- 0:00A new level of your life demands a new version
- 0:03of you, a different version of you. This here,
- 0:09the price of admission. Get into the room with
- 0:14the heavy hitters and sharks. Most people assume
- 0:18it's about money. It's sacrifice. You have to
- 0:24get uncomfortable to get comfortable. Get out
- 0:30of the comfort zone. Get rid of those bad habits.
- 0:33So, it's time to move on. I am Sir Don. This
- 0:41is Mildest Shenanigans. This is the Price of
- 0:44Admission. Welcome to Mildest Shenanigans. Where
- 0:47the takes are hot, the jokes are wild, and nothing
- 0:50is off limits. Quick disclaimer. Everything you
- 0:54hear is strictly opinion, personal perspective.
- 0:58or just flat out nonsense we do not condone violence
- 1:02or violence behavior don't come for us this is
- 1:05for entertainment purposes only not facts not
- 1:09legal advice and definitely not safe for any
- 1:12sensitive ears so buckle up and let the shenanigans
- 1:15begin everything isn't free so actually so do
- 1:22you think you're going to be able to level up
- 1:24and still carry that Do you think you'll be able
- 1:29to get better and still be able to not heal?
- 1:33Change your way of thinking. Have a longer pause
- 1:36in order to build what you want to get. It's
- 1:41not going to work. You got to heal, grow to build
- 1:46the empire. The same environment will keep you
- 1:50stuck. Right in the mud. Yeah, we can get it
- 1:54out of there. And that's not where we want to
- 1:57stay. For example, the people around you, you
- 2:02be loyal to them. Are they holding you back?
- 2:07Are they striving you to be better? When you
- 2:10talk about the things that money talk to get
- 2:14everybody better, put everybody on, what's everybody's
- 2:18reaction? What are they doing? You don't want
- 2:25to be stuck in the same place because you're
- 2:28just comfortable, right? That's easier said than
- 2:32done. Just like getting out of bed before you
- 2:36go to work and start your day. Whether it be
- 2:39raining, it's cold, you're just comfortable,
- 2:42warmed up. If you don't get up out that bed,
- 2:46nothing's going to get done. It's going to delay
- 2:49everything that's set in front of you. So you
- 2:53got to start the day right, which means all your
- 2:56habits, the way you're thinking, your perspective,
- 3:00all have to change in order to level up. What
- 3:05are you willing to sacrifice? Because every day
- 3:09you're paying that tax. Delaying your greatness.
- 3:15Delaying being great. Being the best version
- 3:19of yourself. Do you see that every day? The price
- 3:26of a mission isn't just going to come out of
- 3:28your pocket. Your time, your attention, your
- 3:33habits, your circle all have to change in the
- 3:39line with what you want to do. Otherwise, get
- 3:54it out the way. You got to cut it loose. Because
- 3:58if you're intentional about what you're going
- 4:00to do, you're going to adapt. You're going to
- 4:03plan. You're going to recognize. A lot of us
- 4:08don't change what we do. We change in how we're
- 4:14doing it, too. Getting up at six, now you're
- 4:20getting up at five. you're eating more consistently
- 4:25taking your time before you start today to relax
- 4:29taking that time that first 15 possibly or just
- 4:35relax don't pick up that phone that's no different
- 4:41than when you start a new job it's uncomfortable
- 4:45at first it's scary for some people you might
- 4:48be ready to leave that new job but to do something
- 4:51new and to get what you want Whether it be your
- 4:54paycheck, a transition, a new career, you have
- 5:00to get uncomfortable and learn what's going on
- 5:03and adapt to the environment to succeed. That's
- 5:10intentional. So you need to intentionally get
- 5:17the chaos, the distraction, the drama all out
- 5:19the way. Be intentional, not violent. Because
- 5:29just like when you're wounded or you have a surgery,
- 5:33you go through the physical therapy after the
- 5:38surgery or repair to either get back to where
- 5:41you were and enhance to where you were at before.
- 5:47But you have to adapt, go through that pain,
- 5:50go through that struggle, and fight. So you got
- 5:55to have a nice environment to mold you. No different
- 5:59than how the old saying, you take a village.
- 6:05Because, yeah, some of them are something y 'all
- 6:08are doing by yourself. But that support system,
- 6:12no matter when it comes, no matter how big or
- 6:14small, it's impactful to the overall world. So
- 6:21in order to get better, Let's make a stop and
- 6:24pause on all the BS. It's going to take the hour
- 6:32by hour, the day by day. Otherwise, you're just
- 6:37going to be stuck. With your environment, obviously,
- 6:43you need to move out of your current one. Job
- 6:46is stressing you out. Where you live in that
- 6:49ain't safe. The city. Well, you have to be intentional
- 6:54about moving about your environment to level
- 6:56up because of your current environment. It's
- 6:59what's holding you back. It's making you struggle.
- 7:04And something can be right where you got to move.
- 7:08You got to move the distractions. You got to
- 7:10move the chaos. Right. So one of the things that
- 7:14start by something small. Right. Where you're
- 7:18at. Look around you. Does what you see reflect
- 7:27where you want to become? Ask yourself that.
- 7:34Look around. See what you see. Is that where
- 7:38you want to be? Is that putting you on a path
- 7:41to what you want to become? What is the intent
- 7:44or purpose of being the room that you're in?
- 7:48Ask yourself that. Right? On your phone, what
- 7:55you're consuming, does it feed the ambition or
- 7:59numb you? Because if you numb your mind, you're
- 8:04slowing down the progress. You're not being proactive
- 8:08nor intentional. Mindless, right? Or what some
- 8:15people say is brain rot. That's cool. On the
- 8:20weekend, you're chilling. things like that when
- 8:22you got time to just burn how much time do you
- 8:25have to burn what is your attention is on when
- 8:30you are relaxing right is it putting your feet
- 8:34up relaxing your body mentally are you going
- 8:36right to your phone because you want to pick
- 8:38up and see what's going on and that's cool but
- 8:41then what is that in taking and doing to you
- 8:43are you gonna get overstimulated are you gonna
- 8:46get triggered what does that look like But the
- 8:51intention is with building the empire, building
- 8:57your brand, building your business, whether that
- 9:01be education wise, right? Or something for your
- 9:06family. Everybody have different lanes and different
- 9:09avenues. So that means, yes, everybody's going
- 9:12to different speed. Just make sure you're in
- 9:16your lane. Don't crash. And make sure you know
- 9:20where you're at. And make sure that's where you're
- 9:24going to what you want to become. Because if
- 9:30you stay where you're at, most people might not
- 9:32think it costs you nothing. Right? Because if
- 9:36it was, you wouldn't make sure you got a discount
- 9:39or got something else to buy. Right? Because
- 9:48We pay for the price to go in the club or the
- 9:53bar somewhere. Half of us just, some of y 'all
- 9:56just standing around maybe on your phone looking
- 9:58at the stories of the other people in the same
- 10:01room. So you watching yourself watch each other.
- 10:09That's crazy. So like, let's make sure that You
- 10:18got the right intentions, right? So it's going
- 10:22to cost you a lot more than what you might be
- 10:26willing to pay for. You have to be able to weigh
- 10:31that. It's a big risk. The cost, you might not
- 10:38see up front. Some of you have balloon payments
- 10:41on things. You got a loan or something, you know
- 10:43what that's about. Some of y 'all, you got bad
- 10:45rates. But you're going to pay, and it's going
- 10:49to come. If you don't pay the price of a mission
- 10:54to level up, it's going to cost you all the discipline,
- 10:58risk, and the temporary comfort that you have
- 11:00now. Because you're going to be comfortable today,
- 11:03tomorrow, next week, next month, and the month
- 11:09after that. As you get closer to that, you're
- 11:11going to feel that pressure. You're going to
- 11:13feel that weight. Because most people say, oh,
- 11:17they're using social media to flex on people
- 11:19and they try to level up because of that. But
- 11:22do you know if that's what they're showing you,
- 11:24think about what they aren't showing you, those
- 11:26long nights, sleepless nights, that hard work.
- 11:32So I get it. Right. But don't mix it up with
- 11:37envy and jealousy. Right. But understanding the
- 11:41room that they're in, the work that's being put
- 11:43in. The sacrifice, the discipline. You're going
- 11:49to pay the regret tax every day. It's going to
- 11:55be people with half the talent pass you by just
- 11:57because they're going to pay the price of a mission
- 12:01that you refuse to pay. Put in the work. Right?
- 12:10Hard work is going to out beat talent every day.
- 12:14Period. Skill and stuff only last so long. What
- 12:21are you doing every day to build in the muscle
- 12:23memory? Right. The discipline, the habits. Right.
- 12:29No different than the athletes that put in the
- 12:31hard work every day. They got to set time to
- 12:33go to the gym. They got their workouts. They
- 12:36got their time. Every day they got to master
- 12:39their craft. Kevin Durant said it. Every day,
- 12:46you got to try to be better than that. Mastering
- 12:50my craft, getting better. Are you getting better
- 12:53every day? One hour at a time? You have to be
- 13:00willing to pay the price. If you're going to
- 13:06stay in your comfort zone, you might as well
- 13:10anticipate or Feel like or look up what it's
- 13:15like to drink some poison. Because that's what
- 13:18it's like. You're going to drown slowly. Just
- 13:23by being comfortable every day. Having a regret.
- 13:27Knowing what you should have done yesterday.
- 13:29Not taking advantage. Not maximizing your time.
- 13:33Right? Or not choosing to pay the price. To get
- 13:37into the next room. Or walk through the door.
- 13:40That's a choice. To suffocate yourself in the
- 13:44room that you're in now. Some people might walk
- 13:50in there with you and walk right through the
- 13:52next door. Some people might come in there and
- 13:54be with you for a minute and realize they got
- 13:58to go. So, yes, it is your life. You got to handle
- 14:03it and carry it all the way. But if you want
- 14:07to go into the next room, if you want to level
- 14:09up. You got to be willing to sacrifice all that.
- 14:13It comes with pain. The pain of the transaction.
- 14:20Is it worth it? That's what you got to decide.
- 14:24Because what's worth it to you might not be worth
- 14:28it to them. Those $200 sneakers ain't valuable
- 14:32to James, right, as it is to you. So that $200,
- 14:41save, put it into something else, right? So don't
- 14:47do it like that. Just make sure that you're willing
- 14:51to break it down. It costs to be the boss. You
- 15:02need to make sure you're ready to pay it. The
- 15:05pain of the transaction. Is it worth it? Because
- 15:09leveling up is going to hurt. Growing pains,
- 15:13right? You're going to feel different. You shouldn't
- 15:20feel like who you were. Like an imposter syndrome.
- 15:25Because that's what you're going to look back
- 15:27and say, that's what that was. Not who you're
- 15:30becoming. You might lose some sleep. You might
- 15:35outgrow some people. Especially some people that
- 15:38you love. But you got to be able to carry that
- 15:44weight because you're going to pay it one way
- 15:48or another. Depends on what you value, the temporary
- 15:53pain or the growth or the permanent ache of wandering.
- 15:58If you took that risk, if you took that chance,
- 16:04you have to be calculated. So they have to be
- 16:09intentional. It's not a coincidence that sometimes
- 16:18when the people around those, the person was
- 16:23leveled up, I always say they have changed. They're
- 16:27doing things different now. Make sure you move
- 16:34with intentions because you don't want to get
- 16:36caught red -handed. So, if you don't want the
- 16:44sirens coming after you, make sure you level
- 16:47up. Because the pressure definitely going to
- 16:51be there. And them boys, they chasing you. You
- 17:01going to be ready to run? You going to stand
- 17:04there? You going to level up? What do you value?
- 17:11Because you're going to suffer one way or another,
- 17:14whether that be the pain of your discipline or
- 17:20the pain of regret. The difference is that discipline
- 17:30actually buys you something at the end of the
- 17:33day. As you see. The city on fire. Sirens all
- 17:46day long. You can't hide it. You can't avoid
- 17:51it. The chaos is there. What are you going to
- 17:57do to it? Just because it's hot don't mean it
- 18:01should be more chaos. But that's what people
- 18:03say, right? Just like how everybody might be
- 18:08outside. Down there Y 'all down there open the
- 18:13day and you watch the game. What was your intentions?
- 18:17again, I mean But that's just some other shit
- 18:23Point going back to the pain of the transaction.
- 18:28Is it worth it? Yes, it's gonna have to be Get
- 18:40what you want. You better work hard for it, though.
- 18:44You're going to sacrifice and lose a lot. Every
- 18:48day, all that work that you put in, don't let
- 18:51it be lost for nothing because of one bad day,
- 18:54one emotional reaction, one overthought. Just
- 19:02because somebody might have disagreed with you
- 19:04or something like that. Doesn't necessarily mean
- 19:10you're supposed to veer off. You maybe slow down
- 19:14and pause, but you just don't stop entirely.
- 19:19You adapt and plan and keep going. But you're
- 19:24going to have to make an adjustment to level
- 19:27up. Because your circle is what's going to impact
- 19:36that growth, right? or hinder it right how many
- 19:41of us have been around people are you doing things
- 19:45just because you felt lower to you loyal to them
- 19:48subconsciously right you're doing things for
- 19:56everybody else when are you going to start doing
- 20:00it for you maybe not care about how people react
- 20:05You might care about their feelings, but you
- 20:08can't probably care about how they react to it.
- 20:13The circle effect is real. Why everybody around
- 20:17you matters. Everybody want to sit at the table.
- 20:27Everybody. Just like when you got a party or
- 20:30something like that, everybody want to go out
- 20:32to dinner. That's cool, and that's all. It's
- 20:35all well and fun. How many times have y 'all
- 20:40seen people want to pick up the tab? It costs
- 20:44to be the boss. Nobody want to pick up the tab.
- 20:52But the bosses do. Right? You got to pay something.
- 21:05There's nothing free. Just because it's not monetary,
- 21:08don't mean you're not giving something up. Are
- 21:13you aware of what you're giving up? To get where
- 21:17you want to be right now? Or to get what you
- 21:19want? Look at your dynamics with the people around
- 21:24you. What are you getting? What are you giving
- 21:30up to get it? What have you sacrificed to get
- 21:37close to get there? You cannot maintain the high
- 21:47-level mindset in a low -level environment. You
- 21:53cannot in a class. Your willpower is infinite,
- 22:00however much you want to get into it. How much
- 22:04you put into, how much willpower you're going
- 22:07to get. Your proximity, your circle, that's what's
- 22:15solidified. That's what's tight. That's not something
- 22:21you want to flex up and down. And then that's
- 22:24going to look at you and your intentions. Your
- 22:32environment, where you're from. Make sure who
- 22:38you are. It might have a part of who you are,
- 22:43but it doesn't represent who you could become
- 22:45or everything you stand for. You need to figure
- 22:52out who you are with. That's more important.
- 22:58Some of you. reference other people as more family
- 23:02than others because of what you went through,
- 23:04the circle, the dynamic, the impact of what you're
- 23:08doing. Right? It's who you're with. It's who
- 23:15you're with also affects, again, the energy around
- 23:18you. Right? Because every time you want to do
- 23:23something and somebody shoot it down or they
- 23:24ain't with it, it's because they ain't on your
- 23:25type time or because they don't understand what
- 23:28you want to do. So you need to be around the
- 23:35energy that channels directly into what you want
- 23:39to do. Bringing you life. The good and the bad
- 23:45too. It's going to be there. That comes with
- 23:48the sacrifice. If the people around you are glowing
- 23:58up, right? Don't you think you're going to catch
- 24:02some of that energy too? It's going to inspire
- 24:04you. But if all is given off is drama and a scare
- 24:11and all this nonsense and shenanigans, that feed
- 24:17into you and what you're trying to do, whether
- 24:20you realize it or not. It's still okay to have
- 24:26or be around people who don't have the same.
- 24:28always interested in you or the people who might
- 24:30not be on the same level in you. I'm not saying
- 24:32dismiss them completely, but you're going to
- 24:35have to make a sacrifice in some of the things
- 24:37you do. Because you're going to have to carry
- 24:45that weight. You start getting into a higher
- 24:48circle, right? The things of you, the expectations
- 24:54change. Just for example, you might have some
- 25:02friends that make less than six figures. Your
- 25:06friends that make six figures is maybe the starting
- 25:09point or the low bottom, right? The way they
- 25:12look at it, it's a difference. It's your circles
- 25:19and expectations, right? Now, you can say all
- 25:23the material things. Right. So if you're dealing
- 25:25with a lower circle, they might not be talking
- 25:28about their future endeavors and investments.
- 25:32I mean, they don't have any, but they're discussing
- 25:34them to bring everybody up and level them up
- 25:36to put everybody on. Right. Because the difference
- 25:45is when you start getting into a higher level
- 25:48or the next level. with a higher circle, you
- 25:53can no longer expect to be one of the smartest
- 25:57people in the room or one of the most successful
- 25:59people in the room, right? Because then at that
- 26:02point, everybody is on that same level and was
- 26:08there before you got there, right? Regardless
- 26:11of the path, now that you're in a different room,
- 26:15expectations are different, right? no different
- 26:20than the promotion you might have to dress different
- 26:22talk different react different you became a parent
- 26:30it ain't just about you anymore you got to think
- 26:32about somebody else first making sure somebody
- 26:36else got clothing food and water right so you
- 26:43got to make sure that you understand that Can
- 26:49you handle the weight? Can you handle the pressure?
- 26:53Being around people who demand more from you
- 26:56and won't settle. That's what it's like being
- 27:02in the higher circle. Not letting you what they
- 27:07call fail. You're going to have a lesson learned.
- 27:10Tell me you failed. It just didn't work that
- 27:13way. So we're going to adjust. plan adapt and
- 27:19execute that's intentional your circle is going
- 27:29to make sure the bottom line is different than
- 27:33what it was from your last circle because you're
- 27:36going to change and get rid of those old habits
- 27:42right because like i just mentioned making six
- 27:47figures Might have been the cool for the old
- 27:49circle. New circle, everybody might start off
- 27:51at six figures based on our ambition, based on
- 27:54what they're trying to do. Just because your
- 27:56old circle is not making six figures, don't mean
- 27:59they can't make six figures or more, millions,
- 28:03billions. What are they trying to? Because over
- 28:08here, that room over there, six figures is just
- 28:12a warm up. You're just getting started. You're
- 28:16not even in the game yet. You're on the bench,
- 28:22right? It might normalize the success you're
- 28:27currently stressing over because that's what
- 28:29come with it compared to somebody else who's
- 28:32not having experience that are on that same path.
- 28:35The leveling up might minimize it because of
- 28:40the experience and growth and path they might
- 28:41look at that. Not saying they don't care about
- 28:43what you're going through. But can they relate
- 28:46to that? Can you talk to them about that? Right.
- 28:49Can you get feedback and can that help you understand
- 28:52the level up? Right. There is some people who
- 28:55not on your path who will give you great guidance
- 28:58to things and insights that you haven't seen
- 29:01yet. They might help you along your journey.
- 29:07Two things are always true. The difference which
- 29:15are your people who's considered the high -end
- 29:20circle, right, compared to the low -level circle
- 29:24is like getting called out. How many people are
- 29:28going to call you out about your bullshit? When
- 29:33you know you on bullshit, how many people around
- 29:35you going to let you go and do it and call you
- 29:38out, right, compared to some people just going
- 29:42to agree with you? Let you be your bullshit.
- 29:47Let you fuck up your own shit, right? Because
- 29:51in a sense, that may even validate their own
- 29:55laziness. Higher circle, right? You can call
- 30:06you out. Not going to let you play small. You
- 30:19can't get away with that. Right. So now it's
- 30:25time to get a new blueprint where you transfer
- 30:28it over to a bigger circle. You don't have to,
- 30:32the old term saying, you don't have to reinvent
- 30:34the wheel. You don't have to do anything new.
- 30:38You put your name on something, put your sauce
- 30:41on it. Yeah, not stealing, not copying. Because
- 30:45that's what some of y 'all out here are doing.
- 30:47Big, big, big, big difference. Big difference
- 30:56between copying and reinventing the wheel. Because
- 31:00when you're sitting at the table with people
- 31:01who've already went through the things that you
- 31:04went through, the stress, the long nights, right,
- 31:07the sacrifice, right, sleepless, hungry, tired,
- 31:12right? The people who already survived those
- 31:17mistakes, those are the people you need to be
- 31:20around because that's what they're going to help
- 31:23you and get you through there. Not the people
- 31:26who are not saying they can't help you, but you
- 31:29got to get all the way to the finish line. And
- 31:32somebody who's crossed it or right there can
- 31:37definitely pull you and help you through or push
- 31:39you. We all need a little push. We all need a
- 31:47little push. Because you're going to make mistakes.
- 31:52They're going to come. But you need to be around
- 31:55people who can help you when you're approaching
- 31:58that. When you see that. Right? It's unfair.
- 32:06You got to get through it and adapt. So. One
- 32:14thing you have to do is now start changing your
- 32:18habits immediately. You went in a circle. So
- 32:23everything that you just did and went through
- 32:25the days we talked about the last time, you got
- 32:28to get rid of just going through the motions.
- 32:31Get rid of the autopilot. Right. Obviously, if
- 32:38you keep doing the same thing. Every day, all
- 32:42day, you're not going to kill it or end the machine
- 32:45or turn it off. You're just going to fuel it.
- 32:49It's going to keep running. It's going to keep
- 32:51running. It's going to keep running. You're the
- 32:55pilot. Take control. What you feed it is what
- 33:05you're going to give out. So if you're going
- 33:08through the motions, that's what's going to happen.
- 33:10Right? You got to get rid of the old habits that
- 33:14you've been doing that's routinely there. So
- 33:20you can't just be reacting. You might have to
- 33:23pause. The first time you might be around a new
- 33:26group of people and you do some old habits, they
- 33:29might not take that kindly. They might not take
- 33:32that the right way. They might respond differently.
- 33:37Right? I got your new job. What you got away
- 33:42with, you're not going to be able to get away
- 33:43with that here. We ain't going for none of that.
- 33:50Right? So stop falling off. Stop drifting. Right?
- 33:56Break the glass and all that. Break the glass.
- 34:03So start replacing your routine. Doing things
- 34:07differently. being intentional about it right
- 34:10because when you do uh start breaking habits
- 34:16it'll definitely uh leave a void there that you
- 34:21need to replace right so what does that look
- 34:24like you gotta stop the miles games you gotta
- 34:34get rid of the shenanigans You need to start
- 34:38moving right with your intentions. Because if
- 34:44you don't, you're going to pay that price. In
- 34:50order to get into the next room where we're going
- 34:51to go, it's going to cost. Ain't nothing for
- 34:57you. Because when you see me level up, You'll
- 35:06know why. You'll know how. I've been going over
- 35:12with you. Don't miss it. It'll go right past
- 35:19you. Autopilot. Not going to drift. Not going
- 35:29to fall. I'm going to take control. It's switching
- 35:36things up. And that should look different. That
- 35:41should feel different. And that's on purpose
- 35:47too. But it also gonna come with a cost. As it
- 35:54should. I'm willing to pay it. Are you? I am
