Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: By Martin and you are listening to Dad's Bedtime Stories. Tonight,
- 0:13Speaker 1: we're headed back into the Spaceship universe for an idea
- 0:18Speaker 1: brought to you by one of my Patreon sponsors, Jackson.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Jackson's idea was to have an ocean planet where spaceship
- 0:26Speaker 1: turns into a submarine and the kid gets to put
- 0:28Speaker 1: on scuba gear and they find a portal underwater that
- 0:34Speaker 1: apparently leads to a shark world, but they're stopped by
- 0:37Speaker 1: a sea horse named Jackson, who brings them to the
- 0:41Speaker 1: seahorse area or world instead. I thought an underwater world
- 0:46Speaker 1: would be a great idea, so that's exactly what we're
- 0:48Speaker 1: gonna do tonight. Before we get started, I just want
- 0:51Speaker 1: to give a few shout outs. First of all, thank
- 0:54Speaker 1: you to Jackson Rowan, who were the first ones to
- 0:57Speaker 1: sign up for My Dad's Bedtime Stories social share contest,
- 1:03Speaker 1: where they shared the podcast and filled out my Google form.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So they are currently the only two, at least at
- 1:09Speaker 1: the recording of this episode who are in a draw
- 1:12Speaker 1: for a guaranteed story idea. If you want to join
- 1:15Speaker 1: the contest, the details are in the description or show
- 1:18Speaker 1: notes or whatever you call them. Wherever you're listening, just
- 1:22Speaker 1: read up on them, join in and enter for a
- 1:25Speaker 1: guaranteed story idea. Next, I want to give a big
- 1:28Speaker 1: shout out to some Patreon sponsors that have joined in
- 1:31Speaker 1: the past week. Thank you first of all to Connor,
- 1:35Speaker 1: Reiley and Christina who listened to the podcast every night
- 1:40Speaker 1: and recently joined Patreon. It means a lot that you
- 1:43Speaker 1: joined Patreon, so thank you guys. Next up, I'd really
- 1:47Speaker 1: like to thank Cooper, Amelia and Courtney from Seattle for
- 1:52Speaker 1: joining Patreon and sponsoring the podcast very very much appreciated.
- 1:57Speaker 1: As well. Thank you to Eddie Clover and Liz from Maine, USA.
- 2:06Speaker 1: They also joined recently and I really really appreciate it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And the last I'd like to give a shout out
- 2:13Speaker 1: to Henry and Charlie who recently joined Patreon under the
- 2:19Speaker 1: name Henry Charlie. So I don't really know anything else
- 2:22Speaker 1: about them, but I really appreciate you supporting the podcast. Now,
- 2:27Speaker 1: if parents out there want to join Patreon for as
- 2:30Speaker 1: little as one dollar a month, it does get you
- 2:32Speaker 1: had free episodes as well as any bonus content I have.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And that's only twelve dollars for an entire year if
- 2:39Speaker 1: you listen to the podcast a lot. Now, I know
- 2:41Speaker 1: that doesn't work for everyone, and that is why we've
- 2:44Speaker 1: finally gotten some podcast ads back on the podcast. I
- 2:48Speaker 1: know they're annoying in a little intrusive at times, but
- 2:52Speaker 1: they do fund the podcast as well, and as usual,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I make a guarantee to only put them at the
- 2:58Speaker 1: beginning and sort of right near the end of the intro.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm never gonna put them during stories, and I'm never
- 3:05Speaker 1: gonna put a roll at the end. So if you
- 3:07Speaker 1: hear any weird advertisements at the end, let me know
- 3:09Speaker 1: it might be where you're listening, because they're not supposed
- 3:12Speaker 1: to be there. And now a possible break for that
- 3:18Speaker 1: time to close your eyes, get as comfy as you
- 3:22Speaker 1: can in that bed, and imagine yourself doing what the
- 3:26Speaker 1: kid in the story does. You wake up inside your spaceship,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you stretch your arms and legs and head out to
- 3:38Speaker 1: the main part of the ship. Good morning, spaceship says,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I have discovered a very interesting planet. It seems to
- 3:48Speaker 1: be an underwater world. In addition, there is a strange
- 3:55Speaker 1: anomaly coming from below the surface of the ocean and
- 4:01Speaker 1: checking it out could lead to some adventure. Oh interesting, Uh, okay,
- 4:09Speaker 1: let's head for it, you say, understood, course said. Spaceship
- 4:16Speaker 1: turns a little bit to the left and you continue
- 4:19Speaker 1: to blast through hyper space for a little while. Eventually
- 4:24Speaker 1: the ship stops and you find yourself staring at a gigantic,
- 4:30Speaker 1: almost entirely blue planet with the fluffy white clouds flowing overhead.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You move to the control center of the ship, sit
- 4:41Speaker 1: down in the seat and grab a hold of the joystick.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You press forward on the throttle and steer the ship
- 4:49Speaker 1: straight towards the planet. There's a little bit of turbulence
- 4:53Speaker 1: as you pass through the atmosphere and dip below the clouds.
- 5:00Speaker 1: All you can see is ocean, ocean, ocean, and more ocean.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Is there any land here at all? You ask, yes,
- 5:12Speaker 1: spaceship answers below the water is plenty of land. Prepare
- 5:19Speaker 1: for submarine mode. The ship begins to glow around you
- 5:26Speaker 1: and its shape changes slightly. A gigantic circular window appears
- 5:32Speaker 1: at the front, little circular windows at the side, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: the ship hits the water, splashes down and starts to
- 5:42Speaker 1: sink at once. Everything around you turns blue and wavy.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Sunlight pours through the water overhead, and long golden beams
- 5:56Speaker 1: and small silver alien fish dark past the window like
- 6:01Speaker 1: living arrows. Wow, you say, the world outside is beautiful
- 6:09Speaker 1: as you sink down, Tall green sea plants sway back
- 6:14Speaker 1: and forth as if the whole world is breathing. Pink
- 6:18Speaker 1: coral branches spread like underwater trees, Huge smooth rocks lie
- 6:25Speaker 1: on the seafloor, and bright little fish weave in and
- 6:29Speaker 1: out of them. In the distance, something that looks like
- 6:33Speaker 1: a jellyfish drifts past like a glowing floating lantern. You
- 6:39Speaker 1: decide that you'd like to explore this first hand. Uh,
- 6:45Speaker 1: any idea if I can go for a swim myself,
- 6:48Speaker 1: You say yes. Your spacesuit has an underwater mode as well.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You look down at your watch and start to flip
- 6:58Speaker 1: through the different until you come to one that's a
- 7:02Speaker 1: picture of a sort of high tech spacesuit with flippers.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You press the accept button and the suit folds out
- 7:13Speaker 1: around your body, little nanites crawling out of the watch
- 7:17Speaker 1: and forming themselves into armor. Before long, you're entirely protected.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The helmet's a little larger than you're used to, and
- 7:27Speaker 1: it seems to have a bright light on the front
- 7:30Speaker 1: of it, and the feet are giant flippers. You head
- 7:35Speaker 1: to the back of the ship and notice that it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: been changed too. Instead of a simple opening to the outside,
- 7:44Speaker 1: there's now a door that leads to some other little room.
- 7:49Speaker 1: What's this for, you ask? That is for transitioning to
- 7:54Speaker 1: water without getting me entirely wet. Please enter inside. The
- 8:01Speaker 1: chamber will be filled with water, pressurized, and then the
- 8:05Speaker 1: hatch will open, spaceship explains. So you step through the door,
- 8:11Speaker 1: sit down on a little chair. The door closes, an
- 8:15Speaker 1: alarm goes off, and water starts to rise. You feel
- 8:20Speaker 1: perfectly safe in your spacesuit or well scuba gear in
- 8:25Speaker 1: this case. As water fills up the entire room. Once
- 8:30Speaker 1: it's completely full, there's a hissing noise in the back
- 8:34Speaker 1: hatch opens. You swim outside. You start to kick gently
- 8:40Speaker 1: and float over a garden of coral shapes shaped like
- 8:45Speaker 1: spirals and fans and sort of tower like things. Tiny
- 8:51Speaker 1: blue fish zip around your arms. A crab the size
- 8:56Speaker 1: of a dinner plate raises one claw at you as
- 9:00Speaker 1: if it's sort of shaking its fist As you swim past,
- 9:04Speaker 1: Hey crab, you say, as you swim overhead anomaly detected.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Spaceship says, I believe we have found the anomalous reading nearby.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Follow me.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Spaceship darts forward through the water, and you kick your
- 9:23Speaker 1: fins gently and follow behind. If you'd like to go
- 9:28Speaker 1: at a higher speed, just think about moving forward and
- 9:33Speaker 1: you will be pushed forward. You straighten both of your
- 9:38Speaker 1: legs and try just that, almost like magic, Your spacesuit
- 9:45Speaker 1: or well, scuba suit propels you forward through the water.
- 9:51Speaker 1: If you think about going faster, it goes faster, and
- 9:54Speaker 1: if you think about going slower, it goes slower. You
- 9:59Speaker 1: follow behind the ship until you see it. At first
- 10:04Speaker 1: it looks like a giant ring of light, but then
- 10:07Speaker 1: it swirls. The water inside it twists like a spinning
- 10:12Speaker 1: window made of blue green glass. Uh, spaceship, is that
- 10:19Speaker 1: what I think it is? You ask? I believe so.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It is either a portal or one of the fanciest
- 10:28Speaker 1: whirlpools I have ever seen. You turn slowly in the
- 10:33Speaker 1: water and stare at it. It hangs between two coral cliffs,
- 10:38Speaker 1: glowing brighter and brighter. Strange shapes move faintly inside it.
- 10:44Speaker 1: The edges shimmer like moonlight on water. A portal, you whisper,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I believe so, I recommend caution or excitement. It depends
- 10:57Speaker 1: on what's inside. You start swimming towards it. Then something
- 11:04Speaker 1: tiny zips directly in front of your mask. Stop stop, stop,
- 11:08Speaker 1: it says, you, nearly tumble backward. Hovering in front of
- 11:13Speaker 1: you is a little orange seahorse with bright eyes and
- 11:17Speaker 1: a curled tail. It's wearing what appears to be a
- 11:21Speaker 1: tiny shell helmet. You can't go in there, he cries, Uh,
- 11:28Speaker 1: you can talk. The seahorse blinks, of course I can talk,
- 11:33Speaker 1: can't you?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:35Speaker 1: But well, just usually on my planet, seahorses don't talk.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Usually kids don't wear shiny bubble helmets either. But here
- 11:46Speaker 1: we are, he says. Spaceship's voice crackles in your helmet.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I believe I like him. The seahorse spins around dramatically
- 11:57Speaker 1: and points one tiny fin at the poor that he says,
- 12:02Speaker 1: goes to the big bad shark world. You look at
- 12:08Speaker 1: the glowing ring again, the wet the big bad shark world,
- 12:15Speaker 1: he repeats, very big, very bad, and from my experience
- 12:21Speaker 1: full of sharks, that does sound inconvenient, Spaceship adds. The
- 12:28Speaker 1: seahorse puffs himself up. My name is Jackson, he says,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and if you swim through that portal, you'll probably get gobbled, chased,
- 12:40Speaker 1: or chomped, or at the very least glared at in
- 12:44Speaker 1: a very unsettling manner. You glance at spaceship floating nearby
- 12:51Speaker 1: in its submarine form. So you've been in the world,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you asked Jackson. Once, and I ran into one of
- 13:00Speaker 1: the biggest sharks I've ever seen. I got out of
- 13:04Speaker 1: there as quickly as I could, and luckily I got
- 13:07Speaker 1: out with my life. Luck If you came here to explore,
- 13:13Speaker 1: then I can show you something much better than a
- 13:17Speaker 1: terrifying shark portal. I can show you my world. You smile.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Your world, the sea horse reefs, says Jackson, proudly, best
- 13:30Speaker 1: underwater world, and this entire planet. Probably I haven't actually
- 13:35Speaker 1: been everywhere. We accept the probably spaceship ads here follow me,
- 13:43Speaker 1: Jackson says, flicking his tail, he darts away like a
- 13:48Speaker 1: tiny orange arrow, and you swim after him. The deeper
- 13:54Speaker 1: you go, the more amazing everything becomes. The coral opens
- 13:59Speaker 1: into wide underwater streets lined with swaying sea fans and
- 14:04Speaker 1: shell lamps. Curved tunnels of woven seagrass connect little coral homes.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Bubble streams rise up from the seafloor like sparkling fountains,
- 14:17Speaker 1: And everywhere there are sea horses, little sea horses, big
- 14:23Speaker 1: sea horses, red ones, gold ones, purple ones, striped ones.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Some carry baskets of seaberries. Some teach baby sea horses
- 14:33Speaker 1: how to curl their tails around drifting plants. Some race
- 14:37Speaker 1: each other through rings of bubbles. A pair of seahorses
- 14:42Speaker 1: zoom past you, shouting out of the way, urgent bubble delivery.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Welcome to my world, Jackson says. He leads you to
- 14:53Speaker 1: a coral archway of swirling carvings of seahorses and waves.
- 14:59Speaker 1: This is the sad her Reef, he says. That's the school,
- 15:04Speaker 1: that's the shell market, and that's my house. The house
- 15:09Speaker 1: is tucked inside a giant spiral shell, with little polished
- 15:13Speaker 1: stones outside, and a sign made of driftwood that says
- 15:17Speaker 1: Jackson in sort of wobbly letters. You have your own house,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you ask, well, I share it with my family, says Jackson.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm not rich, you know. A large seahorse glides over.
- 15:33Speaker 1: She's blue green, with a necklace made of tiny pearls. Jackson,
- 15:39Speaker 1: She says, who is this. This is my new friend,
- 15:44Speaker 1: says Jackson, and also his talkative submarine. The seahorse lady
- 15:50Speaker 1: looks at you kindly welcome. I'm Jackson's mother. Nice to
- 15:57Speaker 1: meet you, you say, and I am Spaceship, says Spaceship.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Jackson's mother nods. That's good. Jackson tugs on your sleeve.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Come on, I'll show you the best part. Jackson leads
- 16:14Speaker 1: you to the heart of the reef, where a dozen
- 16:17Speaker 1: sea horses are gathered in an open coral circle. What's
- 16:22Speaker 1: happening here, you ask? A. Yeah, well, a sort of production,
- 16:28Speaker 1: Jackson answers, and slowly and softly, the sea horses begin
- 16:35Speaker 1: to sing, and as they sing, other fish begin to
- 16:41Speaker 1: join them, swimming around in circles, off in different patterns.
- 16:48Speaker 1: The whole thing looks kind of like a fireworks display
- 16:51Speaker 1: made entirely of fish, or a musical theater production. It's beautiful,
- 16:59Speaker 1: it's color, it sounds amazing. That is beautiful, you tell Jackson.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I know, this whole place is absolutely amazing. Other than
- 17:12Speaker 1: the portal, Uh yeah, has that always been there? You ask?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Unfortunately no, We seahorses used to live in peace until
- 17:26Speaker 1: that portal appeared. One day some of us ventured inside
- 17:32Speaker 1: but never came back. And as you know, when I
- 17:36Speaker 1: went to check things out, all I saw was a
- 17:40Speaker 1: gigantic shark. Life here used to be way better before
- 17:46Speaker 1: that portal. Now everybody's too scared to do anything fun
- 17:51Speaker 1: or go too far from the village. Well, why don't
- 17:56Speaker 1: we actually go check out the portal and see if
- 17:59Speaker 1: we can like close it or something. Spaceship's pretty good
- 18:02Speaker 1: at things like that, you suggest, Really you think you
- 18:07Speaker 1: could close it?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah? Maybe, what do you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Think, Spaceship, I am very skilled at detecting and dealing
- 18:17Speaker 1: with anomalies. I will search my data banks, but first
- 18:21Speaker 1: we must explore the anomaly further. You mean you want
- 18:27Speaker 1: to go into shark world. I guess so it's okay.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Though Spaceship can protect us, you can even like come
- 18:37Speaker 1: inside the ship if you want. There's no way sharks
- 18:41Speaker 1: will hurt us inside that thing. Your ship can withstand
- 18:47Speaker 1: the attacks of a shark. Jackson asks, I think so.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I mean it's dealt with like laser beams and giant
- 18:56Speaker 1: robots before. I'm pretty sure you're gonna be safe from
- 18:59Speaker 1: a shark inside it. Well, then I will join you.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Lead the way you swim over to Spaceship. The back
- 19:09Speaker 1: hatch opens and you and Jackson move inside. You find
- 19:14Speaker 1: a little bull sitting on the bench. The bull is
- 19:18Speaker 1: for the seahorse, Spaceship explains, he will want to be
- 19:23Speaker 1: inside it before the water leaves. Jackson listens and swims
- 19:28Speaker 1: inside the bowl. The back hatch closes and all of
- 19:33Speaker 1: the water starts to drain out of the ship. You
- 19:37Speaker 1: press the button on your watch and your space suit
- 19:40Speaker 1: armor folds back inside it. Then you move over to
- 19:45Speaker 1: the little fish bowl, where Jackson still sitting. You pick
- 19:49Speaker 1: it up and move into the ship itself. Wow, this
- 19:54Speaker 1: is pretty cool inside, like your own little house mobile house.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I guess, so, you say, as you walk
- 20:06Speaker 1: over to the command center and place Jackson on the dashboard.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You sit down in the seat, grab a hold of
- 20:14Speaker 1: the controls, and turn Spaceship around. All right, everyone, let's
- 20:20Speaker 1: head back to that portal and see what's really inside.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You press forward on the throttle and Spaceship starts to
- 20:30Speaker 1: zip forward back up through the coral and to where
- 20:35Speaker 1: you originally found the anomaly. The glowing swirling portal sits
- 20:41Speaker 1: in front of you. All right, everyone, are you ready
- 20:45Speaker 1: to go through? Three two one. But before you can
- 20:51Speaker 1: press on the throttle, the portal shimmers and something passes
- 20:56Speaker 1: through it, something large, almost as large as spaceship itself,
- 21:04Speaker 1: A gigantic shark. Oh no, spaceship initiate defenses, understood, spaceship says,
- 21:15Speaker 1: And immediately a whole bunch of laser cannons fold out
- 21:19Speaker 1: from the ship and point directly at the gigantic shark.
- 21:24Speaker 2: WHOA, what's that about? The shark says.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You press down on the speaker button and begin to
- 21:33Speaker 1: speak to the creature. You can talk, you say, of
- 21:39Speaker 1: course I can talk. You can talk. Uh, yeah, we
- 21:45Speaker 1: can talk too. We're inside the submarine. Oh I thought
- 21:51Speaker 1: you were the submarine, though I've never seen a submarine before.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Have you guys seen my nephew, the shark asks your nephew. Yes, Billy,
- 22:09Speaker 1: we always tell him not to go through the portal,
- 22:13Speaker 1: But does he listen?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Now?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Now my sister's making it everyone's problem.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So I said.
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'd brave things and come through here to find them.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Even though we're told that this place is a nightmare. Wait,
- 22:32Speaker 1: you're afraid of this place? Of course I am. As
- 22:37Speaker 1: far as we understand. It's full of tiny, little horse
- 22:43Speaker 1: like creatures that zip from place to place.
- 22:47Speaker 2: They're creepy. You look over at.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Jackson and then back at the giant viewing screen and
- 22:53Speaker 1: press down on the button again. You're afraid of the seahorses?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Is that what they call themselves? Those things are weird.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I was once sitting around on my side of the portal,
- 23:11Speaker 1: just minding my own business, when a little orange one
- 23:15Speaker 1: zipped straight into me. He just about scared the daylight
- 23:20Speaker 1: out of me. Then he zipped back through just as quickly. Ugh,
- 23:27Speaker 1: the feeling it gave me weird. Anyways, we sharks decided
- 23:33Speaker 1: to stay on our own side of the portal, but
- 23:37Speaker 1: little Billy didn't listen.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Have you guys seen.
- 23:41Speaker 1: A little shark around here about this tall No, but
- 23:48Speaker 1: we could help you find him. Oh that would be great.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Just be careful. There's a lot of little seahorses around here.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They're so weird. So you begin to search around the area.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Jackson leads you to all of the good possible hiding spots. Man,
- 24:09Speaker 1: I think there's a cave over here. He could be
- 24:11Speaker 1: in that, Jackson says. You steer the ship over towards
- 24:17Speaker 1: a large cave and slowly make your way inside. But
- 24:23Speaker 1: no shark. Next, Jackson leads you over to a coral maze.
- 24:29Speaker 1: He could have gotten trapped in the maze. He guides
- 24:34Speaker 1: you and the shark left and right, up and down
- 24:38Speaker 1: through the very intricate maze. But again you don't find
- 24:44Speaker 1: the shark anywhere. Ah, maybe some people at the village
- 24:49Speaker 1: will know where he is, Jackson says, you press the
- 24:54Speaker 1: button on the speaker and announce it to the shark.
- 24:58Speaker 1: We're wondering if we should check the seahorse village. Maybe
- 25:01Speaker 1: somebody else there has seen him. You say, you want
- 25:07Speaker 1: me to go to an entire village of those creepy
- 25:11Speaker 1: little horse creatures. The shark asks, ugh, I don't know
- 25:17Speaker 1: if I could do that. You could come in the
- 25:21Speaker 1: ship if you want to. You say, oh, yeah, I
- 25:27Speaker 1: would probably be better. You open up the back hatch.
- 25:32Speaker 1: The shark swims inside, and spaceship closes the hatch, keeping
- 25:38Speaker 1: him behind the little windowed wall.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Oh this place is amazing. Wait a second, is that
- 25:48Speaker 2: a sea horse I see up there? The shark says, uh, yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 2: but don't worry, he's not gonna hurt you.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't be so sh sure. You steer the ship
- 26:02Speaker 1: back down towards the seahorse village, through the coral, past
- 26:09Speaker 1: Jackson's house, and to the town center, where the same
- 26:13Speaker 1: sort of production is still going on, singing seahorses, swimming
- 26:19Speaker 1: fish and a little kid sized shark swimming around in
- 26:26Speaker 1: the middle. What that, Hey, press the button for me,
- 26:30Speaker 1: Jackson says. You press down on the speaker button, and
- 26:34Speaker 1: Jackson begins to talk. Ah, guys, isn't that a shark?
- 26:40Speaker 1: You ask the other sea horses look at the shark
- 26:44Speaker 1: and then back at the submarine.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Uh, yeah it is. But he's so cool and so nice.
- 26:51Speaker 3: He even told us that the whole other side of
- 26:54Speaker 3: the portal is absolutely beautiful and that sharks this are
- 27:01Speaker 3: afraid of sea horses do.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I sort of heard that already. Anyways, shark,
- 27:12Speaker 1: whatever your name is, your uncle's with us. He's been
- 27:15Speaker 1: looking for you, Uncle Ron. The shark says, Oh, her
- 27:22Speaker 1: uncle Ron.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Hih, sorry I got lost.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Tell him his mother's been worried. Ah, your mother's been worried,
- 27:34Speaker 1: Jackson says over the speaker. Follow us back to the portal.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Okay, I guess we better go.
- 27:43Speaker 1: You turn the ship around once again and lead the
- 27:48Speaker 1: little shark up through the coral back over to the portal,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and you finally enter inside, followed by the little shark.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Then you open up the back hatch and let the
- 28:03Speaker 1: big shark out.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Thank you, The big.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Shark says, you have shown true kindness. And it turns
- 28:14Speaker 1: out those sea horses might not be as scary as
- 28:18Speaker 1: we thought. It turns out sharks might not be so
- 28:24Speaker 1: bad either. In fact, this whole shark area is absolutely beautiful,
- 28:32Speaker 1: Jackson admits, and he's right. The Shark city, your shark
- 28:38Speaker 1: world is absolutely beautiful, like Jackson's world. It's filled with coral,
- 28:45Speaker 1: reefs and seaweed and beautiful colored fish of all different
- 28:51Speaker 1: shapes and sizes. Maybe seahorses and sharks can't get along
- 28:58Speaker 1: after all, maybe, the shark, admits you suddenly yawn.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Oh well, this has been fun and all, but uh,
- 29:12Speaker 3: I think I should probably get you back home.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Jackson. This has been a really weird journey. Honestly, eh,
- 29:20Speaker 1: I understand, but at least you've taught us something about
- 29:24Speaker 1: the sharks, and the sharks something about us. There's nothing
- 29:28Speaker 1: to be afraid of anymore, right, I mean, except like
- 29:34Speaker 1: being eaten by a shark. You say, what do you mean, Jackson, responds, well,
- 29:42Speaker 1: as much as they're afraid of see yours, as they
- 29:44Speaker 1: could definitely eat you. You are really small compared to them.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I'd never even thought of that, Jackson says, as you
- 29:55Speaker 1: walk his fish bowl back out to the back of
- 29:58Speaker 1: the ship. This gives me a lot to think about,
- 30:02Speaker 1: Jackson says. As you place him down on the bench
- 30:06Speaker 1: and make your way back into the main part of
- 30:09Speaker 1: the ship. You close the door and the back hatch
- 30:13Speaker 1: fills with water once again. Jackson swims out of the
- 30:17Speaker 1: bowl and the hatch opens up. Spaceship slowly rises up
- 30:25Speaker 1: to the surface of the planet through the seaweed, past
- 30:29Speaker 1: the coral reefs until it pops up and begins to
- 30:34Speaker 1: float on the surface. Then the ship glows around you
- 30:39Speaker 1: once again and forms itself back into its traditional spaceship mode.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You lift up off of the ground and the water
- 30:51Speaker 1: streams off of the ship. It rises up through the clouds,
- 30:57Speaker 1: through the atmosphere, and out into space once again. You,
- 31:03Speaker 1: feeling tired after such a strange adventure, head to your bedroom.
- 31:09Speaker 1: You crawl into your bed, You pull the covers up
- 31:14Speaker 1: to your chin, and you close your eyes. The lights
- 31:20Speaker 1: dim and you start to focus on your breath. With
- 31:25Speaker 1: each breath, your arms and legs begin to relax just
- 31:31Speaker 1: a little bit more, Sinking deeper and deeper into the mattress,
- 31:39Speaker 1: you let go of the tension from your shoulders, from
- 31:43Speaker 1: your neck, from your head, and your face, until you're
- 31:50Speaker 1: just gently floating on the bed. The more you breathe,
- 31:56Speaker 1: the deeper you sink, and the deeper you think, the
- 32:00Speaker 1: better you feel, until your mind starts to wander off
- 32:07Speaker 1: to thoughts of new dreams, new planets, and new adventures
- 32:14Speaker 1: to come. Good night, everyone, la never nion.
- 35:01Speaker 2: A name ACoM never.
- 38:33Speaker 1: In New yor
- 40:53Speaker 3: More unionism thing no
