- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome back to Wisecracks over here at Fabulous
- 0:03Speaker 1: Circus Sportsbook. Pretty slow right now, the calm before the storm.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Thursday night football, tomorrow we'll start getting pumped up here.
- 0:11Speaker 1: You know, what a great week for sports. I was
- 0:14Speaker 1: saying it on my VEASAN platform. Football, baseball, hockey, baseball playoffs. And,
- 0:22Speaker 1: you know, what a great thing. If you're from Chicago,
- 0:24Speaker 1: like our producer is, and I was saying... The White Sox,
- 0:29Speaker 1: I kind of don't even think, because last year there
- 0:32Speaker 1: was a big bet against team, was the White Sox
- 0:35Speaker 1: season wins. But this year they have surprised everybody. And
- 0:40Speaker 1: one of our producers goes to, you don't go to
- 0:42Speaker 1: White Sox games, all right, Jay? You go to Cubs games. Well,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I'm more of a Cubs fan. Cubs fan. Will you
- 0:47Speaker 1: root for the White Sox, though, too? Yeah, my dad's
- 0:49Speaker 1: a huge White Sox fan. All right. There you go.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I've actually been to both stadiums. and I love Chicago.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Not per se the teams, and I have no allegiance
- 1:02Speaker 1: to any one team, as you guys know, but what
- 1:05Speaker 1: a good time for Chicago sports. How about Monday Night
- 1:09Speaker 1: Football beating the Eagles with a third-string quarterback there, and
- 1:15Speaker 1: Randy's going to be on in a little bit. Randy
- 1:18Speaker 1: was going to I don't know if he played him
- 1:20Speaker 1: in progress, but we can't count that as a win
- 1:23Speaker 1: because he had the second-string quarterback badge. And as he said,
- 1:27Speaker 1: if he plays, but, you know, what an amazing, amazing game.
- 1:32Speaker 1: What an amazing time it must be for the city
- 1:35Speaker 1: of Chicago right now for sports. But just sports betting
- 1:39Speaker 1: in general, look what we're going through here. It's just
- 1:42Speaker 1: a great time to be alive in Las Vegas. So
- 1:46Speaker 1: I have a bunch to get to before we do
- 1:48Speaker 1: get to Randy. You know, as I was walking through
- 1:52Speaker 1: here today, I was... I seen a slot machine, brand
- 1:56Speaker 1: new bank of slot machines. It reminded me when I
- 1:59Speaker 1: was a kid, if any of you guys, of course,
- 2:01Speaker 1: you've seen the movie Big, guys or girls, with Tom Hanks,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and there was a Zoltar machine, and his wish was
- 2:09Speaker 1: to be big, and the Zoltar machine granted his wish.
- 2:12Speaker 1: There's a brand new bank of Zoltar slot machines here.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I was like, wow, you know, they... The slot manufacturers,
- 2:20Speaker 1: of course, they want to get things that touch people,
- 2:23Speaker 1: whether it's the Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, of course,
- 2:27Speaker 1: the original being the Wheel of Fortune. Even my wife,
- 2:30Speaker 1: who doesn't gamble, she wanted to play the Wheel of
- 2:33Speaker 1: Fortune to spin the wheel. My wife doesn't gamble a dollar,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and I remember giving her 20 bucks to try to
- 2:40Speaker 1: spin the wheel. This was in Atlantic City. This was
- 2:44Speaker 1: so long ago. It was at Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
- 2:47Speaker 1: when that game first came out. And she came back
- 2:50Speaker 1: to me and she was pissed. She's like, I can't
- 2:53Speaker 1: believe it. Give me another $ 20. I was like, what?
- 2:56Speaker 1: She's like, I didn't spin the wheel. I want to
- 2:57Speaker 1: spin the wheel. If my wife is having these feelings
- 3:02Speaker 1: that doesn't gamble, what shot does the average Joe walking
- 3:05Speaker 1: around a casino have? I got to tell you, even myself,
- 3:09Speaker 1: not that I was tempted, but I was tempted to
- 3:13Speaker 1: see what the Zoltar machine was. I even stopped and
- 3:17Speaker 1: looked at it, started pressing some of the buttons. I
- 3:19Speaker 1: didn't play it. I didn't put any money in. Sometimes
- 3:22Speaker 1: some of the progressive features on machines, as you guys know,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I will play because they're in an advantaged state when
- 3:29Speaker 1: they're at a certain level of progression. But it's so
- 3:31Speaker 1: widely known now. There's Internet sites. I just seen Anthony
- 3:35Speaker 1: Curtis on his Las Vegas podcast, he had Las Vegas advisor.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He had a guest on that wrote a book about
- 3:45Speaker 1: these machines and these advantage situations. So, um, which, which
- 3:49Speaker 1: by the way, I, I, I love giving shout outs
- 3:51Speaker 1: to these guys. Anthony, we've had Anthony Curtis on our
- 3:53Speaker 1: show before. Um, also the M2M Vegas guys. Uh, they, they, uh,
- 3:59Speaker 1: they're one, they're some of my favorite podcasts every week.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Talk about some fun stuff. They get to the point
- 4:03Speaker 1: and get over with M2M every week. It's miles to memories.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I love watching them. Um, I had some really good
- 4:10Speaker 1: content on today. I even took a photo. I listened
- 4:13Speaker 1: to it. I like to listen to them on the
- 4:14Speaker 1: way in all the time when I'm coming in. And, yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 1: they had... Oh, I know what they had on. They
- 4:20Speaker 1: were talking about the Autumn Artistry display over at the Bellagio,
- 4:26Speaker 1: which I ate last week at... I ate at a
- 4:29Speaker 1: really nice restaurant over there. Carbon Riviera at Bellagio, which
- 4:33Speaker 1: is really nice.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I always.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Listen, if you want to recommend... If you want to
- 4:37Speaker 1: come to town.
- 4:39Speaker 1: With your wife, girlfriend, guma, whoever it may be. That
- 4:44Speaker 1: is a fantastic recommendation I can give. It's beautiful. All marble, tiles, gold.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's just a beautiful, bright area right on the water. Now,
- 4:56Speaker 1: the next couple of weeks, I'd say the next couple
- 4:58Speaker 1: of months, the weather may be perfect for you to
- 5:00Speaker 1: sit outside even right on the water. They tried to
- 5:03Speaker 1: push those seats a lot because it was really hot.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But we didn't choose to go out there. I'm not
- 5:07Speaker 1: a guy who likes to eat outside. I'm a guy
- 5:09Speaker 1: that eats inside. Maybe because it's just back east. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: think of humidity and bugs and the air and the wind.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And you're eating hot food. We don't have that here.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I get it. But there is some weather things for me.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I just I'm an inside guy. But beautiful place over there.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I always recommend them. Carbone. Troy is our waiter over there.
- 5:32Speaker 1: We go there a lot. Carbone. I go to it.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's an area. But that's over at Park MGM. Fantastic.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I know I'm a broken record. Italian American Club. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: going there again this weekend. These are my places that
- 5:45Speaker 1: I go to. Love these places. You know, I was invited,
- 5:49Speaker 1: every year I'm invited to this family reunion in Hillsboro.
- 5:53Speaker 1: My buddy Frankie has this big family reunion. And every
- 5:56Speaker 1: year he does the same thing. He busts my chops
- 5:58Speaker 1: showing this video of the food. Homemade, feel good, mom
- 6:02Speaker 1: and pop. You know, they roast the pig. They have,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you know, it's homemade food. Pork and beans, mashed potatoes.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I love a good deviled egg. Deviled eggs. But every
- 6:15Speaker 1: year he sends me the videos from there. And, you know,
- 6:17Speaker 1: my dad was a countryman. My dad's from a farm
- 6:20Speaker 1: in the country on the West Virginia-Ohio border. So different
- 6:24Speaker 1: than my mom, I always say. Mom was Italian from
- 6:27Speaker 1: the Bronx. Tough. My mother was real tough. Her and
- 6:30Speaker 1: her sister, they'll battle you. But met my dad when
- 6:34Speaker 1: he was in the Navy. He was stationed in, I believe... Perth, Amboy,
- 6:39Speaker 1: New Jersey. He was there, and that's where I met
- 6:42Speaker 1: my mom. But my dad's family, my grandmother and grandfather,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I was so close to them. I was so close
- 6:50Speaker 1: to them, much closer than the other side. Believe it
- 6:52Speaker 1: or not, grandparent-wise, my grandmother died on the other side
- 6:55Speaker 1: when my mom was 10, so I didn't have that opportunity.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But my dad's mom and dad were great cooks both
- 7:04Speaker 1: of them my grandmother was unbelievable so to see this
- 7:07Speaker 1: home cooking and home i was i get jealous every
- 7:10Speaker 1: year and uh they have one of my buddies steve
- 7:13Speaker 1: pegg what a great great he's got a great band
- 7:17Speaker 1: he sings vince gill songs and just uh i have
- 7:20Speaker 1: a video i'm gonna put the jh to go on
- 7:22Speaker 1: there um his guys eddie and josh play every week
- 7:26Speaker 1: in greensboro winston salem area and go rest high I
- 7:44Speaker 1: wrote that down I wanted to give them a shout
- 7:46Speaker 1: out because when you hear someone harmonizing you know like
- 7:49Speaker 1: Vince Gill harmonizes like Steve does What a great job
- 7:52Speaker 1: he does, and a shout-out to them. And sorry I
- 7:55Speaker 1: missed it. I hope I can get there next year.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's so hard during football season to get to a
- 7:58Speaker 1: family reunion in September. So just give a shout-out to them. Guys,
- 8:04Speaker 1: we have some subject matter before we bring Randy on.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I want to talk about some different things that have
- 8:10Speaker 1: happened throughout the week. And, you know, I'm a music guy.
- 8:14Speaker 1: We're talking about some music. So the other night I
- 8:17Speaker 1: was watching football, and it switched over to the MTV Awards,
- 8:22Speaker 1: which I haven't watched in probably 30 years. I have
- 8:25Speaker 1: no interest in watching the award shows. I really don't
- 8:28Speaker 1: know any of these new groups or anything. There was
- 8:31Speaker 1: a girl on there named Lisa. She opened up the
- 8:35Speaker 1: award show and won K-pop, which I'm embarrassed to say
- 8:39Speaker 1: I don't know what K-pop is. But K-pop, she won
- 8:43Speaker 1: the award. So I looked here in Vegas. She's coming here.
- 8:48Speaker 1: By the way, she has 107 million subscribers. followers on...
- 8:53Speaker 1: Now I realize why. 107 million, more than double the
- 8:57Speaker 1: population of South Korea. That's how many followers she has
- 9:00Speaker 1: on Instagram. So she's going to be here. She was
- 9:03Speaker 1: sold out Caesars Palace residency. They added additional dates in November. Also,
- 9:11Speaker 1: A Perfect Circle. That is Maynard, I believe. I think that's...
- 9:16Speaker 1: A Perfect Circle is a multi-plant artist fan. We have
- 9:19Speaker 1: Tools lead singer Maynard who, amazingly, I would know that, right?
- 9:23Speaker 1: But they're really heavy. But he has some pretty good
- 9:25Speaker 1: songs that I've actually listened to him. But yeah, they're
- 9:28Speaker 1: going to be at Fountain Blue. And I thought it
- 9:32Speaker 1: was pretty cool that, I believe, I'm not 100% positive here. Yes,
- 9:38Speaker 1: it does say it. I am 100% positive that. I'm sorry, guys,
- 9:41Speaker 1: for not being up on this. So it's a perfect
- 9:44Speaker 1: circle opened up. The cult is opening up for them. Now,
- 9:47Speaker 1: the cult, I love the cult. So, I may actually
- 9:51Speaker 1: go see this, even though I only know a couple
- 9:53Speaker 1: songs by Maynard, but he has a great voice. So,
- 9:56Speaker 1: the cult opening up. Also, the long... rumored production show
- 10:02Speaker 1: it's a Pink Floyd production show is going to be
- 10:05Speaker 1: at the Sphere not happening however they have a little
- 10:08Speaker 1: bit of a consolation here Roger Waters presents Legacy a
- 10:12Speaker 1: Pink Floyd show coming to the Pearl at the Palm
- 10:14Speaker 1: September 16th his son has a 10 piece band I'd
- 10:19Speaker 1: like to know, I'd like to hear about the band first,
- 10:21Speaker 1: see how they do. Maybe I'll see them next time around.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Because I've just seen the Australian Pink Floyd for the
- 10:27Speaker 1: sixth time, which were unbelievable. They are just so good.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And I am also going to Brit Floyd later this
- 10:34Speaker 1: month over at, I believe it's at the Orleans. So
- 10:38Speaker 1: I love Pink Floyd. I'm not really a Roger Waters
- 10:42Speaker 1: fan on his own. He's a little bit too political
- 10:46Speaker 1: for me. He's just out there. Like, you know, I
- 10:48Speaker 1: try not, Stay away from politics. And you know why, too?
- 10:53Speaker 1: I admit it. Why am I blaming politics? I'll blame
- 10:56Speaker 1: him not getting together with David Gilmour and the rest
- 11:01Speaker 1: of Pink Floyd there when he could have. The last
- 11:06Speaker 1: time they were together was at... It was like 2000.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It was like 26 years ago. They said, when pigs fly,
- 11:16Speaker 1: it was just a four-song... get-together they had, which was unbelievable.
- 11:21Speaker 1: All four of them did get together on stage after,
- 11:24Speaker 1: I think, 25 years before that. They weren't on stage
- 11:27Speaker 1: in the 80s, and they did get together for a
- 11:32Speaker 1: charity event, which I thought was a big charity event.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So I thought that was fantastic. Anyway, that's some music
- 11:40Speaker 1: scenes there. Oh, Madonna. I couldn't believe Madonna... I didn't
- 11:43Speaker 1: even know Madonna was still an act, I have to
- 11:45Speaker 1: tell you. How can she win the Entertainer of the Year,
- 11:48Speaker 1: beating out some of the biggest groups? Taylor Swift, I've
- 11:53Speaker 1: seen that. It was on in the background. It was
- 11:56Speaker 1: Taylor Swift. It was so many big acts, though. I
- 11:59Speaker 1: say her because she's the biggest one. But it was
- 12:01Speaker 1: some really big names. Ariana Grande and the Canadian act. Boy,
- 12:07Speaker 1: what's his name? I've got a Canadian guy here. Drake.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Was it Drake or... By the way, whoever it was. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: so anyway, I didn't know Madonna was even an actor.
- 12:18Speaker 1: So I watched Madonna sing a song. I mean, yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 1: she looks great. She's 68. She's going to be 69. And,
- 12:24Speaker 1: you know, when I was a kid growing up in
- 12:26Speaker 1: New York and North Jersey, Madonna was the biggest act.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I mean, I've seen her a couple times. So I
- 12:31Speaker 1: guess congratulations to her. But she might be a little
- 12:34Speaker 1: bit of a wackadoo, too.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I see this article about Vegas Mitsbus Casino Betting Systems.
- 12:40Speaker 1: by Corey Levitan, who's one of my favorite writers. He's
- 12:43Speaker 1: on casino.org. Nothing destroys a casino bankroll quite like a
- 12:48Speaker 1: betting system, especially a foolproof one. So there's been more
- 12:52Speaker 1: books written again on this Martingale system, which is a
- 12:56Speaker 1: fail system. It's a fail. People want to double up,
- 13:00Speaker 1: you know, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80. And yeah, you
- 13:04Speaker 1: may win short term, but long term, you're not going
- 13:07Speaker 1: to beat any kind of a system. This book, I
- 13:11Speaker 1: shouldn't really give him credit here. The new improved Martingale
- 13:15Speaker 1: betting system.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 13:18Speaker 1: The roulette wheel does not owe you a win just
- 13:22Speaker 1: because you have been mugged by it. You are never due.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You are never due. I love that start about it.
- 13:27Speaker 1: The fundamental reasoning the Martingale system and its variations fail
- 13:32Speaker 1: is no amount of information about past results can predict
- 13:35Speaker 1: future outcomes with accuracy. Absolutely correct. So it's just like
- 13:41Speaker 1: a coin flip, you know. It's even money. I understand
- 13:45Speaker 1: you want to bet red or black on a single zero,
- 13:48Speaker 1: which is hard enough to find here in Las Vegas
- 13:51Speaker 1: or any gambling jurisdiction, really. But this just talks about
- 13:56Speaker 1: how the reason why, well, I'm going to talk about
- 14:00Speaker 1: the reason why you can't beat this game. And I
- 14:04Speaker 1: get it. I get it. I'm going to read you
- 14:06Speaker 1: a quote here. I'll read you one line. In reality,
- 14:08Speaker 1: while a streak of six losses in a row has
- 14:11Speaker 1: a relatively low 1.8 probability on a single zero roulette wheel,
- 14:15Speaker 1: assuming you can even find one on the strip, the
- 14:17Speaker 1: chances of encountering the same six loss streak at some
- 14:20Speaker 1: point during a string of 200 plays is about 84%.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Even a 10 loss streak carries about an 11% chance
- 14:27Speaker 1: of occurring in 200 plays. at which point you'll need
- 14:30Speaker 1: to pony up $ 10, 240 just to try to recoup a
- 14:35Speaker 1: single $ 10 bill. And that's exactly what I mean. Who
- 14:39Speaker 1: has that kind of money? The loss would hurt you.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The $ 10, 000 loss. The $ 10 wouldn't mean anything to you.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's sick. It's sick that people think they can do this.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And by the way, the real reason why you can't
- 14:52Speaker 1: do this is because the tables have a maximum bet.
- 14:57Speaker 1: That's the reason why. You can't even bet $ 10, 000 on
- 15:02Speaker 1: a red or black at most tables. So that is
- 15:04Speaker 1: the reason why. Put it this way. It takes 17
- 15:09Speaker 1: doublings of a $ 10 base bet.
- 15:12Speaker 2: $ 1.
- 15:12Speaker 1: 3 million, which you have to wager.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I mean, come on.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It's just crazy. But people think they should be betting
- 15:22Speaker 1: these kind of things. So I think that's kind of...
- 15:25Speaker 1: When I read these articles, I feel I should... share
- 15:28Speaker 1: with you guys that. And you know what? We're going
- 15:31Speaker 1: to bring Randy on for a couple of these other
- 15:34Speaker 1: subjects I have. And yeah, just a few today, guys.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We appreciate you guys watching, liking, subscribing. Let's bring Randy on. Hey, guys,
- 15:42Speaker 1: Bill Krakenberger over here at Fabulous Circa. I want to
- 15:45Speaker 1: talk a little bit about Wager Talk. 23-13 on NFL props.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I've been telling you guys we're going to beat the props.
- 15:51Speaker 1: This is one of the only sportsbooks in town that
- 15:53Speaker 1: take props. We have here Caesars, BetMGM. As you guys know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: at Resorts World, I tried to bet my props last week,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and they basically cheated me. unbelievably, but that's going to
- 16:05Speaker 1: happen sometimes when you win. So get on board. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: always tell you, get on board for the season. NFL
- 16:11Speaker 1: player props, we're absolutely going to kill them. And we
- 16:15Speaker 1: actually bet more of your bankroll on props than you
- 16:18Speaker 1: do on sides and totals. Player props is where it's at.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Of course, if your guys have DraftKings, FanDuel, all the
- 16:25Speaker 1: other sites like Bet365, I can go on and on
- 16:28Speaker 1: and on. They're great because we want to give you
- 16:30Speaker 1: a line. I give you an obtainable line. at all
- 16:33Speaker 1: of those sites. There we go. Hey, Randy McKay. All right,
- 16:36Speaker 1: people are waiting for you. Wow, where'd you get that
- 16:38Speaker 1: Grandissimo hat? Randy, I hope you're wearing that thing all
- 16:41Speaker 1: year long.
- 16:42Speaker 2: That's all I can tell you.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah, same outfit. Got to have the Grandissimo hat. Got
- 16:47Speaker 3: to have the Mayville State on for support Matt Donovan,
- 16:50Speaker 3: the quarterback still in intensive care coma in Fargo, North Dakota.
- 16:55Speaker 3: So hopefully he gets better.
- 16:56Speaker 2: All right, we wish him the best.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I went down to Glendale, went to the game, supported
- 17:02Speaker 3: the team last Saturday night. So I did the three
- 17:05Speaker 3: and a half hour drive both, you know, back and forth.
- 17:08Speaker 3: So it was a long Saturday for me.
- 17:10Speaker 2: That's a long, that's a long drive. Um, but good,
- 17:14Speaker 2: good for you.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Hey, Randy, I want to talk about some subject matter
- 17:16Speaker 1: before we get into any place here. Um, So there's
- 17:21Speaker 1: an article up on casino.org. Devin O'Connor wrote, should underage
- 17:25Speaker 1: gambling be a crime? Some New Jersey lawmakers say no. Now,
- 17:31Speaker 1: even though I've been in casinos since I was 16
- 17:34Speaker 1: over there in Atlantic City, I really didn't know that
- 17:38Speaker 1: they just throw you out. I didn't realize that they
- 17:43Speaker 1: actually will fine you. So they'll fine people for underage
- 17:48Speaker 1: gambling underage. how do you find someone at 16 or 17?
- 17:52Speaker 1: I didn't really realize they even do do that. I
- 17:56Speaker 1: think they really don't enforce a fine, but they do
- 17:58Speaker 1: will throw you out, take your photo and say that
- 18:01Speaker 1: you will be maybe even criminally prosecuted. If you do
- 18:04Speaker 1: it again, you can always play stupid and say, if
- 18:07Speaker 1: you're 18, Oh, I didn't know it was 21, I guess.
- 18:10Speaker 2: So my question to you is.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Randy, how long, what was your first time that you
- 18:14Speaker 1: were in a casino is what I meant to say.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I didn't go to a casino until I was 21,
- 18:19Speaker 3: but of course I gambled many times before that. They
- 18:23Speaker 3: have in the bars of North Dakota, they used to
- 18:26Speaker 3: have blackjack. And of course I used to go into
- 18:28Speaker 3: those bars when I was 16, 17 and drank and
- 18:32Speaker 3: then sometimes play the blackjack or tabs. So A fisher,
- 18:36Speaker 3: that answer would be 16 or 17, I guess.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:39Speaker 1: No, but a legal licensed casino, you were a good boy, 21.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Yep.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Randy, when did you learn? I never asked you this question.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Great time for it. When did you learn advantage gambling?
- 18:51Speaker 3: Well, I didn't really, you know, I was always kind
- 18:54Speaker 3: of studying poker when I was growing up because I
- 18:57Speaker 3: used to see my, you know, my grandfather reportedly won
- 19:01Speaker 3: a quarter of land at a smoker. They had these
- 19:04Speaker 3: old smokers. you know, days back in North Dakota, you know,
- 19:08Speaker 3: where people would gamble for days at a time at
- 19:11Speaker 3: them play poker. And so I got into poker. I
- 19:15Speaker 3: learned cribbage as a young age.
- 19:17Speaker 2: So I heard that in years.
- 19:20Speaker 3: So I learned how to kind of do poker book
- 19:23Speaker 3: of oil, learn kind of poker odds. And then of
- 19:27Speaker 3: course the movie Kenny Rogers, the gambler came out when
- 19:31Speaker 3: I was about 12. So that kind of got me
- 19:34Speaker 3: into poker, you know, No one to hold them, no
- 19:37Speaker 3: one to fold them type deal. So that got me
- 19:39Speaker 3: interested in poker, learned about it, got really good at it.
- 19:45Speaker 3: And then when I did turn 18, actually, when I
- 19:48Speaker 3: turned 21, I was able to play in the big
- 19:50Speaker 3: game back home. They had a big game with the
- 19:52Speaker 3: older guys. Of course, the sheriff and the deputy were
- 19:56Speaker 3: in that game. You know, mostly they played five, $ 10 limit,
- 19:59Speaker 3: which was pretty big at that time, 91. But then
- 20:03Speaker 3: the stakes got a little higher. So that's when I
- 20:05Speaker 3: started playing poker and making money when I was in college.
- 20:09Speaker 3: you know, I was still kind of a degenerate and
- 20:11Speaker 3: gave my, used to give my bankroll back. And then
- 20:15Speaker 3: I worked in casinos for a while. And finally I
- 20:18Speaker 3: learned discipline and not to, you know, shoot the moon
- 20:21Speaker 3: every time when you had an edge was, uh, you know, the,
- 20:25Speaker 3: the big thing, I didn't have a real good discipline
- 20:28Speaker 3: and always was shooting the moon too much. And, uh,
- 20:31Speaker 3: Had to go back and forth from being broke and
- 20:34Speaker 3: being pumped.
- 20:34Speaker 2: We've all been broke.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You know, I'm not one of those influencers that's going
- 20:40Speaker 1: to come on here and tell you, oh, yeah, I
- 20:41Speaker 1: always made money.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I'm doing great. You know, I'll talk about, you know,
- 20:47Speaker 2: going broke.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Making so many bad decisions, you know, trusting the wrong people.
- 20:54Speaker 2: And I've come back, you know, from a giant, giant.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You know, deficit actually 20 years ago or 15 years
- 21:05Speaker 1: ago where, you know, I've had a lot of money stolen.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Just like Randy, I've never asked you this question.
- 21:11Speaker 1: You must, I'm sure like me, you have a ton
- 21:13Speaker 1: of money owed to you from either partners, bookmakers, agents,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and you know, um, just, just people jumping over a
- 21:23Speaker 1: dollar bill, a hundred dollar bill to grab a dollar.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I'm sure you've had the same thing.
- 21:27Speaker 3: So, yeah, that's kind of the risk we take, you know,
- 21:31Speaker 3: and some of the things we do, you know, there's,
- 21:33Speaker 3: there's good business deals and then it turns out to
- 21:36Speaker 3: be a bad business deal, unfortunately. And that's kind of
- 21:39Speaker 3: the risk, you know, the cost of, you know, having
- 21:42Speaker 3: to do some things. And, you know, as, as you
- 21:45Speaker 3: get better at this, the toughest thing is when you win,
- 21:48Speaker 3: you'd it's tougher to get paid nowadays than, you know,
- 21:51Speaker 3: or to get down and then get paid is, is
- 21:55Speaker 3: like two of their tougher things to do better at gambling.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Just now someone that's here, I'm not going to say
- 22:02Speaker 1: the name. I, I know him. He actually went partners
- 22:05Speaker 1: on a, one of the picks with me. And one
- 22:09Speaker 1: of the survivors with me, he said to me, oh,
- 22:12Speaker 1: you know, where we are in Canada, I have great outs.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You know, I can get us down great outs. I'm
- 22:18Speaker 1: a nice guy. But I said, you know, the problem is,
- 22:22Speaker 1: you know, A, I live in Nevada, where it would
- 22:26Speaker 1: be illegal to gamble across state lines. B, I know
- 22:29Speaker 1: a lot of people do that, but B is the
- 22:32Speaker 1: more important thing.
- 22:34Speaker 2: You know me.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I don't know you, you know? So, uh, it would
- 22:39Speaker 1: be a very tough, uh, a very tough thing to do.
- 22:42Speaker 1: And you have to crush people. But, um, so anyway,
- 22:45Speaker 1: going back to the purpose of me saying, um, The
- 22:49Speaker 1: purpose of me saying that, just in general, I had
- 22:53Speaker 1: a big problem this past week trying to get down.
- 22:57Speaker 1: If you know, over at Resorts World, I'm sure you've
- 22:59Speaker 1: seen the video. Yeah, they're absolutely cheating what they were doing.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I didn't explain it in layman's terms for a lot
- 23:09Speaker 1: of people. So I went to Resorts World for the
- 23:11Speaker 1: first time trying to bet the kiosk. And I got
- 23:14Speaker 1: through props. I said, let me bet 200 each. If
- 23:17Speaker 1: I like them, if they didn't move, I'll bet them
- 23:19Speaker 1: 200 bucks again. You know, I'll give them a chance
- 23:21Speaker 1: to move the line. So for 200 bucks, the first
- 23:24Speaker 1: five went through. Then I noticed them putting me on
- 23:27Speaker 1: a delay and it was spinning and saying it's going
- 23:30Speaker 1: to the approval team. And then I said, you know what,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna record this. I know what's gonna happen.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I figured they were just gonna deny the bet and
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to lower it. Well, it was worse
- 23:40Speaker 2: than that.
- 23:41Speaker 1: They denied the bet and then tried to charge me
- 23:44Speaker 1: like 60 cents more. juice so people were saying well
- 23:49Speaker 1: just bet the opposite side well one you can't bet
- 23:52Speaker 1: the props at the window kiosk only at resorts world
- 23:56Speaker 1: two no matter what i was betting now if i
- 23:59Speaker 1: went to the other side of that bet it would
- 24:01Speaker 1: go through approval again they would cancel it and move
- 24:05Speaker 1: it again to minus 70 on the other side absolute
- 24:08Speaker 1: cheating absolute cheating so um I had the recording and,
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know, I actually called gaming, Nevada Gaming, and I
- 24:19Speaker 1: got a pretty good agent on the phone. Sometimes it's
- 24:21Speaker 1: hard to get a good gaming agent because they mainly
- 24:25Speaker 1: police the table games, slots.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Not a lot of sports betting things.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So maybe they don't know the terminology or understand what
- 24:32Speaker 1: really happened. I explained it to him and he actually
- 24:35Speaker 1: did understand, but basically told me there was really nothing
- 24:41Speaker 1: he can do. And I even said to him, he's like, well,
- 24:46Speaker 1: technically they could say someone's betting. No, no, no, no.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You can't say someone's betting on the app because that's
- 24:51Speaker 1: not what happened here. And then of course I said,
- 24:53Speaker 1: you can come down You can pick any prop you want.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I'm going to put it in. I'll put the money
- 24:57Speaker 1: up to 100 bucks. You'll see they'll do it to you,
- 24:59Speaker 1: which will be me.
- 25:00Speaker 2: You know, obviously, I'm not going to let him break
- 25:02Speaker 2: a law by him betting it.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So, yeah, it's really unfortunate and a shame that we
- 25:09Speaker 1: were in a time and a place where you're betting
- 25:12Speaker 1: something and they're cheating.
- 25:13Speaker 2: As you can see, we're at the fabulous Circa Sportsbook.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You can see behind us. Absolutely love this place, guys.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Look at this atmosphere. Look how cool this is.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Derek's Palace.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Barracks palace the gambling hall of fame uh really cool
- 25:28Speaker 1: here so anyway um yeah it's a shame that that
- 25:33Speaker 1: we're at a time and a place i was in
- 25:34Speaker 1: a five billion dollar building and they're actually cheating people
- 25:38Speaker 1: unbelievable have you ever had an experience with anything like that.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Uh, you do every once in a while on these,
- 25:45Speaker 3: some of these sports book apps where they move stuff
- 25:47Speaker 3: on you.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I get it. I get it. The apps are different.
- 25:50Speaker 3: But off the kiosk, that is really cheating you.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Resorts world.
- 25:55Speaker 1: People shouldn't give them a dollar of their money anywhere
- 25:57Speaker 1: in that casino, anywhere in that corporation.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Cheating people.
- 26:01Speaker 1: The people in risk should be fired for this. They
- 26:04Speaker 1: should be fired for this, for doing this, because they
- 26:07Speaker 1: just didn't want, they're too lazy. They don't want to
- 26:10Speaker 1: approve bets. They got so mad that someone's betting $ 200
- 26:13Speaker 1: that they just, you know, I'll put it this way.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Whoever that is in risk, have the balls to do
- 26:18Speaker 1: what I do, bet for a living, go around betting,
- 26:20Speaker 1: not having guaranteed profits.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Giant paychecks coming.
- 26:24Speaker 1: In, you know, uh, have the balls to bet for
- 26:26Speaker 1: a living, see how hard it is to go through that.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Now, of course, um, I know, I know we win.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I get it. We, we went, I had a big
- 26:34Speaker 2: week on props.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Um, matter of fact, I went eight and one, I
- 26:36Speaker 1: would've went eight and two over at, at, um, at
- 26:39Speaker 1: resorts world. Uh, I did when I did when I
- 26:41Speaker 1: beat them over, I even tipped them when I went
- 26:43Speaker 1: to the counter and cashed my eight tickets, uh, They
- 26:45Speaker 1: knew about the tweet already because it got 125,000 views.
- 26:48Speaker 2: They already knew about it. I tipped the guys at
- 26:50Speaker 2: the counter. It's not their fault.
- 26:52Speaker 1: The managers and stuff, the clerks, real nice guys, as
- 26:55Speaker 1: a matter of fact.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's a really nice area. The food is
- 26:59Speaker 3: actually pretty good there. I used to stay there. They
- 27:01Speaker 3: used to roll out the red carpet, let me play there.
- 27:05Speaker 3: They've really gone downhill. You know, that casino could be
- 27:10Speaker 3: so great. and they just have dropped the ball on
- 27:14Speaker 3: everything they've done as far as even in the casino,
- 27:18Speaker 3: the sports book was a total disaster from the get go,
- 27:22Speaker 3: you know? And then of course they had that, you
- 27:25Speaker 3: had the guy on that had the gambling problem where
- 27:27Speaker 3: they got the big fine guy. So they have totally
- 27:32Speaker 3: dropped the ball, which they have a beautiful property there.
- 27:36Speaker 3: They did a great job. You know, I thought that
- 27:38Speaker 3: was really going to be a, You know, a replacement
- 27:41Speaker 3: for the Riviera place in my heart was one of
- 27:43Speaker 3: my favorite places.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Love the Riviera.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Vegas back in the day. But they've just destroyed that place. Fortunately,
- 27:53Speaker 3: Fountain Blue has actually picked it up.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I like Fountain Blue. I think it's beautiful in there.
- 27:58Speaker 3: They've picked it up and they have these concerts and,
- 28:01Speaker 3: you know, people are starting to, you know, go there
- 28:03Speaker 3: and they're starting to cater more to gamblers. You know,
- 28:06Speaker 3: Vegas Mattis, of course, helped that out. But they built
- 28:09Speaker 3: a nice new room, high limit room. And I recommend
- 28:13Speaker 3: people that they don't go to resorts will go over there.
- 28:16Speaker 3: You'll get a better deal.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Duran Duran and Billy Idol there recently.
- 28:21Speaker 1: We've had some we've had some really good speakers on here.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Unfortunately, I hope it's all the sound still OK.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But yeah, so we've had some great concerts over there.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And I like Fountain Blue. I think it's beautiful in there.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Mother Wolf, great restaurant over there. Randy, this Harris Cherokee,
- 28:41Speaker 1: the dealer has pleaded guilty. in $ 132, 000 crap cheating schemes.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You know when they play those, they have these one-man
- 28:49Speaker 1: crap games now with the stick. They play a one-man.
- 28:53Speaker 1: And yeah, so this guy was cheating for the players
- 28:57Speaker 1: and he got caught. I'm sure he won a lot
- 29:00Speaker 1: more money.
- 29:00Speaker 2: But prosecutors are seeking.
- 29:03Speaker 1: $ 131, 000 back from the player that he was cheating with.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I guess they enter it on the table. I don't
- 29:12Speaker 1: know how that game works. I guess they enter it
- 29:14Speaker 1: when the number comes out, winner eight, they put it
- 29:17Speaker 1: in a computer, winner eight. It's not automatically, it's not
- 29:20Speaker 1: a camera on the die wherever it lands on the table.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It's And this dealer was putting in, let's say it
- 29:25Speaker 1: was a 5-2. On a die, he would put in 5-3, 8,
- 29:29Speaker 1: winner 8, instead of a loser 7 out. And I've
- 29:33Speaker 1: seen that story. I can imagine how many times that
- 29:37Speaker 1: casinos have been cheated over the.
- 29:39Speaker 2: years by an employer.
- 29:41Speaker 1: We know this has happened many times in many different
- 29:43Speaker 1: casinos around the world.
- 29:45Speaker 2: But to see this.
- 29:48Speaker 1: At that one-man crap game, I don't want to say
- 29:52Speaker 1: it's because they were so frugal on themselves, but a
- 29:56Speaker 1: crap table used to have three dealers, two base dealers,
- 29:59Speaker 1: a stick man, a box person, a floor person for
- 30:04Speaker 1: the table. So now there was five people... By the way,
- 30:08Speaker 1: there was a pit boss going around the pit, too.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So six people policing a dice game.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Now you want to cut it down to three where
- 30:15Speaker 1: they don't have a box person or a floor person.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Now you want to cut it down to one. Of
- 30:21Speaker 1: course there's going to be some collusion. Of course there is.
- 30:24Speaker 1: So you want to cut the staff out. there's zero
- 30:26Speaker 1: game protection. A lot of these games are so bad.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So that was a, a scheme that I thought was
- 30:33Speaker 1: pretty interesting that this dice scheme and sooner or later,
- 30:36Speaker 1: of course, a one man crap table sets being run
- 30:40Speaker 1: by a stick man.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That's a gambler is going to have some collusion.
- 30:43Speaker 3: And crack you. I don't know if your viewers know,
- 30:46Speaker 3: you know, that I used to be a former crap dealer.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Where were you dealing at?
- 30:51Speaker 3: I got started in 1993 down here in gold nugget Laughlin.
- 30:55Speaker 3: back in the day and dealt there a couple of years.
- 30:58Speaker 3: And I was a supervisor up in North Dakota, taught
- 31:00Speaker 3: the native Americans how to deal craps at Dakota magic
- 31:04Speaker 3: casino was my last job in 1997. So I, I
- 31:08Speaker 3: know all about, you know, craps and scams and that
- 31:11Speaker 3: kind of thing. Game protection is so hard in that game.
- 31:15Speaker 3: It's so fast moving. And then if you have a
- 31:18Speaker 3: one person tub, that's what they call it. The tub, uh,
- 31:23Speaker 3: trying to do that, and then they've tried to automate
- 31:25Speaker 3: it to this new thing. There can be so many
- 31:28Speaker 3: stipulations and problems with doing that that I'm surprised even
- 31:34Speaker 3: they have that in a pit. You know, they should
- 31:36Speaker 3: go back to having more game protection if they don't
- 31:39Speaker 3: want to get cheated in that game because it's, you know,
- 31:42Speaker 3: very easy for, you know, just even to call out
- 31:47Speaker 3: a couple 12s, you know, the dice is spinning and
- 31:50Speaker 3: the six is there. Hey, 12, you know. The guy
- 31:53Speaker 3: has a big bet on 12 or something. Or there's a,
- 31:55Speaker 3: you know, you've heard of the dice sliding and all
- 31:58Speaker 3: that other stuff. So that's a game that's easily that
- 32:02Speaker 3: can be cheated. And so I'm just surprised. I'm not
- 32:07Speaker 3: surprised that this happened. You know, the more that you
- 32:11Speaker 3: don't protect your game and more you don't have employees
- 32:14Speaker 3: on that type of game, these kind of mistakes are
- 32:18Speaker 3: going to happen. And unfortunately for this casino, they learned
- 32:21Speaker 3: the hard way.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Randy, I'm going to pull up Circa's lines real quick
- 32:26Speaker 1: and get a photo of the lines so you won't
- 32:29Speaker 1: see me for a second. But last week, 1-1-1 on
- 32:33Speaker 1: their three picks.
- 32:36Speaker 2: You might have even won.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Did you have the money line on Baltimore or minus
- 32:39Speaker 1: two and a half or did you get a push?
- 32:42Speaker 3: No, I had a little money line. Yeah, I still
- 32:44Speaker 3: had a pretty good winning week. Unfortunately, before the show
- 32:47Speaker 3: aired there, or before the show came on or later on,
- 32:52Speaker 3: I I added Washington. Biggest public favor of the week
- 32:56Speaker 3: was Seattle. I added them and, you know, a lot
- 33:00Speaker 3: of free bets on the money line there. And so
- 33:05Speaker 3: that worked out pretty good. I had a good week.
- 33:07Speaker 3: So hopefully I have a good week this week and
- 33:09Speaker 3: then prove on the record, you know, sorry for that
- 33:11Speaker 3: Saints loss. You know, they lost 10 point lead in
- 33:15Speaker 3: the third quarter with a lot of bad turnovers. But
- 33:18Speaker 3: we move on to this week.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Try to be a little quieter in here. I can
- 33:23Speaker 2: see some little hole here. So tell me, Randy, what
- 33:27Speaker 2: are you looking at this week? What are you looking
- 33:29Speaker 2: at this week?
- 33:30Speaker 3: All right, right away, Thursday night football. Are you excited?
- 33:35Speaker 3: The big matchup here with Pittsburgh versus Cleveland.
- 33:42Speaker 2: All right, what do you got there?
- 33:44Speaker 3: I like the underdog here getting three.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Okay. Three is widely available. There's three's available. I'm looking,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I just wanted to look at the screen here. Of
- 33:54Speaker 1: course we know that South point has plus three, but
- 33:58Speaker 1: there is even circa here. Plus three is minus one 15.
- 34:02Speaker 1: So why do you like that?
- 34:04Speaker 3: All right. There's a lot of reasons to like the
- 34:06Speaker 3: home team here. And only one reason not to like
- 34:09Speaker 3: them would be a first year coach on a Thursday
- 34:11Speaker 3: night game. There's some kind of thing that they don't
- 34:14Speaker 3: produce a good record there, but I'm, I'm going to
- 34:17Speaker 3: kind of not ignore that one on this one because
- 34:20Speaker 3: I like the other things that favor Cleveland here. You know,
- 34:23Speaker 3: you've got a home team in a short week, which
- 34:26Speaker 3: we've seen in the past. The home teams usually do
- 34:28Speaker 3: pretty good on Thursday night football. Cleveland has won four
- 34:32Speaker 3: straight versus the Steelers at home. Usually it's a home
- 34:36Speaker 3: and home series when these two teams play. So, of course,
- 34:40Speaker 3: the dog pound or whatever they call it nowadays will
- 34:43Speaker 3: be jacked up for that game against their defense. against
- 34:46Speaker 3: their big rival there in the Steelers. And then I
- 34:50Speaker 3: like the way Cleveland's been winning these close games. You know,
- 34:54Speaker 3: they had a tough game against Carolina last week, exciting game,
- 34:57Speaker 3: and they pulled it off. They killed everybody in Survivor
- 35:01Speaker 3: with the Tampa Bay close win. So as far as
- 35:04Speaker 3: the rosters go, except for maybe quarterback, you know, I
- 35:08Speaker 3: like the Cleveland roster. They're getting better offensive line players.
- 35:12Speaker 3: And I think they have a better, a little better
- 35:14Speaker 3: defense maybe than the Steelers in this matchup. You know,
- 35:17Speaker 3: the Steelers did get an impressive win last week, but
- 35:20Speaker 3: getting plus three at home with a team that usually
- 35:23Speaker 3: wins at home against this team looks like a good
- 35:26Speaker 3: bet to me.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
- 35:28Speaker 2: That's your first play. What else you got?
- 35:30Speaker 3: All right. I'm going to stay on the hot team
- 35:32Speaker 3: here for Monday night football. And I, I did take
- 35:35Speaker 3: some four and a half, even though Cleveland or Keenum
- 35:38Speaker 3: was in there instead of Tyson Badgett. I don't, it
- 35:43Speaker 3: doesn't bother me who's the quarterback now because I, it
- 35:46Speaker 3: looks like Cleveland Keenum is going to be the quarterback
- 35:48Speaker 3: there and he looked very well. Okay. Mainly betting against,
- 35:53Speaker 3: you know, getting minus three here. Of course, if you
- 35:56Speaker 3: probably might have to lay a little juice on that number, but, uh,
- 36:00Speaker 3: Jets are a little bit more feisty this year, but, uh,
- 36:02Speaker 3: their top player, Bryce Hall, the running back is out. And, uh,
- 36:08Speaker 3: they've been feisty. You know, the market is a little
- 36:11Speaker 3: higher on them than they should be. I see the bears.
- 36:14Speaker 3: This should be a, you know, coaching, coaching, miss mismatch
- 36:19Speaker 3: with Ben Johnson versus Aaron Glenn, not a big fan
- 36:22Speaker 3: of Aaron Glenn. They, these are two former Detroit coaches
- 36:26Speaker 3: and I like Ben Johnson a lot more. Of course,
- 36:28Speaker 3: Aaron Glenn did make a good adjustment last week going
- 36:32Speaker 3: for two down, two touchdowns, which I'm surprised he did. But, uh,
- 36:37Speaker 3: I usually don't like taking a Monday night football winner,
- 36:40Speaker 3: but in this case, I think this line's too low
- 36:43Speaker 3: and I'm going to jump on the Chicago bears again
- 36:46Speaker 3: at home.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Minus three, minus one 10 at South point, minus three,
- 36:50Speaker 1: minus one 20 right here. Of course, you know, I
- 36:56Speaker 1: think Glenn is– I say, of course, I thought that
- 36:59Speaker 1: they blew– that game versus Green Bay was just so bad.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I blame the coach on that one. All right, so
- 37:06Speaker 2: we have two plays so far. Do you have anything else?
- 37:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to go back to the well here.
- 37:12Speaker 3: We've had them three weeks. We lost with them, unfortunately,
- 37:16Speaker 3: last week. So, you know, I did bet this early,
- 37:19Speaker 3: two and a half, that them might be dried up.
- 37:23Speaker 3: But we always encourage to have more outs. Look in
- 37:25Speaker 3: the drop-down menu if you still can get a two
- 37:28Speaker 3: and a half in this game. Big Monday night matchup here.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I'm going to come back with the Saints, even though
- 37:34Speaker 3: Atlanta has more rest. And, you know, they just had
- 37:38Speaker 3: that one bad third quarter, third, fourth quarter where they
- 37:41Speaker 3: turned the ball over. Otherwise, I really like this team.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I like this matchup going in. And a little fact here,
- 37:48Speaker 3: this is the 20-year anniversary of Katrina. and the Saints
- 37:51Speaker 3: returning on that Monday night football game where Steve Gleason,
- 37:55Speaker 3: you know, blocked that punt to start off their rejuvenation.
- 38:00Speaker 3: And actually, you know, they went on a Super Bowl
- 38:02Speaker 3: run as well with Sean Payton and Drew Brees. So
- 38:06Speaker 3: I see that as a little motivation factor in this
- 38:09Speaker 3: game as well. Still don't know about this Falcon team,
- 38:12Speaker 3: you know, coming off their high point win on Green Bay. But,
- 38:17Speaker 3: you know, their defense still has really bad injuries. And
- 38:21Speaker 3: we still don't know where we're going to get out
- 38:23Speaker 3: of Michael Penix. He was against a pretty poor Green
- 38:26Speaker 3: Bay offense that last game. So like the Saints again
- 38:30Speaker 3: here on the short number at home.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Minus two and a half, minus 110 at South Point,
- 38:36Speaker 1: minus two and a half, minus 15 right here at Circa.
- 38:39Speaker 1: There's a nice three-pack from Randy.
- 38:41Speaker 2: And, yeah, anything else? That's it. We're done.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I might have some late ads, some injury reporting I'm
- 38:49Speaker 3: looking at. So looking at San Francisco and Dallas, but
- 38:55Speaker 3: still need to catch up on some injury. There's some
- 38:58Speaker 3: injuries that might take me off both those plays.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Okay, so nothing official there.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I think both of them are on the right side,
- 39:06Speaker 3: but I like those two.
- 39:09Speaker 2: And at RR39 is Randy's Twitter account. Of course, I'm
- 39:14Speaker 2: at Bill Crackman with a K. And okay, Randy, good.
- 39:18Speaker 2: We got some good plays.
- 39:19Speaker 1: And one last thing here is people want to know college.
- 39:26Speaker 2: It's not really nothing. We can't really get nothing from
- 39:28Speaker 2: you right now, though.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 39:30Speaker 2: Cause those games, those lines don't come up.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:32Speaker 3: The FCS games don't come out really. You know, there's
- 39:36Speaker 3: maybe one book that has rogue lines, you know, so I,
- 39:41Speaker 3: I don't really bet those till Saturday morning. I could
- 39:44Speaker 3: release some in a, in a tweet or something, but, uh,
- 39:47Speaker 3: my college, uh, starts off, you know, betting them FCS
- 39:51Speaker 3: teams versus the FCS in matchups I like. So I
- 39:55Speaker 3: don't bet as many. But I do bet some of
- 39:59Speaker 3: the regular college as well. But, of course, them are
- 40:02Speaker 3: late ads and more so on other people's that I
- 40:06Speaker 3: follow more so than my own work. So I don't
- 40:09Speaker 3: like to give out plays that I follow people on.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Okay. You know, I just want to give a shout
- 40:17Speaker 2: out to WagerWire.
- 40:18Speaker 1: They're all here for the conference this week, G2E in town.
- 40:22Speaker 2: And Matt Chappers, I went to dinner with him last night.
- 40:26Speaker 1: And it's amazing how their license, WagerWire, has landed a
- 40:30Speaker 1: license in Gibraltar. He just flew back from Gibraltar, who
- 40:33Speaker 1: only gives out so many licenses. So I'll read the
- 40:37Speaker 1: text he sent to me. WagerWire landed a license in
- 40:40Speaker 1: Gibraltar for international prediction markets and just opened up its
- 40:43Speaker 1: office there last week. The strength of Gibraltar license and
- 40:46Speaker 1: its status as one of the premier global gaming hubs, etc.
- 40:50Speaker 2: And, yeah, it's interesting because I.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Know, like, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, these places are, like,
- 40:57Speaker 1: you can go to Curacao, Antigua, these other places and
- 41:00Speaker 1: get licensed much easier, making sure you know the right people, wink, wink,
- 41:06Speaker 1: in a lot of different jurisdictions. So WagerWire will be
- 41:09Speaker 1: back with one of their things next week, WagerWire.com, WagerWire app.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Randy, we'll see you next week on Wisecracks.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, are you.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Checking out anything at G2E? There's plenty of new machines,
- 41:21Speaker 3: I think, out.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Really?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Go look around. All right. Get a little laugh. I've
- 41:26Speaker 3: done it a couple years.
- 41:27Speaker 2: I went there for a second.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I went there for a second, and I was supposed
- 41:31Speaker 1: to go there today. Didn't go, which I'm happy not going, actually.
- 41:35Speaker 2: It's just so big there.
- 41:36Speaker 1: But the machines are pretty cool to check out. Sometimes
- 41:39Speaker 1: they don't let you videotape the machines, too.
- 41:40Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 41:41Speaker 1: They get so strange on their new machines. And you
- 41:45Speaker 1: can videotape from the outside, but if you get close,
- 41:47Speaker 1: they get weird.
- 41:48Speaker 2: So anyway, all right. We'll see you next week. Thanks, guys.
- 41:51Speaker 3: All right. Good luck, everybody.
