Transcript
- 0:00I'm going to try to hit lights, camera, action at seven going forward.
- 0:04It might not be too pretty, but I don't care. I really don't care.
- 0:09All right. We have a lot of stuff to talk about today.
- 0:13My name is Brandon Fogel. This is Evolution. We're going to be talking about Doge.
- 0:18We're going to be talking about Social Security, the most fun things in the world.
- 0:22It actually does matter a lot to a lot of people, Social Security,
- 0:26and I totally agree. But, and also, what about some time travel?
- 0:31Are you ready for some time travel on a Friday?
- 0:34Are you ready? Because I wanted to bring this up. Do you feel like you were
- 0:39meant for another time in history, another time period?
- 0:43Do you ever feel out of place? Like, why was I born in this specific time in
- 0:48history? I just, I don't feel it.
- 0:50And sometimes I get that way.
- 0:52And I'm like, lately I've been like, I wish I was born when there was no internet,
- 0:57when there was, I wasn't even aware of all this kind of stuff because I I'm addicted to it.
- 1:03I'm utterly addicted to the internet.
- 1:07I'm utterly addicted to electronics and technology. And I'm like,
- 1:10I wish I was born before I knew all of this stuff existed.
- 1:14Cause a lot of things, it just feels weird to me. I don't know if you ever feel like that.
- 1:17Probably not like that. Maybe that seems kind of an odd thing.
- 1:22And if you feel like, that's weird, man. That's weird.
- 1:26Why would you even think that? But you personally, do you ever feel like you
- 1:30were meant for a different time?
- 1:31Like, do you ever feel like you wish you could go back in time when there was,
- 1:35when you were cowboys and Indians and all that kind of stuff?
- 1:38You know, Indians, you've got to be careful about that. Don't want to say anything
- 1:41politically incorrect.
- 1:42All right. But before we dive into the whole time travel and finding a different
- 1:47time period in history that you think that you should have been born in,
- 1:51let's actually switch gears.
- 1:52Let's talk about Doge and what Elon has uncovered. It is wild,
- 1:59absolutely wild what they're finding daily.
- 2:01I put a link in the description of the video I'm going to show,
- 2:04as well as the YouTube channel, Fox News, shout out Fox News.
- 2:09And I've put a link in the description to doge.gov. It's pretty easy to find,
- 2:14you know, doge.gov, D-O-G-E.gov.
- 2:17It's a government website.
- 2:19I put that in the description. You can go to it directly. You don't even have
- 2:21to type it in, you just click the link, but daily they are putting out there
- 2:26things that the government waste, fraud, and abuse that is being uncovered.
- 2:30And right now it's not real time. They said in about a couple of weeks,
- 2:34it will be instantly real time. What is happening?
- 2:37And I wanted to start off before we jump into the social security,
- 2:41I wanted to talk about the whole, they found mines, mines.
- 2:48Caves, caves underneath the earth, how the government was running things.
- 2:53They are not on the 21st century electronic digital age that everyone else is a part of.
- 2:59They are still doing filing cabinets, paper copies.
- 3:02And that's why everything is bureaucracy, red tape galore.
- 3:07And it takes a year for somebody to do something as simple as retire,
- 3:12as well as everything else.
- 3:14So Elon and his team, and he's, he's assembled a team of CEOs.
- 3:20Like the top guys, the guys that know
- 3:22how to run things, know how things efficiently get done. He is rolling.
- 3:27He's got the best guys in the house that are doing this.
- 3:30And so yesterday there was a sit down with Brett Baer and Fox News,
- 3:34Elon and his guys, the guys that are running Doge, what they're uncovering.
- 3:37And it's just crazy. You can see the whole video and my link,
- 3:41but we're going to take a short look at when they spoke about social security
- 3:47and 40% waste has been uncovered daily by the 40% fraudsters calling in and
- 3:56trying to get social security,
- 3:57which is actually stealing money from the people that legitimately deserve it.
- 4:03So he's saying he's going to find more social security money,
- 4:07benefits, It's all that kind of jazz for everyone that legitimately deserves it.
- 4:13But we're going to take a look at a quick clip of Elon speaking about this.
- 4:17Yes, and they steal people's social security is what happens.
- 4:20They call in, they say they claim to be a retiree, and they convince the social
- 4:27security person on the phone to change where the money's flowing.
- 4:31It actually goes to some fraudster.
- 4:33This is happening all day, every day. And then somebody doesn't receive their social security.
- 4:38It's because of all the fraud loopholes in the social security system.
- 4:42How do you reassure people that what you all are doing is not going to affect their benefits?
- 4:48No, in fact, what we're doing will help their benefits.
- 4:52Legitimate people, as a result of the work of Doge, will receive more social security, not less.
- 4:57I want to emphasize that. as a result of the work of Doge, legitimate recipients
- 5:02of Social Security will receive more money, not less money.
- 5:06All right. I want to emphasize that point and let the record show that I said
- 5:11this and it will be proven out to be true.
- 5:14All right, there it is. And he is on the record, putting yourself on the record.
- 5:18I mean, the eye in the sky don't lie. I don't know if you're a football fanatic.
- 5:24You understand that terminology, that the eye in the sky film.
- 5:27You got to sit down and you got to study film.
- 5:29When something is recorded, you know, like a lot of the stupid things that I
- 5:32probably said that been recorded, it's going to go back in my face if I look
- 5:36like a fool years from now.
- 5:38And I, you know, we can't discount that. It's possible. It's possible.
- 5:42But Elon has put himself on the record that.
- 5:45Months down the road, year, can we look back and say, Elon, you were just blowing
- 5:50smoke or you really are finding all this waste, fraud, and abuse.
- 5:55And it's going to bring more money to social security because you're eliminating
- 5:59all these fraudsters and this 40%, just crazy numbers.
- 6:03They say they like, they stumble upon a billion dollar waste,
- 6:06like every moment. It's easy just to stumble in and just see a billion dollars
- 6:11being wasted here, there, and all this.
- 6:13And real time in a couple of weeks, but you can see what they've uncovered so
- 6:19far right now at that link, doge.gov.
- 6:22I'm going to switch it to that just so you can see that as well.
- 6:25See it on the screen, find button.
- 6:27Okay. This is the actual website itself, doge.gov. It looks like Twitter.
- 6:33It kind of looks like Twitter to be honest, but it's, it's efficient.
- 6:37And just hearing these guys talk, these CEOs, they're saying the government
- 6:41doesn't need to be working like they're in the stone age, but they can be working
- 6:46efficiently like an Apple store.
- 6:48Like we can be open and honest that Apple is the best, the best device out there.
- 6:54I would say, I argue it's just simple, easy.
- 6:58You know, you just, it's just like, Oh, just slide it over here,
- 7:01slide it over there. You can move and navigate everywhere quickly.
- 7:03It's simple, easy, easy to use.
- 7:06And he's saying, they're saying that we can get our government running this way,
- 7:10that everything goes a lot smoother a lot just
- 7:13wasted time all that kind of junk jazz you know
- 7:16a lot of things getting cleaned up and it's really cool so you can see this
- 7:19daily what they're finding what they're uncovering what they're wasting and
- 7:24just it's oh it's transparency transparency we don't need these bureaucrats
- 7:29bureaucrats these bureaucrats and politicians just doing things that are in the dark.
- 7:36Doing things that benefit their bank accounts, doing these things that are underneath
- 7:41the covers and all this jazz and junk.
- 7:43But we can see them doing things that are out in the open.
- 7:47What is happening? And this is what this government, the new administration
- 7:52is implementing. It's just pretty cool stuff.
- 7:54I'm really pumped up about it. But there it is. I hadn't went to this website till this morning.
- 8:00Elon said it's out there. Easy to remember, doge.gov. And you can check it out.
- 8:04It's going to be real time in a couple of weeks, as I've said.
- 8:07So they are finding 40% just waste, just fraudsters calling in and trying to
- 8:12just steamroll and get money from themselves.
- 8:16And just, you know, is it, is it fraud?
- 8:20Is it just waste? Is it just ineptitude? Whatever it is, it doesn't really matter.
- 8:24You know, we can understand that let's get on board and agree that let's try
- 8:28to make it as efficient as possible.
- 8:30Let's try to eliminate the waste because then our government can run smoother and better.
- 8:35And we don't need to just waste time, energy, and money on things that are going
- 8:40to people that are scamming the system.
- 8:43You know, we don't need things that are just going, let's just clean house.
- 8:46And that's what the Doge team is doing.
- 8:49All right. So I want, I'm going to switch gears a little bit back to time travel.
- 8:52We're time traveling, everyone.
- 8:54Here we go. Here we go. All right. Time travel. Let's, let's begin here.
- 8:57So I'm just thinking for you, where would you want to go in history?
- 9:02And where would, like, if you could go to a certain century in history,
- 9:05and I guess we really started counting the years since Christ,
- 9:09we, time began and time, like the pinnacle in history with Jesus,
- 9:14you know, 2000 years ago, that's the calendar.
- 9:16That's the calendar, calendar, ladies and gentlemen, that we all have.
- 9:20So would you want to go? So let's just start there. Let's start there.
- 9:24BC, would you want to go BC before Christ? Would you want to go after Christ?
- 9:28Would you want to, like, because I immediately jumped to, I want to go where there's no internet.
- 9:32I want to go where there's, like, I would feel like I'm not instantly bombarded
- 9:36with notification and instant access to anything, like to me and then me to everyone else.
- 9:41I want to wait a week till I hear the news cycle.
- 9:45So I'm thinking for me, if I had to think about this, and I want you to think
- 9:49about it as well, where would you want to go?
- 9:50Would you want to go to maybe 1000 BC, 2000 BC, the first century,
- 9:57you know, it's pretty looking pretty good at that time.
- 10:01I immediately think I would like to go the 19th century, the 19th century.
- 10:08That's, that's where I immediately go with, you know, like we're getting a little industrial.
- 10:12The American situation has been put in place, you know, maybe avoid the Civil
- 10:17War. I don't really want to go be there, but I mean, you know,
- 10:21that's what happens. You got to do what you got to do.
- 10:24So, I mean, I might go back maybe a little bit further, maybe around 18...
- 10:301820, 1830, around that time period, just everything cooled down.
- 10:35I can just relax, be on my farm, raise some cattle, raise some kids,
- 10:40and just have a life that is peaceful and tranquil.
- 10:45Oh, I mean, all right, let me jump back a little bit. I might want to go back,
- 10:48and I want you to think about this.
- 10:49Where would you want to go in history? Say you could pick one,
- 10:52you know, maybe give your top five, maybe your top three, and then settle on
- 10:57that one, You know, because I want us to really think about this because we're
- 11:00like, we never really think, why was I born now?
- 11:04Why am I here now?
- 11:06And just, we, we, I think we don't reflect as much.
- 11:10We, a lot of times we don't sit back and think all this stuff that is,
- 11:14we are just thrown into and this crazy world. We don't have time to reflect.
- 11:19We're just hum-dum rigmarole going through each day and we don't take a second
- 11:24thing, moment just to think about why am I here? Why was I born at this time?
- 11:30We didn't decide when we were going to come into this world,
- 11:33but is there any opportunity for time travel?
- 11:36Because that's always interesting to me because we're always talking about that.
- 11:39Will in the future, will there be some time travel happening?
- 11:43I don't know what you all think, what you think about that. Do you think that
- 11:45there will be some time travel?
- 11:47Cause I, I mean, I, I wouldn't hate it.
- 11:50I wouldn't hate it, but like how, like I need to get into a scientific mind
- 11:54and maybe this team right here, this team of Elon gurus, they were able to maybe
- 12:00put something together that gets some type of time machine that we can figure this out.
- 12:05But I immediately go to the, like the, the night, I always get it confused.
- 12:09The 19th century means 1800s, 1800s, because it seems always backwards to me.
- 12:14Like, I always thought the 20th century would mean like, seem like the 2000s, but it means the 1900s.
- 12:21It's always kind of weird, you know, I know that sounds stupid to a lot of people.
- 12:26I don't know if you have ever felt that way about it, but in what time and period
- 12:31in history would you want to go?
- 12:32Would you want to go back to when Jesus was here? that first century,
- 12:37when the clock started, you know, there were a lot of calendars throughout history.
- 12:41There's been a lot of calendars, but I think we've consolidated it.
- 12:44And we've understood that before Christ and AD, Anno Domini.
- 12:50That means like the year of the Lord, Jesus, that is when history started. And it makes sense.
- 12:56Now we're just, now we're 2000 years from that time period.
- 12:59How much longer are we going to go? How much longer are we going to go?
- 13:02So maybe my, I'm going off the top of my head.
- 13:06Like I said, I already would like to go to the 1800s, but I wouldn't hate going
- 13:09back to the first century, seeing how the first church and early Christians
- 13:15started, how that all came together, what is actually happening.
- 13:19I want to be able to YouTube it. I want to be able to take some film and record,
- 13:24but it's a double-edged sword. I can't record it.
- 13:27If I'm back in that time period, I don't even know about all this technology.
- 13:30So I want to absorb, I think I want to get more in touch with earth,
- 13:36more in touch with just reality and not this figment of internet,
- 13:40just craziness that is out there.
- 13:43It's all just, it's just so weird that life is like this, that we are sitting
- 13:48at a time in history where we can turn on and we can see what's happening in
- 13:52our friend's life across the world.
- 13:55Everything, it was not always like this. And I almost, I kind of wish that I was not here for this.
- 14:02All right. So now I hope you've had time to think about it. What time and period
- 14:05in history would you have liked to have been born? Would you have liked to experience?
- 14:09I would probably settle on the 1800s. You know, I'd still, it would be a little
- 14:14bit of time. It'd be time that we know that Jesus has come.
- 14:17I'd have a Bible. I'd still be able to have something like that.
- 14:21I'd be able to just sit on my farm, raise some chickens and just,
- 14:26you know, build a log cabin and just sit back, relax, be, just go out in the
- 14:31fields, walk around and not have a phone.
- 14:33I, you know, not have a phone, you know, and not even know about a phone,
- 14:38not even know about a phone, you know, not even know about all this stuff.
- 14:41You know, I kind of, I wish I was removed. And I think some people like to do
- 14:44this. They like to get off the grid.
- 14:46People, people get off the grid
- 14:48sometimes to get, get away from all this craziness that we all experience.
- 14:53And we're just drenched in and we just, now it's just the way of life.
- 14:57It's just the way of life.
- 14:58So I would like to get back there and I hope you've settled.
- 15:01Where would you like to land?
- 15:03Anytime in history, you have a time machine that the Doge team has created a time machine.
- 15:08What time in history are you going to? I'm going to the 1800s. That's where I land.
- 15:121800s, probably 1820, 1825 to be exact.
- 15:171825 to be exact. And I got a farm, you know, I'm still exploring the United
- 15:23States. I'm traveling about.
- 15:25I'm going up the Missouri River you know
- 15:28you know that would not have been it would have been scary but it
- 15:31would not like it wouldn't be like it would be scary and then someone took a
- 15:35video of me just freaking out getting beat getting bit by a badger and they
- 15:38posted on the internet there's none of that you know I might get bit by a badger
- 15:41I might get eaten by a bear but no one knows about it no one knows about it
- 15:45I'm just out in the west exploring the west you know maybe maybe I got my pistol,
- 15:51Maybe I'm, you know, just expanding my territory, expanding my property,
- 15:56you know, the pursuit of land.
- 15:58I'm pursuing land and trying to build up my acreage and all that and just having
- 16:03fun with it, having a good time. That's where I land.
- 16:05All right. So I did want to, so I hope you have had time to think about that,
- 16:09where you would like to land.
- 16:11But I want to also talk about, and I hadn't pulled this up, but I'm going to
- 16:15pull it up right now. I know the chapter, I know the verse.
- 16:17I'm going to go to it and we'll find out. We'll find out. Acts 17.
- 16:23This is Paul, the apostle. This is the first century. This is happening.
- 16:28You know, we don't have footage. We don't have film role of him standing in
- 16:31front of the Areopagus, in front of all these guys in togas.
- 16:35They're just guys in togas talking about philosophy, trying to find out the
- 16:39newest thing. And Paul, this weird guy, he's a weird guy.
- 16:43He just looks odd. We don't really trust him. We don't know anything about him,
- 16:46but he stands up in front of us, and he starts telling us these things,
- 16:50and he starts preaching to us about this God, and he calls it the unknown God.
- 16:56He uses it as one of his, as something they can relate to, because they got a pantheon.
- 17:02They're worshiping everything. They're worshiping the ground, the sky, the sun.
- 17:06They got a God for everything, and Paul even sees in their, when he's walking
- 17:11throughout their, just their city or whatever, you know, he sees this statue
- 17:14that says, to the unknown God. We got to cover all our bases.
- 17:18These Greeks had to cover all their bases. They don't want to take a chance
- 17:22that they are not worshiping some deity that is out there.
- 17:25And he starts talking to them about this unknown God, but he infuses it into
- 17:31it, the God of Israel and Jesus.
- 17:35And he says, this God that you worship as unknown, I'm going to declare them to you.
- 17:41It's this God, Jesus that came into this world and was raised from the dead.
- 17:48And when everybody hears about the resurrection, they start laughing.
- 17:52They start laughing. But I want to find the passage where it talks about,
- 17:57okay, this is Acts chapter 17, verses 24, and I want to specifically just touch
- 18:02on and end with, we're in 20...
- 18:0526 and 27. It says, this is Acts 17, 24.
- 18:09The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth,
- 18:13does not live in temples made by man,
- 18:16nor is he served by human hands as though he needed anything,
- 18:20since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
- 18:25And he made from one man, every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth,
- 18:31having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
- 18:36that they should seek God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him.
- 18:42Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.
- 18:45In him we live and move and have our being, as even some of your own poets have
- 18:52said, for we are indeed his offspring.
- 18:55So it's not by accident that you were born in this period in time.
- 19:00This is not by accident. I was born in this period in time when there is internet,
- 19:05where there is technology and all this stuff, electronics, you know,
- 19:07it's, it's great in a way, but when it fails, it doesn't.
- 19:10And sometimes it just makes me so just tethered to it.
- 19:13And I just, I, I live and breathe it, you know, and, but you were meant for
- 19:17this time, this time period, you were meant to be born in this century,
- 19:21whatever, or last century.
- 19:22And now you're in this century, you know, you were meant to be born here.
- 19:25And it was not by accident, but it was by purpose.
- 19:29God put you right here where you're at. Whatever ecosystem you find yourself
- 19:35in, whatever group entourage that you have around you,
- 19:39whatever influence you have, God has put you right where you are at for a purpose,
- 19:43a reason. It's not by accident.
- 19:46Don't let anyone out there lie to you and don't believe the lies, but you have purpose.
- 19:52You have meaning while you're here.
- 19:55So just make the most of it. And it says we are put here so that we would reach
- 20:00out to him, though God is not far from any one of us.
- 20:04Right now, listen to this, you're in a car, you're driving to work,
- 20:08you're at home making some pancakes.
- 20:11God is right there with you, right there with you. And he's right there with all of us.
- 20:16So I'll leave it there. So keep evolving to the best version of you.
