- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Kalimera.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know when this is coming out.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, what's that?
- 0:12[SPEAKER_02]: Kalimera was good morning.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: What does that have to do with saying good morning to people?
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, because I don't know when this is going on and also it's not even morning when we're recording this.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Cali, meira, okay, that's all I know.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how to say.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Cali, Cali, speta might be that sounds wrong.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: Cali, speta?
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: How to say, like, good evening or good afternoon or whatever.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: So what does Cali mean if you just say?
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: I guess good, I don't know, because I'm thinking you guys.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: So if you ask me how you doing, I can just say, Cali?
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yo.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: But if you just want to say, like, hello, just say, yes, us.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sauce.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's yeah, so I think for like chill vibes like if you're talking to a friend But if you're going into a store like to be polite, you say yeah, so I know that Cuz I've been doing my little research.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's not like because you heard somebody locals here And that too, but before I realized when we were coming here, I was like now I don't know how to say anything.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know if you hear a local say the how do you know that's what they're saying?
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Because what else could they say when you go to inside a store other than hello?
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: So you just assume that's what they say.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, and then I looked it up.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: I looked up how to say hello.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: Please, before I go anywhere.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, Caldimeera.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Caldimeera, everybody?
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: But it doesn't really matter.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: ready because we're getting a plane to go back home tomorrow.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: And we had to come on here to update you guys.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: We have so so much to talk about.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: So much.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you are Greek, if you are from Greece, if you live in Greece,
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is for you, because we've got so many, so many impressions, thoughts, opinions, loves.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well also, if you're not going to say, if you want to come here.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: And if you are interested in Greece, yeah, I've been wanting to come to Greece for several years now.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to specifically come to Greece last year, didn't really work out, and yeah, I just have been wanting to come to Greece for a while.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm so, so happy.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say, it was
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly if not better than I thought it was going to be and now Yoni was not you were not so like I don't know I don't like when you say that
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even say that.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: I know it, but to say it.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because it's the truth.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you don't like it.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: That you just, you weren't particularly excited about the Greece trip.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know what?
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Because I've been seeing a lot of photos online from most of the famous island.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Sanctuary.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: Mechanos.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like I see that.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I see so many people there.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so many tours that I've just like.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, I know there's a lot more than just that, but I didn't know too much about the other islands.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know how beautiful and amazing they were, so I'm just thinking, when I think about Greece, you're trying to go somewhere that's very touristy, you get that.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it's not that I never wanted to come to Greece because obviously this is one of those places that I always wanted to go to, but I don't know, I felt like there was some other place I would rather go to first because I was seeing less of it online.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I get that.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: Something about Greece and in those specific areas is that I've seen so many people take the same selfies.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: There, I'm just like, why do I want to go there specifically?
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I know there's many more places about any of this.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know if it's not really a photo thing that like, if somebody takes a photo or if something is like, I go where you're saying, if something is like, very popular, why don't you have to go over there?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: I get that.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's so popular to me off.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: but we didn't go to the popular spot exactly.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like even though we still went to places that are popular, but we didn't go to like the most crazy.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we had a whole episode on Patreon where we went like a deep dive in detail, you know, description, story telling of our time in Athens.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want, like, uh, play by play in detail in person of ours from our time and Athens that we recorded basically, was it the day before we were going to Milo's?
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: We recorded when we were in in, that was the day before we are.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like, yeah, it's a day before we do something.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, if you're curious about that, that is available on Patreon, but we did want to briefly touch on our impression of Athens in a short but sweet way over here.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: Reply.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Because I will say, if I am and when I will be coming back to Greece,
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: a sweet little 24 hours, even 48 hours, maybe.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: One and a half days in Greece.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: That is, sorry, in Athens, I will not say no to.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I will.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: If I want to come, or when I will come back to Greece to visit the Greek islands, right?
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, Greece is a huge country.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's just the mainland, that's a big country.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then there is all the islands.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: If we were to come back, I would come back to visit more islands.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to go to Crete.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I think the biggest Greek island.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: And also just go to a different kind because we were in the cycling islands.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I would want to go to like a different island.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: family of islands that's like further away to just see how different they are.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: But in order to, you know, get there from New York or most places, you have to fly into Athens.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: And most people fly to Athens and then like they don't hang out in Athens.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like a transit hub to go to the islands.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: But if we go, I would want to have at least like one day in Athens to get like one or two
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: you know.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: So that would be a favorite thing.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how I feel about Athens.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I feel like for our first time we had a good amount of time there were there for three full days which I could say was one extra day like a day too long.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like the last day we were like okay we're kind of ready like go.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: But it was also very very hot when we were there.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: It was I think it was like 95 degrees.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's why three days fell a little bit much because it's such a it was very draining yeah exactly because otherwise I think I would I don't think three days is a long time you know yeah because there's also plenty of things that like we obviously didn't get to see but because it was so hard and and quite like uphill like a lot of different areas they were walking in you're walking kind of like uphill
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it kind of got pretty tiring especially like when you're doing you know when you're a tourist is like you're out and about pretty much all day trying to see as much as possible you get up you go here you go there you have lunch you go here you go there you go shopping and do this you do that so it gets pretty time.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: So how do you feel bad since.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: The main thing that I noticed about, I didn't say this in the Patreon episode, but I was really trying to find where, like, what areas, where do people shop here?
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: Jewelry or or new clothes like new brands or whatever here in Athens and not it has to exist I like we just haven't Explore that area.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: We just don't even know where it is because I couldn't find a single event to chop that Sorry someone's calling
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I couldn't find a single vintage shop that was, you know, I loved creative vintage shops, right?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you couldn't find one that was meant because I found a few there were women's vintage shops.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: That was the one that you like a lot.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: Mundo, Mundo and you went to something like that.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: And that one was, you know, that one was really nice.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I couldn't find any shop or any even store and clothing stores really.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't wrong area because I feel like it's possible that and we're not talking like general shopping like Zara or like H&M.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know if that's really shout out, but...
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I just, it's not the type of shopping that Yori is talking about.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's talking about more of like, it'd be like a local designer, like a, like a locally curated, like, cool guy who put together a bunch of, like, cool guy.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yori, you know what I mean?
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's like somebody who's into fashion, who creates a selection of like brands and clothing and stuff.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Where do people drift here?
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to go drift here.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, like the two people that we ran into when we were in syphonyles.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: the other night, literally last night.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: After we had dinner.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: I hate that I'm forgetting the name so fast, but if you got to listening, it was a great talking to you for like an hour.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we literally talked for an hour on the street.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: Um, just standing.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: But they brought up like the area that we didn't really get to go to is the area that a lot of like younger, you know, people hang out for one.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Cause one of the things, one of the things for me was the fact that,
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of just felt that I didn't really see a lot of young people out, I couldn't see like young, you know, like 20-year-olds, 30-year-olds, just like,
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: out like having a coffee, like a lot of people that I saw to me were like older.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, thank you.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like 50s, 60s.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: Is that like an area, like is that just an area thing that I could be?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: It could be like an area thing that we just didn't go.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what I said at first.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: But then what you brought it up that you would only see like the older, Greek guys and women out like just living their normal lives.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, you know, I don't see any, like, juicy young people.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: The only time that I saw young people was when we went to wine is fine, which is a wine bar that everybody told us we got to go to.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we went and had dinner in one of those nights.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: Wine is fine, it was fine.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was good, yeah.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but that was the only time that I was like getting the hang of, or like seeing the, but the, similarly to how we were there visiting, I got the feeling that there was plenty of people that were, you know, also dining at this place that were also visiting.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: So that's really that there was like local young crowd was there.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: because they were saying how most local, I mean, most young people here they'll hang out at each other's houses, or you're not really out as much.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel it's interesting you live here.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: Let us know what's to deal, or is there a specific area, or maybe do we have to go to a college town, like university,
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm talking about like someone who's like 35, like what did they, where did they go?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like what are you doing?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, because we aren't at the, we're not in like the college era anymore.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, where does a 35 year old girl and guy, where would they go hang out in Athens?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: So would love if you're from there, if you're from here, because we're technically sleeping.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, another thing I noticed here and what something that I really loved and appreciated is how kind people are here.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: Very nice people and You know, what kind of like surprisingly, because from outside, like people kind of, they don't come off, like, grief people.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: Don't really come off as approachable to me.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: And everybody's kind of like, I don't know.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: So people aren't necessarily like,
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Smiling or or like inviting looking you know what I mean Like people here kind of have a little bit of like rougher on the edge type of vibe Okay, you know, okay, which I think is like a Mediterranean thing and Like you can you can say maybe like Eastern European thing But then as soon as you like start talking and interacting with them They're super nice super kind the joke.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: They're like
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Lovely and they like are smiling and they're super kind to you.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: There's never been any issue with like us speaking English and even like any sort of older Greek person that you know, I feel like especially in the islands people are Extremely local the people that have all those businesses in their working.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know There was only one time when we're in Sifnos.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean went to this coffee shop
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know what you're about to say.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: And this old man, he was totally fine and normal, but I could tell that he was a little bit more grumpy than, let's say, other people that we've encountered, which is totally fine, obviously.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: But I think he was definitely bothered by the fact that I was taking photos of while we were in the coffee shop.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: Who's that completely understand?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, which like, I understand about the same time it's like, what's the problem, you know, I don't know how doing anything.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think I know what the problem is.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: Chair.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think I know the problem is he was at least like maybe around 75, right?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 75.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe 80.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: He was just, you know, don't understand.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: And he's been around for a long time.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's had that coffee shop for your hunt.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think that coffee shop specifically has been there for three years.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a super old one exactly.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know what day he might have had that day, but here we come.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: taking photos of the spa, you know, like I feel like that place feels like personal because it's family portraits.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so it feels like you're coming into my home, yesterday it is a business.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: But like you're coming in here and taking your, you know, Instagram photos and to him, he don't give a fuck about it.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like he don't care about these little photos and what he'd so he told you he was like, I don't know what he said.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: He said he didn't say anything.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: He just kind of made a noise to like get my attention.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was kind of like,
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was just like, you know what, just being a moment, right?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then I looked at him and then he kind of like said he like lifted his arms to the side and kind of made a face sort of like what are you doing?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: And to someone like that is like, I cannot understand because he probably don't even understand.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean obviously he knows you're taking photos, but it's like, it feels, it feels like what's the word, like intrusive?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: Invasive?
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: in the face of you.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: I just felt like he saw that we were taking photos, like we had taken photos of the space before that one.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe he was kind of like, are you done yet?
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what else are you taking photos?
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I get it.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I get it.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it's always like, it makes me feel so awkward when that happens.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: When someone tells you that.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: When someone tells me that like, if I'm filming something
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a little bit different if you film with the camcorder.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: The camcorder is like I'm coming here and I'm documenting, but you don't know what it's for, you just see me recording.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like that's a real thing though, because then you have some people who I ask, do you mind if I film in here?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, yeah, just tag me.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: depending on what the business is.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's always good to just ask the first.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because then whenever you don't ask when you start filming, you're not really filming like you're not comfortable.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: You're waiting for that moment, like, are they going to say something?
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sure.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: Are they going to say something?
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, boom, they didn't say anything.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can't just film 30 seconds in here, just that will make them feel comfortable that you're not just some creep coming into the store, like, you know, trying to like, I don't know.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think the depends of the place, but yeah, overall it's like everybody's just been so sweet, so nice, unfortunately we couldn't figure out and we couldn't make the
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: which may be very sad because I really wanted to do it and I didn't realize how many listeners we have in Athens.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: And just in Greece overall there's a few people that DM me that are from Africa the name but it's like the second biggest city after Athens.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's like a little bit more north.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that there are a few listeners and people who like, you know, watch our content over there as well.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: So shout out to you guys if you're listening to this, but I just couldn't really swing it especially because we were like in Athens for a few days and then we don't see this or so hot too.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, those heaters were so hot.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: There was no way that we could have done a meetup in a park at everybody's just like sitting in the heat in the afternoon.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was just, it wasn't going to work.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then we went to the same load and then it's sorry, the same reason why we didn't do one in Paris also.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: So we were there doing it like there's no way about to do a meetup in the way.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely not.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, I would definitely say overall Athens, I would, I would love to come back for like a short and sweet, you know, kind of like a past through type of thing.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is that a city I would necessarily come back that I'm like, oh,
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Athens trip yeah, I would say you know if like it was Paris I would love to be in Paris for like three or four days London three or four days like that could be a trip That I could look forward to for that long but if it was to be
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: you know coming to Athens, I would be like, oh yeah, I'll be here for like two days and that's what you got to make up and definitely got to make up for the meetup that we didn't get to do.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean more of like if a trip comes up, yeah, that's what we're like, we're planning we're planning a trip.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, love the city, but we gotta talk about the islands you guys.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the islands is where, well, we should do meals first because we went to meals first.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: We went to meals first.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: I was really, I was really scared about the ferry.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: It was windy, right?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: When we went first or no?
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: It was super chill.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: When was it windy?
- 20:06[SPEAKER_02]: It was windy when we went from Milo's to Cifnos.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: I was, I had been seeing, so my entire algorithm on Instagram had become all about Milo's, Greece, centering, all the, all the places.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: All the different kimonos, Cifnos, Sadie Fos, Pados, Auntie Pados.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like so many islands, it's crazy.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, yeah, I was really scared for the first, uh, very ride from Athens to Milus because I heard it, and I had seen so many videos, people talking about the crazy journey they had and how they got motion sickness, there's people throwing up everywhere, it smells like nests.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, what you didn't see what those videos?
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I thought you meant you didn't see it on our fairie.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, I don't know what that didn't happen.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, I don't know.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was getting a lot of that content and I was very so I like, I ordered before we left New York.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: I ordered like,
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: nausea bands that like wrist bands that are for you know like motion sickness and these like patches that smell like herbal thing to help you with We didn't need any of that like all the all the chips we took were chill you had something we had to put behind our ears Yeah, make sure that's the herbal patch.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean we did all that but I was good
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: We were fine.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I mean, what were your first impression of Milo's, would you say?
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: Especially because as you guys already know, if you don't know by now, I am the researcher, I am the planner, I'm the one that looks into where to go, what to do, what to eat, where to swim, so I was already very much like into all of that,
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: I go in blind because when, well, with me, I go in blind like I just, well, I go in, well, you travel for a very different reasons.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we go together, you've, for the food and stuff, and then me, it's obviously for the photos.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but exploring and I'm saying, like, it's not a, it's not a thing.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, goes in blind as in, like, you go in blind.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: You go in blind.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, but also like you haven't really been looking.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is true, but I'm not talking about necessarily overview like for food things, I mean also it's like what beaches to go to like where is like the the beach for this or the beach for that or like a hike or a view or you know something like that is what I'm saying it's like you kind of go in blind in the sense that in our
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: relationship and also in what I do because I'm you know like making my videos and all that I can't just kind of like you have to do some preparation for that and we've just you know seven years into our relationship we've established that that's just what I do.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah and usually I mean most of the time you don't have to feel like some type of way about it.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Well I feel like some type of
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't think he's that you don't care.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think that you know, I care so much that even if you do some research, I'll be like, not at all leave it to me.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: Even if I do some research, I'd be like, hey, baby, you see, that's why she's going to be like, well, what's wrong?
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, that's, I got something better anyway.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be like, yeah, I don't know about that, but this one's better, trust me.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so anyways, I'm totally fine with the places we go to, I get amazing photos, I'm never, this is just the deal, you know?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because if it's the deal, there's nothing like wrong with it.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes if there's somewhere I would like to go then we just go there too.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes not all the time.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but okay, so Milo's I was gonna say that I felt I want to compare it.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't I don't want to compare Milo's and Cifnose Yeah, I think we just talked about Milo's but we should just talk about Milo's yeah Did it feel like it was did it feel more Greek to you than Athens or it was just Too completely different places
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know, did I feel more Greek to me than Athens?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like, not necessarily.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think now Milos and Stephen Os are going to kind of blend in my mind a little because I'm trying to remember, like, what was the place that we even stayed in Milos?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like the first place, what does it look like?
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: It was the one with the pool.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: The pool.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we didn't have the pool.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: Our neighbors.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: That was Athens.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that was it.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Milos was like the yellow wall, remember?
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: It was a yellow wall and we have to like, oh, yeah, the bags.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: So in meals, we had like this beautiful view.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: There's just views on views like everywhere.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think like when it comes to being on the island in any country for the most part in Europe, you're gonna have like beautiful views as you're driving.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna get like crazy sort of like mountainous, sorely, worldly roads that give me vertigo that I just can't look out
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know that was a real thing for you.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: I, since my Yorker, it was the first time that I noticed that I just can't look at the window when we're driving on these separate roads and I feel vertigo, I feel like I'm going to fall out of the car.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: I can't explain it to you at all, but I can't look at a nice view when we're driving.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: I have to look at the road.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: All those times when you were saying that in my workout, I thought you were just trying to be cute.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, okay, I can't look at that when they were scared.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: I thought you were doing magic.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: I physically felt like uncomfortable.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I kept saying, like, be a picture because I can't take a picture.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: I could not.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: I could not take a picture.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: I literally have to take a picture without looking at the phone.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's all those photos came out bad.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I would say my Erica was worse.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like probably the worst nothing's topped it yet.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: But driving a few of the roads here, especially in Cifnos, because I think the mountain is like a bit more intense than, you know.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's so fun driving on those small last roads.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can always enjoy it.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: You can always tell who's a local and who's not.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: Just by the way, they drive.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: But okay, so now that we're talking about the islands.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: I would say meals and meals to really blend in my mind for so yeah Meals I will say I Would definitely want to come back
- 26:51[SPEAKER_02]: because we've, I feel like we've barely even saw much of the island.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: We only explored like the main sort of most populated area that is close to the port and you kind of go up like north but you stay on the east side.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: So we went to all the like popular, you know beaches
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: Satakiniki, Satakiniki, B- That one, it took me a long time to finally get in the water.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: We need to talk about you and your journey with swimming, because not a lot of people know this thing about you.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: That is a kind of a surprising thing.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like if you know Yoni after, if you've been watching our content, if you've been listening to the podcast especially, I think you have a certain impression or some idea of Yoni, that he's a very capable person when it comes to physical activities.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm such a good swimmer.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, wait, you're saying that you are or you're saying people would think that about you.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: So basically, yeah, I mean, basically what you're trying to say and tell the people, yeah, that he own is not the best swimmer.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I always think that comes off as surprising thing because I myself was surprised of how bad you were ever.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't bad.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't bad.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't grow up.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't say you couldn't swim.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: I just said you're a bad swimmer.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: You think I'm a bad swimmer?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think when I got more comfortable.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_02]: You got better, but the first day of you swimming.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: When was that?
- 28:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the first day of you swimming was at the sunset.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was like our first day in Milo's.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: We got there in the afternoon and we went to this beach and we watched the sunset.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: We got in the water.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: But they're like the whole time you were touching.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it wasn't deep at all.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I could tell from then that you weren't like the most comfortable swimming.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, I'm not going to try to fight it, like, you know, this is not something that I feel like and embarrassed about, okay, like I'm not the best swim.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I'll tell you that right now.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, I just feel like, but I thought I knew everything about you and I'm still discovering more.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, because usually when it comes to support, somehow I know how to play a little bit at least of each sport.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's true.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like hockey, hockey, medal, ice skating, skiing, volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, ping pong.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like I can play a little bit.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: Some better than others, but swimming when it comes to anything that, it's like an out of body.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: Not a what do you call that like?
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, anything, it's just like not on on on solid ground.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: You get the little ratio for me.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: So what else could it be, just swimming?
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: Jumping out of a plate.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would never do that.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: See, I'm a person, I just like the ground.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: I just like to feel safe and be like, you know what?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing will go wrong.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: Cause here also too, sometimes it's like, I'm not much as swimming anywhere just like a lot of waves, like crazy waves.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing it.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Right except there was one day when it was really windy and I was self was getting a bit scared by the waves just because I got comfortable.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like Like I don't hang out in waves where I'm already quite deep in the or like the water's quite high and then there's waves.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but what did I do that day?
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: that day.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: So that was a few days later after Yoni got more comfortable.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: Tell what people this part.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying this wrong.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying Kiki.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: When we went to the moon beach Yoni, I think that's when he really, you really got over your like things.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's all the mind thing.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like I can swim.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, listen to the podcast.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Yoni, kiss
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that you can't swim, is that you're not a very efficient swimmer.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like you have a hard time, you had a hard time even sort of like treading water.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know what it is for me, which I mean, is that I waste a lot of energy.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like I don't know.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to swim and not waste a lot of energy.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like you only feels like he can't, like he's not floating.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: No, if I'm in the water for 15 minutes, I want to get out because I'm just tired.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: The swimming swimming should feel effortless.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: And you're not even swimming, like we're talking about your staying above water.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Just standing above water, not standing, but just like, you know, staying in one spot.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: I see some people, they just chill, they have a conversation.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: If they could, they would have a meal.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: And have a wine, you know?
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: Me?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: if you can see me on the one you're I'm working out yeah and it's crazy like the way that I was trying to figure out like okay let me look at what is your leg pattern you know what is your arm pattern and you're just doing some shit I am working on the water nobody knows you can see you can tell you can tell you can tell anyway so what I need to figure out is how to
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now, not waste so much energy.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: I can just use the water with the gear now fighting against water.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: You should be using the water.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fighting against water.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: In my hand, I'm taking is the water.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: The water is against me.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: The water is pulling me down.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: Which it's not like that at all.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, you have to work with it.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: I know how to swim backwards really well But yeah, that's the thing.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's any professional swimmers out there listen into this First of all, shout out to you guys because swimming is not an easy thing for me.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: I tired as fuck Yeah, like I don't know that's what that's what I don't really love swimming that much because I just get tired
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's crazy because we're talking.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: We're not even swimming, but you get tired of just trying to keep yourself above water You haven't swim.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I read a swim and move forward and just stand That's crazy.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's more effort to me.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: That is so funny.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Do you speak because of how tall I am not because it's not How tall is Michael Phillips like he's tall big legs or long arms like
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's pretty tall I think, but it's what's funny to me is the fact that the fact that Yoni was under the impression that I didn't know how to swim Like for the longest time he used to always bring up and make fun of me and be like You can't swim like what like well, where did that come from and then I think this trip is the first time that you were kind of like surprised The fact that I like I can actually swim.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're in the water.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was just like oh shit.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: Look my baby Like I'm good.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think I look like a mermaid
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like it's I'm chill and like it's not and I don't give you wrong.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a good swimmer Not somebody you're not a good swimmer at all.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like you're not a good swimmer.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you don't have to get back if you don't Just because I said you're a bad swimmer.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but so if there's anybody honestly, I know I can watch you two videos about it But you only loves to just talk to you guys and say if there's anybody who is doing this Yeah, if there's anybody out there who can give me any type of tips
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think you just gotta swim with.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, go to YouTube, my brother.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, what are you gonna do to the screen?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: Give you some comments, like.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know what it is.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: I just waste a lot of energy swimming.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think I just need to relax.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: I move way too much.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need to do all that.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I need to do all that stay above water.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it's actually funny when I think about it, but hey, it's funny the way that it looks, but I will tell you that it across this whole trip of like a week and a half almost of swimming so much, you have gotten better every single day.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: You show much, give me some.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you got more comfortable with like floating on your back.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was swimming with the waves that day.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was one day exactly where we went to this beach and it was a windy day because we don't know in Greece, especially in the island area that we were in.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: They have this northern wind that comes in called the meld demi, I think.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: And the winds are pretty
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I was very surprised when we went to the beach and the waves were like, you know, really come in, getting pretty big and you were in there.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: You were in there, you were having good time, you were like getting into the waves, you're floating, letting the waves take you crushing over your head, all that.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: You were having a good time and I was like, I wasn't having it because I was, I don't know, I was like, kind of feeling very well.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was the first day of my period.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: I was kind of like, I can't deal with this right now.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just wanted to chill.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_00]: I won't point you say you were scared that I wouldn't come back.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and I didn't like the fact that because you weren't like you're not, you're just now getting more comfortable with swimming.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel comfortable with the fact that you kept going so deep in the water where it was quite high.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: That I just felt like I didn't have the confidence that you were strong enough of a swimmer to be that far away.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, I think I received that and I appreciate it.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know so that's why I kept telling you I'm like can you just not go so far away because also I can't do anything
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like you can come save me.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like if for some reason you start like swallowing a lot of water, it's very easy to panic in water and that's the thing like you're just now getting comfortable.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: So if something were to happen and the current gets you and then you start panicking, that's the worst thing they can do and then you can't come back.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing about like the, that's how water is so scary to me.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: But there's also no lifeguards like here in your own out there it's not like those types of beaches in the US most beaches will have lifeguards And they're very like you can swim in this area, but you can't swim in this other area Like they're very sort of washing that way, but it does kind of seem like the beaches here are you know, you're out on your own you're doing your own thing
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: If something happens to you, it's like nobody's here.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like if you go swimming by yourself and something happens to you, it's like, yeah.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: We literally just saw, today, before we came back to Athens, we went to visit this little monastery in Cephanos.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: And there were these like three people or four people that were swimming in this area that just did not seem like you could even Care like safely make your way down there, but then as we walked, I saw that it was kind of like a very steep sort of like walking just like the edge of the edge of the island.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like the edge of the island, but it's not as big as the rocks.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's exactly like the rocks you have to climb the rocks to get out of the water.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it just kind of seemed like pretty remote to be doing that.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a very windy day.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: But the side that they were on was like protected from the wind, so it was quite calm.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it looks really lovely from the from where we were like seeing them swimming and stuff the water just looks so appetizing like I've never seen water like I've like the water and grease see that's my thing in my life I didn't I wasn't around the water well They did where did you learn how to swim
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: Greece.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: Are you serious?
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to assume like in Belgium it's to go to a lot of like pool classes.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not pool classes just like outdoors which I don't think is a thing in the US but there's not a lot of outdoors like public pools yeah but in Antwerp there's there's quite a few.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And when I say outdoor, they don't necessarily have to be outdoors.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: They're just like in a gym, in a big... Yeah, yeah, yeah, like a public... Yeah.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: In our menu, we had that, too.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, pools are my safe, my safe, uh...
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: But what you kept saying is that you feel like the, the, the, what we were in the water, most of the beaches on all these islands, not all, but a lot of them are kind of tucked away in bays.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: which are basically kind of like more enclosed.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I just like open huge, big, long.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, what it called, beaches that are just like going for, you know, quite a few miles endlessly.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like the, the black sea in Romania is like that.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: Where like the coast is just open and it just keeps going and going and going.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of the beaches here.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: They're kind of like a little, a little crescent.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_02]: of a beach and they have a lot of like mountains on one side and the other and the beach itself is quite small.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: Crescent.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like a like a semicircle.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: Does that come from a closet?
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, probably.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: And because of that, the wind, even if it's like very windy and because of like this summer wind that they get here, it's protected by the wind and the currents.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: Which I think is what you were saying that it does feel like you're swimming in a pool because there aren't a lot of waves and you get to just really the chill and relax.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: The first time when swimming the first and second time in Milo's it was.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: It was just so peaceful.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: You don't like the water was not aggressive.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it felt so good.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: The water's cleared.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: I can see my feet on the water.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually insane how clear it is.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was amazing.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the swimming portion of this episode.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to ask you what was something that you were really surprised about in Milo's or Cefnose.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: Something that you didn't expect.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: I would see Mueller's, I was kind of surprised that it was what?
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: I got one, but I mean, go ahead.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Are you going to forget it?
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: There's no one else.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: I was surprised by kind of how like wild the island was, and it's written by wild.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: Wild in the sense that it was like, it wasn't as picture perfect as maybe I expected it.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: Which I liked, like it was a little bit like, you know, when you're in the towns, it's like, it's dusty, like the grocery stores are sort of like, very classic, no frills tap with thing, even like the restaurants, a lot of the food places were just like super chill.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to remember like where we ate when we were.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: were you surprised by the waiters like how if they forgot something this what I loved if they forget something they would come back to the table and be like what else did you order like there is no when you compare that to America it's like a very it's almost like automatic
- 42:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what do you mean, you forgot what I said?
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: That would be like in the US, that would be a thing.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: As a server, you would try so hard to figure out what it is that they ordered before you actually went and asked again, I'm so sorry.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: What did, what, what drinks did you guys get?
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: But here, yeah.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: He would just come back and just, like, really, I mean, there is no.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's just very different, like they're very chill.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I like it because you can tell that the server's here and the waiters, they're really themselves.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like there is no, I'm going to memorize this menu.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I get to the table, I'm just going to run the whole thing down when they ask me like, hey, so what's, what do you recommend?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then you know how you know, America feels very like automatic.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: And you know some of the places that we went and we're kind of like that.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't like that.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like what I'm saying it's like here.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_02]: We went to one restaurant when we're in stiffness That was a restaurant that a lot of people were telling me in in my DMs to go to and it was like the most is pointing one out of all of them It is because one it was more expensive to the food was not Greek food like so much of the stuff that was on there was very like modern like had nothing to do with like Sydney and food and
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: and it was like it kind of just almost didn't have a place or it didn't feel like it belonged in my opinion.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: Which one was that?
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: The place where I also felt really sick.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: The one by the name.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: Eight to much.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Alie.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna tell that story later.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, one of the things that I, that stood out to me.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what did you find surprising?
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I didn't finish that thought.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: But what I meant to say is like, I didn't, I didn't, I expected it to be a bit more like, you know, in my Yorker, everything was so, like, the little towns were so cute.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: And then you had like wilderness.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it was very nice.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_02]: And then you had little cute towns.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: And then you had like the cute towns.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_02]: We're very cute and sort of like picture perfect.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: The most out of exactly.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_02]: They were like picture perfect out of um.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_02]: um, out of a postcard, you know, with all the cobblestones and everything was so beautiful and I don't know why I kind of expected that to be on the Greek islands, but then in meal.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really expect that.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I didn't necessarily put that in my head, but I was a little bit surprised, but it's not something that bothered me in any way.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: I actually kind of liked the fact that it was kind of just like,
- 44:51[SPEAKER_02]: you know it's it is what it is the face you made my face right now okay that's you know what I mean I know what you mean like I'm not I I hope this doesn't come off negative in any way No it's not because it's like I don't mean it that way but I just liked how everything was just kind of like This is what we got you know we got this door we got this door we got this place and then you're here to just be in
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: I barely wore socks, this troopers felt amazing.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, wearing socks while you're on the strips, kind of crazy.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like I almost didn't want to pack anything.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so what I noticed?
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got it.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: in the island specifically is actually the whole time we're in the islands, I've saw one black person.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: This one.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_02]: It was just one.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe two.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe two.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know why it was such a surprise to me, but it's like, because usually you would always like, any country you go to, even if it's in, obviously in Europe, whatever.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: in Belgium, Germany, like London, UK, France, there's a lot of black people there, you know.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: But in, I've never meant to Italy so I don't know how it's there in Portugal.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: I saw a lot of black people.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: But in, yeah, and also in Spain, but in here,
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: Grease I haven't seen well actually in Athens there are some.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes in plenty, but on the islands not really I would say plenty in Athens We saw I would be like five Well to me that's plenty compared to one.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that's a true.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: I guess that's not plenty okay Yeah, I don't know.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's just this is just not an area where Black people are Africans come
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: come like live I guess but then also I think for me I was like there was just like also visiting.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: I was saying general like any other like even diversity in tourism.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like the people that clear like when you're on a ferry, when you're on the ferry,
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: that were not white.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: That to me was surprising, because I'm thinking like Greece is such a destination.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_02]: But I would say for the most part, like the language that I did here, if it was English, it was Australian.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: Or French.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of French people and a lot of Australians here.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's a big activity for, you know, people who are, I guess, French or, but I just don't know why, I don't know.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why, but I was very, and what, how did that make you feel?
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say what that part.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: How do I make me feel our first time by kept staring at me?
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: This whole two weeks, everybody was staring at me.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: Which I really found really odd because...
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: Which, which I, it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if anything, I don't want to say I liked it.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: But they were looking at me in a way.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, sometimes I feel like they were thinking of someone else or maybe they're looking at me like, oh, look at these guys here or like he's so, because I stand out already because I'm tall.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: So if I'm the only tall guy here, the only black guy here, you know, like obviously I'm going to stand out.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: So, and I'm talking about like families who is like the dad who look at me, the mom,
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable when that happens.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: If they look at me in a certain way, then it can be a little like, I also want to look back at them and be like, hey, do you want to say something or if I'm drinking something, I want to be like, do you want to sip, do you want to donate?
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's weird.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: I would never look up people like that.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is like when they look a lot too.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's different when you, it's a quick glance, right?
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: But they would like, turn their next, turn their as if I'm, as if I'm like, LeBron James, machine.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, yeah, it happened quite a lot.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: I do think that you then started to kind of get in your head.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying that people weren't looking at you more than normal.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: But I also think you became kind of like hyperly aware about it as well, and then it kind of felt like everywhere you went, everybody was looking at you like a lot.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think it's kind of funny about the same time if I'm having let's say if I'm having a bad day.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if I'm not feeling good and I'm having a bit, you know how some days you just don't, you didn't just not having it.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like when you're in Greece, you're probably having it.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I was having a great time every day.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I was just like, well, can you want to look at me?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy, right?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: But if I was just like not having a good day, and I was just like, grumpy and someone stairs at me for a long time, I would literally say something to you.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: I would be like, can I help you, sir?
- 50:13[SPEAKER_00]: But that's a very, like, they'll be so shook, but I don't think I know.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: with that, I don't know if that's ever even happened to be honest to me, yeah, that you did that.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, because I don't care.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I don't think you ever go into that level.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's like you want to look at me, well, you know, if anything, I take that as a compliment.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think you should.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: You want to look at me, go ahead and enjoy.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know what you're gonna do.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't, I don't dress in the way that will attract looks.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's just kind of crazy when somebody is like so blatantly just like,
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: So many times.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: I remember the other day when we were sitting at a table and there was a couple sitting like at the table next to us And the girl was like on my side and she kept like I couldn't even see her because I could see her like with the corner of my eye That she kept looking at you
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, maybe she thought I was handsome.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, maybe that's what she thought.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: But then again, like, why are you looking at me?
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: You husband is right there.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: But then she also just had such a, she had a very specific demeanor about her that.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: What does that mean?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of like, hmm.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: To me.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: to judge, he has something like that.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: You can judge, I don't care.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even looking at her.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: She's looking at me.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even worried about her.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: I know, but when you keep seeing a pair of eyes, like looking at you, you can't not look at her.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Can I just say something real quick?
- 51:36[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you're somebody who stares at people like that.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, actually, let me reverse it.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm walking around.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just doing me.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm walking around with you.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: We're having a good time here.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_00]: And if someone chooses to stare at me or look at me at a long, for a long time, or even if they are judging me, for one, I have no, I don't know what they're thinking in their head.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: It could be anything.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: It could be admiration, it could be hate, it could be racism, it could be so many things, right?
- 52:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I, I don't know, I have nothing to do with that person.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: So like, I'm not, when you say I'm getting in my head about it, it's, it's like, you don't let it get that deep.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's never that deep to me.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: Never.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you like say something to me.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that then makes it clear.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: Then we're going to address it and always with with with with with kindness, right?
- 52:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to look at you like, hey, do I know you?
- 52:31[SPEAKER_00]: Is there a problem or can I help you?
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I don't know you like there's not there's nothing this is I don't know.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, um, so that never bothers me and and if you want to stare then just enjoy at least I hope you join it.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, but Well, one thing that we have to talk about is our guy Freddo.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: Do what?
- 52:53[SPEAKER_02]: Our guy Fredo, Fredo is present Fredo cup of tea.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you say our guy.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, because I kind of... Fredo, I was... What did you meet that's Fredo?
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: I was trying to make it cute, we didn't catch on.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: And we got to talk about that, but because I am going to miss it so much.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I wonder if we can get one tomorrow at the airport.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think... Because that would hit.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: At the airport, I don't trust it.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: Did you ever get a good one at the airport?
- 53:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've never had one sit until we came here.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't know, a Fredo Capuccino and a Fredo Espresso.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_02]: Those are very Greek.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: Fredo Espresso.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: Drinks.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_02]: They're basically cold.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: Cold espresso cold kept you know, but you have to you have to try it really And I say because what I'm just explaining you're thinking like what is this?
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's basically a shaking espresso with a little bit of sugar You can get it with no sugar, but I do think you need to get a little bit of sugarness some Metrio which is medium level and Yeah, it's delicious.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's the best thing ever.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna try to recreate it as soon as we get home
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I'm going to be able to recreate a photo cup, but you know, because that one you have to figure out how to, like, froth the milk without heating it up.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, and it becomes so, like, creamy, silky.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of crazy.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm sure people have recreated it all morning.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: I took so many photos of each one.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've had not two a day, about these ones today almost.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, you definitely had one every single day.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was harder to find them in Cifnos, I will say, and I think we're going to do a Patreon episode after this, where we're going to do a nice little comparison between Milos and Cifnos.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a great idea because I was just going to get into something about CIFNOS and also by the way, it's a CIFNOS.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's CIFNOS.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: You got to drag the eye, so say with me CIFNOS.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's what they say, they definitely don't say CIFNOS.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, I heard somebody on the phone and they were speaking Greek and she was like, something something CIFNOS.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, okay.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, oh, shit.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_00]: I never say like that.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Sifnos was interesting to me.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: Also because, oh, so there was one guy, one black guy that had locks.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: They had dreadlocks.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: And he's safe now.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: And he's safe now, yeah, but he's the only one there.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: And each, I saw him twice after that.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was an neighborhood.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he wasn't our neighborhood now.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh, there was my guy right there.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_00]: And when I walked past him for the first time, he, uh, he didn't dab me up, but we, we greeted each other like, like, pretty aggressively.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I see you when you see him.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: But he said, he said, uh, just something about like, my hair, like, and he said, roster something.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, you know, I'm not Jamaican, but I don't think he necessarily thought you were.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_00]: I should have been like, walk one.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: What does that mean?
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: That mean like what's going on?
- 56:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he's saying.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_00]: He should be like, walk one.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: Anyways, but yeah, he was cool, but I was the only one.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: I only saw him once and I was like, you know, it was just outside here, man.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: It was just us, too.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: Imagine how he feels if he actually lives there.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 56:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's nothing, there's nothing, there's nothing, there's no feeling that you feel.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's just this, what it is.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, of course it is what it is, but I'm saying.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: Because like, when I walk around the world, like, everybody is just human.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: There is no, I'm walking around and I'm black.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: Or like, and I'm like, a different scape color than everyone else.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm just like, to my eyes, I just see the world just like you do.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: I totally understand that.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: I do feel like there is a experience that one can only understand if they are from that place.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm saying like if he is the only
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: Jamaican black man and ciffinose.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: That is like a local.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: You definitely know that.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: Then I feel like he would probably be quite, you know, excited.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's it was like another person.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I get it.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like if I was him, I would be excited that I am the only one.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_00]: Here.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's quote unquote, you know, different things color or whatever he came like culture back.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not really thinking talking about race.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like that.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: What is obviously like evident.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: I meant also more like, I don't know where he's from.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but when you finally see another black person, that's what he greeted me like that.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, was this something else you were saying in boss defense?
- 58:06[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, no, that's say, I think the rest will be saved for the comparison.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: Is that what we don't have a question?
- 58:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, would you want to do that?
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: I would want to do that because I have a few thoughts, a few things that I want to say.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I will say this here now.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: Grease has been so beautiful Amazing, such an experience from the food To and we have like so much food.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's so much food.

- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: Some of those days.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like I was like in That was like on another planet
- 58:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, you're true, you feel like that.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, such a magical place, and I am so grateful that we came and we got to experience this.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_00]: The money heroes we had.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: We actually, I am so surprised because at first I was like, I don't want to eat heroes like for every single meal, blah, blah, blah, blah, and I feel like it's a, it's
- 59:22[SPEAKER_00]: We only had one bad one.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: We only had one bad one.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: Which was now this fall.
