeat and that's a much better performance, but unfortunately Sydney will just slightly better.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yeah, sydney, take on their well.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Brisbane at the gutter Grand.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Final rematch will not be in as well as and they will travel to Geelong at GMHBA, staying to take on Geelong Cat, which will be a big challenge, but I think they'll be in that contest as well.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Well, making it short and sharp, the part of the game Brodie Grundy from the Sydney Swans Ruckman includes 39 disposals, 8 marks, 1 tackle, 1.58 for fan city, 42% defensive half, 58% forward, half 1 goal assist, 9 score involvement, 16 center bounce attenders, 13 clearances and 32 head outs with, well, 75 Ruck contest.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Well done to that, brodie Grundy, sydney Swans Ruckman.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Okay, so we know that we never have back to back best on grounds here on the BJ show and first time ever.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And we do come to Back-to-back best on grounds here on the BJ Show and first time ever.
- 17:19Speaker 1: And we do come to the second play of the game of the round by far best to watch back at the MCG on a Saturday night, melbourne.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Well, at MCG Cornwall versus Brisbane A 2023 Grand Final win match, and you can't go any better.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Well, sharing the Gold Coast as well.
- 17:40Speaker 1: In Sydney, in the West, now we face this game 82,326 pack, the MCG on perfect condition, which is great for both teams.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Well done, mighty Brisbane Lions Came out the face coin with that, the MCG on what it could be the amazing, and it was anyone's to win this game on, really the best game I've seen in such a long time, not just generally the footy season, but the competition, and that opens up for anyone to take second spot, that is, any team.
- 18:18Speaker 1: So, 27-point victory for Goodweather Brisbane 14-8, 92, 10-5, 65, conningwood.
- 18:24Speaker 1: This was not just the win for Brisbane.
- 18:27Speaker 1: They needed, after their loss against their rivals in the Q-Clash, well, 29 against Gold Coast on the Gold Coast and heads up Conningwood.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's always awful.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Next week, on Thursday Night, football at the MCG, which will be shared very soon on the BJ Show, the footy show, and Connie heads up.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Anything can happen and it happened.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Against Brisbane.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Win is not with everything.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It wasn't enough to win, but Brisbane's weight will take on Sydney in the Glashiers 2024 Grand Final win match on the Saturday afternoon at the Gutter where, against Sydney, we'll take the against the Brennan Prentice.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And we're going to go straight to my play of the game Lockie Neal from the Brisbane midfielder 36 disposals, 4 marks, 3 tackles, 112 over fans, 76 defensive 24% forward half score involvement 367 metres 24 fans, 12 cleaners.

- 19:20Speaker 1: Well done to Lockie Neal from the Brisbane midfield.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Alright, it's time to share these last three games, to share my results.
- 19:27Speaker 1: We're on round 21.
- 19:28Speaker 1: The first one we're back at Marbles David in Melbourne For St Kilda vs North Melbourne, which was a game that should be watched and really I'm looking forward to sharing it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: We head down to Geelong at GMHBA Damien at the Calibia Park, geelong for the late.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Then the final was 3-2 Dockers and come Blues.
- 19:47Speaker 1: What a game this was.
- 19:49Speaker 1: At Imperve, at Octavian let's drive into the first game and St Kilda, north Melbourne at Marble.
- 19:55Speaker 1: St Kilda was a well done to St Kilda, another win, which is the great effort to North Melbourne, never given up after that awful loss against Geelong.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Learning is everything.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And this game against St Kilda was a bit better, much better, at Marble Stadium as well.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I'm going to say St Kilda will take on Richmond MCG and North Melbourne GDS and the West of Sydney.
- 20:19Speaker 1: So I'm not going to say too much, but really North Melbourne did bring the pressure.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I think they really earned their spot.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Right now, north Melbourne in a really good time.
- 20:28Speaker 1: They've got some great talent on their list and those wins are not coming together.
- 20:32Speaker 1: They've got to play together, get the supporters to support you and hopefully more and more to come.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Well, st Kilda, a matter of back-to-back wins.
- 20:40Speaker 1: You know that 46 points really against Melbourne and 1 by 6 points and 1 by 9 points.
- 20:46Speaker 1: These little wins will come through and hopefully some, really hopefully, north Melbourne will be in that game after that.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Well, gds, the hell of a defeat against the Dogs at Marble Stadium.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I think this will be a better performance from GDS.
- 20:58Speaker 1: They will bounce back, but I think North Melbourne will have a tie a little bit better.
- 21:02Speaker 1: We'll see what happens between these two teams.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Really, the part of the game back-to-back earned his spot.
- 21:07Speaker 1: A three best on grounds in a row Should be my Australian.
- 21:11Speaker 1: He's so close to being picked.
- 21:13Speaker 1: But Nasser Walinga Miller, in quote of his his disposal Nasser Walinga Miller In quota, 36 disposals, 3 marks, 1 tackle, 108 A4 fans, 60% defensive half, 40% forward, half, 9 score involvement 6-7, 7 metres game 19-7, bounce attendants and 9 clearances.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Well done to Nasser Walinga Miller from St Kilda, defender midfielder.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So we're heading now to Geelong.
- 21:39Speaker 1: We're going to make it really short, not much to say, but a better performance by Port Adelaide.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This is what you want to do against Geelong, but you need to do it for four quarters, knowing you don't have some great stars in the team, unfortunately.
- 21:53Speaker 1: But Geelong versus Port Adelaide is the second game and really it wasn't easy to travel to Geelong by Port Adelaide and knew it was going to be a really good first half and now in the game, port Adelaide.
- 22:11Speaker 1: But Geelong work even harder, play their 60 football by Geelong and they did play their football against Port Adelaide.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Well, port Adelaide do return back home for three weeks.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You know even they were playing their showdown.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It really wasn't a travel game.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But they play on the Saturday night against Friantle.
- 22:22Speaker 1: I just don't think Port Adelaide have a chance of winning.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You never know.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I think they'll have some efforts to take on Friantel.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Friantel will learn what they did against a slow start.
- 22:32Speaker 1: You can't slow start against Port Adelaide at Annala Nova.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I think Port Adelaide will have effort.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Well, the Geelong will stay down to Geelong, with Essendon travelling to G GMHBA staying on Friday Night Football, which I think is going to earn it.
- 22:46Speaker 1: But S&N, really I think it's going to be a belting game.
- 22:50Speaker 1: But we come to the part of the game making this short.
- 22:52Speaker 1: As I mentioned before, max Holmes, absolutely unbelievable to our midfielder, dominic, with 35 disposals, 7 marks, who tackles Two goals, 1.30, april fan city 54% defensive, half defensive, half 46 forward, half 15 score involvement 875 meters games, 78, 75 meters game and 18 center bounce attenders.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Well done to the geelong midfield star, max holmes.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The final game for round 21.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Where's the season gone?
- 23:27Speaker 1: It's been so quick.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I didn't share, did stay tuned.
- 23:31Speaker 1: We might add the top eight positions.
- 23:34Speaker 1: It is not the overall, it is our idea, of my opinion.
- 23:38Speaker 1: But we do come to the final game 300 versus Carlton for round 21, final game.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So what a start by Carlton.
- 23:45Speaker 1: A road trip to Perth and take on an easy opponent was not easy.
- 23:49Speaker 1: In good form want to play finals and they did it.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Carlton start great, really great, but Friandel had work to do, doing the hard ways, but no rise after quarter time.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Even the second half it was all free and tall.
- 24:02Speaker 1: The final score 15-4, 9410, 767.
- 24:05Speaker 1: So big win, 27 point win by free and tall.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Every game now needs to be taken on.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Cardinal will take on the gold coast suns, free on the road to la.
- 24:15Speaker 1: To take on the portale power well as well.
- 24:18Speaker 1: The crowd attendance was 39 358 attendance.
- 24:23Speaker 1: The ply of the game, andrew bradshaw, can't go fast.
- 24:26Speaker 1: From this midfielder star, the dogger star 23 disposals, 4 marks, 8 tackles, 90.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Able of entity 74% defensive half.
- 24:35Speaker 1: 26% forward half.
- 24:36Speaker 1: 4 scoring moments 332 metres.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Game 10 clearances.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Well done, andrew Bradshaw.
- 24:42Speaker 1: From the 3-and-all midfieldes.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Well done, andrew Bradshaw.
- 24:44Speaker 1: From the Friar's Hall Midfield Star.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Well done.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Round 21.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Results I've all complete.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We're now heading to round 22.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Previews Wow, only got Well.
- 24:54Speaker 1: 22.
- 24:55Speaker 1: 23.
- 24:56Speaker 1: 24.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Three weeks Wow, we are so in.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm just going to make this short and sweet.
- 25:02Speaker 1: We're going to go into each game in our row.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Nothing exciting for both games.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I think there's some really good games to watch out.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Some are a bit boring.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So I'm just going to be honest with my Patricians.
- 25:13Speaker 1: And what do you think?
- 25:14Speaker 1: As well.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But let's get driving to it.
- 25:16Speaker 1: So Hawthorne Connywood at the MCG Thursday night football.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Look, Connywood Will will totally bounce back.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It was not their night playing the MCG, whereas Hawthorne they'll bounce back over that heavy defeat against the LA Crows.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I think it was just not easy to go to Adelaide.
- 25:32Speaker 1: They started well and they dropped their heads and Conor will win by 20 points.
- 25:36Speaker 1: It will be closed all night.
- 25:39Speaker 1: We now go down to Friday night football with Geelong versus Essendon.
- 25:42Speaker 1: And it was a great effort from Essendon against Sydney on the road in Sydney, geelong winning so comfortably and I am going to go and take Geelong as my tip and strongly, 65 point win over Essendon and Richmond and St Kilda first of the Saturday game times and hoping to see Richmond back in action at the MCG and hopefully a better performance, a bit better, and that do-do.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Take on St Kilda.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Well, st Kilda.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Big win over North Melbourne.
- 26:10Speaker 1: They're a marble same.
- 26:11Speaker 1: So across where they are it's good to be seeing.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Hopefully it'll be a good crowd.
- 26:15Speaker 1: But I really think it's going to be close.
- 26:17Speaker 1: It'll be a good contest.
- 26:18Speaker 1: But St Kilda by 23 points.
- 26:21Speaker 1: We got the grand final rematch.
- 26:23Speaker 1: We, 23 points, we got the grand final rematch.
- 26:25Speaker 1: We're heading to the gutter.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Brisbane versus Sydney I'm going with Brisbane by 33 points.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Carlton, gold Coast.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Well, really, in the West, good effort Gold Coast.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Heavy win over Richmond, gold Coast by 45 points at Marble Stadium against the Carlton Blues.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Saturday night football we have a doubleheader and this is the second one Port Adelaide versus Friantel.
- 26:45Speaker 1: All efforts better by Port Adelaide but Friantel slow start against Carlton and it will be all.
- 26:51Speaker 1: The mighty.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Friantel Dockers will take a comfortable win by 26 points against Port Adelaide.
- 26:57Speaker 1: We come to well, some games to know.
- 27:00Speaker 1: We've got three games to share gws versus north melbourne, back in the west of sydney, with gws giants winning by 36 points to get their season back on track.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Melbourne western bulldogs western bulldogs must win and they win by 28 points against melbourne.
- 27:14Speaker 1: After this game we'll be playing mcg, if that would be correct, and we head to the last game where west coast and adelaide in perth at up to saving hope to see a 45 000 plus for this game, 80 point victory to, and Adelaide in Perth at up to saving Hope to see a 45,000 plus for this game, 80 point victory to the Adelaide Crows.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I know it's heavy, I know it's harsh, but I think it's going to be that way.
- 27:33Speaker 1: With Adelaide pale, the Adelaide will show their style, but not too much to share, but I think it's going to be beauty.
- 27:40Speaker 1: But that's it All locked in.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Previews are locked in.
- 27:44Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Now the ladder Now I did say this earlier in the show that I might be doing this, but after round 22,.
- 27:53Speaker 1: We are now going to look into my top eight after round 22.
- 27:58Speaker 1: This is not the overall just yet.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Wait for round 23 to finish, then I'll finalise my overall.
- 28:06Speaker 1: So it's hard to pick at this stage and this is my top eight.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And one thing is totally locked out.
- 28:11Speaker 1: So this is not, like I mentioned, not overall at this stage.
- 28:15Speaker 1: But I'm going to share from eighth to first and I'll have to swap some teams out.
- 28:19Speaker 1: So GWS Giants were in that top eight.
- 28:22Speaker 1: They're in ninth.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Why is that?
- 28:24Speaker 1: They just could not find the win against the Dogs.
- 28:26Speaker 1: They need to win that.
- 28:27Speaker 1: If they won against the Dogs, I'll put them over Western Bulldogs.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Which Western Bulldogs come in eighth?
- 28:31Speaker 1: We have Hawthorne Hawks and Sims.
- 28:34Speaker 1: They will slide in.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But you never know what happens after round 23 with three and two Dockers Look well done on.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You know they need to keep winning and they've got three games to prove they can want to play finals.
- 28:45Speaker 1: They could be finishing top four.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You never know.
- 28:47Speaker 1: We have Gold Coast.
- 28:48Speaker 1: My first time ever since joining the AFL I put them in fifth spot.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Now we come to the top four.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Now it's a bit shaky with Loba Central as Brisbane they come in fourth, honeywood will come in third, geelong in second and the Adelaide Crows surely to finish first.
- 29:05Speaker 1: So there you have it.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I work in the top four straight in Henning on Gold Coast.
- 29:10Speaker 1: All right, there you have it.
- 29:12Speaker 1: My round eight positions after round 22.
- 29:15Speaker 1: This is I'm going to say this again not over yet.
- 29:17Speaker 1: It is not the overall.
- 29:19Speaker 1: So stay tuned for the official top eight and even the ninth spot maybe.
- 29:25Speaker 1: So we have.
- 29:26Speaker 1: That is all we have for today's show.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Hope you all enjoy it.
- 29:30Speaker 1: That's it.
