- 1:24Speaker 4: Also a lot of entertainment stuff that I think you
- 1:27Speaker 4: might find interesting. I know you want the birthdays and
- 1:29Speaker 4: the porno birthday.
- 1:30Speaker 5: We'll get to those.
- 1:31Speaker 4: That'll all be coming up for you this hour here
- 1:34Speaker 4: on The Woody Show. I mean, and just in general,
- 1:36Speaker 4: how are you feeling about work these days, now that
- 1:39Speaker 4: we're getting into another new workday?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Yeah, how do you feel about it?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Greg in jail?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Yeah, just in general? The other day, Greg, He's just
- 1:45Speaker 4: telling us how he held loving it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Now these are some new numbers from a study where
- 1:51Speaker 4: the researchers they look to the state of the workforce,
- 1:54Speaker 4: the current companies people work for, in the current financial
- 1:57Speaker 4: issues like savings, rising costs, you know, retire. One of
- 2:00Speaker 4: the questions was would you quit if you could, and
- 2:04Speaker 4: then they got into the different reasons and circumstances. I could,
- 2:09Speaker 4: and I don't.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Heavily answer that question every day, so I can't.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, like every day I come in here and I
- 2:15Speaker 4: come to work, so I could. I think I'd be
- 2:19Speaker 4: fine for a couple of weeks and then I would
- 2:21Speaker 4: start going stir crazy. Yeah exactly, I would have to
- 2:24Speaker 4: do something. But I think the idea is more to
- 2:27Speaker 4: end up doing things more on your own terms, agree
- 2:30Speaker 4: or disagree.
- 2:33Speaker 6: These days, you don't need an excuse to do anything.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Anything you want to do, you can find a way
- 2:38Speaker 6: to do it.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Well, give us an example. So Greg's this sounds like
- 2:41Speaker 4: if you want more money, make more money that you
- 2:44Speaker 4: want to. Because Greg's very much a believer, like you know,
- 2:47Speaker 4: like you tell kids like, oh, you could be anything
- 2:49Speaker 4: you want. Nobody ever told him that they could.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Otherwise, what is a very easy example with his flight lessons,
- 2:55Speaker 6: Like he wanted to fly a plane, how to fly
- 2:57Speaker 6: a plane?
- 2:58Speaker 5: I can fly whenever he wants to.
- 2:59Speaker 6: But even IF's so thing like if you want to
- 3:01Speaker 6: get into electrical engineering, you can get parts delivered to
- 3:04Speaker 6: you and get three D printers to design those things. Yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 6: I'm watching a video right now, or a guy made
- 3:10Speaker 6: and built out of out of like internet plans and
- 3:13Speaker 6: his own three D printer an e MP gun.
- 3:15Speaker 5: So he can hear that.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Kids, was electronic your pulses to like disabled TV just
- 3:21Speaker 6: for fun, just to see. So yeah, it's it's so
- 3:23Speaker 6: easy to get things with the Internet and to learn
- 3:25Speaker 6: how to do things with the Internet that anything you
- 3:27Speaker 6: want to do you can do.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, just don't be lazy. Yeah that's it.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to have the time. Sometimes you need
- 3:33Speaker 4: to have the finances to be able to you know,
- 3:34Speaker 4: do certain things, buy certain things or whatever, but get
- 3:38Speaker 4: if you like, would you quit if you could?
- 3:41Speaker 5: No?
- 3:42Speaker 3: No, I mean it depends on the amount, Like if
- 3:45Speaker 3: I had a huge nest egg.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Sure right, then that goes more into like would you
- 3:50Speaker 4: not work at all or would you just do things
- 3:52Speaker 4: on your own?
- 3:53Speaker 7: Turn?
- 3:53Speaker 3: So like Okay, taking the money factor out of it, No,
- 3:56Speaker 3: I wouldn't work again.
- 3:57Speaker 1: No, no, I wouldn't quit.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I know, men has got to stay busy, you know. Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 4: so what would you do?
- 4:03Speaker 5: Would you just go to open houses?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Anti? Would?
- 4:08Speaker 4: Fifty three percent said they are coasting, disengaged, or already
- 4:12Speaker 4: planning to leave their current job. Fun so when they
- 4:15Speaker 4: were talking to people, again, this is about the current
- 4:17Speaker 4: state of the workforce. Fifty percent would quit their job
- 4:21Speaker 4: within three months if they felt financially secure.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Forty five percent said their savings wouldn't last more than
- 4:28Speaker 4: three months without income. I feel that, So your retirement
- 4:31Speaker 4: would last a whole three months. Now, that's assuming that
- 4:33Speaker 4: nothing else happens, nothing else goes wrong in that time,
- 4:36Speaker 4: your car doesn't explode, the emergency doesn't come up of
- 4:38Speaker 4: some kind. Sixty percent six zero said higher pay would
- 4:42Speaker 4: motivate them enough to leave. Seventy eight percent said that
- 4:45Speaker 4: compensation is the top reason for changing jobs. That makes sense.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Sixty percent are confident they could find a similar or
- 4:52Speaker 4: better paying job within three months. Oh wow, that's the
- 4:56Speaker 4: other wildcarry Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Yeah, go for it for yeah, challenge accepted.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's that is the other wild card, like
- 5:04Speaker 4: is there something available something that you would want to do? Really,
- 5:07Speaker 4: there are those coaches, I hate to use the word coach.
- 5:11Speaker 4: There are those people, and I don't know what they're
- 5:13Speaker 4: called placement. Yeah, but so you go and you meet
- 5:20Speaker 4: with them and just based on things that they can,
- 5:22Speaker 4: you know, tests or whatever they can give you, or
- 5:24Speaker 4: the conversations they have with you, they can kind of
- 5:26Speaker 4: figure out like if I'm doing this now, this job now,
- 5:29Speaker 4: but I want to do something else, I'm not quite
- 5:31Speaker 4: sure what I'm cut out to do or what I
- 5:34Speaker 4: might be capable of applying for, or a job I
- 5:38Speaker 4: might not have known exists. You go and you meet
- 5:40Speaker 4: with these people and they go, hey, you should apply
- 5:42Speaker 4: for jobs in this field or doing these kind of things.
- 5:45Speaker 4: There was a guy and he worked for Ramsey, Dave
- 5:48Speaker 4: Ramsey Seas Ken Coleman.
- 5:51Speaker 5: I think it's his name.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Familiar, Yeah, And he he's got like a whole system
- 5:55Speaker 4: or a whole book. I can't remember what it was
- 5:58Speaker 4: called Ken, Look look up Ken Coleman Coleman co O
- 6:02Speaker 4: L E M A N. And he's got like a
- 6:05Speaker 4: whole system that can help you if you want to
- 6:06Speaker 4: reinvent yourself career coach. Career coach, Yeah, career coach. See coach.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I don't like that.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's kind of like it.
- 6:12Speaker 4: It's like life coach. We were talking about like ds professions.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Find the work you're wired to do.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Yeah, right, kind of an interesting Yeah, I know that'st
- 6:22Speaker 8: thing like when you're staying I think because a lot
- 6:24Speaker 8: of times, like you just get up and you go
- 6:26Speaker 8: to work because you have to, because you got bills
- 6:27Speaker 8: to pay, and you got these and you you don't
- 6:29Speaker 8: know what else you could do, so.
- 6:30Speaker 4: You just stay in the thing that you're already doing.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Stay safe, because it's from rife, from paycheck to purpose paycheck.
- 6:37Speaker 4: It's gross term.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I get that.
- 6:39Speaker 6: The only problem with Dave Ramsey is now that he's
- 6:41Speaker 6: like soft retired. Anytime I tuned into Dave Ramsey, it's
- 6:45Speaker 6: like three other people that are right part of his team,
- 6:49Speaker 6: but they're never as mean and funny.
- 6:50Speaker 5: As Dave Ramsey. The great thing about Dave Ramsey is
- 6:53Speaker 5: when some dopes.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Like, well, I like I got my Chanel bags and
- 6:56Speaker 6: I make twelve thousand dollars a year, you can't afford it.
- 7:00Speaker 6: He calls him stupid, but all his because he's so Christian.
- 7:02Speaker 6: All of his like little buddies are all his little
- 7:04Speaker 6: people like this Kin Coleman guy and his daughter and whoever, Like, well,
- 7:07Speaker 6: now we need to talk.
- 7:08Speaker 4: That's why you go. But if you go on to
- 7:10Speaker 4: his podcast, go to the old episode, you can pull
- 7:12Speaker 4: up episodes from like twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, and like
- 7:15Speaker 4: it's just him at that point, because you're right, I've
- 7:17Speaker 4: done the same thing where it's like somebody else sitting
- 7:18Speaker 4: in from like forget it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's not
- 7:22Speaker 4: as good, right, too nice anyway, Ken Coleman k e
- 7:26Speaker 4: n like Barbie Ken Coleman. And if you're interested in
- 7:30Speaker 4: that kind of thing. There's another question. I was talking
- 7:33Speaker 4: to uh to my buddy is and he and his
- 7:36Speaker 4: wife asked medicine. I a pretty pointed question, and you know,
- 7:40Speaker 4: let me let me take the break. We'll come back
- 7:42Speaker 4: on that one. But it's another one and just another.
- 7:44Speaker 9: Way to maybe it was kind of difficult. It is
- 7:46Speaker 9: a it's a difficult question, but I fully understand it,
- 7:49Speaker 9: and I understand it.
- 7:51Speaker 4: But it's another way to attack your life, like another
- 7:54Speaker 4: approach to life that can help you out so that
- 7:57Speaker 4: you're not getting up every day just dreading God.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, yeah show.
- 8:07Speaker 4: All right, welcome back. Here's the here's the question. We're
- 8:11Speaker 4: talking some of these numbers. Right before the break, people
- 8:14Speaker 4: were asked the question would you quit your job if
- 8:17Speaker 4: you could? And they got into the different reasons and
- 8:19Speaker 4: circumstances and things. Then we started talking about, you know,
- 8:22Speaker 4: what else would you be cut out to do? Like
- 8:23Speaker 4: people who are like, why are you staying in this
- 8:25Speaker 4: job if you're not super happy with it?
- 8:27Speaker 3: But don't you think ninety percent of people just.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Have a job.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Why don't you pursue something that you would be more
- 8:35Speaker 4: interested in because they get comfortable, because they get routine.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, are they're scared?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah? Right exactly. And so we're talking to this guy,
- 8:42Speaker 4: Ken Coleman C O L E. M. E. N. He's
- 8:44Speaker 4: got a book like career Coach, basically to help you take,
- 8:49Speaker 4: you know, answers to these questions, to give you the
- 8:51Speaker 4: answer to what else you might be cut out to do?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Interesting to find like the job that you're supposed to
- 8:56Speaker 4: be doing, not just the job that you're currently doing. Anyway,
- 9:00Speaker 4: Medics and I were going out to eat with my
- 9:03Speaker 4: buddy Rizzuto and his wife, and they asked us a
- 9:07Speaker 4: question because they were just having this conversation and they
- 9:10Speaker 4: were getting in this time of their life, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 4: with their kids are in high school. One's about to
- 9:16Speaker 4: get out of high school here kind of soon. What
- 9:18Speaker 4: do we do next, Like after these kids are out
- 9:20Speaker 4: of the house, out of high school, then what And
- 9:23Speaker 4: Rizon and I are very much in the same you know,
- 9:25Speaker 4: boat on that kind of thinging My wife and I
- 9:27Speaker 4: are having the same conversation. But the question was what's
- 9:30Speaker 4: your perfect day? Now? The question being not a perfect
- 9:34Speaker 4: day necessarily on vacation, but if you could just design
- 9:36Speaker 4: your perfect day for your life, what would that be?
- 9:40Speaker 4: Like what time would you get up, what would you
- 9:41Speaker 4: be doing that day? Maybe there is some time for
- 9:44Speaker 4: work or whatever, like what kind of things would you
- 9:46Speaker 4: be interested in doing? Because the idea is, and I
- 9:49Speaker 4: forget who they were listening to or reading, the idea
- 9:54Speaker 4: was you take your perfect day, and then you build
- 9:58Speaker 4: your work that you do around your perfect day to
- 10:01Speaker 4: fit in as opposed to fitting your life and the
- 10:04Speaker 4: things you want to do into whatever you do for
- 10:06Speaker 4: work and around work, you.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Create work in outside your perfect day.
- 10:12Speaker 4: You create a life and a schedule and then whatever
- 10:17Speaker 4: that then work has to fit into it, so it's
- 10:21Speaker 4: kind of it's an interesting Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So I'd have to work when I'm sleeping then like
- 10:27Speaker 3: perfect day. Right when you said that, the first thing
- 10:30Speaker 3: that came to my mind was not, like, all right,
- 10:32Speaker 3: so eight hours.
- 10:33Speaker 4: At work, No, it's a thing. It's like, it doesn't
- 10:34Speaker 4: have to be eight hours a week. Yeah, you could
- 10:37Speaker 4: do something like, you know, it's not that you're not working,
- 10:39Speaker 4: you're not earning money or whatever, but restrict yourself.
- 10:42Speaker 10: That's the part that I was like, I'm like, wait
- 10:45Speaker 10: what And then I I go, okay, cool. I would
- 10:48Speaker 10: kind of just like shift things around, you know, the
- 10:52Speaker 10: time that we did the show and things like that,
- 10:54Speaker 10: and then it was a lot easier to answer the question.
- 10:57Speaker 11: Yeah, I think in a lot of ways, I live
- 11:00Speaker 11: my perfect day almost every day because it involves.
- 11:04Speaker 4: I do because I want the alarm clock part right.
- 11:07Speaker 11: But I'm saying just in general, I work on projects
- 11:10Speaker 11: that are fun for me. I you know, make like
- 11:13Speaker 11: knit little things for people. I work on, you know,
- 11:16Speaker 11: personal projects. I spend time with my maybe my husband
- 11:19Speaker 11: and my dogs.
- 11:19Speaker 4: So maybe yours is not that far off, Like maybe it's.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Like okay, well, little day adventures.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Let's just say eventually, you know, doing a job like
- 11:28Speaker 4: this just requires you to create a certain number of
- 11:31Speaker 4: hours of content of show per day or per week,
- 11:35Speaker 4: whatever that would be. It doesn't necessarily have to be
- 11:38Speaker 4: you get up in the middle of the night to
- 11:39Speaker 4: do it. You could do it at any time of
- 11:41Speaker 4: the day. Like how podcasters do you know kind of thing.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That was my thing.
- 11:45Speaker 10: I was like, yeah, we would, you know, do it
- 11:48Speaker 10: at ten am or eleven am, right, we would record
- 11:52Speaker 10: it and do it.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And it would take less time obviously, correct.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I mean, I'm on board of that. Like I was like,
- 11:59Speaker 3: still me would be getting up at like six.
- 12:03Speaker 10: Maybe even Yeah, I would actually like go out and
- 12:08Speaker 10: have breakfast, yeah, and like actually maybe go to a
- 12:12Speaker 10: restaurant and then go and record the show.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Ever since I've been a full time worker, it's been
- 12:18Speaker 3: my fantasy to do what I see in movies and
- 12:21Speaker 3: TV where you get up and then you have the
- 12:24Speaker 3: breakfast coffee and they always have a picture of orange juice.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Everybody's doing stuff. Who lives like full morning before you
- 12:35Speaker 3: go to work. It seems like a movie to me,
- 12:38Speaker 3: Like that would be awesome.
- 12:40Speaker 4: It's just another interesting way to kind of almost reverse engineer.
- 12:44Speaker 4: A lot of people they just go with whatever they
- 12:46Speaker 4: do for work, and everything else has to fit around that,
- 12:48Speaker 4: as opposed to, this is my life and then everything
- 12:50Speaker 4: else fits around whatever you want your life to be. Right.
- 12:53Speaker 3: That reminds me of that question, like if today was
- 12:56Speaker 3: the last day on earth, what would you do? And
- 12:57Speaker 3: then the follow up question is why aren't you doing it?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Because it's not my last day? And I got to
- 13:01Speaker 4: see myself and shelter myself.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I don't know what cocaine is, right, So.
- 13:08Speaker 4: What would yours be? Just just think something to think about.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Eight seven seven forty four.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Woodie Show.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Alright, Samana Tampers stuff. We'll get the birthday's Corno birthday
- 13:24Speaker 4: here in a second. So Millie Bobby Brown, Yes, stranger Things,
- 13:28Speaker 4: married to uh John Bond Jobe's son.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Yeah, your son's crush.
- 13:32Speaker 4: And they have they have this baby. They have a daughter,
- 13:36Speaker 4: and now we know the name of the daughter, old
- 13:40Speaker 4: timy name. Oh alright, Greg uh Olivia. We use his name,
- 13:46Speaker 4: but we throw the name around a line.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Ruth Ruth, no.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Rude, rude like pearl Yeah Ruth.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Wow, somebody named their kid Ruth in two thousand, Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 3: I know, weird pretty funny Ruth. That's no matter who
- 14:05Speaker 3: Ruth bon Jovi.
- 14:08Speaker 5: What's worse Ruth? Or like Gert?
- 14:11Speaker 4: Like gdy Gurdy would be worse Gert. Yeah, wasn't Girdy
- 14:18Speaker 4: the name of uh Drew Barrymore's character in e t Oh,
- 14:22Speaker 4: Yeah it was. That was a little girl's name, right.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Good call Girty Girty dirty Gerty, dirty Gerty.
- 14:30Speaker 4: You guys watch Love on the Spectrum. I know you're
- 14:32Speaker 4: a big episode. All right. So Tyler White from the
- 14:37Speaker 4: Netflix show Love on the Spectrum, he released his very
- 14:39Speaker 4: first country song wait, oh yeah baby, Oh you've heard it.
- 14:44Speaker 5: I've heard it many times? DJ Ty why oh yeah baby?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Who gave us the cameo?
- 14:48Speaker 7: Right?
- 14:49Speaker 5: No, that's David.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Bus.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I sent you this song and you did not like it. Well,
- 14:56Speaker 5: I'll go ahead let you play it here.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Here's a little clu This is again. Tyler White is
- 15:01Speaker 4: a fan favorite on the show Love on the Spectrum
- 15:03Speaker 4: and this is his debut country song. This is called
- 15:07Speaker 4: oh yeah baby, yeah baby? You take that ever missing?
- 15:20Speaker 6: I'd be curious to hear him speak because that's not
- 15:23Speaker 6: his voice.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Well, oh it's not.
- 15:24Speaker 11: Seabass's argument was, that's obviously auto tuned, obviously A Well,
- 15:28Speaker 11: what I will give DJ Tye why is he his
- 15:31Speaker 11: thing is that he has perfect pitch, so like he'll
- 15:34Speaker 11: hear any song. He was like, that's blah blah blah
- 15:36Speaker 11: and the key of a flat. So maybe we're not
- 15:38Speaker 11: giving him enough credit.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Pause.
- 15:40Speaker 10: I mean, let's see, so he recorded his voice and
- 15:44Speaker 10: then the AI that I.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Say, how like, so how does he speak on the show?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Like when he's speaking, it's like, oh, you look very
- 15:51Speaker 4: pretty today, And I want to know whatever that guy's name.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Is sounds like Tanner. He has like more of a regular.
- 15:57Speaker 12: Dude because he has he he has Asperger's, doesn't like
- 16:00Speaker 12: there's a spectrum and that's specifically what he has, which
- 16:03Speaker 12: is more of a social thing.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Yeah, my buddy, Steve's got asperger You don't you think
- 16:07Speaker 4: you have? You possibly have Aspergers.
- 16:09Speaker 6: I'm not gonna claim stolen veilor no, why would that
- 16:12Speaker 6: be stolen valor the joke, Yeah, because I just know
- 16:17Speaker 6: I think that's a different part of the spectrum. What
- 16:19Speaker 6: does what does Asperger's actually mean?
- 16:21Speaker 4: Oh my god, we quit Sea mass On love on
- 16:23Speaker 4: the spectrum that I think I'm not enough.
- 16:26Speaker 12: No, there was a girl on it Calin who was
- 16:28Speaker 12: too normal, so.
- 16:33Speaker 11: Normal because they kept setting her up with normal dudes,
- 16:35Speaker 11: and then she told him she was.
- 16:36Speaker 6: To National Autistic Society says as Burger's is difficulty releading
- 16:41Speaker 6: subtle social cues, interpreting body language, or understanding sarcasm in humor.
- 16:45Speaker 6: I can do all that hyper focus or special interests.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that's okay.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Check where do you stand on trains anything?
- 16:55Speaker 6: Not that that's classic autism trains or videotaping every plane
- 16:59Speaker 6: that land sort of guy, not at all. Strong preference
- 17:02Speaker 6: for predictability and strict daily routines, not really hyper focus blah,
- 17:06Speaker 6: and sensory sensitivities.
- 17:08Speaker 4: No, I don't know about it.
- 17:11Speaker 5: You guy.
- 17:11Speaker 4: You were the guy who like constantly put your fingers
- 17:13Speaker 4: in your ears and you know, hold your.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Little sheet every day and put it in the trash.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Well, that's because that's the first off. That's because I
- 17:20Speaker 6: have good hearing. I'm like you, guys, we have I've
- 17:23Speaker 6: tested younger.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Ears younger.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Get it.
- 17:30Speaker 4: After thirty years of musical greatness, let's file this under
- 17:35Speaker 4: who knew they were even still a thing? Do you
- 17:38Speaker 4: remember Aqua? Yeah, the song Barbie.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Girl that's the only song.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Yeah, bad news. Everybody Aqua is calling it quits.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I thought it quits.
- 17:53Speaker 4: I knew that they were still performing really and they
- 17:56Speaker 4: knew what they come out. They knew Barbie Girl, and.
- 17:58Speaker 10: They have other songs that I just again, they'd.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Like right now. They didn't have any other hits. There
- 18:05Speaker 4: were no other hits this there are one hit. Wonder
- 18:08Speaker 4: are they German? They're retired, they sound so they called
- 18:15Speaker 4: it quits. We've talked about this guy before, the California Handyman,
- 18:19Speaker 4: Flash Shelton. Yeah, he's become known as the squatter Hunter.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, after turning a personal situation into a whole
- 18:26Speaker 4: business helping homeowners reclaim they're occupied properties that people were
- 18:30Speaker 4: squatting in.
- 18:31Speaker 1: He's a hero.
- 18:31Speaker 4: So the squatters had moved into his dad's house, his
- 18:34Speaker 4: late father's house, and hey, didn't you have a situation?
- 18:37Speaker 5: They sure did.
- 18:38Speaker 4: His journey started when they moved in slow legal options
- 18:42Speaker 4: and then turned into like all these little workarounds, and
- 18:45Speaker 4: so he legally positioned himself as a tenant so he
- 18:48Speaker 4: could enter the property and pressure the occupants to leave.
- 18:51Speaker 4: And then that experiences just led him to start handling
- 18:54Speaker 4: similar cases for other people. And now he runs a
- 18:56Speaker 4: team and he's featured in an A and E docuse
- 18:59Speaker 4: here he's called squatters.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I have watched it cool?
- 19:03Speaker 4: Is it cool? It's uh, he could satisfied.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Satisfying And you know what in all the cases that
- 19:10Speaker 6: the squatters are losers, you know exactly what they're doing, Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 6: where they help people dealing with unwanted occupants. The only
- 19:18Speaker 6: problem is he could be funnier about it and you
- 19:21Speaker 6: could tell his like his helpers or just people he
- 19:23Speaker 6: basically found hunt Craigslist.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Like he'll go in with like a bull.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Horn and an air horn.
- 19:29Speaker 6: And he'll change the locks and he's got what he does,
- 19:32Speaker 6: like what he's saying. He'll go back to the actual owner,
- 19:34Speaker 6: get a get a lease. So now he has the
- 19:36Speaker 6: same thing they have, right, and he takes doors off
- 19:39Speaker 6: the hinges.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Although he's got it if he's getting it from the
- 19:41Speaker 4: actual owner of the property, he's got a legit least
- 19:44Speaker 4: right as opposed to what the loophole all these people use.
- 19:47Speaker 5: But that's so great.
- 19:47Speaker 11: It's like the answer was right in front of us
- 19:49Speaker 11: the whole time, like join them, like you'd be a
- 19:51Speaker 11: squatter too, the right.
- 19:52Speaker 6: And then he has like paintball guns, and he.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Says the problem is widespread, worsened by confusing versus squatter laws,
- 20:01Speaker 4: while cities and all these different people like seem to
- 20:04Speaker 4: do everything to be able to support.
- 20:05Speaker 9: The people who are squatting, as opposed to people who
- 20:09Speaker 9: don't understand why no O.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Lot of her campaigns on that. You never hear about that.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Because there are critics, and those people debate whether his
- 20:16Speaker 4: tactics are being too aggressive. I think it's aggressive advantage.
- 20:19Speaker 4: They stole a home.
- 20:21Speaker 6: You have people who are called tenants' rights advocates, Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 6: go to their house, a scumbag dirt bags to enable
- 20:27Speaker 6: these losers.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:29Speaker 4: Hey' speaking of moving in together, Greg, what you got
- 20:31Speaker 4: something about a couple of people from Modern Family.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Who are roommates. I find this kind of odd, and
- 20:36Speaker 3: you know, I'm obsessed with looking up celebrity net worth.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so. Ariel Winter, she played Alex Dunfee on
- 20:42Speaker 3: Modern Family, and then Nolan Gould, who played Luke Dunfe,
- 20:45Speaker 3: their roommates and each have a net worth of twelve
- 20:49Speaker 3: million bucks. Allegedly, Ariel Winter splits her time between Nashville
- 20:54Speaker 3: and la and she broke up with their boyfriend, but
- 20:56Speaker 3: she still goes back and forth to Nashville because they
- 20:58Speaker 3: share four dogs together, and so instead of just getting
- 21:02Speaker 3: a place in La, she lives with Nolan Gould, which
- 21:06Speaker 3: I find funny. So she says, now when people say
- 21:08Speaker 3: will there ever be a modern family reboot, she says, Oh,
- 21:11Speaker 3: We're already doing it at home.
- 21:13Speaker 5: You know what, She's had.
- 21:14Speaker 11: A weird life, like she was one of the ones
- 21:17Speaker 11: that didn't she try to get emancipated.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Yeah, and she was like kind of acting out and.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Maybe trying to break up their parent friends exactly.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah, she got it buy a place or he would
- 21:29Speaker 3: just buy a place.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Yeah, but she just might need them.
- 21:32Speaker 4: They can they can save on expenses.
- 21:34Speaker 10: Greg, Yeah, come on, because you haven't it guys.
- 21:39Speaker 11: So, Kevin Hart's media company is fighting with two former
- 21:43Speaker 11: employees of his in this court case overclaims that they
- 21:46Speaker 11: used inside company information to secretly start their own like
- 21:49Speaker 11: rival podcast business. And he says the former workers had
- 21:52Speaker 11: access to all the private business plans and financial details
- 21:55Speaker 11: and strategy info and then they used it to build
- 21:58Speaker 11: a competing company while they were still working for Heart,
- 22:01Speaker 11: which I think is kind of a no no. So
- 22:04Speaker 11: the heaven Heart's company, Heartbeat. They claim they even.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Put together the name of the company.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Yeah, course it is. They put together this pitch deck.
- 22:11Speaker 11: They tried to raise two million dollars from investors, and
- 22:14Speaker 11: heartbeats as the situation hurts its podcast division financially and
- 22:18Speaker 11: it led to layoffs. So they of course, the two employees,
- 22:22Speaker 11: they're denying any wrongdoing, but they also argue that the
- 22:26Speaker 11: lawsuit is really just an attempt to stop them from
- 22:28Speaker 11: launching and spreading their own wings.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I wonder, I wonder how that works, Like, how do
- 22:32Speaker 4: you how do you prove that? Because I mean a
- 22:34Speaker 4: podcast business, there are so many similarities, like what makes
- 22:38Speaker 4: whatever they do like, well, you get.
- 22:39Speaker 11: A hold of that witch deck and you see if
- 22:41Speaker 11: it's the same thing you just learned.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm sure when you're working for them, Yeah, you can't
- 22:46Speaker 1: trade and make another podcast network.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Well, there's there's no such thing as a non compete
- 22:52Speaker 4: in certain states, right, California New York being two examples
- 22:56Speaker 4: of that, which I'm assuming is where Kevin Hardy's got
- 22:58Speaker 4: to have. It's got to be in one of them.
- 23:00Speaker 10: But they're probably dissuing them even though they know they'll
- 23:02Speaker 10: probably lose just to mess.
- 23:04Speaker 5: With them, like to see something.
- 23:06Speaker 6: It's at least giving them a roadblock. I guess, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 6: I mean it's it's a dick move and who cares.
- 23:11Speaker 6: No one's gonna by the way, smart move. We need
- 23:14Speaker 6: another podcast network, Oh.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we need another We need another podcast company, like
- 23:19Speaker 4: we need another Hot Chicken spot. The only person.
- 23:22Speaker 6: Paying attention to any of this is keV is the
- 23:24Speaker 6: people who care about Kevin Hart. Yeah, and he's the
- 23:26Speaker 6: only reason anyone would ever listen to anything. By the way,
- 23:28Speaker 6: I'm glad they made fun of him for his failed
- 23:29Speaker 6: vegan restaurant thing on his rose Oh yeah, underrated.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I stop for your birthdays and your birthday.

- 27:14Speaker 11: And you know, look it's adorable and it's very sweet
- 27:18Speaker 11: and I appreciate it. But I fueled the fire because I,
- 27:20Speaker 11: you know, I want to give it a little purpose.
- 27:22Speaker 11: And I said, oh, great, thanks, Hey, can you take

- 27:28Speaker 11: She's like absolutely, so yeah, there'll be a picture coming

- 27:44Speaker 4: of fun. Yeah, send me pictures.
- 27:46Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 11: And like there are times where she'll ask me like
- 27:50Speaker 11: she'll buy she will have already bought me like a
- 27:52Speaker 11: jacket or something I don't want, and she'll describe it.
- 27:55Speaker 11: I'll be like, oh, that's great, that's not really my style,
- 27:57Speaker 11: and I can hear her heartbreaking, and that's a second
- 28:00Speaker 11: and go, you know what, on second thought, I think
- 28:03Speaker 11: it's gonna look perfect.
- 28:04Speaker 5: You get it. Yes, my mom does that, So you
- 28:07Speaker 5: got it.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Why would you tell her that, oh, that's not my style.
- 28:09Speaker 4: You take it and you bring it right to the
- 28:11Speaker 4: donations you get it or something.
- 28:13Speaker 3: That you put in the closet, and when she visits,
- 28:15Speaker 3: you wear.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Every mind exactly when my when my kids were smaller,
- 28:18Speaker 4: we used to have this issue where let's say they
- 28:20Speaker 4: got something for Christmas or Birthday, but then they would
- 28:24Speaker 4: see you know, my parents or my wife's parents, and
- 28:27Speaker 4: they got them something they already had. Yeah, it took
- 28:31Speaker 4: a while for us to instill in them. You don't
- 28:33Speaker 4: say I already have.
- 28:34Speaker 1: This immediately grand gift.
- 28:37Speaker 4: The grandparents are psyched to buy them something and get
- 28:40Speaker 4: them something. They're going to be excited about it. Reaction Yeah,
- 28:43Speaker 4: and then was like, I already have this. I got
- 28:47Speaker 4: another one of these, dude, shut up.
- 28:49Speaker 11: Yeah, And that's why when I forced him to write
- 28:52Speaker 11: thank you notes, I tell him. He has to describe
- 28:55Speaker 11: what it is and describe what he's going to do
- 28:57Speaker 11: with it, not just like thanks, like, oh, I love
- 29:00Speaker 11: this new basketball, I can't wait to bring it to
- 29:02Speaker 11: the playground.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Like you gotta be specific because that's what people appreciate.
- 29:05Speaker 5: So that's what I'm gonna do. When my mom sends
- 29:07Speaker 5: me my.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Bags, big story guys going down and she's.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Sending you, how many do you want?
- 29:14Speaker 4: Oh, I don't need any Sammy you're getting.
- 29:16Speaker 5: There's usually a limit.
- 29:18Speaker 4: You can't just go in there buying up.
- 29:20Speaker 11: She literally went in and like bankrupted them one time.
- 29:23Speaker 11: So really, I think it just depends which one you get.
- 29:25Speaker 1: The number one story on world'sar Hip Hop.
- 29:26Speaker 11: Yeah, exactly, all right, well yeah headlines.
- 29:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:32Speaker 11: Well, cops are looking at video that was posted online
- 29:35Speaker 11: involving Monday shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego.
- 29:38Speaker 11: Apparently in this video you can see the shooters going
- 29:40Speaker 11: up to the center and opening fire.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Then later in the video.
- 29:43Speaker 11: It looks like one of the shooters can be seen
- 29:45Speaker 11: reaching into the backseat of his car and shooting his
- 29:48Speaker 11: buddy and then shooting himself. And before both of these
- 29:51Speaker 11: guys had Nazi patches on their clothes. There was Nazi
- 29:54Speaker 11: stuff written on the gun they used.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Maybe his buddy was going back on their plan.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Maybe maybe he felt bad.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I'm glad they're both dead.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Same.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Yeah, no waste of a trial and time and all
- 30:04Speaker 4: the disources money's going to take just to keep them alive.
- 30:07Speaker 11: Yeah, and they're also looking at this seventy five page
- 30:11Speaker 11: essay circulating online allegedly written by these two douchebags. So yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 11: you won't be missed. Okay, I have to include this
- 30:19Speaker 11: story because of how much I love true crime. Just
- 30:21Speaker 11: get on board. So remember Alex Murda Alex Okay, so
- 30:26Speaker 11: you know he's getting that new trial after he I
- 30:29Speaker 11: guess maybe didn't kill his wife and son. Okay, Well,
- 30:32Speaker 11: now he's suing the former South Carolina court clerk, Becky
- 30:37Speaker 11: Hill and accusing her of improperly influencing the jury. That's
- 30:40Speaker 11: why he's getting a new trial. So this all started
- 30:43Speaker 11: because a judge ruled that the clerk interfered with jurors.
- 30:45Speaker 11: So Mura didn't get a fair shake. And it looks
- 30:48Speaker 11: like this idiot she made comments about him during the
- 30:51Speaker 11: trial to jurors, like pay attention to his body, language
- 30:54Speaker 11: and credibility while testifying, and they say she was motivated
- 30:58Speaker 11: by fame and money because she wrote a book about
- 31:00Speaker 11: it after the trial. She's dumb, dumb.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I was wondering why she was herself, Like, they go.
- 31:08Speaker 11: To work, you're not supposed to that much contact with
- 31:11Speaker 11: the jurors. And so I guess when she got her moment,
- 31:13Speaker 11: she was saying dumb stuff.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You know your job and you know the rules.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Yeah, but she just wanted to be a true crime author.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I guess I get it, Like I get that that
- 31:21Speaker 3: you can't do that legally, But what does that have
- 31:24Speaker 3: to do with what he did? Nothing?
- 31:26Speaker 5: Well, they're saying that she swayed the jury.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he didn't get the jury. Well, Greg, we were
- 31:31Speaker 4: mentioning how neither one of us believe when something gets
- 31:34Speaker 4: brought up in court and then the judge says that
- 31:36Speaker 4: will be stricken from the record. The jury is to ignore.
- 31:39Speaker 4: I'll forget that, yeah, and somebody texted and goes, no,
- 31:42Speaker 4: that's really how it works, because the jurors will then
- 31:44Speaker 4: cross their notes off. Oh yeah, I didn't you just
- 31:49Speaker 4: mentally block it. The point is you already heard it,
- 31:51Speaker 4: So that has to have some kind of yeah, or
- 31:55Speaker 4: it's rolling around in the area, and.
- 31:57Speaker 5: You know that lawyers do that on purpose, Like Okay, that'll.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Be strigger for the record. Okay, sorry, guys, just.
- 32:02Speaker 4: To get it out there exactly.
- 32:04Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Even if you're barred from saying it,
- 32:06Speaker 3: just say it. Yeah, they'll object.
- 32:08Speaker 11: So this murder guy, Yeah, so he's, like we said
- 32:12Speaker 11: the other day, even though he's his murder conviction was overturned,
- 32:15Speaker 11: he's still in prison for six plus years.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Yeah, because they're millions from his clients or am I thinking.
- 32:21Speaker 4: About the the Luigi guy. There's two different things going on.
- 32:25Speaker 4: There's the state trial, right, and then there's the federal trial.
- 32:28Speaker 4: So the guy there's both these guys are screwed either way, and.
- 32:33Speaker 11: They're putting the death penalty back on the table probably
- 32:36Speaker 11: for the retrial.
- 32:36Speaker 5: So for murder that fun.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Yeah, because then that Luigi thing, people are like, oh, well,
- 32:41Speaker 4: this part of evidence is not going to be able
- 32:43Speaker 4: to be submitted, but that's not necessarily true for the
- 32:45Speaker 4: federal trial. Federal is different. Oh dude, yeah, and we
- 32:51Speaker 4: know we know these people did it.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Hundreds of people.
- 32:54Speaker 10: Are yeah, like I know, we knock out other countries,
- 32:57Speaker 10: but these guys would be like they'd.
- 32:59Speaker 5: Be go, this would be dealt with swiftly.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 33:05Speaker 11: Well, yeah, Google's changing its search bars so it's going
- 33:08Speaker 11: to work more like an AI chat butt instead of
- 33:11Speaker 11: just showing a list of websites. So now you'll be
- 33:13Speaker 11: able to ask longer, more natural questions and get detailed
- 33:16Speaker 11: AI answers that you can keep chatting with and having
- 33:19Speaker 11: a little conversation. And the new search bar you can
- 33:21Speaker 11: also understand you can also do things like upload photos
- 33:25Speaker 11: and PDFs and videos or browser tabs and just ask
- 33:28Speaker 11: the questions about those directly, so that's helpful. So Google's
- 33:31Speaker 11: also adding AI tools for tracking prices, helping plan trips,
- 33:36Speaker 11: and organizing stuff through apps like Gmail and Calendar. We're
- 33:40Speaker 11: doing this with everything now, just get on board, right
- 33:43Speaker 11: like they're trying to help us, Let them help us.
- 33:46Speaker 10: It's everything that we already do, but they're just going
- 33:48Speaker 10: to simplify it and make it look cleaner.
- 33:50Speaker 4: I think it's also as people started messing with AI,
- 33:53Speaker 4: they started using it instead of Google.
- 33:55Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 33:56Speaker 4: They were using chat GPT as a Google search instead
- 34:00Speaker 4: of wait wait wait wait, we'll do it right, which
- 34:02Speaker 4: in a way was better because you know, on Google
- 34:06Speaker 4: search just brings up a bunch of stuff and you
- 34:07Speaker 4: got to wade through it, Yeah, filter through it. Whereas
- 34:10Speaker 4: on you know, chat reip, it explains it kind of
- 34:13Speaker 4: takes everything in and explains all the different.
- 34:15Speaker 5: Things and send you the direct link.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Yeah, then also give you the reference link if you
- 34:19Speaker 4: want to click on that. Wats them you're just looking
- 34:21Speaker 4: for an answer, right, but I want to go through
- 34:23Speaker 4: like three or four different websites to find the answer.
- 34:25Speaker 11: So they do need to get on board. Also, I
- 34:28Speaker 11: was showing Greg this morning. I was flipping through my
- 34:30Speaker 11: chat GBT and I found what I think you found
- 34:33Speaker 11: it before. I found the button that I can make
- 34:37Speaker 11: the conversation quote less warm and less enthusiastic.
- 34:41Speaker 5: Yeah, and I feel so freaking.
- 34:42Speaker 11: Out that I'm not being like patted on the head.
- 34:44Speaker 11: I just get the answer.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:46Speaker 3: With chat GBT, when it first came out, I you know,
- 34:49Speaker 3: I'm always nice to things that are not sentienced, like
- 34:53Speaker 3: the A word that you use, you know, And then
- 34:55Speaker 3: I wrote on there after it gave me an answer,
- 34:57Speaker 3: I said, oh babe, thanks that moment forward it was
- 35:01Speaker 3: calling me babe, like you got a babe. I'm like, okay,
- 35:04Speaker 3: and so that I had to prompt.
- 35:06Speaker 4: You've really calling me babe? Yeah, Alexa, play a fart sound.
- 35:12Speaker 4: I wonder how many fart sounds are playing right now?
- 35:14Speaker 3: So good one, and then say thank you?
- 35:16Speaker 4: What Alexa? What is a quief? I wonder how many
- 35:22Speaker 4: are explaining a quief right now?
- 35:24Speaker 5: I'm glad you asked right in a.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Natural, warm tone.
- 35:27Speaker 10: Yeah, I always say to my like, AI, don't try
- 35:32Speaker 10: to be funny on.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't need jokes, yea answers.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Well.
- 35:37Speaker 11: Even with gas and airfare prices way up, Triple A
- 35:40Speaker 11: still says that forty five million of US will be
- 35:42Speaker 11: traveling over Memorial Day weekend. Thirty nine million of those
- 35:46Speaker 11: are going to be driving, and three point six million
- 35:48Speaker 11: are expected to fly. Big destinations places like Orlando, Seattle,
- 35:53Speaker 11: New York, Vegas, Miami and San Francisco and Rome, Paris, London,
- 35:57Speaker 11: and Vancouver top the internet list. You know for a
- 36:00Speaker 11: quick weekend get away If you're driving, Experts say the
- 36:05Speaker 11: best time to leave Friday is before eleven am, since
- 36:08Speaker 11: traffic will be totally aft between eleven and into the
- 36:11Speaker 11: evening and when you're ready to come back, Monday. They
- 36:14Speaker 11: say you really should leave before ten am, so it's
- 36:16Speaker 11: not really an extra day off.
- 36:19Speaker 5: At ten am.
- 36:20Speaker 4: The hell's going to Seattle.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Even do there?
- 36:24Speaker 1: I mean space fish Market.
- 36:26Speaker 4: It's a city to go see, it's cool.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Seattle has some issues right now.
- 36:32Speaker 11: Yeah, a lot of a lot of dudes just like
- 36:34Speaker 11: frozen in place, like dope dropped and yeah, exactly the lane, Yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 11: cracking exactly. And finally, the TSA has quietly updated its
- 36:44Speaker 11: guidelines to say that medical marijuana can now be carried
- 36:47Speaker 11: on planes in both your carry on and your check bags,
- 36:49Speaker 11: as long as it follows certain rules.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 36:53Speaker 5: This is an important little catch though.
- 36:56Speaker 11: This doesn't fully legalize flying with reed, but say just
- 37:00Speaker 11: says they're not going to be looking for it.
- 37:01Speaker 5: They're not going to find It's one of those things.
- 37:03Speaker 4: It's on the books, but we're not enforcing.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I don't think they have been looking for it for
- 37:07Speaker 1: a while, But they.
- 37:08Speaker 11: Say, what happens at the airport you're in, depending on
- 37:11Speaker 11: what state you're in, that's up to them. So in practice,
- 37:13Speaker 11: medical marijuana can be allowed through security with this updated guide,
- 37:18Speaker 11: this updated guidance, and TSA won't.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Actively search for it.
- 37:22Speaker 11: But if it's found, depending on what airport you're at,
- 37:24Speaker 11: you can still get it taken away, get stuck with fines,
- 37:27Speaker 11: or even get arrested.
- 37:28Speaker 5: So I mean, is that helpful?
- 37:30Speaker 3: It's too vague?
- 37:31Speaker 10: Whoa, It's definitely vague, but definitely like read up on
- 37:34Speaker 10: where you're landing.
- 37:36Speaker 1: That's what the rules are. You look, idiots.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Even before there were dispensaries on every corner in most cities, medicine,
- 37:44Speaker 4: I've been saying the same damn thing. Just there's no
- 37:46Speaker 4: r to travel with it. Yeah, you can smoke your
- 37:49Speaker 4: brains out before you leave. Yeah, get on your plane,
- 37:52Speaker 4: get to wherever you're going, and then get whatever you
- 37:55Speaker 4: need there. Yeah, you know, like you don't need to
- 37:57Speaker 4: bring it with you.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 4: And now because there are dispensaries and stuff on every corner,
- 38:02Speaker 4: even easier get there.
- 38:04Speaker 11: We have breaking news from your A word a whole
- 38:08Speaker 11: prank you just pulled.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Yeah, somebody wrote ants.
- 38:12Speaker 11: Thanks woody, Alexa, let me know it's air coming out
- 38:15Speaker 11: of a vagina.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we asked a question, you know, tell us what
- 38:18Speaker 4: a queen was she did? Alexa? What is a blumpkin?
- 38:24Speaker 4: See if it explained?
- 38:25Speaker 5: Yeah? Is we are learning so much all right, well
- 38:28Speaker 5: that's what's going on.
- 38:29Speaker 4: I have the show playing on my phone, and then
- 38:31Speaker 4: my Alexa stopped playing reggae for my dog and started
- 38:34Speaker 4: farting wood show. This woman, this is in Brooklyn. She
- 38:46Speaker 4: was in court and her arraignment was happening for a
- 38:50Speaker 4: drug possession charge, and she suddenly had a medical emergency. Oh,
- 38:56Speaker 4: because she was nine months pregnant and she was going
- 38:59Speaker 4: in the labor lucky baby hell a classic, right, Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 4: So the courtroom staff they stepped in, I mean kind
- 39:07Speaker 4: of helped her deliver the baby the best way that
- 39:09Speaker 4: they could. Here I have, I don't know the audio
- 39:14Speaker 4: of this is kind of funny to me. He was,
- 39:16Speaker 4: unfortunately not delivered by the officer.
- 39:19Speaker 15: The officer took her hands off and removed the baby,
- 39:23Speaker 15: who was hanging in the light.
- 39:26Speaker 4: She completed delivery with her hands behind her back. Come
- 39:33Speaker 4: into the world.
- 39:33Speaker 10: Oh my god, I mean, what didn't they delay the trial?
- 39:36Speaker 10: They knew this chick was like super pregnant.
- 39:39Speaker 4: She's super pregnant. But that doesn't mean you can't sit
- 39:41Speaker 4: there and listen to your arraignement on charge physical labor. Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 4: you're just sitting there to have the baby's dangling there
- 39:50Speaker 4: she's in handcuffs. A story.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Read your baby books.
- 39:54Speaker 4: So you had a natural birth.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Good for you, Yeah, a good story for the rest of.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Your life is going well.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I told you I recently became a godfather. She
- 40:04Speaker 3: had a sea section, and I must have repressed this
- 40:07Speaker 3: knowledge because I think I knew this in the past.
- 40:09Speaker 3: But then I was reminded that when you have a
- 40:11Speaker 3: sea section, they cut you open and they take your inside,
- 40:17Speaker 3: take them out and set them aside in a bucket.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Oh god, or sometimes just like on top of you.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Oh good morning. Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 3: And then the husband witnessed it.
- 40:29Speaker 5: But the miracle of child.
- 40:31Speaker 4: The husband's better with that because down south is yeah, right,
- 40:37Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Oh, but I would be ga, just scoop out your insides,
- 40:43Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 40:44Speaker 5: I pick up what you're putting down. Yeah, that's right.
- 40:46Speaker 5: No extra stitches for the husband.
- 40:48Speaker 1: And get it odd that you never think about ever.
- 40:53Speaker 4: So this woman was actually in the hospital shortly before
- 40:57Speaker 4: her arraignment because she was experiencing drug withdrawal, but they
- 41:01Speaker 4: discharge her. She went right to the court room.
- 41:03Speaker 1: And so yeah, wow, wow, sad.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Man given birth in handcuffs court on your drug charges.
- 41:11Speaker 5: It's like a movie of the week.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Yeah, both the mom and the baby are fine, though,
- 41:15Speaker 4: I know I know what you're wanting.
- 41:17Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's the thing that was just like,
- 41:20Speaker 10: there's so many kids that could be adopted. I know
- 41:23Speaker 10: a lot of people are like they go through all
- 41:25Speaker 10: this stuff to try to have their own kids. But
- 41:27Speaker 10: there's a lot of kids out there, man, that need
- 41:29Speaker 10: a home.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Yeah, look how many people, And God knows why you
- 41:32Speaker 4: try so hard to have children. I don't get it.
- 41:35Speaker 11: Like the gym, I think it's Sarah Overman, who's like
- 41:40Speaker 11: everyone's so proud of getting their their dog at a shelter.
- 41:43Speaker 5: It's like, get your people at a shelter.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Well, you know, I'm just saying, like, you know, it's
- 41:47Speaker 4: so difficult for some people who really want it, and
- 41:50Speaker 4: then other people it's just no, it's the wrong people.
- 41:53Speaker 4: The wrong people have the easiest time, and the right
- 41:55Speaker 4: people have the hardest time.
- 41:57Speaker 12: And I've been seeing kids in like this strangest places
- 42:01Speaker 12: that parents just take them to that I was a
- 42:02Speaker 12: stage coach and there was a lot of toddlers there
- 42:06Speaker 12: walking around like I don't understand.
- 42:08Speaker 4: I thought stage coach was pretty wholesome.
- 42:09Speaker 12: Now in the dip blow tents with giant headphones on
- 42:18Speaker 12: and stuff and.
- 42:18Speaker 4: A baby in a bar.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Everybody else.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I mean, they were all the way in the back
- 42:25Speaker 1: of the tent, but still why.
- 42:27Speaker 12: There was a lot And I even people that I
- 42:29Speaker 12: knew I ended up seeing posted it on Instagram later
- 42:32Speaker 12: with their toddler at stage coach, and I'm just thinking.
- 42:34Speaker 4: Like, why leave them at home?
- 42:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't get it.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Okay, so you have that opinion, but bring your dog
- 42:39Speaker 4: anywhere you want, I think my dog. No, no, you didn't,
- 42:42Speaker 4: But you think that people should just be able to
- 42:44Speaker 4: bring their dog wherever.
- 42:45Speaker 5: They want to most places.
- 42:47Speaker 12: Yes, But I guess this is coming from when I
- 42:48Speaker 12: was a kid. My parents didn't let us go to weddings.
- 42:51Speaker 12: They were like, no, weddings aren't for children. They didn't
- 42:53Speaker 12: take us to stuff like that.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I get that.
- 42:57Speaker 11: We weren't allowed to do like adult stuff either, like
- 42:59Speaker 11: people stuff.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Right, because a lot of times, and as a parent,
- 43:03Speaker 4: it is because you want a break from the kids.
- 43:06Speaker 4: You know, we're gonna have a lot more fun of
- 43:08Speaker 4: this wedding if we don't have to bring the kids weddings.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Should I agree with comparison? I did kid.
- 43:15Speaker 11: The only kid at my wedding was my kid because
- 43:19Speaker 11: I was like, I'm not going to be on the
- 43:20Speaker 11: hook for a liability if this kid breaks something or
- 43:22Speaker 11: we lose them.
- 43:23Speaker 4: A lot of people in the text saying adoption is
- 43:25Speaker 4: insanely expensive. Is that probably the legal fees?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 43:29Speaker 4: Yeah, well yeah, it's not like you go down to
- 43:33Speaker 4: the bay. Yeah, yeah, you don't. You don't go down
- 43:36Speaker 4: there to the orphanage and you pick them up and
- 43:39Speaker 4: then you know, they make sure they give you a
- 43:41Speaker 4: certificate that they got all their shots.
- 43:42Speaker 9: Yeah, they're chipped, and I do realize I don't have
- 43:46Speaker 9: a little card outside of the door of the room
- 43:47Speaker 9: with the kids in where they flip.
- 43:48Speaker 4: It over like you've got a home.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Their temperament.
- 43:54Speaker 4: I love those videos where they're going into the shelter
- 43:56Speaker 4: and they're telling the dog like you got a family,
- 43:59Speaker 4: and the dogs like freaking out.
- 44:01Speaker 3: And then the dog smiles yeah open.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Yeah, they get all excited and they're pomped baby. Is
- 44:06Speaker 4: it illegal to just take someone's baby?
- 44:08Speaker 5: Like, if you have.
- 44:12Speaker 4: For that record, it's called But if they want to
- 44:15Speaker 4: give it to you, like me, and Gina shook hands
- 44:17Speaker 4: and she's like, you know what, take my kid. And
- 44:19Speaker 4: I'm like, that's cool. I think there's a private adoption. Yeah,
- 44:22Speaker 4: but if they never come find you, like I think
- 44:25Speaker 4: it's a private another kid, you know, but you still
- 44:28Speaker 4: have to you have to make it legal.
- 44:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it can't just be a handshake deal.
- 44:33Speaker 4: I'm a family member. This is exactly how it went.
- 44:35Speaker 4: There was a uh, the mom, the adoptive mom's father
- 44:41Speaker 4: knew of this woman that was having this baby, that
- 44:43Speaker 4: couldn't keep the baby, and knew that his daughter, my relative,
- 44:48Speaker 4: wasn't able to have her own kids, and so had
- 44:51Speaker 4: this conversation and then they ended up adopting that baby.
- 44:54Speaker 4: But it was it was a private set up and
- 44:57Speaker 4: they went through.
- 44:58Speaker 5: All the leg You become the legal guardian.
- 45:00Speaker 1: That's not saying that handshake deals don't happen.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, I agree because if I had a kid
- 45:07Speaker 3: and I didn't want it and you wanted a kid,
- 45:09Speaker 3: here what hard.
- 45:12Speaker 11: But for couples that do adoption, a friend of mine
- 45:14Speaker 11: there they did it. You know that there's a cottage
- 45:17Speaker 11: industry where you make a pamphlet of yourself and you
- 45:20Speaker 11: sell yourself like like Sears pictures like this is why
- 45:23Speaker 11: I'd be the great one.
- 45:24Speaker 4: People to buy houses. Yeah, yeah, yeah, if there's competition
- 45:29Speaker 4: for a house, when you put an offer on a
- 45:31Speaker 4: house that you really want, if there's multiple offers, you
- 45:33Speaker 4: submitted letter talking about your family and who you are
- 45:36Speaker 4: and we have two kids blah blah.
- 45:38Speaker 10: Well yeah, I know somebody in this building, and it's
- 45:41Speaker 10: just like it sucks because like them trying to adopt
- 45:45Speaker 10: a child that has like horrific parents, and you would
- 45:49Speaker 10: think just automatically, okay, cool, this this person already.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Has a family with kids and.
- 45:55Speaker 10: They're obviously cool, but still has to go through so
- 45:58Speaker 10: many hoops hoops just to try to get this child.
- 46:01Speaker 12: And yeah, you need to have like a certain amount
- 46:03Speaker 12: of money in the bank, and you need to go through
- 46:05Speaker 12: the backgrounds.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Yes you can take care of the kids.
- 46:08Speaker 10: Yeah, but meanwhile, like the trash parents, they don't have
- 46:11Speaker 10: to do anything.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Meanwhile, what about those kids that were kept like prisoners
- 46:15Speaker 4: in their own home and then they escaped and then
- 46:17Speaker 4: they ended up in another place that was not just
- 46:20Speaker 4: bad but like terrible. What were they.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Turpin Turpin the Turpin kids?
- 46:26Speaker 4: Yeah, like how did that happen?
- 46:29Speaker 5: They went to a foster home to be rescued and
- 46:31Speaker 5: their abused again.
- 46:31Speaker 4: These kids escaped hell, yes right, only to end up
- 46:35Speaker 4: at a foster place. That was awful, horrific. You would
- 46:39Speaker 4: have thought they would have done a lot of research
- 46:41Speaker 4: on that one because it was just a high profile.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Going going back to the sea section thing, great good.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Somebody said my wife had a sea section eleven years ago.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Doctors told me don't look over the sheet. I did anyway,
- 46:53Speaker 4: and I still can't forget what I saw.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I bet they tell you that.
- 46:57Speaker 4: You know, my my wife did not have a sea section,
- 46:59Speaker 4: but the labor she told me don't look down because
- 47:02Speaker 4: she said, you're never gonna look at me the same moment. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 4: and she was. She was worried about that. But man,
- 47:08Speaker 4: and I look, and I was convinced that I wasn't
- 47:10Speaker 4: going to look. You tell yourself, I'm not looking. I'm
- 47:12Speaker 4: not looking. And but when you're there and you're holding
- 47:14Speaker 4: the leg and you know I'm looking.
- 47:16Speaker 5: At her, like you're like your head glance.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Like it's like your muscles don't work to keep it
- 47:21Speaker 4: from turning that direction. You're like no, no, no, inside
- 47:25Speaker 4: your screaming, don't look don't, but you can't help. But
- 47:27Speaker 4: look and you look.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Wasn't she worried she was going to poop too?
- 47:31Speaker 5: That's I think you do.
- 47:32Speaker 4: That's yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 5: There's a nurse on Instagram that it's so funny.
- 47:35Speaker 11: She goes, if you're going into labor and you're afraid,
- 47:38Speaker 11: you tell me you're afraid you're going to poop.
- 47:39Speaker 5: The answer is always, You're not pooping. I'm pooping.
- 47:42Speaker 11: Whatever you smell, it's not coming from you, your princess.
- 47:44Speaker 11: It's not you, because of course you're gonna.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Put You're not pooping.
- 47:47Speaker 11: I'm because she's trying to make the mom feel The
- 47:49Speaker 11: doctors are quick, man, they're they're like slight of hand magicians.
- 47:52Speaker 4: Right, it's gone gone. Wow, that was cool.
- 47:55Speaker 11: So what part did you see, like the head coming
- 47:57Speaker 11: out or the whole thing coming the whole thing?
- 48:00Speaker 4: I saw the whole thing, yeah, man, yeah, yeah, it didn't.
- 48:07Speaker 4: It didn't ruin anything. But like this guy, I'll never
- 48:10Speaker 4: forget what I saw that day.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Ye, something of an alien movie first.
- 48:15Speaker 4: And now, to be fair, by the time my daughter
- 48:18Speaker 4: rolled around, it's a lot easier, you know, marched right out.
- 48:21Speaker 4: It's just shot right out of there, no problem, son
- 48:25Speaker 4: was you know, first time through Yeah, yeah, he really
- 48:28Speaker 4: he really blazed the trail, you know, welcome back. Yes,
- 48:40Speaker 4: so interesting. We were mentioning AI in the news headlines
- 48:45Speaker 4: and then we were talking about, you know, things like
- 48:48Speaker 4: how it's so easy for that woman who just dropped
- 48:51Speaker 4: a baby had a baby right there in the courtroom
- 48:55Speaker 4: as she's handcuffed and it's dangling from like, and somebody
- 48:59Speaker 4: meant and c sections and healthy build I mean, I
- 49:02Speaker 4: mean the point that it's always the people who shouldn't
- 49:05Speaker 4: be having kids that have the easiest time of having kids.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Then people who would really be great parents or got
- 49:11Speaker 4: people like, it's they're the ones who are going to have,
- 49:14Speaker 4: you know, the hard time and have to go through
- 49:17Speaker 4: all these other things. So AI, I guess is now
- 49:23Speaker 4: increasingly being built into IVF and so it's it's pretty cool,
- 49:28Speaker 4: like this new thing that they just developed. It can
- 49:31Speaker 4: scan sperm samples and identify the viable sperm cells that
- 49:35Speaker 4: humans might miss, so it could it could help out
- 49:38Speaker 4: and make this whole process a lot easier. AI is
- 49:41Speaker 4: also being used, according to the article here, to analyze
- 49:44Speaker 4: embryos inside incubators, reviewing their development over time and helping
- 49:48Speaker 4: doctors pick the ones most likely to result in the
- 49:50Speaker 4: healthy pregnancy. Some systems even go further by estimating risks
- 49:55Speaker 4: like genetic issues, though that raises ethical debates about how
- 49:59Speaker 4: much prediction should be allowed.
- 50:01Speaker 3: That all of it, what's unethical about that?
- 50:05Speaker 1: Nothing, But they.
- 50:05Speaker 4: Are ready to do that with IVF.
- 50:07Speaker 12: The embryos are graded, so there'd be an A or
- 50:10Speaker 12: B and that kind of stuff.
- 50:11Speaker 4: So it's not like it's anything we don't do. But
- 50:14Speaker 4: if they can get dialed into the point where they go,
- 50:16Speaker 4: all right, well this you know, blindness, deafness, uh, mental retardation,
- 50:20Speaker 4: whatever it is.
- 50:21Speaker 5: I don't like blonde.
- 50:22Speaker 4: What I'm saying, whatever, whatever it is, yea, rather than
- 50:25Speaker 4: have a child be born into the world who is
- 50:28Speaker 4: gonna have a lot of problems and it's gonna create uh,
- 50:31Speaker 4: you know, a lot of issues, you know for parents
- 50:33Speaker 4: and who's gonna look after this kid after? I'm gonna
- 50:35Speaker 4: like one of those kinds of situations. I understand the
- 50:39Speaker 4: people the pro life, the pro choice that I think
- 50:42Speaker 4: that's that's where this ethical thing comes in, because then
- 50:44Speaker 4: if you determine, okay, well now we're looking at this,
- 50:47Speaker 4: and you decide, all right, well, you know we're gonna
- 50:50Speaker 4: not continue with this pregnancy. That becomes the pro life,
- 50:52Speaker 4: pro choice thing, which I'm not getting into. I'm saying
- 50:55Speaker 4: I would want to know. Yeah, like if you if
- 50:59Speaker 4: you have the information, why wouldn't you want the information?
- 51:01Speaker 4: But I mean it goes even to a more basic level.
- 51:03Speaker 4: For my wife and I, we didn't want to be
- 51:04Speaker 4: surprised about if it's gonna be a boy or a girl.
- 51:06Speaker 4: We wanted to know.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we might ever want to be surprised.
- 51:10Speaker 4: My sister and her husband for all eight thousand kids
- 51:14Speaker 4: that she popped out, it was a surprise to them
- 51:16Speaker 4: every time. Why I.
- 51:20Speaker 5: I'm a plan planning the show.
- 51:23Speaker 3: We prep right, you gotta know what color to paint
- 51:25Speaker 3: the nursery.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I want to know what kind of shoes.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Get Also, clinics are using AI to streamline the whole
- 51:32Speaker 4: IVF process from lab work to administrative task like scheduling
- 51:36Speaker 4: and insurance processing. So see AI does have some good
- 51:39Speaker 4: benefits and everybody's very well.
- 51:42Speaker 5: It's like everyone says like about guns, like.
- 51:43Speaker 11: AI is neutral, it's good, there's bad yeah, who's behind it?
- 51:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 51:48Speaker 3: But when it comes to other stuff that I get
- 51:51Speaker 3: medical innovations awesome, But then there's some you know, AI
- 51:56Speaker 3: chat about making doing your laundry easier or you know,
- 52:00Speaker 3: can your grocery list. At what point is society Society
- 52:03Speaker 3: going to say our lives are easy enough, like they've
- 52:06Speaker 3: never gotten so easy that.
- 52:08Speaker 4: It could always you can always improve, mindless moral exist.
- 52:13Speaker 5: If everything's been being done for us.
- 52:15Speaker 4: It's right, it's a double edge, right, because I think
- 52:18Speaker 4: it can end up making it so you're not wasting
- 52:20Speaker 4: your time. It could buy you time. You're not wasting
- 52:22Speaker 4: time doing things that are taking up your time unnecessarily.
- 52:25Speaker 4: It could just easily be done by this, right.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Right, But then you're not wasting time. So what are
- 52:31Speaker 3: you using that saved time doing to be a.
- 52:34Speaker 5: Greg become we become totally useless.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 52:38Speaker 4: This then goes to the other, the other side of
- 52:40Speaker 4: the thing with companies and they're getting AI to do
- 52:43Speaker 4: these things, and so that eliminates these different jobs. And
- 52:46Speaker 4: so if nobody has any jobs, nobody has any money
- 52:49Speaker 4: to be able to do anything they want to do
- 52:50Speaker 4: with their free time because AI made their shopping list,
- 52:53Speaker 4: you can't afford the groceries that the AI.
- 52:58Speaker 16: Now.
- 52:59Speaker 4: Of course, with all technologies as technolo computers, for example.
- 53:03Speaker 4: Everybody's like, oh, computers can be the end of secretaries,
- 53:07Speaker 4: which okay, for the most part, yes, it's always the end.
- 53:10Speaker 4: But it created a whole different department, the I T department, right,
- 53:13Speaker 4: So like there's new jobs that come around with all
- 53:15Speaker 4: the technology advancements. So who knows how it plays out,
- 53:18Speaker 4: but we adapt, guys, good good stuff and bad stuff.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I guess why.
- 53:23Speaker 3: You've got to be a barber or a funeral director,
- 53:26Speaker 3: or a prostitute or the.
- 53:27Speaker 4: Amor electrician or the wind makes everything worse.
- 53:32Speaker 16: Hot, uncomfortable but worse. Okay, rain, but wind worse.
- 53:45Speaker 5: Show.
- 53:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I love I love a good quote. I keep
- 53:52Speaker 4: a little note on my on my phone in the
- 53:57Speaker 4: notes section, no time ie your hero a little folder.
- 54:01Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I bring it on the air from time
- 54:04Speaker 4: to time. This one, this one professor is is getting
- 54:12Speaker 4: some attention. Man, where the hell is it? Manhattanville University? Okay, anyway,
- 54:17Speaker 4: this guy Joseph Fanso, and they turned all of the
- 54:23Speaker 4: stuff that he's told them over the course of the
- 54:25Speaker 4: year into like a book of his best advice. Oh
- 54:30Speaker 4: I like that all right, you know, so they kept
- 54:33Speaker 4: notes too. It's one hundred and fifty two page handwritten book. Yeah,
- 54:38Speaker 4: and I'm going to add some of these quotes and
- 54:41Speaker 4: see what you guys think of these. Okay, you know
- 54:44Speaker 4: what makes writing slower? Talking? Because that sounds a very
- 54:48Speaker 4: much like a teacher thing to say, Oh that you're
- 54:50Speaker 4: supposed to be doing this writing. You know what makes
- 54:52Speaker 4: writing slower?
- 54:53Speaker 1: Talking?
- 54:53Speaker 4: So shut up?
- 54:54Speaker 3: No, all right?
- 54:55Speaker 4: Who taught you wonder? Love and learning? We're supposed to
- 54:58Speaker 4: be easy, which I I have.
- 55:02Speaker 3: And understanding.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 4: I have this conversation with with my kids because they'll
- 55:07Speaker 4: complain about how hard something is, and I go, I
- 55:09Speaker 4: can't remember anything that I've done so far in my
- 55:12Speaker 4: life that was easy, that had like any kind of
- 55:16Speaker 4: like overwhelming benefit payoff. Yeah, like all the big stuff,
- 55:21Speaker 4: all all the best stuff has all come at the
- 55:23Speaker 4: end of doing something difficult, really difficult, or have something
- 55:27Speaker 4: that took time, time and effort.
- 55:31Speaker 15: Uh.
- 55:31Speaker 4: The only thing more painful than becoming yourself is not
- 55:33Speaker 4: becoming yourself. I thought that was interesting one.
- 55:36Speaker 3: I like that one.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Uh, let's try intelligence before we try artificial intelligence. That's good.
- 55:42Speaker 5: I love that.
- 55:43Speaker 4: That's a good one. You should like that one.
- 55:46Speaker 6: Sea Bass I can go and readers digest any day,
- 55:49Speaker 6: every day of your life is a rough draft.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Yeah, very true.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Too much of expecting perfection?
- 55:57Speaker 3: What do they say that life is not a dress
- 55:59Speaker 3: for her.
- 56:00Speaker 4: Whole a box of chocolates. Yeah, another day, another chance
- 56:04Speaker 4: to make the mistake that will save you.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Oh I like that too.
- 56:08Speaker 4: The defense mechanism causes more pain than what it defends
- 56:12Speaker 4: you from. See. I read that as you work you
- 56:16Speaker 4: spend too much time worrying about things that will never happen.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure on that one.
- 56:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but psychological cheat codes is another term that I
- 56:26Speaker 4: keep seeing.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I see.
- 56:28Speaker 4: I find as I've gotten, you know, older, I've found
- 56:32Speaker 4: more benefit and kind of seeing something like that and
- 56:36Speaker 4: going oh wait, okay, that does that does make a
- 56:38Speaker 4: lot of sense. The control which you can control, right,
- 56:41Speaker 4: the thing that I've applied to my life pretty heavily.
- 56:44Speaker 3: But sometimes you see a quote that thing's better you
- 56:46Speaker 3: obsess about. And I saw one I don't know five
- 56:49Speaker 3: days ago that I thought, damn it, I wish I
- 56:51Speaker 3: had never read that. Every morning when you get up,
- 56:54Speaker 3: it's not another day, it's one less day?
- 56:58Speaker 1: Is the opposite?
- 57:00Speaker 5: Did you tell everything? One big leap towards the grave?
- 57:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and I can't stop thinking about that.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Seas hates all this stuff. I mean, you do you
- 57:11Speaker 4: find do you find benefit? What do you find like?
- 57:13Speaker 4: What do you personally? And this is a serious question.
- 57:16Speaker 4: I'm not trying to be a dick, right, So, like
- 57:19Speaker 4: I'm just saying I see these things like go, oh,
- 57:21Speaker 4: you know, that's a good thing to keep in mind.
- 57:22Speaker 4: And I find that if I, you know, see something
- 57:25Speaker 4: like that and I take a second just to kind
- 57:27Speaker 4: of process it, sometimes it does help me because you know,
- 57:30Speaker 4: for the long time I was concerning myself with all
- 57:33Speaker 4: these things that I couldn't control or you know, you
- 57:34Speaker 4: have no influence over, So why shouldn't spend your all
- 57:37Speaker 4: your time worrying about something changed you? Yes, that was
- 57:41Speaker 4: that was me. But for somebody like Sea Bass a
- 57:44Speaker 4: little higher. Yeah, my my legitimate question for you? What
- 57:49Speaker 4: do you find benefit? And anything have you like, where
- 57:52Speaker 4: do you get any kind of perspective from like has
- 57:56Speaker 4: anything has there ever been something that kind of made
- 57:58Speaker 4: you stop and think or re evaluate?
- 58:01Speaker 6: Well, I talked about this a while ago, where like
- 58:04Speaker 6: I as you know, any little thing you have in
- 58:06Speaker 6: your life, there are so many people that are born
- 58:08Speaker 6: with whatever terrible allergies, migrains a stigmatism club for feet,
- 58:16Speaker 6: people who suffer.
- 58:17Speaker 5: You know, traumatic brain injuries.
- 58:19Speaker 6: Maybe. You know, there's all sorts of people that have
- 58:21Speaker 6: all these problems in their lives that I don't have.
- 58:24Speaker 5: I don't have, I don't door glasses.
- 58:25Speaker 4: You know, there's a thousand different things.
- 58:27Speaker 6: I didn't have childhood cancer that just that comes out
- 58:29Speaker 6: of nowhere for a lot of people. So like stuff
- 58:31Speaker 6: like that, I think is nice to when you're like complaining, like.
- 58:35Speaker 4: Complaining, but like, is there anything that got you like, uh,
- 58:38Speaker 4: you know, onto something that actually had some kind of
- 58:41Speaker 4: like benefit to your life?
- 58:45Speaker 10: Trying to say I think you're trying to say, is
- 58:47Speaker 10: there anything out there that's motivated you?
- 58:50Speaker 5: Well, there's there's aspirational things certainly, sure, but not like
- 58:54Speaker 5: not like a piece of advice. Uh, like, well you're
- 58:56Speaker 5: seeing that.
- 58:58Speaker 6: I mean, I know I talk about it a lot,
- 58:59Speaker 6: but like things like people I aspire to do, work
- 59:03Speaker 6: that they do, people who create great things?
- 59:06Speaker 4: Who's that for you?
- 59:07Speaker 3: Now?
- 59:07Speaker 4: These days? It's changed a number of times. At one
- 59:10Speaker 4: point he wanted to be Dan Balls Aian. Yeah he's
- 59:13Speaker 4: well he is a Ye, your heroes change.
- 59:18Speaker 6: He's a tragic figure, and he's a he's a good
- 59:21Speaker 6: example of what not to do. And I've seen a
- 59:22Speaker 6: lot of people do what he did is you get
- 59:25Speaker 6: into weird political things and that becomes your personality. And
- 59:29Speaker 6: I know people in our industry who've taken that and
- 59:31Speaker 6: lost and run themselves right out of the job because
- 59:34Speaker 6: they get like super obsessed with things like that. That's
- 59:36Speaker 6: kind of what he's done. Unfortunately. Yeah, but there's people who, well.
- 59:40Speaker 4: Who's inspiring you now? People like I've.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Always said, Nathan Fielder like does the best work in
- 59:45Speaker 6: the genre that I do. It's it's reality comedy to
- 59:49Speaker 6: the next level. He's he's fully immersive, does like super
- 59:53Speaker 6: weird stuff Nathan.
- 59:54Speaker 4: For you they call the rehearsal.
- 59:57Speaker 5: In some ways, he's fixing real problems.
- 59:59Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know if he didn't he bring awareness,
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: but he and he still is funny while he's doing it.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: That's the thing too, is you can get a lot
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: of people, a lot of people who get weird in
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: the arts world just get weird and unfunny. But he
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: keeps the like, let's let's still make people laugh while
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: we're doing this sort of thing. So I think He's
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: a good example. I tell you actually were in this day.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: But like all like these business more you learn about
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: people who create great businesses, the more you learn about
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: how great they are, and it's very much.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: It's aye. You should tour someh Man's. You meet a
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: lot of those people.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: And how they like the the world we live in
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: isn't built just by Oh everybody went to a nine
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: to five job and.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: Everything was okay.
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: No, it takes real people with real drive who work
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: harder than everybody else and and really do stuff and
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: sacrifice so much. And the more you learn about their backstory,
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: you're like, oh, wow, they deserve millions, billions whatever dollars
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: because they created so much wealth and so much of
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: a greater world for all of us.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: But no I was handed to them.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Millionaire shouldn't exist.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: No, No, they're creating a better world for all of the jackasses.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: So I think that's that's probably my most recent thing,
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: is like learning more and more I learned about those
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: people and what they actually do and what they actually
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: did to get where they are. The more that's very inspiring.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and the Nathan Fielder stuff is interesting
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: because there's so much that goes into like talk about
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: not the easy ways, the easy way that people try
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: to do things and be funny or whatever. They go
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: into you know, Walmart and fart in the pants like
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: that chick. I like, but like or they or they
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: are then' be funny. But like this is like so
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: we talk about next levels. I mean just they recreated
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: the entire airports production, like down to the Panda Express,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: like just to you know, test out these different theories
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: on this the last season of the rehearsal. It's it's
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: it's trippy, and it's it's it is. It is next
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: level stuff, right.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: So people who take it, yeah, to the next level,
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: I should.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: Say, yeah, I find it like like we're just talking
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: about my buddy Andy Frissella and watching what he built,
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: the company that he built First Form and all the
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: other things that he's doing and where he came from,
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: and how I find that inspiring. I find people like
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: you know, Joe Koy, Bert Kreischer, Gabriel Iglesias, like some
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: of these you know, comics and stuff. Because I've said
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: this before, they really don't answer to anybody but their fans.
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: Ye.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: All you gotta do is from a position where it's like, yes, okay,
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: we need to make the listeners happy enough to tune
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: into something they don't have to necessarily pay for. That's
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: the thing. There's so many things out there that you
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: could choose. What makes you choose this and tune into this?
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: So yes, we have to do things that will make
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: the people who are listening happy. I want to come
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: back and keep listening. But at the same time, we
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: have these overlords of corporate and advertisers and things like that,
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: which great. The advertisers make the world go around too,
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: but we just can't do anything we want because you risk.
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: Yeah, you see.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Whereas those guys man, all they have to do is
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: make their fans happy and they'll you know, engage in
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: their podcast the more importantly they'll buy tickets to their shows,
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: things like that, they'll watch their Netflix special, the merch
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: that that is huge. I find a huge inspiration in
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: uh in that someone who diversified, you know, this role
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: into a bunch of other things. Charlemagne, Charlemage the gout
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: another friend, but like just being able to talk to
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: him and see all the different things that he's got
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: going on, and you know, to really just yeah, like dude,
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: like you that that that's the stuff, the stuff that
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: I think makes you more independent of obligation or dependency
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: on anybody else or anything else. That's the stuff I find,
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: whether it's mentally, physically, financially, that's the stuff I find
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: the most motivating.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I would be remiss if I didn't tell you Charlemagne
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: is going to be on the next episode of Hacks.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: What made he made it? He kidding?
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: I just tour on that really doing what.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: He's playing himself. Invans, Yeah, I.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: Know your inspiration, Greg, because did you even know who
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: she was before five years ago?
- 1:04:21Speaker 14: Really?
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Jean Smart? Yeah, I knew who she was.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: I didn't know she was just talented.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: Did you to play Depravance? No, nobody knew that. That
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: just blindsided everybody. She would make the greatest show forty four.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: It's eight seven seven forty four. Wooding. I want to
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: open up the phones a last man standing. I think
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: everybody's gotten a good piece of advice, like something that
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: you know they really just the whole worry about what
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: you can control and don't worry about things that you
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: can't control, and even to the people get crazy on
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: uh freaking out about they're going to get cheated on.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: There's nothing you can do. There's no way to control
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: if someone's gonna cheat on you. They're just gonna cheat
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: on you.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You can on their phone.
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: Yeah, you.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Can make yourself insane.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I think you get better shape.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: Yeah, stop being such a rag. No, but you know
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: they get so just consumed by it, and there's nothing
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: you can do. Like, if they're gonna cheat on you,
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: they're gonna cheat on you. So that that to me
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: was the best thing. So we'll hope up the phones.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: And the Last man Standing works is we'll hear a call,
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: we'll hear what they have to say. We'll go to
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: the next one here what they have to say, you know,
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: and then pick our favorite of the two. And the
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: last man Standing topic, what's the best piece of advice
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: that you've ever gotten that you have found the most
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: helpful in your own life, so you can win a prize? Motivation, Yeah, exactly,
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: use it to your advantage. Best advice you've ever got,
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: single piece of advice, best single piece of advice you've
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: ever gotten? Eight seven seven forty four woody. If you
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: want to call in for Last man Standing eight seven
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: seven forty four woody, we'll do that. Next on The
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Woody Show.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Hanging out The Woody Show. We'll be right there.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: The Woody Show, Last Man Standing, Best advice you Ever got?
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Eight seven, seven forty four Woody to call in six
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: oh three, texting over in the context of working around
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: heavy machinery, if you wouldn't put your pecker in there,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: don't put your finger in there.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: That's that's why, that's the standard.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: It's always so tense though, Yeah, what if I put
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: my hand in Yeah.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: The other good thing is like, don't take don't take
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: any criticism from somebody that you wouldn't take advice from.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: Love that recently.
- 1:06:49Speaker 11: I also love in the vein of like not worrying
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: about what you know can't control. If it won't matter
- 1:06:53Speaker 11: in five years, it doesn't matter.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Now, that's a classic.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: I love that one.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: Here's how it's gonna work. Okay, I'm listening because we're
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: emotional suckers, the rest of us, you easily, you are
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: a hardened robot. So we'll hear out everybody's best advice
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: they ever got, and then you, solely at your discretion,
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: get to choose who moves on.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: So powerful, Yeah, kill right?
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Yeah, So we can all I'll still get to put
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: these on my Pinterest board though we can.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: We can all chime in, we can all chime in,
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: but the sea bass gets the final decision because he's
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: smarter than all this just to.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: Ask on this is smart. Uh huh, smart move by you.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: This is all right. Let's let's say hi to Audrey. Hey, Audrey, Hi, alright,
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: all right, so what's the what's the best advice you
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: ever got? Best advice I ever got?
- 1:07:48Speaker 15: I actually got a chattooed on me, which is, be
- 1:07:50Speaker 15: the best version of yourself.
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: And then to add, find it of you love you'll
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: never find a job.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Find it ja you love you and never work a
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: day in your life.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Okay, So be the best version of yourself. That's a
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: that's Audrey's. And then uh, we'll put her on hold
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: and we'll say hi to Jacob. Hi, Jacob, jeez morning,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: he's on a motocross course right there, all right, Jacob,
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: the single best piece of advice you've ever gotten.
- 1:08:15Speaker 14: It's better to be hated for something you are than
- 1:08:18Speaker 14: to be loved for something you're not.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: Okay, all right, so be the best version of yourself.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: This is really kind of be the most authentic version
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: of yourself. Better to be hated for something that you
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: are instead of love for something that you aren't. All right,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: all right, your vote?
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: I love that second one. That's a great one.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: That's a that's a good one.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: That one resonates with me more.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, man, it's Sammy.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: You know the second one.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: I agree, second.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: One, Yeah, I guess yeah, second one.
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: Now you see, that's just trying to go against us,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: because like if we all saying the majority of us
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: like the second one, does he just go with the
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: first one? Is because we don't think so no, like
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: what other version of yourself? Okay, fine, choose and then
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: show your work.
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: Okay, well my work unfortunately of all some cheating. But
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: she did it by getting a tattoo of this thing
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: on herself. And you know how much I think tattoos
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: are smart and cool and are definitely good ideas and
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: well worth the.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Money in time.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: Therefore, the first one, but that's not the advice. I
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: mean the devices one half a dozen.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: All right, Audrew, hang on one second, Jacob, thank you
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: for your call, appreciate you listening. Let's go to Jeremy. Hey, Jeremy,
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Jeremy ill going. Good morning, Jeremy. All right, So what's
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: the single best advice you ever got?
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: Single best advice I ever received was if you believe
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: you can or can't? You are right. I believe in
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: yourself and you can do any of it.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Okay, So if you believe you can either way, you're right.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: We'll go right to Sea Bass on this one. Between
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: Audrey and Jeremy, which one sticks around for last man Standing?
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: That was nothing. I mean, it was true, but nothing
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: too special. So we're sticking with Audrey.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: Sticking with Audrey. Be the best version of yourself. All right, Jeremy,
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: thank you for the call. Say hi to Douglas. What's
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: up Douglas?
- 1:10:10Speaker 7: Hey, what's going on?
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: Last manderstanding? What's the single best piece of advice you
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: ever got?
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: When someone asked you a question? If you're wronger right,
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: answer the question. So if you're just staying there waiting
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: for them to for them answer, you'll never get leadership
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: out of yourself.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: You know, I have that sense a litt on a pillow,
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: just like that, it's concise.
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: I'm actually I just heard a version of this just recently.
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: It's just like, make a decision, even if it's right
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: or wrong. Just make a decisions like yeah, I'll get
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: to that later. I'll give you answer later. Like, just
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: make a decision.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: Yeah, you know menace.
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: That's another famous quote that that reminds me of is
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: the choice might be wrong, the choosing is not okay.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: So I had This is another thing that I have
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: employed more recently. I saw, I saw this thing. I'm like,
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: you know what, man, because you could sit there and
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: you can talk about something and think about something and
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: try to plan something, and you'll know you're still on
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: step number one. And somebody posts this ugly action beats
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: perfection and it's like two ladders. One is like all
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: jacked up and not looking corfectly, but it has like
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: seven steps on it, where the other ones only like
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: that got the first two rungs on it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: So who's further ahead? That's the version of DOUBLET perfection
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: be an enemy of Yeah, good good, ugly action beats perfection?
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: All right, sea bats who who sticks around?
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: Terrible at delivery. So we're sticking with the first lady.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: All right, dougle, thank you. Let's say hi to Austin. Austin,
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: what's up, last man? Standing? What's the single best piece
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: of advice you ever got.
- 1:11:49Speaker 17: You know this goes in hand and hand what you're
- 1:11:51Speaker 17: talking about with your kid's in life is hard sometimes
- 1:11:54Speaker 17: no matter how hard something may be, and no matter
- 1:11:57Speaker 17: what challenges you may face, those challenges will make you
- 1:12:00Speaker 17: into the person that you will become in the best
- 1:12:03Speaker 17: version of yourself.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Okay, adding on to its kind of embellishing.
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: All right, Uh, let's see which one Sea Bass Austin
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: or Audrey.
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: Austin's has got some big holes in it?
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: The best version of yourself number one, best version of
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: yourself is just but number two, like so the person
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: so you have went through all these challenges and suddenly
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: you have PTSD and and you're now a serial killer.
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: Not the best version of yourself. So it's logically wrong,
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: so we'll stay with the first.
- 1:12:31Speaker 11: Lady, see beuys, I couldn't agree more because I see
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: interviews with like crackheads and stuff, and they always ask.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: What would you change?
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: Because it made me who I am today?
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Exactly? I see that all the sense only yeah, just wrong.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: All right, let's see Mike is up next. What a Mike.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: You man?
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: Standing single best piece of advice you ever got?
- 1:12:59Speaker 14: So I seved this advice from my mentor when I
- 1:13:01Speaker 14: was in the military, and he said, if you want
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: to do something, and if you want to take advantage
- 1:13:06Speaker 14: of an opportunity, ask for it. The worst someone can
- 1:13:09Speaker 14: do is say no, yeah.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: That's a version of you don't you don't get what
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: you don't ask for the squeaky wheel. Right.
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: I like that, He's right.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: I think you could take that a step further and
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: say make it happen, take it, and demand it.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: So I'm still going with the first lady really well
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: asked for it.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: I thought you'd think that was good practical, Like what,
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: why why is the first one better than that one
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: in your mind?
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: Uh?
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Because are you just gonna say the first one for
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: all of them?
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: That's what he's doing because she tattooed it on herself.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: So again I committed.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: I agree that that's a bit of a cheat.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: But she she again, she offered that and she used it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: So unless anybody has this advice tattooed on them, they're
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: not gonna they're not gonna overcome.
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: It's not true. In fact, I'm.
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: Just asking your decision. I'm just saying real tough to
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: get this call in. But there is one specific piece
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: of advice said by one Elon Musk that I'm specifically
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: and if you get through, I'm not saying that's the
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: only thing that can win, but if you get through
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: with that, oh my god, I'll I'll.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: That's not just because it was the first one.
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: I'll also say the quote that he just said is
- 1:14:23Speaker 10: pretty much what I've done my entire career.
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: You can't wait for somebody to give it to you. Yeah,
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: I said this to Morgan for like two years now.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: People this company are just gonna hand you things.
- 1:14:32Speaker 10: Well, that was going to be like one of my
- 1:14:33Speaker 10: quotes is like, no one's here to save your ever.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: You just gotta go.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: Let's say hi to Ezra. Hey, Ezra doing We're doing great?
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: So what's the single best piece of advice you ever got?
- 1:14:49Speaker 15: The best advice I ever got was to be happy.
- 1:14:51Speaker 15: You must eliminate two things, the fear of bad future
- 1:14:54Speaker 15: and the fear of your bad memories.
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: It's a fear of bad future, fear of bad memory.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: Those are the two things you have to like go
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: upright to be happy?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: So Ezra or Audrey seedbat now Audrey, I'm sorry, Ezra
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: you don't happen to have this tattooed on you.
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: You don't want to tell us.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Your entire leg It's not like on a sign that
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: hangs in your house, like somewhere like in the living
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: room or something.
- 1:15:22Speaker 15: If I win, I will get a tattooed on my
- 1:15:24Speaker 15: But she if that work.
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: Oh nice, a different font right right then?
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, I mean that was a bit no offense,
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: but to be honest about it, it's a bit general.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: And Seabas, can I make a case for this one?
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: I'm listening because yeah, she's kind of saying like, look,
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: something bad may have happened to you in your life,
- 1:15:43Speaker 10: and a lot of things happened, and bad things happened
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: to a lot of people. Everybody, yes to everybody, but
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: a lot of people kind of make that their personality
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: or they never.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Let it go.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: Man, this is helping you out because all he needs
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: to do to string this together is to add in
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: this is why therapy sucks.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: And then they just like they never let it go
- 1:16:01Speaker 10: and they make it affect their life and they project
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: it onto other people constantly.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: You're totally right, because there are grown adults who bitch
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: and moan about a high school experience forty years ago,
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: and they're.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Like, well, you got to move forward.
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: You make exra or ay, you make excellent points.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: However, because I'm that never would apply to me in
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: my life, I'm gonna still pass over it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: But you had a very good.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Okay I try.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: Thank you, Ezra, appreciate it. Let's go to al Hey,
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: al show you know you know my last man standing,
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: single best piece of advice you ever got.
- 1:16:40Speaker 14: Just because you can afford a payment doesn't mean that
- 1:16:42Speaker 14: you can afford an item.
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: Oh that's good, sounds Dave Ramsey. I'm going to write
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: that down one okay.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: Say one more time for for Gina who wants to
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: write this down. Just because you can't afford their payment does.
- 1:16:58Speaker 14: Mean that you can afford the item.
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: I just write that down.
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: That's very, very true, and it goes to the things

- 1:26:48Speaker 4: and meth and also some weapons. She sold somebody a
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: gun illegally, and then, just to make sure that she
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: had all corners of the market for weapons covered, she
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: sold someone a bouncing Betty Land mine.
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: Oh my god, where.
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: Do you get that?

- 1:27:43Speaker 4: Where do you get that?
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Afraid to handle?
- 1:27:45Speaker 11: That is trying to save me for myself? Because I

- 1:27:51Speaker 11: where to buy a landline?
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: To look for that?
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: Yeah, So the cops they got wind of the sails,

- 1:28:29Speaker 4: and disruptive. The guy had abused his staff, and he'd
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: come out of the restaurant. At one point even bit
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: a flight attendant while being restrained. The situation escalated. Parents
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: parents passengers intervened though, like we keep talking about that,
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: like people can't act up on a plane, and yeah,

- 1:29:32Speaker 4: They started tapping on the window demanding that he get
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: out of the car. He did, and they put the
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: cuffs on him immediately, saying that they had a warrant
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: for him because he violated his parole. Now, when they
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: searched him, they found a bag of fentanyl in the
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: guy's pocket something that he claimed was sugar. Cops found
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: more of this sugar in his other pocket, but before
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: the cops could question him about it, he took a
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: huff and he blew the fentanyl in their face. But
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: did they die?
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: From what we're told in the news, they should all drop.
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: It depends on the bat right.
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: There was a there was a time where people were saying,
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: don't pick up, Like if it looks like a dollar
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: bill in a parking lot, don't pick it up because
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: even the people are putting speckers drop. Yeah, they got
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: pin drop of fentanyl on there, and people are picking
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: up the dollar to get the dollar and then it
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: ends up in the hospital because it's got fentanyl on it.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: Like give away from the man said it was because
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: he saw the cop he got some fentanyl in his hand.

- 1:34:38Speaker 3: Against that is a big, heavy wheel that would have
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: some serious damage.
- 1:34:44Speaker 4: It's like four dollars worth of crap.
- 1:34:47Speaker 7: All right, all right, okay, let's just see what.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: I got, just just just for fun, just to see.

- 1:35:37Speaker 4: let me.
- 1:35:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: The deal with the wheel is that the scary the
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: thing that the wheel hangs on, like the arm that
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: hangs up like the bottom needs to be tightened, the
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: middle needs to be tightened. So it's just completely off bound.
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: It's like an unbalanced watching machine.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: God forbid we ever get a new wheel.
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: Then I saw it bleaking your eye and I knew
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: you were banging.

- 1:36:47Speaker 4: at the end of the round, whoever's the weakest link
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: will be asked to leave and it gets narrowed down,
- 1:36:51Speaker 4: narrowed down. So the idea is to have the strongest
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: players so we can get the food, you know. Yeah,
- 1:36:56Speaker 4: So that's what we're trying to do here, the weakest link.

- 1:48:51Speaker 4: It's to make you like more like chiseling anything structuring.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: It makes it more like puffy and like tight.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: It's and people are really doing it, yeah, so much
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: so that doctor debrou had to put a warning out
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: of him again.
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: I'm watched, Yeah, he rules.
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: So they purposely giving themselves cauliflower ear?
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: Do they not know how gross that.
- 1:49:12Speaker 5: Was to look?
- 1:49:12Speaker 15: Like?
- 1:49:13Speaker 4: I mean, Greg, you're from your people are from this area? Yes,
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: they are men in Russia. They're getting a done. Combat
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: sports super popular in Russia, and because of that men
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: are paying for procedures that give them the cauliflower ear
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: on purpose so they can quote and still fear in.
- 1:49:28Speaker 5: Other men's attract Morgan, that's true.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: I saw somebody at the concert that we were just
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: at over the weekend where this guy was, you know,
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: the guy with the califlower. This guy, I don't even
- 1:49:42Speaker 4: know how he hears it, just it looks like it
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: was like like it just closed like it was closed up.
- 1:49:48Speaker 10: But with all that said, yeah, yeah, if you're at
- 1:49:51Speaker 10: a bar and you see a guy with the ear
- 1:49:52Speaker 10: like that, there's no way I'm gonna mess.
- 1:49:55Speaker 4: With that guy, even if it was real. Now, how
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: does that happen? Like, I know wrestlers, like when I
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: remember there were like kids on the wrestling team once a. Yeah,
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: is that what it is? But like what does it do?
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: Does it break up the like how does your how
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: does your ear permanently end up like that if everything
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: else on your body can heal?
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: Yeah, and.
- 1:50:16Speaker 11: Separates the skin from the cartilage and so it just
- 1:50:18Speaker 11: kind of is like flopping out there. Yeah, and it's
- 1:50:21Speaker 11: a it's a It creates a schematoma. Yeah, it creates
- 1:50:24Speaker 11: a blood pocket that cuts off the blood supply to
- 1:50:26Speaker 11: the cartilage. So if you don't, if you don't treat
- 1:50:29Speaker 11: it, it just sort of dies and looks folded.
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: They have the best deal, gone, Greg, eighty dollars an ear?
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: Oh Greg, you want to do this so bad?
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: Oh? Some of these.
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: Gross And they go on for several sessions to make
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: sure that ear looks just right.
- 1:50:45Speaker 5: Oh, why don't you just get in a fight.
- 1:50:47Speaker 3: Yeah, right, bunch of times.
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: Yeah, dumb.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: Oh that's gross.
- 1:50:51Speaker 4: One of the many things that people do. I like, man,
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: you paid for that, Yeah, you paid for that.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: Look. Yeah.
- 1:50:57Speaker 3: And when you google calliflower ear, some of.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: The examples hard. Oh not good.
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: It looks like a babboon's buttole nauseating.
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: Some guys like the rocket though it protrudes.
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: It's all crinkled up.
- 1:51:09Speaker 4: I could see if you earned it. But the fake it, yeah,
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: the fake it. That's so weak.
- 1:51:14Speaker 11: Like remember there was a trend of dudes getting like
- 1:51:18Speaker 11: pecks and calves put in silicone pads.
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: Ros. Yeah, you gotta feel like at some point, you know,
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: every guy's got a cauliflower ear is going to be
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: put to the test. And if you can't meet the moment.
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: Well, yeah, if you meet another guy that has the cauliflower.
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: Yeah, how'd you get yours? Doctor, bro?
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: I want to get absculpting one day, and then I
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: also hope I don't even know if it's a thing.
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: Do they have ear reduction surgery? To get ear reduction surgery?
- 1:51:48Speaker 4: Because your ears continue to grow? I'm asking, is that true.
- 1:51:53Speaker 11: Ears and nose? That's true cartilage? Yeah, because it's cartilage.
- 1:51:57Speaker 4: Just continues to grow for your entire life.
- 1:51:59Speaker 5: That's why old people suddenly they do.
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: Yeah, my ears are huge.
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: It kind of almost looks like it's pierced.
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: Both ears are peers.
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: Oh they are princess.
- 1:52:12Speaker 3: This one has like a fold.
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: My new internet work has two cauliflower ears and menace
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: is right. I wouldn't f with them.
- 1:52:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I wouldn't intimidating, so you can just be a spawn.
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: Still, I'm going to stick to my rule and not
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: f with anybody.
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll just do that.
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: That's probably.
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: I'm not going to pick fights with anybody.
- 1:52:30Speaker 4: Sure, I'm also not going to here. You know, you
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: don't mess with the guy who even goes to get
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: this done on purpose, because it just shows that they're crazy.
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: Yeah, they have bad judgment a different level.
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: Maybe not like they'll be very able to beat you up,
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: you know, crazy, but they're they're insane.
- 1:52:45Speaker 5: They make bad decisions, they make poor decisions.
