83-Year-Old Fisherman Rescued at Night | Flint News
An 83-year-old fisherman vanished on Tawas Lake after heading out without hearing aids, a phone, or flashlight—his boat even had no lights. Authorities launched a nighttime search, finding him just before midnight tangled in wild rice, calling for help and flickering a lighter for signals. Miraculously unharmed, his ordeal serves as a stark reminder: always pack safety gear when venturing onto the water, especially at night.
