- 0:42Speaker 1: I'm also recording into my digital audio workstation.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So if you would enjoy me, this is what it'd be like One, two, three computers, two separate screens, cup of coffee this is water.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I've had my coffee and this is like enjoy tea in her apartment room because this is for my cat.
- 1:03Speaker 1: He may decide to join us.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So I think I might be doing something.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I might be reading your diary entry and you're thinking girl, how could you be reading my diary?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Let's try this out.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Let me see if this isn't sound like something like maybe from you.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I don't have a memorized, so if I have to look down.

- 1:29Speaker 1: We're going and getting real.
- 1:30Speaker 1: We're getting up in your face.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I like getting up in their face with good things.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Okay, here we go, listen in.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You can close your eyes if you want.
- 1:39Speaker 1: If you're driving, please don't.
- 1:42Speaker 1: This is a diary entry, and images may be yours.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Today was a mixture of inspiration and frustration.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I found a new video by my favorite teacher that spoke right to my heart, filling me with a renewed sense of purpose.
- 1:56Speaker 1: She talked about authenticity and the courage to speak one's truth, something I've been struggling with for so long.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I spent some time working on my dream, my online business, my startup, but I felt like I was on a treadmill, going nowhere.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The more I tried to connect with my audience, the more I felt lost.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Then there was the technical aspects of the internet.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Still feel a little overwhelming there, and sometimes I just feel like a fraud.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Am I really meant to speak my message?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Am I good enough?
- 2:31Speaker 1: Is this dream real?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Can I really connect with others?
- 2:36Speaker 1: My family has been so supportive for the most part.
- 2:40Speaker 1: There is a friction with my husband.
- 2:42Speaker 1: He does not seem to see the way I do, and sometimes balancing being a wife, a mom and pursuing my dreams is a challenge.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Kind of lonely at times.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I look at my children and I see the future.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm fighting for this, my future, my legacy.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I believe God is destined for me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Okay, I'm getting a lot of dramatic on your diary entry, but there are times when doubt creeps in and I feel exhausted.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Your diary continues.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I picked up the Bible again looking for some encouragement.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It helps, yes, greatly helps.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But how do I bridge this gap, knowing the real change needs to come from within, how do I bridge that gap between the now and the not?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yet I'm just really struggling.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I wish I had someone patient enough to guide me, someone who understands the fears and aspirations I have, someone who will tell me I'm not crazy about what I believe deep down is the lane I should be going on.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Someone who will say who said that you can't make money from your dreams and your passions?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Who said that no, dramatic there on that one.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So tonight, as I lay in bed, my mind drifts to the connections and people I still want to touch and encourage, and I even see stages, a dream of standing on, speaking with confidence and authenticity.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I see the faces of those I can inspire, the lives I can touch, whether on a stage or even online.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Your diary ends.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I see the faces of those I can inspire, the lives I can touch.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I know in my heart that God wants me to speak to share my truth, but the path seems impossible.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I pray for courage and guidance.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I hold on to my values honesty, authenticity, family, god and truth.
- 4:45Speaker 1: They are the compass that directs me.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Let's add peace in there.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'll continue to work hard and strive to be real.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I won't give up on my dreams In faith and hope.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Signed your name.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Am I speaking to you?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Am I speaking like that?
- 5:04Speaker 1: If that was a diary entry, how did Teresa get in?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Or read my diary?
- 5:08Speaker 1: I see that all the time when people read my mind or read my, you know what do you call it Read my book.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But I think there's a purpose for that.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And just this one little podcast.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I wanna talk to you about the pressure you may feel.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You know the days when you do feel worn down amidst the battles of finding your authentic voice and going forward.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You know, so often it's like you can get assaulted by your belief system, which doesn't line up with the promises of God.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know, my biggest one was that I'm working on going on 120 days.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm not good enough.
- 5:47Speaker 1: So if I think I'm not good enough, then I've gotta learn another plan.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I've gotta do this, I gotta do that.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Am I giving my clients a good enough service and it's just not a fun place?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Or maybe you're in this place.
- 6:00Speaker 1: This hits me too.
- 6:01Speaker 1: The imposter syndrome where I think I have to continue to prove myself.
- 6:08Speaker 1: The imposter syndrome where I wonder what other people will think?
- 6:12Speaker 1: And are they thinking I'm fake?
- 6:13Speaker 1: So I better take just yet another course, yet another course, and stuff it down and not get any action out of it.
- 6:20Speaker 1: There's such thing as a Colby score and it's non-personality, it's your instincts, and I rank real high in the first one, which is called fact finder.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I'm like a seven and then an execution.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm kind of low.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So I was gently instructed that I don't need another course.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I mean, I always was taking a course.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Can you relate to me?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Instead of putting into action what my desire is gonna drink some water, my coffee.
- 6:51Speaker 1: So grab a cup of coffee, let's talk about this.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The imposter syndrome is where I left off.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Sometimes that really shows up and you really you don't think you're good enough and you're like freaking brilliant.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Am I talking to anyone?
- 7:06Speaker 1: You are like freaking brilliant and you do not need that other.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You don't need that PhD, you don't need that doctorate.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's great to have that next to your name, but maybe you just need to be like a, as my therapist, my dear friend, says like get on the bicycle and start pedaling.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm not pressure, okay.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So I want you to know though I missed all these battles of just going forward and finding your voice that there are many others who face these internal struggles, as I'm sharing some of mine.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I want you to know, though, you're not alone in your own journey.
- 7:39Speaker 1: In your journey, you can discover something, and this is what I've discovered.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's called the power of pressing into heaven.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Another way of saying it like, let's say, you got a prayer for a friend and you, instead of getting down and burdened, you put that pressure in the heavenlies.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You're literally in your mind push that pressure in the heavenlies.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It doesn't mean you don't ignore and don't work, but you're trying to work from a mindset that says hey, I can do this, I'm resolute and following what God's telling me to do what God's telling you to do.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Can I touch on that?
- 8:17Speaker 1: I've been journaling for years and then it was like this I would be journaling and reading the word and I'd get an idea and I'm like, oh, push that away, I'm having my quite done with God.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I can't think about that, I'm gonna go back to reading.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then that idea comes back in.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Bill Johnson from Reading really freed me up.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He said you're spending time with your friend Jesus.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You're spending time with the Almighty God.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Maybe he's giving you that idea.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Maybe he's like I'd always get marketing ideas.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Maybe he's giving you that idea while you spend time with him.
- 8:52Speaker 1: He says what I do is on another note, I'll just.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Okay, I need to speak with Joe tomorrow, or oh, I need to write that down, but that's cool.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Or sometimes I'm like I'm sitting there, I'm like, oh, just a sec, let me go into my Evernote and write that down.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So be resolute.
- 9:07Speaker 1: That's like the number one key is this is your time.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So started off with hearing from the one who probably gave you the dream in the first place.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Probably gave you the dream in the first place, and I really believe when he gives you a dream, gives you a purpose.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He more than gives you grace to walk in there, to walk in that purpose.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'm smiling because if you don't hear me, I'm just looking at the camera and smiling because that's my pause to say do you hear me?
- 9:41Speaker 1: So I really believe this is your time, friend.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Your season is shifting.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Can I declare that for you?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Your season is shifting.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You face the fire.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You stood on the front lines of your own battles and maybe you feel the effects of those spiritual warfare around you, but you're going to press forward.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Can I give you three tips that you can take away?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Just three basic tips.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Take away Number one stay in the vineyard, the vineyard.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Stay in the vineyard.
- 10:13Speaker 1: John 15.
- 10:13Speaker 1: He's the vine dresser.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You get to be part of the branch, cling to the vine.
- 10:20Speaker 1: The vine dresser does all the work.
- 10:22Speaker 1: The vine grows and you're just attached to the vine.
- 10:25Speaker 1: So as you grow, the vine grows, jesus grows, as he is in the world.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So are you.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Stay in the vineyard knowing you're designed.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You're designed in your very DNA to win these battles.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Number two climb out of the pit with praise and thanksgiving and stand tall.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You matter.
- 10:46Speaker 1: When you climb out of the pit, I always think of Psalm 103, where it says he redeems my life from the pit.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Let me think about that.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Bless the Lord all my soul and all that's within me.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Bless his holy name.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Bless the Lord, all my soul, and never forget of benefits.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Who pardons all my iniquities, who heals all my diseases and who redeems my life from the pit.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I knew I had to quote that to get that out of the pit, with praise and thanksgiving and just a little break in this particular episode.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Hey, I want to point you to TeresaCroftcom.
- 11:23Speaker 1: My heart is to serve you, to see you truly find your voice.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So check it out now, teresacroftcom.
- 11:29Speaker 1: You'll get a chance to get a free report.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Also, check out the tab of vision.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Get a heart behind this podcast.
- 11:40Speaker 1: All right, let's jump back into the episode this.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Can I take a little left turn and share something about climbing out of the pit with something I've learned?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Powerful Climb out of the pit with an expectancy mode.
- 11:57Speaker 1: It's a mindset.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I can't tell you scientifically exactly.
- 12:00Speaker 1: If I had Alana on, she'd tell you, but this is one thing.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Alana is my friend who has been a diggin' deep ends, my therapist, a certified neuropsychal facilitator, but this is one of the most powerful things I learned.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So climbing out of the pit with an expectancy mindset.
- 12:15Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 12:16Speaker 1: It means you go forward and you expect people lined up for what you have.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You expect the provision to come.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You expect what you want, even if you don't have evidence around you.
- 12:28Speaker 1: You expect and how do you expect?
- 12:32Speaker 1: From the foundation of Thanksgiving?
- 12:33Speaker 1: Jesus had to feed 5,000.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It was given five loaves of bread.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Look at the expectancy in action.
- 12:42Speaker 1: What did he do?
- 12:43Speaker 1: He broke the bread for our sake.
- 12:46Speaker 1: He lifted it up to his father and thanked him for the bread and then, boom, he fed 5,000.
- 12:52Speaker 1: He had an expectancy mindset, like Sarah.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Now, after Sarah was done laughing at God, look at her expectancy mindset that she had because she laughed.
- 13:02Speaker 1: But then there was a turn of her mindset into an expectancy mindset.
- 13:07Speaker 1: But listen to this.
- 13:08Speaker 1: He was 11, verse 11 in the Passion Translation.
- 13:14Speaker 1: She, her faith, first embraced God's miracle working power.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So she's like that's a mindset I'm going to thank God for his miracle working power, even though she was barren, even though she was past childbearing.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But then let's this her faith rested in the authority of the one who promised and she tapped into his faithfulness.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And that is an expectancy.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I don't know what is like I'm barren, I'm past, I don't see any evidence.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But I'm going to cling to God.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I'm going to expect him to move and my expecting is coming from the authority of the one who made the promise.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but that gets me totally excited, really thrilled.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And then there's Abraham, the husband of Sarah.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I should have talked to him first, but you know, god told him he would have children as high, you know, as many as the stars in the sky.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And he looked up the sky and looked at his frail, barren woman.
- 14:10Speaker 1: But you know what fit, what Abraham did, romans 4, verse four.
- 14:13Speaker 1: He called those things as, not as though they were.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Now, that's some ways to climb out of the pit, friend.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, keep the Thanksgiving appraise going, but use a little mindset.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Get some help.
- 14:26Speaker 1: It's okay to get help.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And number number of my on 123.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Number three is check out Ephesians one and take massive notes.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Excuse me, ephesians one and two.
- 14:40Speaker 1: This will be an identity shore up for you.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Read it, I challenge you.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Read it 30 days, ephesians one and two, and write down everything that it says about you that you're chosen, that you belong in with God, that you're in God, that he's called you out of darkness into light.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I don't know if that's in that verse, but that's what I'm thinking of.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Ephesians one and two.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I always told my, my members of the Kingdom Mentor Academy years ago that I had always said, man, you guys let's have a identity check.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Come on, let's, let's go over Ephesians one and two.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Let's let's get out our note cards.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Or, for me, now, let's get those two notes.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Let's start saying who we are.
- 15:23Speaker 1: That has nothing in.
- 15:24Speaker 1: This is mine.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Is that one?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in day identity and God is by divine design.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I'm in my office so I'm going to splatter you with some.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This is my one of my best, best declarations serve the person.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You want to work.
- 15:41Speaker 1: My husband's death is not my identity, but my heart is to serve the person.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I once was in the midst of marriage.
- 15:52Speaker 1: That was tough at times, many times, and in the midst of the last eight months being horrific From third degree burns, october to February the next year, diagnosis of cancer, dropping everything, feeling so lonely.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But now, months later or over a year later, I want to serve the person I once was Part of.
- 16:20Speaker 1: That will be a very how do I say this?
- 16:24Speaker 1: A very severe, deep place, but I want to make sure that I speak from a healed place, a whole place, and not a wounded place.
- 16:33Speaker 1: So Ephesians 2, and then the last thing I want you to do is make a declaration I am seated with Christ.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I am seated with Christ.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I do not let the pressure of the battle stop my destiny.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I am a victor.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I love saying declarations before a vine dresser word pours out of me.
- 16:54Speaker 1: There's something about repeating who you are in him that helps that shift, that mental shift that helps you walk away from the pressures.
- 17:05Speaker 1: The pressure still may be there, but you're walking above them and not letting them tumble you on you.
- 17:11Speaker 1: When in the past, when I would feel pressure and depression, I would go to bed and take a nap.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You can tell how I was doing.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I mean not a nap to rest, it was like I can't stand what's going on.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So I'm going to smother myself in sleep and I'm just going to nap all day.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Now I know when to take a nap and it's not that kind of nap.
- 17:30Speaker 1: All right, so I actually have a piece of a vine dresser word for you.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Wow, I wasn't really thinking that, but can I share that You're saying?
- 17:41Speaker 1: Well, I'm just, I haven't been around enough to talk about my dresser.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You may be new because I'm doing this live.
- 17:46Speaker 1: My dresser is just something, the way I got out of the pit to find my voice again.
- 17:51Speaker 1: A number of years ago I got let go of a job that I really loved and I felt like I lost it.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I was already writing these words before I got the job, but I so poured myself into this job.
- 18:02Speaker 1: My husband did say, teresa, you've lost your voice.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So after they, the publisher, replaced me.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I went back to writing words and when I say listen to the vine dresser, it was mostly just for me.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I mean I would just like OK, I'm going through this, I need what's the declaration and talk to me Jesus, and I would write down what he said.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Sometimes I'd share him, sometimes I would obviously have shared him more because I got three devotions on Amazon.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Ok.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So I'm going to read part of the vine dresser, but before I do I want you to know that you can go over to Teresa Croft dot com and receive a free resource that might help you.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It also leads to a 30 minute call with me to be able to talk to you and see if we can't find your authentic voice, find the lane you're meant to be in, because I really believe I know it's a three of the line just I really believe I'm talking to you and you've hung on this long, that you're meant to speak online and I believe there are some stages saved for you to speak.
- 19:03Speaker 1: We got to get our act together.
- 19:06Speaker 1: We got to get our mindset together.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We got to get that expectancy mindset going.
- 19:12Speaker 1: We got to get on the bike and ride.
- 19:14Speaker 1: We got to get hold before we get on the bike.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Listen to the vine dresser.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You abide in an intimate position with me in the heavenlies.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You live powerfully as you trust my explosive propensity flowing in and through you.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You are my conquering warrior, my much loved daughter.
- 19:33Speaker 1: It is who you are in the vine.
- 19:36Speaker 1: This is just a short part of it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I believe in you, friend.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I believe in you, victory's on the other side of this battle.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Together, we'll embrace your unique voice and you'll speak with authority and authenticity.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You can join me as your voice coach, as your mentor, as we go forward in the vine.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Jesus isn't saying that that was finished.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Join Teresa.
- 20:01Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry, that was silly.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Sorry, not sorry, thank you.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So I wanna end with verse Proverbs 17, verse three.
- 20:10Speaker 1: We'll just wrap this up.
- 20:12Speaker 1: In the same way that gold and silver are refined by fire, the Lord purifies your heart by the tests and trials of life.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So it's okay to have that journey journal entry, that diary.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Keep writing in your diary, keep expressing, because I really believe, from my perspective of 12, 13, maybe 15 years of journaling every day, oftentimes, as I'm journaling and laying it out, god rises up, either through scripture or either through a call from a friend at the right time.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Those were rare, but at the right time.
- 20:45Speaker 1: God met me right where I was and I believe God will meet you right where you are.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So appreciate you listening to this edition of the Kingdom Mentor Podcast.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Hey, do me a favor.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Will you write a review, not for a pat on the back, but for this can spread to more people.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Better yet, not better yet.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Share it on Facebook.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Take a picture, tag me and I'll tag you, just a way to share a message, and it's really a big favor to me.
