- 0:50Speaker 2: I have tour them? Or are you doing no? Okay,
- 0:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna raw dog it.
- 0:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I just like the sound of my own voice. I
- 0:58Speaker 1: know it is nice, even though my voice is terrible.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Sounds like a wood wind instrument. I think so.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I think we talk a little bit.
- 1:07Speaker 1: This is my voice. The sound of my voice. It's
- 1:09Speaker 1: kind of like the pitch is wrong if I could
- 1:12Speaker 1: kind of pitch a.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Little something off with it.
- 1:15Speaker 1: But it's not bad.
- 1:16Speaker 2: To listen to.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I sound like a little kid playing detective. Someone told
- 1:21Speaker 1: me that one time.
- 1:22Speaker 2: That's pretty good. What does your voice sound like me? Yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 2: you have a good You have like a cartoon voice.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You have a pixar.
- 1:35Speaker 1: He used to do a thing where he would ask
- 1:37Speaker 1: everything like a question, or he would say everything like
- 1:39Speaker 1: a question, but.
- 1:41Speaker 5: He doesn't do it. Anything broke out of it. It
- 1:43Speaker 5: became like a thing where I would like, hear yourself
- 1:46Speaker 5: doing here myself doing it, and be like, I hate myself.
- 1:49Speaker 5: It actually wasn't even like that. It was like I
- 1:50Speaker 5: would hang with my friends from home. That's where I
- 1:52Speaker 5: got it from. Where are you from Massachusetts? It's not
- 1:54Speaker 5: a Massachusetts thing at all. It's just like one of
- 1:57Speaker 5: my friends did it throughout all of high school, and
- 2:00Speaker 5: then we all picked up on it. Yeah, and then
- 2:02Speaker 5: I like her. I like hung out with him and
- 2:04Speaker 5: we were probably in like Nashville for the first time
- 2:06Speaker 5: in a while, and I heard him doing it, and
- 2:07Speaker 5: I was like, dude, this is like really annoying.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And so because I think it was based in his
- 2:12Speaker 1: own insecurity, because he would be like, I didn't want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to say things definiting.
- 2:15Speaker 5: He was ruining jokes too. I would get like excited
- 2:19Speaker 5: to tell a joke and then I would like my
- 2:20Speaker 5: voice would start getting higher and higher.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I think that is like I feel like a lot
- 2:25Speaker 2: of like alternative comics adapted that style of speaking as well.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I remember like back in the day doing
- 2:32Speaker 2: open mics and there was like a trend of people
- 2:35Speaker 2: doing the like high pitch at the end. It's almost
- 2:38Speaker 2: like and this is where the joke goes.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah, there was this dude that.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I am laughing if I don't say like this.
- 2:47Speaker 5: There was this kid Remember that time when that kid
- 2:49Speaker 5: that that we saw do the open mic a couple
- 2:52Speaker 5: of times.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, and he was like the Sunfeld voice.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Yeah, he would start off, but then he'd be like
- 2:56Speaker 5: at the end, he'd be like like like it's so
- 3:00Speaker 5: high pitched. But he was very funny. Actually, wonder what
- 3:02Speaker 5: he's up to now?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Are there hacks? Yeah, he's a bad man. Are there
- 3:07Speaker 1: hacks to how you can say just say things that,
- 3:10Speaker 1: like I feel like I've seen like comic hacks of
- 3:13Speaker 1: like you just say a joke a certain way. There's
- 3:15Speaker 1: just like certain ways that you can like say the
- 3:17Speaker 1: punchline or just like little like tags you can throw
- 3:20Speaker 1: on and be like so there's that, Like.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Just like that. That's actually one thing that pisses me
- 3:26Speaker 5: off because you see people do it and like it's
- 3:28Speaker 5: it's stomping on their own jokes. Yeah, like when instantly
- 3:31Speaker 5: the punchline hits and they're like, okay, anyway, it's like, dude,
- 3:35Speaker 5: like you didn't even.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, like telling the most foul story so
- 3:41Speaker 2: single of course you are you a loser?
- 3:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 5: It's it's a big thing that people do. Though. When
- 3:50Speaker 5: I was in Atlanta, someone I saw it was doing
- 3:52Speaker 5: that and it was like the jokes were funny, but
- 3:55Speaker 5: it was like they would just end the joke and
- 3:56Speaker 5: every single time they just go anyway, and it's like, dude,
- 3:59Speaker 5: you're killing your own joke.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Something that's happening a lot now that I feel like
- 4:03Speaker 2: I'm guilty of. I'll notice it and I'll be like,
- 4:05Speaker 2: fucking stupid bitch. Is a lot of people say, you know, now,
- 4:10Speaker 2: like whether it's even like just regular people in conversation
- 4:13Speaker 2: or whatever, but a lot of time on stage, a
- 4:15Speaker 2: lot of people will say, you know, I'm you know, and.
- 4:19Speaker 5: I've been doing that, and I've been trying to stall myself.
- 4:21Speaker 5: I've been going, I go, I don't know after every
- 4:23Speaker 5: single job, Yeah I don't know, and then yeah, and
- 4:27Speaker 5: then I'm like, dude, this is making me sound like
- 4:28Speaker 5: I like don't think any of this is like working.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and like the whole point of comedy is like
- 4:33Speaker 2: the illusion of confidence.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, just breaking that down, you're like, I actually don't
- 4:37Speaker 2: know anything.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Someone like after one of my shows they were like, dude,
- 4:40Speaker 5: like this joke is really funny, Like I wish you
- 4:42Speaker 5: didn't say I don't know after.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Oh wow, even the audience caught on.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Is that how it came?
- 4:50Speaker 2: There's uh uh fuck? Was I gonna say? What? Were
- 4:57Speaker 2: we just talking about?
- 4:59Speaker 1: Confidence?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Confidence? Yeah?
- 5:02Speaker 5: LA comedy like imagine it's a lot of confidence right people.
- 5:05Speaker 5: From what I've heard, people get real physical on stage
- 5:07Speaker 5: in LA. Yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there's definitely a lot of I feel like in
- 5:11Speaker 2: LA there's a lot more like style performance to it.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Do you notice how like the big difference between that,
- 5:16Speaker 5: Like in New York, there's a lot of people that
- 5:18Speaker 5: are like they play this character where they like hate
- 5:21Speaker 5: They're like they're like, I don't even want to be
- 5:23Speaker 5: doing this, so fucking stupid and so too like like
- 5:26Speaker 5: lag up against the wall, like.
- 5:29Speaker 2: The cool guy commics.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like, dude, like you've been doing that. You
- 5:32Speaker 5: do this every single night like five times, and now
- 5:34Speaker 5: you want to be doing this. Yeah, why are you
- 5:37Speaker 5: pretending that you're like in pain on stage?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a weird kink of there. Yeah, I
- 5:41Speaker 2: don't even want to do this.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yeah, but.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It can't stop. Yeah. No, there's definitely like the cool
- 5:49Speaker 2: guy comics in lare like, oh you guys didn't like that? Yeah, whatever,
- 5:53Speaker 2: I don't need this. Yeah, Like a lot of there's
- 5:55Speaker 2: so many, Like it's so crazy because before I started
- 5:58Speaker 2: doing comedy, I would go to all these shows and
- 6:00Speaker 2: it was all U. It was also like magical to me.
- 6:04Speaker 2: But now that I see so much comedy and I'm
- 6:07Speaker 2: like in it, you can just kind of like see
- 6:09Speaker 2: behind the curtain of Like there's just so many like
- 6:12Speaker 2: lines that are so common, like people doing the well
- 6:16Speaker 2: I already got paid to do the show. So I
- 6:18Speaker 2: don't care if you guys like me or not.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's so dumb.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like you care.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Yeah, well so why like that would be like such
- 6:24Speaker 5: a mean thing to say to the crowd. Yeah, you
- 6:26Speaker 5: guys already paid me.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Already in my pocket a defense man.
- 6:29Speaker 5: You guys laugh, Yeah, start the show.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So let's start the show.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Are we recording?
- 6:35Speaker 5: I think that was Is that for Patreon?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Or we wanted to do a Patreon but they won't
- 6:41Speaker 1: let us. We got to give all our money to
- 6:43Speaker 1: our daddy's a barstool. We're like little little street workers
- 6:46Speaker 1: out here.
- 6:46Speaker 2: We got never mind I was gonna make such a
- 6:49Speaker 2: dumb joke. Doesn't say don't call her daddy, but.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That plays any even small reference to call her daddy.
- 6:56Speaker 1: They'll like clip it and use it on our main Instagram.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Still they back, Yeah, desperate to get any clicks even
- 7:01Speaker 1: off the words call her daddy. Put together, it's so funny.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Yeah, we're big call her daddy fans.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Yeah we love that, yeah, both of them, And it's
- 7:08Speaker 1: purest form. I like to call her daddy. I still
- 7:11Speaker 1: like it now, but I loved it when it was
- 7:13Speaker 1: the gals together.
- 7:14Speaker 5: I never listened to it ever.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Did you ever listen to it? Not even not even once,
- 7:20Speaker 1: not even the first f You just know what it
- 7:22Speaker 1: is as a cultural touchstone.
- 7:24Speaker 2: But you know what is funny when they were trying
- 7:26Speaker 2: to find I think there was like some post or
- 7:28Speaker 2: something about like two female podcast hosts for a barstool
- 7:32Speaker 2: My sisters are like, Ali, you have to really yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 2: And I was just like, I don't think I have
- 7:37Speaker 2: the personality to be, yeah, a barstool gal.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But all you have to do is talk about like
- 7:44Speaker 1: just like sex, whether you've had it or not, Like
- 7:46Speaker 1: you just have to talk like an expert, like, and
- 7:48Speaker 1: you have to.
- 7:48Speaker 5: You have to know everything about sex everything. Yeah, and
- 7:52Speaker 5: if you don't, pretend you do and people will believe you. Okay,
- 7:54Speaker 5: I can do that, but then at backfire, that backfire.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Don't call her daddy, because then everyone was like I
- 7:58Speaker 5: was listening to these girls and like now my ex
- 8:01Speaker 5: boyfriend wants has a restraining order again. Like their advice
- 8:07Speaker 5: that people call them, Yeah, people call them like misogynists
- 8:11Speaker 5: because they're they're giving bad advice, Like, well, why are
- 8:13Speaker 5: you guys listening to them? Are you listening to their advice?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah? It's also like the same thing when people get like, yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 2: just any any any celebrity or famous person, it's like,
- 8:23Speaker 2: why do why are we following?
- 8:25Speaker 5: No? Yeah, most of them are pretty out of touch,
- 8:27Speaker 5: and yeah, yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 1: They're just making it up. But there is a new
- 8:30Speaker 1: like we have a new podcast that kind of talks
- 8:32Speaker 1: about sex, and they're like obliterating us on the charts,
- 8:36Speaker 1: like they're us out of the wall.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Why don't we make this episode all about bone in?
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, yeah tried. We just can't speak knowledgeably. Yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: falls falls flat badly every single time. Should we say
- 8:49Speaker 1: are should we say her name?
- 8:51Speaker 5: They have?
- 8:52Speaker 2: We actually not?
- 8:53Speaker 5: We have no, we have it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: We have.
- 8:58Speaker 2: A start all if you start?
- 9:00Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, what's up everybody? Welcome back to Son
- 9:04Speaker 5: of a Boy Dad podcast Today it is September twelfth, Monday,
- 9:08Speaker 5: three thirty pm. They were joined by guest Ali mccofsky.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Woooo hell yeah, thanks for coming.
- 9:15Speaker 2: On, thanks for having me, Thanks for saying my last
- 9:17Speaker 2: name correctly?
- 9:18Speaker 5: Oh of course. Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Do people fuck it up?
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah? They fuck it up a lot. Are like ad letters?
- 9:24Speaker 5: How do they fuck it up? I feel like that's
- 9:25Speaker 5: like such an closkey McCloskey or Mkowski mccowski. I could see, No,
- 9:31Speaker 5: I couldn't. It's pronounced it's written out as mccofsky.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw one spelling of your name where the
- 9:36Speaker 1: oh is capital I have.
- 9:37Speaker 2: So yeah, people really want me to be Irish, really.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Try and just switch it up, just to see what happens.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Capitalize though, Yeah, I don't think it would make a
- 9:49Speaker 2: huge difference in my life.
- 9:51Speaker 5: When they bring you up on stage, it could change
- 9:53Speaker 5: things a lot.
- 9:54Speaker 2: When I was first hearing like open mics, kind of
- 9:56Speaker 2: like what you said before the pod, people would just
- 9:59Speaker 2: see my name on like a piece of paper to
- 10:01Speaker 2: call me up, and they'd be like Ali mccofsky, which
- 10:05Speaker 2: first of all is just like two of the most
- 10:07Speaker 2: crazy names together, like Ali and mccofsky, like in the
- 10:11Speaker 2: same family.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Any Scottish mix up.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but then they would like, see, man, I'm like
- 10:17Speaker 2: not in Alie.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not Ali. Where the funk is all lee
- 10:21Speaker 5: at it's me.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It's a look, how do you guys know each other?
- 10:25Speaker 1: How how do you? How did you come to be here?
- 10:27Speaker 1: On some of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 10:29Speaker 5: I met ally at the stand like a year ago.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Probably, Yeah, I think it was like one of my
- 10:34Speaker 2: last trips here.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, and then we did moon Tower together as well.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Have you noticed any growth in Little Sasquatches stand up comedy?
- 10:44Speaker 5: Like eight months?
- 10:45Speaker 2: But I'm gonna say, yeah, that's a good answer.
- 10:47Speaker 5: It's actually I don't even know if you've ever seen
- 10:49Speaker 5: it go up?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Have you a moon Tower? Oh?
- 10:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I was just fucking bringing the roof down.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You were it was an eight minute said I mean, come.
- 10:59Speaker 1: On, yeah, we're over super supportive of his dreams on this.
- 11:02Speaker 1: We like to stoke the fires. Yes, we blow into
- 11:04Speaker 1: the fire and trying to get on Well.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It was greg because we were walking down Sixth Street
- 11:08Speaker 2: in Austin and so many people were like, oh.
- 11:12Speaker 1: My god, Sasque.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And so I was like, my boyfriend loves you. One
- 11:18Speaker 2: of the most strung girls being like.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Babe, come here, it's Zas And the guy's like, I
- 11:23Speaker 1: don't even know who that is.
- 11:25Speaker 7: I'm not going back to college to be your friend.
- 11:28Speaker 7: I'm going so I can get Uber one for students.

- 12:24Speaker 2: I've never I don't know you well enough to where
- 12:26Speaker 2: I've had to say your god given name many times.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So when I got to the front desk, I was like,
- 12:32Speaker 2: how do I Oh, yeah, they don't even know I know.
- 12:35Speaker 5: I was like, no, he doesn't work here.
- 12:36Speaker 2: He's like, I'm here for Harry's podcast. And it is
- 12:42Speaker 2: a dumbass name. It rocks.
- 12:44Speaker 5: No, it sucks.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I but as a person who has to say it
- 12:47Speaker 2: out loud, I'm like, I don't like this.
- 12:49Speaker 5: I want to I want to not use that anymore.
- 12:51Speaker 1: But you know, wait, didn't they tell you like one
- 12:53Speaker 1: year ago not to use that.
- 12:54Speaker 5: They would tell me for a while not to use it.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Every single committian I've talked to me like, dude, donk,
- 12:59Speaker 5: what are you doing?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Oh like on stage?
- 13:00Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's like I can't, like, but that's how
- 13:03Speaker 5: you sell tickets?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, can you do like, can you do one
- 13:07Speaker 2: of those like double names like Harry aka Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 5: I've done that before with that young Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 5: I've thought about doing that or I have done that before.
- 13:17Speaker 5: But then it's like I'm like, I don't look at
- 13:19Speaker 5: I just don't want to have to make the host
- 13:21Speaker 5: like memorize this paragraph to bring it up.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and little Sasquatch is it's memorable.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah, but it also like every time I see memorable, yeah, yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 1: You're only remember for your name and not for your
- 13:33Speaker 1: jokes at all.
- 13:34Speaker 5: And also it throws people off when I didn't mean that.
- 13:39Speaker 5: It throws people off when I get brought up like
- 13:41Speaker 5: and they're like, who the fuck is about to walk
- 13:42Speaker 5: up on stage?
- 13:43Speaker 2: And then it's me, yeah, and they're like, well, I
- 13:45Speaker 2: guess for for the purpose of selling tickets, little Sasquatch
- 13:48Speaker 2: is good. But then when you go onto I don't know. Yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 2: what a tough position.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It's too famous. Didn't you originally do it to like
- 13:57Speaker 1: protect your family or something like that, you would like
- 13:59Speaker 1: something all to protect my some fake noble reason.
- 14:05Speaker 5: I did it because when I was in I started
- 14:08Speaker 5: tweeting when I was in high school at ninth grade
- 14:11Speaker 5: or eighth grade, and I didn't I was going to go.
- 14:13Speaker 2: To college, and you never said any like f up
- 14:16Speaker 2: s on there?
- 14:17Speaker 5: No I did. That's why I didn't use my real name.
- 14:19Speaker 1: What kind of s did you say?
- 14:20Speaker 5: A lot of bad ship? No you didn't. I was
- 14:22Speaker 5: a bad but I was a bad boy.
- 14:24Speaker 1: What kind of stuff have you? Deleted?
- 14:26Speaker 5: Nothing on my tweets? So stupid? Yeah, my tweets were
- 14:29Speaker 5: dumb as fuck. Growing On the other hand, I mean,
- 14:31Speaker 5: you don't even want to do the deep dive on him?
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't delete. I stand by it as well.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Really, yeah, I burned my Twitter down all it should.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I need a fresh star.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I keep it a buck, dude, I said what I said. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I was out here living. Yeah, I was out here
- 14:49Speaker 1: for a fucking minute. You got rid of all your stuff? No, yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I guess or you went through and picked up Twitter.
- 14:57Speaker 2: My Twitter was never hot enough for me to be like,
- 14:59Speaker 2: oh this is tough. What do I was like burning down?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Really? Yeah, I feel like that's like ripping up a
- 15:05Speaker 1: diary though. I feel like there's like a part of
- 15:07Speaker 1: you and diary.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It would never get published. Yeah, be a deal in
- 15:10Speaker 2: that diary. Not even just for you, you bangers, I'm sure.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, just a good couple pages of the diary. Yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 1: that's sad, though. I feel like you it's like burning
- 15:20Speaker 1: up your like childhood like toys and ship like that.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Or maybe you got to get rid of that.
- 15:23Speaker 2: You gotta grow up.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess you. You do. Thank you for your service.
- 15:28Speaker 5: I just saw that. Definitely, change my name is making
- 15:30Speaker 5: me think about it.
- 15:30Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, my loser. I wish I used
- 15:34Speaker 2: to my like Twitter or Instagram or whatever. It was
- 15:38Speaker 2: like my username in middle school and high school was
- 15:41Speaker 2: Versace Lettuce.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Oh but that's a sick.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Ass name and it was so cool and I wish,
- 15:45Speaker 2: I wish.
- 15:46Speaker 1: That's like little Sasquatch. That's like the same vein.
- 15:49Speaker 5: You should start going up and be like, GI up,
- 15:51Speaker 5: you guys know we're from Twitter. Versauchi Lettuce. Yeah, that
- 15:55Speaker 5: was like a rap name.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Moki.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Well, it was at that time where like people would
- 15:59Speaker 2: have stupid names. It would be like Gucci hot Dog.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and I was like, I'm Versaci Lattice.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Well, that's why I did my name because it was
- 16:08Speaker 5: like all the people on Twitter. It was like Bill Ratchet,
- 16:11Speaker 5: uh big Tan, I want a young domestic abuse that
- 16:15Speaker 5: was one guy. It's like everyone no one's using their
- 16:18Speaker 5: real names.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 5: And also I was like still going to go to college,
- 16:21Speaker 5: so I didn't want it coming back to my name.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Did you end up going to college?
- 16:24Speaker 5: I went for like a semester and drop out. Yeah.
- 16:26Speaker 1: They got a job at bar.
- 16:27Speaker 5: School wasn't for me. I knew I was more of
- 16:30Speaker 5: a creative. The stool was the stool was, Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 2: You're one of those guys. It's like, well, Steve Jobs actually.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Zuckerberg actually dropped out, so you should be good.
- 16:40Speaker 2: It's so funny when people do that and I'm like,
- 16:41Speaker 2: so what are you doing and like I'm telling Weed.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I'm like, job, yeah, yeah, you.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Got the entrepreneur and you.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It's a whole different fucking bag of tricks for them.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But you, I mean, it was a good decision by
- 16:52Speaker 1: you to get out of cass. Did you go to college?
- 16:54Speaker 2: I also went for like a month.
- 16:57Speaker 1: What were you going to be?
- 16:58Speaker 6: What?
- 16:58Speaker 1: What else were you going to do with your life?
- 17:00Speaker 2: I mean I knew I wanted to. I had done
- 17:02Speaker 2: one open mic before going to college, so I like
- 17:05Speaker 2: ultimately knew I was going to do that, but I
- 17:07Speaker 2: was like, I'll study political science while I'm here. But
- 17:10Speaker 2: I did, I mean I didn't. I dropped out so quickly.
- 17:13Speaker 1: With the intent to do what like protest by your
- 17:15Speaker 1: junior year.
- 17:16Speaker 2: No, I mean I went to I went to one
- 17:19Speaker 2: or I watched uh, I watched some movie where they
- 17:23Speaker 2: were talking about like the logistics or like the analytics
- 17:27Speaker 2: of how a president should appear, like they should wear
- 17:31Speaker 2: shoes that are a little bit worn and scuffed, but
- 17:33Speaker 2: still like nice and presentable. And for some reason, I
- 17:36Speaker 2: was like, that's political science. Like I don't even know
- 17:39Speaker 2: what job that is, but I'm like I want to
- 17:41Speaker 2: know the things.
- 17:42Speaker 5: What the fuck is going on outside.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Dress a president sounds like a siren.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Yeah, loud as fun.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I saw something crazy? What was it? Something wild happened? Oh,
- 17:52Speaker 2: there was a woman smoking on the train last night.
- 17:54Speaker 5: It was incredible, smoking cush.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Just smoking a sick I started, I'd started smelling some
- 17:59Speaker 2: sick smoking. I was like, is my mom in New York.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I looked over and it was this lady fully just
- 18:05Speaker 2: like smoking a cigarette, and I was like, that is me.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Are you staying in Manhattan right now?
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm staying in Manhattan.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Yeah, that's good. Yeah, because they taking the train from uh,
- 18:13Speaker 5: taking the train to Brooklyn or back from Brooklyn late
- 18:15Speaker 5: at night gets like because you're because like eventually everyone
- 18:17Speaker 5: will get off and then just the people that are
- 18:19Speaker 5: going to Brooklyn are on, and then it's like you
- 18:20Speaker 5: and like two people for like thirty minutes, Tyler, Do
- 18:22Speaker 5: you ever get that now? Yeah, you're just chilling.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Hell yeah, he's the one that should be scared of.
- 18:29Speaker 1: He's smoking SIGs on the train, just getting lit on
- 18:32Speaker 1: the truck up on the train.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, skinny white like white guys like you were scary.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but why.
- 18:41Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 18:41Speaker 2: There's just something you just got so much length so
- 18:44Speaker 2: much wingspan.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't know he could grab you up and not
- 18:47Speaker 1: even be close to you.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 1: True, he's got reached, dude. He could. He could be
- 18:51Speaker 1: on the other side of the train and just fucking
- 18:53Speaker 1: snatch you.
- 18:54Speaker 5: How you push the fuck out of you? You know,
- 18:59Speaker 5: strong push Why.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I feel like guys like you could like flip a
- 19:02Speaker 2: switch and then just be like crazy and you don't
- 19:05Speaker 2: see it coming.
- 19:06Speaker 5: He's a mean motherfucker. Yeah, you don't fuck around. He's
- 19:08Speaker 5: actually security. That's the only reason that he's in here.
- 19:11Speaker 5: We didn't know what kind of tricks you were gonna pull.
- 19:14Speaker 1: He whips ass from a distance. So there was a
- 19:18Speaker 1: dude who was just blowing the fucking I guess it's
- 19:20Speaker 1: not bad if it's just a vape, but just like
- 19:22Speaker 1: smoking it, smoking anything on a train is a fucking
- 19:25Speaker 1: crazy move. It's just a preposterous move. Just treating shared
- 19:29Speaker 1: space like it's your own space. I guess that's the
- 19:31Speaker 1: fucking city.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I've ever seen someone like fully like smoke something.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd never seen it before.
- 19:38Speaker 5: It was incredible, pretty wow move. But I guess, like
- 19:40Speaker 5: at I don't know, at a certain time, it's like
- 19:42Speaker 5: whether the fuck no one's gonna do anything like they
- 19:44Speaker 5: there's like you could do anything on the train, Like, no,
- 19:46Speaker 5: what what do they do?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. As I was, I was getting
- 19:50Speaker 2: off as soon as I noticed that she was smoking
- 19:52Speaker 2: a cigarette. But it was like at the time where
- 19:54Speaker 2: you could start smelling it. So I can just see
- 19:56Speaker 2: everyone looking around. And I wanted to stay on the
- 19:59Speaker 2: tra so bad just to see how it unfolded, but
- 20:03Speaker 2: I didn't have the time for it. One time I fell,
- 20:06Speaker 2: have you one of my first times in New York.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I was taking the train, which is like such a
- 20:11Speaker 2: foreign experience being someone from southern California.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Oh yeah, there's no public transport, no public transport.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And I was like, I'm very like, I'm staring at
- 20:21Speaker 2: my phone making sure I'm going the right way, I'm
- 20:23Speaker 2: on the right train, you know, all of that. And
- 20:25Speaker 2: I was so tired. It was late at night, and
- 20:27Speaker 2: I fell asleep and ended up like somewhere near like
- 20:30Speaker 2: Coney Island.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Oh Jesus, and I and my.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Phone was at like five My phone was at like
- 20:36Speaker 2: five percent. It's like two in the morning or three
- 20:38Speaker 2: in the morning or something, and I was just stranded.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Did you have to get it like anber or.
- 20:42Speaker 2: So I got a newber because I'm like, my phone's
- 20:44Speaker 2: not going to last for me to find my way
- 20:46Speaker 2: back home, so I like ordered an uber. I'm standing
- 20:49Speaker 2: on the street corner and my phone dies and so
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm just waiting. I'm like, I'm praying they don't cancel
- 20:54Speaker 2: on me. I'm praying.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, I've had some close calls like that.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Oh, because I'm like, then I'm just stuck.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Yeah that's what that's the thing that's nice.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Smoking on the yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, you're just lost.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 5: The good thing about New York is if your phone dies,
- 21:07Speaker 5: you can still get a cab. Oh yeah, that's the
- 21:11Speaker 5: move in New York.
- 21:12Speaker 2: But this is like in such a weird area where
- 21:14Speaker 2: I was like in an alley way, like there wasn't
- 21:17Speaker 2: there was no life around.
- 21:19Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a nightmare. That kind of is a nightmare
- 21:22Speaker 1: to be like in a in a deep corner of
- 21:24Speaker 1: New York with nowhere to go, like no no option
- 21:27Speaker 1: for an escape from that area of.
- 21:28Speaker 5: New Yeah, it's easy at fuck to get lost on
- 21:31Speaker 5: the subway too. I still like, to this day, I'll
- 21:33Speaker 5: get on the train and like it'll just pass my
- 21:36Speaker 5: street and I'll end up in like five die.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And then I was like, I'm just like what, I
- 21:39Speaker 1: don't use the subway or I don't use public trains
- 21:41Speaker 1: in other cities because I know it's just gonna whip
- 21:44Speaker 1: my ass. I know it's gonna get so lost, I'm
- 21:46Speaker 1: gonna wind up going the wrong way or I have
- 21:48Speaker 1: to ask someone for directions and shit like that. I'm
- 21:50Speaker 1: too insecure as it is to have to do.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I mean, LA is pretty tough, like for not having
- 21:55Speaker 5: a car out there, like do you have a car?
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'm assuming yeah, but there was a period where I
- 21:58Speaker 2: didn't have a car for like two years. I crashed
- 22:01Speaker 2: my car a blackout.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Hell yeah, the energy.
- 22:08Speaker 6: Drunk.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I was blacked out drunk.
- 22:13Speaker 5: No, oh you're did you bail? You left the car?
- 22:16Speaker 1: No?
- 22:16Speaker 2: I mean this is like such a when people are
- 22:18Speaker 2: like white privilege is not a thing. I'm like, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 2: I should have gone to jail because I was fully
- 22:27Speaker 2: I was fully blacked out. I like don't remember starting
- 22:30Speaker 2: my car at all.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Yeah, and do you remember crashing it?
- 22:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so yeah that sobers you up. You hit
- 22:37Speaker 2: the center divider on the It's like a cocaine bomb.
- 22:42Speaker 2: You're like, I'm ready, I could drive right now. No, truly,
- 22:46Speaker 2: I was like, let's go. It was to My car
- 22:50Speaker 2: was total, so I could not drive away. And it's
- 22:52Speaker 2: like I think three in the morning or four in
- 22:54Speaker 2: the morning, and so I start calling my mom, my dad.
- 22:56Speaker 2: My sister is like trying to get advice on what
- 22:59Speaker 2: to do. No one's answering. I call my sister's roommate.
- 23:02Speaker 2: She picks up. I'm like, I need to talk to
- 23:03Speaker 2: my sister, and my sister's like I told my sister.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I was like, I was drinking and I just crashed
- 23:10Speaker 2: my car. I guess I didn't sound that fucked up
- 23:12Speaker 2: because she was like, just chew gum, drink water. If
- 23:14Speaker 2: the cops come, like, don't tell them you were drinking.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Do not say you were drinking. So I'm like, okay,
- 23:20Speaker 2: but I only had one of the things. I either
- 23:22Speaker 2: had water or I had gum. I didn't have both,
- 23:24Speaker 2: so I'll just either siping away or chewing away. And
- 23:27Speaker 2: the highway patrol comes to move my car and I
- 23:33Speaker 2: start crying. You know, I was like, I'm a comedian,
- 23:37Speaker 2: i work late hours. I'm so tired. It's so it's
- 23:41Speaker 2: like it's fucked up saying it because I like, seriously
- 23:44Speaker 2: could have hurt someone. Luckily I didn't. But it is
- 23:50Speaker 2: what if I just admit I was like I killed
- 23:53Speaker 2: You know, we all have our time everything.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Did you consciously cry? Were you like it was coming?
- 24:00Speaker 2: I think I wasn't crying because I felt bad. It
- 24:03Speaker 2: was like I was crying because I knew that that
- 24:05Speaker 2: would help me. And also I was like, my fucking
- 24:07Speaker 2: car's total. Yes, and I had I've told the story before,
- 24:11Speaker 2: but I had. This was the second car that I
- 24:13Speaker 2: had totaled in a month. I had bought.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Dunk.
- 24:16Speaker 2: No, I was. I was dick drunk, but not like
- 24:19Speaker 2: alcohol drunk, which.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Could be worse. Hell yeah, yeah, more dangerous.
- 24:23Speaker 2: But dick drunk for me. Yeah, it was a it
- 24:25Speaker 2: was a weird time in my life. I was like
- 24:27Speaker 2: making an illegal U turn to park in front of
- 24:29Speaker 2: this hostel where I was going to bone an Australian
- 24:31Speaker 2: guy and I got t boned right.
- 24:34Speaker 1: In front of the hostel by the Australian guy.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah it was. And then after I after I got
- 24:42Speaker 2: t boned, I had the wait, what did you say
- 24:45Speaker 2: I missed Australian? I don't even know if they do.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I missed my chance. I didn't even get to no.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Because so here's how crazy it was. I crashed my
- 24:54Speaker 2: car right in front of the hostel. I wanted to
- 24:56Speaker 2: meet up with this Australian guy. And also like boning
- 24:59Speaker 2: in a hostel.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Like Australian room, they're always there.
- 25:04Speaker 2: They're always they're everywhere they travel, they get around. Yeah,
- 25:07Speaker 2: but then it's like I would have been boning him
- 25:09Speaker 2: in a room with like seven other people. It wouldn't
- 25:12Speaker 2: be the first time anyway.
- 25:15Speaker 5: More unethical than the blackout drunk car crash. Yeah. Maybe
- 25:18Speaker 5: there's just like a group of like homeless children in
- 25:20Speaker 5: the corner.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we're hot Australian dudes. A lot of Australian dudes
- 25:26Speaker 1: in there.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But I crashed this car. It was brand new. I
- 25:29Speaker 2: bought it with cash, bought this car, and four days
- 25:33Speaker 2: after I crashed in front of the hostel, the airbags
- 25:36Speaker 2: go off. It's total. They have this giant welt on
- 25:39Speaker 2: my forehead.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Is this from the T bone or the drunk driving?
- 25:41Speaker 2: This is from the T bone for the dick and
- 25:45Speaker 2: and my sister's like, I'm going to pick you up,
- 25:48Speaker 2: and I was like, oh no, I have to meet
- 25:49Speaker 2: up with my friends. I have this huge welt on
- 25:52Speaker 2: my forehead. Anyway, she picked me up. So then I
- 25:54Speaker 2: get the car back because I totaled a brand new car.
- 25:57Speaker 2: So I got the money back for what the value,
- 26:00Speaker 2: which was brand new. So I bought the same car,
- 26:02Speaker 2: but this time I got it in the color white
- 26:04Speaker 2: because I'm like, if it's white, everyone will be able
- 26:06Speaker 2: to see it.
- 26:06Speaker 5: Right color.
- 26:07Speaker 2: And then I crashed it in a blackout twenty eight days. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 2: but the highway patrol came, they moved my car.
- 26:13Speaker 5: They saw it. They probably picked up on it quick.
- 26:15Speaker 5: They were like, thank god it's white. It was so
- 26:18Speaker 5: easy wrapped around the tree, dead of night. We would
- 26:20Speaker 5: never be and the flames shooting out of the side.
- 26:28Speaker 2: But yeah, they like they they they put me in
- 26:31Speaker 2: the back of the car and they were like, okay,
- 26:34Speaker 2: we believe your story. I guess these idiots.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Yeah, And also was it it was the cops right.
- 26:40Speaker 2: There was highway patrol. They're like more serious than cops,
- 26:43Speaker 2: Like they're more down to Like.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Do they have top hats?
- 26:46Speaker 2: No, that would be cool if they did.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Though a wide brimmed hat though no, No, kind of cool. Hats.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I feel like that's kind of moral.
- 26:53Speaker 5: That's state troopers.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's state troopers.
- 26:56Speaker 6: State troopers.
- 26:57Speaker 2: If I was drunk and they were wearing top hats,
- 26:58Speaker 2: I would have been like, let me.
- 27:03Speaker 5: I should have asked if you could shot their gun?
- 27:05Speaker 5: Shoot their gun. They were to let you. I mean,
- 27:08Speaker 5: the car is already total. You could have just blown
- 27:09Speaker 5: that thing up.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Let's just have fun.
- 27:12Speaker 3: We're here.
- 27:13Speaker 1: It couldn't be cool about it one time. Yeah, I'm
- 27:16Speaker 1: surprised that you didn't still try and link up with
- 27:18Speaker 1: the Australian dude though. If you were like, right hospital
- 27:20Speaker 1: I texted them.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I was damn there was multiple Hell yeah, I think
- 27:28Speaker 5: there's true.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I mean I wouldn't have done it at the same time,
- 27:30Speaker 2: but back to back for sure.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Dealer's choice really, but you guys figure it out amongst yourself.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 1: But but that if you're like bloody, like stumbling into
- 27:43Speaker 1: the hostel, you really tested.
- 27:46Speaker 5: That could have been starts to look a good like romance. Yeah.
- 27:49Speaker 5: I mean Australia did to get here.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Australian's party hard, so I don't even think they would
- 27:53Speaker 2: have been affected. Oh no, they would have been like,
- 27:55Speaker 2: let's choose.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Yeah, the whip last scene, but for a dick a point,
- 28:00Speaker 6: oh yeah, just like.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I texted them after. I was like,
- 28:07Speaker 2: so hey, guys, something came up.
- 28:11Speaker 5: They're looking out their window. Is that you just getting
- 28:15Speaker 5: carried in? The stretcher came up? I'm pretty slam tonight,
- 28:18Speaker 5: pretty busy.
- 28:21Speaker 2: It was also they were they were at a different hostel.
- 28:24Speaker 2: It was I went to the wrong hostel.
- 28:27Speaker 5: Yeah, damn, And you're sober, fully sober. You really needed
- 28:32Speaker 5: that Australian dick.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I guess so I was so Yeah, I was very
- 28:35Speaker 2: despo back back then, back.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Then vibes back then. Now you're rich though, Yeah, you don't.
- 28:46Speaker 5: You don't drink, do you?
- 28:47Speaker 2: I don't drink anymore?
- 28:48Speaker 5: Was that when you stop drinking? It should have been yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 5: my sister.
- 28:52Speaker 2: My sisters were like, you have a problem. That's not normal,
- 28:55Speaker 2: and I'm like, yeah it is. I felt like crashing
- 28:58Speaker 2: your carn of blackout is like a yeah. I was like,
- 29:02Speaker 2: you get your license, you black out, you crash the
- 29:04Speaker 2: car like it's just part of life. But they were like,
- 29:07Speaker 2: you need to take a break, and I was like,
- 29:09Speaker 2: I don't know about that, but I tried taking a
- 29:11Speaker 2: break didn't do it, and then I was like, oh,
- 29:13Speaker 2: maybe this is a little darker than I thought.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Hell yeah, how long have you been off the.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Off the sauce sauce? Like almost seven years? But I
- 29:24Speaker 2: do create them every morning, you really. But there are
- 29:30Speaker 2: a lot of like.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Like California sober typeople.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Relative yeah, like sober like rock.
- 29:37Speaker 5: We work with. We work with one of them.
- 29:39Speaker 2: It's so wild.
- 29:40Speaker 5: He tells everyone. He's like, I'm like coming up on
- 29:42Speaker 5: two years sober. And he's like, dude, weren't you like
- 29:44Speaker 5: doing whippets like last night?
- 29:48Speaker 2: There's one dude. There's this one dude who's like, you know,
- 29:51Speaker 2: sober from everything, but create them. And me and my
- 29:54Speaker 2: boyfriend were his place, and my boyfriend hasn't seen this
- 29:56Speaker 2: guy in so long. They used to like do Heroin
- 29:58Speaker 2: and ship together. I was like, I'm doing much better now.
- 30:01Speaker 2: He comes out of the bathroom, he was like create
- 30:03Speaker 2: them like all around his mouth like he just state
- 30:05Speaker 2: like donuts.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 2: It was just Homer Simpson vibes.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, raw powder.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I don't even know how he was doing.
- 30:13Speaker 1: How do you take how do you take?
- 30:14Speaker 5: Buddy? We have a buddy of works here who did
- 30:16Speaker 5: who went through a big kreative face. And it was
- 30:18Speaker 5: when he was not drinking, right, he was trying to
- 30:20Speaker 5: get he was doing like a fifty day no drinking thing,
- 30:22Speaker 5: and he got like really into creatum. Yeah, and it
- 30:25Speaker 5: was way more detrimental to his health than alcohol.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Oh for sure.
- 30:28Speaker 1: How do you take it?
- 30:29Speaker 5: Is it multi drinking?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Can you like you mix it in above? Yeah?
- 30:33Speaker 6: He was taking little shooters, like five hour energies, like.
- 30:36Speaker 1: A vegetable replacement smoothie.
- 30:38Speaker 5: It's like there was like a reddit where people were
- 30:40Speaker 5: talking about cretum, right, yeah, and the guy was like
- 30:43Speaker 5: some guy was like I just took a full violet.
- 30:45Speaker 5: This is stronger than any heroine. And he at the
- 30:49Speaker 5: time was doing like two vials like a day.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But can you overdose on? Can you overdose like heroin.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Is I'd imagine I think you can get like a
- 30:59Speaker 2: really bad tummy Yeah yeah, yeah, So isn't it just
- 31:02Speaker 2: like CBD but like for heroin instead?
- 31:05Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a CBD version of opioids.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but you can overdose.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I think you get I think it. I think it
- 31:11Speaker 2: can cause like like I think you can get like
- 31:13Speaker 2: a really bad headache, Like it'll fuck you up like
- 31:16Speaker 2: you won't feel good at all.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it feels like something. It sounds like something, though,
- 31:20Speaker 5: just make you feel terrible.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's better than it.
- 31:23Speaker 2: It's good.
- 31:26Speaker 5: You got a vial and a half.
- 31:28Speaker 1: You gotta try it. Your boyfriend should never have quit Heroin.
- 31:32Speaker 1: He should keep that ship. Everybody I know that doesn't
- 31:37Speaker 1: loves it.
- 31:39Speaker 5: I had a dream that I did Heroin recently, and
- 31:41Speaker 5: I remember being like, I did it once and then
- 31:44Speaker 5: I was like, dude, this is the ship and I
- 31:46Speaker 5: wanted to keep doing it and yeah, it does seem
- 31:48Speaker 5: like and I was like, fuck, I'm not doing Heroin,
- 31:51Speaker 5: but dude, I'm never touching that ship. Fuck after your dreams.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Planning your dreams to people is like the most dumb
- 31:58Speaker 5: shit off, Like I don't even know why, Like it's like,
- 32:01Speaker 5: what was what were you guys going to get out
- 32:02Speaker 5: of me telling you that that I did Heroin in
- 32:04Speaker 5: my dream?
- 32:05Speaker 2: Well, so there's something.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Like damn, that's really cool, dude, it's an interesting story.
- 32:11Speaker 2: You can no one can ever explain a dream the
- 32:14Speaker 2: way that it felt, because dreams are so like feelings based.
- 32:18Speaker 2: When you're trying to explain it, there's like, but you
- 32:20Speaker 2: you had to be there.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like the ultimate.
- 32:23Speaker 5: You had to be there and you don't even know
- 32:25Speaker 5: half of the ship that happened, because like I never
- 32:27Speaker 5: remember my dreams. I'll have like a super fucked up
- 32:29Speaker 5: dream and then I'll wake up and I have no
- 32:30Speaker 5: idea what it was about. Yeah, yeah, damn, I don't know.
- 32:33Speaker 1: We got to get back into your dreams.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Maybe it's like repressed memories, you think so ship.
- 32:38Speaker 5: You think I was doing heroin like a long time ago.
- 32:40Speaker 5: I don't remember giving out jobs.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, maybe it's resentment towards your family, could be,
- 32:46Speaker 1: dude now making you keep the name of Little Sasquad?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yeah, to protect them? Yeah, what does your family do
- 32:53Speaker 2: to protect that? They're like dog workers. You're like, what
- 32:56Speaker 2: the fuck? Now?
- 32:57Speaker 5: Some people found my full name though, and what this
- 33:00Speaker 5: dude was like, this is why it's like it would
- 33:02Speaker 5: be better if I just came in with it, not
- 33:04Speaker 5: like I didn't everyone knew my name, because then no
- 33:06Speaker 5: one would give a fuck about what my name is. Yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 5: but then there's the fun of the Yeah, and his
- 33:10Speaker 5: dude was like tweeting at me and my dad.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Your dad's on Twitter, Like no, yeah, he is and
- 33:17Speaker 1: he gets off spicy.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Take No, my dad hats off. No takes. They're tweeting
- 33:21Speaker 5: at my dad and they were being like they were like,
- 33:23Speaker 5: I went to this this this guy's house. Send him
- 33:25Speaker 5: and his dad were calling me the end word, like
- 33:28Speaker 5: all this ship and it was like just a burner account,
- 33:30Speaker 5: just like making it up and like tweeting at like
- 33:32Speaker 5: my dad's like coworkers and stuff. And I've told my
- 33:35Speaker 5: dad a hundred times, like you need to be private
- 33:37Speaker 5: on Twitter, and then he like will like make himself
- 33:40Speaker 5: on private because he likes the attention. And I'm like,
- 33:42Speaker 5: what are you doing?
- 33:43Speaker 2: Wait? Are your parents still married?
- 33:45Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:46Speaker 1: Oh damn, but your parents are divorced as fuck right.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Oh so divorced.
- 33:51Speaker 5: I couldn't be more divorced.
- 33:53Speaker 2: My mom she's on like she's on Instagram. She used
- 33:56Speaker 2: to be. She might still have a Twitter account. It's
- 33:59Speaker 2: very inact of but my mom will do the thing.
- 34:02Speaker 2: She also she like kind of loves I don't know
- 34:05Speaker 2: it's she'll like my mom. I open for Russell Peters
- 34:10Speaker 2: a few times, and when all the stuff about Louis
- 34:14Speaker 2: was coming out, Louis c K, my mom tweeted at
- 34:18Speaker 2: Russell Peters saying at Russell Peters, in light of all
- 34:21Speaker 2: the news, I just want to thank you for being
- 34:24Speaker 2: so nice and generous to my daughter. And I was like, Mom,
- 34:28Speaker 2: what are you the fuck is this?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Because it made you?
- 34:33Speaker 5: Like show it to you or did you just see it?
- 34:35Speaker 2: She I think she showed it to me.
- 34:37Speaker 5: That's fuck.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah. And sometimes she'll like she'll DM like comics that
- 34:41Speaker 2: I'm friends with, and she'll be like, whenever you're back
- 34:44Speaker 2: in LA, would love to make dinner for you.
- 34:46Speaker 5: Oh that's crazy.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I had to be like, Mom, you gotta you gotta
- 34:49Speaker 2: cut it off.
- 34:50Speaker 1: But there's a decent amount of people in here whose
- 34:52Speaker 1: parents like are like they have active Twitter accounts and
- 34:56Speaker 1: you'll like, uh, they're coworkers of ours. But you'll see
- 34:58Speaker 1: their parents tweeting, and I think they just realize how
- 35:01Speaker 1: easy it is, Like their dumb ass kid has one
- 35:03Speaker 1: hundred thousand followers, Like, they might as well get some
- 35:05Speaker 1: takes off. They might as well troll a little bit online.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Parents people's pay like multiple parents in here have like
- 35:12Speaker 1: we hired someone's mom, No way, Yeah, someone's mom works
- 35:15Speaker 1: in here. There's like maybe.
- 35:17Speaker 5: She's great too, she's awesome. She breaks us. She makes
- 35:20Speaker 5: us cocktails on Friday.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So there's hope for your mom.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, we should hire her, should bring in
- 35:27Speaker 5: your mom.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Put her at the reception desk.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You had the one bit on your on your Instagram
- 35:34Speaker 1: talking about how your dad could uh do anything and
- 35:37Speaker 1: you'll like have the longest leash with your dad, but
- 35:39Speaker 1: your mom will like just do the smallest thing. You'll
- 35:42Speaker 1: be like, fuck, mom, you're ruining my life. I feel
- 35:47Speaker 1: like a lot of women are like that with their
- 35:50Speaker 1: mom still, Just you think guys aren't. I don't think dudes,
- 35:53Speaker 1: because I mean there's a whole mama's boy thing that
- 35:55Speaker 1: goes on with dudes and their moms. Yeah what I mean.
- 35:57Speaker 1: But I think that there's like, uh, I think, and
- 36:00Speaker 1: I think.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It depends on the relationship your parents have, because I
- 36:04Speaker 2: think observing your parents interact with each other really like
- 36:09Speaker 2: uh like affects how you view your parents. So I
- 36:12Speaker 2: felt like growing up, my dad would talk a lot
- 36:15Speaker 2: of shit about my mom, and so then I kind
- 36:18Speaker 2: of had this like broie like dad attitude or I'm like,
- 36:21Speaker 2: yeah she is a bit like I'm just like such
- 36:24Speaker 2: a misogynist. I grew up with my dad I'm like, yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 2: women are objects. My dad, Like, my parents got divorced
- 36:32Speaker 2: when I was like five, and I my dad had
- 36:35Speaker 2: like for the most part, I went back and forth,
- 36:37Speaker 2: but mostly I had like primary custody, so I spent
- 36:40Speaker 2: a lot of time with him, and it was like
- 36:42Speaker 2: I was just his bro. I'd just be like having
- 36:45Speaker 2: lunch or something after.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Cracking a beer.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Hot girl would walk by, and he'd like turn.
- 36:49Speaker 6: His nack.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Just like that's funny, hilarious, is it? Did you from
- 37:00Speaker 1: the rip in comedy start talking about like your family
- 37:02Speaker 1: dynamics and stuff like that, or like your parents need
- 37:04Speaker 1: divorced or were you like I gotta start talking about
- 37:06Speaker 1: this shit.
- 37:07Speaker 2: No, No, I'm only like recently trying to talk more
- 37:10Speaker 2: about my family and stuff because I think when I
- 37:13Speaker 2: first started, it was at the time in my life
- 37:15Speaker 2: when I was crashing my cars for Australian Dick. So
- 37:18Speaker 2: a lot of my stuff in the beginning was just
- 37:20Speaker 2: more like sexual and it still is, but it's definitely
- 37:24Speaker 2: like becoming a little bit more intertwined with like other things.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Get to the root of it, nobody funnier than someone
- 37:31Speaker 1: whose parents are divorced. Though it makes it, it makes people
- 37:34Speaker 1: way funnier. I think having parents that are split up
- 37:36Speaker 1: or at least like hate each other.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you just like get such a different perspective. Well,
- 37:41Speaker 2: it's also, yeah, I don't know, there's so many especially
- 37:44Speaker 2: comedy clubs, so many people go on dates there, and
- 37:47Speaker 2: so having parents who are divorced. Like I look at
- 37:50Speaker 2: all these couples at the comedy show and in my head,
- 37:53Speaker 2: I'm like, you're only going here because you guys can't
- 37:55Speaker 2: talk to each other.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, you guys are so sick of it.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Relationship is so messed up. I'm like, you guys are
- 38:01Speaker 2: breaking up soon, like this's a last ditch effort to
- 38:04Speaker 2: bring like joy.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you're enjoying this show together like it's a rap
- 38:08Speaker 1: for you too.
- 38:08Speaker 5: It does make sense though, because it's like you go
- 38:10Speaker 5: to economy show together or then don't talk shother for
- 38:12Speaker 5: like two hours, and then they like have something to
- 38:13Speaker 5: talk about afterwards. Yeah, yeah, you.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Think that's why people do that though.
- 38:17Speaker 2: No, sure, there's plenty of happy people who like like
- 38:19Speaker 2: a comic or like just like going to comedy shows,
- 38:22Speaker 2: but I think it does also just like I don't know,
- 38:26Speaker 2: I think you see so much more like dark shit
- 38:29Speaker 2: at a young age. If your parents get divorced, you
- 38:32Speaker 2: like see a lot of adult stuff that you normally wouldn't,
- 38:34Speaker 2: so you start looking at things from like a much
- 38:37Speaker 2: older perspective maybe.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Or like, if you have a happy family your entire life,
- 38:42Speaker 1: you have no need for like ever to have escapism
- 38:46Speaker 1: or even a good imagination. You just like live in
- 38:48Speaker 1: the present. You just live in a moment. It's just like, oh, Mom,
- 38:50Speaker 1: love each other, Dad, love each other. I don't care
- 38:52Speaker 1: about Cinderella or some Disney story. I'm already living in it. Yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 1: it's some bullshit. I do find my parents have never
- 38:59Speaker 1: hugged each other. Are your parents still together in the
- 39:04Speaker 1: eyes of the church.
- 39:07Speaker 2: See that always fucks me up way more. That makes it.
- 39:10Speaker 2: That makes me so uncomfortable for you their parents are
- 39:13Speaker 2: together but miserable, Like who are you doing this for?
- 39:16Speaker 5: I think a lot of people do it. There's always
- 39:17Speaker 5: like people that are like I have like friends with
- 39:19Speaker 5: their parents who are like as soon as he as
- 39:20Speaker 5: soon as this kid gets out of you're we're done.
- 39:22Speaker 5: And it's like why, like you're not helping him, Like.
- 39:25Speaker 1: The kid is definitely silently rooting for it. Yeah, I know,
- 39:29Speaker 1: go fuck someone.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to do a joke right now about
- 39:32Speaker 2: how like when you're young and your parents get divorced,
- 39:35Speaker 2: there's that thing where you're like, it's my fault, you know,
- 39:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm I'm the problem. I'm too much. My
- 39:41Speaker 2: parents can't be together because like the kids have ruined
- 39:44Speaker 2: their life. And now that I'm older, I realize I'm like, oh,
- 39:48Speaker 2: if your parents are still together, it's definitely.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Your fault, like you have like a drug.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Addiction or there's some reason why they feel they have
- 39:58Speaker 2: to stay together. Yeah, I know my parents have. Divorce
- 40:01Speaker 2: has nothing to do with me or my sisters, Like
- 40:03Speaker 2: we're perfect divorce because like they're fucked up.
- 40:07Speaker 1: But you see a kid addicted to create them and
- 40:09Speaker 1: their parents are like trying to figure out like a
- 40:11Speaker 1: way to send them to Malibu for rehab or something
- 40:14Speaker 1: like that. They're like pooling resources.
- 40:16Speaker 5: Probably puts them, pulls them closer together, it probably helps
- 40:19Speaker 5: their relationship.
- 40:20Speaker 2: The tag of that joke is essentially like divorce is expensive,
- 40:24Speaker 2: but so is sending your kid to rehab. Like you
- 40:26Speaker 2: have to make a choice. We can't do both.
- 40:29Speaker 1: It really is a fact. Yeah, you might as well
- 40:32Speaker 1: it is crazy. Yeah, the happiest families have the most
- 40:35Speaker 1: fucked up kids or like people who like spoil their kids.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Like I was at a wedding this past weekend and
- 40:43Speaker 1: there was a kid who, uh who, Like last time
- 40:47Speaker 1: I saw them, they were like they were they were
- 40:51Speaker 1: way skinnier. But then like their memories I have of
- 40:54Speaker 1: them is like being a kid and they're like drinking
- 40:56Speaker 1: a two liter of mountain dew or whatever. Like their
- 40:59Speaker 1: parents are just complete indulging them all the way, like
- 41:02Speaker 1: giving them so much love, or like anytime they want
- 41:04Speaker 1: a toy, like they get the toy or whatever. In practice,
- 41:08Speaker 1: it sounds like good parenting, like you want to want
- 41:10Speaker 1: your kid to have things, but then the kids just
- 41:12Speaker 1: wind up like going through it and being like overweight
- 41:16Speaker 1: and like like like you know, not loving their life.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It's you have to hate your kids a little bit.
- 41:22Speaker 2: A little bit you have to be as somewhat neglectful
- 41:24Speaker 2: just so the kid can figure.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Shit out fend for themselves.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 2: I was the third. I have two older sisters, so
- 41:30Speaker 2: by the time I was around, it was also like
- 41:33Speaker 2: seven and five years after my sisters, and so by
- 41:37Speaker 2: that point my parents had like given up pretty much.
- 41:39Speaker 2: They were like, you're a gift from God.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Oh you're the youngest. Yeah, yeah, the youngest gets I
- 41:44Speaker 5: mean I got two younger sisters and they don't like I.
- 41:48Speaker 5: I my my my parents used to like make me
- 41:50Speaker 5: do all kinds of crazy shit, and my little sisters
- 41:52Speaker 5: it's just like go on, TikTok, scroll TikTok, go to school,
- 41:55Speaker 5: Like school is the worst thing that they've ever had
- 41:57Speaker 5: to do by a mile. It's nuts. Like, but like
- 41:59Speaker 5: watching my parents like just not give a fuck about
- 42:02Speaker 5: what my younger sisters do is insane.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, my dad, I mean I would just like
- 42:07Speaker 2: I would like walk home from school or like take
- 42:10Speaker 2: the city bus and just like make my own lunches
- 42:13Speaker 2: because my dad was out, and like, you know, I
- 42:16Speaker 2: just felt like, I'm glad. I'm honestly so glad that
- 42:19Speaker 2: my parents weren't like that great at parenting me, because
- 42:23Speaker 2: I felt.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Like such a bless lot more, it's such a blessing.
- 42:26Speaker 2: If they were putting their all into it, like that
- 42:29Speaker 2: would be bad. You know, like if they gave their
- 42:31Speaker 2: best effort.
- 42:32Speaker 5: A politician, maybe you would have finished off that political science.
- 42:36Speaker 5: They would have let you where were you going? To school.
- 42:38Speaker 5: Where'd you I was.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Going to a shitty school in North County San Diego
- 42:41Speaker 2: called cal State San Marcos. It was like it was
- 42:44Speaker 2: a bad like it wasn't it wasn't for smart people.
- 42:48Speaker 2: There was a girl there who's like at a point
- 42:50Speaker 2: zero five GPA, and I got in. I was like, Oh,
- 42:53Speaker 2: that's good. They were like service dogs on campus and
- 42:56Speaker 2: I'm like, I think they're students.
- 42:58Speaker 1: They got it like right, a service dogs.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I remember, in like one of my first English classes
- 43:03Speaker 2: at that college, the teacher was like, so, do you
- 43:05Speaker 2: guys know what chronological order is? And I was like, oh,
- 43:09Speaker 2: we're starting from here. We're doing chronological order. And I
- 43:14Speaker 2: was like that's it. I'm done.
- 43:15Speaker 1: How did you pick that school though, like live in
- 43:18Speaker 1: San Diego or you were close there.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I was living in Long Beach and I didn't do
- 43:22Speaker 2: well in school, so my options were already limited. So
- 43:27Speaker 2: I applied there because I knew it was easier. And
- 43:29Speaker 2: then I applied to like San Francisco State University and
- 43:33Speaker 2: I got into San Marcos and that was pretty much it.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And then I made the decision to go there, and
- 43:39Speaker 2: then I found out that I also got into San
- 43:41Speaker 2: Francisco State. But I was like whatever, I'm going to
- 43:45Speaker 2: San Diego. I knew I wasn't going to last and
- 43:47Speaker 2: it was like two hours away from home, so I
- 43:49Speaker 2: could like it was an easy transition.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah, straightforward, that's pretty easy.
- 43:54Speaker 5: You ever failing classes in high school? Oh?
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:57Speaker 5: Really? What was GPA?
- 44:00Speaker 2: I don't remember, probably like well, I.
- 44:02Speaker 5: Want to say, if it's lower than mine, I was.
- 44:04Speaker 5: I was bad A students.
- 44:05Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't know, you're a bad at student. That
- 44:07Speaker 11: was bad. That was just I remember, like my entire
- 44:11Speaker 11: childhood was just do your homework. That was a constant
- 44:13Speaker 11: conversation and I was just like yeah, okay, and I
- 44:16Speaker 11: just never did it.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Did you get like diagnosed with add Oh yeah?
- 44:20Speaker 5: Fifth grade?
- 44:21Speaker 2: Fifth grade?
- 44:21Speaker 5: Yeah, but it wasn't even I don't even think, like
- 44:23Speaker 5: I think I have a d D. But like I
- 44:25Speaker 5: think people make ady D way more serious than it is.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I was just like lazy. I just didn't want to do.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Also, homework is bullshit, like nobody wants to do it
- 44:32Speaker 1: was in fifth.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Grade and everyone was like acting like I had some
- 44:34Speaker 5: sort of like mental disorder because I didn't want to
- 44:36Speaker 5: do my homework. Video games.
- 44:38Speaker 2: The people who wanted to do their homework.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Are losers facts?
- 44:42Speaker 5: Why did you get it? You have a d D.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I was, well, I don't. I don't do anything
- 44:45Speaker 2: for it. Now I might need to, but.
- 44:48Speaker 5: No, it makes you less funny. Those drugs they destroy
- 44:53Speaker 5: your everything. I've taken everything, really vance, there's one more.
- 45:00Speaker 5: I've taken all of them. They were like running experiments
- 45:03Speaker 5: on me. It was crazy. I remember when I took
- 45:05Speaker 5: Vivance for the first time. I was in fifth grade
- 45:07Speaker 5: and I literally just had to lay on the couch
- 45:10Speaker 5: like in the dark the entire day because I it
- 45:11Speaker 5: fucked me up so bad, Like I'm like, my head
- 45:14Speaker 5: was like pounding, and I like, uh, it's that those
- 45:17Speaker 5: drugs are so bad.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, And my doctor was like like upping my Yeah,
- 45:22Speaker 2: like non, that's what they did to me.
- 45:24Speaker 5: And then my mom brought me to the doctor and
- 45:25Speaker 5: they were like, he's like not a human anymore.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:27Speaker 5: They were like no, they were like, he has no
- 45:29Speaker 5: personality and we're probably gonna have to put him on
- 45:30Speaker 5: some anti depressants.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Oh good.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Now, when my mom was like, all right, you're not
- 45:34Speaker 5: taking this stuff anymore.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, I had like what a teachers I'd come
- 45:37Speaker 2: into my classroom and he you know when they like
- 45:42Speaker 2: have its student observer teacher whatever.
- 45:45Speaker 1: No, you got to pick that hair. I'm going to
- 45:48Speaker 1: stay here forever. These rooms don't get clean a biodegrade
- 45:52Speaker 1: in here.
- 45:53Speaker 2: There was a like student observer teacher, teachers aid or
- 45:57Speaker 2: whatever in the class, and the whole time he was
- 46:00Speaker 2: observing our class. I think it was there for a week.
- 46:02Speaker 2: He's in our class, and the whole time I just
- 46:04Speaker 2: keep going up to him being like, do you want
- 46:05Speaker 2: to see me dance? Do you want to see me?
- 46:07Speaker 2: Saying like shows for him during the class. This was
- 46:11Speaker 2: in I think like eighth grade.
- 46:13Speaker 5: Okay, that's not that bad. But too old, too old
- 46:15Speaker 5: for sure, but it's not that bad. I thought your
- 46:17Speaker 5: guy's like senior year of high school or something.
- 46:18Speaker 2: No, no, no. I was just like, watch me, watch me.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So I'm keeping him entertained. I'm entertaining myself. And then
- 46:24Speaker 2: at the end of the week, I get called into
- 46:26Speaker 2: the office. Yeah, and I get there and my mom
- 46:30Speaker 2: and dad are there, my teacher's there, That teachers eight
- 46:34Speaker 2: is there, and they're like, so we think your daughter
- 46:36Speaker 2: has a d D. Yeah, yeah, And I was like,
- 46:39Speaker 2: or you guys can observe my parents and tell them
- 46:42Speaker 2: to give me more attention. So I don't put on
- 46:45Speaker 2: performances for a strange man.
- 46:48Speaker 1: But I don't desperately need attention. Yeah, I can't imagine
- 46:51Speaker 1: what school was like from like the fifties to like
- 46:55Speaker 1: the late eighties before everybody will.
- 46:57Speaker 5: Just beat your ass. If you were doing that, it
- 46:59Speaker 5: would be the fuck out of you. I think that's
- 47:01Speaker 5: when ABD like the whole class.
- 47:03Speaker 1: That's when the medication like popped off, when they couldn't
- 47:06Speaker 1: whip ass anymore. Like if they can't beat the shit
- 47:08Speaker 1: out either like we're gonna sedate them one way or another.
- 47:10Speaker 5: You should not get that stuff like prescribed if like
- 47:13Speaker 5: that that at that young of an age, if you
- 47:14Speaker 5: get to an age where we're like, okay, I'm old
- 47:17Speaker 5: enough to know what this is gonna do and take
- 47:19Speaker 5: it sure, So we.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Can't whip ass and we can't sedate the babies, so
- 47:22Speaker 1: what it doesn't.
- 47:23Speaker 5: Even sedate you. It literally just like kills you like
- 47:25Speaker 5: you're not a human anymore and doesn't even help. I
- 47:28Speaker 5: was just like, now I'm just gonna scare at this
- 47:30Speaker 5: fucking crack in the wall for eight hours straight.
- 47:32Speaker 2: I felt like it helped me a little bit. Really, Yeah,
- 47:34Speaker 2: I felt more focused. But then at a certain point
- 47:37Speaker 2: when the dustage got real. Oh yeah, I was just
- 47:39Speaker 2: like I was like very focused on plans the way
- 47:43Speaker 2: that I wanted things done, and I'd get so angry.
- 47:46Speaker 5: I was furious twenty four hours.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Yeah, constantly, my GPA skyrocketed and I lost a ton
- 47:52Speaker 1: of weight. It was incredible, dude. I slimmed down and
- 47:55Speaker 1: my raids got way better.
- 47:56Speaker 5: It's underweight in eighth grade. And then I gained like
- 47:58Speaker 5: forty pounds and they were like, yeah, you and you're
- 48:00Speaker 5: like gaining weight too fast. And I was like, yeah,
- 48:02Speaker 5: maybe it had to do with I was like one
- 48:03Speaker 5: hundred pounds in eighth grade. Maybe that has something to
- 48:05Speaker 5: do with it. But yeah, that shit's not good.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:08Speaker 5: It also does make you less funny.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, it definitely like makes me very serious.
- 48:14Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, you lose your whole sense of humor.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel like I lost a little bit of
- 48:18Speaker 2: my brain.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Chemistrge Oh yeah oh yeah big time.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah damn, how are you going to rebuild it back up?
- 48:23Speaker 2: Anytime I bomb? I'm like, it's from the vibe.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Not my fault.
- 48:29Speaker 5: Dad, I mean, mom, yeah, that shit sucks. Yeah, they
- 48:33Speaker 5: We've talked about it before, but like I'm seeing it
- 48:35Speaker 5: more and more where people act like add is like
- 48:38Speaker 5: oh they're so young now yeah, but like people on
- 48:41Speaker 5: Twitter and stuff act like it's like I say, they
- 48:44Speaker 5: act like they have down syndrome, like they wanted to
- 48:46Speaker 5: be treated like it's like this crippling dishorder that they have.
- 48:50Speaker 5: It's like, dude, like you you don't pay attention well
- 48:53Speaker 5: in class?
- 48:54Speaker 2: Yeah, my my aunt.
- 48:55Speaker 5: It was a whole tweet. There's a whole thread and
- 48:57Speaker 5: there was like it was like go e see on
- 49:00Speaker 5: us ADHD people, it's like sometimes we ask questions twice.
- 49:04Speaker 5: We can't help it. It's like, dude, like you're a
- 49:07Speaker 5: normal person, Like stop trying to have something wrong with
- 49:09Speaker 5: you so bad?
- 49:09Speaker 2: People do want to be like put in category now.
- 49:12Speaker 5: It's insane.
- 49:13Speaker 2: I mean, I'll be honest, it was pretty boring being
- 49:15Speaker 2: like a pretty straight woman.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I'm like I want I.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Want a little bit of a rough and tumble.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Yeah, a little thing, just a thing to have. But
- 49:23Speaker 1: it's like one hundred for one hundred on diagnosis with
- 49:27Speaker 1: diagnoses with ADHD, Like if you go in and ask
- 49:30Speaker 1: for one. They're going to give you one. Yeah, it's guaranteed.
- 49:32Speaker 5: They've never had someone go in and been like, now
- 49:34Speaker 5: you're you don't have it. Yeah, dude. The test that
- 49:36Speaker 5: they make you have to the test, it's like, how
- 49:39Speaker 5: would someone pass that. They're like, all right, listen to
- 49:42Speaker 5: this audio for two hours straight. Every time you hear
- 49:44Speaker 5: a beep, press this button, and then it's like, if
- 49:47Speaker 5: you like, stop paying attention to the beep seventy minutes say,
- 49:50Speaker 5: and they're like, yeah, dude, you're fucked. Yeah, your brand's
- 49:52Speaker 5: fucked up.
- 49:53Speaker 1: They like, read me a list of like seventy five
- 49:56Speaker 1: random words and they're like, all right, tell us the
- 49:58Speaker 1: words back.
- 49:58Speaker 5: Yeah, like O you to group them differently?
- 50:01Speaker 1: Yeah? What the Yeah, I'm an idiot as it.
- 50:04Speaker 5: I like bad, Like hey, I like couldn't like use
- 50:06Speaker 5: a pencil the right way when I was younger, and
- 50:08Speaker 5: they were like that's a symptom.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Oh my god, I mean that's what TikTok is. Now.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I'm diagnosing myself with new things every week.
- 50:15Speaker 5: It's fucked.
- 50:15Speaker 1: We need a new one though, because it's ADHD is
- 50:18Speaker 1: like taking over and everybody has. It doesn't feel special anymore,
- 50:21Speaker 1: Like I want a new thing.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Last time I saw my aunt, she was like,
- 50:24Speaker 2: you know us neurodivergent people, Like you're saying that it's
- 50:30Speaker 2: my aunt's age.
- 50:31Speaker 1: But nobody's neurotypical. Dude, I don't know a single person
- 50:34Speaker 1: that becauses. If you have ADHD, that's neurodivergent.
- 50:37Speaker 2: That's what you're saying.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That's like, who, so who is neurotypical? If everybody has ADHD?
- 50:41Speaker 2: I have nothing wrong with me. Actually I went back
- 50:44Speaker 2: to the doctor and they said that I'm actually perfect.
- 50:47Speaker 1: That's actually the new having everything. Yeah, just being just
- 50:50Speaker 1: having nothing.
- 50:51Speaker 5: They should just stop diagnosing it until you're like at
- 50:54Speaker 5: least like fifteen or sixteen.
- 50:56Speaker 1: You think, well, people can get it at any time,
- 50:59Speaker 1: though they'll give that shit way. As an adult, I.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Hear nothing about it. I feel like everybody has it.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Everybody, everybody When it's just like how bad do you
- 51:07Speaker 1: want the drugs? Yeah, and they'll give them to you
- 51:09Speaker 1: no matter how bad you want them. If you want
- 51:11Speaker 1: them just a little bit, you can get the drugs
- 51:13Speaker 1: like you could have never had it in school and
- 51:15Speaker 1: just like hate your job and just like all right,
- 51:16Speaker 1: you can grind through your job with it.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Well, so now like our world is the society. We
- 51:22Speaker 2: go off to society and everything is made to be
- 51:28Speaker 2: like happening all at once. So it's like, yeah, obviously
- 51:31Speaker 2: everyone's going to be like a little bit adhd we
- 51:33Speaker 2: have nothing, Like we need to go back to factory jobs.
- 51:36Speaker 2: We need to just be sitting stationary, putting one thing
- 51:39Speaker 2: on a factory line and then going home.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Those are the happiest people.
- 51:44Speaker 5: Yeah, farmers, it is like they that's like what it
- 51:46Speaker 5: should be. We got to go back and do be
- 51:48Speaker 5: like like yeah, just like stand here and fucking move this.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Dude, I need a physical job. My like my, I
- 51:55Speaker 1: think I'm like losing circulation to the rest of my
- 51:57Speaker 1: body because all I do is fucking sit around. I
- 51:59Speaker 1: got cold. It's like a fucking octogenarian. I'm like, I'm
- 52:02Speaker 1: my death bet octogenarian, like an eighty year old.
- 52:05Speaker 5: He's always throwing around big words.
- 52:07Speaker 2: That was a wild one.
- 52:09Speaker 5: I like to drop one in every episode.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I didn't mean nothing by it.
- 52:12Speaker 5: See if anyone else can pick up on what it means.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Octough yeah yeah, yeah, see eighty years old.
- 52:21Speaker 5: That's using just like I feel like I'm eighty.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm fucking eighty years old.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Yeah, what kind of women do you like? Octogenarian?
- 52:32Speaker 1: It sounds like a good job.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks like a shirt on Venice Beach. That's like,
- 52:35Speaker 2: I'm not an octogenarian, but I'll take a lot.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Take a look under the hood. It's funny as fuck.

- 53:43Speaker 2: will be like like when I go on stage, are like,
- 53:45Speaker 2: what credits do you want? Should I say JFL? I'm like,
- 53:47Speaker 2: no one knows what. No one outside of comedy knows
- 53:51Speaker 2: what JFEL is. It's just for laughs. It's a comedy
- 53:54Speaker 2: festival in Montreal. It's been happening for maybe like forty
- 53:57Speaker 2: years or something, and it's like prestigious. It's like where
- 54:01Speaker 2: a lot of comics got their big break.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Congratulations, it's a big deal.
- 54:05Speaker 2: You know, I'm doing bars. Yeah, it doesn't really like
- 54:14Speaker 2: it used to be like, oh this is where fucking
- 54:17Speaker 2: Seinfeld or like they'll there's crazy stories from it. It's
- 54:22Speaker 2: it's still is a big deal now, but it's not
- 54:24Speaker 2: as like instant success overnight. But it's really cool. They
- 54:28Speaker 2: have this new Faces showcase where it's like.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Yeah, that's like the big thing to get Yeah JFL.
- 54:34Speaker 2: It's like the hot new comics on the scene. So
- 54:37Speaker 2: I got to do that. It was super fun.
- 54:41Speaker 1: So you already did it.
- 54:42Speaker 2: I did it.
- 54:42Speaker 5: Yeah, it was recently. It's like a month.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Ago, a month or two ago. Yeah, holy shit to Montreal,
- 54:48Speaker 2: which is like.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Are people mean in Montreal or what?
- 54:52Speaker 2: It's like French French Canadian, French Canadian, French Canada.
- 54:57Speaker 1: So are they nice or they mean they're cool? Yeah?
- 54:59Speaker 4: Cool.
- 55:00Speaker 2: I had a good time.
- 55:01Speaker 1: I had a bad time with a with a guy
- 55:03Speaker 1: at the UH passport control there who had he had
- 55:06Speaker 1: three fingers on his one hand though, so I was like,
- 55:08Speaker 1: he's just being mean because he has three fingers. I
- 55:10Speaker 1: didn't hold it against him. I just figured I saw
- 55:12Speaker 1: that guy, do you know what I'm talking about.
- 55:14Speaker 2: I feel like I saw that guy.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He told me to go get a new passport. He
- 55:17Speaker 1: was like, this is too disheveled, Like I want you
- 55:18Speaker 1: to go to go straight to the capitol. But I
- 55:20Speaker 1: was flying to Toronto and it wasn't. But I just
- 55:22Speaker 1: figured he was mean because.
- 55:23Speaker 6: There was that a point or was that a palm
- 55:24Speaker 6: that you just.
- 55:25Speaker 1: He kind of gave me. But it was like it
- 55:26Speaker 1: looked like all three. Yeah, it was all three.
- 55:28Speaker 2: He was get fisted by that guy.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's an easy.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Famus booming on.
- 55:33Speaker 5: Yeah, you me and my boy Marcelo out there.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Yeah, mate, David yeah, yeah, yeah, Marcelo's great. Yeah, I
- 55:44Speaker 2: saw him last night. Marcel's cool and Marcel was there.
- 55:47Speaker 2: A lot of New York it was we're in New York.
- 55:49Speaker 5: Heavy, Oh yeah, big time.
- 55:51Speaker 10: Damn.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
- 55:53Speaker 2: Good thing?
- 55:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:54Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 55:54Speaker 5: And many people not from America. There any non Americans?
- 55:58Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, not on the not on the new face.
- 56:01Speaker 2: You know they have like their own it's like across
- 56:04Speaker 2: the world something like that. Yeah, international, they have an
- 56:07Speaker 2: international showcase.
- 56:09Speaker 5: Wasn't that British dude? Who's the British dude? That really
- 56:11Speaker 5: famous guy.
- 56:11Speaker 2: James As He was there right? Oh my god, I
- 56:13Speaker 2: was you love him? I love him. I was stocking
- 56:17Speaker 2: him really because I like never get the chance to
- 56:20Speaker 2: see him perform, and so he was doing a bunch
- 56:23Speaker 2: of shows there. So I literally, like right after my
- 56:26Speaker 2: first showcase, which is like the big showcase, like a
- 56:29Speaker 2: lot of people like stick around and watch all the
- 56:31Speaker 2: other comics. But I was like fuck that. I once
- 56:35Speaker 2: after right after my set, I left, I got some
- 56:40Speaker 2: nasty poutine. I just saw the first available poutine and
- 56:43Speaker 2: it was disgusting. There was like the guys working there
- 56:45Speaker 2: weren't wearing gloves. They're just like dipping their fans into everything.
- 56:48Speaker 2: It was foul.
- 56:51Speaker 5: Damn God, damn.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Poutine is a little bit better in theory than in practice.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Like using poutine's delicious and then you have it's just like.
- 56:59Speaker 2: I had just go fries the other night at a
- 57:01Speaker 2: diner here, which is essentially like poutine. Jeez, it was
- 57:05Speaker 2: so disgusting. But I love ship like that, like I
- 57:08Speaker 2: love like nasty, just like warm slop style.
- 57:12Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I've had poutine once and it was
- 57:14Speaker 5: in Boston and it was fucking awesome.
- 57:16Speaker 1: It was good.
- 57:17Speaker 5: It was great. So happy for you, brother, pid flex
- 57:20Speaker 5: on you.
- 57:23Speaker 1: You gotta try the poutine out there. I got a question.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Do you know Ryan Seacrest?
- 57:29Speaker 2: I don't know IMDb daddy.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I read your ion DV. I was like, damn, Ryan
- 57:37Speaker 1: Seacrest is like a famous person who actually feels famous
- 57:40Speaker 1: to me.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he's like mega.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Famous, he's super famous.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Yeah he No, I don't. I don't like know him anymore,
- 57:48Speaker 2: but yeah it did work for him. Yeah, we had
- 57:51Speaker 2: had a huge falling out. It sucks or beefing, Yeah, Ryan,
- 57:56Speaker 2: huge beef.
- 57:57Speaker 1: But settle it now or we could fucking we're going
- 58:00Speaker 1: to bring him in.
- 58:03Speaker 2: I just switched Ryan. Do you remember me?
- 58:10Speaker 5: What did you do with Ryan? Secret?
- 58:11Speaker 2: I used to work for him. I was an employee
- 58:13Speaker 2: of Seacrest Media. I was on his radio show Kiss
- 58:17Speaker 2: FM for like four years when I was in third grade.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Until about like six or seventh grade, I made prank
- 58:24Speaker 2: phone calls on Kiss FM really yeah, which is essentially
- 58:27Speaker 2: like Z one hundred the West Coast and Yeah. I
- 58:30Speaker 2: just had this wild, high pitch of voice, and I
- 58:32Speaker 2: would make these prank phone calls and it was like
- 58:35Speaker 2: locally it was like a big deal. Like I really
- 58:37Speaker 2: fifth grade and people would be like, how's Ryan? Like
- 58:41Speaker 2: I had like fake friends in school. I was only
- 58:44Speaker 2: your friend so I could go to the Shark Tales premiere.
- 58:47Speaker 5: Damn, that's nuts. So you're doing that in third grade,
- 58:50Speaker 5: you said, until like sixth grade you get that gig.
- 58:53Speaker 2: I just I randomly called in, Like you know how
- 58:55Speaker 2: you can call request a song or something. I just
- 58:59Speaker 2: one day I called in. I wanted to like say
- 59:01Speaker 2: something on the radio once again. Parents aren't home. I'm
- 59:04Speaker 2: just looking to pay attention to me. So I call in,
- 59:07Speaker 2: I get through, and I'm asking for Britney Spears. Tickets
- 59:11Speaker 2: and they're like, can you sing a song? So I
- 59:12Speaker 2: sing Toxic. I'm like the taste. And then after I
- 59:18Speaker 2: sing this song, they're like, oh, we don't have we
- 59:20Speaker 2: don't have Britney Spears tickets, but we have American Idol tickets.
- 59:23Speaker 2: And I'm like, only go if they're vi P and
- 59:26Speaker 2: they're like, who is this grid? They're like, where are
- 59:27Speaker 2: your parents? I'm like, I don't know, seven in the morning,
- 59:33Speaker 2: and then they ended up like they were like we
- 59:34Speaker 2: have anic morning show seven in the morning.
- 59:39Speaker 5: Like you just opened your eyes, I'm gonna call into this.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I was getting ready for school and my dad was
- 59:45Speaker 2: taking my sister to school and my other sister was home,
- 59:48Speaker 2: and so I was like, let's call. And then the
- 59:51Speaker 2: producer was like, we have an idea. If it works great,
- 59:55Speaker 2: if not, whatever, come to the studio this week. Have
- 59:58Speaker 2: your dad called me and we'll see if it works.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Until we made these prank phone calls, they put them
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: out and ended up like being a success, and so
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: did it for like four years.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: Damn like a child star.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I was all. I was, yeah, but it's one of
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: those things where like I wasn't like I was locally famous, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: it was like a big deal locally, but like no
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: one else that's crazy.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: They don't even know that I'm on Ryan's Secret in
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the Corner.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, no one here knows to be a
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: child star.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: On the radio. A radio star is hilarious too. It's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: just like such a non modern way to be a star.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but I mean this was the time for it.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: There was like iPod shuffles just came out, you know,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: but cars didn't have ox chords really yet.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Yeah, totally, And it was like, uh, serious was just starting.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: So and I know that you could get like, uh,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: what was the name of the station.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Clear channel? It was one or two points having kiss
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: at them.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I feel like you could get kiss at them, like
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: if you're in New York, if you had a serious
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and like that, I feel like.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: You still might be able to win a serious start.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I think around then. Yeah, I don't know. I don't
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: know how old you are. So I don't know.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: How old are you.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I just turned twenty seven.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Congratulations is a good year to die.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I know, I just went to the Also, I didn't know,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: do you know you know Basqt the painter, Oh yeah, big, big.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: We're big very we love Baskett.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a friend of the pod big yeah, big time.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: He's coming on after this.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I went to his Yeah, there's like an exhibit that
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I went to. Also, I didn't know his name was
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Jean Michel. I thought it was like John Michael. Now
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: John Michael. He died when he was twenty seven too.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Yep, he's dead.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: He's dead.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: He's dead.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: What died eighty eight? I read his whole.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: Look, we were just kicking it recently.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: If you have any other Baskett questions, do you have him?
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Who was he hanging out with?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: He was hanging out with Warhol Warhol. That really, that's
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: what sent him into a spiral when Warhol died. Really,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: but he was also kind of catching some flak for
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: hanging out with Warhol so much that he was starting
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: to be called like warhol sidekick.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: People say they fucked. Do you think they did?
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: There's like winning or there's like TikTok rabbit holes where
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you can go down or the algorithm will just start
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: feeding you New York tours where they go to like
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Baskeiacht's old house and ship like that. Yeah, it's like
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: this is the little. Have you been on it or
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you read it?
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: You know?
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I read the whole Wikipedia.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: God damn.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: He's half Haitian, half something else. His mom got put
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: in and out of mental facilities and that's when he
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: really kind of lost control and he was like running
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: away from home, dropped out of school.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: He was good at drawing crowns and dinosaurs.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: Yeah, he painted his works like hundreds at a time.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Let's go, bro, did you read his You read it too?
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: I got a coffee book of his, a big then.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I was it the was it big exhibit and a
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: lot of his stuff. It'll have like you know, he'll
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: write something because it was a mix of like poetry
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: and or and he would put like quotes around it
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: and then put like a little cea circle thing, the
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: trademark thing. And I'm like, did Virgil a blow? Did
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: he like ignore? Like was that like a nod? Did
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: he ever acknowledge it?
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: You're bringing up somebody's also introversial topics? Yeah, they're Virgil.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: But I just don't know enough about Virgil to know
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: if he was like, oh, yeah, this was inspired by
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Baskee out or if he was like this is totally mine.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I honestly didn't know anything about.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: You got to get those guys on the pod.
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: Yeah, we got to get Virgil.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: So we can link up with Basket and Virgil.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: You guys should have a have a medium on the pod.
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: Yeah, we should.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: We got two mediums.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: We just need a mediums yeo mediums, you just need
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: one medium. Yeah.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: I had a medium on my podcast, my friend Monterey
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: and like the City Money, and she's the second medium
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to tell me. She was like, you were molested as
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: a child, And I like, this information isn't helpful. I
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: don't know who did it.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: To walk around.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I called my mom. I'm like, Mom, was I molested
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: as a child? And she was like, yeah, we did
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: have some weird babysitters. I'm like, okay, yeah, I guess.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: So we'll stray away from the medium then yeah.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not trying to find out.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: I got a lot knowing.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: I know it's so unhelpful.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: Yeah, but they also could just bullshit.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I know That's what I'm saying. I'm like, just because
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: I have sad eyes doesn't mean.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: That's a bold one though. They go for like dead grandma,
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Or they'll be like you're going to meet a tall
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: guy with brown hair. It's like, dude, yeah, that's most dudes. Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: most human of men at least.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: No, no, no, if they were like, you're going to
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: meet a guy that's like, it's a he's alive at
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: how fat he is, then that would be most of barstool.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: He's twenty four and morbidly obese. It's our calling carb.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: What do you know about barstool?
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: Yeah, what do you know about the stool?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Okay, here's here's what I know about barstool. Call her Daddy.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Used to be here, big drama, used to say.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: Right here fels like just yesterday.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: You feel that they're ghosts in here, right in this
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: rooms where they came up with the gluck luck.
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, dude, I remember that like it was yesterday.
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: The whole office was.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: I just love a place that has drama.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: We have it all the time, So that's fine.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: Pretty easy to not get involved in drama, Yeah, got
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: me even Like I don't think any of us have
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: ever been involved in any but some people it's like
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: every day there's something new.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Some people really love.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: Drama, so people thrive on it.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: I think it's people who have like somewhat boring lives.
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, probably.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: And now I have drama with those people.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Oh yeah taking shots, you're taking shots at virtual I
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: want that on the record.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Or Virgil food.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Testing, right, yeah, my boyfriend watches those videos on the.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Toilet food tests.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Yeah, the food tests. And then Dave Portnoy loves eating pizza.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: I think, yeah, so what's the food testing?
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: What was the one in the office where there's like
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: a weird food there's a guy.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: Who oh Lower in the bar?
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Yeah, that's like gonna be one of Barslo's biggest shows
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: outside of like, I.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Want to try it? Are they doing it today? I
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: want to try a weird ass food?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: They probably are.
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: Everyone I talk is always like that. Like everyone's always like, oh,
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I don't watch Barsol, but I do watch Lower in
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: the Bar all the time.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Do you feel like there's a lot that you wouldn't eat?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Would you do well on a show like that or
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: are you going to be like throwing up and it'll
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: be funny?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: In my head, I think I'm like really adventurous and
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: like Yolo vibes, you know, like in my head, I'm
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: just like this wild person. But I think maybe an
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: actuality i'd be like I'm scared. Yeah, I don't like
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: the texture.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's what it is.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: It's a lot of like really gross.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: But then also there's a part of me that's like, oh,
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: it's being filmed and mama loves attentions.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: Roan hosted tell her about most Dangerous.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: It was a game. It was a game show that
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I hosted that he was doing where you had to
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: do like nasty stuff.
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: I had to eat a scorpion for attention, for attention.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Yeah yeah see I you know those like scorpion lollipops
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: like the drive all.
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: Along with there's a bug inside of it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, ye yeah I got one of those, and
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: I was too scared to eat thatch.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: Is that really? I always though those are fake.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I think they're fake, but even the thought of it.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: They are fake, I thought they're real for sure.
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: Oh they are. That's amazing. I remember seeing those as
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: a kid and like, oh, that has to be fake. Yeah,
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: why would you anyone want? Why would you buy that?
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: Shut the candy shop? Like, you know, what make this
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: lollipop better? If there was a dead bug inside of it,
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: that would make this be really good.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: It's trying to turn people out to start eating the bugs.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: Yeah, eat the bugs.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I get I don't know. It's like
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: one of those things when you're a kid and you're
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: like swimming and you're like there's a shark in the
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: pool and it's like, obviously that's never gonna happen, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: your imagination is so old.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: I still get that.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Yeah, in my head, eating the dead scorpion, I'm like,
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: my saliva will bring it back to life.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, living inside of me.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Like all logic goes out the door. I'm like, this
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: is my reality now.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: That would be sweet as fuck to have a scorpion
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: living inside of you, just like in your tummy would
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: be interesting.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: I when I ate the scorpion, it wasn't bad because
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: it was like dead as fuck. It was just like
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: crunchies and he had like a fevorless potato chip. But
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: then I tried, they tried to make me get a
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: water bug, which was like similar size to the scorpion,
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: but way more dense.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Hell.
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: I took like a little tiny bite and I was like, no,
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: it was so it was foul. Did you did you
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: ever fuck with that?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I'll take a tiny bite of something and I'll eat
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: it without a problem. But I'm not trying to eat
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: all of something now finishing something.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: That was when it got to the problem with the
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: scorpion was when I was like wrapping up and I
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: was like, dude, this is in my body right now.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: And when I like went for the torso even though
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: it's still was like very small but oh so gross. Yeah, bad,
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: I don't eat scorpions.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Is also what I know about barstool. I don't know
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: if I'm allowed to say this. Dave has a sex
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: tape that's out several multiple have you guys watched.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Of course I watched the first one, but I didn't
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I stop watching after the first one.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: We have like a viewing party every time one drops
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: at the office.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: It's so wild in my head, right out of a theater.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I think it'd be really interesting to like watch a
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: couple have.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: Sex like in person.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Is that just me?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Or are you talking about pornography?
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I've heard.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: I don't know if I would enjoy it, but just
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: for like, uh, I don't know what the word is,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: anthropologic purposes. I would just be curious to observe how
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: that goes down. But then watching that video, I was
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: like maybe I don't. Maybe it's too much because in
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: my head people are having boring sex. And then I
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: saw that and I'm like, I didn't even.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Know that was on the y. I've never seen a
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: menu where that's off for How did they come across
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: your desk?
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: My boyfriend, I think, Uh, my boyfriend works at a
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: podcast studio, and Dave was doing a podcast with someone
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: at the studio he works at, and then they were talking.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: I guess somehow it came up that he has sex types.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: So we watched it together.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Yeah, what studio is that?
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Is that Melrose podcast in l A.
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: Yeah? Interesting, We'll have to check that out.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: The studio here.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You got to check out his podcast studio. Do you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: think that it'd be harder to work for a boss
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: where you've become so intimately familiar with them with their
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: sex life.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: No, because I'm so used to comics and comics are weird.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they all have I don't know, if gross
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: shit going on and they like talk about it or
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: they I feel like some comics probably do weirder ships,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: so they could be like, so I was doing this
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: fucked up ship the other day. It's like, dude, you
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: did that ship on purpose, Like you're not like fucking twisted,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you're just looking for material.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: Yeah, it's called committing to the bitt.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: It is that why you shaved your head this year now?
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Just committing to the bit.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: You shaved your head.
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: Uh yeah, I think that was a couple months before Moontower.
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: I don't know if I still was buzzed up then,
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: I don't. I think it grew back, but I shaved it.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: When a guy shaves his head like that was someone
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: who's known for not having a shaved head to people go,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: did you go crazy?
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: Yeah? That's what everyone.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Everyone assumed he went.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Everyone assumed I went crazy, which I might have a
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: little bit, but I don't think I fully did. I
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: had wanted to shave my head since I was for
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: four years now. I remember the first time I was
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: going to do it. I was fully going crazy, though,
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: and then my roommate at the time was like no
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: or no. He was like actually super like into it.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: He's like all right, bro, but a few shave it,
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: I'm doing it. And then I was like, never mind,
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: I'm not doing this. Yeah yeah yeah, but uh he.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Was just going to steal your attention.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know what it is. I mean, I
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: just wanted I do that.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: People will think we both went crazy. Yes, like someone
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: wearing the same shirt as you.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: Yeah, but yeah, I uh it was I got to
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: nied a raise, which is why everyone thought. That's everyone
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: thought I did it. Oh that's so funny, But it wasn't.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: I ended up getting to denied a raise, and then
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: I got COVID.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: How'd you get? What does that mean? Getting denied?
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: I asked for a raise, I didn't get it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Oh, I thought you meant Oh my god, I heard
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: you wrong. I thought you meant you got denied at raise.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: The bar that like Nicholas Brawn goes oh, like he tried.
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: To get in and they're like, no, man, no no.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: I was like, that's such a saturath. Go to the bar.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: I asked for a rays here and I got denied.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: And then it became like a big public thing and
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: I was getting like publicly shamed. And then I got
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: COVID like the next day, and then I shaved my head.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it was tough. He saw a Dave sex tape
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: and he was like, I don't fucking respect this man
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: and tried to march himTo his office and ask for
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: a raise.
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: It actually wasn't like that at all. He actually like
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: gas led me into thinking what I was asking for
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: was a fine amount. And then Dave was like, that
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: was the most delusional offer I've ever been asked in
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: twenty years.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: He's like, I've been doing this for twenty years. Never
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: in my life has there been an offer.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: He just said it was the crazy things.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so have you gotten to raised yet?
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: I have not.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Should we talk so to Dave?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe you should represent him? Yeah, do you think
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: he could? Yeah?
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Are you a good negotiator?
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: No, that's what you think. And then you see him
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: and you're like, wow, that's scary.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: That's the guy from the tape.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I love your work.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you've seen nothing that he does except with a
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: dog collar.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I'm like, little Sas needs to raise, and in order
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: to do that, he's like, he's like, I'll do it,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: but you have to say. What does he say in
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: the video? Something like daddy? But it's so aggressive, Like.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Oh, I haven't watched in depth like that. I wasn't
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: watching with the SubTime.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: The transcript the screenplay, Yeah, it went perfectly to script. Yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: it's it's an interesting dynamic, but I don't think it's
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: affected that as much as I don't know, you think
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: it would affect way more to have your boss.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: No, he doesn't get anybody. That's why it's not like
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: a big deal.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: That's why I like, I love. I'm obsessed with Karen Fihan.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Yeah she has an only fan yeah yah, yeah, and
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: I'm so obsessed. I think it's so cool. I subscribed
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: to her only fans for a month. You know, I'm
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: not committing that hard to watch born, but it rocks.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: It's so cool to just be like, yeah, I've had
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: sex and you can watch it. Yeah.
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: And she's making like a much money And then she
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: talks about it on stage. Then she said she's like
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: I made like twenty seven thousand dollars, so cool. I
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: was like, holy fuck.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Wait, that's not that much for having for having sex
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: on camera.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: She I don't think she's not having sex on camera.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: She's like making sexy videos of just herself. She'll like
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: be at the gym and the sauna and she'll like
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: lower her her like pants on the back so you
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: can see her butt. And it rocks.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: And so you were you just curious when you subscribed
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: orre you just trying to support the arts.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I'm more curious. But then I was like, she does
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: good work.
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: Hell yeah, that's quite the endorsement.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, But I'm like, that's when I become
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm too awkward. I'm too awkward. I can't
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: do only fans.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I'm too awkward. A lot of women in here have
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: have Yeah, they're doing it now. I have started doing
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: only fans and they're not. No one's getting naked, really.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: Is getting naked. They're scamming.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah I would.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: They're selling a dream.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: Yeah, but it works.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm not mad at people for making money outside
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: of it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: No, I don't give a fuck, especially living in New York.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: I get it. Oh yeah, you have to you have
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: to find something.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: Yeah, have you? Is that like something that's holding you
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: back from moving to New York? Like the like the
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: fact you have to do only fans, the fact that
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: you have to do only fans. Also, like do you
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: have like a nice apartment in l A.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: I have a decent apartment in l A. Yeah. It's
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: definitely like if I moved here, I would be downgrading.
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: Oh big time.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean I don't care. I don't like
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: I don't need my house to be like a you know,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: palace or anything.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: There's a lot of plants.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: No, I'm not good with the plants.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: They die.
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: Yeah, what about with rodents?
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: We don't really have stations.
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: Yeah you will. I know, we got roaded. I wrote it.
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: We have a lot of rodents right now. We had
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: a problem over.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: They're so cute. I saw two tiny little baby rats.
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: Oh gross, you just want to pick them up? Are
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: you sure they weren't mice?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: They might have been mice.
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: Rats are not cute. No one has ever looked at
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: around and like that.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: How big were they?
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: They're tiny?
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: Really, rats are so gross. Their tails are like this thing.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: I also love, like a possums.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Maybe you would like New York.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe you would.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: My mom when she here her first time here, she
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: kept she was so excited to be in the city,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: and she just kept sending photos of rats in the subway,
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: like in the train. She was like, oh my god,
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: second day in New York. Look what I saw.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: A rat robbing someone at gunpoint.
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: The rats are so gross.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Aggressive ass rat. But I can't I mean you guys
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: have mice and you refuse to do anything about it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: It makes me think you.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: In your apartment inside living amongst you.
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: I was there a couple of days ago, or like
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: a week here or so ago. I was in my
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: room and I watched one come into my room and
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: then leave my room with the door closed.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: What if we just found out you're super racist and
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: it's just that you have like a Jewish they.
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: Have a.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: One time I had an Uber driver taking me home
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: and I was living in like not a great area,
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: and the Uber driver was like, yeah, we got to
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: clean up these streets. And I was like, do you
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: mean like lubber wise?
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: And if an Uber driver's racist, they will let you know. Yeah.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: And if an Uber driver is racist, they're an Uber driver.
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Across the board. Same with cab drivers. Cab drivers are
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: going to get it off their chest. It doesn't matter
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: where they fall in the pecking order. There's someone where
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: they're like, you can't go to that area. It's all
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: like this type of people.
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: I an Uber driver like probably like a year ago,
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: but it was in New York and he was telling
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: me that like the day before, like three black kids
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: like threw a brick through his windshield and we're like,
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: and I was like, then you said a bunch of
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: racist shit afterwards, and I'm like, dude, like, there's no
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: way you could ever convince me that that just like
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: that just happened. You definitely did. You definitely were doing
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: something so that you shouldn't have been doing. Yeah, And
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: then they ended up throwing the bluff. You probably deserved it, dude.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: When I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: and I met one of the top ten Uber drivers
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: in the world. They had twenty three thousand trips, they'd
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: been on Uber for nine years, and they had a
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: perfect five star rating. They'd never gotten a single bad,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: fucking a bad rating on all. Just like a minivan.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Oh, I was gonna say, it has to be a minivan.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: A minivan is a good experience. Did he have like
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: lights in it?
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: It wasn't lights, but it was very It was just
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: like he had a couple options of maybe like hard
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: candy or like a couple bottles of water, And he
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: was just very patient with me. I went and I
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: got some donuts and he just sat in the car
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: while I got donuts. It was it was fantastic.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they really like when uber and stuff first started,
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: they really were like here's water, here's candy, and here's gum.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: And now they're like shut the fuck up and jilly asshole.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, they will always give you their smelly asshole. Yeah,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: without fail.
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: It's still so much better than cabs though, like cabs suck.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: No.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: I like cabs, do you think ye? When I'm out here,
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: I love a cab.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: They're cheap. They're cheap, which is nice.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I like us when a cab like takes a corner
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: fast and you just slide the whole way across because
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: there's no partition in the middle. It's just a leather
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: seat just whipping you around like a cocktail shaker back there.
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: I took a cab home from the airport yesterday and
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: it was a really shitty cab. It was hot out
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: and there was no air conditioning.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: Turn on the air sometimes. I think they liked the heat.
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: Yeah, save us money, right, doesn't it? Like doesn't using
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: the AC like use up gas?
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I just drove to North Carolina and back this weekend
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: and the dude driving me was like, yeah, the AC
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: just broke and then.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Uh we took an ubernd No, no, we drove.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I drove and my friend was driving, oh oh oh wow,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: And he said that the air conditioning wasn't working, and
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: then like with one hour left in the drive, he
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: like put up the windows and like the air conditioning
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: was working. It was like, dude, this entire time we
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: were fucking screaming at each other with the window down,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: and the air conditioning actually did work. He's like, yeah,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: it just doesn't work that well. I was like, what
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: the fuck? We're yelling at each other, like putting up
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the windows to talk on the phone, sweating, and just
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: like finally he put it up. He's like, yeah, I'm
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: out of free Once. We could have been comfortable and
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: conversing like normal people.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: So just stop and pick up free On.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I know, I don't even know what Freon was, so
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we had me on that one. It's like, can you
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: just get free On?
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: Like I can't get that anywhere. I just use that
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: in my car, right, you just spray the engine with
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: it or something. You spray it like it's just like.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: A liquid ye port into whatever hole.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: And damn, are you an octagenarian? How do you know that?
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: I'm good I'm good pals with my with my mechanic
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Socco Socco.
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: So we got to bring your car into Socco.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: How do you know what what Socco tell you?
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Socco tells me that I look beautiful. Confidence. Really, you're
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: the most beautiful woman.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: How's your Why damn do you have to get your
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I guess living in l A, you're gonna have to
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: get your car service the decent amount of more than
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: we do. We don't fucking have cars.
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: You don't have cars.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta go every five thousand miles, get the
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: oil changed.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: My problem is I would just get fucking duped by
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: a Saco type character in my life. I just don't
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: know enough. I just don't know enough about fucking cars,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: or that's what I know about it cars.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: When Soco starts working, I go show me and I
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: stand up.
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: That's smart And he.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Has one of those like hot babe photos of like
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: a girl with a car.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: And to me, he just loves you.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: That's awesome.
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: Damn.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I respect that. That's a manly ased thing to do.
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: How long are we in over twenty twenty? All right,
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: we'll wrap it up. Do you have anything you want
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: to plug? Plug? Plug away? Put some plugs in.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Okay, we got a money spending crowd.
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: You telling them to spend money on some ship, They'll
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: fucking throw money around.
