- 1:10Speaker 1: your questions and doctor, how you doing this morning?
- 1:13Speaker 2: I'm doing great, and thank goodness, there's only one of me.
- 1:15Speaker 2: My staff would not be able to keep up with
- 1:18Speaker 2: two of them.
- 1:19Speaker 1: You are real quick before we get and we're going
- 1:22Speaker 1: to talk this week about, of course, conversations you have
- 1:25Speaker 1: with your vet. Sometimes you get a diagnosis, and some
- 1:27Speaker 1: of the questions you should be asking and some really important,
- 1:31Speaker 1: uh sometimes very hard questions you should be asking your vet.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We're gonna get that in just a moment, but I
- 1:35Speaker 1: did want to talk about that doctor you you of
- 1:38Speaker 1: course have own and run Checkout Veterinary Clinic along with
- 1:42Speaker 1: your husband and and and the clinic and Marshall as
- 1:45Speaker 1: well as check In Vet and Lamira's clinic as well.
- 1:48Speaker 1: But you're also an attorney on top of all of that,
- 1:52Speaker 1: uh and and people are saying, well, what does she
- 1:54Speaker 1: practice law? Attorney? What would it was? It actually relates
- 1:57Speaker 1: very much to what you what you do when it
- 1:59Speaker 1: come to taking care of pets, doesn't it.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Mostly what I've done has been animal law and
- 2:04Speaker 2: not currently actively practicing. My law partner retired, so at
- 2:08Speaker 2: that point I said, Okay, I can't do this all
- 2:11Speaker 2: by myself, so I stepped away from that. But it
- 2:14Speaker 2: has opened a lot of doors for me and it's
- 2:15Speaker 2: been really a lot of fun to be able to
- 2:17Speaker 2: apply those sets of knowledge because they do a ligne
- 2:21Speaker 2: when it comes to animal law and animal welfare and
- 2:27Speaker 2: all the other stuff that goes along with that. So
- 2:29Speaker 2: it's been it's been good. And I also work at
- 2:31Speaker 2: Revival Animal Health, So yes, I have another job too
- 2:34Speaker 2: because I needed another part time job to keep me busy.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You are, man, I don't even know there's I look
- 2:42Speaker 1: at the look at the twenty four hours of a day.
- 2:44Speaker 1: How do you have you get time to sleep? I
- 2:46Speaker 1: sometimes wonder, Oh, I really well.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But I have amazing people, Amazing people that support me.
- 2:52Speaker 2: My husband, my staff, my managers. They're all incredible people.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So without them doing the stuff behind the scenes, they
- 3:00Speaker 2: all have been very supportive and have been great. The
- 3:02Speaker 2: only reason I got through law school is I hired
- 3:04Speaker 2: a doctor that was willing to work the hours when
- 3:06Speaker 2: I went to class. So it's been it's been really good.
- 3:09Speaker 2: But you know, in law school, all my classmates would
- 3:12Speaker 2: party on Saturday night or Sunday and I'd be doing
- 3:15Speaker 2: C sections. So matter how you spend your free time. Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 2: that is.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It's so cool to see and all that you've accomplished.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And you've also written a couple of books, one of
- 3:26Speaker 1: which I recently picked up a copy of My Pandemic Puppy.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I've got it up in my office right now and
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm going to have to have you sign it one
- 3:32Speaker 1: of these days. But for people are saying, my pandemic,
- 3:35Speaker 1: demic Puppy, what's what's it about? It's a really good
- 3:39Speaker 1: regardless of what's going on. It's a really good guide
- 3:42Speaker 1: for folks that are bringing a new patent to their home.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It's a really good guide for families, isn't it.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I hope so I think it is. It was written
- 3:53Speaker 2: with some kind of a plant to it for the pandemic,
- 3:56Speaker 2: because we knew people would have been We're going to
- 3:58Speaker 2: be going back to school and going back to work,
- 3:59Speaker 2: and then number of other things were going to start
- 4:01Speaker 2: happening at the end of the pandemic, and we didn't
- 4:03Speaker 2: want all these dogs to end up in shelters. But
- 4:05Speaker 2: the primary emphasis is still how to raise a healthy,
- 4:08Speaker 2: happy puppy that's well socialized. So about half of it
- 4:11Speaker 2: is on behavior and socialization and great training and all
- 4:15Speaker 2: those things, and about the other half is on medical
- 4:17Speaker 2: stuff because there's a lot of changes that not all
- 4:20Speaker 2: veterinaries have embraced. There are changes about vaccine protocols, which
- 4:23Speaker 2: started being talked about in two thousand, the year two thousand,
- 4:27Speaker 2: so it's spend twenty six years, but there's still veterinarians
- 4:29Speaker 2: who are doing every vaccination annually, which I would disagree with,
- 4:33Speaker 2: as well as the University of Wisconsin and Minology Department,
- 4:36Speaker 2: they would disagree with it. There's changes to spay neuter recommendations.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The later you can spay or newter the better, especially
- 4:42Speaker 2: for the larger breeds of pets. The alternative to that
- 4:45Speaker 2: would be a vazectomy for the boys in an over
- 4:47Speaker 2: experienced space for the girls, so if you want to
- 4:49Speaker 2: keep them hormonally intact, we have that as an option
- 4:52Speaker 2: at the clinics here in sum Prairie and Marshalls, So
- 4:55Speaker 2: we have options for people that may not being offered
- 4:57Speaker 2: to you for other places. It's more I think suitable
- 5:02Speaker 2: hormonally for them to keep their hormones. We see less
- 5:05Speaker 2: of four kinds of cancer and female dogs, and less
- 5:08Speaker 2: of five kinds of cancer and male dogs if they
- 5:11Speaker 2: keep their hormones for a longer period of time. So
- 5:13Speaker 2: if you're waivering on when to spay and neuter, please
- 5:16Speaker 2: make an appointment. Come in talk to one of my doctors,
- 5:19Speaker 2: go through the protocol. We've got all kinds of information
- 5:21Speaker 2: on our website at vet in our village called the
- 5:23Speaker 2: Spain neuter Controversy. If you google that you can find
- 5:26Speaker 2: a number of links to articles written by people who
- 5:28Speaker 2: really understand the research behind this and can explain it
- 5:31Speaker 2: really well. So I think it's important that you don't
- 5:34Speaker 2: just say, oh, well she's six months old, it's time
- 5:36Speaker 2: to spare. No, you have a lot of.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Options, And that ties in nicely with our conversation this
- 5:41Speaker 1: week about different choices. And I think the mistake that
- 5:44Speaker 1: as pet people we often will make is we love
- 5:47Speaker 1: our vet, we respect our vet, we trust their judgment,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and sometimes we hold back on asking some really important
- 5:54Speaker 1: and sometimes difficult questions as well. And I think one
- 5:57Speaker 1: of those. We talked this morning with doctor Marty Greer.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Check out Veterinary Online, checkout vet dot com. One of
- 6:03Speaker 1: the things that people need to do and digest is
- 6:07Speaker 1: is kind of what to do with that information, whether
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's whether it's a treatment plan or a diagnosis before
- 6:13Speaker 1: that treatment plan, really really kind of being able to
- 6:18Speaker 1: and I think one of the great gifts you mentioned
- 6:20Speaker 1: earlier about you, and then of course the great staff
- 6:22Speaker 1: you have, is the ability to really talk with with
- 6:25Speaker 1: pet people about their options and also speak on a
- 6:29Speaker 1: level that's understandable and relatable and really connects with people.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But that is an important thing to say, Okay, I've
- 6:36Speaker 1: got this information, maybe I've got this diagnosis or whatever.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Now what That's an important question asked, isn't it?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Doctor? Absolutely, because those are always the question is Okay,
- 6:46Speaker 2: what is going on with my pet? And the answer
- 6:48Speaker 2: is really important. But if, for instance, if I say
- 6:51Speaker 2: to someone, Okay, I think your dog potentially has a
- 6:55Speaker 2: brain tumor, and we hear this a lot from people,
- 6:56Speaker 2: even if we don't really think that there's a brain tumor,
- 7:00Speaker 2: a lot of veterinarians they'll show that diagnosis out there
- 7:02Speaker 2: and I'll say to them, so, if it is a
- 7:03Speaker 2: brain tumor, would you take your dog to surgery? So
- 7:07Speaker 2: if you're not going to take the dog to surgery,
- 7:08Speaker 2: what is the point of seeing a neurologists and scheduling
- 7:10Speaker 2: an MRI or a sea chief scan for advanced imaging.
- 7:13Speaker 2: If that's not an option, that head is fifteen, You're
- 7:15Speaker 2: not going to do anything. Let's manage it medically. Let's
- 7:18Speaker 2: give you the best quality of life we can for
- 7:20Speaker 2: the longest period of time that we can. But if
- 7:22Speaker 2: surgery is not an option, then the additional imaging doesn't
- 7:24Speaker 2: make sense. The same with respiratory distress. If they come
- 7:27Speaker 2: in and there's severe respiratory distress, we can usually tell
- 7:31Speaker 2: if it's the heart or the lungs or the chest
- 7:33Speaker 2: fairly quickly and then say to them, Okay, there's no
- 7:37Speaker 2: good reason to have two liters of fluid in your chest.
- 7:41Speaker 2: It's always bad, doesn't mat if your cat doesn't mat
- 7:43Speaker 2: if your dog, it's always bad. Do you want to
- 7:45Speaker 2: pursue this? And so for the clients that do, absolutely positively,
- 7:49Speaker 2: we will support it. We'll do all the things we
- 7:51Speaker 2: need to, We'll get you taking care of it our place.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We'll get you referred to someplace. If it's more advanced
- 7:55Speaker 2: than what we can do, that's perfect. If you say
- 7:58Speaker 2: to me, you know, what been a good run. I
- 8:00Speaker 2: don't think I want to go any further. That's okay,
- 8:03Speaker 2: there's nothing wrong with that. And it may be a
- 8:05Speaker 2: financial decision. That may be an emotional decision, it may
- 8:09Speaker 2: be a lifestyle decision, and those are all absolutely perfectly
- 8:12Speaker 2: reasonable things to make decisions on. But it's not about
- 8:15Speaker 2: just your pest quality of life, but it's your quality
- 8:17Speaker 2: of life with that pet as well. So if you
- 8:20Speaker 2: get to the point that taking care of them is
- 8:22Speaker 2: more of a burden than you can bear, and it happens,
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's you know, lifestyle changes as you age, as things change.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Then you know, you may have kids that you didn't
- 8:31Speaker 2: have before, you may have grandparents to take care of
- 8:33Speaker 2: you didn't have before. You may have health issues yourself
- 8:35Speaker 2: or a spouse. It's okay to say, you know, it's
- 8:38Speaker 2: just time and we're going to support that, but I
- 8:41Speaker 2: think you need to have those options given to you
- 8:44Speaker 2: and really have the conversation of Okay, so once we
- 8:47Speaker 2: get this diagnosis, what do we do with it? Because
- 8:49Speaker 2: that does make a big difference in whether we're spending
- 8:52Speaker 2: several thousand dollars on diagnostics?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Does cost I know the answer this, I'm asking cost
- 8:58Speaker 1: play into this equation as well at this point.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely, absolutely For a lot of people it does.
- 9:05Speaker 2: But that's not the only decision that people make. It's
- 9:08Speaker 2: not always just about cost. It can be about a
- 9:10Speaker 2: lot of other aspects of the decisions. So that's where
- 9:13Speaker 2: it comes down to the bottom line. If what is
- 9:16Speaker 2: important to you, what is important to your family, what
- 9:18Speaker 2: can you swing, what can't you swing, and what makes sense?
- 9:21Speaker 2: So I just think that it's important that you have
- 9:24Speaker 2: these really honest conversations and that your veterinarian is honest
- 9:27Speaker 2: back with you. And if you feel like you're not
- 9:29Speaker 2: getting that, then you need you need to find a
- 9:33Speaker 2: second opinion. It's absolutely okay to go to a specialist,
- 9:36Speaker 2: to go to another practice to get a second opinion
- 9:39Speaker 2: on something, and just make sure that all the decisions
- 9:41Speaker 2: you're making are the right ones for you and your family,
- 9:44Speaker 2: because it is a big deal to have to deal
- 9:48Speaker 2: with this.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Is there something we've said as we talked this morning
- 9:50Speaker 1: with doctor Mardy Greer of Checkout Veterinary Online Checkout vet

- 10:18Speaker 1: Not only is the clinic itself convenient, the location is
- 10:22Speaker 1: convenient as well. Right in sun Prairie Prairie Lakes drive

- 10:37Speaker 1: That's six SOH eight three one eight sixty seven hundred
- 10:39Speaker 1: and doctor. As we talk about this stuff we have
- 10:41Speaker 1: to talk about like establishing care with a vet, it
- 10:43Speaker 1: also feels like it's important early on to to not
- 10:48Speaker 1: only so your pet gets your your pet gets know
- 10:50Speaker 1: your vet your vet gets know your pet. But also
- 10:52Speaker 1: when it's it's not a stressful situation where we're talking
- 10:55Speaker 1: about life or death, steps and other things like that,
- 10:58Speaker 1: just to kind of have a a relationship developed there
- 11:02Speaker 1: that sometimes I think we think of, like you know,
- 11:04Speaker 1: some of those those initial appointments is really just like
- 11:06Speaker 1: well let's get kind of the baseline, let's get away,
- 11:08Speaker 1: let's get a check out to teeth, all these other things.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's also really about establishing a relationship between the pet
- 11:15Speaker 1: parent and the veterinarian as well, isn't it absolutely?
- 11:19Speaker 2: I mean that's a really important part of it is
- 11:21Speaker 2: is this someone that you feel comfortable with? Can you
- 11:24Speaker 2: be honest with them? Are they honest with you? Do
- 11:25Speaker 2: you feel like this is the communication that you that
- 11:29Speaker 2: you like to work with? For instance, in Lamira, I
- 11:31Speaker 2: have eight doctors. I have one that said very few
- 11:34Speaker 2: words for the first three visits, but once the client
- 11:36Speaker 2: gets to know him and he gets to know them,
- 11:39Speaker 2: they adore him because he is really intense and really
- 11:42Speaker 2: researchers things. I have another doctor that we can't get
- 11:45Speaker 2: rid of, the examiner. She's like that hook. You had
- 11:47Speaker 2: to pull her off the stage because she would be
- 11:49Speaker 2: in there for the next forty five minutes, giving this
- 11:51Speaker 2: long talk about everything she knew and that might be
- 11:54Speaker 2: too much for certain people. That certain people are just
- 11:56Speaker 2: like just a fact manage in fact. So it depends
- 11:59Speaker 2: on your style. And we have all those different options
- 12:02Speaker 2: in the Liral. We have those in sun Prairie and
- 12:04Speaker 2: in Marshall. So if you don't click with the first doctor,
- 12:07Speaker 2: that's okay, that doesn't mean you don't click with us.
- 12:09Speaker 2: If we offer the services and the hours that work
- 12:11Speaker 2: for you, then we'll just assign you to a different doctor.
- 12:15Speaker 2: You can request a different doctor as long as they're available. Great.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Now it's the only doctor on is the doctor that's
- 12:20Speaker 2: on that day. You have to make a decision. But
- 12:22Speaker 2: in general, the philosophy of how we practice is pretty
- 12:26Speaker 2: much the same. And one of those philosophies is we
- 12:29Speaker 2: promise to set up a pet care plan for you
- 12:32Speaker 2: with you and your resources in mind. And that's really
- 12:34Speaker 2: important for me to say. If you have limited resources,
- 12:38Speaker 2: whether it's time or money or whatever it happens to be,
- 12:42Speaker 2: you just have to tell us what your restrictions are,
- 12:45Speaker 2: what your expectations are, what's important to you, and we
- 12:47Speaker 2: will then mold what you need to do in almost
- 12:50Speaker 2: every case. Now there are a few cases, and I
- 12:52Speaker 2: was thinking about this while I was driving. What are
- 12:55Speaker 2: the questions that you're going to talk about today? And
- 12:57Speaker 2: if it's something like respiratory distress or augur cat that
- 13:00Speaker 2: can't urinate, then our options are pretty limited because you
- 13:03Speaker 2: have to make decisions fairly quickly on what can be
- 13:06Speaker 2: done and what we need to do to stabilize that
- 13:08Speaker 2: pet and to make them comfortable and make good decisions.
- 13:11Speaker 2: But most of the time you have other options. You
- 13:14Speaker 2: can say, Okay, well let's start with this. Let's start
- 13:16Speaker 2: with the blood work, and let's start with an XT ray,
- 13:18Speaker 2: see what we find, see how they respond to medication.
- 13:20Speaker 2: If that doesn't do what we want, then we go
- 13:21Speaker 2: to the next step. In the next step, And it's
- 13:23Speaker 2: perfectly fine lay all that out so that we have
- 13:27Speaker 2: the information in front of you and you can make
- 13:29Speaker 2: steplized decisions. And if you feel like there's a different
- 13:32Speaker 2: doctor that you want to talk to, then absolutely for sure,
- 13:35Speaker 2: if you want to referral, we'll make sure that that happens.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And I've been around long enough to know where the
- 13:40Speaker 2: best places are for the person or the pet or
- 13:43Speaker 2: their needs so that I can kind of tailor where
- 13:45Speaker 2: I send you. There are certain doctors that I will
- 13:47Speaker 2: refer to based on what the client needs are and
- 13:50Speaker 2: the pet needs are, so it doesn't just mean one
- 13:53Speaker 2: size fits all, and I think that's really important for
- 13:55Speaker 2: our clients to know. Is a lot of times these
- 13:59Speaker 2: corporate owned businesses have protocols and they are required to
- 14:02Speaker 2: do certain things certain ways. But in our practice, because
- 14:05Speaker 2: our family owned and because I trust my doctors to
- 14:07Speaker 2: make good decisions, I can really geal comfortable in saying, Okay,
- 14:12Speaker 2: this is what's going on, and if they're not sure,
- 14:14Speaker 2: don't give me a caller, send me a text and
- 14:16Speaker 2: say hey, this is what's happening. What do you think?
- 14:18Speaker 2: And I will give them some feedback. So it's been
- 14:21Speaker 2: fun to be able to do that because collectively there's
- 14:23Speaker 2: about fourteen doctors that we all work together really well,
- 14:26Speaker 2: and people that don't know in modern vet care and
- 14:30Speaker 2: pet care, that's.
- 14:31Speaker 1: A really big deal of being that being locally owned.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I don't and I know we've touched on it on
- 14:37Speaker 1: previous shows, but it has really become a big thing
- 14:41Speaker 1: and having the option and the flexibility to for your
- 14:45Speaker 1: your vet to really take care of your pet the
- 14:48Speaker 1: way that you and your vet feel is the best
- 14:50Speaker 1: option is a really important thing. As we talked this
- 14:53Speaker 1: morning with doctor Greer, speaking of important things, it's a
- 14:55Speaker 1: great day been looking to start a new relationship with
- 14:58Speaker 1: a vet. It's a great day to start that kind
- 15:00Speaker 1: conversation at checkout vet, make that appointment online, checkout vet
- 15:03Speaker 1: dot com. That's checkout vet dot com. Telph number six
- 15:06Speaker 1: eight three one eight sixty seven hundred. That's six eight
- 15:09Speaker 1: three one eight sixty seven hundred and doctor. A lot
- 15:12Speaker 1: of things in life, most things in life, there is
- 15:15Speaker 1: there is a trade off, there is there are benefits
- 15:18Speaker 1: and of course there are sacrifices that need to be
- 15:20Speaker 1: made in some drawbacks and that's a part of that.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That's kind of part of these these conversations and putting
- 15:25Speaker 1: that plan together as well is having a vet, having
- 15:28Speaker 1: a doctor that can that can give you as you
- 15:31Speaker 1: make those decisions, a real clear understanding of what the
- 15:34Speaker 1: benefits are and what drawbacks may be for each option,
- 15:37Speaker 1: isn't it Absolutely?
- 15:40Speaker 2: So that's where that really honest conversation has to make place.
- 15:43Speaker 2: And if you just feel uncomfortable with what's happening. Then
- 15:47Speaker 2: go home and read some materials that read the materials
- 15:49Speaker 2: or vetter and right suggest, so don't go off the rails,
- 15:52Speaker 2: don't go to Facebook. So then latest support group for
- 15:55Speaker 2: whatever disease or darter a cat might have. Because they
- 15:57Speaker 2: tend not to be super helpful, there's not typically veterinary
- 16:00Speaker 2: advice involved in that, but there are often clients that
- 16:03Speaker 2: have experienced. But find out what resources, Read what veterinary
- 16:08Speaker 2: schools are saying, Read what venitor journals are saying, get
- 16:11Speaker 2: some information. Ask your venitor. Can I go home and
- 16:13Speaker 2: think about this and read some material Can you suggest
- 16:16Speaker 2: something for me to read? So I really understand this
- 16:19Speaker 2: better because most of the decisions we make don't have
- 16:22Speaker 2: to be made on the fly. Most of them can
- 16:25Speaker 2: be done with a little bit of time, maybe twelve hours,
- 16:27Speaker 2: twenty four hours. Those kinds of decisions can be made.
- 16:30Speaker 2: The same of vaccines, the same with heartworm preventives and
- 16:34Speaker 2: flee and tick preventives is it doesn't have to be
- 16:36Speaker 2: one size fits all. There should be differences in how
- 16:39Speaker 2: the pets are vaccinated based on lifestyle. If your cat
- 16:42Speaker 2: never goes outside, that's going to change vaccination protocols if
- 16:45Speaker 2: your dog goes to the dog park and doggy daycare
- 16:47Speaker 2: and boards at places, and you know, the very social butterfly,
- 16:50Speaker 2: then that's going to mean are they go hunting or
- 16:52Speaker 2: they go swimming? You know, that means they're going to
- 16:54Speaker 2: need vaccines that are different than the pet that very
- 16:56Speaker 2: seldom steps outside the yard. Now almost every job goes
- 17:00Speaker 2: outside at some point, but goes outside the yard is
- 17:02Speaker 2: the question. So these are the things that you need
- 17:04Speaker 2: to tailor with. What your veterinarian is saying is this
- 17:08Speaker 2: is my lifestyle, this is my pet's lifestyle, this is
- 17:10Speaker 2: my budget, This is what I want you to know
- 17:12Speaker 2: about me, And so be really straightforward and honest, and
- 17:14Speaker 2: you're we're not going to be judging you. They're not
- 17:17Speaker 2: going to be My staff is not going to be
- 17:18Speaker 2: judging you based on the decisions that you make, rather
- 17:21Speaker 2: supporting you to say, this is what I think is
- 17:24Speaker 2: the best place for you to go, the best way
- 17:26Speaker 2: for us to approach this situation, the best next test
- 17:29Speaker 2: von whether it's an X ray and ultrasound, blood work.
- 17:32Speaker 2: You know, there's a whole lot of options out there,
- 17:33Speaker 2: and we can go as far or as short a
- 17:36Speaker 2: distance as you wish based on what your expectations and
- 17:40Speaker 2: your needs are. So you know, and I really think
- 17:43Speaker 2: my doctors do a very good job of being straightforward
- 17:46Speaker 2: and honest with people and giving you an idea what
- 17:48Speaker 2: cost is, what does the future look like? But if
- 17:50Speaker 2: they if they don't, you know, if they're hesitant to
- 17:52Speaker 2: say something, then just go forward. A lot of clients
- 17:55Speaker 2: will be afraid to say the word like cancer. Do
- 17:58Speaker 2: you think this is cancer? And I've had clients whole
- 18:00Speaker 2: that I finally said, okay, what is your hesitation? And
- 18:02Speaker 2: they'll tell me and I'm like, oh my gosh, that's
- 18:05Speaker 2: never even been on my radar. I don't even think
- 18:07Speaker 2: that's a possible diagnosis for you. Let's figure out what's
- 18:10Speaker 2: happening here. So I think that it's really a good
- 18:13Speaker 2: idea to be able to have those honest conversations and
- 18:16Speaker 2: to get to know the veterinary clinics, so you know,
- 18:18Speaker 2: come in visit with us. You have that first visit
- 18:20Speaker 2: free for a wellness visit, to come in, get to
- 18:22Speaker 2: know our docs, see what works for you. If the
- 18:24Speaker 2: drive through is better for you, if the regular clinic
- 18:27Speaker 2: is better, because everybody has their own style, I mean
- 18:29Speaker 2: the drive through, the convenience of the drive through is amazing,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and we have a lot of clients that are there
- 18:34Speaker 2: that are getting the one year injectable Vecto product for
- 18:38Speaker 2: free and tick prevention convenience is important to them, so
- 18:41Speaker 2: that convenience of that injection is super great for them.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So I think those are the things that you have
- 18:47Speaker 2: to say. Is I'm retired and i have more time
- 18:50Speaker 2: than money, or I'm working, I've got three kids, I'm
- 18:52Speaker 2: running to soccer, I'm running to the piano, I'm running
- 18:54Speaker 2: all these things. I don't have time to deal with this.
- 18:57Speaker 2: That's okay. Just let us know what you need. Whether
- 19:00Speaker 2: it's an easier way to give allergy medication with an
- 19:03Speaker 2: injection instead of a daily pill, whether it's an injection
- 19:07Speaker 2: for arthritis because your pet is going to benefit from that,
- 19:10Speaker 2: or combine that with pills. We have all kinds of
- 19:12Speaker 2: options for you, But just tell us what you see,
- 19:15Speaker 2: what you need, and then tell us how the response
- 19:17Speaker 2: has been. Okay, she's way better, or she's really not
- 19:20Speaker 2: a lot better. What's our next step. So we have
- 19:22Speaker 2: lots of tools on our toolbox and we can keep
- 19:24Speaker 2: pulling them out until we get to where you need
- 19:27Speaker 2: to be for your expectations and your needs.
