Speaker 1: You know, so often we do things that we think
• 0:15
Speaker 1: are seemingly innocent, watching the horror movies, and you know
• 0:19
Speaker 1: all the things that open us up to a spirit
• 0:23
Speaker 1: of fear. Well, you know, hey, listen, I want to
• 0:29
Speaker 1: pray that the Lord would break that spirit of fear.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come
• 0:34
Speaker 1: before you today in the mighty Name of Jesus. Thank
• 0:38
Speaker 1: you for being our peace in the midst of panic,
• 0:41
Speaker 1: our courage in the face of uncertainty, and our strength
• 0:44
Speaker 1: when fear tries to steal our faith. Lord, your word
• 0:47
Speaker 1: declares that You've not given us a spirit of fear.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: Yet so often we find ourselves bound by fear. We
• 0:54
Speaker 1: fear the unknown. We fear failure, We fear rejection. Some
• 0:58
Speaker 1: of us fear losing but we work so hard for
• 1:01
Speaker 1: while others fear that will never have enough. We fear sickness,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: We fear heartbreak, We fear disappointment and change. We even
• 1:09
Speaker 1: fear stepping into the very calling that you've placed on
• 1:12
Speaker 1: our lives. Father, we confess that sometimes we've opened the door.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: We've opened the door to fear through our thoughts by
• 1:20
Speaker 1: rehearsing worst case scenarios instead of standing on your promises.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: We've opened the door through doubt, believing what the enemy
• 1:28
Speaker 1: says more than what you've already declared. We've opened the
• 1:31
Speaker 1: door through comparison, looking at what others have and convincing
• 1:35
Speaker 1: ourselves that we're not enough. But today, Lord, we close
• 1:39
Speaker 1: the door in the name of Jesus. We reject the
• 1:42
Speaker 1: spirit of fear, and we receive the power of love
• 1:45
Speaker 1: and a sound mind that you've freely given to us.
• 1:48
Speaker 1: We choose to trust you even when we can't trace you.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: We choose to believe that you're bigger than every storm,
• 1:55
Speaker 1: we are stronger than every trial, and you're faithful through
• 1:58
Speaker 1: every season. God replaces our fears with faith. When fear
• 2:02
Speaker 1: tells us we are alone, remind us that you will
• 2:04
Speaker 1: never leave us or forsake us. When fear whispers that
• 2:08
Speaker 1: we're not capable, remind us that through Christ, we can
• 2:12
Speaker 1: do all things. When fear tries to paralyze us, fill
• 2:16
Speaker 1: our hearts with your power, the same power that raised
• 2:19
Speaker 1: Jesus from the dead and lives on the inside of us. Lord,
• 2:22
Speaker 1: we receive your love right now, because your perfect love
• 2:26
Speaker 1: cast out all fear. Let that love wash over every anxiety.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: Father in our heart, calm every racing thought, and silence
• 2:35
Speaker 1: every nae of the enemy. Give us a sound mind,
• 2:39
Speaker 1: steadied discipline, and anchored in your word. Father, we thank
• 2:42
Speaker 1: you that we don't have to live afraid of the
• 2:45
Speaker 1: future because you already, Holy God, we don't have to
• 2:49
Speaker 1: fear the outcome, because you already have written our victory.
• 2:53
Speaker 1: So we lift our hands, we open our hearts, and
