The Joy of Christmas - Luke 1:46-55
In this sermon video, we continue to celebrate Christmas and reflect on why the news of Jesus's birth is really good news. We focused this week on the personal joy we can experience from knowing the good news of the Christmas story. In Luke 1:39-55, Mary gives us a song of praise in response to the the news of Jesus. This teaches us about the work of God not only in her life, but in our lives too.
We learned....
1) God works through those of in humble condition
2) God gives mercy to those who embrace a godly fear
3) God exalts those dependent on him
4) God satisfies those who hunger for him…
