Rizing Tide w/ Johnny Rizer

On The Verge | An Orioles Prospect Podcast · Aug 24, 2021 · 58m

Zach and Bob welcome Bowie Baysox outfielder Johnny Rizer onto the show to discuss what it is like to be a prospect in the Baltimore Orioles organization in 2021. He talks about what it is like to be promoted mid-season, go through your first real professional slump, and make an amazing catch that doesn't count. After that the guys go over the news that Jahmai Jones has been recalled by the Orioles and end by debating Dan Connolly's article in The Athletic that the Orioles pitching prospects are lacking.
