Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: All right, there you what to do.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We're back again, episode nine of The Grounded Show.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Certain we live again finally.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yes, sir man, It's been a little minute since we've
- 0:20Speaker 2: been able to get together like this, but hey man,
- 0:23Speaker 2: it was worth the way. We got a nice little
- 0:25Speaker 2: set up here, you know what I'm saying, different little vibes,
- 0:28Speaker 2: so you know, we.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Set it off right the for the we call a
- 0:32Speaker 3: new season. Yeah, fact, we're calling.
- 0:34Speaker 2: We definitely had like a like a reset recently, and
- 0:38Speaker 2: even like some of the stuff that we're gonna get
- 0:40Speaker 2: into on the episode, just different things that have been
- 0:43Speaker 2: happening in a dope way. So I'm definitely excited to
- 0:46Speaker 2: hit this next chapter of the show, especially with the
- 0:49Speaker 2: ideas that we got coming.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Man the shirt.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But yeah, man, we're gonna get right into it this
- 0:54Speaker 2: week because we've been gone too long, you hear me.
- 0:58Speaker 2: But the big news that everybody already knows everybody's kind
- 1:02Speaker 2: of been talking about already is h I mean, aside
- 1:05Speaker 2: from all the other crazy stuff going on, but the
- 1:07Speaker 2: big news right now hog Hogan.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's tough because you know, he had that
- 1:14Speaker 3: controversy controversy, uh, you know, he had his racial remarks,
- 1:18Speaker 3: but you still gotta admire that the legend he was
- 1:22Speaker 3: in the ring and a way he brought to the
- 1:23Speaker 3: to the wrestling industry and the tamer industry. You know,
- 1:27Speaker 3: you hear all these dedications. He was literally internationally known
- 1:33Speaker 3: the first wrestler all around the world. He was one
- 1:36Speaker 3: of the biggest stars in general outside of wrestling, uh
- 1:39Speaker 3: when he came out, and you got to give it respect,
- 1:42Speaker 3: respects due outside of the negativity, he was a legend.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we're definitely gonna get into both sides of it, AO,
- 1:51Speaker 2: But kind of starting with what you just said there
- 1:54Speaker 2: some about Hok Hogan that I mentioned in the chat
- 1:56Speaker 2: when it kind of first happened was Hog Hogan is
- 2:00Speaker 2: one of them people that nobody is gonna be able
- 2:03Speaker 2: to experience the type of fame that Hulk Hogan had
- 2:06Speaker 2: because people don't understand it now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: With the viral videos and all that.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I mean, somebody you know, going to the corner to
- 2:14Speaker 2: get their mail could have millions of views and everybody
- 2:17Speaker 2: could recognize him nowadays, right, But with Hogan bro he
- 2:22Speaker 2: was known around the world and people literally paid and
- 2:27Speaker 2: rent in thousands to see him.
- 2:30Speaker 3: And it wasn't just young kids. It was adults like.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Bro, it was a whole special of people, Like.
- 2:35Speaker 3: It was grown ass people wanting to see this guy
- 2:38Speaker 3: in person. They paid whatever the money was back then,
- 2:41Speaker 3: go to the events like this guy drew an audience
- 2:45Speaker 3: like no other.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's something that's a lot different and nowadays,
- 2:49Speaker 2: because now you can make a whole bunch of money
- 2:51Speaker 2: from your house.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Me as an artist, I don't necessarily have to tour.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't have to do these certain things. If I
- 2:58Speaker 2: try to attack my music a certain way, I can
- 3:01Speaker 2: survive without that. Back then, that was the only option.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You ain't had no other options. And just to think
- 3:08Speaker 2: that this dude was so famous, how he was, and
- 3:12Speaker 2: like we talked about, he wasn't seen like that even
- 3:15Speaker 2: in wrestling, Like if you're a wrestling fan, you watch
- 3:18Speaker 2: the regular shows every day. Back in the day, you
- 3:22Speaker 2: wasn't seeing Hulk Hogan wrestling on TV.
- 3:24Speaker 1: He was.
- 3:25Speaker 2: You might have seen an appearance, he might have came
- 3:26Speaker 2: out and talked for a few minutes, but you had
- 3:29Speaker 2: to either pay for the pay per view or pull
- 3:31Speaker 2: up to see him.
- 3:32Speaker 3: It wasn't circuit television like it is.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Now, Bro, and he was getting everybody to buy in
- 3:39Speaker 2: and watch his stuff. Now, one of the arguments people
- 3:43Speaker 2: say about wrestling is like to play Devil's Advocate, is
- 3:47Speaker 2: this is at a time when it wasn't that much
- 3:48Speaker 2: entertainment kind of like we're speaking of even the TV
- 3:51Speaker 2: had only a couple of channels, like you might have
- 3:53Speaker 2: had ten channels on.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Your whole TV.
- 3:55Speaker 2: So if wrestling is one of them, it's almost like, yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 2: it's almost like by default is gonna be what you're
- 4:01Speaker 2: gonna watch, because you're not gonna watch the news or
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know, Old person show or whatever. If you're a kid,
- 4:06Speaker 2: you're gonna watch the wrestling. So it was definitely that
- 4:09Speaker 2: aspect of it. But at the same time, Bro, the
- 4:12Speaker 2: way this dude from the eighties, Bro, this dude has
- 4:16Speaker 2: been a world wide I come from the eighties.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Until he started he started in the seventies.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, man, but it's insane, Like his run was so
- 4:24Speaker 2: crazy and it was like when I say the eighties,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I mean like that's when he was on top, Like
- 4:30Speaker 2: that's when.
- 4:30Speaker 1: He was hoh hogan holk oh.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 4:33Speaker 2: To go from American you know eighty two or whatever
- 4:36Speaker 2: it was to twenty twenty five where you're still like
- 4:40Speaker 2: one of the most famous people in the world.
- 4:42Speaker 1: You still a draw, you still got name value. Bro.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's insane.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And like we talked about Sina's He'll Turn, you know,
- 4:50Speaker 3: a few episodes ago, and what do we compare.
- 4:52Speaker 1: It to the whole Cogan Hill?
- 4:54Speaker 3: The whole Cogan Hill Turn, like he said, the standards
- 4:57Speaker 3: for how to get that pop and red and how
- 5:01Speaker 3: to get the crowd into you even when you're late
- 5:03Speaker 3: in your career, just like Sina is. You think, you know,
- 5:07Speaker 3: he's passed his prime. There's nothing he can do now
- 5:10Speaker 3: to entertain the crowd. Hogan found that way seeing the
- 5:14Speaker 3: follow that brueprint no facts.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And the thing about Hogan that I realized in his
- 5:19Speaker 2: passing is I'm not a big Hulk Hogan fan. Like
- 5:24Speaker 2: just watching him as a wrestler in the ring, you know,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I like more the attitude, the edge hok Hogan was
- 5:30Speaker 2: very long, but the Hollywood when he joined the nWo, yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I definitely was. That's when I became like a big
- 5:37Speaker 2: because I can say he was before my time.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I was not too much for my time. I'm not
- 5:40Speaker 3: that young, but when he became Hollywood Hogan and he
- 5:44Speaker 3: came out with a throng, like we used to do
- 5:48Speaker 3: that ship.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And schvitalize his career.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but like we used to mimic him just coming
- 5:53Speaker 3: out just playing the guitar on the championship belt with
- 5:57Speaker 3: the nWo tagged on it, Like that's legendary. I can't
- 6:01Speaker 3: think of a wrestler now who has something like that
- 6:03Speaker 3: with that longevity that still lasted his day.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it was insane, Bro, The room was crazy. And
- 6:09Speaker 2: what I wanted to kind of tie it up with
- 6:12Speaker 2: is like, as far as this part of Holk Hogan is,
- 6:16Speaker 2: Hogan was the guy that, even if he wasn't your guy,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you were even able to have a guy because of Hogan.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Because even talking about the nWo, Bro, there's nobody's watching
- 6:26Speaker 2: WCW if Hok Hogan.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Doesn't turn at all.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And become a bad guy with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash,
- 6:31Speaker 2: like that was the only reason you was tuning in
- 6:34Speaker 2: the sea sting to see gold Bird like all these people,
- 6:37Speaker 2: if they were just there on their own, you would
- 6:39Speaker 2: have been like, okay, whatever, that's cool. But because Hogan
- 6:43Speaker 2: was there doing what he was doing in the buzz
- 6:44Speaker 2: that it created, it like opened that lane, like for
- 6:47Speaker 2: people to like the people in WCW.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Really like give the business a boom.
- 6:53Speaker 2: So it's like Holk Cogan is the guy that came
- 6:55Speaker 2: along at the right time, but took the business to
- 6:57Speaker 2: a place that like, if he didn't come along, Oh yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 2: wrestling might have still been like a circus type thing.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And I want to give another shout out because despite
- 7:07Speaker 3: their relationship between you know, Hogan and Machom and Randy
- 7:11Speaker 3: Savage rip both of them, for Savage to agree be
- 7:16Speaker 3: a man Hogan, you know what I'm saying, No, but
- 7:18Speaker 3: for Savage agree oh yeah, Yo. Randy Savage came out
- 7:22Speaker 3: with a rap album. I don't think a lot of
- 7:23Speaker 3: people know he has an actual rap album.
- 7:25Speaker 1: The whole album bro. Yeah, and he got to Hogan
- 7:28Speaker 1: this on. Yeah, I got to check that out.
- 7:30Speaker 3: But that's what I'm saying. A midst of all that,
- 7:32Speaker 3: for him to agree to be the person that Hulk
- 7:35Speaker 3: as is he'll turn against and take that left drop
- 7:38Speaker 3: and sell it. He knew how big that moment was
- 7:42Speaker 3: going to be and how it would revitalize what they
- 7:45Speaker 3: were doing at that time.
- 7:46Speaker 1: He knew.
- 7:47Speaker 3: He's like, oh this, I'll take that leg drop.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Somebody had a hot take this week. Oh man.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I want to say it was Peter Rosenberg, but he
- 7:57Speaker 2: said something kind of like you only really cared about
- 8:00Speaker 2: Macho Man because of Hogan.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Oh nah, I was a Macho Man fan just because
- 8:07Speaker 3: he he lived that persona.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Facts I felt said to him, like, yeah, Hogan definitely
- 8:14Speaker 2: elevated Macho Man. Oh yeah, for sure because of the
- 8:16Speaker 2: star power like they're talking about.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But Macho Man was was his own thing in his
- 8:20Speaker 1: own right, bro.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Once he he shined on his own. He was a
- 8:25Speaker 3: macho Man with like those those outfits and the entrance
- 8:28Speaker 3: and the way, like the way he talked. Like people
- 8:31Speaker 3: still talking like that to this day.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Literally, people that don't even know who Macho Man is.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Cream the crap, yo.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Everybody got that macho voice, you know what I'm saying, MACHOs.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Man, like you said, rest in peace Macho Man too. Man.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It's crazy both of them gone now. Like it's like
- 8:46Speaker 2: a lot of people had that moment like Dan, like
- 8:48Speaker 2: the pieces of their childhood gone, you know what I mean.
- 8:51Speaker 2: But to get into the other side of it, obviously
- 8:56Speaker 2: there's been a lot of discourse about Hogan with like
- 8:59Speaker 2: the thing that he's done in his past, the things
- 9:01Speaker 2: he said, more than anything, I feel like the consensuses
- 9:06Speaker 2: people wasn't necessary. I mean they was mad about what
- 9:09Speaker 2: he said, for sure, But I think the thing that
- 9:12Speaker 2: really got to people was the fact that they didn't
- 9:14Speaker 2: never feel like he really was like really sorry about it.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you know they had any remotion for it.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Like he had a couple like good Morning America apologies,
- 9:24Speaker 2: which is like, bro, that's the default apology. And then
- 9:28Speaker 2: the one that they talk about a lot is he
- 9:30Speaker 2: went to the WWE locker room after it all happened,
- 9:34Speaker 2: like a few years later, because he was like shunned,
- 9:36Speaker 2: like he got fired from WWE, Like he wasn't there
- 9:39Speaker 2: for a while. When they finally brought him back years later.
- 9:43Speaker 2: First thing that happened was they had like a wrestler's
- 9:46Speaker 2: only meeting, and from everybody that has talked about it,
- 9:49Speaker 2: they said, basically the gist of his meeting was.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Watch out for the camera's brother. Yea. You know, don't
- 9:56Speaker 1: get caught up talking like bruh.
- 9:59Speaker 3: First of all, that's not what it's about.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Man up, bro, You know what I'm saying, first of all,
- 10:03Speaker 2: come in here and say, man, what I said. You know,
- 10:06Speaker 2: I'm embarrassed that I said it. You know what I'm saying.
- 10:08Speaker 2: It's definitely made me reflect. It's something I'm never gonna
- 10:10Speaker 2: do again, whatever the case is. Like, and people that
- 10:13Speaker 2: haven't checked out, like cause I hear another thing too,
- 10:16Speaker 2: where a lot of people have a strong opinion of like, oh,
- 10:19Speaker 2: nobody's gonna let nobody live and down this man just died.
- 10:22Speaker 2: This isn't that bruh. He didn't say like regular racist things.
- 10:27Speaker 2: He didn't just call someone the N word and that
- 10:29Speaker 2: said like go read the transcripts or listen to what
- 10:32Speaker 2: he said, like dude, dude says some super hatreds stuff
- 10:37Speaker 2: Like he even went as far as saying, like he
- 10:40Speaker 2: wishes somebody would reincarnate as a black person so they
- 10:44Speaker 2: can really be punished. Like bro, now say something like
- 10:48Speaker 2: that dog, that's not a mistake that you're just.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Exactly He definitely said some wild stuff.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's like you have to be able to
- 10:58Speaker 2: understand why people will feel the way they feel about that.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I don't blame him. Didn't he come into the last
- 11:03Speaker 3: WrestleMania or what was it. It was the Hall of
- 11:05Speaker 3: Fame of wrestlemaning and.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Everybody the Raw day Blue debut on.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah yeah they blue yo, yeah yeah, but no, but
- 11:14Speaker 3: everybody booed the hell out of him. Nobody wanted to
- 11:16Speaker 3: see him.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Because they already you know, he's coming to to sell
- 11:21Speaker 2: his beer, you know, the real American beer, real American beer,
- 11:26Speaker 2: and these were your past coming. It's like it's a
- 11:28Speaker 2: bad look all the way around, and everybody just booted
- 11:31Speaker 2: the man. And people are saying, man, that's crazy that
- 11:34Speaker 2: his last appearance the fans turned on like that.
- 11:37Speaker 1: He turned on himself.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yeah, he put that on himself.
- 11:39Speaker 1: He had a real life he'll turn bro Like for.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Him, that's a great quote for him to say what
- 11:45Speaker 3: he said, real life hell.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And then what he did after that, Bro, it was
- 11:48Speaker 1: like people was just dombing. He never made up for it,
- 11:51Speaker 1: never never had.
- 11:53Speaker 3: You can't. Yeah, you can't blame the fans for that.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Facts. So it is definitely a thing that that's loaded.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And honestly, the end of the day, like you understand
- 12:02Speaker 2: both sides, bro, you understand both. I've seen people getting
- 12:04Speaker 2: in trouble on on TikTok and stuff because they started
- 12:07Speaker 2: getting into it on their.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Streams, on their podcasts and stuff, and.
- 12:12Speaker 2: People just stepping out of line with the stuff they say.
- 12:14Speaker 2: You know what I mean, There's this one dude, I
- 12:17Speaker 2: don't know who he is, some influencer dude, and he
- 12:22Speaker 2: he was like, yo, all the all the people that
- 12:26Speaker 2: turn their back on whole Cogan, all the colored people
- 12:29Speaker 2: and colored athletes that aren't posting him.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Now, y'all him an apology and stuff like.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Bro, what was that about? You know what I'm saying, Like, no,
- 12:37Speaker 3: I'll tell you or not. My wife doesn't watch wrestling,
- 12:40Speaker 3: but she knows the news. So I was watching like
- 12:43Speaker 3: the tribute to Hogan. She's like, why are you watching that?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Nobody cares about him? And I was like, I get it.
- 12:49Speaker 3: You heard that side, huh. I was like, you hear
- 12:51Speaker 3: that about? I don't blame her. That's she doesn't watch wrestling.
- 12:54Speaker 3: She is no his legacy. That's the side she knows,
- 12:57Speaker 3: and that's enough for her to not give it about.
- 13:00Speaker 2: It, especially when you like see the overview on social media.
- 13:03Speaker 2: It's like you said, everybody's like, bro, like literally some
- 13:07Speaker 2: people are talking about this man Like I'm not gonna
- 13:11Speaker 2: talk bad about him in the sense of like drag him,
- 13:14Speaker 2: drag him.
- 13:14Speaker 1: That he's dead. Oh this isn't that whatever. It's like, bruh.
- 13:19Speaker 2: We know there's people that think like that and talk
- 13:21Speaker 2: like that and act like that, and at the end
- 13:23Speaker 2: of the day you can separate it and realize what
- 13:26Speaker 2: he meant to the wrestling business.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But it don't mean you think dude was like your grandpa.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Oh no, not at all.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And it's like people don't know how to differentiate. And
- 13:34Speaker 2: that's that's the thing that makes sometimes some of the stuff,
- 13:39Speaker 2: like when you're just talking sensible and makes it like
- 13:41Speaker 2: kind of boring because you can see both sides. But
- 13:44Speaker 2: it's at the end of the day, like that's how
- 13:46Speaker 2: things are for real, bro, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:48Speaker 1: You know.
- 13:48Speaker 3: And it kind of ties back to all the conversations
- 13:50Speaker 3: we have about artists r Kelly Diddy, Chris Brown. Can
- 13:54Speaker 3: you take the artists away from the problems and just
- 13:56Speaker 3: admire their music? Can you take Hogan away from his problems,
- 14:00Speaker 3: Samari the legacy he had in the ring. A lot
- 14:03Speaker 3: of people can't. They just can't do that, and you
- 14:06Speaker 3: can't blame him for it, And that's fine. Everybody's in
- 14:09Speaker 3: the field her own worry about it.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, facts, It's one of those things, bro that like
- 14:14Speaker 2: you bring it up and it could go either. It's
- 14:16Speaker 2: almost like a political thing at this point.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And that's why I didn't post nothing Like like I said,
- 14:20Speaker 3: I'll say he was a legend to me, I grew
- 14:23Speaker 3: up watching him. I don't agree with his actions, but
- 14:27Speaker 3: I'm talking about the man in the Ring, yep, Hulk Hogan,
- 14:30Speaker 3: not Terry Billia. I'm talking about Hulk Hogan. And I
- 14:34Speaker 3: appreciate what Hull Hogan did and in the Ring and
- 14:38Speaker 3: the legacy and the doors the open and the style
- 14:41Speaker 3: he had and the swag he had and all the
- 14:45Speaker 3: everything about him. The twenty four inch pythons like yo, yeah,
- 14:49Speaker 3: hey yo, big snakes. You know what I'm saying. But
- 14:52Speaker 3: it's like, you know what I'm saying, Book of T's
- 14:54Speaker 3: over here by the yell at him.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yo. A crazy thing about the Hogan thing. Not not to.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's hard to compare the two situations, so I'm definitely
- 15:07Speaker 2: not talking about the severity of what they did. But
- 15:09Speaker 2: to me, Bro, it screams the Bill Cosby situation.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Bro.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Oh, it's another same two guys that were so instrumental
- 15:19Speaker 2: in people's childhoods, so instrumental in people growing up and everything,
- 15:23Speaker 2: and both of them just failing miserably, and you're just
- 15:27Speaker 2: like dangn Bro. But like like I looked up to you, Bro,
- 15:29Speaker 2: like hog Hogan, each your each your vitamins, say your prayers.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You see him working out, You're like, Bro, I'm gonna
- 15:35Speaker 2: get buffed like hog Hogan. Like that was that was
- 15:37Speaker 2: everybody's first fitness inspiration, Bro, was hog Hogan. You see
- 15:41Speaker 2: hog Hogan posing, Bro, and you see him working out
- 15:43Speaker 2: in the in the little montages before the matches and everything. Bro.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It was it was one of them things that that
- 15:50Speaker 2: inspired you and Bro. Same thing with Bill Cosby.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Bro. I always say it before, like I learned a
- 15:56Speaker 1: lot like just as a man.
- 15:57Speaker 2: From the Cosby Show, like family values, like just life
- 16:02Speaker 2: lessons bro, from the Cosby Show.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Like you feel like that dude is kind of like.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Your dad growing up and your kid, you know what
- 16:07Speaker 2: I mean, because like he's giving you that wisdom that
- 16:09Speaker 2: game like all the way through and then for him
- 16:12Speaker 2: to end up being the dirt bag that he was.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Bro, it's like tough. Bro.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It's the same as the Hogan thing for you to
- 16:18Speaker 2: admire this dude, And it's like, dang, bro, that's what
- 16:21Speaker 2: the type of time he was on, Like, it's just
- 16:24Speaker 2: super disappointing.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Man, don't meet your heroes.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Though, speaking of Cosby, shout out to RP theaters.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Michael Ip, Malcolm, Jamal Warner, Man, that was heartbreaking, man,
- 16:35Speaker 2: vacation in your family.
- 16:37Speaker 3: That's rough. Hearing that story is rough, yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Man, that one don't make no stuff like that don't
- 16:43Speaker 2: make no sense. The fact that Bill Cosby was able
- 16:46Speaker 2: to make a statement about him passing that don't even
- 16:49Speaker 2: make sense. That like that that don't even feel right
- 16:52Speaker 2: like that shit, it should be the other way around, bro,
- 16:54Speaker 2: exactly like this this is that's insane.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Man.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's and I heard Charlemagne saying something that like it
- 17:00Speaker 2: was so true. Dog, He's like stuff like that happens, bro,
- 17:03Speaker 2: And it just tells you, like, to a certain point,
- 17:06Speaker 2: Carma ain't real, bro, because like from every account of
- 17:10Speaker 2: people that knew this man, he was like a stand
- 17:13Speaker 2: up dude, you know what I'm saying, family man, He
- 17:16Speaker 2: have crazy values like and for him to go down
- 17:19Speaker 2: like that fifty four.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I think he was dog man you hate to see it, man,
- 17:24Speaker 1: it sucks.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Man.
- 17:25Speaker 2: That was tough to hear, no facts, and then you
- 17:29Speaker 2: see and that is proof that carma ain't real because
- 17:33Speaker 2: then on the other side you got Trump and Diddy.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Yo.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Trump over here there's.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Handing out pardons like oh no cars right now? Bruh.
- 17:44Speaker 2: How an article? I mean multiple articles. A whole bunch
- 17:47Speaker 2: of people are covering it, saying that there's real, real,
- 17:50Speaker 2: serious talks in the White House to pardon Diddy before
- 17:54Speaker 2: his sentencing.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Bro, I don't know, man, Like I said, Trump signing
- 18:00Speaker 3: out pardons like like oh no card, like no skip cards.
- 18:07Speaker 3: I don't know the benefit. You know, you do the
- 18:10Speaker 3: what's the benefit of pardoning Diddy? Like, there's a lot
- 18:13Speaker 3: of stuff. There's a lot of people he's pardoning. We
- 18:15Speaker 3: won't get too into that. We don't got to want
- 18:18Speaker 3: to get into files and lists. But you know, I
- 18:22Speaker 3: don't see the benefit of part in didty.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Brou A lot of people saying it's just a deflection
- 18:27Speaker 2: right now. I mean there's a lot of implications with.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It, bro. And it's like.
- 18:35Speaker 2: The way stuff is happening is such a like clownish
- 18:39Speaker 2: like soap opera Waybro, is like embarrassing. Bro's just even
- 18:43Speaker 2: to watch how it unfolds, Like you don't even want
- 18:45Speaker 2: to talk about real news because the real news sounds
- 18:48Speaker 2: like clown stuff, Bro, you.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Like back in the day, it was like, yeah, we're not.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Going to talk about this, Let's talk about these faction
- 18:56Speaker 2: figures and these things that are going on. Like nah, bro,
- 18:58Speaker 2: like that's out the window. Like now the president is
- 19:01Speaker 2: partnering a dude that was like caught on video and
- 19:05Speaker 2: on tape doing things that he was clearly guilty of.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Like what are we doing here?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Bro?
- 19:10Speaker 3: Now that's that's one I don't I definitely, I don't
- 19:15Speaker 3: think it's going to cause the kind of attention that
- 19:19Speaker 3: he thinks is going to cause Diddy needs to service time.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I'm not you know what I'm saying. Uh, I'm not
- 19:26Speaker 3: an activist. I'm not in the law, but I'm saying,
- 19:30Speaker 3: did he We've seen what did he did? He? That's
- 19:33Speaker 3: iter serviet time? I dude, that's it. I don't think
- 19:36Speaker 3: you should get parting at all.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Yeah, It's it's just crazy that we even talking about this,
- 19:42Speaker 2: like as a topic. But he has sentence yet and
- 19:45Speaker 2: you're talking about partnering him, like, what are.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We talking about? Bro?
- 19:49Speaker 3: That's wild? That's wild. It needs to me.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah for real, man, Yeah, this is just on that front. Bro,
- 19:55Speaker 2: every day is a new circus.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Bro. It is insane, man, it is.
- 20:00Speaker 2: But yeah, man, kind of to wrap things up last week,
- 20:04Speaker 2: shout out to click Clack Man, he just dropped a
- 20:06Speaker 2: super dope project. He just dropped ism. I don't know
- 20:12Speaker 2: the exact idea of the project, so I'm just gonna
- 20:15Speaker 2: call it a project because I don't know if it's
- 20:16Speaker 2: an EP or an album exactly what it is.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But I will say this.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We went to his listening party Friday was Yeah Plus
- 20:27Speaker 2: this past Friday at Plus. Shout out to Plush, Shout
- 20:30Speaker 2: out to click Clack and his team.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Shout out to the people.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Involved, Ian Lou, Luxury Lane. I mean they all went
- 20:40Speaker 2: to work on this. Shout out to Taguala he got
- 20:43Speaker 2: on there. He got a song on there as well.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Shout out to Isaiah falls on the project.
- 20:49Speaker 1: It's one of them things, brou he did it the
- 20:52Speaker 1: right way.
- 20:53Speaker 2: We got the invite, which was super dope. Shout out
- 20:56Speaker 2: to Shout out to Unk definitely that that connection there
- 21:00Speaker 2: and going out there and listening to the project on
- 21:03Speaker 2: the way there. Listening to the project, they're kind of
- 21:06Speaker 2: hearing from the people that was intimately involved with it,
- 21:10Speaker 2: like what they were going for, the vibes of the sessions,
- 21:13Speaker 2: how it kind of unfolded and everything.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Bro, it was super dope. Man. Shout out to Ian Man.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Ian really gave me a lot of good backstory on
- 21:22Speaker 2: that whole situation and just how it all came together
- 21:25Speaker 2: kind of organically, like just putting Luxury Lane with click
- 21:31Speaker 2: Clack and just the people that were kind of put
- 21:35Speaker 2: in place to be part of the project and do
- 21:39Speaker 2: their thing. It was just like I told Ian, Bro,
- 21:42Speaker 2: it's not often that it comes together so well, oh yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 2: that everybody's just on the same page and they're all
- 21:48Speaker 2: on the top of their game and they're really rolling
- 21:51Speaker 2: and really coming together to make a dope project.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was dope because like you know,
- 21:58Speaker 3: you know, shout out to the Cashiers and you've always
- 22:02Speaker 3: told me about Lou you work with Lou, I've heard
- 22:04Speaker 3: about Ian, but seeing them celebrate this project release as
- 22:11Speaker 3: part of the project and not just them doing their jobs,
- 22:15Speaker 3: you know, their engineers or producers or whatever, it's like, yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 3: you know, just another one that comes in part of
- 22:21Speaker 3: the factory and goes. They were there enjoying it and
- 22:24Speaker 3: praising it and admiring the project they put together because
- 22:29Speaker 3: it meant that much to all of them, to that
- 22:30Speaker 3: whole entire group, and even CASKI was there shout to CASKI,
- 22:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it was just a dope environment of a
- 22:37Speaker 3: group of people who worked on the project, and you
- 22:39Speaker 3: could tell that they all cared about it, and you.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Can hear it in the work. Bro The project is
- 22:44Speaker 1: super dope. They really paint their picture.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You really like see and feel like a certain vibe
- 22:50Speaker 2: with it when you're listening to it. I was telling
- 22:53Speaker 2: Ian too, it's crazy because the way it sounds to
- 22:55Speaker 2: me is almost like when you get to the last song,
- 22:59Speaker 2: you could almost play it reverse and it's still.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Running back in responsibility. And that's what I was like,
- 23:05Speaker 3: there's just one thing that click, like data. And I
- 23:08Speaker 3: told him because I heard it on the way there.
- 23:10Speaker 3: When I saw him, He's like, they want that articulate pimp.
- 23:14Speaker 3: So he knew how to adjust to the production to
- 23:18Speaker 3: make sure he brought that best flow to the beats
- 23:22Speaker 3: the poetry, and I think he did that very well.
- 23:26Speaker 3: He made sure that each song the vibe that that's
- 23:29Speaker 3: that that production and that beat and everything should have
- 23:32Speaker 3: He matched his flow to that, and I think he
- 23:34Speaker 3: did that really really well.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah, no facts, it's a super dope project. Everybody definitely
- 23:40Speaker 2: go check that out. He's hometown. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Somebody somebody out here doing it like that. Bro, everybody
- 23:47Speaker 2: should definitely be tapped in. The project is super dope.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Like it's only seven tracks.
- 23:52Speaker 3: You could literally play from front to back, no skips,
- 23:55Speaker 3: play it all the way through. If you're a smoker,
- 23:58Speaker 3: you can light one of If you drinker, you poor
- 24:00Speaker 3: one up.
- 24:01Speaker 2: And I know that I have a lot of Isaiah
- 24:04Speaker 2: Falls fans in my circle. He got a song on
- 24:08Speaker 2: here with him Skybox. If anything, at least check that joint.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Give you that introduction to click Clac's vibe, his flow,
- 24:15Speaker 2: like the way that he comes on the track a O.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But definitely check it out.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that one and Trick fil A those are the
- 24:22Speaker 3: top two. Yeah, he had that one line you can
- 24:27Speaker 3: never steal my chick Scottie Pippen Like, yeah, it's just
- 24:30Speaker 3: some something so nonchalant, but it's memorable and I think
- 24:34Speaker 3: he did a good job of hating those punch lines
- 24:36Speaker 3: like that.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, he was. He was sliding all over there.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Bro.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Shout out to click Clack Man. That was a dope project.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Everybody checked that out because it's definitely something y'all need
- 24:46Speaker 2: to have in y'all rotation for the summer, going into
- 24:50Speaker 2: the cold vibes like it's gonna translate well, you know
- 24:54Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like it's like the windows down type
- 24:56Speaker 2: vibe in the summer or even when it's cool, just vibing,
- 25:00Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the windows down music is my music. That is
- 25:06Speaker 3: what I live for. That is what I enjoy, windows down,
- 25:10Speaker 3: breeze blowing, having a good vibe. Just put something that
- 25:13Speaker 3: matches that vibe, isn't is it?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Facts again man, shout out to click clagg and the
- 25:19Speaker 2: whole team. Bro, y'all did y'all thing. The listening party
- 25:22Speaker 2: was super dope. We appreciate the invite. Definitely. I'm gonna
- 25:27Speaker 2: reach out to him and see if he's down to
- 25:28Speaker 2: do an interview. Man, that you've talked to him about
- 25:30Speaker 2: the project, that you know what I'm saying, get a
- 25:31Speaker 2: little more in depth into it. Just even to talk
- 25:34Speaker 2: to him about the process because it was dope hearing
- 25:37Speaker 2: it from Ian. So I would definitely like to hear
- 25:39Speaker 2: from him and get sat on the tracks and stuff.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That'll be super.
- 25:42Speaker 3: We got some plans, man, grind the show got some plans,
- 25:44Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Yeah, man, y'all stay locked in. Man.

- 25:58Speaker 2: gonna make sure that everybody sees this or just stay
