- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, there was something random.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: You can't start making it obvious that it's a pot.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think people like my ensures better because they just feel more, more chill.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, this is what we're taking right now.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'll deal with what's to get a plan.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't like the plant and she's like, babe, what do you think about this plant?
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, let me see.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: She shows it to me.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a skinny, long plant.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like plants like that.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's a drachania or drachania plant.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: You want to get the visual.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's this like a skinny trunk and then at the very tipy top of the of the skinny branch, there's like a tiny little poof
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, terrible plant.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like you only like stick plants.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like do we have this plant in the cloud over here?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, okay, let me speak.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm so I say no.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like this plant and she goes into her phone and she looks for a different plant My bucket.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's gonna show me a different one and guess what?
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: She shows me the same plant.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the brothers and sisters She's like the same type of family same type of plant.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: One is just a little bit taller or short.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like these plants
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I like them.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like your plan.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing in situations?
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't like your plan.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we already have it.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I want to get a plant that I like that you don't like so then we're like we're trying to get you even Yeah, because all the other plants we have we both like and then there's no plant I don't know about that what other plant that you like all your low's plant that like hang down You only loves to bring up random things on the podcast that like make for like a good story But he's just like messing around.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's not true.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's true
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: So what's up you guys, welcome back to the pod.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: This is our first pad, pad.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: So welcome welcome to the pad cast.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: So our first, whoa.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: You could tell what kind of podcast is going to be today?
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is our first podcast back after leaving for a week from New York.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: We went a little trippy trip to Malta.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was a Malta.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, but then the guy that was there that small teas said like molten.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is molten No, I say malta.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, with an oh sound.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: I remember when we were all saying maybe he had like too many drinks at the end of the day Is it molten or malta?
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like some people say I've heard many people on the chips in molten.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying But I'm just like, bro, isn't it malta?
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: Clearly if you're from mouth that let me know how you say it.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but we want to give you as always whenever we travel We give you a recap of the stories Things and we got we got a lot of stories.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna do like a quick a quick round of the stories because What does it have to be quick?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because I got other things.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: I gotta do no, okay?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: You can leave.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can continue
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so should we get into it first first things first, right?
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: This trip was a brand trip, right?
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: So this brand invited me and then I got you need to be my plus one on this trip.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I feel like we have to say the brand today.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the brand was Insta360 camera because I'm not going to be able to talk about this whole thing without saying what the brand is.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody knows the Insta360 camera brand.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like an action camera, but they have like so many cool cameras that like a 360 camera.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a sponsored out.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to look into it, look into it.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: But we were invited and then we went.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing was that it was super last minute planning on the air part and like them figuring out.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: So we didn't know what the dinner he was.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: When I was invited, I had no idea what the vibe was at all.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: But I was just excited, obviously, because it was our first brand trip.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like Martha, we got to go somewhere, okay, let's go.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, pretty much.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I'm not going to say no to...
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: I got a picture.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: I got a confession to make.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, I had no idea where Malta was.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean actually no, I knew it was around Italy and I knew it was an island.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: I just didn't know it was actually a country that can independent.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't definitely know it, they know that it is.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because it's kind of as big as like city, not as like New York City.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's bigger.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like Brooklyn is, no, it's big.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: For a country, it's really small, but let's not pretend like it's a neighborhood.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it's not, it's not like just Brooklyn.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I'm just floating.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just like a big rock.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, it's like a good size, you know, we drove around like a lot.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I would say we went into the trip not really knowing what the vibe was.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what are the activities, what's the theme of the trip, like, what are we doing?
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, before we get there, how did we pack?
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: Super light.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Super light.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's all you have to, I don't have anything to say about the fact.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, I mean, like, actually, that doesn't matter.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get to multi, right?
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: So we get there.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: We get there.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: The flight was absolutely terrible.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: We had insane turbulence on the inside.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: It was insane.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it was non-stop.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't insane, but it was like the worst flight I've ever had.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Where there's turbulence, the entire time.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: Is it true that you're almost cried?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: Is it true, as if there's a rumor going on online that you're almost right?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can't tell you on it, he's in a very funky mood right now.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: And now, honestly, I looked over and you looked very worried.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't worried.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: I just was annoyed because it was non-stop and I wanted to sleep and I can sleep because any time I was like drifting into sleep, then it would just move me around, you know?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: And you have so much time, Ellie, is asleep.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: She has like this eye mask.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: I am mask on.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: So any time the plane moves just like a little bit.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: What time it dipped like it dipped almost like a couple feet.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it dropped more than a couple feet We felt I don't know but it dropped and I like the way you wake up and look around.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's as if like Somebody knocked on your door randomly in the middle of the night.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: I lift like one side of the I mask up And I'm looking around like the one thing and like what do you want to see?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, is everyone else freaking out or is it just me?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's not all I'm looking for.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: But anyways, we get to Malta the first night where they're meeting everybody kind of overwhelming because it was like a pretty big group of people like around 30 or so people.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: There was creators, there was a whole media team there that's like Basin Malta that was getting content and there was also the like the Insta360 team that was like organizing this whole thing.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, you're meeting everybody, trying to write, remember people's names.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really bad, I remember people's names.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, I was like, really making an effort to like, remember everyone's names.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: Well, when we first met everyone, is we got, we got there around like, a little bit before eight o'clock in dinner, the first dinner or second dinner, first dinner was at eight o'clock at the hotel.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got it.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: We get there, like at seven something, we go to the room.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I, I think I shoured and then went back downstairs, right?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, because we were like fresh off the plane.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: dining area and everybody's eating many different people, so it's not just us, it's family, people on vacation, so everybody's kind of like mingling a little bit, there's two long tables.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: That are for us.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: for Insta360.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Cool, so I get there, and you know what I mean, I love to introduce myself to people.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: So what do I do?
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: I go around all table, I guess I did leave out.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: I did, right?
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, you know, I'm not going to do myself just scared.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: I thought we were real quick.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but everybody forgot your name by the time.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: I got to say what's up to everybody, literally.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like mid-comication, high-hardy doing my New Zealand, boom, boom, I say what's up to everybody.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: I say what's up to one table.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: The other table, you want to be like, just too much.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: So the table, we were going to say that.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: I say what's up to everybody.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then one guy was like, um, good luck remembering everyone's name.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: Because the moment the moment someone tells me their name, and I go to the next person, I forgot the last person.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's almost like they say it.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I forget, as you know, as they say, it's just like when they say it, something in my head goes, me.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: No, that happens to me like all the time.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: If somebody like like recognizes me on the street or something and then we talk for a little bit.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like I always ask their name, but like I forget.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's really bad.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so then we sit down, we hang out.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: And then we end up like talking to a couple who actually brought their two kids on the trip, which was really great.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: We end up like hang out with them quite a bit on the trip, getting to know them really cool people, getting to talk about like the future.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Louie and Naraya.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, shout out to Louie and Naraya.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: I have to give you guys a shout out because...
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was a big part of my trip, and why I think I enjoyed it the way I did.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Not because of anything else was bad, but it was because it was nice to... Yeah, we really connected with them.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it was great.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: It was nice.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: So if you listen to this, we... Sure, I'll see you guys soon.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the first the first day was just like dinner whatever the second day We were like apparently easing into the day and I feel like the first day We just kind of like explored random little sites and stuff like that and first day That was the real that was the 7 a.m. morning, right?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we woke up so early.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of don't know why we did that.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: It was sort of an a serious Especially because everybody was like I felt like I felt like the first day of school.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know your wake-up is just like then what do I what why am I up this early?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know I really felt like that
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: And the first day was kind of like an eventful.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we're gonna skip to the second day.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: First day, we were, you would just stayed around.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, we went to like a few like historical sites.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: The first day was the boat, the boat rides.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, like that guy was like showing us the blue water.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, really, really cool.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was really fast, but it was, the water in Malta is amazing.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's like...
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's so clear you can see the sand under the water.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then there was a lot of like white sand on the bottom.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: So then you can really see the color of the water.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was also some rocks that had this like coral or something on it that like would be like a very effervescent sort of like blue.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: like aquatic blue color.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: It was, it was insane.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: But the first, the first day we didn't do any specific like activities like physical activities.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's what I want to get to because this trip for me was probably the most adventurous and adventure full trip.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: And it really kind of changed my perspective.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: It just changed my perspective on like how I want to approach future travels
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm just we're not really people that go on like nature outdoorsy physical adventures Like when we're traveling wouldn't we're much more like let's be in the city or in the tiny city like when I went to my arco We just went to all the little like towns and just went around a lot of water activities
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, water activities.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: We could have like probably done some sort of, I don't know, like, we could have done a beach.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: We could have done.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, we didn't.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: We went to the beach.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's America.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, we did.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what are you talking about?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: But that was the only time.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: But we didn't like go in the water.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't go on a boat.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't go on a hike.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure like Hikes Meyerhood have been amazing.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: you know, it would have been so like it's such a different experience.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I think like moving forward travels, whenever you go to a place like that that has that obviously if you go to like Tokyo or something like what are you going to like, but if we were to go to Japan, like I would want to include some sort of like,
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: City or town where you could get more like outdoorsy and get the vibe of that place as well because like every country Every place has a little bit of both you mentioned Tokyo and the first thing I thought about was like then we really went to Tokyo Seriously, because I remember that being such a like I want to go to Tokyo one day You know and now it's just like in the past we're looking to go second time
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: I really want to go.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: But basically the second day, the activity, the first activity was the climbing.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: First activity was via Farata.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: So we did a via Ferata.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know what that was.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was like the name of the place or like the name of the mountain or whatever like stony thing we were on.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: But via Ferata is a kind of rock climbing.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: which is basically just via ferata.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: So by the ferata, which I think is like wire or like cable, like metal, yeah.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, you are doing a climb via by the ferata.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: But like a via ferata could be like anywhere.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like a kind of climb.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: So the thing was,
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: that we didn't really know like we weren't really communicated exactly like how long these activities were going to be it was it was very much like okay guys like this morning this is that scenario we got in the bus we got to the destination we knew like
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: Sort of what to do or like how to dress for the day and we knew it was going to be like muddy or it was going to be So it's like we're prepared sort of but we're never told like this is going to be like an hour climb and there will be some of this and like some of that Like you know how do you guys feel about it was kind of going and blind into a lot of these activities Which in the moment was like a little bit scary, but
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: While we were doing them, it was really fun.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: How did you feel about the climb?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: Because this was legit.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: There was two options.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: You could do absailing, which I had to look a photo up, because I didn't know what absailing is.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's basically like you're hanging from the top of a ledge, but it's like rocky.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine like a, I don't know.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like I feel like I'm having a hard time describing it.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the top of a mountain, you're like already at the top.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: You're just going down and you kind of like bouncing.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's bouncing.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: You're like hopping down and you're flowing hanging.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like you're fully you have a harness and you're strapped into a harness and hanging like attached to a A rope type of thing.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I keep getting these Romanian like words that's how many there.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Go from gear.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like a fringier like a like a thick rope.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: You just have to a fringier
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so then you're like leaning back every look behind you.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's literally just nothing It's just air.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like down the ridge, you know, just the earth the earth.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that was one option Which I was like hell, no, I'm just gonna start that.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: The other one was that you just start from the bottom and you climb up Yeah, it up.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know what was funny, but when we first got there everybody's putting the things on putting the helmets on I couldn't fit the helmet
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, because you only got a big head of hair.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: I got a lot of hair and also my head is just big.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's the hair.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because your head size is like, yeah, it's a bigger head than mine, obviously, but it's not like an oversized head.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me feel better.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's just now it's oversized because of your hair.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, I couldn't fit it, but then somehow, you managed.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I couldn't strap the bottom.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I had to extend it a little bit.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: But anyways, I put that on.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's getting ready.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're putting the harness on our legs.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, let's get this tight on you.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: And this whole time I'm thinking, like, I don't know what this, like, can you show me a picture?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to know what it looked like exactly like I could get an idea Because then when we when we made the choice between do a via ferrata or Appselling we just kind of like my first thing was like which one is more dangerous?
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: and tell them about the disclaimer that we got.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, the sort of way, before we get to the disclaimer, so this is still in the parking lot, everybody's getting like their things on, everybody's getting like their cameras.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because while we're doing these activities, everybody's also filming getting content.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, you can talk to each other, hang out, but everybody's kind of like, you know, think about their video, right?
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay, cool.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: We walk over everybody's trapped up, everybody's good, right?
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: We walk over to the edge of the street.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: We walk over to the area where the splitting would happen.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Some people go left to go do this thing, and then we go right to the other side.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: So imagine this is like, we're in very rocky sort of mountainous areas, but it's like, it's like dry desert rock, right?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, and we're driving on this road that is on the edge.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: of a mountain, and then we got off on this road, which is on the edge, and then we just were walking on this road that we drove on, and the beginning of these like absealing stuff was right there.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: So you know what's going to be very satisfying?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be posting some photos on the WCJ Instagram account of this where we're talking about.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: So you can get the picture.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: So you can see it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's hard to explain, huh?
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's hard to explain.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to explain.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I was like, I wasn't sure if I wanted to be my film camera with me or not, but I did, and I'm so happy I did.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: It was just like for safety concerns, because everything was rocky, so in case like something falls, yeah.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: Really break.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: Aobrek and A U U wouldn't see it.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: It was just disappearing in the earth.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: So the disclaimer guy comes up we drop off the people that go to absentee absailing right we're walking on the road and he's like here's the first drop off Anybody who's doing absailing this is your stop Everybody else is doing the Vfeta that we're gonna keep walking and we're gonna start like going down off the road
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I have no visual to go off of I'm just like I hope this is the right decision today.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it kind of started off like sort of just like a walk like a hiking sort of like you know there's mud there's bushes before that the disclaimer the guy said it was like all right guys.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: So it rains the last couple days.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: It rained really hard like the night before, he was like, I was here yet last night or yesterday, it is extremely slippery so you're gonna be shocked.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: when your foot will slip and it will slip and it will slip so just be prepared the whole time I'm thinking so what are we doing why are we doing this then yeah like we were all looking at each other like so why should we still like if he thinks this is an experienced guy he does this feet for a year this is his company yeah and he's like it's extremely there's an
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the decision I'm taking in the blinds.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I want, he didn't even say it, but you're strapped in.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: So like even if you slip, you'll be good.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like he didn't even say that.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: He just kept saying like a so slippery, like it's not good.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he said, this is extremely treacherous, treacherous.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's an insane minister.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, so I'm just into some looking at Aliyah, like, well, we're here now.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, we start to go as Aliyah said, he was just going to write a little hike down here a little bit.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to say too, that there was a few groups within the people that were invited, the content creators, there was some that this is really their shit.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like raw climbing, like cliff jumping.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, that's, they're like three diving.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: And shout out to them.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: And shout out to them, yeah, this is great.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: So this is, I was like that.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, oh, yeah, this is just what we do.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: But then there was also our side and group of creators that like, this is not what we do.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the type of content that we make.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: But the activities were more leaning towards the other groups like preferred type of activities.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like, you mix these two groups and I definitely did feel that sort of even though nobody was pressuring anybody.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: It was like that peer pressure of kind of like we're here.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing this and you don't want to be that one person that's like a scaredy cat.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, who is like, no, I'm not going to do it.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm scared.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: We're never what especially because I didn't even know what it was.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: But especially when someone else who also didn't know what it was and or never done it before,
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is true.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: So you kind of just want to be like, okay, well, let's do it.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm down.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: So we go down here.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was chill.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was like wet and slippery.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing was like, there was rocks.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was a mud.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then the rocks, the mud will get stuck to your shoes.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then the, you would step on these like slippery rocks with mud on your shoes.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it was just like a really bad comment.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: I almost slipped before we got to any, any type of steep area.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very shoes you are wearing.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was wearing the sambas and then Aliyah was wearing.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: I was wearing like Solomon hiking shoes, which I'm so glad that I chose to bring those instead of my only two because that I got into a pan that would have been so stupid.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: If anybody brought white shoes by the end of this, your shoes were brown.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think someone was hiking in like whites shoes that had like sweet on them.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, gee.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that would have been bad.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's over.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: So we go down here.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: And now first I'm thinking like, okay, cool, this is not that bad, but in my, the back of my mind I know that this is, it's got, this is just to begin.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really like to get to the thing you got to walk a little bit.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I thought maybe this was just kind of it, like we were just going to sort of do like a hike type of thing.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I knew it.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: But it didn't make sense because if we were going to do that, like, why would we have harnesses and why would we have, like, helmets on our head if we're just walking around.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I sort of, but the walk to actually get the viaferata took a while, like you, I don't know.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: I was maybe like 10 minutes.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: And it was slippery.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: And it was slippery, so we were like, I was almost sitting down like this is already dangerous.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like in certain areas, I fully sat down on the rock and just went to the next rock like that.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he was doing like the backwards crab.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: Crab rock.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_00]: Cause I'm tall.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like my fall would end also my back was hurting.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it wasn't the smartest.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just like, if I fall right now, I might really break some shit, right?
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: So Alias, walking in front of me, I think there was like the instructor was in front of you.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: You were behind them, I was behind you, and then the rest was behind behind behind me.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we're also like trying to film at the same time as we're doing all these things.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, you also got to be careful because it's really easy to get distracted.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like, as you're filming and you slip,
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so let's explain this, right?
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, when we're filming, we're not just filming, we'll warn our mouth, like the cameras were attached to us, like with, at least for me, that's what I mean.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, the camera was attached to my chest, but at times like I took it off, so then I could talk to the camera.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: When it's chill.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when it's chill, but sometimes you don't know if it's chill, it's easy to not pay attention if you're trying to divide your attention.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: But we're walking, everything's cool, we're kind of just talking to the instructor, and that times, you know, you have to be a little bit more careful, so he's helping you and all that.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: And after about like 10, 15 minutes of just this type of like walking, trying not to slip on these rocks and stuff, at this point, you're not attached anything.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: We get to the first climb.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Now, these climb?
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: I remember where that was.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: The first climb was like with the silver steps, remember?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: to go up, right?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was like basically this he was giving us a demo once we so like you're already 10 15 minutes like in this thing If you wanted to turn back at any point like that was the point where you turned back
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't like that scary because there was like the rocks were going up.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a wall of rock, basically.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: But they embedded these sort of like silver handles that were for your feet and for your hands.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: And you use those to climb.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have your harness that has two
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: straps with carabiners, which are these metal hooks, you know, and then you hook yourself onto the steps and then you like, unhook as you keep climbing and hook onto the next one.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: So they're telling us like, for safety, you know, always have like both hooks on at the same time, don't like take a step and have the hook in your hand, like we're doing how the stage things, you know?
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: So it felt safe.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: the way that they're explaining like you just if you take a nice and slow like you're good.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: Even if you slip, the harness is going to hold you up.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've been slipping to felt dangerous because once you slip, it's not a cute slip.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you slip and your knee will hit the wall, I feel like.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like I heard my knee a little later.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like the first climb was okay.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the later climbs, there was a one-point where I got stuck and I was like actually scared But I was scared because I just didn't want to slip because I feel like slipping is so scary like for your heart You know what I mean.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like you're climbing and your foot slips and when like it slips because you put your entire like weight on it So when you slip you actually fall it's not like oh, Shilip my foot back you slip and you fall yeah and like automatically like as a human Doesn't matter that you know you're strapped in you're still gonna be scared
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about that, the thing holding me that I'm seeing.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to hang off straps and like, there's nothing behind me.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is so scary.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: So when Ali is stuck, I'm right behind her because we're all following each other in a line.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: So this is actually at the very end.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: You can't, you know, it was, ah, it was that it was at the very end.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the thing was, the thing was pretty long.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: But the climbs, there was like, there was three,
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then they were all with the silver things.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: But then for me, because I am shorter, I had to also use some of the actual rock, because the silver things at times they were a little bit too far from each other.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: But it was really fun.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like both times, it is adrenaline and like tools, they grow how to do it.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: And even though you're hanging literally on the side of the mountain, it felt like comfortable.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: Because you're just looking in front of you.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I didn't look back.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean either.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: I like looked at my feet and you can kind of see, but you're still something about being like in that position.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: It, it's very like your super laser focused on just like where your hands are and where your feet are.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're not really overthinking about like the fact that there's nothing behind you.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right, and also before I committed to fully putting my weight on something I would like test it out Test it like it would be like bouncing his foot.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just like is this good in case I got to like so we do that for about 15 minutes And then we get to the corner where we all kind of stopped the line was pretty long how many people was it like I think it was like 10 of us man.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, so we stopping and I don't know what ahead of us
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: And then we turn the corner.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: And as you're walking, you're kind of the walking portions after you climb are sort of like these paths that are pretty solid, you know, but they're you're still walking on the edge of the of the crest and then you're hooking your hooked up to like the wire or like the rope that is around.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: So you're like, yeah, you're having to really walking, you're always like attached to this thing in case you do.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, or like you don't pay attention or someone bumps into you or something like you just never know what's going to happen So we get to the corner and then guess what is it blind?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what you say is it blind is like, oh, it's not the scary thing to meet you was scary
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: It was cool.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: I was more scared of the clams and the zipline.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not at all.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: The zipline was crazy because it was a pretty long distance.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was a pretty long distance and I'm looking like, are we really about to do this right now?
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like, do we have to do this?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're like, yeah, this is because we got to continue.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: And you didn't have to do it.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: You could walk down and like, get back eventually.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: But you didn't want to.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: People walk down, not everybody won.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, really?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and like the media team met us there and they didn't get, they didn't like climb with us.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you didn't realize.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't have to do this at blind.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: Well, anyways, if you don't know what a zip line is, you can look it up right now so you can get a picture, but you get strapped onto this wire, I think wire such a, at this rope, this cable, and then you get to, you're hanging from the stand, right?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what a zip line is, just look it up.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: But the Zipline was fun because you and then things that when you're on it, there's nothing under Yeah, there's nothing underneath, but I'm glad I did it.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't know It's like of course.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't not gonna do it But I was just like them.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we have to go through this like is there another way to go around there was I guess you didn't realize But also I don't think you would have left because also after the Zipline there was another climb
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: And that was the final one, but when someone does something like the whole group does something you just want to do it to Yeah, and also you saw everybody go by like everyone was fine Yeah, and while we were doing the Zipline we had to like you know get video and then it was like okay Like grab the camera as you're like going on a zip line and it's like thinking about so many things at the same time
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: I got a good photo of you.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: Herad in the middle, yeah.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you didn't see it, yeah.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't think he showed me.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: But it was... How did you at one before me?
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: And she did her little scream.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Wooo!
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: My God!
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody did.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I wasn't like screaming.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like I wasn't like...
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was just like, well, it's just so cool.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then I went after her and it was cool, but it was scary and super uncomfortable.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it was so fast that I didn't...
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: Nah, I was good after one time.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: You were shielded longer?
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like because I was thinking about like filming and then...
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: it was like over and I didn't really see like the distance around me.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like I didn't, I didn't like register it by the time it was over.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was crazy.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: I would have done it back and then back again, definitely.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because when you get to the other side to the other mountain basically there's a guy they're waiting and then you got to like he's has to like catch you basically.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: And we found out that that was his first day on the job.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Was it?
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, maybe you weren't there when I was having a conversation, but there's a log going on.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was his first or second day.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, can can someone else catch me?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you're good.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: Cause also if you're stuck in the middle of the zip line, they'll just like pull out.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you can, you can pull, you can get pulled back.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then after that.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, go ahead.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: And after that, it was the last climb, and that's a climb that was really stressful because it was like, we had some of those silver steps, but then eventually we also kind of didn't have a guide anymore.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: And for that guy, remember, like, there was nobody demonstrating, like,
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: how to get that like around this boulder thing and at that point there was also no silver stuff like it was just no silver stuff.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: It was just the the wire that you keep hooking yourself on as you are like climbing but it's all like putting your feet in your hands in the rock.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to like find like the grip and you can need to find like where to put your foot and it was kind of helpful that everybody had mud on their shoes because you could tell like where other people's feet went.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: But still, like, there was a point where I was like, this just doesn't feel like secure, you know?
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I just really, really, really did not want to like slip because it's just so scary.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that specific, um, Boulder was like, it was kind of like out.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: It was like the if it's flat this one is out of the flatness Yeah, so basically if you fall there's no ground under you.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like you would have been hanging fully It was sort of like inverted like you were climbing like back.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how to explain it But it wasn't just straight up and down and you're just like on the side So gravity was kind of working against you yeah more and I got stuck and I was like I need I kind of need the instructor to like tell me where to put my foot
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because also you can't see like all the angles.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_00]: That was the most difficult part, right?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was the very end.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then once I got past it, I was good.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: I was right.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: It was really fun.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like I will say climbing.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed it.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I would definitely like to do it again.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like with a guide, someone that tells you what to do it, where to go, what to do.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed it.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: Would I do it again?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think something that helped me a lot is have long legs.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I was able to reach.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: pockets.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Then everybody was able to reach.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: And let's say, I mean, we got to the top and and then I just felt so I was so happy.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: It was all.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: But you felt so accomplished, right?
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's cool.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like you literally are like climbing this rock.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: I know, well, the cool thing for me was that I've never done anything like that.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I, um, like I usually don't go for these steps at types of activities.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but it was fun.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then we got, we got back on the bus and then we got food right after, right?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got lunch and then I figured what the second activity of the, oh, then it was kayaking.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same day.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: Then we went kayaking, which kayaking guys.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: This is...
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: This was the only spurs time in the kayaking.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I remember I feel like I could have a whole different episode on just each activity that we did.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, long story short.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: The kayaking was a little bit rushed because we had a limit amount of daylight left because it was like the second half of the day.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: And it was like not really clear against where we were going, what we were doing and the person that was guiding us left first and wasn't really waiting for everybody to be ready so we could all go together.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: And another thing too about Malta that we didn't really even know we were talking to our friend Matt yesterday
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: like lived in Malta for several months.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: So when we were telling him all the stories, he was like laughing because it was taking him back.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: But the water in Malta is like open ocean water.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Or like see what?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's there's currents, there's waves.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like chill water.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: And it's always windy, which is not a good combination whenever you're doing any sort of water activities because the water was just not chill.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the water wasn't chill, and but we decided to go and get on a kayak together.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I was not at all thinking we were going to go on our own kayaks.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was a good idea that and you'll see why later on in the story, why it was a great idea that we went together.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, we go, we follow the background in front of us, right?
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: We go.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't know where we were going, and we didn't know how far we were going either.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we did it.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like it.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, but at that moment, I'm not thinking of anything, I'm just like, okay, this is my first time.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just thinking this is exciting.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: I've never been on this ship before.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was cool.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going, and at this time, the direction we were going to, we were going with the current.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: So it was pretty, it was fairly easy.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was still like hard just because it's like it was windy and it's pretty like the waves were pretty like not big, but the water waves yeah was choppy water, so then like you know your kayak is moving differently compared to if you were like on a lake, which is the only type of kayaking I've ever done is on a lake, which is still water, you know what I mean, like it doesn't move.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: um and as we're going we're like leaving from our hotel so then we're going around the hotel and then everybody's kind of going in a row because people kind of sort of left like one after the other and we left like almost the last people.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: And as we're going, we're kayaking, we're trying to get our rhythm and everything.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: And we also are like filming at the same time, so trying to like figure out our cameras and all that.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: I did not bring like photo camera on this activity, so unfortunately, I don't have a force to share of that moment.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I mean, maybe we will have photos of like just iPhone photos that we took.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, just that regular kayak, like it wasn't really, we had life vest and everything.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: And as we're kayaking, we get around the corner from our hotel.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: And we kind of like turn into the open water fully.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then one of the guys that was like one of the creators on the on the trip, he, we see him like turning around.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he kind of seemed like one of those guys that was like, you know, used to doing these sort of activities.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it was a little bit like, huh, like he's turning around, even though we didn't talk to him, it just gave us a sign that like, he's not really going for, like he's not, he's turning around, he's coming back.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I wasn't sure why he, he turned around, but I remember just, he crossed my mind like I wanna walk, like why he's going back, you know?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think too much of it because he had other things to take care of.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and while we're going, we're with this other guy that's also part of the group, and he We're sort of going like in tandem in the same direction.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was with with Alvin, right?
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: With Alvin.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, because then I remember we said, you're like, oh, did you see like Steven turned back?
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, and we're going in, we're about like 30 minutes into just in the kayak like going and we just see like everybody's in the distance, we see all the orange kayaks and they're just going and we're like, where are they going like how far are we going and then I remember we were thinking like, I don't know, like should we go back, should we keep going, whatever you don't have far it is and we were already getting tired.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: Any time I go anywhere, I think about the energy I have to spend to get back.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: With anything.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, with anything.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: So if I'm, if I'm on a run, I got to know, I got to go back.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, if it's not like a loop obviously.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, obviously.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, you know a bit, but I think we just got to go back because it's going to be a fight.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: And when we left, the kayak people that we rented the kayaks from told us, like, just so you know, on your way back, you're going to be against the current.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be really hard for you to get back.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we're already prepared in our minds that like getting back is going to be harder than just being getting here to where we are.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_01]: So better to turn around now than later.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I wasn't prepared for what I thought I was prepared for.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: And, you're so dramatic.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, bro.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't prepared.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_01]: So we end up deciding, like, okay, we don't know where these guys are going.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is too much right now.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: So that Steven turned around, like, let's turn around.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: We'll make our way back.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: We got, like, some footage in the kayak.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we're good.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, we had no idea.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there was a whole specific destination that we were supposed to go to, called the Blue Lagoon.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: that we were going to kayak two, which was two full bays away.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like we were in the first bay of water, and then we would have gotten around a second one.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then like it was we were like a quarter of the way.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's like five miles.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it was five.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: It was four miles.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe three miles.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like it's different walking or running through miles versus being in a kayak.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: I would chop your water.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was just insane.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it was just a fact that like we didn't know.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: So it was it was like kind of a confusing confusing setup.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we turned around.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: We made our way back, even though making our way back took us like also another 30 minutes.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: No, you took longer.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: Longer, like 45 minutes.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: It took a minute.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: It took longer.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: So now words is like fighting against the water.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm looking at the hotel as like a guy to see how close we were getting.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because we left from the hotel.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I'm like in the water and you just seem like that we weren't getting any closer to the hotel I'm just like yo, this is gonna take forever So long story short about the kayaking we get there we get back to the beach and I just remember it's being feeling so happy to just have my feet on the ground
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the thing is it's just like it is scary, you know, being on the kayak, the wind is blowing the sun is in your face, the water is turbulent, like you're, it's, it's not a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: So then we got back, we were the two other people that turn around were there on the beach, we ended up just like chilling and we were chilling there for like a minute.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it ended up happening that a lot of people couldn't make their way back because of how bad the waves and the currents and all this stuff was.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: So we ended up, like, there was a boat that ended up pulling people in.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: People were like, having a really, it wasn't, it wasn't the best, just overall, like, situation.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: from the timing to rushing to the distance to also everyone's abilities is different.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like nobody really knew what they were getting into because nobody told us how far.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: So the kayak was pretty crazy and that was like the first and last time into the last day that we got on the water because we avoided it at all costs of them.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, the work.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: So the cool thing is they gave us like a different for each activity or each day there was like another option for you.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: The starting the next day starting the first day with the climbing in the kayak was like, that was the only activity.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I chose anything that's not that's like not water, right?
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: So there was horse riding.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, not the next day was the Buggies, or not Buggies.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Buggies, not Buggies, even when you talk about it.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: It was the Buggies.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: It could be small cars.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: Small cars, 4x4s, whatever you call it.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: And that was probably the most fun I've had this year.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, actually, something about just like, um,
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like a dirty...
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: Rush.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: Just like, I feel like I like that stuff.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was just what I'm saying.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it really... And I love driving too.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: Something in us that it was so fun.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like we got in these small cars.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I got in one car.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's like an open car, you know.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like there's no windows and there's nothing.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: And there's all like metal and shit.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's loud, so when you turn on the car, it's like metal-hating metal.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like intense.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have to really press on that gas all the way to like, and you feel the car carrying your way.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: So crazy because I was driving, but you could feel that we were pushing.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like the car felt like like ratchet and almost like it was going to break down, but like in a good way.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in a good way and And then yeah, we were just like driving around Malta.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: We went to a bunch of we went to like a cave You're so cool to drive through the city's small alleys We were going fast.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we were going like sometimes It was everything was open and you got to see like beautiful panoramic views of like the the island and then we got into like a small town And they were going on these like tiny little streets and then you go to it.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: I can another old
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: And there's locals, so you drive and past locals, they're looking at you.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, did you see people looking at us like, they're a word, these people are a word.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think they were looking at us also because we were filming.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: And we had these like super long sort of selfie sticks.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: But they were filming like a 360 view.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we were like getting all these angles and just kind of looked like a bunch of sticks just like popping out of these cars.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so if you don't know what that is, like everybody's gonna be looking at you.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: You should have seen the hell you're like that was the first time I think I seen because at some point Yes, this is not like our daily activity like this.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean you have to be the character Yes, so then all you just became this new character and she started to like film in different angles She's never had she's like reaching like yeah, I mean it was also the camera We were using was like different and new so I was like playing around with the camera But then I was like hanging out at the car.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: I love the parts where you were yelling out of nowhere
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just kind of felt like you had to, you know, it's so fun.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: And we stopped at like a cave, we stopped at a salt flats, which is like these sort of, it looked like out of this world.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like we weren't on planet Earth anymore.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a white sort of like clay, like rocky thing.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was all these segmented bed that were filled with sea water that are like, going to leave like salt, you know, from the water.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: As the water evaporates and then it was like all white with these little crater things and then it would just be a straight drop down to the ocean And it was just open.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they kind of like reminded me of interstellar and like I don't know something about it Just felt very Mars or like not Earth So that was really cool and stuff like that that I feel like even when I went to my York or something I wish we would have done
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: This probably is so many.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I'm sure, like we did very much like the touristy things and I love those and I want to do those but I also want to incorporate more of this stuff as well.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was definitely the most fun of had activity wise this year.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it was great.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to like keep going and I didn't want to go home.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to just keep driving because it's just different, like driving in that versus like driving with a regular car.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: Because the regular car is like the, it's bigger.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: You have shit with you.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like this one is like bare bones.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's no window.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's no window.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're just hanging out the window, like it's awesome.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: It was interesting how they drive on the left side and the steering wheel is also on the left side.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: At least, at least not at all.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Some cars were flipped too and normal, but you're still driving on the left side of the road.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then that night, which was like, watch the sunset.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: But when we first got there, to the cars, oh my god.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, all right, everybody driver's license, I'm like, nobody told us to bring driver's license.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah happened to have it but I was just like nobody told us like now we're not going to be able to get on the cars And this is actually like the craziness with the kayaks so we already like oh my god here we go again Yeah, but and that day we got we got back to the hotel we had some dinner No, we watched the sunset
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: That was the same thing.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we went to this where Mark jumped off that cliff into that water and he got that crazy shot.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, some people as the second activity, they went free diving.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: So they were filming underwater and getting a bunch of shots with these cameras and they were like diving, like holding their breath.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: So it wasn't, they didn't have like oxygen or anything and they would be swimming like through these tunnels under the water and then like getting on the other side.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: Some shit that I wouldn't do.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, you, you, no, you have to know like to do that.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_01]: You have to know how to equalize the pressure in your head when you are like going down deep.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because like the pressure changes once you get like a certain amount of feet.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: So what do you want to equalize?
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: You have to like push the the the the same way that you pop your ears like in an airplane, but you have to do that in the water.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so then because the pressure is like hurts your head after like a certain depth.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so you have to not do that and like it was dark to so yeah, I don't know.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's dark.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's very blue.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's dark.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: And like what happens if you're like in the middle of the tunnel and you're like, I need to I need to air.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: You just go.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you're, there's a rock around you, you're in the water, but like in the rock tunnel in the water.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you've got to know flashlight.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you got to know like you're going to hold it.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and swim and like this is thing like I just panic in the water.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like if I'm in the water and I already start feeling like a chest tightness, I got to go up.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know it's crazy.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's so uncomfortable.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: Only thing that we need is just air.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: When you don't have air, nothing matters.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: When you're under water, you just want air.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about anything.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about my camera.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we were just, well, some people were doing that.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: We were just watching the sunset.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: Amazing sunset.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: Beautiful sunset, oh my god.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we were just like getting content filming with these cameras, you know, taking photos.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: So it was like a really nice, like chill ending to the day.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was great.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then the next day was horse riding day.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this could be another full episode.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is kind of like the last activity.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, last activity we're going to talk about the horse riding, right?
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've never been on the horse, never thought I would get on the horse.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_00]: He was always just something out with Cion, Instagram, and be like, oh, wow, there's not the cool people like they do that shit, right?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, it was a choice between horse riding or like jet skiing, banana bow.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: And we were kind of like, I'm good without the water.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: So we chose horse riding, especially because like, when do you get to go on a horse?
- 49:54[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: On your regular day to day, you know, like I feel like going on a jet skis much more accessible accessible.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah So we get on the horse the horses were tall.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: I've never I've only been on a horse when I was little so it doesn't even count to be honest.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I had the tallest horse, maybe because I was the tallest, probably, but my horse, I was just actually editing that part of my video.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I get on the horse, he tells me how to get on it, I get on it, he fixes my feet and all that, and then he just leaves.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: So you didn't really tell y'all need like he didn't tell me.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: So if you turn right, pull on the right, if the horse is like doing something like pulled both bags and nothing, nothing.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was just there waiting for everybody to get strapped up or whatever, right?
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: All day it was two horses down from me.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody was kind of like in the line, right?
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's just crazy because once you're on the horse, you're so far off the ground and like the horse is a moving animal.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: So like your, yeah, it's so strong and like,
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: My horse even before we started moving he would like twitch all of a sudden like randomly and I would just see all the muscle move I'm like you like the veins.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm like oh this thing.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is just me 0% body fat.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 0% body fat
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we started out, we have like the people coming with us with the horses, like we're not just by ourselves, you know.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: And two people in the group, like the, that were on the horse from our group, they had been on horses many times before, so they were just a lot more comfortable.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was a couple of us, including Yoni and I, that weren't as comfortable being on the horses.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is our first time.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't comfortable at all.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean it was true like when we were in when we were like walking to the like the area We were gonna walk with the horses.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was chill.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: Let me say this.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't comfortable at all But I was on it and I was really just like overcoming this fear that I had so in the moment I'm talking to myself.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: Your name is true.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_00]: You're so horse.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_00]: This is a thing that they do here people come the right of horses Come back
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: So nothing is going to happen.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're good, but even though the whole time you can see it on the video, I was just like, any time the horse moves a little on my own.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is anybody seen this?
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: Anybody seen this?
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: And my horse for some reason always wanted to do his own thing.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, my horse's name was Apparol, like Apparol Spritz.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: Great name.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I was like, let me try to bond with the horse, right?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, okay, because I wanted to figure out what his name was, so maybe I can like, okay, okay, I put it all like, let's just you know another accent, okay, up at all.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but let's just relax, okay?
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, me and Apologize waiting and then he starts to like move and turn a little bit, but then around that time it was time to go anyway, so we all kind of follow the leader, right?
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: The black horse was the leader
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then we make it work like walking on the road to then go to like the pasture area where then we're like taking some rounds around there.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: We get close to like the edge of the water so you can see like a nice view.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but before that, before we even got out of the house, the horses were in.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the stable.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: My horse, everybody goes to the left, my horse stays on the right side, or left side, and he starts drinking water.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't see that, it's like you were behind your, or ahead of me.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's drinking.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm now up.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: You want to drink water?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: The she's drinking, take it time.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm talking to the horse like that.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_00]: Just to try to like, let him know that I'm just chill.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just a chill guy.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: So he's drinking and I'm like, okay, I think that's that's that's enough.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's leaving and then I'm looking at it at the instructor I'm like can you help me because he didn't never told me how to turn.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say I had to use my comments Since I'm just like okay, I'm just gonna pull on on the right a little bit.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm pulling his head Yeah, with the thing I'm just like them.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna get mad at me
- 53:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so I pulled the heat turn then he thought we started to follow the rest and then as I I'll just say we'll walk in on the side of the road first we'll just talk on on a what is it called like a on the street Is it a road street?
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course But it wasn't a dirt road.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was like with the asphalt.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it was very satisfying to hear the
- 54:07[SPEAKER_00]: But not that fast.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not that fast.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_01]: We were just walking.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then we take some rounds.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting some content, all these things.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then we were with the media team who wanted to get like cooler shots, right?
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: So it wasn't like super cool effect that we were all just walking in a row, obviously, like in an align.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: So then they decided to
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: split the group.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: So the two guys that knew how to like ride horses more, you know, like properly and like be able to like run with the horses and stuff and they were comfortable with that stayed.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: And the rest of us made our wake sort of like around this hill.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_01]: So at the horses wouldn't see each other because we learned that these horses are very tight knit and in general you just don't separate the group, the way that we we did, but they wanted to get like the cool shot,
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: So we go around this hill and we're waiting.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing about horses is once they see one horse run, they kind of all want to start running.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: of dice, you know how scared I was when when I found that out.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: So the whole time we're all like on these horses praying that they're not going to just start running out of nowhere because like they're in animals like don't know whatever they want to do.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you're on the horse.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't care that you're on horse.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that you're on on his back like he'll run with you.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is too like we even have the um
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: What do you call, I don't know what you call in English, but the thing that we sit on on the horse, you know, like the leather seat that's on the back of the horse, we didn't have it though.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't have like a handle.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, there's some that have like an actual like handle with like a little bar.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't have that.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: You had to like hold onto the entire like saddle thing, you know, I've got your hands, but sometimes there's like an attached.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: That was just holding on to the horse.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're holding onto the, the, yeah, the leather straps thing.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: to the yihah.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're called.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: And basically, the horses are starting to feel a little fidgety.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're starting to call at each other because they're separated.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: So they're kind of like, whew, like, are you here?
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then the other one's like, whew, you're too.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: But it's loud, you know?
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: So we're all like, are we good?
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, should we get off the horses?
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's better to get off.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: You're just kind of like, not, you're not easy.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're uneasy the whole time that this horse is going to about to do something.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: And the annoying part was that they kept doing the shots because they had to keep getting the shots with the drone because they were filming with the drone.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: So they had to reset the shot, then get these people to do the running shot again.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're waving.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking at how, yeah, like let's take a look.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's taken too long.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: The whole time I was kind of like a little uncomfortable on my horse because I felt like... You could feel the horse was coming.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the horse wasn't comfortable, but then structures like they weren't that they didn't really pay attention to Apple all, you know, they were just kind of oh yeah, you're good, you know, and what ended up happening is one of the guys that was like getting the shot running he He joined our group
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because he was like I can tell that like the horse he had was like uneasy.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh really Yeah, so he was like I can tell that like the vibe is not right and he's like written horse it before So that's why he joined the group back and then we were on the horse kind of talking stuff like that and out of nowhere His horse like goes back like he lifts his two front legs and then the the guy that was on it like sort of like
- 57:37[SPEAKER_01]: gets off of the horse, but like he hits his toe on like the ground or something, and he kind of hurt himself, but not like too bad.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't follow the way.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then the instructors then like started taking that horse and like tying it to the horse that they were on.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so because you know what happened?
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: Not a good vibe.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: I know what happened to his horse.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: That was Christian, right?
- 58:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: the one of the ropes or one of the things Gus stuck on his front leg.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, he was like not paying attention and then the horse started eating.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: And like the leather straps like fell forward and then it got caught in the horse's feet or his mouth or something.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: So then he was like the horse was like caught in the straps and then he was like, get off me.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_01]: The sound effects.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it was just tension.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, we're on these horses.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hopefully, they don't feed all of each other's energy and like, start going crazy.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: And all the time I'm looking at Ali, like, I want to go.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: I want to go.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: I want to go.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: The longer we wait for them to get the shot, the more the closer we will get to something.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: happen.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: And eventually I think the other guy joined our group and then we're starting to like make our way, but I think your horse by that point kind of made his way on like off the beaten path.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like we were on his path and then he went like,
- 59:00[SPEAKER_00]: off the path like on the grass yeah and as I told you before my host is always wanted to do his own thing yeah I'm just like okay I paroles get back on the road but like he's not gonna listen to me he's not gonna be like okay yeah I just want to lie here so now you want to go eat something
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm, I'm, everybody's on one side and I'm facing the other side and my whole life is facing the wrong way and on the wrong side.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, cool.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's enough.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really trying to talk to him as if he could be mine.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the crazy thing was like the instructors weren't trying to do like helping you.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, oh, he's fine, you know.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_01]: And then we end up starting to like walk towards exiting this pasture and getting back on the road to go back to the the stables, right?
- 59:41[SPEAKER_01]: And Yoni's horse, like turns around, but he keeps walking like on the wrong.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: area, but like in the same directions like he's coming with us, but everyone is walking on like the dirt road and I'm walking along them, but like on the grass, almost like on the grass,
- 59:58[SPEAKER_00]: And there's these tall plants that kind of like made of it.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: It looked like a fence.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, with like rocks.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, okay, at least we're going to write direction, but we're not on the path that we're supposed to get.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm looking ahead, like how are we going to make it to the other side, eventually the horse is got to the road with everyone.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then now you're in the back, you're in the back of the group.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think we're awaiting for something else.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're waiting and then he, we were like, okay, like, let's keep going and then we turn.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we started like, sort of going.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then I just hear Yoni go, oh, oh, oh, and then I look back.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I just see Yoni's entire body fall off this horse and hit the ground and all this dust just going up everywhere.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a movie scene.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: It keeps saying like, dust to everybody that, but you actually saw that.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm like trying to paint the picture because like that's what I saw because it was everything was like, it was a dry like environment like the ground was like just like a yellow dust, you know, yeah, and I was so scared you know it was like you felt from pretty high up yeah, and I had my cameras around my neck and nothing even happened.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: We were just on the road I was behind everybody.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, okay cool.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just trying to keep it chill.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: But the whole time I'm like, I hope he's just going to be good.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_00]: And he just started to like shake me off basically.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then you were like, let me get off his horse.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: So then I was trying to like get off while he was trying to shake me off.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I don't know.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then like once he's felt me a little bit like on his right side, he almost kind of just like helped me get off.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: So he kind of just like pushed me off even more.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I felt pretty badly, but luckily, like, I'm okay, the cameras are okay.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_00]: I did hurt my elbow a little bit and yeah, but I had way more bruises that I knew like when I took a shower that evening, a lot more places in my body burned.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, because when you get a bruise or something, not a bruise, like a scratch or yeah, like a rug burned.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I felt on my leg, my thigh, my hip, I'm like, bam, I didn't even, you know, realize.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it was good that you felt actually in the perfect spot because as we kept walking further down that dirt road before even got to the street, there was like a bunch of big rocky boulders that were the same kind that we climbed that were just like lining the path that we were supposed to follow.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_01]: So like, if the horse decided to shake you off, like, I don't know, 10 feet or, like, whatever, how far, like a minute past where we were, you had a fallen on a rock, like a bayous rock.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: And that would have been bad.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_00]: That would have been bad and dangerous.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm, I'm grateful that was the perfect way to fall.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, even though I really didn't want to fall, but I just do it.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_00]: I had a feeling that, yeah, like I've got to do to you, Phil.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting my own source today, I'm a little nervous, and of course I'm the only one who actually fell.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't it crazy?
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: There was another guy on the group that he got off the horse like way earlier because he could feel like the horse ain't fucking with us.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, his horse was wild.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_00]: He might have had the horse.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_01]: His horse was the one that kept like calling at the other ones.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, yeah.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like constantly, I have to give you the start-up fix though because it's so memorable like you remember that But it was way this is like a chill car.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: It was more like nostril.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're like with a breath.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know Can't do it.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, can't do that one.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't do that.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_00]: I get um, so I get up, you know, someone was behind me.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_00]: He ran up to me.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was Jack guy.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: I got off his horse.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_01]: I've got his meal.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Chanel, Charlotte, Chanel, he ran.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was like, y'all, are you okay?
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_00]: The instructors didn't give a shit.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: For some reason, they were just like, they looked back.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he got me all right.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, I feel like they look back as if nothing even happened.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: And if nothing happened, I'm going to floor trying to like, I took my time to get up.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't want to get off my horse to go check on you only because I didn't want to fuck around my horse.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: My horse Ollie, he was a sweetheart.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_01]: He was good the whole time, listen.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm glad he was my horse that I was like that because I would have hated that.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want anything to happen to you.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want your horse to run.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: You can fall.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_00]: And then,
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I would have been okay if the horse ran like I would just really hold on.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_01]: It was I was just scared to like the horse would like go up or like down or something.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_01]: Because then you're like falling off the horse.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then the instructor, keep keep having the horse.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying instructor, he eventually he came and got the horse.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_00]: and I told him I said he was like okay you want to get back on the horse and I was like hell no so just walked back hell no and I just walked back with Chanel and yeah he was holding the horse and I was just walking but I didn't I didn't that was my first and last time when the horse you guys I would I definitely want to go on a horse again okay go ahead and like yeah right around like I would love to go a little faster it is fun yeah it is fun
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_00]: It is fun but like I think maybe fun if like you know what you're doing But not only that but it's it's fun when When um Overall it is fun but I wish I could have like maybe bonded with the horse a little bit more like let me feed him You know like I feel like he did the horse didn't even see what I look like
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I just got on a horse, he didn't even, he don't know who's on top of him.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, let's, let's just like chill for a little bit.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so anyways, we get back to the place.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_00]: Everything's good.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking shit, the whole time see, I knew it.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell me your horse is not that type of horse, but then look what happened, right?
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's why like at the end of the day, like he got his own brain.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_00]: And he could have ran if you wanted to.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, no.
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_01]: And that's kind of like the action-packed part of the stories.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: But everything was now looking back.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I did everything we did.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you look glad I didn't chicken out of anything.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, we definitely didn't check it out of everything.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_00]: It gave us a great podcast today.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we've been telling these stories that I know.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting because you have to go through these has experienced that in the moment are sort of uncomfortable and nerve-wracking.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_01]: And you might be like,
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: Even upset after like a specific story that happened.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was like, oh, like I didn't feel safe like that was so annoying or like that was so scary or whatever But then you have a story.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you have such a story.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you only have a story if like you're good after obviously so you still always have to be safe
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: but yeah it was it was a great trip was really fun getting to like meet everybody being in like that creator space where everybody's talking about like what they're into what they want to make what their plans are in life you know i really got inspired being around all these people who have you know these different platforms and just like
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're into their specific thing.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, talking about life, talking about their process, how do you feel?
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_00]: Seeing other people's dedication and behind like what they do made me want to step my shit up.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_00]: Because technically like,
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just now getting into a guest like I'm trying like I'm a photographer obviously you know that but I'm trying to make like Just getting more into the content creation, which for me is basically just YouTube.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but a lot of people had YouTube channels and they're making content for that So I was just asking questions.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was just like ready to learn from everyone because everyone there had more experience than me
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody had like such a different process and it was just interesting getting to talk about like the ends and outs of, you know, making content even like being on the trip getting to see how other people like set up their shot or how the people like film when there's other people around and we're talking about, I don't know, so it was like it was a really, really great experience and it was a good group of people.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and yeah, the only thing I would say is like we did, I wish that we had more of an experience like one day where we got to explore more of like the cities we did go to Valeta.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you say.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_02]: Valeta.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and it was really cool.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_01]: I was walking around, but it was, we got to go like the second half of the day.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it was kind of at sunset, which was very beautiful.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't enough time to really like dig deep into the city that gets us see.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_00]: Because you felt like Tom was running out.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like when I go to a new city, it's like I like to go to like maybe a coffee shop and like sit and people watch and just get a sense of the place.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_01]: And we didn't get to do that.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_01]: We only had like maybe three hours to see.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a good evening.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we stopped somewhere, we got food, right?
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we were out like a drink.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Terry, he linked up with us.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_00]: He was somewhere.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's also another creator that's great on YouTube, like a lot of reviews on,
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_00]: Camera gears and stuff like that.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say that's one of the guys that I really connected with on Twitter You know, so Terry for listening to this shout-out to you man, but it was it was good.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_01]: He joined us and And we're just chatting and that was the one moment that felt kind of like we were traveling.
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: you know, which is not because the rest was very like action, like activity, itinerary packed, which makes sense.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like this was definitely a work trip.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so it was nice getting to have that moment.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_01]: We were just like a smaller group and getting to just have the drink and it was really nice.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was so fun and I'm so glad I met everyone that's that's there.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I feel like it was, it was, well, the only thing that was kind of tough a little bit was the Wi-Fi and the hotel.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's why these episodes have been kind of late.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like you guys, I'm telling you, there was no.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_00]: The Wi-Fi was so, it wasn't strong enough for the files that we needed to upload.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_01]: Especially for the Patreon, which is why the Patreon didn't get posted for that entire week.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we tried, we used my entire hotspot and Yoni's entire hotspot.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_00]: We got to 90%.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was like, okay, now from 90%, we only need the hotel to give us 10%.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_00]: So it can't take that long, right?
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_00]: So we transferred the connection from my phone to the hospital to the hotel Wi-Fi and guess what?
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_01]: It goes back down to 2%.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_00]: it went back down to zero percent, y'all.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_00]: After that, I just closed the computer.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_00]: I said, it's done.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_00]: I send out a message, I said, you guys, we apologize, but Patreon will be late.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_00]: You'll still get it.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're not skipping it.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_00]: But it's just going to be late, because there's no way for it first to do it.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's a, that was a multi-trip.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_00]: I hope you enjoyed these stories.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like talking about it and editing the video right now.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I feel like I'm there again.
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it was great.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_01]: It was super fun, really enjoyed our trip.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And thank you to Insta360.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, it was, I mean, I got to shoot with the cameras for the first time, which is, which is, it's so fun.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is fun definitely so stay tuned for our videos following up to this because then you'll now it's like you know the stories So you get to see the sort of behind the scenes and like more you know like stylized and curated like
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Visual version of all the stories that we told.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, it's funny because like now you know the stories behind it But like in the video you can't you don't know all these details.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you don't know these things So where do you see the video that I was making and the photos and my video?
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got a lot of content coming, so thank you for tuning in to today's episode.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_01]: I hope it was, I know this was a fun one because when there's a lot of stories to tell, I think it's a great episode to listen to.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_00]: No, I feel like I would listen to it.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for the sixth time.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, send this to anybody who wants to go to Malta, send this to anybody who likes podcasting and you want to recommend a podcast.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is a great introduction to the style of, uh, what's the juice?
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what's the juice?
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, if you have any feedback, if you want to let us know anything, always remember you can comment on Spotify, leave a little thought over there, and then if you haven't checked out Patreon, you should.

- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can always get little previews of each episode if you want to only listen to one episode You can purchase that specific episode, but it would mean a lot to us if you check it out That's my diplomatic outroes No, I like that.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, and then next week we're gonna be back with another episode And that's how it goes.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: We're almost, are we almost at the end of this season?
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're getting close.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_00]: Are we?
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's good.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_01]: We're kind of far.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_01]: What's the coming episodes we have season 50?
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we have 50.
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've got a change set.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_00]: We can't change it.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, we've got a change set.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_00]: We can't change it.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_00]: We can't change it.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_00]: We can't change it.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I think we're going to change our ones.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_01]: We have a baby.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter, like let's just keep it like that, you know, it's like 50, 50, 50.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's insane.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: Most people don't do that.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like most podcasts have like 30 episodes of season or something.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_00]: But no, no, maybe 20.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, 20 is like not.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, 20.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_00]: But 50 is like, I don't know.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I feel like... 50's like, you just don't have time while forever.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_01]: You're like two weeks off when a year.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well we'll figure it out though, but I like 50 because take where they we're gonna keep grinding and thank you guys for being here You know, that's it.

- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, bye guys Chat later.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_00]: Why did you grow like this?
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's so bad.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_02]: Let's remember the same.
