- 0:05[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in happy Friday 6.35 a.m. May 1st.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_03]: Happy May Day.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_03]: Right today.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_03]: Is that today?
- 0:12[SPEAKER_03]: May Day?
- 0:12[SPEAKER_03]: Is that is it always the first of me?
- 0:14[SPEAKER_03]: I have no idea.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_03]: Eric, what's your favorite May Floor?
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have a flower of choice?
- 0:19[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have a flower guy at all?
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 0:22[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's okay.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's my grandpa had a big greenhouse growing up and my dad's a landscape architect so I had to you know enjoy all the the growth and everything and also mills my son for those I don't know when he go to Costco now he's obsessed with the flowers and we have to bring flowers home from mama which is like.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: So cute.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_03]: And how do you say no to that?
- 0:45[SPEAKER_03]: So my favorite flower.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome to the full balsha is probably the glacier Lily.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_03]: If you've heard of that before, but it's something that a very beautiful spawns up almost directly out of snow in the high alpine and it lasts maybe five days a week.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_03]: But you got to like hit the right almost exact perfect moment that snow melts.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_03]: Then you see I'm just covering the hillside.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I climbed up to
- 1:08[SPEAKER_03]: Mount Olympus, 4th of July, weekend, back in, uh, got it been 20, 20, 22.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe 20, 21.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, climbing up to Blue Glacier, one of the coolest views in the lower 48 and just avalanche the least everywhere.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_03]: So, always hold that and then, uh, happy me, everybody.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_03]: Well, Eric, I mean, I'm, I'm just chatting away.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_03]: So I thought I'd get you with the flower question.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_03]: How are you doing?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: What's good?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, are you starting to kind of just,
- 1:35[SPEAKER_03]: Slow down your heart rate a little bit.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_03]: Instead of your pulse and feeling better after the draft.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: Not that you weren't feeling good, but I know it's a mad dash to get there.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's not quite over.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you have like, it's like a season of television.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: Climax is the second to last episode, normally, and then you got to tie up the loose ends as the downward of the plot.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's been nice.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't had to do.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously as much work, it's no more watching film for a little while for anything like that.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I've been able to catch up on on some other stuff, some TV shows, some movies as well as sleep.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's still that grind though.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's still that as you said.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's all that post-strap coverage that you got to kind of got to do.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I actually am pretty much passed all that to.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's like still one or more two things that I got to get written up.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I'm glad it's I normally take about a week off or so at this time about this time about a week after the draft I've done with it, but that's coming in June, so I still got a little while before I get my full break away from all of it, but yeah, I mean it's the draft came it went and it went really well and just excited to, you know, get onto the next phase of, you know, cover in the Broncos.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm excited for just kind of the puzzle pieces that mostly been set.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_03]: And now we get to just kind of think about how they all fit together.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_03]: Now that's what we're going to be talking about today, the Dept Chart update.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we're exactly the Broncos are going to be fill it in these reviews.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe there's a few spots still where we look at it.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: And like, yeah, maybe use a little bit more help here.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_03]: Luckily for us, we've done this type of show, at least I've done this type of show, Eric U and I,
- 3:20[SPEAKER_03]: Luckily, since we've been doing these shows, Denver's been pretty good, but we've done this show in the past and it's been like, man, the roster's staying.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: So you need this, this, this, this, and this to hit, and for that broken, bonus rookie year, it did happen.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, I don't know, man, Denver's what predicted five wins, six wins, and then up winning 11, but making the play off.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see, we'll see, but talk about, we'll see.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: We'll say hi to everybody in the chat coming in here, Denver Luke, great
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: I'll drink to that, Eric.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_03]: I had two pops of coffee yesterday.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't feel very good.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: And it maybe it was the three hours of sleep.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_03]: But, uh...
- 4:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, I was, I was a weird feeling.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_03]: I was vibrating, I couldn't sit still.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_03]: Keith coming in here, good morning, Broncos Country, a big mouth-high salute to all y'all.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: How am I?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_03]: Mile-high salute to you as well, Keith.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe a little one, so I don't knock the camera, bump the camera or anything, but appreciate you.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: Right, I was born in the house.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_03]: Roy says good morning and all of good morning to us Eric Dylan as well.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'll I'll extend that good morning over to Dylan and all the Broncos country.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks, Roy.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I hope you're doing well.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_03]: I know Roy was a little bit, uh, oops, sorry about that.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_03]: A little bit, uh,
- 4:44[SPEAKER_03]: We dig in to this group, specifically the Oniadom pick, and we'll talk about Eric, I said, do something yesterday that I'd like to talk about a little bit, but we're going to like the Oniadom pick again with a caveat.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: He went 68 overall on a down draft, so I'm not expecting him to be Jeffrey Simmons or some different type of player, but you know that kind of guy, but still going to be good, and I think we'll get into it somewhere.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_03]: Daniel Barry sports was up, everybody.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: Happy Friday.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: God bless, it's Friday.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm really, I need the weekend.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not planning on working this weekend for the first time since January, I think.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: Derek, good to see us a good morning fellows.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: Thoughts in the running back depth chart will rookie running back work his way up to the rotation or will he start this season.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna get into that, Derek.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna get into that, I want to just say hello, but that's one of the main topics in the body of the episode.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_03]: So, Jonah Coleman.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: Bronco running back one of the first picks of day three fourth running back taken off the board and somebody who a lot of people like Continuing about it.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we got Todd of course good to see a Todd says hello Broncos country JB is if Colman's taken running back spot who will be number two on the kick return When our micros viewers went down the bills.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: It was biday and jaleel what if men's gets taken off returns again.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: Who's number three who I have this great question Eric.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have any thoughts about the
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that if you read my undrafted free agent article that I had about in their shots of being able to make it, I actually had an undrafted free agent making it for a surprise reason.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: And it was actually kick return.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: So it was called Becatsis.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: So word has been, is that Darren was the absolutely loves what he can do with him on returns.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously it's upwards battle.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's got a few guys over him that he's got to, you know, try to work into it.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: it does sound like they would like to get more out of RJ Harvey as the Capri Turner and kind of pair him there, which kind of fills that you get another running back.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then and then after that, it's it's open competition.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you know, I'm not putting big money on Colby Cats is making it, but he is apparently wanting to keep an eye out with how much Lizzie absolutely loves the kid.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: Man.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you guys heard it here first for me, huh?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll keep an eye on that.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, a lot of times, I think I said it on Monday, show Eric, but for undrafted free agents, you guys are more on the depth of those guys.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: For me, I mean, how many undrafted's actually make the roster?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: I hate to be that person, but you got to show me a little something, and I got to hear a little something before I'm going to get invested in somebody like you.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: unless they're Hawkeye's.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, then there, God's gift to the Earth.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: Moving forward to good to see also Shilo in the house, good to see you out in Minnesota.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Denver Luke said two pots of coffee and you're probably running into the bathroom.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: No comment.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_03]: Todd says if the national media thinks only Adam was a reach at 66 and there would have been anyone available who might have been available at 66 that if into your defensive line that would have been better, the issue with this Todd and not your comment itself, it's just there's not enough room for nuance.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: I guess is that there might have been interior defensive line ranked higher on the consensus big board.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_03]: but your zero and one techniques are vastly different than your, well, maybe not vastly different to the one to three guys, but zero one, one to three, and then you have your three to five, four eye, whatever, and that's kind of where our own yettum fits.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_03]: So the very different buckets of players and skill sets and Eric mentioned it a lot.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_03]: Other people had to, this was a very thin five technique through four defense event.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_03]: If you want to kind of think about it in that way,
- 8:39[SPEAKER_03]: front, but very thin on those John Frick and Meyer type of players.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: That's how it will go.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: I know Nianom was one of them.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_03]: And while he was lower on the consensus board, after the draft from a number of people, sounds like the leaked view to him about where Denver took him.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_03]: So obviously, our team is going to be different, but only on him, I think.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_03]: Time will tell.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_03]: Right, if he's a good picker now, the leak, Denver could have been wrong.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_03]: He was a penetrating three, four defense event type.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_03]: So different.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: So I know Dominique Orange was still available, Eric.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: I think Darrell Jackson is still available, different type of player.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, he said he had those nose tackles, which is what made up his class.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: At the combine, there was as many pure nose tackled types, those zero to three types, as there was those even three to five, like four, I five, whatever way you want to repurpose.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: just as many that were invited to the combine.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's so uncommon.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then theory of defense of buying class was just looked it up so much by those nose tackle types.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so when you take those out of it, because Denver doesn't didn't really seem to be really hunting for one, like had one fall into the lap or they absolutely loved them, then maybe, but just didn't seem to happen.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: or couldn't pass up on them.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: I should say, and it just didn't happen, then it came down to they really wanted to hike a high floor defender who can come in and contribute as a run defender is particularly early on from that spot.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so when you look at other defensive
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: The other guys that were ranked in that range were Grayson Halton, who is a questionable run defender, more of a past Wester.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: And he's a weird body type.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's an improctor, who is also basically saving on Jones clone of similar issues against the run.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people are saying that they're going to have him drop weight and play edge, or they were going to have him do that prior to the drafts.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where now with the team that drafts have
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, there might have been someone who would have been better, but better is, you know, is what subjective, right?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's the one that's a personal opinion.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's based on based on your viewpoint.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: For one team, obviously, Halton may have been better for another team that had been brought there.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: But Broncos, it was only Adam.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: They valued that high floor player because of his run defense that he brings in.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: And again, analytically, he was one of the best run defenders.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: There was in college football
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: And would you turn on the tape?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: You can see why he was such a coveted run defender.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: Mike concern with him watching him, Eric, is that I'm a traits first guy, and he does have traits.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you can see the build, the explosiveness, and he's not necessarily older, but he has experienced five years in his past-rush arsenal.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's severely lacking.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: So the
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: say it again, everyone drink draft and develop.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: For me, talking day three, day two, mid-late day two, draft and develop.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_03]: You find those piece balls of clay, and you're hoping that you have the right infrastructure, both the players already on the roster, the roles you have set, the scheme you have, and then the coaches, of course as well, when you pair that with somebody as the talent, and the right character build, then hopefully you get something, but I'm an
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: The guys that would have probably interested me.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's really the tight ends.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the tight ends flew off the board, but it is roush and dillpe who, I mean, I think those are two guys that we took in our frowned table mock right there, going pretty quickly after Denver went off the board.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Those ones stand out.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe if you wanted the nose tackle type, Chris McClellan was available there.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then of course, our guy, Halsie, as well, who we really liked.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_03]: But defensive online, baby, the end of the day.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's not the most important position.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: It might be the most important positional group.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_03]: Especially because quarterback won, right?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: But you don't rotate guys, but defensive line offensive line.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: You have to be at least above average at both.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_03]: And the only way to do that is to keep spending premium picks and money.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: Lamber, Lambarb, Eric.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't recognize this name, but he comes in with the coffee emojis.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: If I don't, normally I'm
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I see the names in here recognize them, but welcome.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: Good morning.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: If this is somebody else from a guest or a year, let us know as well.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_03]: We got Tyler Gears in St.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_03]: Morning.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_03]: Cook the thumbs up, shall I see you over on Facebook?
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: Click the thumbs up over there.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you guys.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_03]: Bronco for life.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_03]: Sub guys, sub to you.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_03]: Hope you're doing well.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you saying hello.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: He says, what, what?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_03]: One last move, do you think the Broncos should make?
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: Eric, who, I'll kick this to you here.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_03]: Should make, one more move.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_03]: uh... a fourth running back that can help in the return game not a whibersy for a defensive back sorry i just the you said running back to the bread and another version curious why the the pathway there
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: So the reason for that is they typically like to keep those for running backs on there and right now I mean you you're stuck with Tyler Bade or Jill McLaughlin who do factor into the return game, but it's like I just move like somebody who can offer up a little bit more like Tyler Bade he's kind of like that safety outlet on the return game, you know, you know what you're going to get out of for little McLaughlin same thing.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: just would like to get something a little bit more out of them that maybe can offer up a little bit more as well and offense than either of those guys bring right now.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: And when you look at what what their skill sets are and how it makes with the rest of the group, it kind of points to your little McLaughlin being that fourth running back now, because you have joined a common as that they're down blocking receiving back and you have Jacob Dobbins in there in RGRB with all he's able to do on third down with the receiving game.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like just would like to get somebody a little
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: and just to offer up there and have around just in case maybe they find a way to keep that forth running back active but it's unlikely so it's not you know that big a video and then wider receiver and defensive back I mean unless you're trading somebody away you're going to have this you're going to have a similar problem as you aren't running back how you're going to make that guy active for it and I think the only way is if they're a pure returner type.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only way that you're going to get them active on it.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe it's that way.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe I should have said, another returner, that should have been probably what I said.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, looking at the roster.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think right now the move is nothing as much as it is anything.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_03]: The one thing I can think of is maybe you, it's a negative word, but I need to use it to capture what I'm trying to say.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_03]: global a few guys here on the roster that you're not sure you're going to retain for what they're actually worth on the open market, but hey, you know, we'd love you back it this price.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: And if they say yes, cool.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we didn't really budget for that, but you're too good of a player at that price to let walk.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_03]: So the ones I'm thinking about here are Marvin Mims, obviously brought in a bottle, but he's a good returner, and if you can get him,
- 16:14[SPEAKER_03]: 10 million a year.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, is that too much?
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: Is that too little I had to look at where the market is at, but the two names that stand out to me as guys who are maybe phased out, but are talented and good.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_03]: And if you can have them back on a lowball offer to get them the guaranteed money now, maybe you consider it.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking MIMS, I'm thinking Moss, as well as with that drive class.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's the one last move Denver could make.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_03]: Granted, I don't think.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_03]: their sides would accept a little ball offer, but you know, you never know.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a jacquandic mill and also in there, I know we drafted Baron, but like if you can get any of those guys under a market that you expect them to get on the open market, maybe you re-shuffle things, right?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's about like how do you get the best ROI possible?
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm at least talking to those guys in their agents.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, in terms of resigning players, I mean, you have those two in the J-Corn Macmillan as well would be the third one I would throw in there, all projected, you know, all expected to hit for agency and we've talked about, you know, the issues that corner for a while now, it's highly unlikely they're able to keep both of those guys, so try to talk with both them and see which ones were going to extend for a little bit, not necessarily for less, but a little bit less in the market value because obviously,
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: Rather than mass, he's projected to get over 20 million Jekyll and I'm supposed to get some around 12, 15 million, but that's relative to the position they play within the room.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, just talk to both of them, so you can get for him talk to memes as well.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's an all pro returner, so he's probably looking at 12 to probably 12 to 15-ish million range as well.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to say she's he does that 17.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: Jaden Reed is at 16.75.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_03]: Cleals Shakira at 13 points to 64.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: All of those guys offer a lot more offense though.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: So it's, I agree.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: There's not, there's not like really a tier where I'm talking about.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's interesting to follow this, though.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_03]: I just begin those are some of the names.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_03]: I would imagine he's looking 15.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_03]: If he'd take 10, I probably sign him up.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I do it if you take 12 or 13 even like if he's one 15 and you can get it for a little bit less and also of course when we talk about this, it's always worth mentioning the structure matters to Maybe it's a deal where you're getting him for Let's see 45 million for three years, but you know, it's 25 million of it's guaranteed all in the first two years or something like that's a little bit low, but it's
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's maybe it's a big deal, but it's cheaper in the short end, and then you can sit there and reevaluate there, but again, with corner in particular, it's a lot more difficult because you have Patrick's a chance there's already been a little bit of rumblings that he's already wanting an extension, but he hasn't played a year on his current extension that he's just signed because, you know, he had then the last few years of his rookie deals when he signed it, so with how corner has been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he's been inflated, and he
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: well can you really pay them can you pay can you justify paying moss basically not quite but pretty darn close to the same amount as patches of tan.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's had patches of tides at what 24 million on average for your bases.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: Can you justify paying really moss 4 million that less than that?
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: So like that's part of the conversations that they have to have and you know it's give them a low ball offer see if they accept it and move on from there and should a bear and especially at corner obviously it gives them that flexibility of whichever one wants to sign that cheaper deal well the best way we're going to go with we're going to try to get shot a bear and to develop in the other spot to be that replacement.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah both of those guys I'm expecting Moss to get.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: 18 to 22 right now, but yeah, if Moss, you know, you offer him, see if, hey, how about, you know, as I am a column making 16 million here, kind of a Gordon 13.3 Cordale Float 15 DJ Reed 16, I mean, would you take 15 right now, maybe up the guarantees as well and, you know, it's like, what about Baron.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_03]: have a starting corner back that we like here.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_03]: We'll figure it out.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_03]: If we can get them below market value.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_03]: So again, I don't think that was the direction that we were Bronco for life was asking me to go here, but I think that's the next phase.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_03]: You kind of just at least,
- 20:30[SPEAKER_03]: Cause Denver's on a good job of getting ahead on guys, and it's that bad draft class.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_03]: That's about to hit the market.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_03]: So, which we could be saying the same about your Sanders, but less has not worked out.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_03]: Mark Kennedy, good morning, good to see Peter from Singapore, six, seven, six, three, Mark, good morning, good morning.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_03]: Peter asked how many UDFA's make the roster.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'll set the over under at 0.5.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_03]: Deep roster, of course, Denver's, I think we're turned to most of the guys on contract of any team in the NFL this season.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: We're looking at maybe depth at wide receiver, Dainkey, Eric mentioned Colby Katzis, shout out to M for that one.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe Torin York at linebacker, linebacker seems to be the man.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's the line at one and a half.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's hard though, because though, you know, I always get UDFA's making it.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I probably feel good about one.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_03]: But you got Torin York, and then also, I think Amari Harvey has a chance to at corner back.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see, again, as I mentioned,
- 21:30[SPEAKER_03]: You've got to show me a little something before I'm paying attention.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I thought that one and a half just given the broadcast history with it.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, they've liked to show that they that the underdog can make it.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: And there's been not necessarily from the Broncos, but another team talk about how they like to have an under, under the phrase and make it so that they can use that as a selling point when signing out that be joined by the free agents that they really like.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: So that's something to keep in mind as well.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Denver does that.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Tory Newark is the one that obviously Broncos countries gravitating to.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: the issue with him.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, you have an issue with all the under at the period.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's all going to be clear with all of them making it, they all have an up build battle.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: But Tori Norick is particularly difficult because one, his size doesn't match his play style.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: He played last year at 250 pounds as a downhill sort of the trash linebacker.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: He really shouldn't have that size.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's only five foot 10, barely over five foot 10.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: He did weigh at 226 at the combat, and I think, so that was a good sign for him.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: But the biggest issue for him is, is for that type of player that he is, one you already have Alex singleton, as your starter there, then you have Level Bailey, he's been with a team for two years now, you have Jordan Turner, he's been with a team for a year now, and then you just drafted Red Murdock, and that is worth noting because they felt that it was, it was necessary for them to get Red Murdock, whereas with York, they were content if he had it up signing else, or they didn't feel that they were forced to draft him.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: So they have four guys ahead of him for the roster for a spot where there's probably only one spot open.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then on top of that of the guys that they have as a natural linebackers, you have Jonah Ellis as that downhill player.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: So York is a tough one to project.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: He obviously has a chance.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's the favorite for a lot of teams are for a lot of fans.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: But when I was making my 53 men roster projection,
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: I, I forced it to be honest, and I was guys, you know, we need another kick returner.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'd not really see in it elsewhere, and then math as well.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: I could have gone for that fourth running back, but just with the day and how, how little they make that fourth running back active.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: six receivers has been active pretty commonly for the Broncos when they have had six on the roster.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: So that was the way I went there just to get the one on it, but it wasn't it wasn't easy to try to get York on it because of the competition they have with the position with guys who are far more experienced within the system.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: And not to like cheat on this, but Denver did have the two last picks in the draft.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_03]: So those guys are essentially UDFA's as well.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think Murdoch and York are like, you know, coin flip, right, I mean, they drafted Murdoch not York, so that would tend to favor Murdoch, but again, I'm drafted very, very, very late.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: And then that's what I mean.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Go to Australia.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Even though it's a lot of spik, they felt it was necessary that they wanted Murdoch that mad to, I believe to guarantee they got him whether they were a content of York turned them down.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: But again, those guys bently in Murdoch also, maybe kind of like if you want to view them,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: The roster hitting probability is probably the same as a lot of the VFAs.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe even Miles, Miles Scott too, although they took them earlier and he's an athlete.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_03]: So special teams, baby, got to love that special teams.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: More folks coming in here, Robert Lopez, Greed to see Love You Guys and Love The Show, got to dip though God bless you and yours.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_03]: God bless you, Robert.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, man.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's my voice goes, 10 octaves high.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_03]: But we appreciate you coming in here and sharing the love and saying a low.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_03]: Click the thumbs up, like, subscribe, and share, smash that subscribe, whatever they say.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_03]: Jenny Splash, good to see you.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_03]: Hope you're doing well.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: Peter also asked with the Broncos do a player exchange rather than get picks.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: Very rare to see that happen.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_03]: I do think that given how we saw the teams harbor those 20, 20, 7 picks though.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it's more likely right now than years other years, Eric.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_03]: Eric's frozen.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, there he is.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, that's kind of where I'm leaning right now.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_03]: Just because teams really don't want to give up this 20, 20, 7 picks.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_03]: It seems Royce.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_03]: I already chugged mine right now.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'm still catching up on sleep miles.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, there we go.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: Miles says I think to have a day is gone that special teams return their ability does change some things, but he's got a role right.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see him, but he's definitely worthy of the 90 man.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_03]: right now.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_03]: Mark Reiner, good to see you.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: Nice to see you.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you're doing well.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: Mark, also Miles had a morning folks really excited about the Brookies this year, especially Jonah Coleman.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited for the Brookies considering where they were selected and the picks that the Broncos had.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it was a smash bash home run of a draft class, but I don't think that was necessarily possible for this draft class and the picks that Broncos had.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_03]: And also just the
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos roster is set up as well, you know, it's like, oh my god, these guys all have obvious, you know, big impacts day one that they've got the entire contract.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: You're kind of just like padding and being a little bit greedy, uh, to some extent with where Denver's at right now, things changed fast and the league still got to just keep stacking, but I, uh, overall, I feel you're fine about the draft class.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's, uh, I don't think there was anything that was completely.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_03]: out of sync.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a little bit bummed about how the board picks came off the board round two for Denver because there was a guy's that I liked that one Bing Bang Boom right before Denver was picking that I think would have been good players for Denver with obvious more obvious roles for them.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm also a little bit bummed about G-Bowry Eric just because I liked him a good
- 27:23[SPEAKER_03]: But overall, I think it's a for what Denver had a fine draft class.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: And Jalen Waterle is the the tree on top is in enough.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's the entire desert.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_03]: So, okay, that's that's what I'm really excited about.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it was a draft class that you got to look at through that three-year window that George Peyton Sean Peyton talked about, you know, back in February.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you have Tyler on the Adam, who he has a chance to start this year just because of his run-defense ability being that early down run-defender
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: As I said live, I know a lot of people are pegging, you know, Malcolm Roach, who was a wreakie to be, but doesn't really sound like they want them out that bar.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: when they did do that with Wazurek and last year, that was actually where he was at, you know, far in a way, the least effective, not just for himself, but for the defense of Lyman on the Broncos, who's the least effective when in that alignment.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I wouldn't expect them to continue on that, maybe, you know, certain situations where they wanna just get a little bit bigger, maybe he does slide out there for that extra mass, but they kinda wanna keep them in that, you know, three eye technique.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm spot a little bit more inside shading inside between that center guard a little bit and letting him work from there as well as more so preferring him on the, you know, the right tackle side of the alignment more so than left side where he was significantly more efficient and impactful than he was on the left side.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, on the other hand, he has a chance to contribute this year, but the rest of them, it's all, I mean, Jonah Coleman as well, just as part of the rotation, but all of them are more so, you know, next year and beyond, cage case, has going to have a chance to compete for the starting left card spot next year.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: Probably unlikely he gets it this year, barring, you know, extreme development and growth from him, this year, to where they're comfortable parting ways with Ben Powers.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: Jonah Coleman, probably in line for a bigger role next year than he is this year.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I don't need him.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: If he's not starting this year, then it would surprise me at all if he's starting next year.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: Then Justin Jolie, your guy you're hoping to replace seven Ingram.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so like they're all for next year or beyond, a great athlete in my Oscar that you hope to develop for two, three years down the road.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: Murdoch, you're hoping you can develop and coverage a little bit to where he's not inefficient to be a potential
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: and down Bentley who you're hoping to develop and to being able to be a contributor on your offense in the next year or two.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it's all about that three year window in this class and you know what that in mind like obviously I understand that it stinks for some because they didn't get those clear immediate impact players but it is but it's all about guys of trying to build a
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's the lifeblood of any roster and team, of course.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_03]: We got Max, chat, dumped on me, Max is in the house.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see you.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you coming in and saying hello.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_03]: All you guys, Roy, had the vanilla macadamia coffee from, I'm a, man, mistake, Eric.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_03]: I should have chugged some before I came up and then had another cup.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm worried my wife is gonna drink all of it.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_03]: She said yesterday, like, how have you been only making half pots?
- 30:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's going on.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_03]: I've been making full pots and drinking two thirds of them before she's even awake because I've needed it.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_03]: But to the theme of the show, Eric, now that we got 15, 20 minutes left, the pathway and the depth chart for this team when it comes to the rookies, I think we should start just as they were drafted.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_03]: Tyler on the edam, right now.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: So obviously the Broncos front is 60 right now,
- 30:54[SPEAKER_03]: They're a little bit heavier in their zero to three technique body types than they are.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'm no pun intended, but then they are in the for I obviously Zach Allen is a stalwart.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_03]: He is amazing.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_03]: I am somewhat worried that.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_03]: because the guys that are relatively in the same position as him are very unproven and saving on Jones and Tyrone at him that they lean back into 2024.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: Zach Allen, where you're gonna play 96% of the SNAPs or whatever that the hell it was, which is not good.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: It should not be the plan, but you have those guys.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_03]: And then of course, was Rigue, Roch, and Jones, all kind of playing different roles
- 31:42[SPEAKER_03]: For I may be in certain packages, but not necessarily.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna see those guys more, you know, one, two, I, whatever the heck.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now you wanna see them lined up maybe some three as well.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_03]: It was a week, I offer some more size and length than Jones and Roach, but go on in the entire defense of blind.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think on the end of it has a really the only, as I'm looking at the depth chart, the only competition he has on the roster is Savion Jones.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: You have Jordan Jackson there.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_03]: It brought back Matt Henningson that's more of like a 90 man roster thing, but it's really just saving on Jones and it could be something where they're both getting about even snaps, you know, on the more obvious early down ones, on the atoms out there and then the ones that it's like third and eight, second and twelve, you see saving on Jones, which would cause he's a little bit more athletically gifted as a pass fresher, a little bit more juice there.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_03]: on yet him as a chance to start, but as I always say on here, you have room to play five to six defensive linemen.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_03]: So like whether or not he's listed as a starter, I'm imagining 35% of the defensive snaps available to him are going to be there.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's to look at it differently is like you're basically trying to replace 500 snaps and what you lost on John Frank and Myers and obviously say beyond Jones is going to eat into that a little bit.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're probably looking at him, you know, going from 33 to probably around 300 with Tyler on the item getting in there as well and helping eat into that and then.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you also have, you know, some snaps that are increased from earlier on in the season with Jordan Jackson when he was seeing the field.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: So the snaps are there.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have to be surprised at all of only Adam and Savion Jones had obtained a very similar snap count at the end of the season.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: and then going from there.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just got to be a situation where the Broncos find a way to have 60 events of alignment active.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: They only did that I believe once last season and that was like the final game of the season.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: So it's
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: It really depends.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then with the Waza Riki, he's playing in there.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: They do kind of seem to like him a little bit more as that rotational piece with Zach Allen on that side of the line.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: Again, that's where he was a lot more effective and efficient as a player last year.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: So Zach Allen could still see that.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if, you know,
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: On the Adam and Jones don't you know take that set forward, maybe it's a situation where they're kind of forced to put who was a Rika there and then you know have Alan next to him, I would say if who was Rika is the guy getting those early downstairs and it's probably not a good sign for either Jones or on the Adam, I mean not so not as much Jones, but on the Adam and it'll be kind of like, all right, we'll hopefully year two he takes that step forward.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's an interesting unit and they also have something to factor in for the next two three years.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, who was Rick Gates a forage and after the season, DJ Jones, you can get out of his deal after the season to save some money, which does something like it is actually a concern within the Broncos, some of touched on before with the ownership paying for a new
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: part of the ownership buying 40% of the Rockies.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: Their finances are in a little bit of a tight spot right now to where they can't, you know, do those bonus heavy contracts to kind of work around the cellular gap a little bit.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: And so they've kind of been a tough spot.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: with that to where you know, maybe you do need a part ways with a guy or two who you can to save some money against seller cap and put some money back in your pockets and you can recirculate with a different signing or two who may be a little bit cheaper because if they want to bring a was a rebate, it was a rebate who was a recap back he's not going to cost that 13 million on average for your bases that you're currently paying to Jones.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for that again, more overarching defensive line, but maybe it's a
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: DJ Jones, love you.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: God bless you.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to ship that savings over to Ozureka and keep brooch, who's a little bit similar to the body type of DJ Jones and keep younger and a little bit more just an assortment of body types and the defensive line.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_03]: But right now, I mean, you mentioned it on the Adam Jones.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's competition.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's one we're gonna be keeping a close eye on right now.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_03]: Who's gonna get the most snaps between those guys and the two the question earlier, what's one more move Denver could make?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you're seeing something there, as far as the defensive line goes, if both of those guys disappoint, obviously there are still some interior vet defensive linemen that could play a role that would be in a big indictment on Jones and the item to some extent.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_03]: I would believe,
- 36:30[SPEAKER_03]: Again, if there's any spot to be greedy, it's past refreshers and defensive line, you just, you need waves, man.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_03]: We got super chat coming in here from Troy or guys that started to cover this, but can we now sign free agents without messing up complex.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_03]: That's been the case for a little bit.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's on Monday.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have to.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yep, but.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there's not really many out there that would make sense to Denver, I think.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_03]: You could talk in Joku if you haven't injury, maybe as well, but I don't even know if any of these interior events lie and get the contracts, that would mess with that either at this point.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_03]: So Denver's obviously, we have a George Peyton talk about it there, planning for that JFM content pick in 2027.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_03]: I do wish they were able to finagle a 20, 20, 20, and extra 20, 27 pick in a trade, just
- 37:23[SPEAKER_03]: You know how I am.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_03]: I love to kind of stack those.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going anywhere.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_03]: So invite as well.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_03]: Just keep kicking the can and get a little bit more value.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_03]: But it's an investment right, but Troy.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think we will predictions, which is kind of talked about that a little bit right now.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think the moves.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_03]: You're watching into your defensive line.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_03]: And if there's an injury that happens, maybe as well, tight end, I mean, they freakin' love Adam Traumann.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what in criminating evidence they have on the coaching staff.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_03]: He has on the coaching staff or anything, but seems like him in Ingram are there this season and we'll go probably another off-season where we're talking a year from, well, not a year from now, but 11 months from now, 10 months from now.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_03]: What's time we're gonna do a linebacker, or a linebacker in tight end,
- 38:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to get too upset about it because, obviously, the formula that they have is working.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_03]: As well, I would sacrifice line-backer and tight ends being a bunch of, you know, zero war players.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_03]: If it means you have a top three combined offensive line and defensive line of football.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_03]: And that's equating to a winning football right now.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_03]: So again, I get it
- 38:35[SPEAKER_03]: ornamental last ages where what really matters is kicking ass on the trenches.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, in terms of parades and signings, I think right now it's, you know, evaluation mode.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: They start their offseason stuff.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: A on Monday.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so it's just kind of, all right, seeing who steps in.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, last year they went into it and they're like, all right, we want to see what the runnybaskan do.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: If not, then we're going to sign somebody, all the runnybasks kind of struggled start starting off.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so they went out and got JK
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we can see that might that at tight end, running back still a possibility for that fourth spot somebody to just bring in extra insurance and even on a deal that doesn't guarantee them they Did it to make the roster, but just somebody to come in and bring just extra competition that could possibly raise the four at the very least linebackers another spot where they could do that with you.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: When you're only looking at it and you have your clear cut starters was they're not in single did and then and Ellis contributing there as well as a who knows how they're going to actually use them this year.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard mixed comments.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: I've had mixed comments about that.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: But then behind them you have a bunch of undrafted for agents or a the very lost pick in the draft competing for a spot or two safety is another one if Devon key or Tyson Anderson don't aren't showing it as you know that third safety maybe they go and bring somebody else in so there's a couple spots for but it's all going to depend on what happens over the next you know few weeks with OTAs and mini camps and all that.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we will see.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see people on chat talking about Germany as well.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_03]: Myles, good point.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_03]: Replacing defensive line feels like replacing bullpen arms.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think you can go cheap there though.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_03]: If possible, sometimes you can kind of find you what do they call oldoo ghee or something for a little bit cheap, but I haven't been in an as in on baseball the last six, seven years.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it's changed a little bit talking beer in the
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: Half of the vites in, yeah, good times.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: I still like my hazy IPAs and when it's cold out, my bourbon barrel stouts for sure.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_03]: It pours like motor oil, it's the good stuff.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_03]: Keep them moving, Eric.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_03]: Next pick for the Broncos is Jonah Coleman.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is obviously the most interesting one for the Broncos.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I put in the comment section of this show.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: This Jonah Coleman have a chance to be the number one SNAPGator running back.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_03]: for the Broncos this season.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously they're going to ride JK Dobbins.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be curious to see if he's a little bit on a pitch count or if they just kind of go into it, I mean, Sean Payne's comments have been like, we've started the injury history, whatever he's, we don't think it's going to be a lingering issue, but like he's injured every freaking year.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm curious to see their approach with the running back room.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: And Coleman does have a chance at being the largest snapgitter, mainly because Dobbins injury history, of course, whether they want to like protect Dobbins for later games.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you can do that in the NFL, because nothing's guaranteed.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_03]: This isn't like college football.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_03]: We're like, you're going to have Ohio State plan records.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you don't want to play your injury prone, prone, talented running back, but 10 stamps and let's just get to the next week.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 41:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'm curious about Coleman, and then you also mentioned Harvey being a fraterner, which makes me think that Coleman could eat more of the the dirty work snaps, you know, with his protection ability, early down between the tackles, things that Harvey hasn't necessarily shown yet at the NFL level.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, kind of sounds like obviously it's instead of a one A one B it you have your one in the neighborhood to A to B and Coleman's going to play a fact and that obviously yeah he has a chance so does cage case he does I mean any work has a chance injuries just muddy a lot especially when you have a guy who's missed the game and all but once he's in due to injury and in the one season didn't he still miss it because of an illness so.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's obviously it's possible and I add out of the rookies, I think he's the most likely one to do it because of the JK Dobbins injury history and it's like, and you know, we've talked about for what's refreshing with the injury history.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just like one thing over and over again, that says constant thing.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so many different ones that just over time, kick a toll and lens front injuries are very concerning for running back.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the more
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: which he suffered and ACL injuries, which he suffered.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: So eventually it's going to wear down his body with these injuries.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: And it sounded like I can't remember who it was.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody was talking about it and how kind of made it seem like
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: The sweet spot for Dobbins is that 15 to 20 snap count and, you know, not being that bell Cal get in 20 plus, but just writing that range right around 17 or 18 a game.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so that opens up the door for a comment to be that power.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_03]: Are you saying touches or snaps touches or snaps?
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: Touches.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because that's different.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 15 between 15 to 20 touches.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: I may have said snaps, but I met touches.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: But that, and then, you know, it might be a situation where those touches come on, you know, 70%, 80% of his abs.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: So where, you know, you're kind of going to force feed him the ball when he's out there on the field because you want to be, uh, make the most of him being out there.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: obviously using them as a blocker in some of the instances or a decoy and off play action or whatever.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: So during a common he has a good chance.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: They do want to see more out of RJ Harvey as a runner.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: They are hoping that he takes his next step as a blocker to really become a true 3 down, you know, a third, true, third down back because he's got the receiving ability, but can he be a blocker towards not as predictable when he's out there on the hill that's going to happen with him.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: So it's gonna, it's gonna be interesting to see what happened, but Coleman, I expect at least a pretty sizable role for Coleman this year.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, last year, Dobbins, 10 games, 183 snaps, 153 attempts.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: So about 15 touches, a game he played.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_03]: I'm hoping with Coleman and just being better with three running backs.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're only seeing Dobbins, 10 to 15 touches, and I know he's through best backs.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: Man, so I mean, I've talking about both sides of my mouth because I said, you know, it isn't the Ohio State versus we'll go with who could also kind of punch down on in the big ten right now.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_03]: Purdue, if that's an easy target.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_03]: To where you can play your backups and probably beat them, but that's a Austria got 15.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's still got hurt.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it matters really, but I'm thinking 10 to 15 just because you have Coleman now who can
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: Eat up snaps for sure, especially in the early down and stuff, early down stuff.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_03]: And then Harvey might deserve an expanded role as well.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_03]: So not a lot of time left.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously to get rent and rest of these guys, Casey, I think it's pretty cut and dry.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's your left card backup, Paul Chetsky.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'll use the word again here.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: He can preemptively roll your eyes.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_03]: Admirable, admirable, better at right tackle, probably better right guard backup as well.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_03]: But I expect Casey to be your,
- 45:45[SPEAKER_03]: First guy off the bench, second string left guard.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe some left tackle too, especially we'll see how he handles in camp.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_03]: I would imagine, but they announced him as a guard.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't really move like a tackle.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: He's not really built like a tackle.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_03]: Granted, I'd love him to get a little bit thicker in the lower half as well to be a guard.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_03]: But he probably left guard.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_03]: And you're hoping you don't see him, but I would imagine he's probably
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: First off the bench, the real question with him is Garjulo, battling Garjulo for that second string, depending on Garjulo's health.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: Garjulo is, I mean, they are from what you shared here, I can from what I heard, they were really excited about him in the camp and before he broke his leg or whatever, so we'll see you.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, ideally, he's, you know, he's that left side back up.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's your, he's your Matt Pit replacement, who can play tackle in a pinch, but it sounds like that they have front crumb to be their swing tackle, playing right and left, and then you have Pau Chesky being your right side back up with a play tackle guard, and then Casey on that.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: left side and being that tackle guard there as well.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Being that first one in at left guard if some happens and been powers.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: The question that I have with the offensive line is do they put guard Julia at center some to get him some center reps and potentially you know make a change there between him and Alex for size.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the only on the office of mine.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the question there.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: And not so much with KC and Gargulio, part of that being the investment in them.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that is something that, yes, they do factor in.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: You have a fourth round pick for a sixth round pick in Gargulio or a seventh round pick.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: and a guy coming off a serious injury, he's been in the office for a while, but again, serious injuries coming off of.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not seeing him factor into it a whole lot, unless he goes in there and absolutely shocks everyone, and maybe it's a situation where if he does that, well, then you might take a little step back, but save the money and move on from Ben Powers.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be interesting to follow.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's that'd be crazy for this season, especially, but you never know.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think the plan is probably
- 47:50[SPEAKER_03]: You have three years of cost control, rookie on a very expensive unit.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_03]: Offensive tackle long term is still a concern, obviously.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's, we'll probably have an episode at some point here, like the odds of Denver's first round pick in 2027.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_03]: Offensive tackle's probably the highest for me right now, but you know, you never know how the crop is gonna play out and where Denver's gonna be picking.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_03]: Todd got a new car, awesome for Utah.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_03]: We also got our Patrick Patrick.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_03]: We've been saying good things about you.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_03]: Um, James said this is the leg ankles loaded form.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: Not sure he's talking about here.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's talking about that picture that bone eggs put put out there.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas he has an ankle sitting at a weird angle.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: So it makes it a look to all the form.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think if there was a big concern about that, that would have come up in the grueling grueling process of the NFL draft process as well, but we'll see.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_03]: Um, obviously they're talking about the minor cleanup.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_03]: be able to mention it.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm sure the other shows have already were still, you know, draft cleanup.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_03]: That's where our heart is.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_03]: And while I work in the sciences, I'm not a medical doctor to that extent.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what it is.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to keep an eye on it.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_03]: I guess it's routine.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_03]: What I rather he not needed it and things already know all peachy and he's ready to go.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, we'll see how it plays out.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_03]: I uh,
- 49:17[SPEAKER_03]: Trust the doctors and I'm trustworthy to do the right thing to get himself in position to succeed.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_03]: See, there's a lot of frickin' money on the line to get it right as well, and he doesn't seem like an idiot.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_03]: There's some idiots out there, both seems like an adult in the room.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: Keep moving forward, Broncos next pick, they trade up for Justin Jolie to me.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's pretty safe on the roster.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think we'll keep for active.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that you are hoping that he can develop this year as a blocker a little bit more.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think the physicality is it there.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_03]: And then you're gonna see what he looks like versus Ingram.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_03]: This probably does keep loner off the roster.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see what happens with Lucas Crawl, also who's a little bit big body, but doesn't necessarily block.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, so shout out the Albert Oak Wave now for that and then also you have Dan, uh, we'll just keep it on the tight end, uh, daily and Bentley as well.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think Justin Jolie makes the roster and Croll is out probably, but you're then talking to practice quad battle with, uh, Bentley loner and Croll.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's my assumption right now.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Denver is a team that likes to typically keep, you know, two tight ends on the private sweat.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think, I sure they had three for the majority of the season.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, so it's entirely possible.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: But to be fair, one of those guys also was the international player exemption.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: So not the case issue that's currently Jeremy Krasha.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see what happens with that.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: But with tight end, it is.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: I agree with you Justin Jolie makes this roster.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's pretty safe with the trade up form as well as with the investment and that and he just kind of being, you know, slip through the cracks a little bit in the draft from what's kind of been going around.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he's safe to make it as that guy to replace in Grim down the road and even come in at times during the season probably won't see a whole lot if he breaks out say.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: barring injury if he breaks a hundred and seventy five snaps of season.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be surprised.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then the question here is, I mean, I think that pushes Lucas call off the roster as well.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: The question is, what happens with the Adkins and I think down Bentley is the one that maybe he can push him off.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of where you're looking at there because down Bentley is kind of more of that move tight end.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: You can drop like a full back doesn't have that typical size for it.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's a little bit bigger, more of a true
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: But one of the, he's got a lot of questions as a blocker as that in line guy, but when he lined up in the backfield or in the slot he did all right there.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you're looking at that, but right now I probably say it's Trottman and applicants as you're blocking tight ends, which are Lee and anger and working as your receivers outside.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm what's yeah.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to talk about Bentley.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: So just two more picks your mile Scott.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's interesting.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's just because the suspension teams and if they hadn't brought in Tyson and her center already have JL Skinner, I think it'd be a question.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: They love Devon Key, obviously for the special teams as well.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think the milestone question is probably a jail scanner question for me on this team knob.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_03]: Just gonna do the more of the dimebackers stuff, but you have four years control versus two for jail scanner, six round pick versus seventh round pick and scanners had some injuries as well.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_03]: So, I mean, Tyson with his contract on all the structures, but I'd imagine if Scott is so good and scanner takes a step forward.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, a little bit of dead money moving on from Tyson Anderson.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_03]: But right now, I think it's probably a jail skinner question more than anything when it comes to Moscow.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: it all comes out of special teams.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't draft from out Scott where he did because of what he can do on defense right now.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's still in ascending play.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's only had two or three years playing safe.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's still still a lot of growth and development there.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: So it's gonna come down at special teams.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: Can he sit there in outplay, skinner, or Tyson Anderson?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt it.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't, he's a seven, he's a seven on baking.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's allowed that cost control, but he seems voiced for as long as he shows enough to earn it.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: He seems voiced for the practice squad while keeping couple of those, you know, those core special teams players in what Tyson Anderson was with the Bengals, and then J.L.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: Skinner here in Denver on the roster, especially with how problematic this special teams coverage coverage units were to start the last season.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: and they kind of found their groove with a specific role for Devin Key, which seems to be going to Tyson Anderson and then how they use Jale Skinner.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, interesting to follow.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_03]: Last one to talk about, I guess we'll talk about the work as well, but Murdoch and York linebacker.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_03]: This, there's something you guys, this is as open as any spot you do have on our lads, which is why I'm going off of the DevTard, but you have Turner and Reed, higher undrapped both undrapped it for you, it's from last year and you also have Level Bailey, but I mean, gosh, this, you got a pathway for all these guys here.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_03]: After you're, you're, you're, you're not in Singleton, Lord.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: The heck knows.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_03]: So this is going to be the area where we're going to watch a lot.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just special teams for these guys obviously, it does matter in the end, but there's a spot for somebody who's not known necessarily Special teams stand out that makes the roster.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_03]: So this one is as
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: you know, break a pool queue over your knee and say, go get him as any spot on the roster when it comes to the depth.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_03]: We feel good.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_03]: Well, relatively good.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_03]: We know who our starters are.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_03]: We feel good about knowing who the starters are.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_03]: Not necessarily that they are starters, but we feel good about knowing the stronon single tune after that, man.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: Put the five names in a hat and close your eyes and draw them out.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: From, yeah, I think it's a little bit more than that.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think it, my back doesn't come down to do they keep a fifth one because Jonah Ellis, he's that third guy there, and then Karina Reed, for getting out.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: Karina Reed, we're getting him.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_01]: Karina Reed, special teams, and he's the only other cover line back of there is.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's on the roster right now.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, Level Bailey, Kenny Cover.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: Can he develop there?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's been the question.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's why he ended up not making the roster last year.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan Turner.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: He provides special teams and he's probably the only true stack backer that they have.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: I got you can take on blocks and be that stacker and I don't really have that.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: So it comes down to that fifth spot do they keep it because the top four I think are pretty are pretty much set barring you know a surprise out of it with you know a certain odds England and Ellis of course which does sound like he's actually making that full time switch this year and not just rotational.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: But again, I've heard conflicting stuff on that and then Creen A read who is absolutely loved by just about everybody in this coaching staff for what he does on special teams and the progress that he was showing on the defensive side of the ball, especially in coverage.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Brad Murdock, he forces fumbles, he can help with that, but you've got to play special teams.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: If you're that fifth line, you've got to play special teams, which one of these guys does the best there?
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's the opening for Tori and North, but is Kenny outshined these guys on special teams, which, hey, with how small he is, that's probably going to be where he has to make it in the NFL in general.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: So it's questionable.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's definitely between them, but you know, can't rule out Jordan Turner who ended up being a
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: stable on the stable on the special teams you know late last season when they actually started doing well and then local Bailey has been a pretty solid special team for two years now.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it's five line backers or four that's where the conversation really comes in.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_03]: Kind of be fun.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: I see a few comments in here.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_03]: We got to get out, but asking about Colby Kansas.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Eric, shattered him out earlier.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's got a chance because the returner ability and then Caleb Loner, we kind of did touch on it with the tie-dens.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's, you might keep three, but if you keep four active, just that also in the numbers in the practice squad, we'll see.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_03]: Right now, cruel, loner, and Bentley, I imagine are battling for two practice squads, robots, with the assumption that Julie makes the roster.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_03]: But you might have Atkins get cut, you know, like he's one, like we like Atkins' blocking ability, but just with these other young, maybe Bentley, you know, takes a step as a blocker with a body type in the tools.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: Lord, maybe Carl finally does, probably not.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_03]: But he's a OTA superstar.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: So things can happen.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_03]: But Eric, that's going to do it for us.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_03]: I think we got out of all of these.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_03]: Big names, obviously, and it didn't us on every undrafted free agents, like the white receivers we've talked on catsus.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_03]: But white receivers kind of deep.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_03]: So a little bit harder, I'm imagining, we're talking practice squad, not depth chart per se.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_03]: But any final thoughts?
- 58:11[SPEAKER_03]: Before we get on out of here,
- 58:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think the most interesting is going to be where on yet I'm thoughts in and just how the snaps are distributed on the interior defense point for me personally.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I'm really intrigued by, you know, how three of the top four, I'm really curious to see what they have for Julie because there's some sound and light that some talk that they really want them to have a pretty significant role this year.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll have to wait and see and then join a comment how he's going to slot into the running back room.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: But if you guys want a little bit more on the undrafted for agents, I do have an article that kind of talks about it and gives their what I perceive their chances to be to make it.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: To make this roster and it kind of covers a lot of what we talked about here, but it also gives some insight as to why I think that it wasn't really necessary to get into the other receivers because of just the type of receivers they are and more numbers that we don't bring special teams value this year as a spirit as a under at the for agent.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_01]: And it's probably going to be a rough one for you, unless you're a peer special team we're like the longs after they brought in, which it's open competition, but obviously goes to for Brooney as the income that to, you know, with odds to make it.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you check that out at malaihotel.com.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_03]: Hell yeah.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'll appreciate Ron.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see you again next Monday for our last Monday show for a bit.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_03]: But shout out to everybody coming in and hanging out today.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_03]: Shout out to Troy for the Super Chat.

- 59:43[SPEAKER_03]: I was going on Dylan, hope we're doing okay.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_03]: But appreciate everybody and it's been, again, Eric, I gave you your flowers on day three, but it's been a lot of fun doing this with you.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I really appreciate all your hard work and I look forward to,
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_03]: getting a chance to hang out and talk with you every Monday and Friday morning and talking Broncos ball.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I appreciate you getting up and all the work and putting up with my shenanigans every once in a while.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_03]: And that's just, again, Eric's done does a lot of work with this, so appreciate you.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_03]: And it was a fun draft cycle, despite the lack of a lot of picks and not the most exciting draft class.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_03]: Now we get to see how it fits together and now we get to actually talk some more real Broncos ball and while it may be doesn't drive engagement as much.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_03]: having the quarterback position stable, helps with a piece of mind a lot for this team.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_03]: So it's good to talk about things without the caveat of, well, none of this frickin' matters if the quarterback sucks.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_03]: So we're out of that shadow.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_03]: Thank God.
