- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Hit on over to milehighhuddle.com to sound off on all things Broncos.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're welcoming everybody.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome at it.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's Tuesday evening.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's time for an episode of...
- 0:23[SPEAKER_02]: Building the Broncos, I am Nick Kendall doing by Carl Dumbler once again, Carl.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: Man, this, I'm wearing a weird spot here.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_02]: You and I are not used to covering this team being good.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: And right now, it's not only like, we're gonna talk a little bit of playoff picture and everything today, but it's like, what's scenarios do we have to watch to like, see how they can get in?
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Who do we need to be pulling against?
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what are the tie breakers?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's totally gonna matter, but we're talking about that for.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: the number one overall seed in the AFC, not Denver squeaking in to the playoffs.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: What a, what a journey it's been.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say, oh, man, we've gone through the desert.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know blah, blah, blah, because in the background here, and if Broncos had gone through a desert, then I don't know if Falcons fans have gone through.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: But regardless, it's been a long time, and we're obviously not on the mountain top, but we reached a mountain pass in the very least.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: beating the chiefs nine and two on the by week.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just happy as hell to be here.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: Right now I'm going to be honest.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just happy to be here.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: How are you doing, Carl?
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm great.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, my dad stopped by my office earlier and he was in orange.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: I was I'm wearing orange today and I'm like, yep, I've worn orange every single day.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know it's a little mid two days, but I live in chiefs kingdom or whatever you want to call it.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I had a lot of people talking to Crap to me all week.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so I've been able to walk around town, big smile on my face, and definitely some people that are very upset.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: My dad wore a Broncos shirt to his breakfast group.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: And they about kicked him out because they were so angry.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, it's one of those, there's sort of losers.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: Chiefs haven't lost a lot lately.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's something I don't want to feel like programs are.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like if Alabama loses a game, fire everybody, that kind of thing.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: I even saw some people like Andrew Reed's got to go.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Spectals got to go.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know all those kind of things and and I'm just like man you guys have been living in a dream world for way too long.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: You got to understand that this is the abs and flows of football.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be times where you're up, and other times you're down, and talking about up.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: We got popular bear coming in, saying good evening, Broncos Country, hashtag 13 and 4.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: David, you are looking like a profit more and more every single week that the Broncos continue to win.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: Especially when they were one and two, and you were still like 13 and four,
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I know Nick and I were like, uh, I would, I would have gone through the odds and, uh, you would have taken me to clean her.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: So shout out to you, Papa Bear, shout out to you regardless, but, uh, keep in the faith.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be on a side and see this coming this season like a lot of questions.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: So I thought the defense would be good.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: I expected some sacrogression, that doesn't seem to be happening.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Still question marks about bonus.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: I expected maybe injuries offensive line up.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you to told me after the Eagles game, they're going to lose powers for a while, my gut.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, hit the offensive line.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, what's going to happen now?
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Palchetski now.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Not a good game against the chiefs.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: What does call it as it is.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: But the shout out to coaching staff, the players.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: This is a well-run program right now.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the bottom line, from ownership, general manager coaching staff, the people they're bringing in and drafting, signing for the locker room.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's, I think I've said on this show before Carl, but like,
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's a sight to behold that it feels like everybody's pulling in the same direction, like real, actually united in orange and this team is that right now, I mean, again, I'm not typically going to glaze and the everything sunshine and rainbows all the time, but and I'm not saying this team is going to Super Bowl, like by any means, but This is this is a remarkable turnaround for this franchise and to beat the chiefs.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't even care that they're five and five like the advanced statistics say this is that's a good chief steam like they're getting bad luck right now Screw them couldn't happen to a better team, but that's that's an accomplishment for the Broncos said it said here at nine and two AFC wide open Anything could happen anything can happen from here on out.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, for sure.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's it was a very quality win no matter the record They had everything going in their favor like said that
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: The analytics will tell you that the chiefs are a top five team.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the defense is not as good as their basic stats, say, but they're offense.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of their best offenses they've had in since 2017, 2018, like points per drive, especially when rice has been back.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: So it's starting to wrap up like.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, they're, they're, they're good.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like a Denver beat them.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: It was not a fluke.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: They beat them.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: And it could have been even much worse if red zone touchdowns would have came through and a couple other things broke their way.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: But by the moss, it was, yeah, it was probably moss, not giving up 100 yards in penalties, but still.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Beyond all that.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's just such a good feeling to see this team and like I said, it's it's new territory for us.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you I have not been a humble winner, I said, I've been walking around town making sure people remember that the Broncos are on top right now and and it's just a team like said they bought in.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell even after the game like.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: much as players like to say that they shut out all the noise from media and fans and everything else.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: But then right after the game, they're like, all of you media people and talk and crap about our quarterback and Greg and Slayer 69 from.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: How do you get my handle?
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you could tell like this was personal for them that these are people that they love they they care about their teammates it's not just a paycheck it it's hey we really do were united Sean Peyton has just done a great job building this locker room George Peyton as well finding the right kind of guys to come in be real leaders and I mean even Like singleton I know we've harped on him for some of his play, but that guy's a great leader
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even seeing him on the sideline like he's sitting there trying to coach guys up and hey, they're going to try this and he's right in the middle of that.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: And here he is fighting cancer and he's like, yeah, you know what?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to keep helping my team.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: He could have told team, I'm going to take a week away.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be with my family.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a young daughter.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: Do I think too?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, nope, I'm going to be there for my team.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: And so shout out to all those guys being united like this and feel coming in.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: being united with us and good evening, Nick Carl and Deacon Scott, really get great to see how we look when all three phases play a complete game, hashtag, welcome.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, special teams.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you could say that was the best you for the Broncos all game that they've done.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: I've played, they put points on the board, they took points away from the chiefs.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, holding the homes of 19 points.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: without Patrick's or tan.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm great in on a curb bear, but like, wow.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I do agree.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but maybe it's a little bit because special teams have been so bad.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: But to see them actually be a very big positive for this team, what was such a sigh of relief.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Marvin Membs being back.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: You can tell there's a huge difference on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on,
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was a great play by him.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he got low with right through two guys used his six eight frame to raise up and and that changed it really did change the entire dynamic of the game being down three instead of four, it changes how you have to call the rest of your game.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so, big, big play for him, Krasha, had a really nice bounce back game.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Almost said that what, good thing he was blunt, punching that to the right.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: If he was punching it straight on, that would have been blocked.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: But, and then of course, let's five or five with the 50 plus yarder to tie it up.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, all those kind of things.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it was.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: It was a great team win.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: That was maybe one of the best games that we've seen from Bonyx.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: I know we've seen some four touchdown games and stuff like that.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: But there were things in this game that he hasn't done so far in his Broncos career.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: at least consistently of going through his reads, staying in the pocket, keeping his feet below him, not just, I mean, a lot of times you see his feet, it's kind of like a duck under, you know, on the surface, it kind of looks good, but his feet are just going at 1,000 miles an hour underneath the water, flippers.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it's how you feel about boat nicks, you're like, oh man, this guy is way too sped up.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: This game?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, it looked like he was very calm, cool, going through his reads, like I said, 1, 2, 3, I think it was to, you see, they're sudden or or Brian, I can't remember on, I'm like a third and eight early in the game.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it was across the middle, and it was probably his third read.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can tell, he went one, two, three.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a perfect throw, big first down, kept a drive alive.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: I said, those are things we haven't seen at least in a few weeks for sure.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: But he consistently went through reads in this one and stayed in the pocket.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I can't talk enough how big of a difference this was.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: The Raiders game might have been one of his worst ever.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: This might have been one of his best ever games.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: And there's still room for improvement.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sorry.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's coming upstairs here.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: I can think of some games that were not so that were good, but he had such a terrible defense on the other side that it's like, how do you handle the Dallas game this year, the Cincinnati game this year?
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I think two Scott pulled years, but the Falcons game last season also the Panthers game last season, like it looked like he was throwing seven on sevens
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: And in this one, there was a much more resistance from the opposing team now granted spags likes to be Let's have you a lot of cover zero a lot of man and bonus is beat man coverage a lot better.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I think I was actually thinking spags would come into this one and maybe play a little bit more zone with a
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: on that one, but overall, yeah, Nick's had a good game, and it was definitely when you're greeting against the opponent, his best game of his career so far.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: So it was really happy to see that I want to say hello to our favorite Dragon Slayer coming through here of Dragon Slayer 69 with a slurpee picture as well.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: I bless this, but Adam Chapman.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: Set them straight.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's great to see.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: Great to see.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: Did I want to say hello again?
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Phil.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for the super chat.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: If you guys want to get anything in here, say hello.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure you drop a super chat.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: We always get to those.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: We got Denver Luke in the house.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: Good afternoon.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: Good evening.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Wherever you are, God bless Jordan Lewis.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, thank you, Jordan.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: He says evening fellows.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: We got Casey Nichol coming in.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was Casey earlier that asked about the Broncos Twitter.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, so we can ask this now, Carl,
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: answer and I think it could probably be the same.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: Odo Beckham Jr.'s available now.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: He served as suspension.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's been reinstated.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: How do you feel about adding that dynamic to the locker room?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm good.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: You're good.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Broncos...
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: Here's what I'll say about their wide receiver career.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think they like them.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they love
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you've seen there was news that they had tried to get stuff on digs into the building, which questioning whether that would have been a good idea.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that fall on a part and him going to the Patriots, which I mean, he's been great for the Patriots.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: They earned it, I love.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I do wonder how he would do as a dynamic here in Denver.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then, of course, we saw at the the Trade Deadline Broncos, we're looking at some wide receivers.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: And they weren't willing to go all in like, we have to make this kind of move.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: But again, I think it shows that they like their guys, but they also see that they could have an upgrade at the position and it helped their team.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: And Odo Beckham, Jr., I don't know that he at this point in his career is an actual upgrade, outwise on the field, compared to the guys we already have in the chemistry that they have with Bonix.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: And, and these guys, they're all, they're all bought in.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I wouldn't really want to throw a wrench into that dynamic and Odo come in and be like, hey, I need my touches and, and then throw off anything good that the offense could be building right now.
- 12:51[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, ship sailed for those.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you played running back, maybe, because we might be a little desperate there, but yeah, no, it's no to help back come for me.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I would help back him.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I do actually have a little bit of an interesting, take at least, I think it is on this one.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like it so much.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly the wide receiver room that the Broncos have been interested in upgrading.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think Push-On Peyton is the father, grandfather, whatever you want to say.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: the godfather of the positionless football.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think he cares so much about wide receiver.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like if there was a bunch of tight ends available, he'd have gone after tight end.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: If the broncos dobans has already gone after running back to, but I think it's more so finding another weapon that you can utilize that's a little bit higher up in the pecking order.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think ideally if everything was equal, sorry, a troutman, dragon slayer 69 take here, but like they'd find a wide tight end, um, who could upgrade that position, but they're just
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: Those guys weren't available.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: So if there's more, there's more wide receivers available.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: We're looking to get some sort of wide receiver and you're just to add a little bit more explosiveness dynamism to the offense, the pass-off, and specifically, didn't materialize, but we'll keep an eye.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: I would, I'm expecting the Bronx sign running back this off-season.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: They'll probably also make a move at weapon.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it necessarily has to be wide receiver though.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: It could be tight end, especially with how ingrams contract is very easy to move on from after the season.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and he's barely in just a couple of games been up to 50% of snaps on an offense.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: So they're recognizing there's some limitations there of what you can do with him that when he's on the field teams get that cue of, it's probably a passplay if being rooms on the field.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: And you'd really love to have that tied in that doesn't give that key away.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Could be running, it could be passing it, get a George Kittle.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it'd be great if we would have drafted him
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'd be really set as a team looking forward.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: We got Jamal Killing's coming in saying, hello, Broncos Country, hello to you as well.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm great to see you.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm great having all of you guys here tonight and Phil saying, by the end of the season, who's going to be the number two receiver?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: I would love for it to be Pat Bryant.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: But right now, it does seem like they are leaning still towards Troy Franklin.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: His hands are not great, but he does get open.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's the big thing.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: They're doubling Portland Sutton.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So you need your number two that can get open consistently.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so far, Troy Franklin has done a pretty good job that way.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he's got to catch these passes.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know the deep past early in the game was a tough one, but that was a catchable ball.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that, that,
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe changes the whole dynamic of how you start that game.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: I know they got to feel go, which was great.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe that just takes the complete error of the chief's going, oh crap.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Now they're hitting the deep ball.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: And we don't got a chance.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, the drop later on a big third down that would have kept a drive going.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: Both of them were tough catches.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: But you're an NFL receiver.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: You should be coming down, at least with one of those.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not both, at least one.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it's
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: The way I described for my Franklin is it reminds me of the movie Happy Gilmore, where his girlfriend shows up and they're talking through the little speaker and she's breaking up with him and and at one point he's yelling good I don't want you anymore and the next moment is going I'm sorry baby because then he makes a great catch later in the game you're going OK yeah, thank you for my Franklin for making the catch and it just I wish we didn't have quite that inconsistent.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: play from him.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, I love for it to be papright because he is the more consistent receiver.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just think as a rookie, there's been a little bit of, there's been supplies where you can see he doesn't quite know what he's doing yet.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: He'll get there and I have no doubt he'll be a really productive player for us moving forward.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I think Troy Franklin knows the offense a little bit better.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: by volume, it'll be Franklin, by efficiency, it'll be Bryant.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: Coming out of the by week, though, things can change.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: Things can shake up, but they kept going back to the beginning.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: They back at it.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: He seems to be more gadget usage right now in the pecking order, but they got to figure out something out of the backfield.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe it's not necessarily running in back, but screen game, running in back, quick pass out.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: 10 personal, I don't know, but good question.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I would say probably it'll probably be Franklin just because what the data and everything that we've seen from them so far is then they're going to give Franklin opportunities.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it's very frustrating, because like you mentioned, he had that really awesome, like beating press coverage against Christian Fulton on one of those plays.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: So he just made Fulton look, I mean, laughable with this technique on that one, and he has him getting open.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: So erratic and the contested catches have not really been there.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's a slender player But you wish you had a little he just wish you didn't fight the ball so much.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: I did like on that last play though He didn't go to alligator arms or like catching it with his body He's still going out there and trying to use his hand.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: So youngest player on the team.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think as well He's talented I'm so skeptical that he'll be like a quality wide receiver too.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's probably more of a
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: high end three which you want three or four guys anyways that's not like a for a fourth round pick.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: Good hard.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's definitely an area weaponry in general is an area that Broncos on paper right now probably addressing this offseason but we need to see what happens with the the lines of skirmish first and foremost because that is the identity of the team.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: And if you guys like being 9 and 2, it'd be nice to be, you know, have tea higgins and uh, Jamar Chase, but I think I'd rather have the best trenches on both sides of the ball and keep winning football games personally.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think the the best case or that is looking at the Raiders, they can ask him gently and he has been nothing so far this year.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: Top 10 pick it running back and he's a great player.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great player, and yet because the offensive line is so bad, you can't do anything with him.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, even powers this year, right?
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: He had that one awesome game.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: He said it on here before.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you stalemate along the trenches on the lines of skirmish, then the perimeter players, they're the typebreakers.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: But if you're that bad on the offensive line of the defensive line, I don't give a flame, you know what, who you have on the outside.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to lose the football game.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, even, I mean, Geno Smith, not that I'm saying that he's a top 10 quarterback, but he was playing pretty good football till he got to the Raiders.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he fell off that much.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's just he went to such a bad situation where now he's really
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's feeling ghost behind him to take from Sam Darnell of earlier in his career when he was with the jets.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: And once you start feeling that, I mean, your clock gets sped up, your making quicker decisions than you should have.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Things are not being read right.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't play quarterback in that kind of way.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I even think a little bit of that, you're talking about the defense earlier that they deserve all the credit.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: They did a great job of hitting my homes and hitting him hard.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: like, I know I keep to leave always talked about that right before the Super was like, I'm going to go get myself a personal foul penalty so that the Panthers know we're here.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: And and I look at there was one hit early in the game on Patrick Mahomes where I think it was just and sernaud tackling from the front and Bonito came and just crunched him from behind.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: And almost got strenot hurt like he kind of was shook him up for a second.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then he stood up and was fine.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's a hit later on by Zach Allen.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: Where my home stayed on the ground for a little bit.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: I can kind of grab that as leg and was looking at the rest like you just let him hit me like that.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: And you could tell like my home was a little sped up in this game that there were some throws that he was missing that he probably doesn't usually miss or eat the pick six decision like who is he throwing that to.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: It was one of the worst decisions I've seen my homes make and a game and so I really do think it was a little bit of that of him just taking some hits that he doesn't usually take and be like, oh crap, this kind of hurts.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: I get this ball out a little bit quicker and and it just led to the Broncos having a really good game against him.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know he got a lot of yards but it just was a lot of think and dunk that's all they could do.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I want to give the Broncos credit as well, something that's so hard to do with my homes is to keep him contained in the pocket.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: And he didn't feel, I didn't feel one play where he felt dangerous outside of structure in this one.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: And the one time he did do it he threw that picked a jaconic millen.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: It was just, so I mean, shout it to them.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: They advanced Joseph's gone.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think we can all agree, probably about that.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get a coach cycle, head coaching, get this cycle, good for him.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: I know some fans have seen on Twitter like,
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: Can't we just pay him like read it in the interviews with Van Strosif, listen anybody who knows him.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: He wants that opportunity.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: He deserves the opportunity.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll see what happens with the Broncos.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_02]: These are good problems.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's the the curse of success.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think is what it's called when you are.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be picking late and people are going to raid your staff and your players.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: figured out.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's why you want a good head coach and quarterback of those stability pieces for you.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: Bronco for live good to see.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: We got Ernie Maze in the house.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: Gary neighbor is great to see a chase wellener.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: Go you chase.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_02]: Pro 16.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: We had Doug.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_02]: Even if Kansas City beats any, they still might not make the playoffs.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: We need number one seats.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Let's hope the cheese win and the Broncos went out.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: We get the one seed too.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: I.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos, I'm not sure exactly how it's going to come down actually, Carl, because if the Broncos and Colts both went out, Colts had the tiebreaker.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: They had to head, that's what matters.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: If it's a three way tie, I think it's conference record and I think the Broncos then, I could the three seed, but these teams, I don't expect any of these teams to win out at the end, but it's right now it's a three team race with the patriots who have just,
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: an unbelievably laughable schedule.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they've already had the laughable schedule, but it's continues to be had going forward.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: And then the cults who have some tough games and this chiefs indie game is gonna be, must see TV.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna see it out.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's a win-win, no matter what, one of these teams gets to lose.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: Great, I'll take the results either way.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not still lean towards, I'd rather see the chiefs lose.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: Just one, it's the chiefs.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: I wanna see them.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see them lose every game, of course.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: And seeing them at five and six and really squandering, plus the rest of their schedule doesn't look too daunting.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: They got a Charger's game, but it's at home.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: They've got the Broncos game at home.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think they've got maybe two left against the Raiders and then one against the Raiders.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's not a tough schedule.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, others and play in us.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to expect from them, week to week.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: One week, they look great against Minnesota.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: This last week against the Jags, they look like a two-wind team.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just don't trust them to be a tough game for the chiefs at this point.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, I'd rather see the chiefs lose this one.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: At that point, it really is, unless Chargers go on some crazy run pretty much the division is brought to us.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: and I'd rather for sure secure the division and then worry about the number one seed as we go through and figure out games.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, I don't expect indeed to win every single game.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: They've got a tough closing schedule.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to maybe struggle in a game or two of those.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: What's weird about all this is that the way it's setting up right now.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: The if you're talking tears of quarterbacks and the homies
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: Best record of back some football might be entering wild card spots of the last like three years.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: So you got Lamar Jackson, although if they get it, they're probably winning the division rather than a wild card because who's buying the sealers right now.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_02]: I Lord knows I'm not.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: Then you have Josh Allen.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that I think that's the Packard, the week of the Packers game, but I think you have Bill's New England.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be a huge game.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: But Josh Allen coming first round to Denver if they didn't get the one seed.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it is what it is.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of a movable force versus a stopable object with the way Broncos run game.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: One game sample size, but without Dobbins versus the Bill's run defense.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then you have, of course, my homes as well.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a weird AFC this season because your usual suspects are have flaws.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe that's just the reality of the on the highly paid quarterback and variance here to you that you're going to have in general, maybe the messaging and some of these programs getting
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, good to see.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: Albert Noppers.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Love it.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: He says, right, I'm also one of the greatest cornerbacks in the league.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of penalties against our bogus.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do not call for others.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know about the greatest.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: One of the greatest cornerbacks in the league.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: But he's definitely, I think disproportionately called against for things that
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: you could see on one out of every three passboys that you don't typically see.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like though every single thing that's like a judgment call seems to go against him.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's the gearbox effect right now.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh man, you're doing everything right, just like don't grab, like just flat hands.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: Man, what are you doing?
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I think we're close.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: Demmer is not gonna probably give up on him.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think if Stratan got in hurt and maybe you bench him to send a message, but you're like you watch them.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: Mosses in phase a lot better than Chris Abram's drain is they're not using Baron that way.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_02]: if it keeps being an issue there's probably has to be a conversation because if you're still doing the penalties I mean it's hurting the team but the process as far as like from the the feet up looks good so they're gonna stick with them I don't know about the greatest corner back in the league but rookie contract corner back to for the way the defense is playing right now it's people are focused on it because the defense doesn't have much to complain about right now
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that that was pretty much the entire offense for the chiefs was throw a deep and hope that right then mosque it's a penalty and I mean, other than the one explosive play, I think that was against Chris Abram strain, where it was a push off, that was against McMillan.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, McMillan, you're right, you're right.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: And otherwise, they really didn't have a whole lot going for them in this one.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: I guess Kelsey touched down.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, just mistack Ole Miss opportunity.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: They were gonna break through at some point anyway.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, holding that offense to 19 points, really, other than penalties, defense playing lights out.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of amazing.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: The Brock was pretty much dared them to run and then they were like, no, we're not gonna run the football.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: And they were actually running with success.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the part that you're going, I mean, Andy Reed and Sean Peyton both do this.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: that they can't stand running the ball the entire game.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's being successful, they just have to get that past game going.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's because they explosives, though I think at the end of the day, like the chief defense isn't good enough to live with the game being shortened so much to take away possessions from the homes and while Hunter's been successful,
- 28:32[SPEAKER_02]: They're one of like the most successful, least explosive, like success rate versus explosion explosive play rate rush games in like 20 years or something.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: So in like the run game, you obviously want them to be down to down successful, but like you need to be able to hit some doubles and some home runs now and again, because
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: the end of the day.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think Brian gave out shot at the Brian bill.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Like he came out with the statistic was choice of toxicity, which is your explosive plays and your turnovers.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty freaking indicative of who's going to win the football game and cheese just not not able at all to hit the explosives with the ground game.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: So I understand the dilemma of they have.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: And if they had like a top three defense, you can live that way.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: but they don't.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be my home since they had the plays drawn up.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, let's be real, my home's had a bad game.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: There were guys, the first couple drives, my homes, sometimes hit those ones.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't have it, shadows of the Broncos, shops of the fans as well.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it was the altitude, getting down a little bit more air in the ball, I don't know.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: But they just don't have any explosiveness of the run game.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: And it's why it's the one thing that makes me just, like,
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: mind blown perplexed like why wouldn't they give up a third for a brief haul, right?
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like just like totally changed the dynamic of their offensive.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Thank god they didn't, uh, but they're just, I don't know, they're so plotting with the run game that I just I kind of understand why they would go away from it.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get it to a point.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: There was just there's some plays, you know, you have a third and one,
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: And instead of just handing it off, getting the first down, moving to the next set of, you know, they decide to pass it.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: Rock was going to sack.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: And and all of a sudden, the drive is stalled.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like last game against the Raiders, where the Broncos had third and one, and they decide to run a trick play.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of just, and the run game was working.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: And there's just times where I wish.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: You just take the simple route like, hey, this is working just stick with it for at least this part.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just pick up the first down, move on to the next next set of downs and see what we can do.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say, yes, the Broncos run game was terrible, but the one place that it was really successful was on those second and third and shorts.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Archie Harvey did a really good job of picking up those those kind of place.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was actually very impressed with him on those runs.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's the down-to-down runs that he's got to figure out.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: And there was a couple of times, it was almost like he was so cut in running up between the tackles that he missed a couple of times where there was a lane to the outside that could have been explosive play.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like that there's been just times where he almost takes coaching to an extreme.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: where in the preseason he had a time where the very first game, everything was bounced outside.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so the very next game, it was everything up the middle.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I just felt like he almost took the coaching and like, hey, you've got to be able to run through the tackles.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, okay, every time this is where I'm gonna stick to.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: And there's just gotta be that ability to understand.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we need you to get north and south sometimes, but we brought to him because you weren't explosive player and we need you to be you.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm hoping he can figure it out.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's ever going to be perfect or great, where he's going to be in every down, running back for you.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: But I think he can get to a more consistent level.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Broncos need it.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: If he doesn't get there, we're not going to the Super Bowl.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: You have to have at least have a little bit of a run game thread.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: When you're defensive, when you're defensive line is this good, and you have Sean Payton, you have a chance in every game.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the odds of stringing those games together,
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: The ride we've seen with the quarterback position wouldn't bet on it, Carl would not bet on it, but I won't just count them.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I've done that this season and
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: they're on a run right now.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, especially the AFC Playoff picture.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: I did run through the Playoff machine car.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like if the Broncos chiefs and Colts went out the rest of their games, Colts have the tiebreaker, Colts would get the first seed.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos, second seed and the Patriots, the third seed.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, those are your three teams right now.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Patriots do also play at the Ravens later in the season, as well, although the Ravens.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: past rush is like one of the worst in football this season uh they're like only at 15 sacks on the year so how they fall and of course soon as they trade away to the charges it gets like five sacks and three games or something but we got Daniel Berry Sports coming in here yo great to see ya um we got that Pearl coming in say hi I'm trying to get the old feedback don't know what's going on there Pearl but uh I don't know if you're talking because we're
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: vertical or something.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but hopefully you're enjoying the show.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Greg Smith in the house.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Great to see you.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: Do you got Nathan Morgan in the house?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: Go it says go Broncos.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: Ralph says his case he's still alive.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: Until they're mathematically eliminated, they're still alive.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: So they can go on a run here.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, I'm...
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy, a lot of their advanced stats, say they're a better team than last year, they just aren't getting the one score luck and that can tend to progress pretty drastically.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of like we've seen here, I think they're five and five.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: They're O-1, five and one score games.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: All their wins are big games or big wins.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: If they lose the the colds though, I mean, I don't know man, that's that's the way to type of a rope.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: They have lost the games that they needed to win.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: The teams that are in the three, four, five, or the five, six, seven spot with the bills, the Raven, or I guess they won't against the Ravens, who else did they owe Jaguars?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: The Jags, the bills, and the chargers right now.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and charred, yeah.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_02]: So they don't have those, who is another tough team.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we'll see what happens with Texans, but they have rather wild card potential team.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and so they don't have the tie breakers.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: If they had the tie breakers, you'd be like, okay, probably cheats are making the playoffs, but they're gonna have a really tough, because it's an extra game behind those teams because of those tie breakers.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: And we got Glenn Ashley coming in saying, good morning, Nick and Carl and Broncos countries shout out to special teams, crumbs blocked kick, big nuts, nuts, nuts, and cross out, making big plays and conjunction with MIMS and proof what work from X and what do you know more Bryant targets means more efficiency, all all true, I said, I love that game by Pat Bryant, I love the way that they're trying to get him a little bit more involved in the passing game on
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it was a great, really great team when you saw a lot of guys really take a step up from what they had been playing on offense at least, especially defense has been the same.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's been consistent throughout the entire year, but special teams and offense, taking that step is what won us this game.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: I knew there's a really good chance that defense was going to hold the chiefs to 19 points or less.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Vans Joseph has been able to do against Patrick Mahomes in Andy Reed for a lot of years now.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's been one of the better defensive coordinators of slowing down their offense.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: But as a matter of, did I think our offense could score and special teams help out, too, that I think that they could get to 20 plus?
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was a little worried about that.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: After you can only put up 10 against the traitors,
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: At home, yeah, that makes you a little nervous, but not nervous as David T. Come in and say, and hi, Nick Carl and Brock and his country.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: Question from my hospital bed.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: They just stuck me with an IV.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: Will they be playing Bryant Moore now that he's bowling?
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I hope everything turns out okay for you, David, whatever's going on.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: And yes.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: But for Asia, hopefully we're a little bit of a distraction while they're getting all those needles in TI.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: No, I always need a distraction when that's going on.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I do, I think they're going to try to get Brian to a little bit more involved.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's proven each week a little bit more that he can be trusted and I love Brian has been this way from from the get go coming here to Denver.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's pretty much said like I've got to I've got to do the blocking to get the rock.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember how exactly he worried at the I get a block to get the rock.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: No block.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: No block.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: No block.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: No rock.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: And and he's been that way.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like he has been huge in the run game.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: And and now he's seeing the the fruits of being able to be a part of the past game too.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: And and he's had the the most consistent hands for the Broncos.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, think of a time where he's put the ball in the ground yet.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: And he's at a knock on those pictures, but I don't think it's actually hit the turf.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I've been knocking what that doesn't change, moving forward, but and the other big thing for him is just like I said, there's plays earlier in the season.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell he wasn't always for sure exactly what he was supposed to be doing.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: And that happens for rookies.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Going from a college playbook to an NFL playbook, it's a whole new language.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it takes a long time for rookies to kind of get all that down everything they're supposed to be doing the option routes the changing of the plays at the line of skrimmage to know what exactly you're supposed to be doing all that kind of stuff and and he's getting there you can see his confidence is building by the week so I do expect a lot more staffs for him moving forward.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: I do expect more snaps.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: That said, I feel like they have an OK rotation going.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, are you taking, I guess you're taking Franklin off the field there, but he offers something that Bryant doesn't, right?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: So you want to lose the vertical elements that Franklin brings.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's been utilized a lot as the pre-snat motion guy as well.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see, I don't think the,
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: a solution is going more 10 personnel, you know, also or with four wide receivers.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, but hopefully it's just more efficient when he's out there.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: And that comes more on the quarterback in the past game in general, like when he's out there, kick advantage because he's been out there a good bit still.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, you know, finding him in the raw progression or throwing it when he's open.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, shout out to David, hope you're doing well, feeling better,
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: is okay with you health wise with what everything going on.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: So, appreciate you coming in here.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: Other than that, Carl, obviously we're going to start wrapping up here pretty soon, the playoff picture.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos haven't won the AFC West yet.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_02]: Are you at all nervous about the chargers?
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously I had that terrible game against the jags, but Denver,
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: in the last three games has not beaten Jim Harbaugh led chargers they seem to have their number Sean Peyton losing them as well.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, so are that we discounting the chargers right now because Harbaugh's beaten them pretty well, Herbert plays well again.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: Some another offensive line is dreadful, but Denver kind of has a secret Jim Harbaugh monkey on their back.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I'm not as worried just because of the three still in the AFC West, I do think that they have the hardest remaining schedule.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, their next game is against Las Vegas, so they should win that one at home, but then you've got Philadelphia coming into town.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a rough one for them with that offensive line against that deep into
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: and a Houston in there too, or Houston comes to town.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so they've got some really tough defensive lines that that's where that you've seen the struggle.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: Jacksonville this last week, they lived in that backfield.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they had some plays where it's almost taken the offensive line and back into the quarterback grab and both and tackle them to the ground on a couple of plays.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so I do think the teams like, I'm probably less worried about the charters than I am about the chiefs.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know we just beat the chiefs, but it would not shock me one bit if the chiefs went on to run and one out.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: I really would not be shocked by that.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: It also wouldn't shock me if they ended the year 9 and 8.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know what to expect in the chiefs and it's hard for me with how well they've been able to play over the years and Patrick Mahomes and what he brings the table.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like they've been losing big when they've lost.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: They've been a lot of very close games for them.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm, you're right, I might be discounting the charters just a little bit, but I just, they're not a team that makes me jump out of my chair going out crap.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're only a couple games behind us right now.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very happy that Denver gets them at home for the last game if that one matters.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, front with country will show up, be rockin' maybe I'll get a ticket.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, it might be on my son's birthday, so that probably would be frowned upon.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: But we do have a really important question from Esquire Send Toes for Super Chat I will most important Roman invention off the time I had I would just say automatically aqueducts Carl at getting move transport in water to the city.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: I know Roman roads were a big deal as well, and I think with all those you had concrete, but I would say aqueducts.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: I.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: I would go concrete, concrete, okay.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's been, it's been, it's been, you can look anywhere and everywhere and it seems like concrete, you've probably got concrete in your house right there.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've probably got concrete behind me here.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: So, I do think that's been big.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: We got David T's saying, thanks Nick, this was plan procedure.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to deposit a stint and my liver entry is jugular.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: And well, open it, it all goes well.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: Stint works well.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can be on a road to recovery, man.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: Christopher Pickens is Moss is ninth and past defended.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's awesome.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know if I could be passes defended and the attempts and everything like they don't for a lot of the basic counting stats, they don't include the penalties, which they probably should and penalties are probably worse than giving up the catch, because like the catch, the guys still have to make the play.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: If you're in good position, right, like they're not catching the 40 yard pass every time where if you do the penalty,
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: every time they're getting it.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: So like EPA does equate for those.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: So if you look at that kind of stuff, it does bring lost down.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: But he's been targeted a lot and some of it is, you know, the cost to do in business for the Broncos playing very aggressive up front and playing man coverage on the back end.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have to live with a little more penalties.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: Regardless, though, he's gonna have to clean it up.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm a big rally in Moss fan, like, go Hawks, love the kid.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_02]: I remember his true freshman game against Purdue where they just picked on him over and over again.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like, who's this trash player?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_02]: Two freshman, blue shirt with the heck?
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: No, he's decent corner back.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's a superstar, but there's definitely worse corner back, too.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: And the fact that he's been functioned is a corner back one.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: And it evens a still been this good.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_02]: Test him to him.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: Test him to the defense as a whole.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Jim Persing, go Broncos, don't forget that one already.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: Great to see.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: We got Chief's dynasty coming in here.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know about that.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know about that, but you guys aren't dead yet.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: Justin says the white shadow, brightly moss, and David T last thing we want to get into your car before we close enough.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of talking about the running back position.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: What's the pecking order going to be here going forward?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: This is a room that is concerning after one gain of granted to get the bi-week to kind of figure it out.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is the three that we saw going to be the trio of the rest of season, are they going to scoop somebody off of practice squad?
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: I know there's been some like, I don't know if their jokes are not, but I think, oh man, sorry, Mike, he says doesn't like the format here.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, Mike, can't watch on the television.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully you can do both.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: We'll take that to heart, but love you, Mike.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to have to bring in somebody else Carl, all the same, but I'm not quite sure what they're going to do with the running back position because right now, one game, but right now, not a good looking room.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm just not sure that there's anybody that you can bring in that's going to change how you feel about this room.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: And and maybe all of a sudden you're like, oh, that third round for for Breeze Hall.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'll I'll go ahead and do that.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then you've got yourself a decent all around kind of guy.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's some okay names out there.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I've seen some people be like, hey, I wonder if Sean paint can talk with avious Murray of coming out retirement.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: That that's not going to make me jump out of my chair for sure.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I I just hope that
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, maybe RJ hard, we can get a couple things figured out.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: McLaughlin, I thought he ran pretty well.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's not gonna be great by any means.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's not gonna make a whole lot of guys miss, but he's gonna run hard.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think he can be an okay number two, like the person said, I do think he'll be number two.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think, but I don't think his is what he brings to the team is gonna change.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's still gonna be that third down running back.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you go towards.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: It really is going to have to depend on RJ Harvey getting this figured out.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: Don't love it.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_02]: Don't love that one guy did like in the, uh, although I think he had some offfield issues.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: But Damian Martinez is on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad, like they've coming out of Miami.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think that dirt.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do you remember the Ernest Johnson when you ran over the Broncos and that like 2001, 2002 Browns game?
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: In Cleveland, but I've been in my game.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's out there.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's kind of a bloodline guy.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's somebody that maybe you could think to bring in Trace Herman also out there.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: He's in the same.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of a bigger back.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to find out about the Broncos Pro Scouts here, figuring out these guys bringing somebody in, going to have to be hitting the preseason tape.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's out there.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: Luckily, they have a bite week to try to figure out, I know some people have tossed out the tape, it's Murray, Jamal Williams, but I think you're probably, you're probably more likely to find value with a younger rookie contract guy on our offer practice squad than the older players.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: Especially since you have the by week.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: If it was like, you know, bringing in somebody like Tavis Murray who's worked with Sean Payton before and knows the system, or like the least some of the language, that's one thing, but they can give the by week.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm sure they're gonna be working pretty darn hard trying to figure out somebody else to bring in.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, I think Julema Goughlin is going to be the go-to guy.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_02]: Just don't think he brings enough power or tackle breaking or explosiveness element to the ground game to really complement RJ Harvey and I don't know if Harvey can do it between the tackles consistently enough.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: So obviously this team is going to go as far as bonus takes them at the end of the day.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: And if you can play it like you did against the chiefs.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: They got a shot against anybody, but can you do that consistently?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: I still wish he had a little bit more margin for air with a better rushing attack than the Broncos showed in this chiefs game one game.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how it changes.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't want to make out too much about one game sample, but it looks concerning without JK Dobbins.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: Hey.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where I wish the Broncos had done maybe a little bit different, keeping two bigger between the tackles kind of guys and then two quicker guys.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: And try to figure that out.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying you should have kept S to May, but maybe try to find something that's a little bit more of a compliment to WebJKDop and Springs where the day McLaughlin Harvey, they have a lot more overlap and what they bring to the table.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're not exactly the same runny back, but there's just more overlap there than what JK Doffins could do.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're kind of in that place now where he's had that injury history, you didn't have a great backup plan if he did get hurt and now you're stuck in this place of, oh crap, what do we do?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now I just wanted, I mean, everybody's probably saw it coming unfortunately with JK Doffins injury history, but
- 48:54[SPEAKER_02]: You never know, and it's not like that was could happen to somebody with no injury the for all so it's just is football.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, things going to happen.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_02]: You want to have you put yourself in position where you're not vulnerable, but.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_02]: Again, the salary cap and the draft and everything, it's always going to be at some spots.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: You got to figure out how to work on it.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_02]: Never going to have to overcome a uncaffinated morning.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks to Patrick here.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: Aloha, building the Broncos, good to see a Patrick, hope you're doing well out there and Hawaii.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: I am enjoying the sun here in Colorado, but I have a buddy in two buddies in Kona right now and jealous of the beautiful Hawaiian sunset pictures that keep sending me.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: Carl, any final thoughts before we got your Broncos night and two, beat up on the chiefs, shout out to Advanced Joseph, Bonix, offensive line.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, special teams, we'll see what happens.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Patriots and the Colts, as much as things change, they stay the same, right with the Steelers also in their division right now.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh,
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I wish we could have had another crack at the cults.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: We too still kind of think getting the things figured out on the program.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't know they'd be as good as they are.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: This season, being on Jones maybe turning a little bit into a pumpkin, but I wish that game was coming up rather than in that review mirror with the believe in leverage call.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just crazy to think we could be 10 in one without that stupid penalty.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was the real deal penalty.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, don't get me wrong.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: By the letter of the law, that penalty could be called.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes the other times you have all time fourth quarter come back against the giants and it kind of smooths out.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it does.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: It does.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, but no, I can't believe that this is where we're at with this team.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know we've got like Papa bear 13 and 4.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: We've got those those eternal optimists, which are great.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: Gotta have those kind of people in your life.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: And we've got Keith coming in another great guy to have around just saying, how do you building the Broncos, how do you use well, Keith?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: And, but to have us at nine and two, like you and I both would be just jumping for joy.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: And we got Cody W coming in and said, I'd say, Elliot, for running back, but that's iffy.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: Is he Q Elliot?
- 51:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guessing.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: Who we're talking about here?
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, nothing like having the big spoon cereal going crazy kind of guy coming in your locker room.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: But no, that this team's in a
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: when you're really looking at the competition that he played.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: And the offensive line didn't have their best game.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it was not a clean pocket for him to be moving around.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he stayed there, he was patient, worked through his progressions, very excited to see what he can do, moving forward for the final seven games here of the year.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just a great time for the by-week.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy that the Broncos did this without their best player.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: And you're getting him back after the buy.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting singleton back.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: Adkins should be back.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm proud they could also supposed to be back by then.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: But you're getting a few guys back.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Broncos are getting healthy.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe your standard.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe Drew Sanders.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting all these guys back.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: And the fact the Broncos are winning without them, they're just gonna take this team to a whole another level when they're on the field, help in this team moving forward for all these, the rest of this games.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: Oh man, and just kind of looking forward to your lab right before we get on.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: Colts actually do have a pretty decent schedule down the stretcher.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: They play at Kansas City this upcoming week after that Texans at Indie.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's feisty game you never know.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Then you got the Colts at the jags.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: You saw what the chargers going down in Jacksonville happened.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: You have them at the Seahawks, arguably the second best team in football, DVOA says number one, then you have the Colts Monday night football, as it stands now, 49ers at the Colts.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: a week 17, you have the Colts Jax again, and then they close out with at Houston.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a pretty tough schedule for Andy all things considered, especially if Daniel Jones starts to, you know, turn into a pumpkin again, but New England pretty easy at Cincinnati with no, no dramatic chase.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: Then you have New York Jets at New England.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see, that's a pretty good pass rush there.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_02]: Then you also have the New England Patriots where they at here.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they have week 14 by, really late by for the paths.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_02]: Bill's at Patriots week 15.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: Then you have Patriots at Ravens coming up after that.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: So two big games after the buy, lucky them, I guess, for that.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: Then at Jets 17, and then the last game, Dolphins at Patriots.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're probably going to know week 17 where things lie for these teams.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: So it's the next week's really, really do matter.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: They'd want to say a little to Keith coming in here.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: Mark L coming in from Bama.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_02]: Mark L. And yeah, a lot of fun.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: Um, nine and two, not too much to complain about Tony.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's a possible that Dobbins is back to the Super Bowl.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's what what's been put out there.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the lens.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_02]: Liz Frank injury will see.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, maybe it's a week earlier.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's not at all, right?
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's a week by week thing.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we had to think he saw a bunch of doctors to get the everything checked out.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't bank on him being back.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: That would be awesome.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's the better figure out something before like, oh my gosh, we just have to hold out until the Super Bowl.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have to win some freaking games before that happens.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_02]: That'd be awesome.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_02]: Great story, but uh,
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: long road to even get to the potential of thinking about that yet.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: And again, when I shout out to everyone, David T, hope everything is going well for you.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: with getting this figured out and just appreciate the support guys and it's going to be a great by week.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a nice thing as you get to go in on a win and and just celebrate now I get to watch the rest of the NFL and and the cold sheep's game like you said it's one of those it's it's a win win.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: Chiefs win.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we get to move up a little bit further in the the ratings or rankings and feel a little bit better in the standings where the Broncos are at.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: Chiefs lose.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it just feels good just to see my homes and all of them have have some struggles there and so other, it's just going to be a gravy right here for the next couple of weeks for us.

- 55:41[SPEAKER_02]: If we're about to down for all these games on my gosh, phoenix, blah, blah, blah, chiefs always have a number.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_02]: Nope, don't gotta worry about it.
