Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Welcome to another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We are breaking down new blood. Wells Adams here alongside
- 0:10Speaker 1: Tamara Judge. Tamara, I think that you want to talk
- 0:13Speaker 1: trash about my loneliness.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Yes, yes. I wanted to know if, I don't know
- 0:17Speaker 2: if anybody's watched Wells' Instagram lately, but there was some
- 0:23Speaker 2: concern on my end.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I needed to know. Are you okay?
- 0:27Speaker 2: What is going on? Are you so bored that you
- 0:30Speaker 2: are now making videos in your kitchen?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. Explain. I will explain. Um, I, this was,
- 0:39Speaker 1: this was a bit I used to do years ago. Uh,
- 0:42Speaker 1: it was a cooking, it was a cooking feature I
- 0:44Speaker 1: did called cooking wells. And it was like this kind of, uh,
- 0:48Speaker 1: a feminine character, um, that would be like on the
- 0:52Speaker 1: food network, I guess. And yeah, so it's, they're Southern
- 0:57Speaker 1: and yeah, a little feminine. It's, it's, it goes, well,
- 1:01Speaker 1: howdy there. Here he is. It's time for an episode
- 1:03Speaker 1: of cooking whales. Anyways, I used to do this bit.
- 1:05Speaker 1: People loved it. And I tell you what, I know
- 1:08Speaker 1: that you're making fun of me, but it actually paid off.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It paid off.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Wait, did you get a cooking show?
- 1:14Speaker 1: Shut the up. It got me on worst cooks in America,
- 1:18Speaker 1: celebrity edition of which I won.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It got me a show with Tyler Florence from Food
- 1:26Speaker 1: Network that we did here on iHeart called Two Dudes
- 1:30Speaker 1: in the Kitchen. And then I booked not one, but
- 1:34Speaker 1: two TV cooking shows. Well, then keep it up.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Why'd you stop?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Because I was embarrassed by it a little bit.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Well, I see why. And I was watching it going,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and I know that your wife's been traveling. She's a
- 1:48Speaker 2: cabaret in London. She was Broadway in New York and
- 1:51Speaker 2: you're at home. And all I can think of was
- 1:53Speaker 2: Tom Hanks and Castaway. And he's sitting there talking to
- 1:55Speaker 2: his volleyball or whatever that ball was. I'm like, Wells
- 1:58Speaker 2: needs help. He needs help. Somebody needs to go over
- 2:01Speaker 2: there and do like a, you know, a mental health
- 2:03Speaker 2: check because he is now talking in weird voices and
- 2:06Speaker 2: cooking in his kitchen.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that you wrote, you wrote like, let
- 2:10Speaker 1: me find the, you said you really like, is everything okay?
- 2:16Speaker 1: And I wrote, I'm very lonely here.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, God. Well, then I'm glad that you
- 2:24Speaker 2: made money off of it. Now I'm like, go for it.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Keep doing it. Keep doing it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah. But, you know, I am very lonely. And thank
- 2:33Speaker 1: God I have Trader's New Blood to watch. It is
- 2:36Speaker 1: so good. It is. I.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Shockingly good. I thought because it was nobody we knew
- 2:44Speaker 2: because I had watched the, the Australian or the UK
- 2:47Speaker 2: or whatever version of it.
- 2:48Speaker 3: And I'm like, nah, I didn't really like it.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But this is like good, like right up there with
- 2:55Speaker 2: all the reality and TV stars or whatever you want
- 3:00Speaker 2: to call them.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Dare I say, I think I like it better than
- 3:02Speaker 1: the celebrity edition. Yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Cause we had talked like, you don't, you don't know
- 3:06Speaker 2: these people. So you have expectations of certain people and these,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you just, You don't.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Can I just start out by saying, I don't understand
- 3:16Speaker 1: why the two guys from Harry Potter show up like
- 3:18Speaker 1: for like one scene and then they don't ever interact
- 3:21Speaker 1: with anybody.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Why didn't I see it again?
- 3:24Speaker 1: They were like, they were the ones who got the
- 3:27Speaker 1: big rolling cage.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Oh, and they took the mask off.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't understand what the correlation between. Okay.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Do you think anybody else is clocking that?
- 3:35Speaker 1: I think so. I would hope so.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I haven't heard anything, no talk about that. But that's
- 3:41Speaker 2: just to get you talking. They're just so smart over there.
- 3:44Speaker 2: The writers, they're so smart.
- 3:46Speaker 1: This is so good. Or what? I think that they
- 3:51Speaker 1: hosted a baking show on Food Network. And I wonder
- 3:56Speaker 1: if there's some sort of correlation, like they're going to
- 3:59Speaker 1: do some sort of crossover episode.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Probably.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Because no sense to me.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Well, I think it's going to make sense. Maybe they'll
- 4:06Speaker 2: have a bigger role.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Moving forward?
- 4:10Speaker 1: I hope so. Cause it's just like these like little, uh,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Easter eggs of the, of Ron's older brothers, uh, from
- 4:16Speaker 1: Harry Potter.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So did you have a good weekend? No reason to
- 4:21Speaker 2: be concerned.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Were you, did you keep yourself busy?
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Okay. Don't worry. I had a party. I, people came over.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It was good. It was good.
- 4:29Speaker 2: You had a party.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah. It's good for the soul. Oh, good.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Good.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And I made a pizza. We had a pizza making party.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I have a pizza. Oh, that's fun. Yeah. So everyone,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you know, got to, get drunk and then throw a
- 4:41Speaker 1: pizza in a thousand degree oven.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Where did you get your dough? Did you go to
- 4:44Speaker 2: like Trader Joe's or do you make it?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Trader Joe's.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's where I had one for my granddaughter's birthday on
- 4:51Speaker 2: the show this year. And we made pizza and all.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I love doing that. I've been doing that with my
- 4:55Speaker 3: kids since they were really little.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Really? Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's a fun thing to do, especially with their friends
- 5:00Speaker 3: and like you.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:02Speaker 1: With your friends. You got friends. I'm so excited. I know.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Everyone's like, yeah. To be honest with you, it wasn't
- 5:07Speaker 1: even a party. It was an intervention. And they were
- 5:09Speaker 1: coming over to be like, Wells, are you okay? We
- 5:10Speaker 1: got to talk about some of your problems.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I actually got the email.
- 5:17Speaker 1: The partiful invite was like, we're concerned about Wells.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You should do little skits on your Instagram now. Wife
- 5:24Speaker 2: is gone.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I'm losing my mind.
- 5:27Speaker 2: When does she come back? When are you going to
- 5:28Speaker 2: see her again?
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm going to go see her next month. And then
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'll go out again for Christmas and New Year's. We'll
- 5:34Speaker 1: spend the holidays there. And then I'll go back again
- 5:38Speaker 1: at the end of her run, which is in late January.
- 5:43Speaker 1: That's rough. I know.
- 5:46Speaker 2: That's rough.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That's showbiz, baby. Let's talk about this show. This is,
- 5:50Speaker 1: it's getting so fun. We're only in episode three and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm already like obsessed with it. Tamika and Joe reveal
- 5:56Speaker 1: themselves to their accomplices. And then we learned that both
- 6:00Speaker 1: Xavier and Katie retrieved the death warrant. Were you surprised
- 6:03Speaker 1: that they both got it?
- 6:04Speaker 2: No, I just don't think it's that easy. You have
- 6:06Speaker 2: your eye on the book.
- 6:08Speaker 3: There's got to be a way to do it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: As soon as people, you know, people move around.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I think the.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Toughest area to get it would be where Xavier got
- 6:15Speaker 2: his because it's in the entry. You're in the hallway.
- 6:17Speaker 3: People are passing through there all the time.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. Xavier already got his
- 6:23Speaker 2: and then Katie got hers right in front of him. Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Could he have not gotten both of them so she
- 6:29Speaker 2: didn't have the ability to get one?
- 6:31Speaker 1: That's a good call. I wonder. And also, Xavier was
- 6:36Speaker 1: kind of shady. I'm surprised he didn't do it. Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Maybe they couldn't.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. But I love when
- 6:44Speaker 2: they take their robes off, everybody just starts laughing.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I know. God, I want to be a traitor so bad.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I know. I just screwed up being a faithful. Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 2: It was smart for Katie to throw in that loyalty
- 6:58Speaker 2: aspect when she was talking because I truly do think
- 7:02Speaker 2: that Xavier got let go because he was trying to
- 7:06Speaker 2: get a traitor, you know, going after Katie.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Once Joe said, he's already doing traitor on traitor and
- 7:12Speaker 1: we haven't even started yet. You know, I was like,
- 7:14Speaker 1: oh yeah, he's, he's in trouble. Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 3: But then I also saw his side. I'm like, oh,
- 7:19Speaker 3: I get it now.
- 7:19Speaker 2: He's putting out there, you know, Katie could be a traitor.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Now there's suspicion on her and there's still suspicion on
- 7:25Speaker 2: her after episode four.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. And then we'll talk about who they
- 7:29Speaker 1: ended up getting out and how it doesn't. It seems
- 7:32Speaker 1: like it's a spotlight directly back on Katie, but that's
- 7:35Speaker 1: later in the episode. Tamika and Joe deliberate amongst themselves
- 7:38Speaker 1: and they choose to murder Xavier. The guards take him away.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Katie is officially given her traitor robes at breakfast next morning.
- 7:44Speaker 1: The faithfuls learn that Xavier has been murdered. Logan remembers
- 7:48Speaker 1: that Xavier was throwing Katie's name out there. Mark thinks
- 7:53Speaker 1: the traders are intimidated by strategic players, so he's going
- 7:57Speaker 1: to play dumb, which won't be hard for him.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Well, again, must I say, we were right.
- 8:05Speaker 1: We knew.
- 8:06Speaker 2: We knew that Katie was going to stay and Xavier
- 8:07Speaker 2: was going to go.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 2: He's the chosen one.
- 8:10Speaker 1: The producer in me is like, let's keep the young,
- 8:13Speaker 1: cute girl who, yeah, she has really good one-liners, I've noticed.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I know, and she's young. She's like 23 years old,
- 8:21Speaker 2: but I think she's going to be a really good
- 8:22Speaker 2: traitor if she doesn't get murdered. I know.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I mean, she's coming in tough. People are already suspecting.
- 8:35Speaker 1: After breakfast, the players start strategizing. Joe convinces Michael that
- 8:40Speaker 1: one of the traders must be athletic because they're taking
- 8:42Speaker 1: athletes out. This makes them suspicious of Victor. Poor Victor.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Poor Victor.
- 8:47Speaker 2: And then there's also a trainer there too, but he
- 8:51Speaker 2: didn't mention his name.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Fitness trainer.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Well, I mean, that's good for Joe to be talking
- 8:56Speaker 2: about that because he's not in shape. He's trying to
- 9:00Speaker 2: secure himself.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, Joe is, by the way, is
- 9:04Speaker 1: playing such a good game. I feel like.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Everyone loves him. People are crying to him. Like he is.
- 9:11Speaker 2: He, he looks like a sitcom star to me.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. It's like Kevin James. It's like the King
- 9:19Speaker 1: of Queens over there.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. I think he's from New Jersey.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 1: For the challenge, the players will collect gold from three
- 9:27Speaker 1: different crypts. They'll open the crypts using a giant battering ram.
- 9:32Speaker 1: $ 30, 000 up for grabs. Orisa and Morgan go in first
- 9:35Speaker 1: to collect $ 5, 000. And then Clyde and Tamika go in second.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Clyde retrieves a shield and $ 5, 000, which I feel like...
- 9:45Speaker 1: I thought it was smart by Tamika to be like,
- 9:47Speaker 1: I need allies, but that also can come and bite
- 9:50Speaker 1: you in the butt.
- 9:51Speaker 2: That's what I thought. I was going to ask you,
- 9:52Speaker 2: what would you have done?
- 9:53Speaker 1: I probably would have done what she did, but.
- 9:56Speaker 3: But you were out second episode.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Just kidding. i'm joking you know it started off with
- 10:04Speaker 1: worrying about my mental health now you're doing this you're
- 10:07Speaker 1: driving me to drink.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Again my poor husband right uh you know who's not
- 10:12Speaker 2: going after a shield who victor Yeah. He's like, I
- 10:17Speaker 2: am not going to have to shield. I'm going to
- 10:19Speaker 2: show that I'm a good faithful. I don't need any
- 10:22Speaker 2: suspicion on me, but yeah, he's like, no way.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah. He went in, uh, he ends up going into that,
- 10:28Speaker 1: that cage later, uh, Michael and Ben go in the crypt.
- 10:31Speaker 1: They retrieved $ 5, 000 and a top secret trader information that
- 10:35Speaker 1: says last night, two players battled in plain sight and
- 10:39Speaker 1: became a trader. Do you think that that tip helps
- 10:42Speaker 1: them really though at all? I, I, I.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Think I like the way they went about it. They
- 10:48Speaker 2: came out and it wasn't like the other people chose
- 10:53Speaker 2: less money but didn't come out and say why. They
- 10:56Speaker 2: came out and they're like, listen, we got a tip
- 10:59Speaker 2: in there and this is what happened and we're going
- 11:01Speaker 2: to expose it.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And they did.
- 11:03Speaker 2: And they told everybody. I thought that was smart.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Would you have not done that?
- 11:07Speaker 1: Well, I think that the tip only helps if someone
- 11:11Speaker 1: had caught one of the two recruits rifling through the books.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But since they didn't catch them doing that, then it
- 11:19Speaker 1: really only helps the traders.
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, but they caught the girl doing the honesty test
- 11:23Speaker 2: or whatever, they'll hold the hands and stuff. And I
- 11:26Speaker 2: think if I would have seen that too, because it
- 11:28Speaker 2: is such a weird thing to do, I would have thought,
- 11:30Speaker 2: oh my gosh, that's a recruitment.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Totally. But what I'm saying is that that is- That
- 11:38Speaker 1: clue ended up helping the traitors because it made everyone
- 11:41Speaker 1: think that a faithful was a traitor, right? Yeah. But
- 11:44Speaker 1: seeing them going through the books, it'd be like, that
- 11:46Speaker 1: was weird. They were going through the books and they
- 11:47Speaker 1: pulled out some paper and like putting up, you know, like,
- 11:50Speaker 1: then I think that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 1: But anyways, I like the clues. Like, I feel like
- 11:56Speaker 1: that's fun. Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 3: And Tamika showing Clyde that she's a good faithful.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 2: By letting him take the shield. But then she outs
- 12:03Speaker 2: him so quickly.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I know.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And I'm like, wait a minute, that could have gone
- 12:07Speaker 2: seriously wrong for you. But then what did Clyde say?
- 12:09Speaker 2: He's like, I just don't think she knows how to
- 12:11Speaker 2: play the game.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my God, she has got everybody fooled.
- 12:16Speaker 2: She's a lot like Phaedra was in our season. She
- 12:19Speaker 2: had everybody fooled.
- 12:21Speaker 1: The more I watch this, the more I'm like, I
- 12:23Speaker 1: played this, obviously I played the game wrong, but, and
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't know if I have the, the patience to
- 12:30Speaker 1: do it. But I wish I had just been the
- 12:33Speaker 1: most boring person, like never talked, never really said anything
- 12:37Speaker 1: except when I was in the interview, you know, and
- 12:39Speaker 1: then I'm on my like energy and charm.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Dan was like that on our season. And there became
- 12:48Speaker 2: a time where people are like suspicious of him because
- 12:51Speaker 2: he wouldn't talk.
- 12:54Speaker 3: So I think you have to find like that, that
- 12:55Speaker 3: happy balance.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure.
- 12:59Speaker 2: But do you know who I think is smarter than
- 13:00Speaker 2: we think?
- 13:03Speaker 3: It's Christy.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I know she's got a little bit annoying last week's episode,
- 13:06Speaker 2: but she is figuring things out. Isn't she the one
- 13:11Speaker 2: that said, like, you know what I think? I think
- 13:14Speaker 2: Xavier was fighting for it and he got murdered. And
- 13:17Speaker 2: I'm like, whoa, I don't know that I would have
- 13:19Speaker 2: thought that.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it's... It makes sense when you say it
- 13:23Speaker 1: out loud, but no one thought about it. And then
- 13:26Speaker 1: once she said out loud, everyone's like, oh yeah. And
- 13:29Speaker 1: it really, it really should paint a big X on
- 13:33Speaker 1: Katie's name because if they both were recruited to be
- 13:37Speaker 1: traders and the one name he said was Katie, then.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Well, there is a big X on her name.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I know.
- 13:44Speaker 3: I'm afraid she ain't going to last long.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I know. At the round table, Abby L immediately accuses
- 13:50Speaker 1: Arisa of grabbing a shield from the first crypt, not
- 13:53Speaker 1: telling anyone. Then Michael and Ben tell everyone about their clue. Wait,
- 13:58Speaker 1: let me ask you a question.
- 14:00Speaker 2: What is the point of not telling anyone? Like, is
- 14:04Speaker 2: that a bad thing? Like, should you tell people? Like,
- 14:08Speaker 2: does it help you to not tell people?
- 14:10Speaker 3: Because I would be.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Like, oh, I got a shield. I'm safe. Yay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 1: About the clue or the shield?
- 14:17Speaker 2: The shield.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Well, listen, if the traitors know that someone got a
- 14:21Speaker 1: shield from the two people going in, but they don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: know who was the one who grabbed it, then you're
- 14:27Speaker 1: effectively saving both people because they don't want to try
- 14:30Speaker 1: to murder somebody that might have a shield. I do
- 14:34Speaker 1: think that there is some value in that. And I
- 14:37Speaker 1: also think that there's value in not telling everyone what
- 14:41Speaker 1: the clue is because... if you just have like a
- 14:45Speaker 1: core group of people that you really trust to be
- 14:47Speaker 1: faithfuls and you just tell them it's helpful because if
- 14:51Speaker 1: the traders know what the clue is and the traders
- 14:53Speaker 1: can combat it a little bit, but I do think
- 14:56Speaker 1: that you kind of like at the round table, that's
- 14:58Speaker 1: where you have to like kind of throw it out there.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I was, I think that was smart that they kind
- 15:02Speaker 1: of like held it until that round table. Yeah. Um,
- 15:07Speaker 1: Jay and Logan mentioned that Xavier threw Katie's name out
- 15:10Speaker 1: right before he was murdered. And Jay claims he's a
- 15:14Speaker 1: body language expert. And then the show just kind of
- 15:16Speaker 1: ends there. I tell you what, my only complaints with
- 15:19Speaker 1: the show this far is like where they're ending their episodes.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I know.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I don't like that either.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Like, I want the... I'm like, you know, I'm very
- 15:28Speaker 1: type A. Like, I want the episode to end, you know...
- 15:30Speaker 1: Where it should. Yeah, like the... The traders are in
- 15:34Speaker 1: the turret and they're like, who should we pick?
- 15:36Speaker 2: Why do you think they're doing this? Just switch things up?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's weird. The run times for these episodes are shorter too.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I don't know if it's there. They've just cut off
- 15:47Speaker 1: like 20 minutes of every episode to get like two
- 15:51Speaker 1: more episodes on the back end. I'm not sure.
- 15:53Speaker 2: So there's no episode next week.
- 15:56Speaker 1: There isn't? No.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So next episode is October 8th.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Why is that?
- 16:04Speaker 2: I don't know why. Ben actually told me that. And
- 16:07Speaker 2: then when I watched it, they're like, next episode, October 8th, da, da, da, da.
- 16:12Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 16:13Speaker 3: I think that's why they rolled out two.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 2: And then after this, they're going to do one a week.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That Logan's pretty smart, though.
- 16:21Speaker 1: He is.
- 16:22Speaker 2: He's quiet. He walks around, doesn't say much. But you
- 16:25Speaker 2: have to be careful of those quiet months.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Oh, I know. And he's got that Southern accent.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 16:30Speaker 3: And definitely, it's Victor's lucky day.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah. right with the truth test and as soon as
- 16:36Speaker 2: that was said he's like oh i'm jumping in on
- 16:38Speaker 2: that yeah i thought that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Was weird why didn't she do it to.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Me it's like calm down victor calm.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Down yeah um all right so we're back at the
- 16:50Speaker 1: round table at the start of episode four uh jay
- 16:53Speaker 1: makes the big announcement um Naya brings up the conversation
- 16:58Speaker 1: back to Victor. Victor claims that Michael's behavior is suspicious.
- 17:01Speaker 1: He's loud. He's a lawyer and he knows how to
- 17:04Speaker 1: command a room. And then Joe jumps in to defend Michael.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Players vote. Before the vote, who did you think was
- 17:12Speaker 1: going to get the most votes? Victor.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I thought it was. I felt like it kind of
- 17:16Speaker 2: fell flat with Arisa. Is that how you say her name?
- 17:20Speaker 2: I thought it was just falling flat. But what was
- 17:22Speaker 2: the whole thing where Jay was about to make a
- 17:24Speaker 2: big announcement?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Then he claims he's been taking a beat. So he
- 17:29Speaker 2: doesn't actually have a name to throw out. What did
- 17:31Speaker 2: that even mean?
- 17:31Speaker 3: I didn't understand what that meant.
- 17:33Speaker 1: You know what it reminds me of? Was it Dan
- 17:35Speaker 1: that did that? It was like, I've got something to
- 17:39Speaker 1: tell you guys, but I got to wait a little bit.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And it's like kind of holding you hostage for like
- 17:44Speaker 1: waiting for like when you are going to release this information.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Well, he's getting on everybody's nerves.
- 17:50Speaker 1: He is. Really bad.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I would just vote him out because he's annoying.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. It's interesting that he's like, my game
- 17:59Speaker 1: plan is to be so chaotic that traders love me
- 18:03Speaker 1: and they'll keep me around, which is kind of smart.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's kind of what, I feel like it's what Tom
- 18:08Speaker 1: Sandoval did, but didn't mean to do.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's a fine line between chaotic and annoying.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 2: You know, it's like, dude, enough is enough.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. He seemed very, very annoying.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Well, you know who's annoying is Arisa. She's pissed. She's
- 18:24Speaker 2: just like, it sucks when you're getting ganged up on.
- 18:27Speaker 2: You know you're right. Like she like you could tell
- 18:31Speaker 2: that girl gets activated. She's one girl I wouldn't want
- 18:33Speaker 2: to be in a fight with.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Totally.
- 18:36Speaker 2: But she gets voted out. I was shocked.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I know. Listen, they had a good case against her
- 18:42Speaker 1: with the with the clue and the, you know, the
- 18:46Speaker 1: Asking if you're a traitor and looking suspicious.
- 18:49Speaker 2: That's why when you do too much at the beginning,
- 18:51Speaker 2: people are looking at you. Guys, if you go in
- 18:53Speaker 2: just low profile at the beginning, because there's not many clues.
- 18:57Speaker 2: So they're looking for anything. You look cross-eyed and people
- 19:00Speaker 2: are like, oh, traitor.
- 19:02Speaker 1: It's so frustrating getting accused and getting thrown out of
- 19:05Speaker 1: the show. And you're like, you idiots.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Were you murdered or banished?
- 19:11Speaker 1: I was murdered. No, I was banished. Banished.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I think that's rougher.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 2: It's amongst your peers.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah. And you're like, what, when did this, what happened? Like,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I thought we were voting for someone else, but then,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you know, the last person to know is always the idiot.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And that was me. So after the round table, uh,
- 19:39Speaker 1: Kind of a sweet moment happens where Michael approaches Joe
- 19:42Speaker 1: and thanks him for defending him at the round table.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Michael gets emotional. You know, he says something to the
- 19:48Speaker 1: effect of like, not only was this version of himself
- 19:51Speaker 1: being stood up for, but the 14 year old gay
- 19:54Speaker 1: lonely kid from Long Island was too.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah. That was very touching.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I know. And it's so sweet. And I feel bad
- 20:01Speaker 1: for Joe in this moment.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Well, I think being a traitor is starting to get
- 20:05Speaker 2: to him.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 3: And especially after Michael's emotional speech.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I know. And he's sitting there being like, he starts
- 20:13Speaker 1: crying like in the room and also an interview. And
- 20:15Speaker 1: he's like, I know they're going to watch us back.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Like he's, Michael's going to watch us back and be
- 20:20Speaker 1: like that asshole.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Who do you think is the biggest character on the show?
- 20:24Speaker 2: Like the one, I mean, I feel like we see
- 20:26Speaker 2: so much of Joe, not just because he's a traitor.
- 20:29Speaker 3: He's just, I don't know.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Do you think?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah. He's animated. He's also, everyone likes him.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Very gregarious soul that like, So I think that if
- 20:42Speaker 1: it was anybody else, they'd be like, it's suspicious how
- 20:44Speaker 1: like animated you always are. But like, I think that
- 20:47Speaker 1: everyone just loves him. Yeah. I think he's going to go,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you know, my, my thought is. I think that Joe
- 20:54Speaker 1: is going to go a long way. I think it's
- 20:56Speaker 1: going to take a long time for people to figure
- 20:57Speaker 1: out that he's a traitor. And I think Victor is
- 21:01Speaker 1: going to make it. Like the guy who's like every week,
- 21:03Speaker 1: he's like, they're going to banish me. And then they don't.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They don't. They stick around forever.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Guy isn't going to need Xanax when he gets.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Out of there. Sherry is talking to Abby L. She
- 21:18Speaker 1: mentions there can't be three female traitors. Abby gets suspicious.
- 21:21Speaker 1: How would Sherry know that there are?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Well, I mean, historically speaking, if you watch the show,
- 21:27Speaker 2: there's three traitors.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 21:30Speaker 2: They– I would have assumed that they recruited two at
- 21:34Speaker 2: the beginning. And then that night before they brought somebody
- 21:37Speaker 2: else in, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
- 21:39Speaker 2: But then again, when you start off in the early days,
- 21:43Speaker 2: you pick up on every little thing. Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I agree with you. Like if you have any knowledge
- 21:48Speaker 1: of the show, generally it's dark. The show starts with
- 21:51Speaker 1: three traders and no traders have been killed yet. So
- 21:55Speaker 1: it wouldn't be too, you know, I mean, I guess
- 21:57Speaker 1: it could be four, but.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Well, at least we're getting Sherry to talk a little bit.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. She was at the round table and
- 22:06Speaker 1: I was like, I haven't noticed that you were on
- 22:11Speaker 1: this show.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I know. There was somebody else too that I'm like, wow,
- 22:14Speaker 2: that person hasn't talked at all.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah. But that means they're going to be- Wyatt. Wyatt.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That's who it is. That means they're going to be
- 22:21Speaker 1: there for a long time because they've got big storylines
- 22:24Speaker 1: down the road. Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I think so too.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah. That night, the traitors meet the turret. Joe and
- 22:31Speaker 1: Tamika applaud Katie for her performance during the day. They
- 22:34Speaker 1: nickname her the teeny traitor, which is very funny.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Very cute.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And for tonight's murder, they are going between Logan, Abby L.
- 22:42Speaker 1: and Mark. Who do you think they should choose?
- 22:45Speaker 3: Logan.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I mean, if they're smart, but of course it's going
- 22:48Speaker 2: to put suspicion on Katie. And I love how Joe
- 22:52Speaker 2: was like, well, that's going to put suspicion on you.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And then later on, you see them talking. He's like,
- 22:57Speaker 2: oh no, it's going to be fine.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah. He's like, as long as it's not on me. Yeah. Well, it's,
- 23:02Speaker 1: he's also smart. Cause he lets, I believe he says,
- 23:05Speaker 1: let's let the tiny trader. Yeah.
- 23:07Speaker 2: She, she got to figure it out.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So listen, she chooses the guy who has been saying
- 23:13Speaker 1: her name. So she's putting, she's putting some heat on herself,
- 23:17Speaker 1: but she's made the decision. So Joe has like plausible deniability.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Like you made that decision. I didn't.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Well, I think she was pretty screwed. I think that
- 23:26Speaker 2: Logan was going to go and really go hard on her.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so too.
- 23:30Speaker 2: But then she can also come back and say, this
- 23:33Speaker 2: is a setup.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Totally.
- 23:35Speaker 2: First, this person says something about me, they get murdered.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Now this person, I'm being set up. Why would I
- 23:40Speaker 2: do that? That would be stupid of me to do
- 23:42Speaker 2: that as a traitor.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. And then what you have when you are
- 23:46Speaker 1: a trader is you have numbers, right? So you've got
- 23:49Speaker 1: two other people who can defend you or vote from
- 23:52Speaker 1: you to like get the numbers to be right. So yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I think she's going to be okay. But yeah, interesting choice.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I might've waited like another night before getting Logan and
- 24:06Speaker 1: seeing if you could like get the heat on Logan
- 24:08Speaker 1: to look somewhere else.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Somewhere else, yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 2: True, true.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Jay is continuing to tell people he's going to suss
- 24:16Speaker 1: out a traitor today and he'll reveal their identity at
- 24:19Speaker 1: the roundtable tonight.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Stop.
- 24:21Speaker 2: He's just so much. He needs to tone it down.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's annoying.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And. Well, he keeps telling people he has names and
- 24:30Speaker 2: he'll let them know later.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 2: And I'm like, people are going to get really annoyed.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I know.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I mean, Sherry finally found her voice and called him out.
- 24:39Speaker 2: She's like, you need to tell us now. The roundtable
- 24:42Speaker 2: is too late. Like, we need to marinate on this
- 24:44Speaker 2: and think about this.
- 24:47Speaker 1: For today's challenge, the players must move barrels with $ 24, 000
- 24:50Speaker 1: in them. They'll come across gates along the way, which
- 24:54Speaker 1: they'll need to follow instructions to open them. To top
- 24:57Speaker 1: it off there, being chased by the quote-unquote death parade.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Whoever the death parade catches up with will be placed
- 25:05Speaker 1: on the shortlist for the murder tonight. The death parade
- 25:08Speaker 1: catches Mark, Victor, Naya, Morgan, Tamika, Christy, Sherry, Clyde, Abiel,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and Joe. So that's who's up for murder. At the
- 25:17Speaker 1: end of the challenge, everyone is extremely annoyed with Jay.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Well, we find out that Jay did parades with his wife.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I'm like, what?
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Really?
- 25:32Speaker 2: I didn't think he was married.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't think he was married. To a woman.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I just, I didn't.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 25:44Speaker 3: It's not shocking.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Like we're, I mean, I feel bad that I'm saying like,
- 25:48Speaker 2: is Jay's married, but he is defending himself on Instagram.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Like a lot of people have brought it up. Like
- 25:56Speaker 2: they really, he's just says he's flamboyant. Okay.
- 26:01Speaker 1: At the round table, Jay starts things off by claiming
- 26:04Speaker 1: Katie is a traitor. And that's where the episode ends.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I feel like Katie has such a good defense here
- 26:13Speaker 1: to be like, You're just annoying, dude. And I don't
- 26:17Speaker 1: like you because you're annoying. Right, right.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And because he's so over the top and he keeps
- 26:23Speaker 2: going after her, I would just be like, just go away.
- 26:27Speaker 3: You're annoying.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I love when he's in the dining room, everybody's getting
- 26:32Speaker 2: food and they leave him there all by himself. Nobody
- 26:34Speaker 2: wants to sit in there because he's in there. He's
- 26:37Speaker 2: not going to last. That's how we had somebody on
- 26:39Speaker 2: our cast like that too. So annoying.
- 26:41Speaker 3: It's like, fucking leave, please. But you don't want to
- 26:44Speaker 3: be around you.
- 26:45Speaker 1: What's going to end up happening is that he's going
- 26:47Speaker 1: to get banished probably. Not even because people think he's
- 26:52Speaker 1: a traitor because they're annoyed by his antics and they
- 26:54Speaker 1: just need that kind of toxicity out of the house.
- 26:58Speaker 2: But somebody did say when they were talking, they're like,
- 27:00Speaker 2: we can't just get rid of him because he's annoying.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I know.
- 27:04Speaker 3: So who knows?
- 27:05Speaker 2: But now Michael is suspicious of Katie. I know.
- 27:08Speaker 1: So I, what I think is going to end up
- 27:09Speaker 1: happening is that he will be banished because he's annoying.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And then he's going to get up there and then
- 27:15Speaker 1: he's going to say, I'm a faithful. And the last
- 27:17Speaker 1: thing he's going to say is Katie's a traitor. And
- 27:19Speaker 1: then Katie's going to be, you know, she's going to be, yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 3: And then people are going to be like, maybe you're right.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Sweet little Katie.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, Xavier, then this guy, like Katie, the
- 27:33Speaker 1: round table.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Starts off with everybody claiming Katie's a traitor, right? Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 3: And that's where it ends.
- 27:39Speaker 1: That's where it kind of ends.
- 27:40Speaker 2: But Alan comes out with his sleeveless shirt on, doing
- 27:44Speaker 2: a little gun show with his arms.
- 27:47Speaker 1: He's looking good these days. I know. And does he
- 27:51Speaker 1: have the best job in Hollywood?
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:53Speaker 1: It's a pretty good one, I think.
- 27:56Speaker 3: What did Jay say at the end?
- 27:58Speaker 2: That he's been collecting information.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I'm like, isn't everybody collecting information? Is that how the
- 28:04Speaker 2: game works?
- 28:06Speaker 1: If i'm i'm so and if someone annoys me i'm
- 28:09Speaker 1: not listening to them at all you know like i'd
- 28:12Speaker 1: be like i don't care to me i don't hear
- 28:15Speaker 1: what your information says shut.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Up and he calls it chaos i'm like that's not
- 28:21Speaker 2: chaos yeah well i don't know it's just annoying at
- 28:25Speaker 2: this point people are annoyed by it but he could
- 28:28Speaker 2: have just like dropped bombs and not being so yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You know who's kind of quiet in this episode your
- 28:35Speaker 1: friend ben Very quiet. Yeah. That's good news for Ben.
- 28:39Speaker 1: That means Ben's sticking around a while.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I have no, I'm like, I didn't even know he
- 28:44Speaker 2: was on the show.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 3: And then he wouldn't even tell me until he could
- 28:50Speaker 3: tell me. And I'm like, oh, okay. So you're not
- 28:51Speaker 3: going to tell me if you last long, if you win,
- 28:55Speaker 3: you're not going to tell me, huh?
- 28:56Speaker 2: And he said, no.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So if, you know, eventually they're going to get a
- 29:00Speaker 1: trader and eventually there'll be another recruitment of the faithfuls
- 29:04Speaker 1: that are around right now, who would you choose to
- 29:07Speaker 1: be the next trader? If you were a trader?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Oh, shoot. That's a tough one.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Um, Victor, no, I'm just kidding.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I was thinking that too.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I know. Well, kind of, I mean, only the only
- 29:22Speaker 2: bad thing is there's so much, well, he's got the
- 29:24Speaker 2: other traders to stick.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Up for him.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's also a shield for the other traders.
- 29:28Speaker 1: It's like, well, if Victor's a trader, they're going after
- 29:32Speaker 1: him long before they're going after me. Right, right.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I don't know. That's a tough one. I mean, Ben
- 29:39Speaker 2: would be a good one. because nobody suspects anything from him.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Yeah. You know who I like? I want, especially if
- 29:45Speaker 1: I was Joe, I'd want Michael.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah. He'd be a smart one to have as a
- 29:50Speaker 2: traitor for sure.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I also love Abby Lee. who is an astrophysicist might
- 29:56Speaker 1: be the smartest person that has ever been casted.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Probably absolutely the smartest person.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 1: And is so incredibly wrong about everything on the show.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And it just goes to show you that like, yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 1: like you can be the smartest guy in the room
- 30:11Speaker 1: and still be like the dumbest guy in the room.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I think it's in this game for sure.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, cause like Jay is annoying, but he's
- 30:20Speaker 1: a physician. So he's smart, but like, he's annoying, but
- 30:22Speaker 1: he's also right. You know, like Katie.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Would you go to him?
- 30:27Speaker 1: I talk.
- 30:28Speaker 3: I got this pain.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Yeah. You're going to be okay.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Like a Broadway. He does parades.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I can't. Oh, yeah. Well, the show's very, very fun.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe we can get an interview because we're going
- 30:51Speaker 2: to have a week off if we don't. So who
- 30:54Speaker 2: would you like? We'd have to get somebody that's already gone.
- 30:57Speaker 2: What about, who was.
- 31:00Speaker 3: The first girl that was?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Oh, Kim. Kim left early.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Kim and then?
- 31:05Speaker 1: Madeline left.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Madeline.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I would have loved to see more of her.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I know.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Maybe we can get X on here. He was on
- 31:15Speaker 2: Watch What Happens Live, which made me believe. Yeah, he
- 31:17Speaker 2: was a bartender, which made me believe that he got
- 31:20Speaker 2: let go early.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah. And he did. By the way, they're filming the
- 31:27Speaker 1: new season of Traders right now. I know.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I know.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Have you been checking for the upcoming cast to see
- 31:34Speaker 1: who's back on social media yet?
- 31:37Speaker 2: No, because you can't. I'm going to now, but they
- 31:40Speaker 2: tell you you can't.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Oh, I definitely started posting right when I got here.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Did you?
- 31:46Speaker 2: So I couldn't do my podcast. Really? Nope. I had
- 31:50Speaker 2: to like, yeah, I had to take the rest of
- 31:52Speaker 2: the month off until they finished filming before I can
- 31:54Speaker 2: even go on my podcast.
- 31:55Speaker 3: So it actually cost me more money.
- 31:57Speaker 1: To go film. You lost money on this deal.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I lost money on that deal. Yeah.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Hit us up on by order of the faithfuls over
- 32:06Speaker 1: on Instagram. We're taking next week off. Well, there is
- 32:10Speaker 1: no episode next week, but we might have an interview
- 32:13Speaker 1: fingers crossed. If not, then we'll just see you in
- 32:16Speaker 1: two weeks to recap episode five.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Do you follow the cast?
- 32:23Speaker 1: Like my buddy Joey's on the show. So I like,
- 32:26Speaker 1: I follow him and, but Joey's done a very funny thing.
- 32:30Speaker 1: where he gave his fiance, his, uh, his password to
- 32:33Speaker 1: his social media. And so she's taken over a social
- 32:36Speaker 1: media and basically like just trolling him.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Uh, Oh my God, that is funny.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Very, very funny.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I love trolling my husband. It makes my day.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Did you happen to see the picture of him in
- 32:51Speaker 2: the shower with the dogs that I posted?
- 32:54Speaker 1: No.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Oh, All right. Well, hopefully we'll get a interview for
- 32:59Speaker 2: next week.
- 33:00Speaker 3: And if not, I'll see you the week after.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Do you want me to cook anything for you on
- 33:04Speaker 1: Instagram tonight? Well, I would.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yes, I would.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Yeah. What's your dish? I'll make a.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 33:11Speaker 3: What'd you make the other night?
- 33:13Speaker 1: It was squid ink pasta.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I thought it was pasta.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I'd like you to make some chicken piccata.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Okay. All right. I got you.
