• 3:03
  Speaker 4: Story number one.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: You can file this story under this is exactly what
• 3:08
Speaker 1: I've voted for when I voted for President Donald Trump.
• 3:12
Speaker 1: The United States has seized a large oil tanker off
• 3:16
Speaker 1: the coast of Venezuela in a major escalation of tensions
• 3:20
Speaker 1: between Washington and Caracas. Is how the mainstream media put it.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: In reality, this is a huge victory for law and order.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump publicly announced the seizure at the White House,
• 3:34
Speaker 1: describing the vessel as a very large tanker. Here's the
• 3:38
Speaker 1: President in his own words, Well.
• 3:41
Speaker 2: Thank you very much. It's been an interesting day from
• 3:45
Speaker 2: the standpoint of news. As you probably know, we've just
• 3:50
Speaker 2: seized a tanker on the coast of VENEZUELA large tanker,
• 3:56
Speaker 2: very large, largest whatever, seass and other things are happening,
• 4:04
Speaker 2: So you'll be seeing that later and you'll be talking
• 4:07
Speaker 2: about that later with some other neahble.
• 4:10
Speaker 1: The president's grinn on his face at the White House
• 4:14
Speaker 1: for this moment where he decided to talk to the
• 4:16
Speaker 1: media for a second and tease them about exactly what
• 4:19
Speaker 1: had happened. The largest ever seized oil tanker by US
• 4:22
Speaker 1: forces truly is law and order. The operation was executed
• 4:27
Speaker 1: by US authorities including the US Coast Guard, the FBI,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: Homeland Security Investigations, Navy support assets, and these forces coordinated
• 4:37
Speaker 1: the boarding of the tanker, even shown in a public
• 4:41
Speaker 1: video that has been released. Now, let's talk about the
• 4:44
Speaker 1: tanker itself. It is called the Skipper. It was formerly
• 4:48
Speaker 1: known as Idisa and flagged in Panama. The ship was
• 4:52
Speaker 1: sanctioned by the United States for years because US officials
• 4:56
Speaker 1: say it was involved in transporting illicit Venezuelan and potentially
• 5:01
Speaker 1: Iranian oil in violation of US sanctions. He was reportedly
• 5:06
Speaker 1: heading towards Cuba carrying Venezuelan crude oil. US authorities justified
• 5:12
Speaker 1: the Caesar by saying the tanker was transporting oil in
• 5:15
Speaker 1: violation of US sanctions and part of an ellistic oil
• 5:19
Speaker 1: shipping network that it supports sanctioned entities, including direct ties
• 5:25
Speaker 1: to Iran. President Trump also stated publicly that the tanker
• 5:29
Speaker 1: was seized for a very good reason. He didn't publicly
• 5:32
Speaker 1: disclose full legal grounds or the ship's ownership in detail.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: That will be coming in the days ahead. But what
• 5:39
Speaker 1: we do know is Venezuela's reaction is exactly what you
• 5:42
Speaker 1: would expect. The Venezuelan government, led by Nicholas Maduro, strongly
• 5:47
Speaker 1: condemned the actions, called the seizure theft an Act of
• 5:51
Speaker 1: international Piracy. Caracas says the move violates a sovereignty and
• 5:56
Speaker 1: is driven by US interests in Venezuela's natural resources and
• 6:00
Speaker 1: oil wealth. Venezuela has valid to raise the issue at
• 6:04
Speaker 1: the International quote Forums now. The seizure has heightened geopolitical
• 6:10
Speaker 1: tensions between the US and Venezuela to a new level,
• 6:13
Speaker 1: is how Reuters put it this evening. It contributed to
• 6:16
Speaker 1: a rise in global oil prices because of concern about
• 6:19
Speaker 1: disruptions to Venezuelan oil exports which are in bargot, admitting
• 6:25
Speaker 1: now in the world market that yes, these black ships
• 6:29
Speaker 1: and this oil that is not supposed to be sold
• 6:32
Speaker 1: is happening each and every day, which brings me to
• 6:36
Speaker 1: part two of the story. As the Left is trying
• 6:40
Speaker 1: to act like this is some shocking move, even CNN
• 6:44
Speaker 1: security analysts says that America seizing an oil tanker is
• 6:49
Speaker 1: quote absolutely normal. Yes, even on CNN they're saying that
• 6:56
Speaker 1: this is normal and law and order.
• 6:58
Speaker 5: Listen carefully bring in CNN national security analyst Beth Sanner. That's,
• 7:03
Speaker 5: first of all, a lot of people don't understand the
• 7:05
Speaker 5: basic idea of what's going on here. Nicholas Maduro, who
• 7:09
Speaker 5: is in charge of Venezuela, president of Venezuela. He's there
• 7:13
Speaker 5: because of fraud, like he should not be the leader
• 7:16
  Speaker 5: of Venezuela.
• 7:17
Speaker 6: He lost the election.
• 7:18
Speaker 5: He lost the election and he kept power instead President
• 7:21
Speaker 5: Trump is My larger point is that President Trump is
• 7:26
Speaker 5: it's not wild for people in the West to think
• 7:28
Speaker 5: Madora is not there legitimately, and there has been this
• 7:31
Speaker 5: pressure campaign from President Trump for him to step down.
• 7:34
Speaker 5: Seizing an oil tanker, that's a much bigger deal and
• 7:38
Speaker 5: a much bigger than these narco terrorist boats, as the
• 7:43
Speaker 5: President calls them, people shooting them, seizing a tanker. How
• 7:48
Speaker 5: could this escalate the conflict with Venezuela.
• 7:52
Speaker 6: Well, you know, we've had sanctions on Venezuelan oil since
• 7:57
Speaker 6: the first Trump administration and kept them, kept them, So
• 8:02
Speaker 6: to me, this is absolutely normal.
• 8:05
Speaker 5: I mean seizing an oil tanker.
• 8:08
Speaker 6: Yeah, we've been seizing Iranian oil tankers in the past.
• 8:11
Speaker 6: We also, according to the law that I've read, we
• 8:16
Speaker 6: can that oil is up for forfeiture, so we could
• 8:20
Speaker 6: keep that. We've kept Iranian oil in the past. So
• 8:23
Speaker 6: I actually think that this is less controversial in terms
• 8:28
Speaker 6: of law and sanctions and what has been you know,
• 8:33
Speaker 6: disputed or not disputed. Like I think this is actually
• 8:36
Speaker 6: a pretty you know, check the box case. Now, you know,
• 8:40
Speaker 6: what will this mean in terms of escalation?
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: Uh?
• 8:43
Speaker 6: You know, what is he going to do? What is
• 8:44
Speaker 6: Maduro gonna do? Is he gonna step aside because we're
• 8:47
Speaker 6: sanctioning this oil. I mean, you know, we pick up
• 8:50
Speaker 6: this oil tanker, it's one oil tanker.
• 8:52
Speaker 5: Probably not, and it's unlikely that he would.
• 8:56
Speaker 1: You listen to CNN and the analyst there I love
• 8:59
Speaker 1: how Jake Tapper acts like he's shocked when she says,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: America sees as oil tankers and we've done this in
• 9:05
Speaker 1: the past. It's absolutely normal. But they're trying to act
• 9:08
Speaker 1: like this is some shocking move. By the way, the
• 9:11
Speaker 1: President United States of America made it clear this was
• 9:14
Speaker 1: going to be something they were going to do, which
• 9:18
Speaker 1: comes down to the video that has come out showing
• 9:21
Speaker 1: just how powerful the United States military can be and
• 9:25
Speaker 1: law enforcement can be when they decide to act and
• 9:29
Speaker 1: are able to do their job because of a president
• 9:32
Speaker 1: of the United States of America that's willing to allow
• 9:35
Speaker 1: them to do their job. Here's how Fox News described
• 9:39
Speaker 1: the taking of that oil tanker.
• 9:41
Speaker 7: Dramatic new video as the US seizes an oil tanker
• 9:45
Speaker 7: off of the Venezuelan coast. President Trump did not say why,
• 9:48
Speaker 7: but he did say, quote, other things are happening. The
• 9:51
Speaker 7: administration has been striking alleged Narco terrorist vessels near Venezuela
• 9:56
Speaker 7: and is putting heavy pressure on disputed President Nicholas Maduro.
• 10:00
Speaker 7: Senior foreign policy correspondent Jillian Turner starts us off tonight
• 10:04
Speaker 7: from the State Department.
• 10:05
Speaker 3: Even Jillian good evening to you bat President Trump confirms
• 10:08
Speaker 3: the United States military has seized this crude oil tanker
• 10:12
Speaker 3: off the coast of Venezuela. After insisting for months now
• 10:15
Speaker 3: that the US is in fact at war with drug
• 10:18
Speaker 3: cartels that are running these boats in the US southcom region.
• 10:22
Speaker 3: We've obtained this video that the Attorney General Pambondi posted
• 10:26
Speaker 3: on social media just a moment ago. You can see
• 10:29
Speaker 3: here during this seizure. She says, the FBI, the Homeland
• 10:33
Speaker 3: Security Departments, and Coast Guard executed this operation with support
• 10:37
Speaker 3: from the War Department. You can see here US service
• 10:40
Speaker 3: members landing a military helicopter on this vessel before then
• 10:44
Speaker 3: disembarking and entering. The US had issued a warrant we
• 10:48
Speaker 3: are learning for this crude oil tanker, alleging it had
• 10:51
Speaker 3: been used to transport illegal oil from Venezuela and Iran
• 10:55
Speaker 3: in support of foreign terrorist organizations. The seizure comes after
• 10:59
Speaker 3: senior official presented the President with potential war plans and
• 11:03
Speaker 3: then deployed major navy assets to the region. While the
• 11:06
Speaker 3: President himself declined to state a reason for today's seizure,
• 11:09
Speaker 3: which could very well constitute an act of war, he
• 11:13
Speaker 3: did say this could we see American troops on the
• 11:17
  Speaker 3: ground in Venezuela.
• 11:18
  Speaker 2: I don't come, and I wouldn't say that one way
• 11:20
  Speaker 2: or the other.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: In this case, President Trump says, the victor will in
• 11:24
Speaker 3: fact take the spoils.
• 11:29
Speaker 2: When you have to follow the tanker, you know here
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: a good Desmond.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: Just followed the tanker.
• 11:33
Speaker 2: A helicopter followed the tanker. I assume we're.
• 11:37
Speaker 8: Going to keep the The US military strikes on these
• 11:42
Speaker 8: alleged drug boats in the region have so far killed
• 11:45
Speaker 8: at least eighty seven people, a death toll that's become
• 11:48
Speaker 8: increasingly the focus of scrutiny on Capitol Hill, where lawmakers
• 11:51
Speaker 8: have zeroed in on this so called double tap strike
• 11:55
Speaker 8: that was carried out on September second.
• 11:57
Speaker 3: Now yesterday, the Secretaries of State and wore briefed key
• 12:02
Speaker 3: lawmakers on Capitol Hill about these September second boat strikes.
• 12:05
Speaker 3: They indicated reportedly that they are at least considering the
• 12:09
Speaker 3: option to release the full unedited video footage of those strikes.
• 12:14
Speaker 3: That day, Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer told reporters after the
• 12:19
Speaker 3: briefing that Secretary Hegsat said to him they need to
• 12:23
Speaker 3: study these tapes before they make a determination Brett, Jillian
• 12:26
Speaker 3: Turner love the State Department, Jillian, thank you.
• 12:30
Speaker 1: So there it is a president standing up for this country,
• 12:34
Speaker 1: holding these narco terraces accountable, seizing the oil and the
• 12:39
Speaker 1: tankers that are being used to prop up a regime
• 12:42
Speaker 1: that is coming after America, and also working with Iran.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: And what's the point of having I would say to
• 12:50
Speaker 1: those on the left sanctions if you don't actually enforce them.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: These sanctions, by the way, have been around in Democrats administrations,
• 12:59
Speaker 1: including Biden, including Barack Obamas. But if you don't enforce
• 13:05
Speaker 1: the sanctions on these countries, they're meaningless. So really, what
• 13:09
Speaker 1: the President's doing is something pretty simple. He's saying, we
• 13:13
Speaker 1: have sanctions, we are going to take them seriously, we
• 13:16
Speaker 1: are going to enforce them, and we're going to make
• 13:18
Speaker 1: them pay a major price. And all of this is
• 13:22
Speaker 1: to make sure that we keep this country safe from
• 13:25
Speaker 1: these narco terras that have been flooding this country. Venezuela's
• 13:29
Speaker 1: a great example with drugs and fetnyl that is killing
• 13:33
Speaker 1: tens of thousands of Americans. Well done, President Trump.
