- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York he so Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone show on sevent ten Wolr May we got a
- 0:10Speaker 1: lot to get to today. Well, and it's another cold date.
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's a little better today, you know, I think everybody's
- 0:17Speaker 1: complaining some cold yesterday to day so cold. I think
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna take up smoking because I've noticed that if
- 0:26Speaker 1: if you smoke, they don't even feel the cold. It
- 0:29Speaker 1: could be ten below zero. As you can walk towards
- 0:32Speaker 1: this building, the smokers are all up front smoking. You know,
- 0:34Speaker 1: they all sneak out they have a cigarette. Could be
- 0:37Speaker 1: fifty below zero, ten feet they're still out there on
- 0:40Speaker 1: the sidewalk smoking. So what's today Wednesday? When we're almost
- 0:44Speaker 1: through this week, we got a lot to get to.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We'll get to the Somali community and the billions missing
- 0:52Speaker 1: in Minnesota. We'll get to affordability, We'll get to that
- 0:55Speaker 1: crazy brad Lander, and we'll get to you know, congestion
- 0:59Speaker 1: Pricing is now celebrating it's one year anniversary. It's coming
- 1:03Speaker 1: up on one year. The yelling and screaming about it
- 1:07Speaker 1: has died down a bit. I guess people just starting
- 1:09Speaker 1: to accept it. It's probably going to be here forever.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It doesn't go away. You know. It's like when they
- 1:16Speaker 1: raised the symptoms. They don't raise your maintenance or your
- 1:19Speaker 1: property text. It's what they call an assessment to fund something,
- 1:23Speaker 1: a little assessment while we need it. It never goes away.
- 1:27Speaker 1: These things never ever go away. President Trump went to
- 1:31Speaker 1: Pennsylvania last night for the rally. He's been in the
- 1:36Speaker 1: White House now for about eleven months, and a lot
- 1:39Speaker 1: of times they start to do these things for two reasons. One,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you're not getting your message across because the media is
- 1:47Speaker 1: so corrupt, and they've focus grouped prices, and that's how
- 1:52Speaker 1: they came up with the word affordability. It tested the
- 1:55Speaker 1: best in focus groups, so Democrats used it successfully in
- 2:00Speaker 1: elections in November, and the media just goes crazy attacking
- 2:04Speaker 1: Trump on affordability. It's all a bit of a hoax
- 2:08Speaker 1: because the fact is in the eleven months that he's
- 2:11Speaker 1: been there, prices have come down quite a bit. Inflation
- 2:14Speaker 1: has been cut in half, which is pretty good in
- 2:18Speaker 1: ten months. He always said it would take a year,
- 2:21Speaker 1: year and a half to get it down. Now, remember
- 2:23Speaker 1: the big beautiful bill that he passed with all the
- 2:26Speaker 1: tax cuts, all that stuff has not taken effect yet.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Although they got it passed this year, it doesn't kick
- 2:32Speaker 1: in until January, so you'll see a huge change in January.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Everybody will be getting more money in their paychecks in
- 2:38Speaker 1: January because the bill will begin January first. The tax cuts. Again,
- 2:46Speaker 1: prices are already down. Inflation hit nine percent at one
- 2:50Speaker 1: time under Biden. The average under Biden was five percent.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It's now two and a half, so he's cut inflation
- 2:56Speaker 1: in half already. Food prices are down. They'll point to
- 2:59Speaker 1: a couple of things, like beef prices. What about beef,
- 3:02Speaker 1: that's the reason for the beef prices being way up.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You can thank Joe Biden and the Democrats for that.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember about about two years
- 3:11Speaker 1: ago they started this war on cows, claiming that cows
- 3:16Speaker 1: caused climate change. I forget how they came up with
- 3:18Speaker 1: that or how they explained it, but they went after
- 3:21Speaker 1: the cattle industry in the Green scheme, and as a result,
- 3:26Speaker 1: the cattle industry had to cut back the size of
- 3:29Speaker 1: herds and all that stuff. So they are less cattle,
- 3:31Speaker 1: less cows, less beef. Now they have to get that back.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's just like with oil where they cut back drilling.
- 3:38Speaker 1: There was less oil out there and made the price
- 3:40Speaker 1: go up. And the same thing with cattle. We had
- 3:42Speaker 1: a lot less cattle than we usually have. So Trump
- 3:45Speaker 1: administration has changed all that. It'll take again, it takes
- 3:48Speaker 1: more than a few months. It's going to take a
- 3:50Speaker 1: year to get the cattle herds back up to where
- 3:52Speaker 1: they were, and that brings down the price. So it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was in Pennsylvania to do the rally to get the
- 3:58Speaker 1: message out about it for the ability. But wages are
- 4:01Speaker 1: up since he took office. Wages are up, prices are down.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You got to get that across, although it's tough because
- 4:08Speaker 1: fake news will just keep yelling that there's a terrible
- 4:11Speaker 1: affordability crisis. It really isn't. It's a lot better. I mean,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if you call this an affordability crisis, what did you
- 4:19Speaker 1: call two years ago when it was five times worse.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So now the other reason you do the rallies is
- 4:28Speaker 1: a president who's a great speaker, great performer. When he
- 4:32Speaker 1: gets elected. Now he goes into the White House and
- 4:35Speaker 1: he's in the White House and that's it, and he speaks,
- 4:37Speaker 1: it's in a room with a podium to people he knows.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And after a while, you start to get well, it's
- 4:47Speaker 1: your caged animal. You need to get out there. They
- 4:50Speaker 1: saw this with Reagan, and they realized they had to
- 4:52Speaker 1: get him out there. Let him give him a big audience,
- 4:54Speaker 1: give him thousands of people out there, Let him do rallies,
- 4:57Speaker 1: let him do speeches. It's like a great actor, performer, comedian, singer.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You gotta let him go out on stage. You gotta
- 5:03Speaker 1: let him get out there. So they started to do
- 5:06Speaker 1: these rallies for Reagan for no reason, just because he
- 5:08Speaker 1: needed it. He needed the energy from the crowds, needed
- 5:11Speaker 1: to get out of the White House, get back in
- 5:13Speaker 1: touch with the people. So every couple of weeks they
- 5:17Speaker 1: set up something for Reagan, usually close by so he
- 5:20Speaker 1: could get there fast and get home fast, and not California, nearby, Maryland, Pennsylvania.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So they need to do this with Trump. He needs
- 5:28Speaker 1: to get out there, get back on stage, get back
- 5:31Speaker 1: to performing for audiences. So you'll see more of these.
- 5:34Speaker 1: He did an hour and a half last night. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: know the fake news will tell you he's got no energy,
- 5:40Speaker 1: can't stay awake. He did an hour and a half,
- 5:42Speaker 1: a lot longer than he's supposed to do. He was
- 5:44Speaker 1: kind of all over the map, so he didn't. You know,
- 5:47Speaker 1: they say you gotta stay on message, and well, Trump's
- 5:50Speaker 1: not going to do that. The coverage of it, of course,
- 5:53Speaker 1: is bad because that's the way they do things. They
- 5:56Speaker 1: talked about affordability. He talked in great detail about what
- 5:59Speaker 1: he would do about it, and a couple of times
- 6:00Speaker 1: he made some jokes. So if you're watching the fake news,
- 6:04Speaker 1: all they would say is he ridiculed affordability. He made
- 6:07Speaker 1: fun of the problem of affordability. Was totally inaccurate portrayal
- 6:12Speaker 1: of what happened. So you'll see more of these rallies. Hey,
- 6:17Speaker 1: yesterday had some special elections. The interesting one was Miami
- 6:21Speaker 1: mayoral election, special election that had run off. The Democrat won.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Now that's unusual. Usually it's a Republican in Miami. It's
- 6:28Speaker 1: the first time a Democrat has won in thirty years
- 6:32Speaker 1: in Miami. So if you're watching the fake news, they'll
- 6:35Speaker 1: tell you this is a bad sign for the midterms.
- 6:39Speaker 1: This is a bad barometer what's going to happen in
- 6:41Speaker 1: the midterms. The fact that the Democrat won in Miami,
- 6:44Speaker 1: of all places where Democrats never win, this is a
- 6:48Speaker 1: bad sign for a well I think you got to
- 6:52Speaker 1: look at more detail at this race. Nobody showed up
- 6:55Speaker 1: to vote. There was no turnout. The total votes thirty
- 6:59Speaker 1: six thousand, which is unheard of. That's incredibly low. So
- 7:05Speaker 1: nobody showed up to vote. That's how the Democrat got in. Now,
- 7:09Speaker 1: as we've talked about here in New York, they got
- 7:11Speaker 1: the same problem in Miami. There really is not much
- 7:14Speaker 1: of a Republican party machine. One thing about the Democrats.
- 7:18Speaker 1: They have a strong party with infrastructure, lots of bodies,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and what they call the ground game, which is crucial.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Boots on the ground that get turnout, get people out
- 7:28Speaker 1: to the polls. You know, door knockers, people working phone banks,
- 7:33Speaker 1: people you know, knocking on doors. You need this kind
- 7:36Speaker 1: of stuff. Democrats have that same thing we have in
- 7:39Speaker 1: New York. Same problem in Miami. Republicans nothing public party
- 7:44Speaker 1: is there, three people, part time, nothing. Democrats have a
- 7:48Speaker 1: massive amount of people on the ground to get turnout.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So it was a tiny little turnout and Democrats want
- 7:55Speaker 1: so don't take it as much of a sign of anything.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Heymmy Kimmel. Last Night special guest David Letterman Is returned
- 8:03Speaker 1: to late night TV, and he looked like the old
- 8:07Speaker 1: Letterman with the suits and the tie and those shiny
- 8:10Speaker 1: socks and the loafers, and but still with the white beard.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You know, if you're a kid watching Jimmy Kimmel, you know,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you wouldn't know who Letterman is. And with that beard,
- 8:20Speaker 1: you must have thought, this is Santa Claus or something
- 8:22Speaker 1: coming up. Although if you're a kid, you're not going
- 8:25Speaker 1: to be watching Jimmy Kimmel. These late night shows. Average
- 8:28Speaker 1: age of the viewers is sixty three years old on
- 8:31Speaker 1: the late night shows now most of them just talk
- 8:33Speaker 1: about politics these late night shows. Instead of fun stuff.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's all political and when you do that, you get
- 8:39Speaker 1: a much older audience. Average age of msnbcviewer I think
- 8:43Speaker 1: is sixty seven now. But Letterman on Kimmel, you know,
- 8:49Speaker 1: he was very big in late night TV on CBS,
- 8:52Speaker 1: in fact, beating Jane Leno at times. But then about
- 8:55Speaker 1: halfway through his run on CBS, Letterman started to get
- 8:58Speaker 1: political and it was pretty obvious he was a very
- 9:02Speaker 1: left wing guy, so he lost half his audience. If
- 9:05Speaker 1: you remember, he was doing very well on CBS against
- 9:08Speaker 1: the Tonight Show, and then as he got political and
- 9:11Speaker 1: went far to the left, he started to lose audience
- 9:13Speaker 1: and it went way down and started dropping and dropped
- 9:16Speaker 1: almost in half after a couple of years. So that
- 9:19Speaker 1: was the end, and that's when New it was time
- 9:21Speaker 1: to go, and CBS started looking around. But they made
- 9:25Speaker 1: the mistake of going with another left wing guy. You
- 9:27Speaker 1: want a guy in the middle. You know, if you
- 9:29Speaker 1: kind of make fun of everybody, you can do very well,
- 9:32Speaker 1: as Greg Guttfeld proved by getting bit. He has more
- 9:36Speaker 1: viewers than Kimmel, Fallon and Colbert combined every night. He's
- 9:41Speaker 1: the king of late night now. So but the point is,
- 9:44Speaker 1: Letterman came out and he went really crazy with the
- 9:47Speaker 1: Trump derangement syndrome. I mean really going after Trump with
- 9:52Speaker 1: the hysterical, hyperbolic, vicious attacks on him. Now, the other
- 9:57Speaker 1: thing he did, he came on and he congrat Jimmy Kimmel.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He says, you have just been re signed. You know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: they tried to throw you off the air, they tried
- 10:05Speaker 1: to get rid of you. They're pushing together get you fired.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yet you just signed. You signed a big new contract.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And the audience cheered and went crazy for this big
- 10:15Speaker 1: new contract. Well, they're totally conning the audience Kimmel did
- 10:19Speaker 1: not get a big new contract, and he fact, he
- 10:22Speaker 1: got the most insulting contract literally in the history of
- 10:26Speaker 1: late night TV. Every contract to re sign your late
- 10:30Speaker 1: night host, it's always five years, always five years. In
- 10:34Speaker 1: case of a big, big name like a Carson or
- 10:38Speaker 1: in Oprah, it'd be a ten year contract. Kimmel was
- 10:42Speaker 1: re signed to a one year extension, which is the
- 10:45Speaker 1: worst insult. That's when you really don't like somebody or
- 10:49Speaker 1: you really don't think you're gonna keep a one year extension.
- 10:53Speaker 1: They tried to do that to Carson in ninety one,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and that's the reason he left. That's where he made
- 10:58Speaker 1: the decision it was time to go and quit because
- 10:59Speaker 1: he realized what an insult that is. So Kimmel has
- 11:02Speaker 1: not been resigned to a big new contract. The reason
- 11:06Speaker 1: they'll only do a one year extension. This is the
- 11:08Speaker 1: way they're not stuck with you, and if they have
- 11:10Speaker 1: to fire you tomorrow, they don't have to pay out
- 11:13Speaker 1: very much. They do only have to pay out for
- 11:15Speaker 1: eleven months or ten months, which they would do anyway.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So it's basically not even really a renewal, huge insult
- 11:22Speaker 1: to Kimmel. Letterman knows that and was just totally conning
- 11:25Speaker 1: the audience with his nonsense. So, hey, Brad Lander, you
- 11:32Speaker 1: know that is he was the controller, a real left
- 11:36Speaker 1: wing cook. He's no longer the controller. His term is
- 11:39Speaker 1: up and he's going to run for Congress. He's trying
- 11:42Speaker 1: to win Dan Goldman's seat. Now, this doesn't make any
- 11:48Speaker 1: difference to anybody. Dan Goldman also a far left kok
- 11:52Speaker 1: So if it's Lander Goldman, who cares. But Lander is
- 11:57Speaker 1: trying to run on something. Accomplishments. He tries to in
- 12:01Speaker 1: this commercial list his accomplishments. He doesn't have any, So
- 12:05Speaker 1: what could he possibly come up with? Well, he mentioned
- 12:07Speaker 1: the fact that he got arrested fighting ice. That's the accomplishment.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You remember, there was an ice proceeding going on in
- 12:15Speaker 1: a courtroom and Lander tried to burst in and they
- 12:17Speaker 1: told him he can't come in right now, and he
- 12:19Speaker 1: didn't listen, and he came in and they had to
- 12:21Speaker 1: arrest him and take him out. He was being disorderly.
- 12:24Speaker 1: He was totally guilty of disorderly conduct. Governor Hokeel was
- 12:28Speaker 1: called and ran right down to the courthouse and got
- 12:31Speaker 1: him released in her custody. But he's just a clown.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Just a silly guy, far left guy. He is one
- 12:39Speaker 1: of the reasons we have Mom Donnie as mayor. He
- 12:42Speaker 1: worked hard to get Mom Donnie elected. You remember, there
- 12:44Speaker 1: was a primary and Lander was running against Mom Donnie.
- 12:48Speaker 1: But then at some point he decided to join the
- 12:50Speaker 1: Mom Donnie team. They got together, they pulled their voters,
- 12:53Speaker 1: he endorsed Mom donn He got him through that primary,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and so they were very close. There were teammates on
- 13:01Speaker 1: this whole thing. And then something went wrong there and
- 13:04Speaker 1: Mom Donnie cut off Lander. After all this happened, you
- 13:08Speaker 1: figured Brad Lander bei a big part of the administration.
- 13:12Speaker 1: They had some kind of break up, some kind of fight,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and Mom Donnie cut Lander off completely. So apparently Lander
- 13:21Speaker 1: too represhensible even for Mom Donnie, so he was cut off.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Now he's running for this seat. He's a big blowhard showboat.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He's like a George Santos, kind of one stunt after another,
- 13:35Speaker 1: trying to get publicity. Problem with Dan Goldman. Besides being
- 13:39Speaker 1: a far left kook, he's kind of a quiet guy.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I don't think he can compete with all the stunts.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So who knows. Lander may have a shot against him.
- 13:49Speaker 1: You know, the most fascinating thing is Minnesota, the Somali
- 13:52Speaker 1: community where this fraud took place. Whenever, whenever Democratic leaders
- 13:59Speaker 1: start yelling about programs for the homeless, money seems to disappear.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know, the great thing about the Green scheme, the
- 14:06Speaker 1: climate change, it was billions in contracts to hand out billions.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So that's why Democrats love that climate change green scheme stuff.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's what it's called the Green steam scheme. You'd give
- 14:19Speaker 1: out massive contracts to companies in exchange for huge donations
- 14:23Speaker 1: and whatever you needed. Well, a lot of Democrats, especially
- 14:27Speaker 1: locally mayors and those sorts, I've realized the homeless scheme
- 14:33Speaker 1: is much better. The problem with the Green scheme when
- 14:36Speaker 1: you give out a contract, it's to a company in
- 14:38Speaker 1: Colorado that makes windmills or something, and they found with
- 14:43Speaker 1: the homeless, the money doesn't leave the community. You're still
- 14:46Speaker 1: giving out massive contracts, but you're giving them out right
- 14:51Speaker 1: in your neighborhood to people you know. So the money
- 14:53Speaker 1: comes back to you in a lot more ways and
- 14:56Speaker 1: a lot faster. So you remember, Bill de Blasio and
- 15:00Speaker 1: his wife set up this crazy program when he was
- 15:03Speaker 1: mayor called Thrive NYC. And it was helped the homeless.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And if you actually asked him, well, what exactly show
- 15:10Speaker 1: me the prom Well, it's yoga for homeless, Yoga for homeless. Literally,
- 15:16Speaker 1: that was one of the programs. So a billion dollars
- 15:19Speaker 1: was handed out. After it was all over, everybody looked
- 15:23Speaker 1: for the money or what happened, and they couldn't They
- 15:25Speaker 1: couldn't find it. Even a missus Deblasio and the husband
- 15:28Speaker 1: admitted they don't know where the money went. They can't
- 15:31Speaker 1: find it, they can't keep track of it. Well, you
- 15:34Speaker 1: got Minneapolis, you got the Somali leaders as elon Omars,
- 15:40Speaker 1: these types they set up the same thing. Programs are
- 15:42Speaker 1: the homeless. And if you were running a homeless type program,
- 15:45Speaker 1: they would give you money out of all these funds,
- 15:48Speaker 1: government funds, taxpayer funds, federal funds. And they started passing
- 15:52Speaker 1: out money and it's all gone. Nobody can find it.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And it looks like first a billion and they said
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's probably two billion. Now they think it might be
- 16:02Speaker 1: as much as eight billion has been stolen from taxpayers
- 16:06Speaker 1: has disappeared into this homeless scheme. And this is one
- 16:10Speaker 1: of the great great scandals of the news media. Fake news.
- 16:14Speaker 1: You'll notice you're not seeing any coverage of this. If
- 16:17Speaker 1: we had legitimate, actual media, if CBSABC, NBC were legitimate,
- 16:23Speaker 1: they'd be all over this. They would dispatch a whole
- 16:26Speaker 1: team of reporters, go to Minneapolis, don't leave until you
- 16:29Speaker 1: found out what happened, get to the bottom of this.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The New York Times, the Washington Post. They'd be sending reporters.
- 16:35Speaker 1: There's no coverage, no mention of it. They don't want
- 16:38Speaker 1: you to know about it. So this is what democrats do. Now,
- 16:43Speaker 1: they've got these homeless schemes where you get to hand
- 16:46Speaker 1: out money left and right. Now, Mom Donnie gets elected,
- 16:50Speaker 1: what's he talking about setting up a homeless program, setting
- 16:54Speaker 1: up a massive program to hand out massive contracts on
- 16:57Speaker 1: the So we had imagine it's the same exact scheme,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and that's what will happen here. And we've already got
- 17:04Speaker 1: some good homeless programs. He's canceling them because they basically
- 17:08Speaker 1: don't hand out massive contracts to anybody. So it's going
- 17:12Speaker 1: to be interesting to see what happens now, Mom Donnie
- 17:13Speaker 1: takes over. I know you're hearing everybody's fleeing. Everybody's leaving
- 17:17Speaker 1: New York with this not true. I'm sure you can
- 17:19Speaker 1: find somebody that's leaving New York. But the best thing
- 17:23Speaker 1: to do is look at real estate sales. As far
- 17:25Speaker 1: as apartments condos, sales are up up dramatically in the
- 17:30Speaker 1: last month. Now, sometimes that always happens year end, but
- 17:34Speaker 1: you had eight hundred and seventy six contracts signed the
- 17:38Speaker 1: last month. It'll take the super high end, very expensive,
- 17:43Speaker 1: multi zillion dollar apartment. You had nine contracts signed last week.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That's a lot. And the better things check the rental market.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That's people coming in. Rentals in New York City are
- 17:54Speaker 1: through the roof. In fact, right now it's very tough
- 17:56Speaker 1: to rent an apartment because rentals are going crazy, so
- 17:59Speaker 1: people are moving in despite Mom, Donnie. Anyway, we've got
- 18:03Speaker 1: a lot to get to. Well, we'll take some calls
- 18:05Speaker 1: in a moment. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 18:09Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 18:12Speaker 1: seven ten
