Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein, The Diddler On Wall Streets Roof (7/27/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: This morning. That goes a little bit into how Jeffrey
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein was turning and burning IPOs and how that was
0:10
Speaker 1: a huge, huge source of wealth for him. Now we
0:15
Speaker 1: know he's not some financial guru. We've established that, we
0:18
Speaker 1: know that he is not some sort of oracle of Omaha,
0:22
Speaker 1: and we know that this guy isn't you know, really
0:27
Speaker 1: out there on Wall Street with this huge name where
0:30
Speaker 1: people think, oh, yeah, it's Jeffrey Epstein, this dude's a
0:33
Speaker 1: stock whiz. That wasn't the case, and they tried to
0:37
Speaker 1: pump it to us like it was right. The narrative
0:40
Speaker 1: was he's this wealthy financier and I just the proof
0:46
Speaker 1: really isn't in the pudding. To tell you the truth,
0:50
Speaker 1: it looks like Jeffrey Epstein, the way he was getting
0:53
Speaker 1: a lot of his money was via these underwritten IPOs
0:58
Speaker 1: that are basically guaranteed by the banks. So they'd toss
1:03
Speaker 1: him these hot IPOs and Jeffrey Epstein and his shell
1:07
Speaker 1: companies like we talked about, would turn and burn him
1:10
Speaker 1: for a good profit, basically a guaranteed profit. And in
1:14
Speaker 1: the world of finance, the word guaranteed very rarely comes along.
1:20
Speaker 1: So when you have the ability to have underwritten stock
1:26
Speaker 1: options thrown your way by these institutions, you automatically have
1:31
Speaker 1: a leg up. Never mind the financial privilege that you have,
1:36
Speaker 1: but now on top of it, you're getting all of
1:40
Speaker 1: the goodies, all of the extras. Even after they knew
1:44
Speaker 1: what Jeffrey Epstein was. And that's the rub here, right,
1:47
Speaker 1: I'm not talking about prior to his arrest, they'd at
1:51
Speaker 1: least be able to defend themselves then, Ah, we didn't know.
1:54
Speaker 1: Even if we don't believe that statement, they'd at least
1:59
Speaker 1: have a defensible position. But this was going on after
2:03
Speaker 1: his arrest. This was going on after everybody knew what
2:06
Speaker 1: sort of slimy scumbag this dude was. But they didn't care.
2:11
Speaker 1: They were still offering him them IPOs. They were still
2:14
Speaker 1: offering him the hot stocks for him to make a
2:17
Speaker 1: quick profit off of, and all because he was steering
2:21
Speaker 1: business back their way. It is an absolutely parasite type
2:29
Speaker 1: of relationship, the way they feed off of each other.
2:33
Speaker 1: And I really hope with the new anti money laundering
2:38
Speaker 1: regulations that were stuffed in the bill that was just
2:42
Speaker 1: past the NDAA that we start to see some teeth
2:46
Speaker 1: when it comes to money laundering and these people who
2:50
Speaker 1: were involved in this sort of thing. Let's hope that
2:54
Speaker 1: some repercussions are coming down the pipe and that we
2:58
Speaker 1: won't just get these ridiculous rulings where the companies have
3:03
Speaker 1: to pay some money like they don't. Look, I get it.
3:06
Speaker 1: It's a lot of money, right, one hundred and fifty million,
3:08
Speaker 1: nothing to sneeze at for us but for the bank
3:12
Speaker 1: pennies on the dollar. And they're not paying it anyway.
3:14
Speaker 1: The stockholders are you are? You're paying that twenty six
3:18
Speaker 1: percent finance fear right on your hondai. You're paying it, folks.
3:24
Speaker 1: So these people, they really thought that their relationships with
3:28
Speaker 1: Epstein weren't going to be put on blast, and they
3:31
Speaker 1: thought they were going to skate by for all of
3:33
Speaker 1: these years and all of this time the way they
3:35
Speaker 1: always have. But they had no idea what was in
3:41
Speaker 1: store for them in twenty twenty and they certainly have
3:45
Speaker 1: no idea what's coming down the pipe in twenty twenty one.
3:50
Speaker 1: Because the foot is just now pressing down on the accelerator. Right.
3:56
Speaker 1: We haven't even what are we in third gear an
3:58
Speaker 1: hour or so. We haven't even really seen the freeway
4:02
Speaker 1: speeds that are coming in this case, and there's going
4:05
Speaker 1: to be a lot of them. There's going to be
4:07
Speaker 1: a lot of craziness going on in this case, a
4:11
Speaker 1: lot of people being dragged into it that are going
4:17
Speaker 1: to have to answer questions that have tried to avoid
4:19
Speaker 1: it for a long time. And hopefully we'll see the
4:23
Speaker 1: legacy media do their job and start pursuing some of
4:27
Speaker 1: these leads the way that these leads should be pursued,
4:33
Speaker 1: because as of now, we know that's not the case.
4:35
Speaker 1: We know that all the way up until twenty fifteen,
4:39
Speaker 1: even Amy Robock and her goons were killing stories at ABC,
4:47
Speaker 1: and even after you know, we had the league tape,
4:51
Speaker 1: we heard what went on. We know that they squashed
4:55
Speaker 1: it because of access to the royals, and we even
4:58
Speaker 1: have Robock on on Wax saying that she doesn't believe
5:02
Speaker 1: Epstein killed himself either. But none of that ever was
5:06
Speaker 1: going to see the air, none of that was ever
5:09
Speaker 1: going to be put out into the public sphere, because
5:13
Speaker 1: at the end of the day, the legacy media doesn't
5:16
Speaker 1: respect you, they don't care about you. They think you're
5:19
Speaker 1: stupid as hell, and they think that no matter what
5:22
Speaker 1: sort of nonsense they pump that you're gonna buy at
5:25
Speaker 1: hook line and sinker. And for a long time we
5:29
Speaker 1: all did, right, We turned on the news and we figured,
5:31
Speaker 1: all right, this shit's on ABC, this shit's on CBS
5:34
Speaker 1: and NBC, and all right, this has to be the truth.
5:39
Speaker 1: But we know that's not the case. We know now
5:41
Speaker 1: for sure that the legacy media is playing their own
5:46
Speaker 1: game and the best interest of the public most certainly
5:51
Speaker 1: isn't their end goal. And we've seen that on steroids
5:59
Speaker 1: in the Jeffrey Epstein in case time and time again.
6:03
Speaker 1: So when they don't dig into the finances, when they
6:07
Speaker 1: don't talk about things like this like they should be,
6:10
Speaker 1: well it makes you wonder why. And I would think
6:14
Speaker 1: that the IPOs, the stock market moves Epstein was making,
6:22
Speaker 1: and the institutions that were underwriting these IPOs that Epstein
6:27
Speaker 1: was afforded, I think that that would be a bigger
6:30
Speaker 1: part of the story. You know, that is it's a
6:34
Speaker 1: huge deal. This is, in my opinion, one of the
6:38
Speaker 1: huge ways Jeffrey Epstein was bringing in money, and it
6:44
Speaker 1: is something that I think, as the story moves forward,
6:48
Speaker 1: is going to come to the forefront. If the financial
6:53
Speaker 1: portion of this is truly investigated and prosecuted in the
6:58
Speaker 1: manner that it should be, because everything is there for
7:01
Speaker 1: them right here, folks. It all just comes down to
7:04
Speaker 1: willpower at this point, how much further are they willing
7:09
Speaker 1: to go besides Maxwell Brunel, the Core four, how much
7:14
Speaker 1: further are they willing to go to really put their
7:18
Speaker 1: boot to the neck of all of these people that
7:21
Speaker 1: were involved financially as well. They have the basis here,
7:26
Speaker 1: they have the circumstantial evidence, they have the probable cause.
7:31
Speaker 1: The question is do they have the willpower? And I
7:35
Speaker 1: guess the answer to that is undetermined. I guess we'll
7:38
Speaker 1: have to see. But today's article is from wall Street
7:43
Speaker 1: on Parade. It's if you're not familiar with it, it's
7:47
Speaker 1: a kind of like a guide to Wall Street for citizens,
7:51
Speaker 1: like a layman's blog sort of where they cover a
7:54
Speaker 1: bunch of different things that are going on on Wall Street,
7:56
Speaker 1: a bunch of the crooks on Wall Street, et cetera,
7:59
Speaker 1: et cetera. So, if you're not familiar with Wall Street
8:02
Speaker 1: on Parade and you're interested in this financial chase that
8:06
Speaker 1: we're on here, it's certainly a cool website to check
8:10
Speaker 1: out and put into your rotation. So this article was
8:14
Speaker 1: authored by Pam Martin's and Russ Martin's July fifteenth of
8:19
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen headline tax filing suggests child sex offender Jeffrey
8:26
Speaker 1: Epstein made his wealth flipping hot IPOs on Wall Street.
8:31
Speaker 1: And now this plays right into our article that we
8:34
Speaker 1: read recently from Barons that was talking about the same thing,
8:39
Speaker 1: the IPOs that were afforded by Morgan Stanley and other institutions,
8:46
Speaker 1: where Jeffrey Epstein was given these IPOs of the rights
8:50
Speaker 1: to them and able to grab them up from the bank,
8:54
Speaker 1: and then he was able to flip them right away
8:58
Speaker 1: and make a guarantee profit with basically no chance at
9:02
Speaker 1: a risk of loss. And this is something that he
9:06
Speaker 1: was doing a lot prevalently, and it's something that definitely
9:11
Speaker 1: needs to be brought to light and spoken on a
9:14
Speaker 1: bit more. Jeffrey Epstein is variously called a billionaire, a hedge,
9:23
Speaker 1: funge manager, or a financier in the hundreds of articles
9:27
Speaker 1: that have appeared in print this month. Pedophile is the
9:31
Speaker 1: correct term, by the way, but no one can say
9:36
Speaker 1: with any certainty how Epstein obtained his wealth or exactly
9:40
Speaker 1: how much wealth he actually has. We've located a highly
9:44
Speaker 1: interesting Ledger from one of his nonprofit tax filings, which
9:48
Speaker 1: shows he was able to get his hands on highly
9:50
Speaker 1: preferential hot IPOs initial public offerings and flip them on
9:56
Speaker 1: their first day of trading. We'll explore that in detail,
10:00
Speaker 1: but first some background. And this is just more context
10:05
Speaker 1: on that article from Barns. This is about the same situation, right.
10:09
Speaker 1: Like I said last night on the live stream, I
10:11
Speaker 1: wanted to talk about it a little bit more and
10:13
Speaker 1: add a little more context, and with the news being slow,
10:16
Speaker 1: this is the perfect time to do it. And when
10:20
Speaker 1: these IPOs come out, it's a big, a big deal. Right.
10:26
Speaker 1: For instance, when I was promoted to a management position
10:30
Speaker 1: with Canner Fitzgerald, they were talking about taking our company
10:34
Speaker 1: public cannor Gaming. So part of my package to sign
10:41
Speaker 1: on into a management position was shares of the IPO
10:45
Speaker 1: if it ever went public, And I was given X
10:48
Speaker 1: amount of shares as part of my package, And if
10:51
Speaker 1: the company ever went public like it was supposed to,
10:54
Speaker 1: well I would have been in the money, you know,
10:56
Speaker 1: with however many shares I had, what they were worth,
10:59
Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. But what happens with people
11:01
Speaker 1: like Epstein, it's that but on steroids, right, these people
11:06
Speaker 1: are there, they're handpicked. Who's afforded these benefits. These people
11:12
Speaker 1: are handpicked who's going to get these tips and these
11:15
Speaker 1: the access to these IPOs, and Jeffrey Epstein should not
11:19
Speaker 1: have had access to these things after his arrest. Before
11:22
Speaker 1: his arrest. Again, it's debatable, right, we know there's scumbags
11:25
Speaker 1: in the world, in the finance world, but until it's proven,
11:30
Speaker 1: until you have tangible evidence, you can't really, you know,
11:34
Speaker 1: go too crazy about something. But with Epstein, we're talking
11:38
Speaker 1: about a guy who had already been convicted and he
11:40
Speaker 1: was still being afforded these privileges. Jeffrey Epstein is doing
11:48
Speaker 1: federal court in Manhattan this morning to argue his case
11:51
Speaker 1: for being allowed to serve his time until trial under
11:55
Speaker 1: house arrest and his opulent seventy seven million dollar mansion
11:59
Speaker 1: on the East Side rather than the drab confinements of jail. Now,
12:04
Speaker 1: remember this article is from twenty nineteen, a bit older.
12:09
Speaker 1: But sometimes you have to dig back into the time
12:12
Speaker 1: machine to get the articles that are going to discuss
12:16
Speaker 1: the topics that are hot at hand. Because once again
12:20
Speaker 1: the legacy media hasn't dug any deeper you know, they
12:23
Speaker 1: talk about this stuff one or two articles and then
12:26
Speaker 1: that's it. Nothing, no deeper dive, no context, and certainly
12:32
Speaker 1: no explanations about what any of it means. Epstein was
12:41
Speaker 1: arrested by federal prosecutors on Saturday, July sixth and charged
12:47
Speaker 1: with sex trafficking of minors and sexually abusing dozens of
12:51
Speaker 1: underage girls at his mansions in Palm Beach, Manhattan and
12:55
Speaker 1: excuse me, in Palm Beach, Manhattan and potentially at other
12:59
Speaker 1: mansions he owned. Well, we know for a fact now
13:01
Speaker 1: that that's certainly the case. We know that the Virgin Islands,
13:05
Speaker 1: for sure, down at his island there was a hotspot
13:09
Speaker 1: for him to abuse people and traffic girls, and certainly
13:14
Speaker 1: Zoro Ranch. I'm not going to go off on my
13:16
Speaker 1: usual tangent about Zoro Ranch right now, but you all
13:20
Speaker 1: know where I stand on that place. There are a
13:25
Speaker 1: multitude of strong arguments against releasing this man from jail. Ostensibly,
13:31
Speaker 1: Epstein should have begun serving a life sentence a decade ago,
13:35
Speaker 1: after Palm Beach, Florida police compiled sexual assault and trafficking
13:39
Speaker 1: evidence from more than forty young women and gave it
13:43
Speaker 1: to the FBI, and therein lies the crux of the
13:46
Speaker 1: whole entire problem. You see, a lot of people will
13:50
Speaker 1: want to point at the figureheads who have taken the
13:55
Speaker 1: forefront of this case, right like people like Virginia and
13:59
Speaker 1: Annie and Coreny, all of the girls who have come
14:01
Speaker 1: forward and have spoken up publicly. They're the de facto
14:05
Speaker 1: face of this. But we have to remember that there
14:08
Speaker 1: are other unnamed girls, girls that have never come forward
14:11
Speaker 1: or who have never had their chance to, uh, you know,
14:16
Speaker 1: speak on it in public because they're still scared, or
14:19
Speaker 1: they're still suffering whatever sort of issues that they might
14:23
Speaker 1: be suffering due to the abuse. So I know when
14:27
Speaker 1: I speak, when I you know, talk about Virginia or
14:30
Speaker 1: Annie or you know, any of the girls, I mean
14:34
Speaker 1: every one of them, every one of them, you know,
14:39
Speaker 1: especially the ones who are unnamed who have not come
14:43
Speaker 1: forward to tell their story. And how many more are
14:47
Speaker 1: there that we don't even know about? I mean, according
14:52
Speaker 1: to accounts by some of the survivors, we're talking into
14:56
Speaker 1: the thousands folks of girls that were possibly abused by
15:01
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein in company. So it's a uh, it's pretty
15:08
Speaker 1: wild to think how many girls were involved in this
15:13
Speaker 1: and I'm talking about in Palm Beach alone, even these
15:16
Speaker 1: little high school girls. And that's why I think that
15:21
Speaker 1: the NPA, the non prosecution agreement down there, it's you know,
15:25
Speaker 1: I think it's one of the many reasons. But one
15:27
Speaker 1: of the key reasons is the whole entire thing has
15:31
Speaker 1: to be blown up, and what happened in that grand
15:34
Speaker 1: jury has to be known. And everybody who took part
15:38
Speaker 1: in making sure that Jeffrey Epstein was able to skirt
15:41
Speaker 1: out on this has to take responsibility for their part.
15:45
Speaker 1: And whatever sanctions or criminal penalties are coming their way,
15:50
Speaker 1: well they they need to start coming because what happened
15:54
Speaker 1: in Florida is a travesty. We're not talking We're talking
15:57
Speaker 1: about high school girls here, folks, hundred percent, not even
16:01
Speaker 1: a question, no debate, little girls from Palm Beach High School.
16:07
Speaker 1: A sweetheart deal was instead crafted in that case during
16:11
Speaker 1: a meeting by his lawyer and federal prosecutor Alex Acosta,
16:15
Speaker 1: which resulted in Epstein serving only thirteen months in a
16:19
Speaker 1: private wing of the Palm Beach County jail. Adding insult
16:23
Speaker 1: to injury, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department allowed Epstein
16:27
Speaker 1: to leave the jail from seven am to eleven pm
16:30
Speaker 1: in a work release program six days a week during
16:33
Speaker 1: the final ten months of his incarceration. So we all
16:39
Speaker 1: know how bad this is, we all know how gross
16:43
Speaker 1: this is, and we all know that none of us
16:46
Speaker 1: would ever be afforded the same rights. The fact that
16:52
Speaker 1: he was able to get out of this jail cell,
16:55
Speaker 1: even in the middle of the sweetheart deal he already had,
16:59
Speaker 1: is just an another step too far, and it's just
17:05
Speaker 1: brazen at this point how they're basically throwing it in
17:08
Speaker 1: the face of the survivors and the public that no
17:12
Speaker 1: matter what Jeffrey Epstein or somebody in his class of
17:16
Speaker 1: people do, there's not going to be any repercussions for them.
17:20
Speaker 1: So why should anybody in the future who would think
17:24
Speaker 1: about doing the same thing have second thoughts? If Epstein
17:27
Speaker 1: isn't punished harshly, if Maxwell isn't punished harshly. That's why
17:32
Speaker 1: it's very important to make sure that whatever the law
17:37
Speaker 1: dictates in regards to Maxwell going forward, as far as
17:40
Speaker 1: their crimes, that she has prosecuted to the fullest extent
17:44
Speaker 1: of the law. Acosta advanced the Secretary of the US
17:52
Speaker 1: Labor Department wait for it, the federal agency in charge
17:55
Speaker 1: of sex trafficking. Acosta resigned on Friday after a wide
18:00
Speaker 1: had METEA reports of his involvement in the Epstein case.
18:04
Speaker 1: And it was a bad look from the very beginning,
18:06
Speaker 1: Acosta being the head of the department. It is just
18:10
Speaker 1: I never understood why Trump would have all of these
18:16
Speaker 1: sort of people around him. It's just gross, it's bad leadership.
18:20
Speaker 1: It's just terrible all around. And then you add Dershowitz
18:25
Speaker 1: to the mix, and Steve Manuchin, I mean, how many
18:28
Speaker 1: fellow travelers. Another strong reason to keep Epstein in jail
18:35
Speaker 1: is under his plea deal in Florida, he is registered
18:38
Speaker 1: as a Level three sex offender in New York and
18:41
Speaker 1: his mansion is located just blocks from the Hewitt K
18:44
Speaker 1: Through twelve All Girls' school. Yep, there you go. That
18:47
Speaker 1: was plenty there for me. This dude, as a sex offender,
18:51
Speaker 1: should not be around any sort of school. In fact,
18:55
Speaker 1: he should have been buried underneath the prison like I
18:58
Speaker 1: always talk about. But since he wasn't, the least you
19:01
Speaker 1: could do is make sure that he's not around the school.
19:04
Speaker 1: Not like it would stop him, but at the very least,
19:07
Speaker 1: can we follow the rules that everybody else has to follow. Please.
19:13
Speaker 1: When authorities rated his Manhattan mansion in conjunction with his
19:17
Speaker 1: recent arrest, they found hundreds of pictures of naked young
19:20
Speaker 1: girls in a safe in his house, according to a
19:23
Speaker 1: statement from prosecutors, and I think that we'll see those pictures,
19:28
Speaker 1: not us the public, but during trial. Those pictures will
19:33
Speaker 1: probably be used to help them get their prosecution against
19:37
Speaker 1: Gilan Maxwell and others who were involved. And finally, prosecutors
19:45
Speaker 1: argued in a filing with the court on Friday that
19:48
Speaker 1: Epstein has paid two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and
19:51
Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars respectively to two potential co conspirators
19:56
Speaker 1: as recently as the past year, ostensibly to buy their silence.
20:02
Speaker 1: Epstein had multiple persons procuring underage women for him to abuse,
20:07
Speaker 1: including employees and others, according to multiple lawsuits against him.
20:12
Speaker 1: And last night in the live stream, we talked a
20:16
Speaker 1: little bit about this, about the bribe money, the hush money,
20:20
Speaker 1: the payoff money, and the silly ass salaries that the
20:24
Speaker 1: core four were drawing to be assistance. None of it
20:27
Speaker 1: made sense, and it's obvious that the money that was
20:30
Speaker 1: paid out to the two co conspirators during this whole
20:33
Speaker 1: entire time, one of them Vickers and the other one
20:37
Speaker 1: Leslie Groff. I believe is just absurd for anyone to think,
20:42
Speaker 1: what is this a bonus? Oh yeah, you know, I'm
20:44
Speaker 1: about to go to prison and I'm in My finances
20:47
Speaker 1: are under investigation and this, that and the other thing.
20:50
Speaker 1: But here's a few hundred grand for you guys to
20:52
Speaker 1: just you know, roll around. And doesn't make sense, not
20:55
Speaker 1: with Epstein. Remember who we're dealing with, this guy. You
21:00
Speaker 1: weren't going to divorce him from his money. Very cheap man,
21:04
Speaker 1: very cheap man. The public's right to know how Epstein
21:09
Speaker 1: made his money is essential to understanding just how much
21:13
Speaker 1: he has gone away with under the nose of the
21:16
Speaker 1: FBI and the US Department of just US and a
21:19
Speaker 1: full listing of just whom his co conspirators are. Powerful
21:25
Speaker 1: men flew on his private planes, one of which was
21:28
Speaker 1: called the Lolita Express, and stayed at his private mansions.
21:32
Speaker 1: Were they paying him to secure young women for them
21:35
Speaker 1: or getting him access to hot IPOs? The Miami Herald
21:39
Speaker 1: investigative reporter Julie K. Brown, who may have forced New
21:43
Speaker 1: York prosecutors into revisiting the case against Epstein through her
21:47
Speaker 1: in depth series of articles in November of last year,
21:51
Speaker 1: stated this recently on television, So it's definitely possible, right
21:56
Speaker 1: these guys that were hooking him up with the IPOs,
21:59
Speaker 1: were they on getting girls procured for them, possibly these
22:04
Speaker 1: unnamed girls from Eastern Europe, these girls without a voice.
22:08
Speaker 1: Who knows what they were subjected to while they were here.
22:12
Speaker 1: And while we have no reports from the survivors per
22:16
Speaker 1: se about you know, a guy like Jess Staley or
22:20
Speaker 1: Leon Black or any of these other people, at the
22:24
Speaker 1: end of the day, who the hell knows what really occurred.
22:27
Speaker 1: And that's why the investigation is so important. And that's
22:30
Speaker 1: why these people who have been subpoena or who might
22:33
Speaker 1: be involved, it's important that they come forward and speak
22:36
Speaker 1: to the authorities if they want to clear their name.
22:39
Speaker 1: If not, then they're just opening up the door for
22:43
Speaker 1: people to come to their own conclusions. According to the
22:47
Speaker 1: evidence that's available, we don't know how much how deep
22:53
Speaker 1: this went, how far reaching it went in government, but
22:56
Speaker 1: there have been a lot of names that I could
22:58
Speaker 1: see on these message pads listing clients on a regular
23:02
Speaker 1: basis as part of the evidence. These message pads were
23:07
Speaker 1: where they would call and leave Epstein messages such as,
23:11
Speaker 1: I'm at this hotel. Why do you do that unless
23:14
Speaker 1: you're expecting him to send you a girl to visit
23:16
Speaker 1: you at your hotel. So there are probably quite a
23:19
Speaker 1: few important people, powerful people who are sweating it out.
23:23
Speaker 1: Right now, we'll have to wait and see whether Epstein
23:26
Speaker 1: is going to name names. And it's kind of chilling
23:30
Speaker 1: to look back at that, right, That's what everybody was
23:32
Speaker 1: waiting for. Everybody was on the edge of their seat
23:35
Speaker 1: waiting for Epstein to name some names. But before that
23:42
Speaker 1: could happen, Jeffrey Epstein died in the custody of the
23:45
Speaker 1: federal government. And if you're a trusting person and you
23:50
Speaker 1: believe what Darth Barr has to say, well it was
23:53
Speaker 1: just a simple case of suicide, folks. Meanwhile, you got
23:58
Speaker 1: Julie K. Brown here, even Julie K. Brown mainstream media herself,
24:04
Speaker 1: talking about how far this could reach in the government
24:07
Speaker 1: and the names on the message pads, and how people
24:09
Speaker 1: are sweating it out. You know, I'm certainly not a
24:12
Speaker 1: genius or anything, but two plus two equals four to me,
24:19
Speaker 1: or Epstein may have been like Bernie Madoff making money
24:22
Speaker 1: through numerous illegal activities, including a Ponzi scheme. See JP.
24:27
Speaker 1: Morgan and Madoff were facilitating Nesting Doll style frauds. Within frauds,
24:32
Speaker 1: it's a hyperlink within this article, and you can definitely
24:35
Speaker 1: click on it if you're more interesting, if you're interested
24:37
Speaker 1: in finding out more about that, you can definitely click
24:40
Speaker 1: there and do that. According to an AFID David filed
24:45
Speaker 1: in court by Epstein's former business partner Steven Hoffenberg of
24:48
Speaker 1: Towers Financial, Epstein's early wealth derives from a Ponzi scheme
24:53
Speaker 1: that put Hoffenberg behind bars for twenty years. And I'm
24:58
Speaker 1: not going to rehash that. Everyone's pretty familiar with Steve
25:02
Speaker 1: Hoffenberg's story and his situation with Epstein, and it's not
25:06
Speaker 1: even a question for me how Epstein was getting his money.
25:11
Speaker 1: We know it was due to illegal activity, and I
25:14
Speaker 1: would guess I don't have evidence of this, but I
25:17
Speaker 1: would guess that he was afforded protection from the FBI
25:21
Speaker 1: and the CIA or whoever if he would help them
25:25
Speaker 1: by ratting on other people in this industry. And if
25:28
Speaker 1: you think he's above ratting on people, you're mistaken. He
25:31
Speaker 1: was an information broker, right, and he would sell that
25:34
Speaker 1: information or trade it at a moment's notice. If Epstein
25:42
Speaker 1: was a hedgefunge manager, it was a big secret to
25:45
Speaker 1: other well known hedgefunge managers on Wall Street. Doug Cass,
25:49
Speaker 1: who has his ear very close to this street and
25:52
Speaker 1: has managed money on Wall Street for decades, told New
25:55
Speaker 1: York Magazine last week, I went to my institutional brokers,
25:59
Speaker 1: to their trade des and I asked if they ever
26:01
Speaker 1: traded with him. I did it a few times. Until
26:04
Speaker 1: the date when he was arrested, not one institutional trading desk,
26:09
Speaker 1: primary or secondary had ever traded with Epstein's firm. And
26:14
Speaker 1: that is damning, very damning, folks. I've heard this from
26:20
Speaker 1: a lot of insiders within Wall Street, a lot of
26:22
Speaker 1: people who work in the sector, and a lot of
26:25
Speaker 1: people who laugh out loud when people try and posit
26:30
Speaker 1: Epstein as this great financier, this Wall Street guru, genius,
26:35
Speaker 1: because it just doesn't fit with the real facts on
26:38
Speaker 1: the ground. But there is some anecdotal evidence that Epstein
26:44
Speaker 1: may have been trading. In the twenty sixteen nonfiction book
26:48
Speaker 1: Filthy Rich, a Powerful Billionaire The Sex Scandal that undid
26:53
Speaker 1: him and all the justice that money can buy. The
26:57
Speaker 1: Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein by J. James Patterson,
27:00
Speaker 1: John Connolly and contributor Tim molloy. There is a reference
27:04
Speaker 1: to one of the planes when when then owned by Epstein,
27:08
Speaker 1: a Boeing seven twenty seven, that the writers say was
27:11
Speaker 1: customized with its own trading floor. Yeah. No, he was
27:15
Speaker 1: doing trading. There's no doubt. He definitely was playing the
27:19
Speaker 1: market and you know, dipping his toes. But he was
27:24
Speaker 1: no guru, right, he wasn't some super intelligent financier whiz
27:31
Speaker 1: that was so smart that Leon Black and Les Wexner
27:36
Speaker 1: had to seek out his help or one of the Johnson's.
27:39
Speaker 1: Stop it all right, just stop it with that nonsense.
27:42
Speaker 1: No one's buying that. So we did some digging into
27:47
Speaker 1: one of the few financial documents involving Epstein that are
27:51
Speaker 1: not under seal, a federal nine ninety tax filing for
27:54
Speaker 1: his nonprofit called wait for it, Gratitude America. The last
28:00
Speaker 1: of that document lists dozens of publicly traded stocks that
28:03
Speaker 1: were held in the portfolio, the majority of which were
28:06
Speaker 1: bought and sold on the same day. In the lingo
28:10
Speaker 1: of Wall Street, Trade of Wall Street that's called day trading,
28:14
Speaker 1: and it is virtually unheard of in an investment portfolio
28:18
Speaker 1: for a taxpayer subsidized nonprofit charity. So what they're basically
28:24
Speaker 1: saying here is that this is obviously bupkis, this is
28:27
Speaker 1: obviously bs and that it is virtually unheard of for
28:33
Speaker 1: something like this to be part of the portfolio of
28:36
Speaker 1: a nonprofit. So what was Epstein really doing with Gratitude America.
28:44
Speaker 1: There are some modest losses among the day traded stocks,
28:47
Speaker 1: but there are also some eye popping gains on IPO
28:50
Speaker 1: offerings that spiked on their first day of trading. The
28:54
Speaker 1: average American can't get their hands on one hundred shares
28:57
Speaker 1: of a hot IPO stock, let alone in the quantity
29:00
Speaker 1: is that Epstein's ledger suggests he secured. No shit, we're
29:04
Speaker 1: not playing the game. We're not part of the game.
29:10
Speaker 1: That two tiered justice system is also the two tiered
29:14
Speaker 1: system of life that these people live on. And I
29:17
Speaker 1: said it earlier and I'll say it again, nobody's calling
29:21
Speaker 1: you from the bank offering you a hot IPO. That
29:24
Speaker 1: shit ain't happening, Okay, But if you're Jeffrey Epstein, the
29:27
Speaker 1: child abuser, the child of a molester, the sex trafficker,
29:30
Speaker 1: the human trafficker, the money launderer, the general all around scuzbag,
29:34
Speaker 1: and companion to the bipedal serpent. It is game on folks.
29:43
Speaker 1: For example, on October eighteenth, twenty seventeen, the game Loss
29:48
Speaker 1: ledger shows that someone representing the charity bought and sold
29:52
Speaker 1: two two and a half million lots for a total
29:56
Speaker 1: of five million shares of a Chinese company called Quitian Incorporated,
30:01
Speaker 1: which trades as an ADR American Depository receipt on the
30:06
Speaker 1: New York Stock Exchange Quadion went public at twenty four
30:12
Speaker 1: dollars a share on the exact same date that Epstein
30:14
Speaker 1: shows that he both bought and sold the stock, flipping
30:18
Speaker 1: a hot ipo, as it is known in the trade.
30:21
Speaker 1: Epstein's charity made a gain of thirty five thousand, six
30:25
Speaker 1: hundred and eighty nine dollars on the two lots, but
30:28
Speaker 1: the dollar amounts listed as to what he paid and
30:30
Speaker 1: what he sold the shares for indicate that the charity
30:34
Speaker 1: held just two lots of twenty five hundred each, or
30:37
Speaker 1: a total of five thousand shares, not the five million
30:41
Speaker 1: shares listed under the quantity column of the ledger, so
30:45
Speaker 1: they were cooking the books, both shitting around quite obvious.
30:48
Speaker 1: What was going on and what you think it was
30:50
Speaker 1: just Epstein doing this? I bet you dollars to donuts
30:54
Speaker 1: that mister Endike was involved. I don't have the evidence
30:59
Speaker 1: to approve that, but my guess would be that the
31:03
Speaker 1: in house lawyer would be very much involved in something
31:06
Speaker 1: like this. All other dollar amounts for other stock trades
31:11
Speaker 1: indicate the same thing. That three extra zeros have been
31:14
Speaker 1: added under the quantity column. We don't know if this
31:17
Speaker 1: is an error in the quantity column or if Epstein
31:20
Speaker 1: was able to actually secure vast amounts of hot IPOs
31:24
Speaker 1: and simply allocated a portion of the profits to his charity.
31:29
Speaker 1: We can say this, getting any sizeable quantity of a
31:33
Speaker 1: hot ipo means you have some powerful friends somewhere with
31:37
Speaker 1: powerful connections to Wall Street. Yeah, that is definitely the case.
31:42
Speaker 1: That's why we're doing this article today. That's why we're
31:46
Speaker 1: talking about this again. I want to drive home the
31:48
Speaker 1: point that these IPOs are not something that's offered to everybody.
31:53
Speaker 1: It's not me and you who are getting this, not
31:55
Speaker 1: your uncle Joe, not even your rich friend John. Nobody's
31:59
Speaker 1: getting this unless you're locked in and your friends, I
32:02
Speaker 1: mean really friends with the movers and the shakers on
32:06
Speaker 1: Wall Street. A sampling of other hot IPOs shown on
32:11
Speaker 1: his charity's gain loss ledger include Roku, the streaming video
32:15
Speaker 1: company that went public on September twenty eighth, twenty seventeen.
32:21
Speaker 1: Epstein acquired it at its initial listing price of fourteen
32:24
Speaker 1: dollars a share and flipped it the next day at
32:27
Speaker 1: approximately twenty six dollars and thirty three cents a share.
32:31
Speaker 1: It's not clear if trading commissions have been subtracted from
32:34
Speaker 1: the sales proceeds. That's an eighty eight percent gain for
32:38
Speaker 1: less than a twenty four hour holding period. Now. I
32:41
Speaker 1: know that's a lot for people who aren't really into
32:44
Speaker 1: the stock market, that don't really understand day trading and
32:47
Speaker 1: stuff like that. But if you're getting an eighty eight
32:50
Speaker 1: percent return on your trades, you are killing it and
32:54
Speaker 1: you're setting yourself up to have a lot of money
32:56
Speaker 1: in the long run. But this guy, Jeffrey Epstein, and
33:01
Speaker 1: the way he was getting these IPOs, it's not because
33:04
Speaker 1: he's some great financier. There was some sort of quid
33:08
Speaker 1: pro quo going on here. I do for you you
33:11
Speaker 1: do for me, and we all get rich and laugh
33:14
Speaker 1: at everybody else. That's what's going on here, in my opinion.
33:20
Speaker 1: Another IPO obtained was the email marketing company Sendrid, which
33:25
Speaker 1: he flipped on the first day of trading in November
33:27
Speaker 1: fifteenth of twenty seventeen, for a gain of thirteen point
33:31
Speaker 1: eight percent in one day. So again, these are huge gains,
33:36
Speaker 1: not the eighty eight percent. But if you can get
33:38
Speaker 1: thirteen percent on your investment and you're investing big money, folks,
33:43
Speaker 1: that's that's a big clip and you're going to make things.
33:47
Speaker 1: You're going to be very profitable if you're reaping those
33:50
Speaker 1: kind of rewards. The charity's game loss ledger shows that
33:55
Speaker 1: in dollar terms, his largest profit came from a position
33:59
Speaker 1: in ten Cent Holdings, the Chinese internet company. He bought
34:03
Speaker 1: his position on two dates in twenty and sixteen, and
34:07
Speaker 1: sold both lots on August fourteenth, twenty seventeen, for a
34:12
Speaker 1: gain of six hundred and ninety three thousand, four hundred
34:15
Speaker 1: and twelve dollars. In a little over a year's time,
34:19
Speaker 1: we'll be reaching out to the accounting firm that filed
34:21
Speaker 1: his tax return to inquire why the quantity column for
34:24
Speaker 1: the shares of stock shows three extra zeros versus the
34:28
Speaker 1: dollar amounts realized in the purchase and sales columns. So
34:34
Speaker 1: this gives you just a little bit more of a look, folks,
34:37
Speaker 1: at how Epstein was conducting himself, at how he was
34:41
Speaker 1: conducting at the very least a portion of his business.
34:44
Speaker 1: And he was getting these IPOs he was they were hot,
34:48
Speaker 1: they were guaranteed, they were underwritten by the institutions, and
34:53
Speaker 1: he was burning them for huge profits. At eighty eight
34:56
Speaker 1: percent of clip or in just over a year a
34:59
Speaker 1: six hundred you're at ninety three thousand plus some change profit.
35:05
Speaker 1: Not a bad year's work if you can get it, huh.
35:07
Speaker 1: Not a bad year's work with your passive money making
35:11
Speaker 1: money for you. The only problem is they were doing
35:17
Speaker 1: this business with a convicted sex offender and one of
35:22
Speaker 1: the scummiest people in the country, maybe in the whole
35:25
Speaker 1: world in fact. And now that the doors are blown
35:31
Speaker 1: off of all of this, Jeffrey Epstein's gone and dead,
35:35
Speaker 1: But these institutions still remain, and folks, it's about time
35:41
Speaker 1: they start answering some questions. If you'd like to contact me,
35:45
Speaker 1: you can do that at Bobby Kapuchi at ProtonMail dot com.
35:48
Speaker 1: That's bo Bby c ap Ucci at ProtonMail dot com.
35:55
Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at bo bby
35:58
Speaker 1: underscore cap Ceci. All of the links that go with
36:03
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box. All right, folks,
36:08
Speaker 1: what's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
36:11
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. A lot of people like to pretend that
36:15
Speaker 1: the Epstein story just fell out of the sky, like
36:18
Speaker 1: one day everyone woke up and suddenly realized Epstein wasn't
36:21
Speaker 1: just a rich creep with a jet and a guest list,
36:24
Speaker 1: but something far darker and far more entrenched. That collective
36:29
Speaker 1: amnesia is convenient because it lets a lot of people
36:32
Speaker 1: off the hook. It lets institutions act surprised, It lets
36:35
Speaker 1: media outlets posture as late arriving heroes instead of early enablers.
36:40
Speaker 1: And it lets the same voices who mocked this story
36:43
Speaker 1: for years now act like they discovered it on their own.
36:47
Speaker 1: What's happening right now is in revelation. It's reputation management.
36:52
Speaker 1: The tone has changed, sure, but the framing is still careful,
36:55
Speaker 1: still polite, still boxed in. We're getting long essays about
37:00
Speaker 1: money connections careers origins. We're getting safe questions with safe answers.
37:05
Speaker 1: What we're not getting is the one question that makes
37:07
Speaker 1: everyone uncomfortable. How did this man keep surviving things that
37:11
Speaker 1: should have destroyed him? Not once, not twice, but over
37:15
Speaker 1: and over again, across decades, jurisdictions and scandals. Now, some
37:20
Speaker 1: might want to call that a coincidence. Me, I see
37:23
Speaker 1: a pattern. Epstein didn't just slip through the cracks. The
37:26
Speaker 1: cracks don't work like that. He walked through doors that
37:30
Speaker 1: should have been locked, guarded, and bolted shut. Every time
37:33
Speaker 1: consequence is loomed, they softened. Every time exposure threatened, it dissipated.
37:39
Speaker 1: Careers ended around them, but his never did. Investigations stalled,
37:43
Speaker 1: but his lifestyle never changed. That kind of consistency doesn't
37:47
Speaker 1: come from charm or luck. It comes from something structural,
37:51
Speaker 1: something systemic, something people are still afraid to name out loud.
37:56
Speaker 1: And that's why the current wave of coverage feels both
37:59
Speaker 1: overdue and incomplete. You can write ten thousand words about
38:03
Speaker 1: where someone worked, who they knew, or how their money moved,
38:06
Speaker 1: and still missed the point entirely, because the real story
38:09
Speaker 1: isn't how he rose, it's how he was allowed to
38:12
Speaker 1: stay standing. It's how the rules bent without breaking. It's
38:16
Speaker 1: how alarms rang without anyone responding until we start asking
38:20
Speaker 1: why that kept happening. We're not investigating history, we're just
38:24
Speaker 1: curating it. So enjoy the sudden interest. Enjoy the glossy
38:28
Speaker 1: retrospectives and recycled timelines. Just understand this. If the conversation
38:33
Speaker 1: never crosses from how did he make it? Till why
38:36
Speaker 1: did he survive it, then we're still being fed a
38:39
Speaker 1: version of the story designed to protect someone. And if
38:42
Speaker 1: there's one lesson Jeffrey Epstein taught us, it's that protection.
38:46
Speaker 1: Real protection never happens by accident. And what you're watching
38:50
Speaker 1: now is not an awakening so much as a delayed reckoning.
38:54
Speaker 1: The people who once roll their eyes at the Epstein
38:56
Speaker 1: story are suddenly acting like they've stumbled onto bury treasure,
39:00
Speaker 1: when in reality they've arrived at a crime scene that's
39:03
Speaker 1: been taped off for decades. The shift didn't come from
39:06
Speaker 1: courage or curiosity. It came from pressure and embarrassment. When
39:10
Speaker 1: the story refused to die, when survivors kept speaking, and
39:14
Speaker 1: when documents kept leaking, legacy media finally realized silence was
39:18
Speaker 1: no longer an option. That doesn't mean they're telling the
39:21
Speaker 1: whole truth now, it means they're telling a version of
39:23
Speaker 1: it that feels safe enough to publish. And that distinction
39:27
Speaker 1: matters more than most people want to admit, because what's
39:30
Speaker 1: being presented is new. Reporting is often just recycled surface
39:34
Speaker 1: level material, stripped of its most dangerous implications, and The
39:39
Speaker 1: New York Times is a perfect example of this phenomenon.
39:42
Speaker 1: Suddenly we're getting long form features about Epstein's early career,
39:46
Speaker 1: his time around bear Stearns, and the mystery of his money.
39:49
Speaker 1: On its face, that sounds like progress. In reality, it's
39:53
Speaker 1: an exercise in historical laundering. These are stories that could
39:57
Speaker 1: have been written years ago, when Epstein was still alive
40:00
Speaker 1: and actively abusing girls. Instead, they arrive now, when the
40:03
Speaker 1: central figure is safely dead and incapable of contradicting anyone.
40:08
Speaker 1: That timing is not accidental. It's much easier to write
40:11
Speaker 1: boldly about a monster when the monster can no longer
40:14
Speaker 1: implicate anyone else. And it's even easier when the most
40:17
Speaker 1: explosive questions are politely left unasked. For years, people like
40:22
Speaker 1: you and me were told we were exaggerating, We were
40:25
Speaker 1: called conspiracy theorists for suggesting Epstein's crimes extended beyond individual
40:30
Speaker 1: depravity into institutional protection. The idea that powerful systems enabled
40:35
Speaker 1: them was dismissed as paranoid fantasy. Yet here we are
40:39
Speaker 1: watching those same outlets gingerly approach the edges of that
40:43
Speaker 1: very conclusion. The difference is they still refuse to name
40:47
Speaker 1: the mechanism. They'll describe the smoke endlessly, but they won't
40:51
Speaker 1: say who lit the fire. Instead, they fixate on money trails,
40:54
Speaker 1: social connections, and career antidotes. Those details matter, but they
40:58
Speaker 1: are not the core of the store, and the Barristern
41:01
Speaker 1: story is a perfect case study in misdirection. Yes, Epstein's
41:05
Speaker 1: exit from bar of Sterns is suspicious, Yes, it raises
41:08
Speaker 1: legitimate questions about how a college dropout with no formal
41:12
Speaker 1: credentials ended up managing money for billionaires. But focusing solely
41:16
Speaker 1: on that chapter, obscure is something far more important. Plenty
41:20
Speaker 1: of shady operators wash out of Wall Street under clouds
41:23
Speaker 1: of misconduct and never recover. Epstein didn't just recover, He ascended.
41:28
Speaker 1: He didn't disappear into obscurity or face lasting professional consequence.
41:33
Speaker 1: He landed on his feet every single time, often in
41:36
Speaker 1: weighs that defied logic and precedent. That pattern demands an
41:40
Speaker 1: explanation far beyond luck or charm, and this is where
41:44
Speaker 1: the mainstream narrative consistently collapses under its own weight. Journalists
41:49
Speaker 1: ask how Epstein made his money, but they rarely ask
41:52
Speaker 1: how he survived as scandals. They catalog as social network,
41:56
Speaker 1: but they don't interrogate why those connections never abandon them
41:59
Speaker 1: when red flags piled up. They marvel at his resilience
42:03
Speaker 1: without questioning what force might have been cushioning his falls.
42:07
Speaker 1: That omission is not accidental or benign. In journalism, what's
42:12
Speaker 1: not asked is more revealing than what is, and in
42:15
Speaker 1: Epstein's case, the unasked questions all point to the same
42:19
Speaker 1: uncomfortable direction. The central issue is not Epstein's financial genius,
42:25
Speaker 1: because there is little evidence he had any. It's not
42:28
Speaker 1: his social brilliance either, because plenty of social climbers are
42:32
Speaker 1: exposed and discarded once their utility fades. The real story
42:36
Speaker 1: is Epstein's immunity. Over and over again, he encountered situations
42:40
Speaker 1: that should have ended his freedom, his fortune, or at
42:43
Speaker 1: the very least his access to victims. Instead, consequence is dissolved, investigations, stalled,
42:50
Speaker 1: charges were softened, delayed, or quietly abandoned. That kind of
42:55
Speaker 1: consistency does not happen by accident. It happens when someone
42:59
Speaker 1: is deemed are valuable protected than prosecuted. This is where
43:03
Speaker 1: the allegation that Epstein functioned as a confidential informant becomes unavoidable,
43:08
Speaker 1: regardless of how uncomfortable it makes people. I'm not presenting
43:12
Speaker 1: this as a proven courtroom fact, because that bar has
43:15
Speaker 1: never been allowed to be tested. I'm presenting it as
43:18
Speaker 1: the most coherent explanation for a decade long pattern of
43:22
Speaker 1: inexplicable leniency. Law enforcement agencies routinely cultivate informants who are
43:28
Speaker 1: morally reprehensible because usefulness often outweighs ethics. Drug traffickers, arms dealers,
43:34
Speaker 1: money launderers, and traffickers themselves have all been protected at
43:38
Speaker 1: various times in exchange for information. That's not speculation, that's
43:43
Speaker 1: documented history. The idea that Epstein could have occupied such
43:47
Speaker 1: a role is not extraordinary. What would be extraordinary as
43:50
Speaker 1: pretending that the pattern doesn't fit. If Epstein was flipped early,
43:54
Speaker 1: many pieces suddenly fall into place. His ability to move
43:58
Speaker 1: freely across borders despite all gations, his repeated brushes with
44:02
Speaker 1: law enforcement that never seemed to stick, the remarkable deference
44:05
Speaker 1: shown to him by prosecutors in Florida, the reluctance of
44:08
Speaker 1: federal authorities to pursue them aggressively even when victims were
44:12
Speaker 1: begging to be heard. Informants are not treated like ordinary criminals.
44:16
Speaker 1: They're assets, and assets are managed, not destroyed. When you
44:21
Speaker 1: view Epstein through that lens, the story becomes grimly coherent.
44:26
Speaker 1: And of course, this also reframes the two thousand and
44:28
Speaker 1: eight non prosecution agreement in a far more disturbing light.
44:32
Speaker 1: That deal wasn't just lenient, it was aberrational. It protected
44:37
Speaker 1: unnamed co conspirators, concealed agreements from victims, and short circuited
44:41
Speaker 1: federal oversight. People often attribute this to a prosecutorial cowardice
44:46
Speaker 1: or a corruption, and those factors may have well played
44:49
Speaker 1: a role, but informant status provides a structural explanation for
44:53
Speaker 1: why so many safeguards were overridden. It explains why DOJ
44:57
Speaker 1: leadership signed off, It explains why the FBI I appear disengaged,
45:01
Speaker 1: and it explains why Epstein emerged from the scandal not diminished,
45:05
Speaker 1: but emboldened. After two thousand and eight, Epstein didn't retreat,
45:09
Speaker 1: He expanded. He continued abusing girls with apparent confidence that
45:13
Speaker 1: the system would not stop them. That confidence didn't come
45:17
Speaker 1: from arrogance alone. It came from experience. He had learned
45:21
Speaker 1: repeatedly that consequences did not apply to him the same
45:24
Speaker 1: way they applied to others. When someone behaves that brazenly,
45:29
Speaker 1: it's usually because past behavior has been rewarded, not punished.
45:33
Speaker 1: That's a psychological reality, not a conspiracy theory, and it's
45:37
Speaker 1: one that journalists still struggle to confront. Honestly, the media's
45:41
Speaker 1: fixation on Epstein's money conveniently avoids this reality money saved territory.
45:46
Speaker 1: You can trace accounts, speculate about shell companies, and analyze
45:50
Speaker 1: investments without challenging the legitimacy of federal institutions. But once
45:55
Speaker 1: you ask how Epstein survived criminal exposure, you're forced to
45:59
Speaker 1: examine law enforcement itself. You're forced to consider whether the
46:03
Speaker 1: FBI failed catastrophically or acted deliberately. Neither possibility reflects well
46:09
Speaker 1: on the institution. So instead we get endless articles about
46:13
Speaker 1: bear Stearns and billionaires as if wealth alone explains immunity,
46:17
Speaker 1: it doesn't look. It's also important to acknowledge the role
46:21
Speaker 1: of skepticism here, because skepticism was selectively applied. When survivors spoke,
46:27
Speaker 1: they were doubted. When independent researchers raise questions, they were mocked.
46:31
Speaker 1: When journalists outside of lead circles connected dots, they were ignored.
46:35
Speaker 1: But when legacy outlets finally approach the story, their skepticism evaporates.
46:40
Speaker 1: Their assumptions are treated as serious inquiry, even when they
46:44
Speaker 1: trail far behind what is already known. The double standard
46:48
Speaker 1: is not accidental. That shit's structural authority is granted based
46:52
Speaker 1: on platform, not accuracy. And for me, what's particularly galling
46:58
Speaker 1: is that Epstein operated in their backyard. Card New York
47:01
Speaker 1: was not some distant jurisdiction where oversight was difficult. He
47:04
Speaker 1: lived openly, hosted lavish gatherings, and moved in elite circles.
47:09
Speaker 1: His name circulated for years alongside rumors that were treated
47:13
Speaker 1: as impolite rather than urgent. That kind of wilful blindness
47:17
Speaker 1: doesn't happen without institutional permission. Journalists had access editors had leads.
47:23
Speaker 1: The silence was a choice, and choices have consequences, especially
47:29
Speaker 1: when they enable abuse. Now that the tone is changed,
47:33
Speaker 1: we're supposed to applaud the effort without questioning the delay.
47:36
Speaker 1: We're supposed to act grateful that the story is finally
47:39
Speaker 1: being taken seriously. But gratitude is not accountability. Lake coverage
47:43
Speaker 1: does not absolve earlier in neglect. If anything, it demands
47:47
Speaker 1: harder questions about why that neglect occurred. Was it fear
47:51
Speaker 1: of lawsuits, fear of powerful advertisers, fear of government sources
47:55
Speaker 1: drying up, or was it something more insidious, like why
48:00
Speaker 1: a pressure not to dig too deep? Those questions still
48:04
Speaker 1: haven't been answered. The informant question says at the center
48:08
Speaker 1: of all of this, like a live wire. It explains
48:11
Speaker 1: why the Epstein case feels unfinished even after his death.
48:14
Speaker 1: It explains why documents remain sealed or heavily redacted. It
48:18
Speaker 1: explains why agencies speaking careful have sentences instead of clear denials.
48:24
Speaker 1: And it explains why the narrative keeps circling the perimeter
48:27
Speaker 1: without entering the core. You don't need secret knowledge to
48:30
Speaker 1: see this, You just need pattern recognition and intellectual honesty. Unfortunately,
48:35
Speaker 1: honesty is often the first casualty when institutions protect themselves.
48:40
Speaker 1: Sometimes failure is functional, sometimes it serves a purpose, and
48:44
Speaker 1: sometimes that purpose is invisible, precisely because acknowledging it would
48:49
Speaker 1: shatter public trust. The tragedy, of course, is that survivors
48:52
Speaker 1: paid the price for this protection. Every year Epstein remained
48:56
Speaker 1: free was another year of abuse. Every delayed investigation was
49:00
Speaker 1: another stolen childhood. These aren't abstract policy failures, they're human costs.
49:05
Speaker 1: When media outlets dance around the real questions, they participate
49:08
Speaker 1: in minimizing that harm. Intent doesn't matter nearly as much
49:12
Speaker 1: as impact, and the impact has been decades of silence
49:16
Speaker 1: punctuated by bursts of bladed outrage. So when people ask
49:20
Speaker 1: me why they waited until now, the answer is painfully simple.
49:24
Speaker 1: They waited because they could. They waited because the risk
49:27
Speaker 1: of silence outweighed the risk of truth only recently. And
49:31
Speaker 1: they waited because confronting the full scope of Epstein's protection
49:35
Speaker 1: requires confronting institutions they still rely on, and until that changes,
49:40
Speaker 1: the story will remain incomplete no matter how many long
49:43
Speaker 1: features get published. The real scandal isn't where Epstein started,
49:47
Speaker 1: it's how he was allowed to continue again and again
49:50
Speaker 1: with help from those sworn to stop people like them.
