- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Be aware there's gonna be some scattered uh showers and thunderstorms later.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Some of it could be a little bit strong at times.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Just uh keep that out there.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: You know what I've noticed?
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Throughout this whole summer so far, everything has been like showers Monday, Tuesdays, less on the weekends.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: The weekends have been so perfect.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: I have a girlfriend who has a boat, and I always think every single weekend, you know, our lives are kind of different right now.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: You know, I've got my things going on, she's got her boat life going on, and I always think, gosh, she has it so good this year.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: This weekend could be very good too.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: If it holds up the forecast, it is mostly sunny Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, so I need that too, because Heather and Dan are coming down.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: We have to take down a tree in my yard.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna come back to that because we're gonna play around of does Scott or an his man card in this job.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: All righty.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: So we'll get to that in just a little bit.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: But I wanted to round this out with both National Spoiler Dog Day today, because I'm pretty sure if you got a dog, pretty much all of us have something different we do that we spoil our dogs with.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Junior's laying right now in a king-size temperatic mattress in the living room of the Pain Palace.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: I don't even I I don't even know how my mom, she just had this, she's always had a love of dogs anyway, but she just has this really great connection with Junior, and she wants everyone to know it.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: She even said to me, she goes, This is my dog now.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Because if you missed it, my dog is staying with my mom for a month because the month of August is so busy for me.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: And she's like, I'll just keep it.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it works out really well because Junior doesn't move too much, and I noticed your mom doesn't move too much either.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: She did just have back surgery.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Believe me, I know I got the full rundown of that, including the doctors and everything.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: This time I got doctor's names, which is always good.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: You know, you're in a hardcore medical conversation with somebody when they can whip out the doctor's names.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of people are just like, Yep, I went and had that their uh amputation done to my big toe.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: But when they can be like, Well, I was over visiting with Dr.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Nasser and he uh was over there, you know, because when they drop doctors' names, uh-huh, and of course, they're so close.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Same reaction has to be, oh, she told me a story how the doctor even remembered your dad.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: I was like, Okay, it's uh Well, of course, when you're a frequent flyer, you know.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: So this is the best part.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: You have to play it's a good thing.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I'm I I am a professional BSer when it comes to you know casual conversation.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Because as your mom's telling this story about, you know, Dr.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Hajib, and I'm like, oh, yes, the good Dr.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Hajib.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: You know, you you have to play it long like you know the doctor.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, you be careful because you're about 10 years from giving me doctors' updates.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Well, that's true.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Although you never go to the doctor.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: No.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: So neither do I.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: But when they when when somebody starts dropping names of the doctors and all that, about all you can do is be like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: I heard they're very good.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Very good, very good doctor.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: If old people actually were good at technology, which my mom not, then they would be the best- She's your dad is.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: No, my dad's excellent at it, but think about it.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: They would be the best to give Google reviews on doctors and doctors' offices.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Because my mom, if she loves a doctor, oh, Dr.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Ross.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: He is just Oh, Ross.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: I heard all about Ross.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Yes, he is just the best doctor.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: You know, we've we've had him for 25 years.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: He's good.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Interestingly enough, women will do this when it comes to gynose.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: For the longest time, everybody wanted Dr.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Scott here in Corning, which I don't know, is he still around?
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: I don't know if he is or not.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: He was never mine.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, but everybody wanted him as far as the obgen goes, you know, the OBGYN.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Which I think is weird because I don't want a male OBGYN.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Well, yes, but there were, you know, hands of hands of an angel.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's right.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: You know, that's what you'd hear.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: So it was like bedside manner.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: So there is the exception to the rule.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: When you get to a certain age, you're name-dropping doctors because, well, this is casual conversation.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: When you're a woman, you're name dropping like the Obgins and the uh, you know, things like that.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Speaking of which, we have a great dentist.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I only only had a male OBGYN once, and that was because I had a girlfriend who swore by him, and then all of a sudden he was gone.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, retired?
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, don't you hate it when you find it's like finding a good bra.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: When you find a good bra and then they discontinue it, you're like, son of a guy.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Same with doctors.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: If I have an OBGYN who is the the hands of an angel.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Hands of an angel.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Yes, then I don't want to get rid of them.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: No.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Uh 0432.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I'll come back to your text in one second, along also with 6163, but I have to come finish off the spoiling the dog things.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, what's up?
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: So uh I love that this one came in and uh it was my dog has their own Brita pitcher and mobile groomer.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: And that was from Emily.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: My gosh.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Well, you're Emily, you're doing well for yourself.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Those mobile groomers, not cheap.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: No, not at all.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: But when it's your baby, then they have to they have to look good.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: There are all my babies at our house, but I can't afford a mobile groomer.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: I know, but it's like whenever you take Gavin and Lydia out.
- 4:42unknown: Right.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: It's like when you take Gavin and Lydia out.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: If Lydia's got chocolate on her mouth and doesn't brush her hair, you're like, get it together, girl.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Don't embarrass me.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Whoa.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: I don't want my dog to embarrass me.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: This one I I will uh give you from uh 4093.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: Jake gets fresh vegetables cooked up uh with uh with meals.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Oh yes.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Uh let's see, real fruits uh for dessert has a uh a coach collar.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, unleash.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Uh toy box full of toys, goes uh goes to visit grandma, gets uh beyond spoiled there too.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: See, I'm telling you, we're not alone here.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: And I always I love that it's like the uh going to visit grandmas because when all of a sudden grandma gets involved, it's 10 times the spoiling.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: There is now let me come back to uh these two texts.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: First of all, I will do let me do this one first.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Uh 0432.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Good everyone.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Did I miss how meeting uh the meeting of Zach and Allie's parents went?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, we never well we didn't we didn't talk about it much.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Well we're we're gonna do that next.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: I want you to stay there for just a minute because that is kind of a funny story.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Uh and then uh I had to mention this one too from 6163.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: They said good morning, Scott and Allie.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Good morning.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Um I would uh love to hear the birthday song.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Uh today is my birthday, celebrating 62 years and many more.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Yes, many more.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Wait a second.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: You wanna do you know what?
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: What 6263?
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: You have a birthday.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, 6163.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, 6163.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: You have a birthday buddy today with Gail Payne.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is your birthday talk! It is a very long hey!
