- 1:30Speaker 3: for personal growth and mental health. Forgiving yourself. We've all
- 1:34Speaker 3: made mistakes, said the wrong thing, or carried guilt longer
- 1:39Speaker 3: than we should. But self forgiveness isn't about forgetting, It's
- 1:44Speaker 3: about healing. Learning and giving yourself the same compassion you'd
- 1:49Speaker 3: offer a friend. So let's talk about why letting go
- 1:53Speaker 3: of self blame might be the most powerful thing you
- 1:57Speaker 3: can do for yourself. But first we have our trivia
- 2:01Speaker 3: question of the day. Are you ready for it? Here
- 2:04Speaker 3: it is which US president served the shortest time in
- 2:09Speaker 3: office before dying. We will have the answer when we
- 2:14Speaker 3: come back.

- 4:07Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:10Speaker 3: The question was which US president served the shortest time
- 4:14Speaker 3: in office before dying. The answer William Henry Harrison. He
- 4:20Speaker 3: served only thirty one days before dying of pneumonia in
- 4:25Speaker 3: eighteen forty one. Yes, William Henry Harrison was the ninth
- 4:30Speaker 3: President of the United States and holds the record for
- 4:33Speaker 3: the shortest presidency, serving just thirty one days. He delivered
- 4:38Speaker 3: the longest inaugural address in history, over eight thousand words,
- 4:43Speaker 3: on a cold, wet day, without wearing a coat or
- 4:47Speaker 3: a hat. Soon after, he developed pneumonia and died, making
- 4:52Speaker 3: him the first US president to die in office. His
- 4:56Speaker 3: death raised important questions about presidential scis session, which weren't
- 5:01Speaker 3: fully clarified until later. William Henry Harrison, Now you know,
- 5:14Speaker 3: forgiving yourself is one of the most powerful acts of
- 5:18Speaker 3: self care, and yet it's often the hardest. We tend
- 5:22Speaker 3: to be our own harshest critics, replaying past mistakes over
- 5:27Speaker 3: and over, punishing ourselves for things we can no longer change.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But the truth is holding on to guilt and shame
- 5:35Speaker 3: doesn't fix the past. It just keeps us stuck in
- 5:39Speaker 3: it self. Forgiveness doesn't mean excusing your actions or pretending
- 5:44Speaker 3: they didn't matter. It means acknowledging what happened, taking responsibility,
- 5:50Speaker 3: and choosing to move forward with compassion. When you forgive yourself,
- 5:56Speaker 3: you give yourself permission to grow. You shift from being
- 6:00Speaker 3: defined by your worst moments to being shaped by how
- 6:04Speaker 3: you rise from them. Everyone makes mistakes. It's part of
- 6:08Speaker 3: being human. What matters most is what you do next.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Letting go of the weight of self blame creates space
- 6:17Speaker 3: for healing, clarity, and confidence, and in that space you'll
- 6:22Speaker 3: find the freedom to become the person you are truly
- 6:26Speaker 3: meant to be. You did the best you could with
- 6:51Speaker 3: what you knew at the time. Don't let new wisdom
- 6:56Speaker 3: lead you to condemn yourself over old struggles. Forgive yourself
- 7:02Speaker 3: and move forward.
