The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett | Chapter One
A special Sunday bonus episode!
Over the next three Sundays, I’m reading the first chapter of three classic novels I’m considering for our next full read at The Quiet Corner — and I’d love you to help me choose.
Tonight, Annie reads Chapter 1 of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Meet young Mary Lennox at the very beginning of one of the most beloved children’s classics — a story of an old manor house, a mysterious locked garden, friendship, nature, and new beginnings.
Have a listen and see what you think. Could The Secret Garden be our next journey together?
🌿 Then have your say!…
