- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game dey View is a production of the NFL
- 0:06Speaker 1: in partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody Welcome to Game Debut, presented by Mercedes Ben Patrick
- 0:15Speaker 2: playboun here with dear friends Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland.
- 0:18Speaker 2: If you watch it so last week and kept track
- 0:20Speaker 2: of all the picture, we're like, hey, this wasn't necessarily
- 0:23Speaker 2: a good week. But let me tell you, Cynthia, it
- 0:26Speaker 2: was a great week.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Do you know why.
- 0:29Speaker 2: No, that's because let's check out the pickstandings. The crown
- 0:33Speaker 2: is off of Greg's head and it goes on Cynthia
- 0:36Speaker 2: as the leader at twenty seven and twenty one.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Greg sniped you at the beginning of the show last week.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I want to start with you, Cynthia, how do you feel?
- 0:45Speaker 4: I would just like to thank everyone who made this possible,
- 0:48Speaker 4: all the teams that won, not any of you teams
- 0:50Speaker 4: that lost. But here's I'm going to say. We've been
- 0:52Speaker 4: doing for six seasons. Now I want a real crown
- 0:55Speaker 4: because for the seasons that we didn't have it, there
- 0:58Speaker 4: was no little tiny digital crown.
- 1:00Speaker 5: So, oh my gosh, this is preposterous thought preposterous since
- 1:05Speaker 5: oh may the.
- 1:05Speaker 6: Best I mean, the one thing Patrick, you know could have.
- 1:08Speaker 4: This looks great.
- 1:08Speaker 5: This is the first time anyone else has led since
- 1:10Speaker 5: Week thirteen of twenty twenty two, and now the real
- 1:14Speaker 5: crown comes out.
- 1:14Speaker 6: For years, I.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Was in little need and we didn't even have that
- 1:17Speaker 4: little tiny digital one that the smacks on your little
- 1:20Speaker 4: like stout, little fit need that little face did you.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Make, Greg, Greg's already the crown has taken hold. He's
- 1:25Speaker 3: already living in the past. Speaking of going back in Tom,
- 1:28Speaker 3: let's go in Doc rounds to Laurion.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Go back to twenty eighteen, the seventh pick in the draft,
- 1:33Speaker 2: the Bills took a gunslinger out of Wyoming named Josh Allen.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Later that same night, Ozzy knew him, and the Ravens
- 1:38Speaker 2: traded back into the first round with the final pick
- 1:41Speaker 2: of Night one to take a kid from Louisville named
- 1:44Speaker 2: Lamar Jackson.
- 1:45Speaker 3: The rest is history.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Both of these gentlemen now very very good quarterbacks. As
- 1:50Speaker 2: we fast forward to twenty twenty four, two of the
- 1:52Speaker 2: best in the entire game, the two squaring off Sunday
- 1:55Speaker 2: night in Baltimore, Buffalo is still undefeated.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Will it remain that way?
- 1:59Speaker 4: Cynthia just barely per my mouth twenty four to twenty
- 2:03Speaker 4: three is my final projected score. But I want to
- 2:06Speaker 4: point out something about that high flute and root and
- 2:08Speaker 4: tootin Son of a Gun from ol Wyoming. That would
- 2:10Speaker 4: be Josh Allen. That's their fight song in case you
- 2:12Speaker 4: hadn't heard it. He's really great at throwing to the slot.
- 2:15Speaker 4: He has a one point oh two EPA when targeting
- 2:18Speaker 4: slot players twenty three twenty six four touchdowns two hundred
- 2:21Speaker 4: and forty one yards. You know who's really good in
- 2:23Speaker 4: the slot besides Kueiosha Kir who dont k kid. So
- 2:28Speaker 4: that's why when you see these yak the ability to
- 2:30Speaker 4: run after the catch, which is something that Baltimore has
- 2:33Speaker 4: given up, especially to such catches, sixty two percent rate
- 2:36Speaker 4: on those slot catches. That is going to be a
- 2:40Speaker 4: problem for the rape.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Yes, she's just got a little extra verve now with
- 2:44Speaker 5: that crown on, I don't like it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Well, it's it's hard, it looks really it's a really
- 2:48Speaker 2: good looking crown. It works out, and I don't think
- 2:51Speaker 2: this game works out for the Baltimore Ravens.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I know I'm gold.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Bills by two points.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yes, And you can say, well, Patrick, the last time
- 2:57Speaker 2: you did this.
- 2:58Speaker 3: The Ravens gotta win in.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe we're trying that again, but honest, honestly, I
- 3:05Speaker 2: think it is a loss at home for Baltimore, Tyler
- 3:07Speaker 2: bassfield goal being the difference because my concerns about that
- 3:10Speaker 2: defense weren't exactly alleviated last week watching the Cowboys go
- 3:14Speaker 2: up and down the field in the second half, and
- 3:17Speaker 2: now it's time to deal with Josh Allen who he
- 3:19Speaker 2: can still make plays like this. It's not all safety, Josh.
- 3:22Speaker 2: He can make runs to the outside. At some point
- 3:25Speaker 2: he's gonna throw a pump fake Ravens defender is gonna
- 3:27Speaker 2: jump with nobody behind him, and Josh Allen is gonna
- 3:29Speaker 2: have a crucial run for a first down. I've just
- 3:31Speaker 2: seen it too many times. I am taking Buffalo to
- 3:33Speaker 2: win this bar too.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Okay, so this is only the second time on Gating
- 3:36Speaker 5: game debut history that Patrick has gone against his Ravens.
- 3:39Speaker 6: I love that.
- 3:40Speaker 5: I'm getting a just greg on the Ravens winning at
- 3:44Speaker 5: home twenty seven to twenty six. So they've thread the
- 3:46Speaker 5: needle and these are two great teams. I have the
- 3:47Speaker 5: Bills winning the super Bowl, but not this week, and
- 3:49Speaker 5: it's partly because of the Ravens defense. The Ravens are
- 3:52Speaker 5: doing that thing again, and you say.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Well, well, what is that thing?
- 3:56Speaker 5: It's not just their running game, it's their defense getting
- 3:59Speaker 5: better bit by bit as the season goes along.
- 4:02Speaker 6: That's good coaching, that's good.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Developed and that's players like Travis Jones improving each and
- 4:07Speaker 5: every year.
- 4:08Speaker 6: He's been outstanding this season.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Nomde Madamweke also playing very well, Kyle van Ney, Michael Pierce.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Every week. I just see this group coalesce. They understand
- 4:18Speaker 5: what they're asked to do. In Zach Orr's defense, the
- 4:20Speaker 5: Bills have not played a defense nearly this good this season.
- 4:24Speaker 5: I think the Ravens need this game more and so, yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 5: I'm thread of the needle. It's a close game, but
- 4:28Speaker 5: the Ravens get the win at home.
- 4:29Speaker 2: All right, Let's go back into the numbers and do
- 4:31Speaker 2: some maths. Cynthia will Lamar Jackson throw for over two
- 4:35Speaker 2: hundred and three yards on Sunday night?
- 4:37Speaker 4: Oh yeah, buddy, yes he will. Why because we've seen
- 4:40Speaker 4: a lot of problems with his O line. They're shuffling
- 4:42Speaker 4: the deck. There three new offensive linemen this season. That's
- 4:45Speaker 4: an issue. And you know how you overcome that issue.
- 4:47Speaker 4: You throw quick passes. Quick passes, get guys open in space,
- 4:51Speaker 4: take advantage of the fact that on that Bill's defense
- 4:53Speaker 4: there are a bunch of missing pieces that no one
- 4:55Speaker 4: has really made him pay for yet. So you're going
- 4:58Speaker 4: to see a lot of spine of the defense targeting
- 5:00Speaker 4: kind of that middle area with quick passes. So yes,
- 5:03Speaker 4: it is only two three, So yes, all.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Right, we're gonna find out a lot about both teams.
- 5:07Speaker 2: The Bills undefeated. Now let's go to another undefeated team,
- 5:09Speaker 2: the Seattle Seahawks. Seahawks with a tough matchup in Motown.
- 5:13Speaker 2: The Seahawks and Lions had an epic game last season.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Gino and golf exploded for seven hundred, almost seven hundred
- 5:19Speaker 2: passing yards between the two. Game went to ot where
- 5:21Speaker 2: Gino found Tyler Lockett for this six yard walk golf touchdown.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Hawks won it thirty seven to thirty one, setting up
- 5:29Speaker 2: a special game debut matchup. As we get the rematch,
- 5:33Speaker 2: Greg's undying love for Eugene Cervill Smith against Cynthia's Lyons.
- 5:37Speaker 3: What do you see happening? Greg?
- 5:39Speaker 5: I gotta go with my man Gino in this one.
- 5:41Speaker 5: I went back and forth. Actually all week. I had
- 5:43Speaker 5: the Lions at first, but Gino Smith is the quarterback
- 5:46Speaker 5: that I'm more afraid because he's so good targeting man coverage.
- 5:49Speaker 5: What team loves to play man coverage on defense more
- 5:51Speaker 5: than almost anyone else, It's the Detroit Lions. What wide
- 5:55Speaker 5: receivers are ready to beat any man coverage you throw
- 5:57Speaker 5: out him, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jackson Smith and Jigba.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Gino Smith is throwing for over a seventy percent completion
- 6:05Speaker 5: percentage into man coverage this season, and this is just
- 6:08Speaker 5: a matchup he owns. People don't know of it as
- 6:10Speaker 5: a rivalry, but Gino Smith owns Dan Campbell. He's won
- 6:14Speaker 5: in two shootouts back to back seasons. Jared Goff, Dan Campbell.
- 6:17Speaker 5: They just can't beat Geno Smith. They're not going to
- 6:19Speaker 5: do it this week either.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I agree Greg.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I've got a twenty one to twenty road upset for
- 6:24Speaker 2: Gino and the Seahawks. I've loved the score fests between
- 6:27Speaker 2: these two teams, not just last year, in the past
- 6:29Speaker 2: couple of years as well. I do think this one
- 6:31Speaker 2: is a little bit different. Greg mentioned the matchup between
- 6:34Speaker 2: coach and the player. I'm looking back last year. At
- 6:38Speaker 2: this coach player matchup, it's coach McDonald's Baltimore Ravens defense
- 6:42Speaker 2: against Jared Golf. The Lions were flumbings. The score was
- 6:46Speaker 2: thirty eight to six. Are they the twenty twenty three Ravens. No,
- 6:49Speaker 2: even the Ravens weren't once you got to the AFC
- 6:51Speaker 2: Championship camp. But they do get Gino the ball with
- 6:54Speaker 2: a chance, and I think that's all he needs.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Seahawks wins Cynthia.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Because I'm wearing a crown, I'm gonna say this with confidence.
- 7:01Speaker 4: The Lions win. Oh my two points, twenty five to
- 7:05Speaker 4: twenty three. Do I feel confident? I was a wee
- 7:08Speaker 4: lad of just No, I was a weak girl of
- 7:10Speaker 4: just twenty in twenty twelve, just a little tiny girl.
- 7:12Speaker 4: The last time they went, not really at all. It
- 7:14Speaker 4: was graduate college. But don't worry about that. But I'm
- 7:17Speaker 4: looking at the run game, which is completely different. Am
- 7:19Speaker 4: I worried that Frank Ragnell's not playing?
- 7:21Speaker 6: Yes, you're darn my pick. It really did well.
- 7:25Speaker 4: There's a lot of other people that are missing too.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Marks Davenport, yeah, Derek Barnes All and I are Anyways,
- 7:30Speaker 4: long story short, the run game has where all has been,
- 7:33Speaker 4: where all of the success has taken place, and both
- 7:35Speaker 4: of the running backs are still in Therefore, my math
- 7:38Speaker 4: still has it working out in favor of the Lions.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I will say six and oh for the Seahawks against them.
- 7:46Speaker 4: If I weren't wearing the crown, I wouldn't be quite
- 7:47Speaker 4: as confident about it. But I'm wearing a crown, so
- 7:49Speaker 4: I'm confident.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yeah. The tweet from Woodyard, the.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Guy everybody concerned, They're not. Nothing's happening to Frank Ragnow
- 7:56Speaker 2: he did say that they put him down.
- 7:58Speaker 3: They just meant that there's no Frank ragnow.
- 8:00Speaker 6: This week.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Like an old yeller Ray Hard Now it's gonna be
- 8:05Speaker 2: all right, Get well soon. Frank jaed Goff could have
- 8:08Speaker 2: benged last year's lost. But speaking of revenge, let's talk
- 8:11Speaker 2: about the Buccaneers and the Eagles, another big rematch Sunday.
- 8:15Speaker 2: These teams faced off in last year's NFC Wildcard rounds.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Baker lit up.
- 8:19Speaker 2: The Philly defense through per over three hundred yards three
- 8:21Speaker 2: touchdowns Tampa Clavern Philly thirty two to nine to advance.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Baker was wired for the playoff win and have a
- 8:28Speaker 2: listener because It's now time for Active Mic presented by
- 8:31Speaker 2: the Wells.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Fargo Active Cash credit card.
- 8:34Speaker 2: The Burds and the Bucks down in Tampa, foughts with
- 8:37Speaker 2: everybody dealing with Hurricane Helen down there on the Gulf Coast,
- 8:40Speaker 2: Philly coming off a huge win in New Orleans, do
- 8:42Speaker 2: they keep it rolling this weekend?
- 8:44Speaker 5: I think the Eagles get it done twenty four to
- 8:47Speaker 5: twenty because of the running game, it's supposed to be
- 8:50Speaker 5: the foundation.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Of a Todd Bowles defense.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Some of the greatest run defenses in NFL history have
- 8:55Speaker 5: been coached by Todd Bowles. You can't run against the
- 8:58Speaker 5: Todd Bowles deven Oh what if you can?
- 9:00Speaker 6: You can't this year.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Thirty first, then rushing defensive EFFICI and you got Saquon
- 9:05Speaker 5: Barkley coming to temph.
- 9:07Speaker 6: This is a different Saquon Barkley.
- 9:08Speaker 5: People say like, oh see, look, look what he looks
- 9:10Speaker 5: like behind a good offensive line.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Yeah, that's part of it. But I'm gonna use my
- 9:13Speaker 6: eyes too.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I think he's just running better, and he's more explosive,
- 9:16Speaker 5: and he's healthier than he's been for a few years.
- 9:18Speaker 5: So Saquon Barkley versus a bad Bucks defense, you don't
- 9:22Speaker 5: even have to worry about Jalen Hurts versus the blitz.
- 9:24Speaker 5: That's the reason Kellen Moore got this job, as they
- 9:26Speaker 5: couldn't handle the bitz. You don't even need to worry
- 9:28Speaker 5: about it when you hand it off to Saquon Barkley.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I love that, and I also agree. Philadelphia wins twenty
- 9:34Speaker 4: four to twenty two, so a two point win for
- 9:36Speaker 4: the Eagles in this matchup. I'm just looking at what
- 9:39Speaker 4: Dallas Goddard did last week. I'm looking back to see
- 9:42Speaker 4: how he was used in so many different ways. He
- 9:44Speaker 4: really tricked the Saints defense quite a bit. That ready
- 9:48Speaker 4: to see all the game boom. That's it when you're
- 9:50Speaker 4: watching to see how they're kind of changing some of
- 9:53Speaker 4: the script this season, making adjustments to AJ Brown being out,
- 9:56Speaker 4: what happens with de Bunch, et cetera. They're really leaning
- 9:59Speaker 4: on Dallas Goddard here. And you talk about that blitz situation, Yeah, well,
- 10:03Speaker 4: they don't have a sack when they're flitzing. They're the
- 10:05Speaker 4: only team in the league to say that. And when
- 10:06Speaker 4: they don't blitz just two secs, so this is not
- 10:09Speaker 4: a big pressure situation.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Tampa Bay missing two of their best players.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Still, I've got the Philadelphia Eagles twenty three to twenty
- 10:15Speaker 2: all Birds. As we look at Vic Fangio's defense really
- 10:18Speaker 2: stepping up in the Superdome last weekend against an offense
- 10:21Speaker 2: that was playing to an historical extent just stopping the run.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Jalen Carter had a spectacular game, and now Cody Mauch
- 10:30Speaker 2: has given up fourteen pressures.
- 10:31Speaker 3: He's going to be lined up primarily against Jalen Carter. Baker,
- 10:35Speaker 3: good luck.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I think the Philly defense is ready and the Birds
- 10:39Speaker 2: get the win, and so Bucks fans, you have your
- 10:42Speaker 2: meme opportunity meme away.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Really, what a glorious sound.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's time for the Drive to Excellence presented by Mercedes Bins.
- 10:52Speaker 2: The undefeated Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Chargers at
- 10:55Speaker 2: SOFI Stadium. Patrick Mahomes one hundredth career start. Does Casey
- 10:59Speaker 2: remain unbeaten after this one.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Cynthia, Yes they do. Twenty six to seventeen is my
- 11:04Speaker 4: final score. No, I'm never taking the crown off, but
- 11:07Speaker 4: I am going to say that Travis Kelcey is going
- 11:09Speaker 4: to have a rebound game. Here's why I do understand
- 11:12Speaker 4: that thirty five yards a game is not what the
- 11:14Speaker 4: rest of us or fantasy players, or probably even Taylor
- 11:17Speaker 4: Swift was anticipating this time through the season. However, when
- 11:21Speaker 4: you're looking at how good the Chargers have been at
- 11:24Speaker 4: defending yards after the catch on routes that are run
- 11:27Speaker 4: by Rashid Rice, they're going to devote extra attention to him,
- 11:30Speaker 4: which what leaves Travis Kelce open. Do you know who
- 11:33Speaker 4: basically owns the Chargers, trav Ravis Kelce. So that's why
- 11:37Speaker 4: I think this is the week the touchdown happens.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, a lot of people will be happy to
- 11:43Speaker 3: see that.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I also have Kansas City in this game twenty three
- 11:46Speaker 2: to fourteen, because honestly, the Chargers.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Are very, very hurt. Derwin James is.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Going to be out for this game as well as
- 11:53Speaker 2: Joey Bosa leaving the game last week. Justin Herbert could
- 11:57Speaker 2: be hobbling around, or it could be Taylor Heineke. I'm
- 11:59Speaker 2: taking the Kansas City Chiefs because of that. I do
- 12:02Speaker 2: want to sew some video of Patrick Mahone. I'm throwing
- 12:04Speaker 2: crossers because sometimes we just see something over and over
- 12:07Speaker 2: again and we gotta take it for granted. You just
- 12:09Speaker 2: have to defend every bit of blade, every single blade
- 12:12Speaker 2: of grass.
- 12:13Speaker 3: When Patrick Mahomes is playing football.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And sometimes there's just a guy dragging across and he's
- 12:18Speaker 2: gonna make a god miss in the in the pocket,
- 12:19Speaker 2: he's gonna throw the cross.
- 12:20Speaker 3: They're gonna get thirty yards and none you can do
- 12:22Speaker 3: about it.
- 12:22Speaker 5: You know what, you know what else they take for granted,
- 12:24Speaker 5: well's that that the Chiefs speeding the Chargers every time
- 12:27Speaker 5: they play him. I mean, I've picked the Chargers so
- 12:29Speaker 5: many times in this matchup. It never happens. They even
- 12:33Speaker 5: in the best of times, it doesn't happen. It's not
- 12:34Speaker 5: happening this week. They're not gonna score double digits. It's
- 12:37Speaker 5: twenty to nine Chiefs in this game. Look, defenses are
- 12:41Speaker 5: asking Patrick Mahomes, can you just please hand the ball off?
- 12:44Speaker 5: And he says, okay, we've got Carson Steele. Who's Carson Steel? Like,
- 12:49Speaker 5: didn't he run a four seven seven forty? Like, isn't
- 12:51Speaker 5: that the name of like an adult entertainer. He's like,
- 12:54Speaker 5: I don't care. I'm gonna get it done. I'm gonna
- 12:57Speaker 5: get my four yards. I'm gonna get exactly what's blocked.
- 13:00Speaker 5: You know, who's the number one running back in the
- 13:03Speaker 5: NFL right now, Cynthia and Patrick in success right number one.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's not Carsons anyway.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Carsons even though he has no big plays, but if
- 13:12Speaker 5: you need four on first and ten, he'll get you four.
- 13:14Speaker 6: That's all they need.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Huh. I will just move on as we're speaking of
- 13:19Speaker 3: the Chiefs.
- 13:19Speaker 2: So they played abroad last season the NFL going back
- 13:23Speaker 2: to Europe next week. We got Sunday Morning Football Live
- 13:26Speaker 2: from London at nine thirty am Eastern, exclusively on NFL Network.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers and the Jets take on Justin Jefferson and
- 13:33Speaker 2: the Vikings at Tottenham Hot Square Stadium in London. Rise,
- 13:36Speaker 2: shine and watch Jets against the Vikings on NFL Network
- 13:39Speaker 2: and streaming on NFL Plus. Subscription required for NFL Plus. Now,
- 13:46Speaker 2: before the Vikings go across the Pond and we get
- 13:48Speaker 2: the the Sam Donald revenge game, we're going to Lambeau
- 13:51Speaker 2: to take on the Packers.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Are the Vikings? What do you see happening? Grig?
- 13:55Speaker 5: I think the Packers win this game because Brian Flores's
- 13:57Speaker 5: defense right now has shown like you got to have
- 14:00Speaker 5: a dude back there at quarterback to possibly beat him
- 14:02Speaker 5: and the Packers do. His name is George and Love
- 14:04Speaker 5: he's practicing this week. It sounds positive for him playing.
- 14:08Speaker 5: And when you look at the matchup that they had
- 14:10Speaker 5: with Brian Flores in this Vikings defense a year ago,
- 14:13Speaker 5: a lot of drop back passing, a lot of deep shots.
- 14:16Speaker 5: You want to send all those blitzers. We're gonna win
- 14:18Speaker 5: our matchups and we're gonna hit you with some big plays.
- 14:21Speaker 5: I think the Packers' offensive coaching staff can get ready
- 14:25Speaker 5: for this matchup in a way that the other teams
- 14:27Speaker 5: the Vikings have played could not. Look if it's Malik Willis,
- 14:30Speaker 5: I think they have a chance because the Packers running
- 14:33Speaker 5: game is so good this year number one in the NFL.
- 14:36Speaker 5: That they can hit you with the pass, they can
- 14:38Speaker 5: hit you with the run. But Jordan Love's return is
- 14:40Speaker 5: really the key factor and why I'm taking them. I'm
- 14:43Speaker 5: torn here because I kind of want NFL network to
- 14:45Speaker 5: have an undefeated Vikings team going to London.
- 14:47Speaker 6: But either way, that's a great game.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I also agree that the Grand Bay Packers will win,
- 14:50Speaker 2: but we see a completely different game because I don't
- 14:53Speaker 2: think Jordan Love is going to play in this game.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be Malik Willison. Perhaps all the
- 14:57Speaker 2: love talk that we've heard has been a bit of
- 14:59Speaker 2: a smoke screen coming out of Wisconsin, but Gran's right
- 15:04Speaker 2: the Packers Battleafloor has been calling incredible plays during this
- 15:08Speaker 2: Malik Willis run, including the screen game, and I know
- 15:12Speaker 2: Brian Floor is this propensity to bring the house send
- 15:15Speaker 2: even though the Vikings were getting pressure with just four.
- 15:18Speaker 2: There's gonna be some play in this game, which I
- 15:20Speaker 2: think is a very low scoring game. I've got it
- 15:22Speaker 2: seventeen to sixteen where the Vikings send the blitz and
- 15:25Speaker 2: whether it's Jade Reid, whether it's Romeo Dobs, there's some
- 15:29Speaker 2: sort of screen the rookie Wilson gets involved. Big play
- 15:32Speaker 2: winds up being the difference of the game commissioner Goodell.
- 15:36Speaker 4: I'm actually the only one that cares about working here
- 15:38Speaker 4: because I do want the Minnesota Vikings, and my model
- 15:41Speaker 4: did pick them, so clearly I am the most company
- 15:44Speaker 4: of company people to my model picked.
- 15:45Speaker 6: It is a prime other prime number.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Twenty three to twenty two. Minnesota wins this one. I
- 15:50Speaker 4: want you to take note of three specific things that
- 15:53Speaker 4: happened last game, and that is the three sacks that
- 15:55Speaker 4: the Minnesota Vikings had when only rushing for aka not
- 15:59Speaker 4: blitzing three other five me out. You said that they
- 16:02Speaker 4: need a stud back there at quarter. What do you
- 16:04Speaker 4: think CJ. Stroud's not a stud. Come on now, man,
- 16:07Speaker 4: I don't know what you're smoking, but ultimately you're still
- 16:10Speaker 4: thinking about that last thing with your guy Chad Steel.
- 16:13Speaker 6: Carson Steel.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Chad Steel is.
- 16:15Speaker 4: The anyways, long story short is Brian Flores showed that
- 16:21Speaker 4: interesting balance thing where he kind of adapted to the
- 16:24Speaker 4: situation by not blitzing. It was fifty to fifty. They
- 16:26Speaker 4: had the most pressures of the week with twenty three.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Thirteen came with the blitz, ten came without. Three of
- 16:32Speaker 4: the five sacks came without the blitz. So they did
- 16:34Speaker 4: that thing that like really is all about life, right,
- 16:36Speaker 4: It's balancing what I do best versus what my opponent
- 16:39Speaker 4: does worst and figuring out. So you're welcome, Commissioner Goodell.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I yeah, you can send to me an extra you know. Bonus?
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah? Why not? One?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Bonus is having the best at his position. Justin Jefferson
- 16:52Speaker 2: on the Vikings. He's got three touchdowns in three games.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Does he get four for four Cynthia, Yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I mean it's kind of as simple as that.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Diya Alexander though, having kind of a comeback season, Let's go.
- 17:04Speaker 6: Buddy a minute.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Let's talk about how this team is super roller coastery. Right.
- 17:07Speaker 4: They have the most interceptions with seven, but they also
- 17:10Speaker 4: allowed the most yards after the catch overexpected boop boop boop.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Which one wins? Justin Jefferson And that's all.
- 17:16Speaker 3: We're gonna watch the games when we come back. Greg's
- 17:18Speaker 3: favorite rivalry, Derek Caring.
- 17:19Speaker 2: The Saints going to Atlanta to take on Fast Chains.
- 17:22Speaker 3: And the Falcons.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Who walks away victorious and whose fans are going to
- 17:26Speaker 2: be itchy?
- 17:26Speaker 3: On Twitter dot com we found out.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Next how these fans eighty fires.
- 17:31Speaker 3: We're back on Game Deview.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Election days coming up, but we all need to be
- 17:34Speaker 2: ready to show up big for our country. Make sure
- 17:36Speaker 2: you know your state's voter registration deadline and requirements. For
- 17:39Speaker 2: more resources and information, visit NFL dot com. Slash boats
- 17:45Speaker 2: the Saints and the Falcons in Atlanta this week, Cousins
- 17:48Speaker 2: and the Dirty Birds nearly upset the Chiefs. There was
- 17:51Speaker 2: a fourth down stop by KC. Last week, the Saints
- 17:54Speaker 2: fell to the Eagles, who turns it around Sunday Cynthia.
- 17:57Speaker 4: The Saints turn it around. I have a final score
- 17:59Speaker 4: of twenty three to twenty two, so just a one
- 18:02Speaker 4: point victory. I want to point out something that the
- 18:04Speaker 4: Eagles defense showed us, and that is how to stop
- 18:07Speaker 4: the run of the Saints. I know, I just said
- 18:08Speaker 4: the Saints are gonna don't worry, it'll all come back
- 18:10Speaker 4: full circle out.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Okay, don't worried, Greg, But.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Ultimately here, the outside zone run was an area that
- 18:15Speaker 4: they were just crushing in the first two weeks of
- 18:17Speaker 4: the season almost six yards per rush and that went
- 18:19Speaker 4: down to like three. So what do they do? They
- 18:21Speaker 4: really just figured out a way to nullify it. And
- 18:24Speaker 4: which what did that lead to? That led to Derek
- 18:26Speaker 4: carving under the most pressure he's been under it this season,
- 18:29Speaker 4: most pressure in a while like his career, and then
- 18:32Speaker 4: that was a problem. The problem for the Falcons in
- 18:34Speaker 4: this matchup is they don't have the personnel to execute
- 18:37Speaker 4: that same sort of strategy. So even though the Eagles
- 18:40Speaker 4: gave us the formula, executing it is again not as
- 18:43Speaker 4: easy as it is to talk about executing it. So
- 18:46Speaker 4: I mean, we could do it here on this stage obviously,
- 18:49Speaker 4: you know, if we played football but whatever.
- 18:51Speaker 5: It's that crown. That crown is like never coming off.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Just a lot of differ it's hurt bolted on. I
- 18:56Speaker 5: love that we agree in this game for the same reason.
- 18:58Speaker 6: You're right.
- 18:58Speaker 5: I don't think Atlanta's got the personnel. I think the
- 19:00Speaker 5: Saints get it done twenty seven to twenty three. When
- 19:03Speaker 5: you watch thet in week three, just something was missing?
- 19:06Speaker 5: What was missing? Yeah, they're center Eric McCoy, he's not
- 19:08Speaker 5: coming back. But Taysom Hill is. It's a fullback game
- 19:12Speaker 5: debut this week. We got Carson s know, we got
- 19:15Speaker 5: Taysom Hill.
- 19:16Speaker 6: I really mean it. Taysom Hill.
- 19:18Speaker 5: First of all, he's the second best running back on
- 19:20Speaker 5: this team. He's a really talented runner. He'll get the
- 19:22Speaker 5: ball in short yardage and break some tackles. But more importantly,
- 19:26Speaker 5: as a fullback. Clint Kubiak really uses him, not just
- 19:29Speaker 5: as a sixth offensive lineman, but to manipulate the defense.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Who got spot shadows?
- 19:36Speaker 5: We got him blocking and what they do before the
- 19:39Speaker 5: stap after the stap.
- 19:40Speaker 6: He is so crucial.
- 19:41Speaker 5: He is returning for this game, and I don't think
- 19:43Speaker 5: the Falcons have the linebackers to stop this running attack.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's unanimous.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I've got the New Orleans Saints as well, one point
- 19:49Speaker 2: win twenty two to twenty one. Like Cynthia does, it
- 19:53Speaker 2: is based on the Saints defense, uh making some plays
- 19:56Speaker 2: as well. Because I'm looking over at Tyer Matthew for
- 19:59Speaker 2: the past few weeks, back to back games with an interception,
- 20:03Speaker 2: the Honey Badger taking what he wants again.
- 20:05Speaker 3: He's getting hits out on the edge.
- 20:07Speaker 2: And Greg called it earlier in the years, like, I
- 20:08Speaker 2: feel like this is going to be a Tyron Matthew
- 20:11Speaker 2: type season where we look up and he's back in.
- 20:13Speaker 6: The Pro Bowl.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Did you have like another defensive back on that team
- 20:17Speaker 4: having three and a half sacks this point in the season,
- 20:19Speaker 4: Because that, my friend, would be crazy.
- 20:21Speaker 5: No, I want to have a Monte Taylor going that crazy.
- 20:23Speaker 5: But shout out to Honey Badger. He followed me on
- 20:26Speaker 5: Twitter this week, welcome aboard. It's going to be a
- 20:28Speaker 5: great ride for you.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yeah, just just wait, Tyron.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Greg.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Greg will open up a little bit as the season
- 20:34Speaker 2: goes on. Right now, he's very the crown.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Yeah post my crown, so he sees it.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It's a tough spot.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Let's do some math, Cynthia will Kirk Cousins passed for
- 20:44Speaker 2: over two hundred and thirteen yards in this game against
- 20:46Speaker 2: Greg's newest Twitter follow up, I.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Hope he sees my crow. I have him passing for
- 20:51Speaker 4: nearly two hundred and forty yards. So it is a
- 20:54Speaker 4: very strong yes for me. Why because he's going to
- 20:58Speaker 4: have to I have this game falling in a game
- 21:00Speaker 4: script where the Saints have nice control with their run game,
- 21:04Speaker 4: which means the Falcons are going to have to take
- 21:06Speaker 4: the shots downfield, which means there's a guy in Drakelen
- 21:09Speaker 4: who's getting the zone. But other than that, they're going
- 21:11Speaker 4: to be at least two hundred and thirteen yards easy psy.
- 21:14Speaker 2: All right, so we got a couple overs in the
- 21:16Speaker 2: quarterbacks throwing for what seems like a very love number.
- 21:20Speaker 3: This week's son for quick picks. As we get to
- 21:23Speaker 3: the Browns and the Raiders.
- 21:24Speaker 2: In Vegas, we're assuming somebody will score in this football game,
- 21:28Speaker 2: both teams coming off of losses.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Who gets to win here? Great?
- 21:31Speaker 5: This was a tough game to pick. I took the
- 21:32Speaker 5: Browns winning sixteen to thirteen. It's just a depressing game.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Miles Garrett's not one hundred percent. Max Crosby's not one
- 21:38Speaker 5: hundred percent. But Miles Garrett at less than one hundred
- 21:41Speaker 5: percent is better than your guy at one hundred percent.
- 21:44Speaker 5: He was carrying Andrew Thomas, the great tackle of the
- 21:47Speaker 5: Giants last week, and pressuring the heck out of the
- 21:50Speaker 5: opposing quarterback Daniel Jones despite not being one hundred percent.
- 21:53Speaker 5: He's a warrior, and I think he's got more help
- 21:55Speaker 5: around him in terms of his defense. So Browns, you
- 21:58Speaker 5: gotta bench Deshaun Watson. It's past time. But I think
- 22:01Speaker 5: you get the win because of your defense.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah, something is the only person has a team score
- 22:05Speaker 2: more than twenty points in that.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Game, the barnburner of mine, the Patriots and the forty
- 22:10Speaker 4: nine ers.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Any chance, Cynthia, the Kyle Shanahan's team loses three straight.
- 22:14Speaker 4: There's always a chance, but this is not a strong
- 22:17Speaker 4: chance in my model. In fact, this is number one
- 22:19Speaker 4: in terms of confidence. San Francisco wins twenty six to fifteen.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Can we just talk about Dwan Jennings. Yeah, well, he
- 22:25Speaker 4: just was absolutely incredible. Yet again, this guy has a
- 22:29Speaker 4: ram target on his back. It doesn't matter rams games
- 22:31Speaker 4: he comes to play. It's where all of his touchdowns are.
- 22:34Speaker 4: I really have you know, The crux of this is
- 22:36Speaker 4: the fact that unfortunately, you know, the forty nine ers
- 22:39Speaker 4: are very good at stopping the run Fred Warner, et cetera.
- 22:42Speaker 4: But ultimately, here, San Francisco, let me get.
- 22:45Speaker 6: This cat right here.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Let's bob me that. Yeah, Jwan Jennings, he'll he'll do
- 22:48Speaker 4: his fantasy damage early in the game and then they
- 22:50Speaker 4: can run for the end of the game.
- 22:51Speaker 2: All right, Let's go to the Jags and the Texans
- 22:54Speaker 2: in Houston. Houston humbled last week against the Minnesota Vikings,
- 22:57Speaker 2: but I think they bounce back here finals score twenty
- 23:00Speaker 2: two to nineteen, only three points different. It was really
- 23:03Speaker 2: just a bad matchup as well as a game plan
- 23:05Speaker 2: for the Jags defense. On Monday night, they just ran
- 23:08Speaker 2: into a buzzsaw in Buffalo. I don't think they're that bad.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And now they get back in a situation where there's
- 23:13Speaker 2: that divisional familiarity, so I think that lowers the total
- 23:16Speaker 2: as well.
- 23:17Speaker 3: But I do think CJ.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Stroud of the Texans bounce back to win it, as
- 23:20Speaker 2: we all do.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Meet this away Jacks fans, if you.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Mean, well, what if the Jaguars are that bad, because
- 23:27Speaker 5: they really haven't played a complete game against anyone yet
- 23:31Speaker 5: this year. There haven't There hasn't been a game this
- 23:33Speaker 5: year where you watch the Jaguars and you said, yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 5: that's a good team. So I think the Texans in
- 23:38Speaker 5: a game they really need to win, get their mojo
- 23:40Speaker 5: backed offensively.
- 23:41Speaker 6: I think they can roll big.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Okay, So if you're a Jags fan, you can say, sure,
- 23:45Speaker 4: the Texans have beating us, you know, out of the
- 23:46Speaker 4: last twelve games ten times, but the two were both
- 23:49Speaker 4: in Houston.
- 23:49Speaker 6: Okay, So there we go.
- 23:50Speaker 3: There it is, history is on your side.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Kind of non predictive, but you know, fun to say.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Parenthetically.
- 23:56Speaker 2: The Commanders and the Cardinals first touchdown score odds, James
- 24:00Speaker 2: Connor Lean the way, Brian Robinson Junior, despite all the
- 24:04Speaker 2: action for Terry on Monday Night, I know, not featured here,
- 24:08Speaker 2: still happy for him. Finally got a quarterback in our
- 24:11Speaker 2: nations capital. Let's dive into this game Jayden versus Kyler
- 24:15Speaker 2: Daniel's putting the league on notice Monday night in Cincinnati.
- 24:17Speaker 2: But I like the Cardinals in this one. Twenty eight
- 24:21Speaker 2: to twenty six into what for me is actually the
- 24:24Speaker 2: Kyler Murray revenge game against Cliff Kingsbury. As the offense
- 24:28Speaker 2: rounds into shape. It's kind of been sporadic. He hit
- 24:32Speaker 2: all of his deep shots against the Rams, didn't throw
- 24:34Speaker 2: a lot of deep shots against the Buffalo Bills, threw
- 24:37Speaker 2: a few too many against the Lions. I am not
- 24:39Speaker 2: sure if there is such a thing as too many
- 24:41Speaker 2: deep shots against this Washington Commander secondary. Jayden and company
- 24:45Speaker 2: might have to score every time again, Cynthia.
- 24:48Speaker 4: I mean, it seems like that would be the only recipe.
- 24:51Speaker 4: I don't have that happening, though. I only have a
- 24:53Speaker 4: two point win for Arizona twenty five to twenty three.
- 24:56Speaker 4: You talk about the Cliff Kingsbury revenge. What Cliff Kingsbury
- 25:00Speaker 4: does exceptionally well is figure out how to overcome not
- 25:04Speaker 4: so great O lines, right, and that is what we've
- 25:06Speaker 4: seen with Jayden Daniels. Look at him, he's just cooking
- 25:08Speaker 4: up some new players, right, Let's find the right play
- 25:11Speaker 4: here for my guy, Jad and Daniels a crazy dual threat.
- 25:15Speaker 4: The deep ball is something we're like, is this going
- 25:17Speaker 4: to be something that happens all the time. I mean,
- 25:19Speaker 4: look at him on a space that they're coming up
- 25:20Speaker 4: with on the runs. Look at him on a space
- 25:22Speaker 4: and do you think that Cliff Kingsbury had anything to
- 25:25Speaker 4: do with that dance, probably unconfirmed there, But ultimately I'm
- 25:29Speaker 4: watching what Jaden Daniels is doing and they don't turn
- 25:32Speaker 4: the ball over and that is really really key. So
- 25:35Speaker 4: keeping that up against this defense will be good, which
- 25:38Speaker 4: is why I predict a closer game.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I am with you on everything you said about Jade
- 25:42Speaker 5: and Daniels. I love both quarterbacks in this game. I
- 25:44Speaker 5: do not love the defenses in this game, especially the
- 25:47Speaker 5: Commander's defense. Like, you can name a stat about this
- 25:50Speaker 5: Commander's defense and it's bad. Actually, pick one, pick a
- 25:53Speaker 5: defensive stack.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Magic yars per too.
- 25:56Speaker 5: They're bad at it, Cynthia, pick a defensive stat anything.
- 26:00Speaker 4: How about touchdowns allowed in the past game.
- 26:03Speaker 5: They're bad at its, bad at it pressure, bad at it.
- 26:06Speaker 5: They are the worst defense in the league by almost
- 26:09Speaker 5: any metric, and they still have a winning record because
- 26:11Speaker 5: they're playing.
- 26:12Speaker 6: So well offensively.
- 26:13Speaker 5: So yes, I'm showing you all the times opposing offense
- 26:16Speaker 5: has burned them because I think Kyler Murray and this
- 26:19Speaker 5: Cardinals offense is ready to put a forty burger.
- 26:22Speaker 6: On him forty one to thirty seven.
- 26:24Speaker 5: Not a lot of stops in this game either, but
- 26:26Speaker 5: the Cardinals get more points.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I'm with you on that, So I have a touchdown
- 26:29Speaker 4: for Marvin Harrison Junior. Duh, what about Michael Wilson. Don't
- 26:32Speaker 4: forget about him for a fantas like him. The man
- 26:34Speaker 4: had nine targets last game. He caught eight of them.
- 26:37Speaker 4: You know how eleven targets Marvin Harrison Junior, that's number two.
- 26:40Speaker 4: And if there's any injury to the tight end, Michael Wilson,
- 26:43Speaker 4: He's a really great fantasy player. You could seize the
- 26:45Speaker 4: day with him and wear your own crowns.
- 26:47Speaker 5: I mostly think of him as Sophia Smith's significant others.
- 26:50Speaker 6: Soccer great, absolutely and fun.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Just so many opportunities to watch our great offensive players.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Maybe not the best defensive circumstance that we like points.
- 27:02Speaker 2: That was season the season for some by Caesars Sportsbook

- 27:21Speaker 3: In order to get the full terms, let's.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Look over at the Steelers and the Colts. Notable player
- 27:28Speaker 2: props going into this one. Anthony Richardson looking at one
- 27:31Speaker 2: hundred and eighty one and a half passing yards.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Right around that same number for Justin.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Fields Jonathan Taylor at seventy three, Michael Pittman Junior at
- 27:39Speaker 2: four and a half.
- 27:41Speaker 3: He's really been scratching to get to that.
- 27:43Speaker 5: I mean, look at these sassing yards. This is like
- 27:45Speaker 5: Terry Bradshaw against Johnny United. Is not a matchup that
- 27:48Speaker 5: could actually happen, but it does represent the teams involved.
- 27:51Speaker 6: You get what I'm saying.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely fit with this matchup not necessarily cross era
- 27:58Speaker 2: of football matchoups is Fields versus Richardson this time around
- 28:00Speaker 2: it should be fun. The Steelers undefeated? Will they remain
- 28:03Speaker 2: undefare after this week?
- 28:05Speaker 4: My math says yes, I have twenty one to twenty
- 28:08Speaker 4: in this matchup. Can we give a little love to
- 28:10Speaker 4: Justin Fields please? There's a really great next Sheen stat.
- 28:12Speaker 4: It's called completion percentage over expected, so the overexpected part.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Just say, what would an average in this down distant situation?
- 28:19Speaker 4: Score time all of those things be and how much
- 28:21Speaker 4: better are you doing? Plus eight point eight? Baby, that's
- 28:25Speaker 4: up from last season. He was sixty ranked sixteenths in
- 28:27Speaker 4: this metric. Now he's up in the top five. Let's
- 28:30Speaker 4: give him a little bit of love, especially because it's
- 28:32Speaker 4: not like this Steelers O line is like really really
- 28:35Speaker 4: great like the Colts. It's like twenty twenty one in
- 28:38Speaker 4: terms of ranking, not a great one. So what he's
- 28:40Speaker 4: doing is even better when you add in that context.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Justin Fields is playing really good football
- 28:46Speaker 2: and he's getting better every single week, which is huge
- 28:48Speaker 2: for me. I'm the Steelers scoring twenty six points in
- 28:50Speaker 2: a win and if you feel like that's a lot
- 28:52Speaker 2: of points for a team that hadn't scored a lot
- 28:53Speaker 2: of touchdowns. Have you seen the twenty twenty four Indianapolis
- 28:57Speaker 2: Colts run defense.
- 28:58Speaker 3: I have.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I've watched it every single week, and this is the
- 29:02Speaker 2: type of things that we have seen. Joe mix it
- 29:04Speaker 2: in week one, one hundred and fifty eight yards on
- 29:07Speaker 2: the ground, and then they go up against a Packers
- 29:11Speaker 2: statan that's running.
- 29:12Speaker 3: The ball very well as well. Now we got Arthur Smith.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Arthur Smith is really looking forward to this opportunity to
- 29:22Speaker 2: run the football game. I think Najie Harris is gonna
- 29:24Speaker 2: have a solid game. I think this could be a
- 29:25Speaker 2: good cor Daryl game too as well.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Greg, I'm not so sure about that. Patrick.
- 29:31Speaker 5: I think the Colts are going to win this game.
- 29:33Speaker 5: I'm gonna just screg it up. The reason why I
- 29:35Speaker 5: got back to back titles is I trusted my gut,
- 29:38Speaker 5: and even if the logic is saying Steelers, the gut
- 29:40Speaker 5: is saying this Colts running game is ready to go off. Yes,
- 29:44Speaker 5: Anthony Richardson is scattershot these days. You don't need to
- 29:47Speaker 5: worry about the past when you're playing nineteen seventies football.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Like I talked about what won the games back.
- 29:52Speaker 6: Then, it was running the ball. This should be the
- 29:54Speaker 6: best running attack in the league. Let's just lean.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Fully in on everything Anthony Richardson can do running the ball,
- 30:00Speaker 5: and then all the options that he has handing it
- 30:03Speaker 5: off to Jonathan Taylor. Jonathan Taylor's got that jute back.
- 30:06Speaker 5: This offensive line is running very well, I mean run
- 30:09Speaker 5: blocking very well, and I do think I know the
- 30:12Speaker 5: Steelers defense has been good against the run so far,
- 30:14Speaker 5: but I do think that is the way you're going
- 30:15Speaker 5: to beat them is not by dropping back to pass.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Wait you say they've been good against the run, now
- 30:20Speaker 4: they'd been great? What happened with JK Dobbins? Ask we
- 30:23Speaker 4: just question?
- 30:23Speaker 6: Okay?
- 30:24Speaker 5: I love JK. Dobbins NFL Daily Guest. He's no Jonathan Taylor.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Look at Jonathan Taylor here in the moves that he's
- 30:30Speaker 5: making maybe the best.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Running back just pure running back in the league. He's
- 30:33Speaker 6: right there at the top with him.
- 30:34Speaker 4: I love Jonathan Taylor too, and I think this is
- 30:36Speaker 4: a very good O line. But give the Steelers their
- 30:39Speaker 4: come up and they are undefeated because of their defense,
- 30:42Speaker 4: I mean.
- 30:42Speaker 6: What are they going to do? Go seventeen and no?
- 30:44Speaker 5: I just feel like this is a spot the Cults
- 30:46Speaker 5: are like a two and two type of team.
- 30:47Speaker 6: They're gonna get their win.
- 30:48Speaker 2: All right, Well, we've got a chance to look at
- 30:51Speaker 2: just how consistent just been.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Just Okay, I'm glad you're showing this graphic because if
- 30:57Speaker 5: even if I'm not winning all the just screggs, at
- 30:59Speaker 5: least I'm going for I'm having some guts this year.
- 31:02Speaker 6: Join me, you know me? Cynthia and Patrick like, go
- 31:05Speaker 6: out of the limb.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Everyone, Sincey's got multiple proble numbers this the more that
- 31:11Speaker 2: graphic will be up there, we'll get a chance to
- 31:13Speaker 2: look at it next week.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Still to come. No Pooka, no Cup, no problem.
- 31:16Speaker 2: The Stafford and the Rams may have saved their season
- 31:18Speaker 2: last week with the improbable win against the forty nine ers.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Will they keep things rolling Sunday in Chicago? Our picks
- 31:24Speaker 2: for Rams Bears coming up next on game day?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, indeed, coach McVay.
- 31:30Speaker 2: The Rams coming off that huge win against the forty
- 31:32Speaker 2: nine ers, Now they didn't playing go to Chicago to
- 31:34Speaker 2: take on Caleb and the Bears.
- 31:36Speaker 3: How do you see it going good?
- 31:37Speaker 5: I had to take the Rams. I struggled with this pickny.
- 31:41Speaker 5: I just didn't know who to pick. But ultimately, when
- 31:43Speaker 5: I really struggle, I go to quarterbacks. I go to organizations.
- 31:46Speaker 5: I go to coaching staffs. What is this Bears coaching
- 31:50Speaker 5: staff won nothing? What is Caleb Williams won at the
- 31:52Speaker 5: pro level?
- 31:53Speaker 6: Nothing? He's a rookie. What has Matthew Stafford won a
- 31:56Speaker 6: Super Bowl?
- 31:57Speaker 5: I saw him play last week like I saw him
- 32:00Speaker 5: play at the end of last season, which was like
- 32:02Speaker 5: a top five quarterback in the league. Sometimes you just
- 32:06Speaker 5: need the quarterback and the play caller. They're getting open
- 32:09Speaker 5: like it wasn't just that DeMarcus Robinson and two two
- 32:12Speaker 5: at Well and Jordan winning ten are making like crazy plays.
- 32:15Speaker 6: They're getting open.
- 32:16Speaker 5: And I know this is a tougher matchup, but again,
- 32:18Speaker 5: two teams that I really don't know what to make
- 32:20Speaker 5: of early in the season. I'm gonna go with the
- 32:22Speaker 5: top five quarterback.
- 32:23Speaker 2: And I'm so glad that Matthew Stafford and the Rams
- 32:26Speaker 2: won that Super Bowl across the street because it allows
- 32:28Speaker 2: people to appreciate what he can do on the football
- 32:30Speaker 2: field and not like make binary decisions about whether a
- 32:33Speaker 2: players good based on one game in February.
- 32:36Speaker 3: But I do like the Rams in this game. I'm
- 32:38Speaker 3: gonna get off my soapbox because the Bears can't protect
- 32:41Speaker 3: Kayleb Williams. They just can't. They can't run the ball either.
- 32:45Speaker 2: It's like they if they try, it seems like they're
- 32:47Speaker 2: doing it against their will. But Jared Vers, the rookie,
- 32:50Speaker 2: has been spectacular. Collapsing pockets left them right. Played very
- 32:53Speaker 2: well against San Francisco last week. Six pressures, two knockdowns,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and a sack. Thus far this season, those numbers go
- 33:00Speaker 2: up this week, I think in a Rams wins see.
- 33:02Speaker 6: I see where this is going here.
- 33:03Speaker 5: This is how we're getting into trouble and that she's
- 33:05Speaker 5: getting her crown on her head. Patrick and I give
- 33:08Speaker 5: Cynthia like a home favorite, decent sized home favor.
- 33:12Speaker 6: The Jets were a prime number. Just go go with it.
- 33:18Speaker 4: Three nineteen Chicago Bears. Of course you don't like it,
- 33:22Speaker 4: because why would you like anything that keeps me in
- 33:24Speaker 4: this lovely crown in the rookie Kyle Williams who dealt
- 33:28Speaker 4: last week, not only did he get his first passing touchdown,
- 33:31Speaker 4: he also got his second one. Now I don't necessarily
- 33:35Speaker 4: think this Olne is great. I'm with you. I'm really
- 33:37Speaker 4: happy to see Jared Versus and Braden Fisk. That was
- 33:39Speaker 4: awesome for the Rams. But this is not the matchup
- 33:42Speaker 4: between Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan's. They have something against
- 33:47Speaker 4: each other where they just like they go into their lab,
- 33:50Speaker 4: they make the prime number noise, and then they like this,
- 33:52Speaker 4: I'm gonna come up with some crazy stuff to come
- 33:54Speaker 4: after you. This is something where the Bears defense will
- 33:57Speaker 4: give them a little bit of an edge. The O
- 33:59Speaker 4: line for the Rams has been super banged up and
- 34:02Speaker 4: as good as Matthew Stafford is, as good as Karen
- 34:05Speaker 4: Williams is, it's just not enough, especially when you're starting
- 34:08Speaker 4: to see kayleab Williams get his footing in the league.
- 34:10Speaker 4: At the he saw Cole Kmett just score touch up. Yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 4: book that for this.
- 34:13Speaker 6: Week as well too.
- 34:15Speaker 4: They're getting yeah, yeah yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 5: It's like all very logical, But what happened to romance, Cynthia?
- 34:20Speaker 4: You know, I got a face swearing. I love a
- 34:22Speaker 4: good swear and I love when coaches swear at the
- 34:24Speaker 4: part whoosh, I almost swear, but I didn't.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah, swearing is plus three. Let's get to quick picks here.
- 34:29Speaker 2: On game debut, it's the Andy Me because Andy Dalton
- 34:33Speaker 2: has a few revenge game opportunities.
- 34:35Speaker 3: The main one, the Indy Dalton.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Revenge Store starts against the winless Bengals.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Does he do it two weeks in a row?
- 34:41Speaker 5: Grin, he doesn't. He does it well, but he doesn't win.
- 34:43Speaker 5: So I like offense in this game. I like the
- 34:45Speaker 5: Bengals thirty to twenty four. So the Bengals they cover
- 34:48Speaker 5: the number you go over the over under. It's a
- 34:51Speaker 5: lot of points because Andy Dalton can get it done.
- 34:53Speaker 5: I wanted to show you some Andy Dalton Bengals highlights
- 34:56Speaker 5: to AJ Greens. AJ Greens, I believe could be going
- 34:59Speaker 5: into the Hall of Fame one day because he caught
- 35:01Speaker 5: so many nice passes from Andy Dalton. I know they're
- 35:03Speaker 5: happy with Joe Burrow, but Andy Dalton is better than
- 35:06Speaker 5: a lot of franchises have had at quarterback. He is
- 35:08Speaker 5: the all time franchise leader in touchdowns. To just give
- 35:12Speaker 5: some Andy Dalton respect. Played fantastic last week. This is
- 35:15Speaker 5: gonna be a fun game.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Maybe if you at a Crown, they would have found
- 35:18Speaker 4: some Hawk video for you because Andrew Hawkins.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Yeah, he got a lot of nice passes from Andy
- 35:23Speaker 5: on two exactly.
- 35:24Speaker 4: But if maybe, if you had the crowd, maybe you
- 35:27Speaker 4: would have made it because we love Hawk on this show.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the Crown clout gets you better video.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Shout out to Hank Monday Night Titans and Dolphins Cynthia.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Both teams need a win. Which one is going to
- 35:37Speaker 3: get one?
- 35:37Speaker 4: Yeah, Tennessee I have a one point win in this matchup.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Tennessee has a profile that's like a big league slugger.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Either they're hitting a home run or they are striking
- 35:44Speaker 4: out and this week. It kind of profiles to be
- 35:47Speaker 4: more of that home run. But I do want to
- 35:49Speaker 4: point out on the other side of this matchup, even
- 35:51Speaker 4: though there's so many injuries, we love us some Devon
- 35:54Speaker 4: h Chan in this room. You're still gonna want to
- 35:56Speaker 4: play him for fantasy. I understand there's questions about who's
- 36:00Speaker 4: starting at quarterback, what's going on there, but you know
- 36:02Speaker 4: who you don't need to worry about running back. A
- 36:05Speaker 4: Chan will get you the points you need before contact,
- 36:08Speaker 4: after contact, in the pass catching game. He is there.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Do it all, guys, So much love to him. This
- 36:13Speaker 4: is something to watch out.
- 36:15Speaker 6: Not much left to the Dolphins, though.
- 36:16Speaker 5: It is flat out disrespect when you get memed alert
- 36:19Speaker 5: against a winless team.
- 36:20Speaker 6: Come after us Dolphins fans.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Let's go thatthing nice about They're just they're having a
- 36:25Speaker 2: tough time. I hope that you do meme away, guys,
- 36:28Speaker 2: So go to the Broncos and the Jets. Then Nathaniel
- 36:31Speaker 2: Hackett revenge game. I will take the Jets here twenty
- 36:34Speaker 2: three to nineteen because Aaron Rodgers said, keep my name,
- 36:36Speaker 2: my coach's name out of your mouth, and they're gonna
- 36:39Speaker 2: come out and they're gonna try it really hard. No,
- 36:41Speaker 2: that's not the reasoning. My reasoning is just how fast
- 36:43Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers is getting the ball out.
- 36:45Speaker 3: He was getting rid of the ball.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Super fast against the Patriots. In terms of the season,
- 36:50Speaker 2: he's top three two point five one seconds. Actually, Jade
- 36:54Speaker 2: Daniels is really good in that stat as well. I
- 36:56Speaker 2: was surprising for the rookie, but Aaron Rodgers delivering the
- 37:00Speaker 2: ball this season.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I think last week bo Nicks was a little
- 37:02Speaker 5: bit of fool's goal.
- 37:03Speaker 6: The Jets can get more pressure.
- 37:05Speaker 5: So Cynthia and I see this game a little differently
- 37:07Speaker 5: than Patrick. We have the Jets going over the number,
- 37:11Speaker 5: a comfortable win.
- 37:12Speaker 6: I think this Jets team has a lot to do.
- 37:14Speaker 4: I love good emotional win when it comes to like
- 37:17Speaker 4: keep my coach's name out of your mouth, like what
- 37:19Speaker 4: I love that. Don't get me wrong, keep it coming.
- 37:21Speaker 4: I want to hear it. Bulletin board material or whatever
- 37:24Speaker 4: they call it. Let's hear it.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get spicy, solid icy after the game, feeling great.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Because it means more in New York City.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Let's get some bold predictions for week four and write
- 37:34Speaker 2: this group down.
- 37:35Speaker 3: What are the people scribbling?
- 37:36Speaker 6: Okay, you want to go really bold.
- 37:38Speaker 5: I'm going Commanders Cardinals over seventy points. Okay, now you
- 37:43Speaker 5: only need to go over fifty for it actually to
- 37:45Speaker 5: get over the total. But my total is over seventy
- 37:48Speaker 5: forty one to thirty seven. It's gonna be like Kurt
- 37:51Speaker 5: Warner and Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs. Everyone's talking about, Oh,
- 37:55Speaker 5: it's boring, you know, the way it's all run game
- 37:57Speaker 5: in the NFL.
- 37:58Speaker 6: Points are down. We got the solution for you.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Two defenses which aren't very good, two quarterbacks which are
- 38:04Speaker 5: are electric and can run the ball.
- 38:06Speaker 6: Not a lot of stops in this game. I feel
- 38:08Speaker 6: great about.
- 38:08Speaker 5: This one, Commanders and the Cardinals going over and giving
- 38:11Speaker 5: us a good show on Sunday, tune in in the
- 38:13Speaker 5: late afternoon window.
- 38:15Speaker 4: I promised that until it happened, I'm gonna go with
- 38:17Speaker 4: the brock Powers touchdown. So I'm going with that again. However,
- 38:21Speaker 4: I'm adding to it a Breese Hall touchdown. You don't
- 38:24Speaker 4: think that that entire Green Bay staff is looking at
- 38:26Speaker 4: Nathaniel Hackett saying, hey, like, just so you know, Breese
- 38:29Speaker 4: Hall's been and anzone in the past six games, and
- 38:31Speaker 4: that's from last season two. Let's just keep that going,
- 38:33Speaker 4: maybe multiple times here. But both of those things are
- 38:36Speaker 4: two things that you got to write that down, especially
- 38:38Speaker 4: the brock Powers one because I've been so right about
- 38:40Speaker 4: that one until now.
- 38:41Speaker 2: All Right, so there is two touchdowns guaranteed, well not guaranteed.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Gods they will Okay, we'll see coming up.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I have a prediction that might feel bold because it
- 38:52Speaker 2: hasn't happened thus far this season. I think Najia Harris
- 38:55Speaker 2: gets into the end zone against the Indianapolis and that
- 38:59Speaker 2: up to this point porous run.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Defense in a Steelers offense that's getting.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Better as I see it week after week after week.
- 39:06Speaker 3: And we'll see if Gred gets that. Just Gred picking
- 39:09Speaker 3: the Indianapolis, I.
- 39:10Speaker 5: Am going to I'm just surprised you didn't take a
- 39:11Speaker 5: shot at Dalen Warren there.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'm proud not taking a shot at anybody taking a
- 39:15Speaker 2: shot in you.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Guys to come back next week.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Thanks for watching Game Deviu, presented by Mercedes Bid.
