- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get into the Clarity crash today, because it is happening.
- 0:03Speaker 1: A lot is breaking as we are reporting right now.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Let's just jump right into it. I just one, of course,
- 0:09Speaker 1: is going to get into a few things today around
- 0:11Speaker 1: what's going on with the Clarity specifically, I'll start with
- 0:15Speaker 1: what's happening in the metals market. The fact that gold
- 0:18Speaker 1: has been absolutely on fire. I mean, this thing hits
- 0:21Speaker 1: fifty five hundred, we see immediate retracement, as you can
- 0:24Speaker 1: see right here, another trillion off its market cap. The
- 0:28Speaker 1: big issue is all of this being centered around crypto.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm curious because it's very possible we could see a
- 0:34Speaker 1: lot of liquid going into gold and maybe the volatility
- 0:38Speaker 1: is being traded now much like the crypto market. Maybe
- 0:42Speaker 1: that is where the investments are coming in from gold.
- 0:46Speaker 1: All right, so let's jump over to this expost. This
- 0:48Speaker 1: is by bull Theory. This is a new account I like,
- 0:51Speaker 1: so you guys give him a follow over there. Let's
- 0:53Speaker 1: just do it right now. One thing that's cool about
- 0:56Speaker 1: this is he wrapped up a little bit of what
- 0:58Speaker 1: was happening throughout the FED meeting yesterday. Much of kind
- 1:02Speaker 1: of mirrored the scenarios that we saw, but the lineup
- 1:06Speaker 1: I think is pretty straightforward for most people. The Fed's
- 1:09Speaker 1: done hiking, inflation pressure is fading. We know that tariffs
- 1:13Speaker 1: are still the main risk. I don't necessarily believe that's
- 1:17Speaker 1: the case. I think these taco scenarios are more market
- 1:20Speaker 1: driving than they are FED dictating. The next expected move
- 1:24Speaker 1: right now is eventually a cut, not a hike. Question
- 1:27Speaker 1: is when does he do it before he steps out
- 1:30Speaker 1: of office or is it going to come back when
- 1:32Speaker 1: we get a new chair coming In financial conditions no
- 1:35Speaker 1: longer being tightened, we inspected that. I think this is
- 1:38Speaker 1: where easing is going to start moving its way in.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Whether it's stealth QE or full QI is the question,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and the system is shifting from restriction to stabilization, which
- 1:49Speaker 1: I agree with that. Of course, the tightening cycle is over.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I think the market is definitely waiting for an easing
- 1:55Speaker 1: cycle in general. Palell was very specific around his statements
- 2:01Speaker 1: yesterday in the meeting, and they weren't giving any forward look.
- 2:05Speaker 1: They were still slightly concerned about inflation. Jobs was the
- 2:09Speaker 1: big one that was pretty much off the table because
- 2:12Speaker 1: we've seen a little bit of an easing in the
- 2:14Speaker 1: job market, which has been good I think in general.
- 2:18Speaker 1: But really, when it comes down to it, when you
- 2:19Speaker 1: look at where the market is right now, it is
- 2:22Speaker 1: responding to yesterday's pause, but more importantly, it's responding to
- 2:27Speaker 1: what's happening in the Clarity Act, and of course that
- 2:30Speaker 1: is a big deal, all right. So I want to
- 2:32Speaker 1: get into a quick clip here by Tom Lee that
- 2:35Speaker 1: is breaking down the expectation of the crypto market and
- 2:40Speaker 1: what he thinks. Take a look.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Crypto has been a huge disappointment because you know, whether
- 2:44Speaker 2: it's debasement or geopolitical uncertainty or central banks easing, those
- 2:49Speaker 2: have our tailwinds for precious metals. It really should be
- 2:52Speaker 2: a tailwind for crypto. But I think crypto had suffered
- 2:55Speaker 2: and still hasn't recovered from that October tenth deleveraging. You've
- 3:00Speaker 2: seen the crypto market trying to recover, and in fact,
- 3:04Speaker 2: earlier this year there was probably some momentum until the
- 3:07Speaker 2: whole Greenland surprise and that caused another round of deleveraging.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So I think crypto, if in my opinion, is really
- 3:17Speaker 2: watching this huge moving precious metals. There's a lot of
- 3:19Speaker 2: fomo for crypto traders, and I think they're actually buying metals.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But in the past, these large moves in gold have
- 3:25Speaker 2: actually been a precursor to a subsequent moving crypto. So
- 3:29Speaker 2: I think part of this is we're seeing a big
- 3:31Speaker 2: move in sort of non US dollar assets and that
- 3:35Speaker 2: files with crypto.
- 3:38Speaker 1: All right, A couple of things there that Tom said
- 3:40Speaker 1: is to the point I was making earlier, is I agree.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I think that we are seeing crypto traders moving into metals.
- 3:47Speaker 1: The thing that I don't necessarily agree, even though ten
- 3:50Speaker 1: ten was a massive event that probably is still causing
- 3:53Speaker 1: a lot of pain within the market, I still feel
- 3:56Speaker 1: that this is all driven around the Clarity Act and
- 3:59Speaker 1: the fact that we are dealing with a very unstable
- 4:03Speaker 1: market going forward, because I think a lot of you,
- 4:05Speaker 1: including myself, have been in a position where we expect
- 4:09Speaker 1: that this was eventually going to make its way through.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I mean, come on, we have the crypto president, we
- 4:14Speaker 1: are supposed to be the crypto capital of the world,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but in reality we are not doing it. A word
- 4:20Speaker 1: from our sponsors Mevelaxi, which now has reached eighty thousand
- 4:25Speaker 1: active users worldwide, the platform growth is real. It's a
- 4:30Speaker 1: very strong indicator. I think that we're seeing user trust
- 4:32Speaker 1: in and adoption in the platform. They have an online
- 4:35Speaker 1: meetup with the team that is happening as well. There's
- 4:39Speaker 1: a few things to make note of here that you
- 4:41Speaker 1: guys are going to be able to do. One of course,
- 4:43Speaker 1: is users are going to be able to ask questions
- 4:45Speaker 1: directly and you're going to be able to get those
- 4:47Speaker 1: questions submitted in advance. So the format is very interesting
- 4:51Speaker 1: because it's going to be live discussion with the team.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They also have, of course mevs take two point zero.
- 4:56Speaker 1: If you haven't learned a little bit about that, you
- 4:59Speaker 1: guys should just jump over to of course, what is Mevsteak.
- 5:02Speaker 1: They've got a great article on that. The team shared
- 5:05Speaker 1: with me that Mevstak two to oh is coming soon.
- 5:08Speaker 3: So the key.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Feature will be the personal MeV bots and this is
- 5:12Speaker 1: going to be in an individually assigned for each user.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So a port of detail on this is that only
- 5:18Speaker 1: fifty spots are available, so make sure that you guys
- 5:20Speaker 1: are getting in there. We always leave a link in
- 5:22Speaker 1: the description down below where you guys can get in
- 5:25Speaker 1: on all this. But the key thing here is of course,
- 5:28Speaker 1: Mev'll actually continuing to grow activity. Be on the lookout
- 5:32Speaker 1: there I think when we think of growth, seeing them
- 5:35Speaker 1: expand geographically, expanding its user base and of course preparing
- 5:39Speaker 1: for kind of the next generation of what they're building
- 5:42Speaker 1: is going to be the key things to jump on. Again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'll leave a link down below. You guys can of
- 5:47Speaker 1: course get fifty percent on a discount on a pro
- 5:50Speaker 1: account and ten percent bonus on your first mvv steak.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Offer is valid for like forty eight hours, so use
- 5:57Speaker 1: the link down below, get crack, and you guys can
- 6:00Speaker 1: of course learn a lot more over at mevalaxi dot com.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Just jump over to their website, market Volatility stake once,
- 6:06Speaker 1: earn every day booster crypto now and earn daily rewards
- 6:10Speaker 1: with the mevbot activity. So check it out. Let's take
- 6:13Speaker 1: a look at what's happening right now, because one of
- 6:15Speaker 1: the things, of course that's going on is the Senate
- 6:18Speaker 1: AG hearing, and the AAG hearing is not looking good. Guys,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Remember the House put through a Clean Clarity Act, We
- 6:25Speaker 1: get all those amendments, banks get involved, lobby groups are
- 6:28Speaker 1: active now, and sure enough it's starting to put some pressure,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I think on what is going to be a partisan
- 6:35Speaker 1: approach toward the AG bill. We are not anticipating that
- 6:39Speaker 1: it's going to go through. We'll have a full report
- 6:40Speaker 1: on it tomorrow. We could get surprised, but unlikely it's
- 6:44Speaker 1: going to be the case. All right, So I want
- 6:45Speaker 1: to go to a quick tweet here by Sense. This
- 6:48Speaker 1: was a good wrap up. Obviously we know what was happening.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We talked a little bit about this yesterday, and that
- 6:53Speaker 1: is that the banks are in full combat mode. They
- 6:56Speaker 1: went to the White House. They of course are rating
- 6:59Speaker 1: the SEC, trying to get the SEC's position are recalculated.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And then of course the problem that they're claiming is
- 7:06Speaker 1: with Coinbase. So Ripple and others are fine, but Coinbase
- 7:10Speaker 1: is the problem. And the other issue is is that
- 7:12Speaker 1: this now because of these conversations, has now left a
- 7:16Speaker 1: bad taste in their mouths from these talks. So things
- 7:20Speaker 1: are not looking good between the banks, Coinbase, and I
- 7:22Speaker 1: think the broader industry. The question will be does Coinbase
- 7:27Speaker 1: get ostracized out of the negotiations. I don't see how
- 7:31Speaker 1: that's possible with everything else that's going on. I want
- 7:34Speaker 1: to go to a clip here by Corey Booker that
- 7:37Speaker 1: talks about this ag bill and how this translates into
- 7:40Speaker 1: clarity take a look.
- 7:42Speaker 3: We also said, very importantly, we want protections for self
- 7:45Speaker 3: custody and innovative technology. We do not want to be
- 7:49Speaker 3: criminalizing people who are writing code. And so I was excited.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I went into the holidays, I got married, and I
- 7:56Speaker 3: came back to this committee and start the year with
- 7:59Speaker 3: the new ouse that my Republican colleagues were walking away
- 8:03Speaker 3: from the bipartisan process that produced the draft. To be clear,
- 8:07Speaker 3: the product book before us today is not the bi
- 8:10Speaker 3: partisan draft that we're working on. We've come so long,
- 8:14Speaker 3: and I sat with stakeholders literally last night. We were
- 8:18Speaker 3: clearing up some of the defied differences that are not
- 8:20Speaker 3: reflected in this bill. The White House has made this
- 8:23Speaker 3: infinitely harder, and I've had private conversations Republican colleagues staffers
- 8:28Speaker 3: that agree with me. So I'm just going to say
- 8:30Speaker 3: right now, I've had one of the best experiences I've
- 8:33Speaker 3: had in my twelve years in Washington working with Cenator Bozeman.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Let's get back to work. We can finish this in
- 8:39Speaker 3: the next week or two in a bipartisan way. Have
- 8:42Speaker 3: a celebration. I may drink some milk, and we can
- 8:45Speaker 3: dance in the end zone. When we get this across
- 8:47Speaker 3: the line, that's what I'm asking. But until then, we
- 8:50Speaker 3: can't support this partisan draft. Thank you, miss Jim.
- 8:55Speaker 1: All Right, So the point that Booker was making, first
- 8:58Speaker 1: of all, the White House is the issue here. We
- 9:00Speaker 1: all know where that's coming right now. I think a
- 9:02Speaker 1: lot of it is coming in from David Sachs obviously
- 9:06Speaker 1: Patrick Witt, who is his soldier that's out there essentially
- 9:09Speaker 1: negotiating with this. But the bigger problem, I think is
- 9:11Speaker 1: the fact that we're seeing such a breakdown in the negotiations.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm actually on Booker's side with this in the sense
- 9:20Speaker 1: that if Bozeman was being able to get something across
- 9:23Speaker 1: the line, a lot of this still protecting the DeFi scenario.
- 9:27Speaker 1: This I think is or was a good direction. Unfortunately,
- 9:32Speaker 1: right now we're dealing with a problem, and that is
- 9:36Speaker 1: it looks like the White House are taking the bank's side.
- 9:39Speaker 1: All right. So here was a statement from the SEC
- 9:42Speaker 1: quickly responding to what was the basically the banks rating
- 9:46Speaker 1: the SEC yesterday. One day after that, they came in
- 9:50Speaker 1: with a statement on token is securities. And the point
- 9:53Speaker 1: that we get into is this right here, First, model
- 9:56Speaker 1: custodial token is securities, regular ones uky CN, you own
- 9:59Speaker 1: them like any other you vote all those regular things
- 10:02Speaker 1: you get with owning a stock. Then the second model
- 10:05Speaker 1: is synthetic token is security. So this isn't an obligation
- 10:09Speaker 1: of the issue to reference security. Basically, what they're saying
- 10:12Speaker 1: is this is now going to require KYC. So they're
- 10:16Speaker 1: locking down token is security. And when I say they,
- 10:19Speaker 1: the banks are locking down token is securities. And this
- 10:23Speaker 1: is going to put a lot of pressure on the
- 10:25Speaker 1: rest of the market as we go into this. Now,
- 10:27Speaker 1: remember robinhood is in the midst of launching this as well,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and I would put that Robinhood is also on the
- 10:34Speaker 1: bank side of this. We kind of mentioned this yesterday.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Let me kind of show you this right here. This
- 10:40Speaker 1: was interesting because where robin hood right now. If you
- 10:43Speaker 1: look at just the value of token I shares on
- 10:45Speaker 1: Robinhood continuing to explode. This is just going to be
- 10:49Speaker 1: the beginning. Again, this is a KYC platform. Robinhood's going
- 10:53Speaker 1: to launch these, it's going to go live on KYC,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and of course the thing that it's going to go
- 10:58Speaker 1: live on is arbitrary. I want to go to a
- 11:00Speaker 1: clip real quick that announces a little bit more what
- 11:03Speaker 1: this is going to look like. Take a look.
- 11:06Speaker 4: So today they have over one thousand equities that they've
- 11:09Speaker 4: launched on arbitram one, and they've announced that they'll be
- 11:12Speaker 4: launching their own chain, which is the robin Hood chain,
- 11:14Speaker 4: which I don't think that they've fully publicized the details
- 11:17Speaker 4: of the customizations of their chain yet, so I don't
- 11:19Speaker 4: want to build their thunder. But the idea is that
- 11:22Speaker 4: you can really customize anything about the chain, from the
- 11:25Speaker 4: permissions to the privacy, to the gas token to the governance.
- 11:29Speaker 4: But what arborum orbit gives you is the ability to
- 11:31Speaker 4: have highly customized, highly opinionated block space, block space that's
- 11:35Speaker 4: tailored to your business and your product. And that's what
- 11:38Speaker 4: I expect robin and other institutions to do with the
- 11:40Speaker 4: chain stack, not to launch vanilla arbitram one that just
- 11:43Speaker 4: looks like every other chain, but something that's really really
- 11:45Speaker 4: uniquely tailored to their business. And you know, I look
- 11:48Speaker 4: forward in their case to them announcing some of those customizations.
- 11:53Speaker 1: All right, So what this means is Robinhood is about
- 11:56Speaker 1: to unleash, and it's very possible they could become the
- 12:01Speaker 1: leader in token is securities. When you look at some
- 12:04Speaker 1: of the scenarios that play out within this other players
- 12:08Speaker 1: in the market. I'll just show you a chart real
- 12:11Speaker 1: quick over on Dune. This is a breakdown right here
- 12:14Speaker 1: as you can kind of see robin Hood, X Stocks, Ondo, etc.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Let's just remember, guys, we are dealing with a time
- 12:22Speaker 1: I think where Robinhood is going to absolutely just multiple
- 12:27Speaker 1: x this in terms of growth and because right now
- 12:30Speaker 1: it's just a very small amount, obviously because it's not
- 12:32Speaker 1: trading here in the US. But I think x stocs
- 12:35Speaker 1: right now, what they're trying to do is get into
- 12:38Speaker 1: the situation of obviously getting onboard users, get as many
- 12:42Speaker 1: users they can. But I think eventually this is going
- 12:45Speaker 1: to move to a KYC model, even in token is
- 12:48Speaker 1: securities that might be in DeFi now remember Onto is
- 12:52Speaker 1: part of this as well. They of course have their
- 12:55Speaker 1: big summit happening in New York. This is going to
- 12:58Speaker 1: of course have a ton of banks in this thing.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So Wall Street two point zero is here. Look at that, guys, Ondo.
- 13:07Speaker 1: This is going to be interesting to see what they
- 13:08Speaker 1: announce in New York next week February three, We'll be
- 13:13Speaker 1: probably covering some of this around the summit this could
- 13:16Speaker 1: be very critical to how token is securities are going
- 13:18Speaker 1: to be done. So I think now crypto is losing,
- 13:23Speaker 1: the banks are winning here, and coinbase is trying to
- 13:27Speaker 1: hold on, I think, but I'm not sure. It is
- 13:31Speaker 1: still up in the air in terms of what position
- 13:34Speaker 1: many of these companies are taken. We've seen positions as
- 13:37Speaker 1: you've seen obviously there from Ripple, the likes of Ondo.
- 13:40Speaker 1: What's going to happen over there in terms of opportunity
- 13:44Speaker 1: with traditional finance and what's eventually going to be a
- 13:48Speaker 1: very robust blockchain business. But DeFi is on the chopping
- 13:52Speaker 1: block for sure. Other things I want to hit on.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Of course, if you think about what could win on this,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I think Solana is still going to win even in
- 14:00Speaker 1: a KYC world. And I'll share this with you. If
- 14:04Speaker 1: you look continuously trending up on transactions, even though we
- 14:08Speaker 1: are in a down market, but trending up, I think
- 14:11Speaker 1: Solana is still a potential winner here in the long run.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Remember this is all running on mostly Solana for these
- 14:19Speaker 1: token is securities, which is going to be the future
- 14:22Speaker 1: of where most of this stuff is going to go.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Guys twenty four to seven, three sixty five the real
- 14:26Speaker 1: question will be how is it addressed by the SEC.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Now it appears that the banks have forced the SEC's
- 14:31Speaker 1: hand to deal with DeFi for Token IS securities. KYC
- 14:35Speaker 1: is going to be a thing. This is getting worse
- 14:39Speaker 1: by the day. I feel like when it comes to clarity,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and if you look at just the market, I'll go
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the charts real quick. Bitcoin of course falling dramatically
- 14:48Speaker 1: after the Senate ad kind of pausing, But I think
- 14:50Speaker 1: more importantly is the news that's coming out of the SEC.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So Bitcoin dropping down to eighty four six after a
- 14:57Speaker 1: nice return yesterday to almost ninety k. But right now
- 15:01Speaker 1: we are also dealing with that on Ether dipping hard
- 15:05Speaker 1: into the twenty eight hundred zone. XRP dropping back down
- 15:08Speaker 1: to one point eighty. This is absolute insane, Solana. It
- 15:13Speaker 1: could break the one hundred mark with this kind of
- 15:16Speaker 1: move down. Don't kind of pay attention to arbitrum because
- 15:20Speaker 1: of it where it's access and involvement with what's going
- 15:24Speaker 1: on with Token I securities. This may be the bottom
- 15:27Speaker 1: for arbitrum, but this of course is what of course
- 15:30Speaker 1: Robinhood is using. So be on the lookout for some
- 15:32Speaker 1: of these. And let's take a look at gold. Gold
- 15:34Speaker 1: had this big retrace right now. If you go to
- 15:37Speaker 1: the four hour, you can kind of see a little
- 15:39Speaker 1: bit of this running down off the morning. And again
- 15:41Speaker 1: I think this is crypto traders that are in there
- 15:45Speaker 1: trading metals right now, like crypto. And of course you've
- 15:48Speaker 1: got gold. Silver had its day yesterday, of course, and
- 15:52Speaker 1: of course the big retrace. Look at how far this
- 15:54Speaker 1: came down to one oh six on the spike in
- 15:58Speaker 1: the four hour right now. If you go to the
- 16:00Speaker 1: daily right now, it is very volatile right now as
- 16:05Speaker 1: silver starts to break into the one sixteen, one seventeen range.
- 16:09Speaker 1: All of this is in play right now. The banks
- 16:11Speaker 1: are winning. Make sure and reach out to your senator,
- 16:14Speaker 1: as your congressman, all of your lawmakers out there. Let
- 16:16Speaker 1: them know where you stand. If you like this video,
