I hope I get to try more phrases today. Lucas: Exactly. Today we're going to finish the eye checkup visit. And we have some great phrases for you to practice. Luna: Great, because my eyes need all the help they can get. Lucas: Alright, first phrase: నాకు కంటి చెకప్ కావాలి. This means 'I need an eye checkup.' Let's say it slowly: నాకు కంటి చెకప్ కావాలి. Luna: నాకు కంటి చెకప్ కావాలి. Lucas: Perfect. And a normal speed: నాకు కంటి చెకప్ కావాలి. Luna: నాకు కంటి చెకప్ కావాలి. Lucas: Now, imagine you're at the optician and you can't see clearly. You say: నాకు స్పష్టంగా కనిపించడం లేదు. That means 'I can't see clearly.' Repeat after me: నాకు స్పష్టంగా కనిపించడం లేదు. Luna: నాకు స్పష్టంగా కనిపించడం లేదు. Lucas: Good. And again: నాకు స్పష్టంగా కనిపించడం లేదు. Luna: నాకు స్పష్టంగా కనిపించడం లేదు. Lucas: Now, when the doctor asks you to cover your left eye, they say: ఎడమ కన్ను మూసుకోండి. That's 'Close your left eye.' Let's try it: ఎడమ కన్ను మూసుకోండి. Luna: ఎడమ కన్ను మూసుకోండి. Lucas: Great. And after that, they might say: కుడి కన్ను తెరవండి. 'Open your right eye.' Repeat: కుడి కన్ను తెరవండి. Luna: కుడి కన్ను తెరవండి. Lucas: Nice. Now, when the test is over and you can see clearly, you say: ఇది నాకు బాగా కనిపిస్తుంది. 'I can see well now.' Try it: ఇది నాకు బాగా కనిపిస్తుంది. Luna: ఇది నాకు బాగా కనిపిస్తుంది. Lucas: Perfect. So now you have five useful phrases for the optician.
