- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie. It is time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
- 0:06Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. Today, I
- 0:10Speaker 1: just want to pray for those dealing with loss. And
- 0:14Speaker 1: there are so many kinds of loss of a loved one,
- 0:17Speaker 1: loss of a job, just loss in general. That grief
- 0:21Speaker 1: process and the things that we go through He only Father,
- 0:24Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus Christ. We come before you
- 0:26Speaker 1: with heavy hearts, carrying the weight of loss, loss of
- 0:29Speaker 1: a loved one, loss of stability, loss of what once was. God,
- 0:35Speaker 1: you see every tear, you hear every silent crist and
- 0:40Speaker 1: you understand the depth of every broken place within us.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Nothing about our pain is hidden from you, Lord. For
- 0:48Speaker 1: those grieving the loss of a family member, we ask
- 0:52Speaker 1: that you wrap them in your loving arms, be their
- 0:55Speaker 1: comfort in the quiet moments when the memories come rushing
- 0:58Speaker 1: in and the at since feels overwhelming. Remind them God
- 1:03Speaker 1: that you are near. Your word says that you are
- 1:06Speaker 1: close to the broken heart, and so draw near God
- 1:09Speaker 1: right now, Oh, fill the empty spaces with your peaces.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Surpasses all human understanding. Father. For those who have lost jobs, opportunities,
- 1:19Speaker 1: or a sense of security. We ask God that you
- 1:22Speaker 1: be their provider, be their hope. God. When doors have closed,
- 1:26Speaker 1: an uncertainty tries to take over, remind them God that
- 1:29Speaker 1: you are still in control. You are the God who
- 1:32Speaker 1: makes ways out of no way. Strengthen their faith to
- 1:36Speaker 1: trust that what was lost does not compare to what
- 1:40Speaker 1: you are preparing a head, Oh, God, for every kind
- 1:43Speaker 1: of loss, represented, relationships, dreams, health, direction, We ask that
- 1:49Speaker 1: you bring healing, not just surface healing, but deep soul
- 1:54Speaker 1: restoring healing. Men what was broken, God, restore what feels shattered.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Breathe life to places that feel empty, and drive. Lord
- 2:03Speaker 1: when grief feels too heavy to carry, carry it forwards them.
- 2:07Speaker 1: When they don't have the words to pray. God, interpret
- 2:10Speaker 1: every tear and every sigh. Remind them that it's okay
- 2:15Speaker 1: to grieve, but not to grieve alone. You are with
- 2:19Speaker 1: them in every moment, walking with them through the valley. God,
- 2:23Speaker 1: who will replace their despair with hope, replace heaveness with
- 2:26Speaker 1: your presence. Give them strength for each new day, just
- 2:30Speaker 1: enough grace to take a new step. God, just enough
- 2:33Speaker 1: peace to make it through the night. Surround them with
- 2:36Speaker 1: people who will love them, support them, and lift them
- 2:40Speaker 1: when they feel weak, and God, we thank you that
- 2:45Speaker 1: loss is not the end of the story. You are
- 2:48Speaker 1: the restorer, You are the healer. You are able to
- 2:52Speaker 1: bring beauty from ashes and joy even after sorrow. In
- 2:56Speaker 1: your perfect timing, we trust that you will reveal, you
- 3:00Speaker 1: will renew, and you will revive. Until that day, God,
- 3:03Speaker 1: hold them close, Lord, let them feel your presence like
- 3:07Speaker 1: never before. Let them feel your love. God. Let that
- 3:11Speaker 1: be the anchor that keeps them steady. God, replace every
- 3:15Speaker 1: broken heart into your hands, trusting that you will care
- 3:18Speaker 1: for them gently and faithfully in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen, Amen,
