Latest / Sidekick's What Just Shipped / HubSpot landing pages from a prompt: Breeze and content agent | Shipped Aug 2026

- Dana (AI host): Your webinar goes live Thursday, and the landing page is still a blank template and a sticky note. Rob (AI host): HubSpot now lets you describe the page to Breeze Assistant and get a generated draft you can refine in the chat. Dana (AI host): The catch is what it costs, who can use it, and what you still have to check before it goes live. Narrator (AI voice): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped, presented by Sidekick Strategies. Narrator (AI voice): Your hosts, Rob and Dana, are AI. Narrator (AI voice): The voices are synthetic, the research is real, and humans check every claim before it reaches you. Dana (AI host): First, honesty: Rob and I are AI hosts. Dana (AI host): We don't run campaigns, and we haven't built a landing page in a real portal. Dana (AI host): What we did do is read HubSpot's guides closely. Rob (AI host): Me, I'm Rob, and today I'm playing a one-person marketing team who has heard "AI builds it for you" a few too many times. Dana (AI host): Here's what shipped. Dana (AI host): You describe your campaign goal to Breeze Assistant, it generates a landing page from your input, and you keep the conversation going to refine the page before you publish. Rob (AI host): Who actually gets it? Dana (AI host): HubSpot's help article lists Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise, plus Content Hub Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. Rob (AI host): So a Marketing Hub Starter account is out. Dana (AI host): For this one, yes. And there's setup first. Dana (AI host): A Super Admin has to turn on two switches in the AI settings: access to generative AI tools and features, and access to Breeze Assistant. Rob (AI host): What does a good request even sound like? Dana (AI host): HubSpot's own example is a marketer at a company called Sprocket Supply who needs a product launch page for small business owners. Dana (AI host): Instead of building from scratch, they describe the goal, review the generated layout, and ask for changes in the conversation. Rob (AI host): Fine. Walk me through building one. Dana (AI host): Go to Content, then Landing Pages. Dana (AI host): In the upper right, open the Create dropdown and choose Create with AI. Dana (AI host): That opens Breeze Assistant, where you type a prompt, something like a landing page for a product launch aimed at small business owners. Rob (AI host): And then it just builds? Dana (AI host): It may ask clarifying questions first: the goal of the page, the intended audience, and which template to use or which existing page to clone. Dana (AI host): You pick an answer or type one in the chat. Rob (AI host): How do I fix what I don't like? Dana (AI host): The page shows up in a preview panel. Dana (AI host): You describe the change in the chat box, press send, and the preview updates. Dana (AI host): When you're happy, click Open in page editor, and finish customizing and publishing there, the same as any page. Rob (AI host): Here's my real question. Does it publish anything on its own? Dana (AI host): No. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's content agent guide says you review and edit all drafts before publishing, because content agent doesn't publish automatically. Rob (AI host): And what does it know about us before it writes? Dana (AI host): HubSpot says content agent uses your account data, your brand voice settings, and context. Dana (AI host): So if the brand voice settings are thin, expect a thin first draft. Rob (AI host): Now the cost. Is it free? Dana (AI host): Content agent needs HubSpot Credits. Dana (AI host): It uses them each time it generates a piece of content, like a blog post, a social post, or a landing page, no matter which tool you start from. Rob (AI host): Does it matter where I start, the landing pages tool or somewhere else? Dana (AI host): Not for the bill. Dana (AI host): Content agent also works from AEO recommendations, the social tool, and Marketing Studio, and credits count the same way wherever you start. Rob (AI host): Give me an example I can show my boss. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's own example: two landing pages and one social post count as three pieces of content. Dana (AI host): The exact credit amounts are in HubSpot's Product and Services Catalog. Rob (AI host): So every regenerate is a decision, not a free click. Dana (AI host): Why it matters: a page that used to take hours of briefs and handoffs can start as a conversation, so reviewing becomes the real work. Rob (AI host): And who feels that first? Dana (AI host): Our research points to small marketing teams of one to three people running several campaigns, and growth-stage companies moving fast without adding headcount. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Hey, it's George B. Thomas from Sidekick Strategies. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Full honesty, this is my AI voice clone, made with my permission. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): An AI draft is only as good as the person who knows what a great page looks like. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Our Marketing Hub training happens live inside your own portal, with your real contacts and campaigns, in role-based sessions, and every session is recorded for your team. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): We start with an audit of how your team uses Marketing Hub today. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Find it under services at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Rob (AI host): Dana, what's still open? Dana (AI host): Two things from our write-up. Dana (AI host): It says content agent starts from your brand kit, your CRM data, and your past landing pages, and that the finished page behaves exactly like one you built by hand in campaigns, forms, and workflows. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's guide mentions account data, brand voice, and context, but we couldn't confirm the rest. Dana (AI host): And it described a free window until early September before credits kicked in. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's current guide simply says credits are required, so plan on paying from the first draft. Rob (AI host): So the brand kit and the old pages might help, we just can't promise it yet. Rob (AI host): Anything easy to miss? Dana (AI host): Permissions. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's guide to generating content says that for pages, users may need Edit and Publish permissions to edit and publish them. Dana (AI host): And data. Dana (AI host): HubSpot notes you can manage AI feature access in your AI settings and configure what data is shared, so look at that before anyone types the first prompt. Rob (AI host): So the question for my boss isn't whether it can build a page. Rob (AI host): It's how many pages a month we'll actually generate. Rob (AI host): Then here's my plan for Thursday, as the one-person team I'm playing. Rob (AI host): Step one: confirm your plan is on the list, and ask a Super Admin to switch on both AI settings. Dana (AI host): Step two: spend a few minutes on your brand voice settings before the first prompt, since that's part of what content agent reads. Rob (AI host): Step three: write one prompt with the goal, the audience, and the template you want, so the clarifying questions are quick. Dana (AI host): Step four: refine in the chat no more than a few rounds, since each new piece of content uses credits, then open the page editor and finish by hand. Rob (AI host): Step five: have someone else read the page in preview before anyone clicks publish, ideally someone who wasn't in the chat. Dana (AI host): And keep a simple count of pages generated this month, so the credit line on the bill isn't a surprise. Dana (AI host): One thing to keep: let Breeze draft the page, and let a human decide when it ships. Rob (AI host): The show notes link every source we used, and more of our research is at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Dana (AI host): We appreciate you listening today. Rob (AI host): Prompt it, then proof it. Narrator (AI voice): Sidekick's What Just Shipped is presented by Sidekick Strategies, with AI hosts Rob and Dana and AI-generated music. Narrator (AI voice): We're independent, and not affiliated with HubSpot. Find our research at Sidekick Strategies dot com.
