- 0:00Speaker 1: Time now for back to the basics and healthcare with
- 0:02Speaker 1: balance life Chiropractic. Can we have doctor Harley with us,
- 0:04Speaker 1: hey doing doctor Harley.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey John. I mean, I'm definitely a little bummed where
- 0:08Speaker 2: we had the official end of summer in this last
- 0:11Speaker 2: weekend Labor Day.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a I think summer officially ends like later
- 0:15Speaker 1: this month, but it's like the unofficial that it's done.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Right, the first like day of fall is like to
- 0:20Speaker 2: twenty first or the second.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But you ask any kids, summer's over, man, right, school's back,
- 0:27Speaker 1: Summer's over. As the seasons change, this is a time
- 0:31Speaker 1: when people also pretty soon they'll be out there waking leaves.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Hopefully not for a few more weeks on that. But
- 0:36Speaker 1: this is the time of year when people are you know,
- 0:38Speaker 1: wrapping stuff up and doing some yard work and getting things.
- 0:41Speaker 1: But you could you see people that maybe do a
- 0:42Speaker 1: little too much of that, don't you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah. In this time of year, we start prepping for winter.
- 0:47Speaker 2: The weather's getting colder, so we tend to see some
- 0:50Speaker 2: more like you know, getting sick more often again or
- 0:53Speaker 2: just more joint aching as soreness. As that cold weather
- 0:57Speaker 2: moves in, pressure is changing in the amosphere and you're
- 1:01Speaker 2: starting to do more of the outdoor activities, you know,
- 1:04Speaker 2: either harvesting your garden. It's breaking leaves, cleaning up and
- 1:08Speaker 2: getting ready for the cold weather.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Heidi was harvesting tomatoes. Do you like like mini tomatoes?
- 1:14Speaker 2: I would love some.
- 1:15Speaker 1: She has a bunch of I don't know. She planted
- 1:18Speaker 1: two tomato bushes and somehow they became like mega bushes. Nice.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It was crazy, and I'm not a tomato guy, so
- 1:25Speaker 1: I'm like, you're on your own, lady. So she's given
- 1:27Speaker 1: them to everybody as she knows. So now that I
- 1:29Speaker 1: know you like them, she'll be bringing use to tomatoes.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Call into Sunny Radio. The tomatoes.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah, they're the little ones too, the cherry tomatoes or whatever.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And I'm sure they're great. I'm just not a fan
- 1:37Speaker 1: of that kind of thing. But this time of year
- 1:39Speaker 1: is when everybody's doing their harvest right.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Right, and you were getting to the end of the
- 1:42Speaker 2: year too, with like insurance, so deductibles are paid up
- 1:45Speaker 2: or you want to use your insurance benefits. So this
- 1:47Speaker 2: is a great time of year to start with going
- 1:49Speaker 2: to a chiroproctor if you don't currently you want to
- 1:52Speaker 2: get tuned up ready to be able to do all
- 1:55Speaker 2: the outdoor activities you want to do, plus get ready
- 1:56Speaker 2: for winter. If you notice, like your health problems kind
- 1:58Speaker 2: of flare up into the way, time falls a great
- 2:02Speaker 2: time to start working on taking care of your health
- 2:04Speaker 2: and you're getting your body moving better and be able
- 2:07Speaker 2: to get less aches and pains in the winter time
- 2:09Speaker 2: to be able to prep for that, so you're not
- 2:11Speaker 2: having such a horrible winter this year.
- 2:12Speaker 1: She would be less jacked up this winter. Is that
- 2:16Speaker 1: a technical term?
- 2:17Speaker 2: That is a way of saying Ye'll try to say
- 2:19Speaker 2: it nicely.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, it's so much better. No, I, my
- 2:23Speaker 1: wife and I have been coming to balance life chrero practice.
- 2:25Speaker 1: How long we've been coming here. It's been a bit,
- 2:26Speaker 1: isn't it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I think three years now, Yeah, time.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And it has made a huge difference. And then we
- 2:32Speaker 1: were gone like a week ago, and people don't know
- 2:35Speaker 1: that on the radio because we did our show remotely
- 2:37Speaker 1: and nobody knew. But we were out of town and
- 2:40Speaker 1: I was able to record with you. We did a
- 2:42Speaker 1: show with you, but I didn't get to come see you.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And I could tell by the end of that, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: extra week that I didn't come in kind of hobbling
- 2:49Speaker 1: in here, like hey, fix me doc. It makes a
- 2:52Speaker 1: big difference.
- 2:53Speaker 2: When you're used to getting adjusted more on a regular basis.
- 2:56Speaker 2: You know, you start to realize what your body should
- 2:58Speaker 2: feel like when it's in alignment, and then when you
- 3:00Speaker 2: miss an appointment or you're gone for a bit, you
- 3:03Speaker 2: start to really feel that. You're like, oh, yeah, that's
- 3:05Speaker 2: really not what it's supposed to be. So you start
- 3:07Speaker 2: recognizing these problems ahead of time, so then you know, okay,
- 3:10Speaker 2: it's time to get back into the chiropractor.
- 3:12Speaker 1: If somebody listening is going, man, it's been a long
- 3:14Speaker 1: time since I've done anything like that. If they would
- 3:16Speaker 1: like to get their start, I suggest Balance Life Chiropractic.
- 3:19Speaker 1: How do they go to hold of you?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they can give us a call at six year
- 3:22Speaker 2: O five two one five one, save at eight five,
