Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go off the watch.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Is the best moment. I thought.
- 0:06Speaker 1: In the steven A Smith chat on The View where
- 0:09Speaker 1: Sonny Houston tried to trap him, I tried to demonstrate
- 0:12Speaker 1: how wrong he was about something.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Stephen A.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Smith ranted about how ridiculous the Seditious Six as they're
- 0:20Speaker 1: being called are specifically one member of the Seditious Six,
- 0:23Speaker 1: and how their encouragement for military men and women to
- 0:27Speaker 1: ignore orders from the president even though they couldn't identify
- 0:31Speaker 1: any orders the President had given that they thought were illegal.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And he ranted about Mark Kelly specifically stephen A did
- 0:38Speaker 1: that this was bad, that this was wrong, and so
- 0:40Speaker 1: Houstin confronted him about it, even played the audio of
- 0:43Speaker 1: him talking about that story on his show that he
- 0:47Speaker 1: was definitely much more adamant about. And I thought this
- 0:49Speaker 1: back and forth was great. Even if steven A didn't
- 0:52Speaker 1: go full steven A, which means screaming and yelling. He
- 0:55Speaker 1: actually was much more calm than you expect him to be.
- 0:57Speaker 1: But here let's play a little bit of that audio.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Let me just I just remind you that Pete Hegseth
- 1:03Speaker 3: said in twenty sixteen, I do think there have to
- 1:07Speaker 3: be consequences for abject war crimes. If you're doing something
- 1:11Speaker 3: that is just completely unlawful and ruthless, then there is
- 1:13Speaker 3: a consequence for that. That's why the military said it
- 1:16Speaker 3: won't follow unlawful orders from their commander in chief. Now,
- 1:20Speaker 3: given the fact that the Secretary.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Himself said that, it's also sort of insane that these
- 1:26Speaker 1: view audience members are so far to the left that
- 1:29Speaker 1: they're applauding this, because, yes, if there is actual orders
- 1:32Speaker 1: that are given that are illegal, even HeiG set degrees
- 1:35Speaker 1: and obviously hegg seth degrees, you shouldn't follow them.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That's not what's happening.
- 1:39Speaker 1: They're politicizing things, pretending that something is illegal when nothing
- 1:42Speaker 1: has been and they even admit to themselves nothing has been.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Regu let's see, when I respond.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I'd love to give you the opportunity to perhaps change
- 1:49Speaker 3: your position on what you said.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I'm not changing the thing. You want to stay it loud, Well,
- 1:54Speaker 4: you could call it loud and wrong. Oh you want to.
- 1:56Speaker 4: You're entitled to your opinion. I'm entitled to mind. He
- 1:58Speaker 4: has to be out of the in the situation of
- 2:00Speaker 4: all I don't give a damn what Pete heg saith
- 2:01Speaker 4: has to say, because I will tell you right now
- 2:03Speaker 4: he was never qualified for the job. Can you talk
- 2:05Speaker 4: about David guide eradicating that? Excuse me, what was he
- 2:08Speaker 4: doing hosting Fox News on the weekend and all of
- 2:10Speaker 4: a sudden he's the Defense secretary.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Just give me a break.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I don't care what he has to say. He leaned
- 2:14Speaker 2: into the democratic narrative.
- 2:16Speaker 4: About the way as it pertains to Mark Kelly, what
- 2:18Speaker 4: I was talking about is military. What I did was
- 2:21Speaker 4: get on the phone with family and French who have
- 2:24Speaker 4: served in the military, and I said, we're not civilians.
- 2:27Speaker 5: This is not the court of law.
- 2:29Speaker 4: You can be implicated for implying something if you are
- 2:32Speaker 4: a former military member or you are a present military member.
- 2:35Speaker 4: It wasn't what Mark Kelly said. It's the fact that
- 2:38Speaker 4: he was a combat Navy pilot who served in the military.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Who would folks ignore an order when it could get.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I said illegal legal?
- 2:49Speaker 2: There are no illegal orders. They've all admitted there's no
- 2:52Speaker 2: illegal orders. But I love that. Stephen A.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Smith was very good, in my opinion, at getting to
- 2:56Speaker 1: the point. In the second half of his answer, of course,
- 2:59Speaker 1: he leaned in and demons traded his democratic whatever as
- 3:02Speaker 1: democraticqualifications by crapping on Pete Hegseth, who has done a
- 3:07Speaker 1: fantastic job in my opinion as the director the Secretary
- 3:12Speaker 1: of War, which is an awesome name for the Defense Department.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But nonetheless, I just thought this was awesome that Steve
- 3:18Speaker 1: and I would sit there and just absolutely rip apart
- 3:21Speaker 1: the narrative that he said anything at all that he
- 3:24Speaker 1: regrets because he talked to people within the military, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: saying that you should ignore the orders of the sitting
- 3:30Speaker 1: president for any reason is actually fully insane. I want
- 3:34Speaker 1: to move on to something else that I like a lot.
- 3:36Speaker 1: This could also be a popcorn moment, although it's not political,
- 3:39Speaker 1: so we don't have to call it that. But Columbia
- 3:41Speaker 1: Sportswear has pledged to give their entire company to anyone
- 3:46Speaker 1: out there that can prove definitively that the Earth is flat.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I think they even have a spot that they put
- 3:53Speaker 1: over on the Internet and other places talking about this.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I want to play this audio.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's the CEO of the company, Tim Boyle, saying flat earthers,
- 4:02Speaker 1: come on out, prove to us this thing and you
- 4:05Speaker 1: get the entire company.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Hi, I'm Tim Boyle.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I'm the CEO here at Columbia Sports Square, and this
- 4:10Speaker 4: message is for flat earthers.
- 4:12Speaker 5: You guys claim there's.
- 4:13Speaker 2: An end to the earth.
- 4:15Speaker 4: We'll just go snap a picture, send it to us,
- 4:18Speaker 4: and you get the assets in the company.
- 4:20Speaker 5: All of it.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Awesome, no paperwork, no lawyers, no catches.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I'm tim there is some paperwork.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Hey, we're giving you.
- 4:28Speaker 1: All this, this and all of that.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Hey, flat earthers, do me a favor.
- 4:34Speaker 5: You're going to the edge of the earth where Columbia.
- 4:37Speaker 2: You'll need it. Yeah, you probably do need it. What
- 4:39Speaker 2: do we think of this?
- 4:40Speaker 5: That a company ad? That's really good, isn't it.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I think it's awesome, And I would like to take
- 4:46Speaker 1: a lot of deceptive photos that make it look like
- 4:48Speaker 1: I found the end of the earth.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Because he said, no lawyers, he said, no strings attached.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I feel like I can take a photo that looks
- 4:54Speaker 1: like it's the end of the earth and then I
- 4:56Speaker 1: win the company.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Well, somebody's get to the edge of the Grand Canyon
- 4:59Speaker 5: take a shot.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And I found it, found it, We got it.
- 5:02Speaker 3: No.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I love the challenge.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I love that this is out there and being talked about.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Of course, the earth is not flat in fact, for
- 5:07Speaker 1: anyone that thinks it is so. Colombia is not risking
- 5:10Speaker 1: very much by doing this. But I feel like they
- 5:12Speaker 1: could branch even deeper into conspiracy theory and tell people,
- 5:16Speaker 1: if you can prove this thing or that thing, you
- 5:18Speaker 1: also get the company. I think we can go beyond
- 5:20Speaker 1: the flat earth and dive even deeper.
- 5:22Speaker 6: If you've had a family member get sick off Keemtrails,
- 5:25Speaker 6: you can own the store.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I mean it would be It'd be awesome, man, Like,
- 5:30Speaker 1: let's have the conspiracy theorists actually have something they can
- 5:33Speaker 1: win if they go into this world and really prove
- 5:35Speaker 1: a thing.
- 5:36Speaker 5: I love this so much.
- 5:38Speaker 6: If you can prove that Downtown Monument was built by
- 5:40Speaker 6: the Illuminati, you can own our store.
- 5:43Speaker 1: If you can prove that Jeffrey Epstein hung himself, please
- 5:47Speaker 1: you get the company, You get all the work boots
- 5:49Speaker 1: you want. Yeah, And to be honest, man, I'm not
- 5:52Speaker 1: saying that I don't believe that that could have happened.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I just want someone to prove some of these things,
- 5:55Speaker 1: some of the conspiracy theories might be true, and let's
- 5:58Speaker 1: give somebody a reward for actually in the deep dive.
- 6:00Speaker 6: B Because that'll always spill on purpose. Welcome and you
- 6:03Speaker 6: own the store. Now, Oh man, how great would that be.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'd love the press conference where one of these people
- 6:09Speaker 1: actually does prove something is in fact real, and then
- 6:12Speaker 1: they're awarded an entire company for it. And then I
- 6:14Speaker 1: love the way that their company might be run by
- 6:17Speaker 1: the guy who did the deep dive into the conspiracy theory,
- 6:19Speaker 1: because Columbia Sportswear will get a lot crazier as an
- 6:22Speaker 1: organization once people get involved in it. That you believe
- 6:25Speaker 1: some of this stuff, but nonetheless, again I think that
- 6:28Speaker 1: we deserve a reward for some of the conspiracies that
- 6:30Speaker 1: wind up being true. And anyone out there that's getting
- 6:32Speaker 1: mad at the radio, I promise you I believe some
- 6:35Speaker 1: conspiracies actually are accurate. It's too a planned of a
- 6:39Speaker 1: term to use on too many things. But this is
- 6:41Speaker 1: just such a great, great spot, very very much something
- 6:45Speaker 1: that I think will get a lot of people talking
- 6:46Speaker 1: about Columbia, which I definitely wouldn't talk about without this.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Well, he's going to get sued.
- 6:51Speaker 6: The company is going to get sued eventually, because you're
- 6:54Speaker 6: going to be This reminds me you could take a
- 6:56Speaker 6: picture of anything because you're making the conspiracy theory about
- 6:59Speaker 6: the world is flat. So anything to you is going
- 7:01Speaker 6: to be real hardline evidence if you believe that. And
- 7:04Speaker 6: it reminds me remember way back Yester Lore, the kid
- 7:08Speaker 6: with the Pepsi points and Pepsi was saying, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 6: one of their commercials, they flew in an M sixteen
- 7:13Speaker 6: and say as a joke like, if you collect all
- 7:16Speaker 6: your Pepsi points, you're gonna be able to trade them
- 7:18Speaker 6: in for this MiG for this jet fighter. And so
- 7:21Speaker 6: one kid, kind of a smartness says, yeah, I can
- 7:23Speaker 6: do that, and he gets all the points and they're like,
- 7:25Speaker 6: no supercraft, no super airlined, and he sued them and
- 7:29Speaker 6: one and yeah, it's kind of a interesting story. So
- 7:34Speaker 6: this guy from Columbia boots. I'm always a little apprehensive
- 7:36Speaker 6: when you put it out there, like, yeah, you do
- 7:39Speaker 6: this and you're going to get this, especially wh you
- 7:41Speaker 6: don't have a clear set of the terms.
- 7:43Speaker 5: You know, you don't have you want lawyers involved in this.
- 7:45Speaker 5: I would think, you know what.
- 7:46Speaker 1: A great reference Leonard versus PepsiCo that you just talked
- 7:49Speaker 1: about a little bit ago when he went and did
- 7:51Speaker 1: the deep dive into I deserve a fighter jet and
- 7:54Speaker 1: an AV eight harrier too thing, and yeah, he deserved
- 7:59Speaker 1: it absolutely. PepsiCo said that there's also this viral video
- 8:03Speaker 1: on TikTok of a dude who put the call letters
- 8:05Speaker 1: to a radio station on his forehead.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Have you seen this at all?
- 8:10Speaker 1: They did a promo at a radio station where like,
- 8:12Speaker 1: if you tattoo our call letters to your face, we'll
- 8:15Speaker 1: give you thirty thousand dollars. And they said it was
- 8:17Speaker 1: a joke on air several times, but they said it
- 8:20Speaker 1: convincingly enough that a dude did it and he won
- 8:22Speaker 1: like a stupid court case in one of those people
- 8:24Speaker 1: court places where he actually put the call letters on
- 8:27Speaker 1: his face. And so you do have to be careful
- 8:30Speaker 1: about the things you offer and how you offer them
- 8:32Speaker 1: on the radio or anywhere on television or the internet,
- 8:35Speaker 1: because if someone can take it as legitimate, they can
- 8:38Speaker 1: actually try to pursue it and then maybe get you
- 8:40Speaker 1: in trouble in.
- 8:40Speaker 2: A court room.
- 8:41Speaker 5: So you know, if you tattoo in dot on the
- 8:43Speaker 5: small of your back, I'll send you a T shirt.
- 8:45Speaker 5: How about that?
- 8:46Speaker 2: That's fine? So are you gonna say, Carl.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Imagine if the owners of that radio station to double
- 8:51Speaker 5: up the joke on him, change the format and the
- 8:54Speaker 5: call letters.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Oh dude, that would be harsh. That would be difficult.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But they had to fork over some month, so that's
- 9:00Speaker 1: something that definitely had to happen. I do love that
- 9:02Speaker 1: Matt's Gonna Go t shirt though, because we can facilitate that.
- 9:05Speaker 1: We can make that happen. Man, if you put if
- 9:08Speaker 1: you get a Matt Bear tattoo.
- 9:09Speaker 5: No, no, I wanted to say.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I wanted to say, you know what, either either or
- 9:13Speaker 1: I feel like if they get the Matt Bear tattoo,
- 9:15Speaker 1: they also deserve a T shirt man, or I guess
- 9:19Speaker 1: Matt and or Yeah, if you get Matt and Craig
- 9:22Speaker 1: Excellent Podcast tattooed on your bottle, we will also give
- 9:29Speaker 1: you a T shirt. That show is out there, It's
- 9:32Speaker 1: able to be listened to all the time, right,
