- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in scrub.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Dub Dub and the wife.
- 0:16Speaker 1: A tub tub.
- 0:18Speaker 4: This is part two of the wedding recap.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Tanya and Becca's version. I think we need to have version.
- 0:27Speaker 5: Maybe we'll have.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh, I see, We'll see it could Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying it could be its own thing because
- 0:35Speaker 1: I feel like being in the wedding and being a
- 0:37Speaker 1: guest and a wedding of two very different perspectives.
- 0:39Speaker 5: Sure.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I forgot to mention this on the part one.
- 0:43Speaker 4: The weather was.
- 0:47Speaker 2: When I was walking down I finally I was like,
- 0:50Speaker 2: I should have just been outside all day and let
- 0:52Speaker 2: the wind hit me. Because as soon as the fresh
- 0:55Speaker 2: air was on me and I was in that moment,
- 0:57Speaker 2: I was like revived. It was like the most per
- 1:00Speaker 2: picked weather I've ever experienced.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It was perfect.
- 1:03Speaker 6: It's perfect, And I have to admit I was wrong
- 1:05Speaker 6: because when she was planning this, I was like, Tanya,
- 1:07Speaker 6: just pick a place you can't control the weather.
- 1:09Speaker 5: It's gonna be fine. Just do it in La It's
- 1:12Speaker 5: the best climate in the world.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Range sometimes in La in March and sure enough that
- 1:17Speaker 6: day in Los Angeles.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Was rating, so I was wrong.
- 1:21Speaker 6: She chose correctly and wow.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And it was also National Butterfly Day?
- 1:29Speaker 4: Was that planned?
- 1:30Speaker 1: What if I told you this was accidental?
- 1:34Speaker 2: No?
- 1:34Speaker 1: No no, no no no?
- 1:35Speaker 5: And a blood moon and.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Period money like everything?
- 1:42Speaker 4: Did you know the National Butterfly Day?
- 1:47Speaker 2: I feel like you saw someone call your mastermind and
- 1:49Speaker 2: now you're playing into there's no way.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Wudn't you like to know?
- 1:54Speaker 1: No, we didn't pick the date because it was National
- 1:57Speaker 1: Butterfly Day. But it's so funny because everything honestly works
- 2:01Speaker 1: out to your benefit. Because we were obviously planning on
- 2:04Speaker 1: having a wedding on Saturday, as most people get married
- 2:07Speaker 1: on Saturdays, and they ended up booking the Garden, which
- 2:10Speaker 1: is where we wanted to have our reception for like
- 2:12Speaker 1: a corporate dinner the Saturday that weekend, which we had
- 2:16Speaker 1: already kind of like locked down that weekend. So Rob
- 2:19Speaker 1: and I were like so upset about it, and it
- 2:23Speaker 1: could not have worked out better because I feel like
- 2:25Speaker 1: having the weddings, the actual ceremony of the reception on
- 2:28Speaker 1: a Friday, and then having that next day to still
- 2:31Speaker 1: be with everybody and like not have to like rush
- 2:33Speaker 1: to the airport and go home. The next day was
- 2:35Speaker 1: like such a blessing, Yes, and that it was National
- 2:39Speaker 1: Butterfly Day, like it all.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I was like, this is it. That's what was meant
- 2:42Speaker 3: to be. It's what I meant to be. I literally
- 2:44Speaker 3: was saying.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I told Haley, I was like, we will do a
- 2:47Speaker 2: Friday wedding because if we do a destination having people
- 2:50Speaker 2: have the time to hang out Saturday and then still
- 2:54Speaker 2: have that full day or Sunday to go back.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Because like the most people will do like a brif
- 2:58Speaker 1: it's a destination, they'll do like a bunch on the Sunday.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But like nobody wants to go. You're trying to get
- 3:04Speaker 1: to an airport, you're trying to pack. But also like
- 3:06Speaker 1: look cute for this brunch for the bride, you know
- 3:08Speaker 1: what I mean. Like it's like there's a lot going on.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So like, I don't know, it just totally worked out.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So after the ceremony you went and took photos. Yeah, Robbie, quickly, quickly, quickly,
- 3:19Speaker 2: we all headed to the reception area, which again it
- 3:23Speaker 2: was a tent of twinkle lights and all the tables
- 3:28Speaker 2: were set up and all the tables had a theme.
- 3:31Speaker 1: First of all, it makes me so happy that you
- 3:32Speaker 1: said that it was like so beautiful because we did
- 3:36Speaker 1: it like I don't want to say low budget, but
- 3:39Speaker 1: like what we stripped down so much of the Like
- 3:44Speaker 1: we were gonna have so many crazy flower installments like
- 3:48Speaker 1: along the along the aisle and like along the the
- 3:53Speaker 1: the staircase of the ceremony, and then we were gonna
- 3:56Speaker 1: have like crazy flowers on all the tables. And then
- 4:00Speaker 1: who knew flowers were so expensive and in Mexico they're
- 4:02Speaker 1: like times ten what they are like here for some reason,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and so we were like, we don't need all this,
- 4:08Speaker 1: Like we don't need all these flowers. It's so gorgeous
- 4:11Speaker 1: the setting in and of itself. So we got rid
- 4:13Speaker 1: of all of that stuff. We got rid of all
- 4:14Speaker 1: those extra flowers, and and like it still.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Looked stunning, it looked like expense.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, no, we didn't. We were like, let's just do
- 4:25Speaker 1: single bud based flowers. And we did it for the
- 4:28Speaker 1: welcome the welcome dinner too, because you use less flowers.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You just put one in the vase and it takes
- 4:34Speaker 1: up like more space. But yeah, we like totally cut
- 4:38Speaker 1: costs from the flower like so much cost.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, where we really sprung was the Twinkle Tent. But
- 4:45Speaker 1: I feel like that's what made it.
- 4:47Speaker 4: It was worth every penny. Yeah, the lighting, it was stunning.
- 4:51Speaker 2: So y'all come down the stairs. Everyone tears, and then
- 4:57Speaker 2: we already talked about Sophia do well.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I have a little bit of that too.
- 5:02Speaker 6: But we should also mention that Tanya and Robbie took
- 5:05Speaker 6: the time, oh to write a brand written card to
- 5:08Speaker 6: every single person at.
- 5:10Speaker 4: The wedding, every single guest I've ever even heard of.
- 5:12Speaker 7: Such a thing, never happened before. Like that's incredible.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's so funny because like we agreed, like Robbery and
- 5:19Speaker 1: I are like, we really want the guest list was
- 5:22Speaker 1: like our biggest thing for the wedding, and so like
- 5:24Speaker 1: everybody that's there are people who have either been in
- 5:27Speaker 1: a part of our lives that we want in our
- 5:29Speaker 1: lives moving forward, like these were. This was like this
- 5:32Speaker 1: was like our core, and we were like, how do
- 5:34Speaker 1: we convey how important it is and how special it is.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Everybody took the time and the effort to like be
- 5:39Speaker 1: out here for us, and so we're like, let's write
- 5:41Speaker 1: them all like a note and Robbie goes, are you
- 5:44Speaker 1: sure you don't want to do it by like couple
- 5:46Speaker 1: like Wright to like the couple, and I'm like, no,
- 5:49Speaker 1: each individual gets their own letter, and he was like
- 5:53Speaker 1: so happy that we did it that way.
- 5:55Speaker 3: He's like, I think it was so much better.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Haley did not stop talking about that. She was like,
- 6:03Speaker 2: I have never experienced such a thoughtful gesture from like
- 6:08Speaker 2: a bride and groom or someone someone who's like putting
- 6:11Speaker 2: on an event like that, for them to take the
- 6:14Speaker 2: time to write every single person.
- 6:16Speaker 4: She was like, I have never experienced that in my life.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And I everyone kept talking like it was like constantly,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and I think because I knew you were doing it.
- 6:25Speaker 3: It didn't hit as hard hit it.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Hard, but like the more people were talking about it,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I realized, like how insanely thoughtful and just giving.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That was one of my favorite things was getting videos,
- 6:40Speaker 1: like people were taking videos of other people like reading
- 6:42Speaker 1: their cards. Yeah, but Mark is like weeping like a baby.
- 6:49Speaker 1: We could definitely post that video on scrubbing in right,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I'll send it to Crystal, but I love it. But
- 6:57Speaker 1: that was like one of my favorite things because that
- 6:58Speaker 1: was also we were like, what's thing because we're not
- 7:01Speaker 1: doing a seat at dinner. What's something people can do
- 7:04Speaker 1: while we're taking a couple of photos before we get there,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and we're like, oh, they can read their letters, so like,
- 7:08Speaker 1: but I was like, I want to see everybody's faces
- 7:10Speaker 1: when they do it, and so I was really glad
- 7:11Speaker 1: that like other people like caught videos of people like
- 7:14Speaker 1: reading them.
- 7:16Speaker 3: So that was really cool.
- 7:17Speaker 2: We did enjoy that and it was incredible, truly, and
- 7:21Speaker 2: I was I remember I think I even said on
- 7:23Speaker 2: the podcast, like you should you were thinking saying all
- 7:26Speaker 2: the things that you still needed to do, and You're like,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I need to write cards for everyone, and I was like,
- 7:29Speaker 2: take that off that nice, take that off your.
- 7:33Speaker 7: Like one card and copy it and put it in.
- 7:36Speaker 3: But it made a difference.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Oh god, everyone talked about it.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It took us like and that was one of the
- 7:42Speaker 1: last things we did before we left for Mexico because
- 7:44Speaker 1: we had to wait to get like the card stock
- 7:47Speaker 1: that we did them on. But it took us like
- 7:51Speaker 1: two to three full days. We didn't like sit there
- 7:54Speaker 1: at the table like twenty four hours writing them, but.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was incredible. So first dance comes,
- 8:03Speaker 2: y'all get announced missus and mister Yadagar yes, and they
- 8:09Speaker 2: announced Sophia.
- 8:11Speaker 1: By the way, I was going back and forth about
- 8:15Speaker 1: this MC of the night and I wanted to ask
- 8:19Speaker 1: you Mark, and Robbie was like, it's so not nice
- 8:24Speaker 1: to have a guest, like have a guest have a
- 8:28Speaker 1: like work, like make a guess work like that, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'm like, ah, you're right, but I think Mark would
- 8:35Speaker 1: like it, like I don't think it would be like
- 8:37Speaker 1: imposing on his time. But then everybody got in my
- 8:41Speaker 1: head about like it's not nice to do that, you know,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I mean, like you should have if we wanted Mark
- 8:45Speaker 1: to do it, we should have asked him like a
- 8:46Speaker 1: month ago, and like, you know, you know, I'm not
- 8:48Speaker 1: sprung it on him the night before. So then I
- 8:50Speaker 1: was like, you know what, You're right, these these band members,
- 8:53Speaker 1: this is what they do, and we'll just like let
- 8:54Speaker 1: them do it.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I regret not having you.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Do it again.
- 8:58Speaker 6: I have no complaints about the whole week and so
- 9:00Speaker 6: it's not a big deal, but I would have loved to.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I go listen, I heard the sentiment of not making
- 9:06Speaker 2: a guest work, but Mark would be honored because.
- 9:10Speaker 6: You could have sprung it on me thirty seconds you
- 9:12Speaker 6: had me in a microphone and that would have been honored.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So because we asked, we like floated the idea to
- 9:18Speaker 1: Paulina and she was like, ah, it feels kind of weird.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And so then I got in my head about like
- 9:22Speaker 1: a guest doing. I was like, yeah, she'd probably I
- 9:24Speaker 1: shouldn't be a guest. And then I was going to
- 9:26Speaker 1: ask you the night before at the rehearsal because I
- 9:29Speaker 1: was like, I got at.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Least give him a day.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah, And then everybody got in my head about like
- 9:32Speaker 1: not asking a guest. And then as we were taking
- 9:35Speaker 1: our photos on the sunset, our wedding planner, Marger was like,
- 9:39Speaker 1: so it's not it's it's going to be the band member, right,
- 9:41Speaker 1: And I was like, well, we can't do it now.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It's so last minute.
- 9:43Speaker 3: We can't just like go in there and ask Mark.
- 9:47Speaker 6: So anyways, thank you for thinking of me. It's fine,
- 9:49Speaker 6: it's okay, it worked out great. Yeah, yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 2: The only reason why this is funny is because when
- 9:55Speaker 2: he announced Sophia, yeah, because she had what did you
- 9:58Speaker 2: write my butterfly sister?
- 10:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and he said my buttery But.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I was like, so he's like a Tanya's buttery sister.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, that's that's her, my buttery sister.
- 10:16Speaker 2: So beyond that the announcement, I knew that what I
- 10:22Speaker 2: knew about the Sophia arrangement was that she changed the lyrics.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I did not know she had come up with an
- 10:28Speaker 4: entire arrangement of the song. Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 3: I didn't know that either.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So we had told her that we wanted the songs
- 10:36Speaker 1: for four and a half minutes, and we didn't want
- 10:37Speaker 1: to be like having everybody stare at us dance for
- 10:40Speaker 1: four and a half minutes, so we were like, can
- 10:41Speaker 1: you cut it to like two two and a half minutes.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I didn't know she was going to do like a
- 10:44Speaker 1: whole new arrangement. Thank god we didn't have like a
- 10:48Speaker 1: choreographed dance. Really thrown me off.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I'm like, because she had her cellis with her, Yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 2: like she flew her cellis so oh yeah. No.
- 10:58Speaker 3: She took it very seriously.
- 11:00Speaker 1: She was in rehearsals like she had a I'm taking
- 11:03Speaker 1: photos in my room. She was on with her vocal
- 11:06Speaker 1: courch like coach warming up like before, like she was
- 11:08Speaker 1: like she I don't know if you noticed, Like she
- 11:10Speaker 1: barely drank and spoke the night before because she was
- 11:12Speaker 1: like saving her voice.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Which now makes sense because I was like, this is
- 11:18Speaker 2: she's doing a lot for just singing the song. But
- 11:21Speaker 2: when I heard when it started, oh my.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Gosh, I know, it was like an angel came down
- 11:27Speaker 1: from heaven?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Am I crazy?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Is that would have found?
- 11:29Speaker 2: It? Was an angel under the twinkly lights? It was
- 11:33Speaker 2: like an we were all ascended.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and then she like changed the lyrics and she
- 11:38Speaker 1: made it all about the maid worn, which is where
- 11:40Speaker 1: we got engaged. Red is the color that made my.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Stars burst round? Were the color of his eyes?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Like she changed all the lyrics and then the
- 11:50Speaker 1: final lyric lyric is right here, just the whole stream
- 12:06Speaker 1: telling you a lot, lady tea.
- 12:11Speaker 9: So good.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's so crazy.
- 12:15Speaker 4: I've never seen a first dance to do that.
- 12:19Speaker 5: I was caught off guard.
- 12:20Speaker 7: How about this now I'm getting.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Can I play the intro of it? Because I do?
- 12:28Speaker 4: You have it?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:29Speaker 4: I just have.
- 12:29Speaker 2: That's all I have is just that clip because I
- 12:32Speaker 2: wanted to like just be present and I was like,
- 12:35Speaker 2: someone's filming the whole thing.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I guess she ended it the same way. Huh. That
- 12:48Speaker 4: was the beginning. Oh I didn't realize that she was all.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Around like there was like I felt like very like
- 12:59Speaker 1: like I felt like she was like like coming down from.
- 13:05Speaker 5: It was.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It was magical like that was. I can't wait to
- 13:10Speaker 1: see the video of us dancing to that because like
- 13:12Speaker 1: every lyric change, I would like cry and like seeing
- 13:16Speaker 1: her like I could tell she was getting choked up
- 13:18Speaker 1: to it was so special. Treated that like so with
- 13:25Speaker 1: such care. It was like the most important thing in
- 13:27Speaker 1: the world to her.
- 13:28Speaker 2: It was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. Yeah, same,
- 13:31Speaker 2: it was incredible.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Then we do hold on.
- 13:36Speaker 6: I think we should maybe let people know about some
- 13:38Speaker 6: wonderful products or services that they should take advantage of.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, to let him know. All right, we
- 14:06Speaker 4: are back.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So the reception, you had the first dance and then
- 14:11Speaker 2: you did the dances of your dad.
- 14:12Speaker 4: People wanted to know what song you danced.
- 14:14Speaker 1: We did Van Morrison Days like this Love Days like this, Yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and uh I found out like two days before we
- 14:21Speaker 1: left for Mexico, I picked the wrong song accident, No
- 14:24Speaker 1: It's day. Uh these are the days song. I'm like,
- 14:31Speaker 1: how many days Van Morris are there?
- 14:34Speaker 4: The songs that days like this and these are.
- 14:37Speaker 1: The days, Yes, and these are the days is the
- 14:39Speaker 1: more like beautiful one. I totally messed that up. I
- 14:44Speaker 1: was like, oh, hell, but the band. You have to
- 14:47Speaker 1: give the band like a three week it's like three
- 14:50Speaker 1: weeks that you have to tell them the songs that
- 14:51Speaker 1: they could learn them. So it was like two days
- 14:53Speaker 1: before we left from Mexico. So I was like, there's
- 14:54Speaker 1: no way I can change it now, but we did.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Days like this, it's still beautiful, and like it was the.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Van Morrison of it all.
- 15:01Speaker 1: That was my connection to my dad and like he
- 15:03Speaker 1: used to play that every summer in our backyard, so
- 15:05Speaker 1: it was really about Van Morrison, not so much of
- 15:07Speaker 1: the song, but like I totally picked.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Up the song.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so we don't know, no one knew. And then
- 15:14Speaker 1: Robbie and his mom danced to.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Celine Dion because you loved Me.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, because you loved Me, which seemed to be a cloud,
- 15:22Speaker 1: a crowd pleasing. People enjoyed that, and then we went
- 15:25Speaker 1: right into the horror.
- 15:27Speaker 2: That was the first Jewish wedding. That was my first
- 15:31Speaker 2: time experiencing that.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Everyone should do that.
- 15:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah, so fun, it's so fun, it's so fun.
- 15:41Speaker 5: So that's a banger.
- 15:43Speaker 4: First of all, yeah.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And everybody like, that's what's I love so much because
- 15:47Speaker 1: like it wasn't a so like fully jewish, Like half
- 15:50Speaker 1: of the people there had no idea what was going on,
- 15:51Speaker 1: had never even heard that song, I'm sure. And everybody
- 15:54Speaker 1: was in it, Like from the minute the party started,
- 15:57Speaker 1: every single guest was like in it. Everybody gave one
- 16:00Speaker 1: hundred and ten percent. I could not I had no
- 16:02Speaker 1: notes for anybody, Like, there was not anybody like straggling
- 16:05Speaker 1: around like on their phone. Like everybody was locked in
- 16:09Speaker 1: and gave it all of them. It was so fun
- 16:13Speaker 1: being up in that chair. Yeah, was so fun and
- 16:15Speaker 1: also so terrifying because I'm like, I think people are
- 16:19Speaker 1: kind of drunk at this point.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Well, and how many.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Videes have you seen it on social media? People falling
- 16:24Speaker 6: off those chairs?
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I was like sick.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, one second it's very fun, the next second it's
- 16:29Speaker 1: like terrifying.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I have live photos of Tanya in that moment, and
- 16:34Speaker 2: every photo starts with her smiling, waving the towel, and
- 16:38Speaker 2: then the ends with her like with this terrified look
- 16:40Speaker 2: on her face.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Yea, all have the same She was in and out
- 16:43Speaker 4: of fear and joy.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So then the horror ends and I needed to do
- 16:46Speaker 1: my alpha change, and so I grabbed Becca, grab Robbie
- 16:50Speaker 1: and we go back to the room. I change my dress,
- 16:53Speaker 1: change my hair, Robbie changes, and then we get back out.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I don't know how long we were gone for. I
- 16:58Speaker 1: didn't feel like we were gone for the twentynutes. I
- 17:00Speaker 1: was gonna say maybe fifteen twenty minutes. Yeah, And at
- 17:03Speaker 1: that point I was like, Mamma eats to eat, Like
- 17:05Speaker 1: Mom's gonna go down if she doesn't eat something. So
- 17:08Speaker 1: I like finally get my plate together. Sierra runs over.
- 17:12Speaker 3: She's wanting to take photos and then.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Like you know, like again like everybody, and I respect
- 17:17Speaker 1: it because like you want to take your photo with
- 17:18Speaker 1: like the bride and groom. But I was like, I
- 17:20Speaker 1: have to eat. So then I finally get down to
- 17:22Speaker 1: the table. I sit down to eat, and then I
- 17:24Speaker 1: Will Survive comes on, which is like my mom's favorite song.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So she's like you have to come and I was like,
- 17:28Speaker 1: if I don't eat, I'm going to fall down.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Like I like needed.
- 17:32Speaker 1: To eat, so after I will Survive, I was like
- 17:35Speaker 1: nobody touched me for like five minutes.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I got to eat and then it was like.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Game on, Yeah, game on until the end of the night.
- 17:42Speaker 4: It was so fun.
- 17:43Speaker 1: It was so fun. The DJ crushed, the band crushed.
- 17:48Speaker 1: H I Like we had two to choose from and
- 17:52Speaker 1: we just kind of like crossed our fingers and hope
- 17:54Speaker 1: we picked the best ones and like they nailed it.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah, they were amazing on the dance floor the whole night.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You know what. Else was really cute that we did that,
- 18:03Speaker 1: like only a couple people picked up on because it
- 18:06Speaker 1: really only impacted like two.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Of our guests.
- 18:08Speaker 1: But we gave every table and said we didn't want
- 18:11Speaker 1: a number table because we don't want be able to feel
- 18:12Speaker 1: like your table number one, your table number ten. So
- 18:16Speaker 1: we gave them all names that had something to do
- 18:17Speaker 1: with like our relationship, and one of the tables was
- 18:22Speaker 1: named Ace because we love to play cards. It's like
- 18:24Speaker 1: our favorite thing to do. And we sat our friends
- 18:28Speaker 1: Heather and Josh Altman at the Ace table because they
- 18:30Speaker 1: have a son named Ace. Oh, so like they like
- 18:33Speaker 1: thought that was like really cute. And then we named
- 18:36Speaker 1: another table Delilah because that's the restaurant that Robbie asked
- 18:39Speaker 1: me to be his girlfriend. And we put the owner
- 18:41Speaker 1: of Delilah and his wife at the Delilah table. Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 1: so like that was like really cute. Robbie had no
- 18:48Speaker 1: idea I did that.
- 18:49Speaker 6: We were at the t R L L Table, Yeah, Trust, respect,
- 18:53Speaker 6: Lust table, the four Pillars.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Of the Relationship.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Oh yeah, table called Butterfly.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Oh there was a hinge table Ringe Hydrangea.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Which is the flower that Robbie used to give me
- 19:03Speaker 1: like in the beginning of our relationship, Ace, Butterfly, t R. L. L.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Maybourne, Funny and Sonny. Yeah, those are self explanatory.
- 19:15Speaker 7: I don't want to derail from the perception too much,
- 19:17Speaker 7: but we did miss At the welcome party, we got
- 19:19Speaker 7: a big bag of rad yad merchant. I love everything
- 19:24Speaker 7: in that bag.
- 19:25Speaker 1: It was so rad is like the pride and joy
- 19:28Speaker 1: of Robbie's like heart. He puts so much thought and
- 19:32Speaker 1: effort into all those designs. He designed all of it
- 19:36Speaker 1: and he had like so much fun doing it.
- 19:37Speaker 3: He loved it.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that, along with the cards on the table, I
- 19:41Speaker 2: think really like shocked people the like thoughtfulness.
- 19:45Speaker 4: And the merch was so cute.
- 19:46Speaker 2: All of the scrubbers I posted a hat and they're.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Like, how do we get merched?
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'm going to give some to the scrubbers because we
- 19:51Speaker 1: had so much left over because we like put in
- 19:53Speaker 1: our we had to put our order in before we
- 19:57Speaker 1: had like all the RCPs, and I was like, I'd
- 19:59Speaker 1: rat they have too much, too much.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Than not enough. So like I like, I don't even
- 20:05Speaker 3: know what I did.
- 20:05Speaker 6: I really rumors of scrubbers at the ceremony in the
- 20:09Speaker 6: in the restaurant that overlooked the beach.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 20:12Speaker 6: I never got confirmation on that, but there are rumors
- 20:14Speaker 6: that there were scrubbers there that booked a room in
- 20:17Speaker 6: this resort and were in the restaurant to watch the ceremony.
- 20:20Speaker 1: From afar, I have no idea you'll.
- 20:22Speaker 7: Neither scrubbers are trying to buy the tote bag from me.
- 20:25Speaker 7: I was getting over and I was like, a, let's
- 20:27Speaker 7: see how HI, these.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Visits can go.
- 20:31Speaker 1: The toads are really cute, very cute.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Yeah, very handy for people to have.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I know, and you know it's so like
- 20:38Speaker 1: this just shows you how much is going through your brain.
- 20:40Speaker 1: When I was packing, Like I didn't pack a purse,
- 20:42Speaker 1: not a single purse, but I packed my beach bag.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I'm like, I made beach.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Bags for everybody. Why would I pack my beach bag
- 20:50Speaker 1: like so insane? But yeah, okay. So then my second
- 20:55Speaker 1: favorite thing that happened at the reception. There's this Taylor
- 20:58Speaker 1: Swift song that at at my bacherette party, we were
- 21:02Speaker 1: playing and like me and Sofia and Becca had like
- 21:05Speaker 1: a moment like we just had this like moment during
- 21:07Speaker 1: this Taylor Swift song. So I put it in the
- 21:10Speaker 1: DJ set, making sure like we played at some point
- 21:12Speaker 1: in the reception, and like it sticks out like a
- 21:15Speaker 1: sore thumb because like we did not play any Taylor Swift,
- 21:17Speaker 1: like it was very like international music. And then this
- 21:20Speaker 1: Taylor Swift song comes on that's like kind of like
- 21:22Speaker 1: is it over?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Now?
- 21:23Speaker 4: Is the song?
- 21:25Speaker 1: And I felt like I was like in Rome and
- 21:28Speaker 1: Michelle's high school reunion and like every or like no Wicked,
- 21:31Speaker 1: and it was like it was like like Glinda and Alpha.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Ba like scene where it was like me and Sofia
- 21:37Speaker 3: were just like.
- 21:38Speaker 5: That was so it look choreographed.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Everybody thought it was choreographed.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It was not.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And then I was like looking everywhere for Becca because
- 21:45Speaker 1: I really wanted Beck to be there, but she was gone.
- 21:47Speaker 3: But it was almost like we planned it because then she.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Comes in like running in halfway through and like I
- 21:54Speaker 1: in my mind it played out like a music video.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But I've been watching videos that people took and it's
- 22:00Speaker 1: like so funny seeing like people standing around being like
- 22:02Speaker 1: what is happening? Like what, like what's going on?
- 22:07Speaker 3: But like into it, but like what's happening?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Yeah, like mesmerise, yeah, but also like what is this?
- 22:15Speaker 2: I mostly like what's happening?
- 22:17Speaker 1: Right, what's happening? But it's one of my favorite moments
- 22:19Speaker 1: of the night.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I had gone, well, I didn't know that she was
- 22:22Speaker 2: playing it or that what time it was being played,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and so I had gone in the restroom and Haley
- 22:27Speaker 2: and I were walking out.
- 22:28Speaker 4: And she's like heye, like my thong is rolled, help me?
- 22:31Speaker 2: And I hear this song and I'm like I have
- 22:34Speaker 2: to go.
- 22:37Speaker 4: I like ran down the stairs. I was like I
- 22:40Speaker 4: saw the dance floor parted. Yeah, that was really fun.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 7: Right before we started the podcast, I was recording American
- 22:49Speaker 7: Top forty with Ryan and we played is it over now?
- 22:51Speaker 7: And Tony looked over and was given like a.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a breakup song.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It had like no business being played at the reception,
- 23:01Speaker 1: but I was like, it was one of my favorite.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Moments of the night.
- 23:03Speaker 4: It was so fun.
- 23:04Speaker 1: And then we ended there. We ended the reception with
- 23:09Speaker 1: I don't know the name of the I don't know
- 23:10Speaker 1: the name of the dance, but it's a Persian tradition
- 23:13Speaker 1: where they throw like white rose petals at the bride
- 23:16Speaker 1: and groom and it's like a very.
- 23:18Speaker 5: It was skipped over like weald, I want to tell
- 23:20Speaker 5: you your dad.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah, he played a song for your dad or
- 23:23Speaker 6: traditional Serbian folk song.
- 23:25Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 6: And he was extremely emotional about that, sobbing.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I've never seen him cry like that, like hands in
- 23:32Speaker 1: his face, sobbing.
- 23:34Speaker 4: The video is like really emotional.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Have you send it to me?
- 23:38Speaker 4: I thought you showed it to me.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Oh, I have so many videos on my phone, it's
- 23:43Speaker 1: like crazy. Okay, So apparently you thought I said no
- 23:48Speaker 1: to that song, or like no to playing it or something.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Oh. So he was surprised.
- 23:53Speaker 1: He thought, yeah, it was a surprised and I was like, yes,
- 23:55Speaker 1: it was.
- 23:55Speaker 3: A surprise.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Because I saw it on like the down or something
- 24:01Speaker 2: like on the wedding schedule.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yes, I put it like those are that we put
- 24:05Speaker 1: the horror the Persian song with the flowers, and then
- 24:08Speaker 1: I put this song that that was my dad's favorite.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I just did it, but boy, he broke reaction.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Yeah, you got a good DJ where you can you know,
- 24:19Speaker 6: seamlessly blend into it.
- 24:22Speaker 5: There's serbian folk song out of I don't.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Know literally, you're so right, but that was pretty. That
- 24:32Speaker 1: was pretty emotional. I was like, whoa, Yeah, it was beautiful.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole thing. It was so fun because everyone
- 24:39Speaker 2: was on the dance floor. Even if they were on
- 24:41Speaker 2: the dance floor, they were like in the lawn dancing
- 24:44Speaker 2: in the back, like you just sew people in like
- 24:46Speaker 2: little sex floor, so people would just be like off
- 24:50Speaker 2: like in the.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Lawn dancing or you know. It was just fun.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 6: And by the way, in case anyone was wondering, Ryan
- 24:57Speaker 6: was there for the entire I mean I left a
- 24:58Speaker 6: little earlier than when it was over, but he was
- 25:01Speaker 6: there and he was dancing with Robbie's aunts and stuff.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Yes, everyone really in it.
- 25:10Speaker 7: The DJ played Give Me Everything by Pitbull and Ryan
- 25:12Speaker 7: gets mentioned in that song, and I was really hoping
- 25:15Speaker 7: we were Mark and I were like the second.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Version, we were so ready.
- 25:18Speaker 6: We got our cameras out, like they're going to say
- 25:20Speaker 6: Seacrest and then he mixed it out.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yeah dang.
- 25:28Speaker 2: And then the reception ended with Robbie giving a speech
- 25:31Speaker 2: like saying thank you to everyone, and.
- 25:33Speaker 4: It was so emotional. Again we all thought we had
- 25:37Speaker 4: gotten through the crying.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And then Robbie gets the mic again to say thank
- 25:42Speaker 2: you to everybody and is just like so humble and
- 25:47Speaker 2: gracious and grateful thanking everybody, and he the boys are
- 25:53Speaker 2: up there with Tanya, and it was just I was like,
- 25:57Speaker 2: round of applause for just the most beautiful weekend top
- 26:01Speaker 2: to bottom.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that speech was emotional, very emotional.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah, he was very weepy.
- 26:08Speaker 4: And then we had Saturday.
- 26:10Speaker 2: But but the night did end.
- 26:13Speaker 4: It did not, which we will get to when we
- 26:16Speaker 4: come back.
- 26:33Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:34Speaker 2: We forgot something about the reception, which was the bouquet toss.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I wasn't going to do the bouquet toss and then
- 26:40Speaker 1: people were like no, yeah.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I was like, I was so drunk that way.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Do you think you had, by the way.
- 26:47Speaker 1: A lot.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you didn't even finish the one I get.
- 26:50Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 2: No.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So my thing is I never take a full shot.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I take half and then I pass it off. This
- 26:56Speaker 1: took a lot of halbs.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I took a lot of habs, Okay.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I wasn't like I didn't get sick at all. I
- 27:02Speaker 1: was never like sick from being drunk. So I think
- 27:04Speaker 1: it was like the perfect amount of drama. But I
- 27:07Speaker 1: did the bouquet toss, and like ninety percent of my
- 27:11Speaker 1: wedding were married people, and so I uh, there was
- 27:16Speaker 1: a small pool of single ladies on the dance floor.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I throw my bouquet out and it just goes over everybody.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Everyone watch does they go over their heads? I'm like,
- 27:27Speaker 1: can someone at least just like throw up a hand
- 27:30Speaker 1: for this, like come on?
- 27:32Speaker 3: So then I go.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Back and do it again, toss the bouquet and it
- 27:37Speaker 1: literally lands like perfectly in Paulina's hands.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Like no one even no one made an effort, but
- 27:44Speaker 2: they didn't need to because.
- 27:45Speaker 1: It was like divine intervention, a magnet. Yeah, I'm moth
- 27:49Speaker 1: to a flame.
- 27:50Speaker 2: The first almost hit me in the head, like I
- 27:52Speaker 2: was turned around trying to get Haley and Uni on the.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Out for the bouquet toss.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and you didn't know, so you did, And I
- 28:01Speaker 2: just see it land on the floor behind me, and
- 28:03Speaker 2: I'm like what.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, dang, nobody wants to touch this UK.
- 28:09Speaker 4: But it went straight to Paulina.
- 28:12Speaker 3: So did go straight to Paulina?
- 28:13Speaker 1: So TBC.
- 28:17Speaker 4: So yeah, we the reception ends and they.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Had like eleven and ended out like eleven, right, yeah, yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And Robbie had mentioned wanting everyone to go jump in
- 28:26Speaker 2: the ocean.
- 28:28Speaker 3: I'm sad he didn't get that moment, honestly.
- 28:30Speaker 2: You know what, though, I personally don't think he cared
- 28:33Speaker 2: because when we were there a few days early and
- 28:36Speaker 2: it was like hot and sunny and we got in
- 28:37Speaker 2: the water, it was very cold water.
- 28:41Speaker 1: He didn't seem sad. Yeah, I was just sad that
- 28:44Speaker 1: he didn't have his moment. So then I was like,
- 28:46Speaker 1: why don't we just like do it in the hot tub,
- 28:48Speaker 1: like everybody go jump in the hot tub, And he's like,
- 28:50Speaker 1: not really the same Like the pool. The pool was
- 28:53Speaker 1: so warm. I wish we would have done the pool anyway.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I wish he had his moment because that's all we wanted.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was the water was so golden. I
- 29:00Speaker 2: was saying about how drunk everyone was and getting in
- 29:02Speaker 2: the ocean.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I'm like, this is dangerous.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Tied was high, Tied, the tide is high, so we
- 29:08Speaker 1: go to the restaurant.
- 29:09Speaker 4: They keep the restaurant open for us.
- 29:11Speaker 2: They start sending in It's like chicken fingers and French
- 29:14Speaker 2: fries and casadas, and we are just like ravenous.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Rat I was ravenous. I don't think I ate more
- 29:21Speaker 1: chicken fingers in my life.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Tony was eating chicken fingers dipped in ranch, dipped in ketch.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Of a chicken hands.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah. And so we raged there until I
- 29:36Speaker 2: think it was like one something when we all walked back.
- 29:38Speaker 4: To your room.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it was Saturday. I wanted to end.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I know, we dropped all off, said you're on your own,
- 29:47Speaker 2: husband and wife.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Everything.
- 29:50Speaker 1: When I tell you, it like exceeded all expectations, Like
- 29:54Speaker 1: and I honestly, I know it took me a long
- 29:56Speaker 1: time to like decide on the venue, but I feel
- 29:59Speaker 1: like the hotel the we chose was so perfect for
- 30:02Speaker 1: the vibe that we wanted.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yes, do you know what I mean?
- 30:04Speaker 3: Like every spot that we.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Did, everything like felt so us beautiful but like a
- 30:12Speaker 1: sense of chill, you know what I mean.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Like it was everything wrapped it wrapped up into one.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I think everyone said that it was just the location
- 30:21Speaker 2: was perfect. The guest list was perfect. The food was great.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Everything was just ideal. The weather was perfect.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Did you guys have the dessert?
- 30:30Speaker 5: No?
- 30:32Speaker 3: Yeah, the chocolate hazelnut?
- 30:34Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:34Speaker 9: I had.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Both of them.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Were delicious, right, so good, so good. I was like
- 30:39Speaker 1: dreaming about that like two weeks before the wedding. Can't
- 30:43Speaker 1: wait to eat it again. We did not have a cake.
- 30:46Speaker 1: We did not do a cake cutting.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:48Speaker 4: People were asking about the cake.
- 30:50Speaker 3: No cake, no cake.
- 30:51Speaker 1: When you taste a delicious hazelnut chocolate bar like that
- 30:55Speaker 1: and adult ja de leja banana, whatever the hell that was,
- 30:58Speaker 1: when you taste that and then they say you can
- 31:00Speaker 1: have that or a cake, you take that?
- 31:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get that.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah yeah a lot of people also had questions about
- 31:09Speaker 2: Robbie's facial hair, because we were all under the impression
- 31:12Speaker 2: that four or five, whatever you chose, was going to
- 31:14Speaker 2: be welcome party and then wedding day.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah he reversed it, Oh he did. I think it
- 31:20Speaker 1: was day four for the welcome party and then he
- 31:23Speaker 1: shaved it down to like a day one for the wedding.
- 31:26Speaker 5: How did you feel about that?
- 31:29Speaker 4: Oh?
- 31:29Speaker 5: Wow?
- 31:30Speaker 1: I let him do his thing. I prefer them a
- 31:32Speaker 1: little harrier oh, but I also respect the fact that
- 31:35Speaker 1: he wanted to be a little more trim on the
- 31:37Speaker 1: wedding day.
- 31:38Speaker 6: It's really a lot of pressure because those pictures are
- 31:40Speaker 6: going to live for the rest of your lives.
- 31:41Speaker 5: You're going to see them every day for the rest
- 31:43Speaker 5: of your lives.
- 31:43Speaker 6: So twenty three years married, we have a big picture
- 31:47Speaker 6: in the playroom.
- 31:48Speaker 5: It's not like you're going to see it forever.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so I deferred, oh because I okay, So now
- 31:54Speaker 2: I feel better because he he made that decision. Yeah.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You had always thought that you were too sing what
- 32:00Speaker 2: you wanted, which was gonna be like four or.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Five day Yeah, but I got that at the wild Front, right,
- 32:05Speaker 1: So like I got mine, he got his, you know.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Yeah, ye yeah, marriage compromise, compromise.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'd thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Oh. People were asking about me finding my dress and
- 32:17Speaker 2: how I chose my dress.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Oh so, so nobody even knows this, but Becca had
- 32:23Speaker 1: butterflies in her dress.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there was like a really faint print that
- 32:27Speaker 2: had butterflies, and I didn't know when I ordered it.
- 32:30Speaker 2: So I ordered two dresses and I just send them
- 32:33Speaker 2: to Tanya, like I'm gonna bring both of these. But
- 32:34Speaker 2: do you have a preference? And she zoomed in and
- 32:37Speaker 2: there was a butterfly on like my shoulder. She didn't
- 32:40Speaker 2: plan it, and she goes, did you know there's butterflies
- 32:43Speaker 2: on this dress? And I was like, no, I didn't know,
- 32:44Speaker 2: and she it has to be that one. So that's
- 32:46Speaker 2: that's how I chose it.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It has to be.
- 32:48Speaker 3: How could she not have worn that?
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, my bridesmaids all looked amazing by the way the
- 32:52Speaker 1: dresses like compliment each other perfectly.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, the colors were great. I love that everyone's felt
- 32:58Speaker 2: like their personality.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah, totally, it's great.
- 33:02Speaker 1: The nuts literally no, No, My hair and makeup teams
- 33:06Speaker 1: said that they do weddings all the time and they're like,
- 33:08Speaker 1: I've never experienced a bridal party like yours. They were
- 33:10Speaker 1: on it, they were attentive, they were like like, those
- 33:13Speaker 1: are my girls, right.
- 33:16Speaker 2: So the next day was the pool party, yes, at
- 33:19Speaker 2: the hotel, and y'all rented out all the cabanas and
- 33:25Speaker 2: basically the whole adults only pool was ours.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:28Speaker 3: A couple of people that were not involved in.
- 33:30Speaker 4: The wedding didn't notice, didn't notice them.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah, honestly, I.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Was just like, didn't see them last night. Nope, didn't
- 33:37Speaker 2: get to meet them. Maybe they weren't even part of
- 33:39Speaker 2: the wedding.
- 33:40Speaker 3: We had coconuts with our logo printed on them too, I.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Shall do that. That was just incredible.
- 33:46Speaker 1: We spent the whole last night chot ourselves, chiseling away.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Sophia was just chiseling.
- 33:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But you know what's interesting, I didn't realize it within
- 33:59Speaker 1: the planning. I didn't know ever was going to go
- 34:00Speaker 1: so hard on Friday. I thought Saturday it was going
- 34:03Speaker 1: to be like a little bit more like intense. I
- 34:05Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be like a kind of like
- 34:06Speaker 1: a raging pool party. Oh interesting, And it wasn't. But
- 34:09Speaker 1: it was like so perfect.
- 34:10Speaker 4: It was perfect. It was like I had a couple
- 34:12Speaker 4: of drinks at this one in the bar.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Like in the pole, people were like in cabanas
- 34:18Speaker 1: with like their immediate friends. People were laying out like
- 34:21Speaker 1: it was very like chill, mingling mingly, yeah, mingly, meshy.
- 34:26Speaker 1: People would like leave to go get a SPA treatment
- 34:28Speaker 1: and come back like it was like chill.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:31Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, me too, And I think everyone loved it.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I feel like it was a perfect finale. Finale event.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Okay as guests, because I feel like you see everything
- 34:41Speaker 1: so different, like as a bride. What was all of
- 34:45Speaker 1: your favorite parts of the whole weekend?
- 34:50Speaker 5: The whole weekend.
- 34:51Speaker 6: My favorite part of the whole weekend was at the
- 34:53Speaker 6: reception and we were dancing, and I was kind of
- 34:56Speaker 6: on the outskirts of the dance floor and just kind of,
- 34:58Speaker 6: you know, I don't want to be the guy that's
- 34:59Speaker 6: just sitting there the whole time, but I'm not necessarily
- 35:02Speaker 6: going to be the center of the dance floor either,
- 35:03Speaker 6: so I just kind of doing my thing. And then
- 35:05Speaker 6: you came and got me and pulled me into the
- 35:07Speaker 6: middle of the dance floor right around the time we
- 35:09Speaker 6: started to hear Game start and then APT started, and
- 35:13Speaker 6: then it was off and we just it was APT
- 35:16Speaker 6: and then it was Hot to Go, and then it
- 35:18Speaker 6: was Uptown Funk, and then it was mister Bright's side,
- 35:20Speaker 6: and that that arc of songs right there, that was
- 35:23Speaker 6: the high point of pop probably my year up to
- 35:25Speaker 6: this point.
- 35:26Speaker 5: It was just the greatest. You didn't leave the dance
- 35:28Speaker 5: floor after that, I kind of didn't.
- 35:31Speaker 3: You were just in there.
- 35:32Speaker 5: I kind of established my place.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And then.
- 35:35Speaker 6: Everyone was recording me and sending videos of me and
- 35:38Speaker 6: laughing at me. But it was a really great time.
- 35:41Speaker 3: I don't think people were laughing at you know, I
- 35:43Speaker 3: think they I think they were.
- 35:44Speaker 2: No, I think they they were sending posting them for
- 35:47Speaker 2: the scrub scrubbing in because they love it when you dance.
- 35:50Speaker 5: You're sure, Okay, I got so many people.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I have so many requests to film you all dancing.
- 35:56Speaker 6: Well, that's okay, I've just done. Know what the motivation
- 36:00Speaker 6: is there, you know what I'm saying. But like Ryan
- 36:03Speaker 6: was making fun, Like Ryan was joking, Ronnie was laughing.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Oh really, I think so.
- 36:10Speaker 7: I got a video of you dance an apt and
- 36:11Speaker 7: I watched that video ten thousand times because, like you
- 36:14Speaker 7: like give Robbie, it's like big hug and a high five,
- 36:17Speaker 7: and there's just so much joy.
- 36:19Speaker 5: It's all joy.
- 36:20Speaker 7: It's so it's so infectious to watch. I just like
- 36:22Speaker 7: that night, I was just falling asleep watching the video.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I like everybody was like that. I felt like everybody
- 36:28Speaker 1: was like I feel like Robby and I dance with
- 36:30Speaker 1: everybody at the wedding.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Somehow, the whole.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Weekend was joy and love.
- 36:34Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what it felt like and this and this
- 36:36Speaker 6: is a more and more personal note. It just felt
- 36:40Speaker 6: like by overwhelming feeling that weekend, especially at the reception, was.
- 36:45Speaker 5: I'm gonna get emotional.
- 36:47Speaker 6: You make a lot of decisions in life to get
- 36:50Speaker 6: to where you end up, and that's how I felt.
- 36:53Speaker 5: I felt I've made.
- 36:54Speaker 6: A lot of right decisions that I'm here at this
- 36:57Speaker 6: spot with these people.
- 36:59Speaker 3: That's how I felt.
- 37:02Speaker 8: Nice, It's it's so fun.
- 37:14Speaker 7: I was thinking about this the other day, like it
- 37:15Speaker 7: didn't I didn't feel like it was like, oh, I'm
- 37:17Speaker 7: here with people I work with, you know, Like it
- 37:19Speaker 7: was like if everyone felt like family there. It was
- 37:23Speaker 7: so it was there's so much love. It's so hard
- 37:27Speaker 7: to pick a favorite part of that weekend, like my.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Gut, but see.
- 37:33Speaker 7: I was I couldn't wait to see you walk down
- 37:34Speaker 7: the aisle, And when I saw you, it was I
- 37:37Speaker 7: was thinking about everything you've been through, everything you've wanted
- 37:41Speaker 7: and then seen like in three D physical space like
- 37:46Speaker 7: I was just it was it was everything everything you
- 37:51Speaker 7: know that that I dreamed of, that everyone listening is
- 37:54Speaker 7: dreamed of.
- 37:55Speaker 5: It was.
- 37:55Speaker 7: It was like watching the Princess.
- 37:56Speaker 4: It was so great.
- 37:58Speaker 7: I love seeing you walked down when I first saw
- 38:00Speaker 7: you and your dad walked down the aisles like this,
- 38:02Speaker 7: this is the moment, and and seeing you up there
- 38:05Speaker 7: with Robbie and all the times you almost kissed. I
- 38:07Speaker 7: love the ceremony, I think was what I kept replaying.
- 38:10Speaker 2: In my head.
- 38:10Speaker 7: I love that so much.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, well, I agree. I think the whole
- 38:21Speaker 2: the whole weekend, I could find something in every moment,
- 38:24Speaker 2: but I think that right when Sophia started singing and
- 38:28Speaker 2: I have it on video, Robbie like did this motion
- 38:32Speaker 2: where he like hugged you like three times, and it
- 38:35Speaker 2: was this moment of like like we got here, you know,
- 38:40Speaker 2: like we did it, and it was like watching y'all
- 38:45Speaker 2: have this like joyful moment that we have been also
- 38:50Speaker 2: waiting for with you, you know, like this journey has
- 38:53Speaker 2: been all of us collectively, like the listeners, like all
- 38:59Speaker 2: of it felt like it came to this like moment
- 39:02Speaker 2: and it was like the twinkle lights and Sophia's voice
- 39:05Speaker 2: and this song that has had so much significance on
- 39:09Speaker 2: National Butterfly with like y'all's favorite people, and it was
- 39:17Speaker 2: just like I felt Robbie like have this moment. And
- 39:19Speaker 2: I guess the other thing was like I knew, I
- 39:22Speaker 2: know how much you love Robbie, and I know how
- 39:24Speaker 2: much Robbie loves you, but something about Robbie like it
- 39:28Speaker 2: felt like y'all were so locked in on like we
- 39:30Speaker 2: did this together, and like we got here together, and
- 39:33Speaker 2: we planned it together, and like.
- 39:35Speaker 1: I think that like obviously you guys have seen like
- 39:37Speaker 1: my side of the journey and like my side of everything,
- 39:39Speaker 1: but like he's been through hell and back, and I
- 39:42Speaker 1: think for his family it was like the same feeling
- 39:44Speaker 1: on his end, you know what I mean, Yeah, he's
- 39:47Speaker 1: gone through so much and he finally gets his happily
- 39:49Speaker 1: ever after, and so it was like what you guys
- 39:52Speaker 1: were feeling on my side. I think his family was
- 39:54Speaker 1: also feeling on his side for him.
- 39:55Speaker 3: So yeah, all of it.
- 39:57Speaker 4: And that's what we were saying.
- 39:58Speaker 2: I would talk to so many people and I was
- 39:59Speaker 2: like the way I kept describing that, the feeling all
- 40:02Speaker 2: weekend with everybody was like this joy for you guys.
- 40:05Speaker 2: And it's also like it was such a testament of
- 40:08Speaker 2: like the people that y'all are, because you know they
- 40:12Speaker 2: say like if you show someone your friends and like
- 40:16Speaker 2: the people in their life, it's a telling part of
- 40:19Speaker 2: who you are, and I was thinking about how much
- 40:22Speaker 2: joy and celebration and like.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Happiness there was in that room for y'all, and.
- 40:28Speaker 2: That's because of y'all, like you put that towards everybody,
- 40:31Speaker 2: like y'all have made sure to make every single person
- 40:35Speaker 2: that y'all encounter feel special, even at your own wedding
- 40:38Speaker 2: cards for everyone, like you made sure to dance with everyone,
- 40:41Speaker 2: you address everyone, And it was just like, I hope
- 40:44Speaker 2: that y'all felt that back so much, because that's what
- 40:47Speaker 2: the energy felt like the whole weekend, at least for me.
- 40:50Speaker 1: We did. We both were just like we couldn't get over.
- 40:53Speaker 1: And then like like you know, like you're in it
- 40:55Speaker 1: and you're the bride and groom, like of course you're
- 40:56Speaker 1: having fun. We're like, yeah, is everybody else having fun?
- 40:59Speaker 1: Like we're like it seems like they are, but like
- 41:01Speaker 1: you know what.
- 41:01Speaker 3: I mean, like you just can't tell.
- 41:03Speaker 4: Everyone gets a survey in the room at.
- 41:05Speaker 1: The end, Yeah, right, a zero to five and they're
- 41:09Speaker 1: like one, No, who is the guess that surprised you
- 41:13Speaker 1: the most, or like maybe that you love the most
- 41:15Speaker 1: that you didn't know, not like it asked me somebody
- 41:17Speaker 1: that you didn't know.
- 41:19Speaker 5: I mean I knew. I feel like I knew so
- 41:21Speaker 5: many people.
- 41:22Speaker 7: We sat on the welcome party. We sat with some
- 41:25Speaker 7: of Robbie's childhood or one of Robby's childhood friends.
- 41:27Speaker 5: We sat with Seth.
- 41:29Speaker 7: We hung out with him and his wife the whole
- 41:31Speaker 7: weekend and they were so cool and we had such.
- 41:34Speaker 5: A good time with them.
- 41:35Speaker 7: And something Seth said that I really liked is I
- 41:39Speaker 7: was like, oh, you know, what was it? Like? Uh,
- 41:41Speaker 7: what's it like being here and seeing Robbie in this
- 41:43Speaker 7: like phase of life? And he's He's like, I have
- 41:46Speaker 7: never in our entire lives seen him as happy as
- 41:49Speaker 7: he was with Tanya, like, and he was so excited
- 41:53Speaker 7: because I was so welcome party. He's like, I'm so
- 41:54Speaker 7: excited for tomorrow because that. And I was like, okay, okay, cool,
- 41:59Speaker 7: this guy is the real deal. Yeah.
- 42:01Speaker 5: They were.
- 42:02Speaker 7: They were they were rad. We hung out with them.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Okay, okay, fun, that was good answer.
- 42:06Speaker 5: I talked to your mom and dad more than I
- 42:07Speaker 5: talk to anybody, I think.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Okay, so my mom and my dad.
- 42:11Speaker 6: Dad, we chat with both of them, and they were
- 42:13Speaker 6: both they were very I don't know, we just had
- 42:16Speaker 6: a really great connection just talking about you and all
- 42:19Speaker 6: you've been through in your radio career in the last
- 42:21Speaker 6: fifteen years.
- 42:22Speaker 5: And it was really sweet. It was really nice to
- 42:23Speaker 5: get to know them better.
- 42:24Speaker 9: Oh great answer, I would say, so Robbie's brother first
- 42:34Speaker 9: of all, that was my first time spending time with them.
- 42:36Speaker 2: More like David and his family. David is so awesome. Yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 2: and Nonah was. I mean I knew already. I've spent
- 42:44Speaker 2: more time with Nona, I feel and talked to her,
- 42:47Speaker 2: but Nonah's parents, specifically her dad Cookie, every time we
- 42:54Speaker 2: ran into them with Haley, they were so curious about
- 42:59Speaker 2: her and us and ask so many questions and I
- 43:03Speaker 2: was just like, wow, like they are you know, it's
- 43:06Speaker 2: just getting to know more of Robbie's side of the family.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And then that was even like his extended family was
- 43:12Speaker 2: really cool. But every single person that I got to
- 43:14Speaker 2: meet and talked to, I was like, I get it. Wow, Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 2: I love that.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 2: But it was so fun getting to see people like
- 43:23Speaker 2: Charme and like people that I just get to see
- 43:26Speaker 2: here and there every now and then.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:28Speaker 2: That it was just so fun to get to see
- 43:30Speaker 2: them celebrating, y'all.
- 43:32Speaker 4: It was so fun.
- 43:34Speaker 1: It was the best ever. It literally was the best
- 43:35Speaker 1: weekend of our lives, like top to bottom.
- 43:39Speaker 6: All right, real quickly, if you have your wedding Bengo card,
- 43:41Speaker 6: get it out now, here's what we got put it.
- 43:43Speaker 6: You can mark these off as we go. Cake smash
- 43:45Speaker 6: in the face. No, someone other than bride wearing white. Yes, yeah,
- 43:50Speaker 6: the booquet is tossed and got caught. Yes, Robbie crying, Tiny, crying,
- 43:53Speaker 6: Mark crying, Easton, crying, Becker crying all yes. Is someone
- 43:57Speaker 6: gives a toast it was not scheduled to do so.
- 43:59Speaker 5: No?
- 43:59Speaker 6: No, Oh, someone trips on Tanya's dress. No, I don't
- 44:03Speaker 6: think your dad tripped on your dress. Wardrobe malfunction, not
- 44:07Speaker 6: that I'm aware of. Sonny poops during the ceremony.
- 44:11Speaker 3: No, nope.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Someone vomits at the reception. I mean there was vomiting
- 44:15Speaker 6: after the welcome party.
- 44:17Speaker 4: No, one, we don't really need to rehash that. And
- 44:20Speaker 4: I'm sure it wasn't just me.
- 44:21Speaker 6: I'm saying, yes, though, I'm saying give yourself credit for vomiting.
- 44:24Speaker 6: Someone ignores black tie and dresses too casually. Yes, definitely,
- 44:28Speaker 6: definitely garter toffed and caught. No speech longer than five minutes. Yes,
- 44:34Speaker 6: Ryan asked if anyone objects. No, he did not say
- 44:37Speaker 6: kiss a family, did not say tea rad he did
- 44:39Speaker 6: not say buy you a drink. Group dance, I say
- 44:42Speaker 6: yes because of the Beyonce Texas hold him.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, there was no chaw slide built.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Yeah, sing along on the dance floor.
- 44:52Speaker 9: Many.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 6: Bride's maid mentions Tanya's dating history in her speech. Yes, yes,
- 44:57Speaker 6: and someone reached some First Corinthians.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Yes, yes, call that one. So there you go. I
- 45:04Speaker 5: hope you got bingo.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Wow, that sounds like.
- 45:07Speaker 3: A lot of bingos on that car.
- 45:08Speaker 4: Yeah, they probably got a probably a high number of bingos.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Had Ye, they should get Tanya Merch TNR Merch Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I have to go through all that, the amount
- 45:19Speaker 1: of just like unpacking and like the aftermath, Like what
- 45:23Speaker 1: do I do with my wedding dress?
- 45:24Speaker 5: Now, well that's a good question.
- 45:26Speaker 7: I think Amy still has hers, Allison has hers.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna make it into a mini cute.
- 45:33Speaker 5: That you can like wear casually.
- 45:35Speaker 3: No, I'd wear it like on our anniversary or something.
- 45:38Speaker 9: You know.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I'm like, you could just do your reception dress if
- 45:41Speaker 2: you wanted to do a mini.
- 45:42Speaker 3: What am I going to do with this wedding dress?
- 45:44Speaker 4: Just save it? Yeah, you save it, save it.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Maybe your daughter would like it one day.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Or maybe I'm not the I'm not putting pressure.
- 45:52Speaker 4: It's not pressure.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I had a dress that I loved and she kept
- 45:56Speaker 2: it for me. I would be so honored.
- 45:59Speaker 1: And what if it was like blue and had like.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Then I'd be like, I thank you so much for
- 46:03Speaker 2: saying this. But maybe maybe I can take a piece
- 46:05Speaker 2: of it and sew it onto minor but like there,
- 46:08Speaker 2: it could be such a special thing. It's it's stunning.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Why would you instantly make it a mini dress?
- 46:14Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna make it a mini but I was
- 46:15Speaker 1: thinking about making it like somebody no, like like taking
- 46:18Speaker 1: off the train and like like making it not like long.
- 46:22Speaker 4: I'm just saying I would preserve it. I would preserve
- 46:25Speaker 4: it at least at least for a year.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Be honest that her was sitting in her closet for
- 46:31Speaker 1: nine years and she donated it.
- 46:35Speaker 6: Scrubber getting married to you's wedding dress. We'll have a
- 46:37Speaker 6: little contest.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna take out because my something blue at the
- 46:42Speaker 1: bottom was like a note that Robbie when he asked
- 46:45Speaker 1: me to be his girlfriend. He got it written on
- 46:47Speaker 1: blue fabric or like blue ink fabric handwriting, and.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Then we stitch it into the bottom of my dress.
- 46:52Speaker 3: That was my something blue.
- 46:53Speaker 1: But I could I could take that piece out and
- 46:56Speaker 1: like frame that and like make that be kind of
- 46:58Speaker 1: like my moment toe, you know what I mean, that
- 47:01Speaker 1: little patch of my.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Wh Why are you so anti keeping your dress?
- 47:05Speaker 3: Anti?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Just like it's going to cost so much money to
- 47:09Speaker 1: clean and preserve because you have to put it in
- 47:10Speaker 1: this like preserve. It's like thousands of dollars, like for.
