- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, we are back with twats flashbacks with myself,
- 0:19Speaker 2: Teddy Hellencamp and Tamora.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Judge, where the fashion is bad and slide dates everybody where.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Things happen at a rapid pace, and I'm unable to
- 0:29Speaker 4: keep up with all the people.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Dating one another. I didn't realize that was this name,
- 0:36Speaker 2: Dolph Duff. Duff.
- 0:39Speaker 4: I mean they start him out working in the insurance office,
- 0:42Speaker 4: and then all of a sudden, I realized he's Tammy
- 0:44Speaker 4: Knickerbocker's baby's daddy baby dads.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Later, well Ill said what you might not know season fourteen,
- 0:50Speaker 3: my last season, Shannon started briefly dating him.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's just I mean, he's handsome, but
- 0:57Speaker 4: like I can't even keep up, like the fact that
- 0:59Speaker 4: our right, we're just going to start at the beginning,
- 1:01Speaker 4: because it's edited together in such chaos that you're like,
- 1:08Speaker 4: what's happened?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Hold on?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Who? Oh she's leaving. I thought she was a housewife.
- 1:12Speaker 2: She's moved. She's actually packed up.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Like there's so many layers and people and they're not
- 1:18Speaker 4: ever filming together that I was like, I needed to
- 1:23Speaker 4: really like get a pad, piece of paper and take
- 1:26Speaker 4: notes on this shit.
- 1:26Speaker 3: And I can't wait to go with the taglines.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Okay, we do have to go to the taglines. First,
- 1:33Speaker 4: we have to call this. This original title of this
- 1:37Speaker 4: episode is called The house Wives Are Back.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Start Back.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Joe must try to decide between partying and slade. Meanwhile,
- 1:48Speaker 3: Gina and Matt try their best to work on their marriage.
- 1:51Speaker 3: And Tammy was a single mother struggles to raise three children.
- 1:56Speaker 3: It was big problems back then, big problems, big problems.
- 2:01Speaker 4: And you know what, I actually appreciated everybody not given
- 2:03Speaker 4: any f's and showing their worst selves on reality television,
- 2:07Speaker 4: especially kids, well not even fighting with other housewives. They're
- 2:12Speaker 4: just their own lives are so I mean, nobody had
- 2:16Speaker 4: filters back then, so every how, how quickly.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Would most of them be canceled today?
- 2:20Speaker 4: I mean even the children would be canceled, children, especially
- 2:23Speaker 4: the children, like this is a lot. Okay, we'll start
- 2:27Speaker 4: with taglines. I love that they all involve money. It's
- 2:31Speaker 4: so good, Laurie.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I was poor, I was rich, I was poor again,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and you know what, having money is easier, That's classic.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Gina. I have always wanted things I crave money.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Joe, I deserve only the best. I'm worth it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yes you are, jo VICKI, here's to not being fake.
- 3:01Speaker 2: They're putting her eyelashes on. I can't chammy. I don't
- 3:06Speaker 2: let my kids or my ex'es drive me crazy. I'm like, well,
- 3:09Speaker 2: they're driving me crazy.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, these are all sound bites from the show. That's
- 3:14Speaker 3: how we used to get our taglines. They used to
- 3:16Speaker 3: just take something we said that was crazy while filming,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and voila, you have a tagline.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I just can't believe that.
- 3:25Speaker 4: I mean, this isn't the nineteen hundreds, this is the
- 3:28Speaker 4: two thousands, and that it feels like we're like that
- 3:31Speaker 4: I'm going to but that I'm going to see you
- 3:34Speaker 4: in the next season.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Like this feels like so long ago. Do you want
- 3:38Speaker 2: to talk about fried hair? I mean in.
- 3:42Speaker 3: A tan from a tanning bed, that's me.
- 3:46Speaker 4: It's is your hair spried as much as some of
- 3:50Speaker 4: the kids, like the girls that are platinum blondes on
- 3:53Speaker 4: the show.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yes, the first two years I was on my hair
- 3:58Speaker 3: was fried and I just fed f F fred.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Well, it starts off where we realize that we are
- 4:06Speaker 4: losing a Housewife.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I've already forgotten her name. Unfortunately, Kimberly, she moved to Chicago.
- 4:14Speaker 3: She moved to Chicago because it's only three months of
- 4:16Speaker 3: sun there.
- 4:18Speaker 4: But you can tell she'd actually already moved there because
- 4:22Speaker 4: she just had to carry on luggage and all of
- 4:24Speaker 4: her kids and family were gone, and she just comes
- 4:26Speaker 4: to say goodbye to the ladies.
- 4:28Speaker 2: But that is the end. We never see her again
- 4:31Speaker 2: on the show.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Correct, We never see or hear from her ever again.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I think at one point she was asked to do
- 4:40Speaker 3: like the hundred Housewife show, a hundredths show for Orange
- 4:44Speaker 3: County like the one hundredth show, and she.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Declined, oh, she is at Lorie's wedding party in season three,
- 4:50Speaker 4: she is, I was there.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I don't remember that. But in the Housewife book by Dave.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Quinn, Kimberly wanted nothing to do with the show and
- 4:56Speaker 3: has lived a private life since. Even for the hundredth episodes,
- 4:59Speaker 3: she declined.
- 5:00Speaker 4: She's done, she's done with the show. She lived, she learned,
- 5:03Speaker 4: she got her double d's, and she was out of there.
- 5:06Speaker 2: She's out.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Well, they didn't disappoint on giving us some playboy party
- 5:13Speaker 4: content again, just like last season, which this is a sidebar.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I've just listened to Crystal Hefner's book. It's also a
- 5:22Speaker 4: must listen. It's good and she has a very soothing voice.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So it's one of those books that like you can
- 5:29Speaker 4: kind of relax to before you go to bed. But
- 5:31Speaker 4: it's kind I mean, there's definitely it's traumatic and there's
- 5:34Speaker 4: all kinds of craziness.
- 5:36Speaker 2: But you guys should download it. But AnyWho, Joe and
- 5:40Speaker 2: her friend JJ, who I like. I like JJ, yep,
- 5:42Speaker 2: I wonder if they're still friends. Joe and JJ are
- 5:45Speaker 2: going to the Playboy mansion for a party. Slate is
- 5:48Speaker 2: not concerned that Joe is going without him. Oh bullshit.
- 5:52Speaker 3: He showed up unannounced and got turned down.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yet they show him still with the Hummer driving down
- 5:59Speaker 4: to La trying to get in. Like how embarrassing. It's
- 6:03Speaker 4: all of its emberson embers. It's really imbursing. It's no
- 6:08Speaker 4: one else is awesome inbursing. I thought when they were,
- 6:13Speaker 4: when Joe was just trying on and Joe, I'm not
- 6:15Speaker 4: shading it. This is something I would do too. But
- 6:18Speaker 4: I thought when you were trying on all your different lingeries,
- 6:21Speaker 4: that you were going to remove the tags that were
- 6:24Speaker 4: not like the ones that were like poking out of
- 6:28Speaker 4: the back of your thong.
- 6:30Speaker 2: But then I saw you departing and you didn't so.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Jj you didn't even tell Joe to remove her thong
- 6:37Speaker 4: piece that her friend.
- 6:41Speaker 3: But you know, we got to see Joe naked in
- 6:43Speaker 3: the shower. I'm just gonna say, I'm just gonna I'm
- 6:47Speaker 3: just gonna say this and put out there. Joe walked
- 6:49Speaker 3: so I can run.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Joe, it was very edgy.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Back then to be filming taking a shower naked.
- 6:56Speaker 2: You know what?
- 6:57Speaker 4: She She set the tone and and a shocking turn
- 7:00Speaker 4: of events. I have been to a Playboy party and
- 7:03Speaker 4: it wasn't as a cater waiter. I actually got in
- 7:06Speaker 4: and then that they never had me back again.
- 7:09Speaker 2: So I guess was it was it that lingerie party? Yeah?
- 7:13Speaker 2: It was. It was the Midsummer Night's Dream party.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Why don't you wait in the parking garage and then
- 7:18Speaker 4: you first you have to submit a photo, then you
- 7:20Speaker 4: wait in the parking garage and if you would have
- 7:22Speaker 4: seen my lingerie outfit that I chose.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Can you please find a picture and post it?
- 7:27Speaker 4: I don't even we didn't have like cam it wasn't
- 7:29Speaker 4: like we had bones, like we had sidekicks. So like,
- 7:33Speaker 4: I don't know that I could even find a photo.
- 7:35Speaker 4: I could maybe ask my friend Kimbo if she has one,
- 7:37Speaker 4: because I had.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I didn't go to that party. I went to another
- 7:40Speaker 3: party at the Playwood Mansion, and that's where I met
- 7:44Speaker 3: Denise Richards.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Didn't you like make out or not makeout? Didn't you
- 7:49Speaker 2: hang out with.
- 7:52Speaker 4: It?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Was it Axl Rose or someone there? Or was that Shannon?
- 7:55Speaker 3: No, I did hang out with one.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It was.
- 8:00Speaker 3: It's a guy's name, the one that she dressed up as.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know, it's not Axel Rose's. Yes, Yeah, there was
- 8:08Speaker 2: a lot of different celebrities there.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Well, I did have in a shocking turn of events,
- 8:13Speaker 4: I had a celebrity makeout at the Playboy Mansion.
- 8:15Speaker 2: But unfortunately I can't remember his name, so I'm gonna
- 8:18Speaker 2: have to google the movie he was in.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Okay, this was a big early two thousands heart throb,
- 8:26Speaker 4: and I remember going in. All we did was kiss guys.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Everyone can tone down. He was definitely not married. I
- 8:31Speaker 4: still don't think he's married because I see him years
- 8:33Speaker 4: later at Equinox and No. Unfortunately, our productions team's messaging
- 8:38Speaker 4: us was a Chad Michael Murray.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It absolutely was not. He was in the movie with Drew.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Barrymore where she went back to high school and they
- 8:47Speaker 4: kept calling her Josie Grossie and he was her teacher
- 8:50Speaker 4: that she fell in love with, but she was an
- 8:52Speaker 4: adult reporter going back to high school. Michael Vartan, Michael Vartan,
- 8:57Speaker 4: no idea who that is? Well, he was quite handsome
- 9:00Speaker 4: and I it was, it was. It was pretty excited
- 9:03Speaker 4: for that kiss.
- 9:04Speaker 3: So I've never never been kissed.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Never been kissed, and I've never been kissed since at
- 9:09Speaker 4: a Playboy mansion since Michael Vartan.
- 9:12Speaker 2: So thank you, Michael Vartan for that's.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Going on with the Playboy mansion these days.
- 9:16Speaker 2: It's sold.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I know what what are they using it for?
- 9:21Speaker 2: I don't know. I have no idea.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I think it sold to like this social hite lady,
- 9:24Speaker 4: but I didn't really follow that down. But it's under
- 9:29Speaker 4: it's under renovations, so I think I don't think it ended.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I don't think things ended well with that, just like
- 9:37Speaker 4: Vicky and Don's marriage exactly.
- 9:40Speaker 3: But Joe saying that brunettes don't get in. They had
- 9:42Speaker 3: the Senate picture I'm like, please, God, I hope you
- 9:44Speaker 3: didn't send in the one with the pigtails looking like
- 9:47Speaker 3: Wednesday Atoms like you were in your confessional nose.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Weren't those braids?
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:52Speaker 2: They were braids. Oh, pigtail braids.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And little Wednesday Atoms outfits.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I absolutely, I mean, these professional looks are everything. Vicky
- 10:13Speaker 4: and Don talk about how they're having an independent marriage.
- 10:16Speaker 4: He got a new job and he travels a lot.
- 10:19Speaker 4: And then Vicky's son Michael has been working with his dad,
- 10:21Speaker 4: Michael Senior. Vicky thought it was important for Michael to
- 10:24Speaker 4: know his dad now that he's an adult. I'm not
- 10:28Speaker 4: going to say that Don travels a lot on purpose, but.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Don travels a lot on purpose. Trust me, I lived
- 10:35Speaker 3: it way back then. Oh God, Michael and Brianna look
- 10:40Speaker 3: so much like their dad.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Oh okay, so much. So give me the history.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Did Vicky and Michael get married out of high school?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, they got.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Married young in Chicago, and then they split up When
- 10:54Speaker 3: the kids are really little, she met Don, and then
- 10:57Speaker 3: Don pretty much was the father figure in their life.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Their dad, Michael wasn't really in their life, so that.
- 11:04Speaker 2: But that was interesting backstory.
- 11:06Speaker 4: I had no idea about I actually thought don was
- 11:09Speaker 4: their parents, so like the dad, So I didn't know.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I'm learning a lot, you guys, I'm.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Well, I mean you noticed that she Michael went to
- 11:19Speaker 3: Chicago and lived with his uncle his dad when he went.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and his uncle seemed like a cool guy.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He is really cool. Then Gina, I love her subtle bragging.
- 11:32Speaker 2: It's my favorite.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Gina, the ex Playboy centerfold.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Who's also in the top one percent worldwide with Remax
- 11:41Speaker 2: real estate.
- 11:42Speaker 3: You also know that she was the is you know
- 11:45Speaker 3: that famous picture?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Is it Nagel the famous picture? I don't know. Well,
- 11:50Speaker 2: she's that's that's her, that's her. Yeah, Well she said.
- 11:55Speaker 4: The average household income in CODO, So for those of
- 11:59Speaker 4: us not in the know, it's coded a CAUSO.
- 12:01Speaker 2: But if you're like in, it's just CODEA.
- 12:04Speaker 4: The average household income in Codo is one hundred and
- 12:07Speaker 4: ninety six nine and thirty nine dollars and average home
- 12:10Speaker 4: prices are one point eight.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Million anymore not anymore?
- 12:15Speaker 4: What would you say a down payment for a house
- 12:17Speaker 4: in oc is one point eight million?
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, depends on how much house, what the price is.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Well, what about the CODO houses normal Codo house, like
- 12:25Speaker 2: an average house.
- 12:27Speaker 3: You're looking at two million minimum, and then it goes on.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Up to fifty million.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it bus it's a little bit pressy. Then we
- 12:37Speaker 4: we edit right back to Joe and Slade and the
- 12:41Speaker 4: lingerie and the trust issues. Joe says they have trust
- 12:46Speaker 4: issues since everything happened with Louri. I'm like, I feel
- 12:49Speaker 4: like they may have had trust issues prior to what
- 12:53Speaker 4: happened with Louri.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Oh whoa Oh I found one with her actually in it?
- 12:57Speaker 2: Would you ever?
- 12:57Speaker 4: I mean we've talked about I feel like on other shows,
- 12:59Speaker 4: like do you I don't even know that Joe. I mean,
- 13:03Speaker 4: I don't even know that Slade and Laurie like really
- 13:05Speaker 4: dated dated.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I think that was solely to piss off Joe.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Right, say that again to piss off Joe.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I think Slade and Laurie dated solely to piss
- 13:16Speaker 4: off Joe, like make her jealous.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Probably or he was just trying to stay on the show.
- 13:25Speaker 4: But also why was he calling Laurie on the way
- 13:27Speaker 4: to the Playboy mansion to see if she was going,
- 13:30Speaker 4: like she's gonna really fake out?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Because he probably thought maybe she can get him in.
- 13:35Speaker 4: But then we come to find out that she has
- 13:38Speaker 4: a whole new house, life everything, because she's already got
- 13:41Speaker 4: a new dude. Like, of course she's not going to
- 13:43Speaker 4: answer Slade's call.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I mean, the balls for him to even call. Well,
- 13:49Speaker 2: she's like delete, And did we see a clip?
- 13:52Speaker 4: Is she's still working at the insurance company for a second,
- 13:56Speaker 4: like I saw, like we saw something Lauri.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yes, No, she has not, and probably I don't know.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Now, but I met then season two.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Was she Well, it's funny because there was. If I'm
- 14:10Speaker 3: not mistaken, I think she came out one time and
- 14:12Speaker 3: said that she never really worked there, it was just
- 14:14Speaker 3: for cameras.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But I don't know if that's true.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Well, Laurie tells us that her life has taken a
- 14:20Speaker 4: three hundred and sixty turn since her blind date with
- 14:23Speaker 4: her now boyfriend George. Laurie says this relationship has taken
- 14:26Speaker 4: a huge load off her shoulders.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Not good news, though.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Lorie's son Josh has taken a turn for the worst
- 14:32Speaker 4: and he is two hours away from oc getting treatment.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean Laurie's Richigan.
- 14:38Speaker 2: George is a good guy. Are they still together? Yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 2: they're still together?
- 14:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we saw he was there at bravocan.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I don't think I saw Laurie at Bravo.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Con Oh the first after the Big Ball or whatever
- 14:53Speaker 3: was Yeah, yeah, you weren't there. She was at the bar,
- 14:56Speaker 3: the restaurant.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so Bravos. She was at the Bravos. I didn't
- 15:00Speaker 2: see her.
- 15:01Speaker 4: But I love that she's still married because I was
- 15:04Speaker 4: hoping that wasn't just for a little baby storyline.
- 15:07Speaker 3: But now I know they've been married a long time,
- 15:09Speaker 3: and I mean her son's problems. I don't think she
- 15:13Speaker 3: ever thought that showing them on TV that they would
- 15:16Speaker 3: be as big as they are today. I don't know
- 15:18Speaker 3: where he's at, but he's had a pretty tough life.
- 15:22Speaker 2: She raises, She raises his chah.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so I you know, MY thoughts go out to
- 15:29Speaker 4: their family. I hope you know any of those kind
- 15:32Speaker 4: of struggles. It's really difficult, but I'm glad that she's
- 15:35Speaker 4: in a happy marriage and she has a support team,
- 15:37Speaker 4: and hopefully things will get better.
- 15:41Speaker 3: We already talked about this.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We already. Yeah, we're moving right over to Vicky's mom talking.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Because Vicky's mom is the whole show. Rest in peace.
- 15:48Speaker 3: She Joanna, she was Joanne was so funny, and she
- 15:52Speaker 3: used to bust Vicki's balls all the time. I mean,
- 15:57Speaker 3: look at yourn, look at your wrinkles on your face.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You need to get that.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I need a lot.
- 16:01Speaker 2: But then she's like, I don't believe in botoks. So
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'm like, you're contradicting yourself.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Wait, and her mom said she doesn't believe in botox.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 5: But then she's like, oh, I can see a wrinkle
- 16:14Speaker 5: she's But I love when Vicki thinks I'm mean to her.
- 16:19Speaker 5: If I don't agree with her, I go, oh, wow,
- 16:21Speaker 5: nothing's changed.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Join the club.
- 16:24Speaker 4: I also love that at this point in time, the
- 16:29Speaker 4: eyelashes the what those are like the fresh new thing
- 16:32Speaker 4: that everybody's getting.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I was, they're like they're big over in Europe lash extensions.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I couldn't even remember what they were called. But then
- 16:41Speaker 2: we actually get a group setting.
- 16:44Speaker 4: But this is something we already talked about to say
- 16:46Speaker 4: goodbye to Kimberly, but that I think was one of
- 16:48Speaker 4: our only group settings.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Then we get Joe and Slade going out for a
- 16:53Speaker 2: date night.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I feel like their date nights are what nightmares are
- 16:57Speaker 4: made of.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, why are they always saying they're gonna have.
- 17:02Speaker 3: We are working on trusting each other again. I'm sure
- 17:04Speaker 3: that Playbo party really helped out with the trust.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And saying that you're not coming home and you're sleeping out.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I'm sure that Slade and he was so desperate. I mean,
- 17:15Speaker 2: it's almost embarrassing, like a little bit.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Well, I also thought, like, I mean, it made it
- 17:22Speaker 4: very clear in any confessionals that she had always had
- 17:25Speaker 4: to hustle really hard financially to make ends meet, and
- 17:28Speaker 4: he's helping her.
- 17:29Speaker 2: But I mean, as her friend poignantly.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Pointed out, like you're doing all this for the financial
- 17:35Speaker 4: and you're not enjoying yourself.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Well, you know what control you?
- 17:38Speaker 3: She said before him, I had to work three jobs
- 17:41Speaker 3: and I had my own place. Well, guess what, sweetie,
- 17:43Speaker 3: if you would have married him, he would be at
- 17:45Speaker 3: home and you'd be working three jobs.
- 17:47Speaker 4: You'd still have three jobs, He'd still have three jobs.
- 17:51Speaker 4: But then he at Slade asked her if there were guys. Yes,
- 17:56Speaker 4: there are guys, rich handsome guys, and Slade says he's
- 18:02Speaker 4: worried she'll run off with some Hollywood guy.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Joe says she has a boyfriend, so she wouldn't cheat.
- 18:07Speaker 4: However, and one of the other upcoming episodes we watch,
- 18:11Speaker 4: they see a cute guy and they say, oh, he
- 18:14Speaker 4: doesn't he has a ring on, and they're like, who cares.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But I love when Slade says to her he will
- 18:20Speaker 3: always be there for her no matter what happens, and
- 18:23Speaker 3: I'm like yeah, after he brings Lori and then moves
- 18:25Speaker 3: on to the new housewife bretchin next season.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I mean, if I wanted to, if I wanted to
- 18:31Speaker 4: watch people actively hate each other as much as Joe
- 18:34Speaker 4: and Slade, I would just go back and watch this
- 18:35Speaker 4: season of Potomac again like they have. I don't even
- 18:40Speaker 4: see their chemistry. I don't see it at I think he's.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Holding on like he wants this, and she's like, dude, bro, no,
- 18:47Speaker 3: it's not happening.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean that's pretty much. Thanks.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Thanks for the free ride.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Thanks for the free ride.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I'm off I'd have I'd rather have three jobs and
- 18:55Speaker 3: date you.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Listen.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I'd rather just have anyone tell me it's a better
- 18:59Speaker 4: idea to be somewhere else, and I'm going to take that.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Because then we get to the second episode. This is
- 19:04Speaker 2: where it gets juicy.
- 19:05Speaker 4: The first episode, I was like, I feel like this
- 19:06Speaker 4: is kind of just a recap.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Definitely better than first season.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Yes, but for second episode is better than first episode
- 19:13Speaker 4: because first episode it was just housekeeping. Yeah, it was like, yes,
- 19:16Speaker 4: they were going to keep get us up to date
- 19:18Speaker 4: on what we forgot about from the season before. It's
- 19:33Speaker 4: titled be Nice to the New Girl. This air January
- 19:36Speaker 4: twenty third of two thousand and seven.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Jeez.
- 19:40Speaker 4: We also should point out that Joe was twenty six
- 19:43Speaker 4: this season, and the rest of the ladies were in
- 19:46Speaker 4: their forties slash fifties.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Yeah, she was kind of I mean, that's a jig.
- 19:51Speaker 3: She didn't really fit in.
- 19:52Speaker 2: But if you notice, there's not a lot of group stuff.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I hope.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I think this season is when we start getting into
- 19:58Speaker 3: more of the group stuff. At first, it just documenting
- 20:00Speaker 3: your family life, which I like, I like.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I like what's going on.
- 20:04Speaker 4: But I'm excited for once you come in obviously and
- 20:06Speaker 4: really stirsh it up. But the synopsis of this episode
- 20:10Speaker 4: is Joe gets acclimated to her new found financial independence.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Laurie has a fabulous time on her holiday with George.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Oh you're still married. I feel so excited. Yeah, no,
- 20:24Speaker 2: he's he's a really good guy.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Joe got a new job as a title rep. Joe says,
- 20:29Speaker 4: she finally feels like she has independence.
- 20:32Speaker 2: She says that. Slade says, Joe works for his.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Company, so he will make sure she will become very
- 20:38Speaker 4: successful his company.
- 20:40Speaker 2: That's what I'm confused by. Help me, help me.
- 20:43Speaker 3: This isn't I'm not buying that for our heart for
- 20:46Speaker 3: one second.
- 20:47Speaker 4: But I don't think working for your boyfriend's company. Let's
- 20:51Speaker 4: say that's what it is screams independent.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Well, I think it's a lie. I don't think he
- 20:58Speaker 3: ever had his own company.
- 21:00Speaker 4: And then if he did have his own company, how
- 21:03Speaker 4: come he didn't know that there was an opening in
- 21:07Speaker 4: the Beverly Hills office or the LA office or whatever
- 21:10Speaker 4: it was they talked about later on the episode. And
- 21:14Speaker 4: then this is where we get into more of Seeing
- 21:17Speaker 4: Duff when Vicky loses it about her trip not having
- 21:21Speaker 4: Wi Fi so she can't work.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Well, here's a breaking news, Vicky. Call first before you
- 21:29Speaker 3: book your cruise and see if they have Internet, instead
- 21:32Speaker 3: of be rating and being rude to the person on
- 21:35Speaker 3: the other side of the font, like what is.
- 21:37Speaker 2: That person going to do? Like you clearly, let me
- 21:40Speaker 2: get a tower.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Let me just get you an Internet tower, Wi Fi tower,
- 21:43Speaker 3: whatever it is, I'll just put it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: On the boat for you.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I mean, I could think of very few things I
- 21:48Speaker 4: want to do less than beyond stuck on a cruise
- 21:50Speaker 4: with Vicky.
- 21:51Speaker 2: But any who.
- 21:53Speaker 4: They Vicky is trying to get everything organized, from the
- 21:57Speaker 4: dog walker to the small mini van.
- 22:00Speaker 2: That who gets one of those?
- 22:03Speaker 4: I would venture to think that whoever was on the
- 22:07Speaker 4: other end of that customer service line never wanted to
- 22:10Speaker 4: talk to VICKI.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Again, I know most people don't.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Then my next question is when we get to Laurie
- 22:16Speaker 4: and her boyfriend George on their europe vacation in Santope.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Did they go film that or is that looks like it?
- 22:25Speaker 3: It looks like it was filmed, But why did they
- 22:27Speaker 3: not get the proposal?
- 22:30Speaker 4: Maybe they only went out for a couple of days
- 22:32Speaker 4: or were because I was thinking, I mean, can you
- 22:35Speaker 4: get that good of film footage from your sidekick or
- 22:38Speaker 4: your nochio?
- 22:39Speaker 3: I'm wondering, did they didn't have? When did iPhone come out?
- 22:44Speaker 4: Definitely not then, because I was taking a gander at everybody.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Two thousand and seven.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it did, because I kind of remember
- 22:50Speaker 3: getting one. I don't right in two thousand and eight.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I remember getting one listen.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I was late to that party because I never wanted
- 22:58Speaker 4: to give up my bb and my Blackberrysinger. I loved
- 23:01Speaker 4: it so much. I didn't even care about the photos.
- 23:05Speaker 4: But they're on their trips. She's buying clothes. There's no
- 23:09Speaker 4: iPhone yet because it is filmed in two thousand and six,
- 23:13Speaker 4: so that's the problem. But somebody was filming. Somebody was filming.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Joe and Slade have been invited to a charity event
- 23:21Speaker 4: in La. Joe wishes they live somewhere fast paced. They
- 23:24Speaker 4: talk about the the Orange Gates again. There's in a
- 23:30Speaker 4: shocking turn of events, there's a an intuitive or a
- 23:33Speaker 4: psychic Oh, and they did.
- 23:39Speaker 2: They decide that. Of course they're going to have a
- 23:41Speaker 2: chat about it.
- 23:42Speaker 4: And what do you think? She says, you don't even
- 23:44Speaker 4: have to watch the episode to know what she's going
- 23:47Speaker 4: to say.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Get rid of the I think she actually moved to La. Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 4: I think she just watched the first season and didn't
- 23:55Speaker 4: even have to do a reading. She was just like,
- 23:57Speaker 4: run as fast as you can way from Slade. Yes.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Then Vicky says she and don don't don't know each
- 24:08Speaker 4: other like a married couple because they're so busy. Vicky
- 24:12Speaker 4: wonders if they still like each other at the end
- 24:15Speaker 4: of the day. But then on the cruise, even though
- 24:17Speaker 4: they have six people, twelve bags plus the carry on,
- 24:20Speaker 4: the minivan arrives, chaos ensues, Vicky screaming at everyone.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Van when do you ever even bring a family band?
- 24:28Speaker 2: The big up six peop.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I mean that is an iconic line still surface today.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Do you want to hear my conspiracy theory? Yes, the
- 24:39Speaker 2: person in charge of.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Sending that mini van people no, was actually the person
- 24:46Speaker 4: on the other end of the customer for the.
- 24:51Speaker 3: C Yeah. Would you could you imagine going on a
- 24:54Speaker 3: cruise for two weeks?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Two and a half weeks? Absolutely?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Not.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Well, it's funny because she goes, we're going on a
- 24:59Speaker 3: cruise and a half weeks, and then in her confessional
- 25:02Speaker 3: she goes, we're going on a ten day cruise, like
- 25:06Speaker 3: a little exaggeration there.
- 25:07Speaker 2: She has a way about the truth.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Yeah, then we're back to George and Laurie, where money
- 25:16Speaker 4: has obviously changed everything.
- 25:18Speaker 2: That's what the narrator says. They get engaged.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I don't know that we even need to continue on
- 25:23Speaker 4: for that, because we need to get into.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Some of the additional hard hitting facts of this episode.
- 25:29Speaker 2: So we are introduced more to Tammy Knickerbocker. Is that
- 25:34Speaker 2: her name, Tammy Nickerbucker. What is the backstory?
- 25:37Speaker 4: Because they show like the dramatic gate closing, she was
- 25:40Speaker 4: married before there was an affair that happened and yeah, everything.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Tammy was married to Lou, who was much older than her,
- 25:48Speaker 3: and they had one of the biggest houses in Coder Decaza. Lou,
- 25:53Speaker 3: we will say, passes away, we find out on the show,
- 25:58Speaker 3: but she just I don't know how they lost their money.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I don't even know how he gained his money. But
- 26:05Speaker 3: her whole, her life had kind of just been a
- 26:08Speaker 3: little spirally. After all that, she moved into a house.
- 26:12Speaker 3: The house flooded, so it was just a mess.
- 26:16Speaker 4: So she moved into the house, the house blooded. So
- 26:18Speaker 4: this is the part where I was a little bit
- 26:19Speaker 4: lost because we saw her baby daddy working at the
- 26:23Speaker 4: insurance company. I didn't know he was anywhere tied to
- 26:26Speaker 4: Tammy Knickerbocker. But then we realized that Gina is actually
- 26:30Speaker 4: friends with Tammy. She's the one getting her into a
- 26:32Speaker 4: new house. Also, Vicky appeared to be flirting with Doug
- 26:39Speaker 4: Duff Duff and then Duff is there with Tammy and
- 26:46Speaker 4: their like four year old son, and they still have
- 26:50Speaker 4: sexual chemistry, friends with benefits something along that Nat.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I think they remain friends forever.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Now.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Those gates to Tammy's giant house and Coda are the
- 27:00Speaker 3: gates that they show on the intro of the show.
- 27:04Speaker 2: But is that the gates to code or that's the gates.
- 27:06Speaker 4: To that's the gates to her house, not the house
- 27:10Speaker 4: that flooded the other house.
- 27:11Speaker 3: The other house, yes, the house that she lived in
- 27:14Speaker 3: with her ex husband or yeah they were divorced.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 4: And then before we get into Tammy's birthday, we get
- 27:21Speaker 4: some real life things with Gina and her kids, which listen,
- 27:29Speaker 4: Colton said some really offensive things this episode, like things
- 27:32Speaker 4: you no longer say during that time.
- 27:35Speaker 3: The reason why he said that is because there was
- 27:38Speaker 3: a lot of rumors at the time that his brother
- 27:41Speaker 3: was gay, so he was I think he knew that
- 27:44Speaker 3: that bothered him and he just went for it.
- 27:47Speaker 2: But I can't say my heart kind of broke breaks
- 27:50Speaker 2: for Colton.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Like Colton has always been the good boy all.
- 27:55Speaker 2: He doesn't ever seem like he's other than.
- 27:57Speaker 4: In that moment when he was like extremely provoked and
- 28:00Speaker 4: like his brother just seems like such. And I know
- 28:03Speaker 4: he's a kid, but at this point, I think he's
- 28:04Speaker 4: twenty years old, so I think I'm allowed to discuss
- 28:06Speaker 4: his behavior.
- 28:08Speaker 2: She just seems like such an ass.
- 28:09Speaker 4: And even the dad, who I don't understand where the
- 28:12Speaker 4: dad's always traveling to makes a comment like listen, you know,
- 28:16Speaker 4: unless you're a pro player with you know, making tons
- 28:19Speaker 4: of money, you don't wear diamonds that big in your
- 28:21Speaker 4: ears and your interviews.
- 28:23Speaker 3: But I just it gets worse, It gets way worse.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Even the scene where the Gina's daughter is upset because
- 28:34Speaker 4: she thinks her toenail polish is ruined, and they're like,
- 28:37Speaker 4: this is a level. I mean, granted, my sister and
- 28:40Speaker 4: I got in a fight growing up and she tried
- 28:42Speaker 4: to beat my door down with a.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Pro bar, so like I know about sibling fighting, but.
- 28:49Speaker 3: My brother chastes me with an AX.
- 28:53Speaker 4: So it just funny because think about how we parent now,
- 28:57Speaker 4: Think about how we parent now.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Like Dove, I don't even know how I survived.
- 29:02Speaker 4: No, I mean, we drank out of hoses, there was
- 29:05Speaker 4: no filtered water.
- 29:07Speaker 2: We played, we played outside, We played outside, We rode
- 29:10Speaker 2: our bikes to school. We got tattoos underage. Like now,
- 29:15Speaker 2: it's like here, we pierced our own ears.
- 29:17Speaker 4: We pierced our belly buttons, and then they would get
- 29:20Speaker 4: infected and then we just keep piercing them again for
- 29:22Speaker 4: them to continuously get infected.
- 29:25Speaker 2: But know what we didn't do. We didn't date.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Dog dealers and get ginormous ass tattoos on our backs
- 29:36Speaker 4: and not show up.
- 29:38Speaker 2: To that dog breeder.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where we got Bronx. Yep, that's where we
- 29:47Speaker 3: got Bronks.
- 29:47Speaker 2: He's actually a dog breeder. I thought that was code
- 29:50Speaker 2: for like.
- 29:51Speaker 3: No, No, he was a dry He bred pit bulls.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Him and Megan bred pit bulls for a while, and
- 29:57Speaker 3: they gave one of the pit bulls to Ryan and
- 30:00Speaker 3: so Ryan had it. Had Bronx for a year or so,
- 30:04Speaker 3: and then he moved into an apartment and you can't
- 30:06Speaker 3: have pit bulls in an apartment, so Eddie took him.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Okay, So this relationship that we're seeing right now between
- 30:15Speaker 4: Megan and the dog breeder goes on for a long time.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I don't know how long, but because he's thirty six
- 30:23Speaker 2: and she's.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Howled twenty two twenty.
- 30:28Speaker 2: She was she was young.
- 30:29Speaker 4: But I'm loving Tammy. I don't know how many seasons
- 30:33Speaker 4: is she going to be on.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Two?
- 30:39Speaker 3: I think two.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I film with her one year.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Okay, so all right, so tuas but she seems pretty open.
- 30:46Speaker 4: She talks about her hardships openly. You can see that
- 30:49Speaker 4: she's bummed out that her daughters aren't even showing up
- 30:51Speaker 4: to her birthday dinner. Then they do show up and
- 30:54Speaker 4: they're you know, they need a sig. There's no sigh
- 30:58Speaker 4: on the tattoos.
- 31:00Speaker 2: There's not an ash tray when she was fifteen.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but I want to know who goes to Bangkok
- 31:11Speaker 3: to get tattoos removed.
- 31:13Speaker 4: I think they were just giving a hypothetical location that
- 31:16Speaker 4: might have a cheaper than laser way over in the
- 31:20Speaker 4: codo to cause the adjacent area.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Well, the ticket to fly to Bancock might be a
- 31:25Speaker 3: little expensive.
- 31:26Speaker 4: I'm not sure that Tammy's mom and UH was really
- 31:31Speaker 4: thinking that through.
- 31:32Speaker 3: I think I don't ever even remember Tammy's mom.
- 31:36Speaker 2: How could you forget her? I don't think that she
- 31:38Speaker 2: filmed much.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Oh well, that's a shame because then they go to
- 31:42Speaker 4: celebrate the birthday in Vegas. It's Tammy's first birthday and
- 31:47Speaker 4: twenty five years that she is single.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Megan and Roman Roman. That's Roman Roman. They go out to.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Get more tattoos. Megan got her first tattoo and she
- 31:58Speaker 4: was fifteen. I think I was even younger. Mine was
- 32:01Speaker 4: very small though, but then Megan got them at first
- 32:04Speaker 4: to upset her parents. Megan got the Iron Cross kennel logo.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oh Bronx logo.
- 32:11Speaker 4: All coming together, Tammy says she is branded now and
- 32:16Speaker 4: questions what she'll do if they break up. Tammy wants
- 32:19Speaker 4: to take Megan to get them removed. Megan tells her
- 32:21Speaker 4: to get over it.
- 32:23Speaker 3: You know, Tammy's the reason why I went by Tamar
- 32:25Speaker 3: on the show.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Cause you were you were Tammy Sue before I grew up.
- 32:31Speaker 3: When I was born, I was named Tamra Sue Wattle,
- 32:35Speaker 3: so I know, right. And then when I got the show,
- 32:38Speaker 3: Tammy was on it and they were concerned about us
- 32:41Speaker 3: having the same name. So I was like, well, you
- 32:43Speaker 3: can just call me by my birth name, Tamra.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I was gonna say, Tama feels so formal for you.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Can I start calling you Tammy now?
- 32:51Speaker 2: Yes, tam, Let's just call me tam.
- 32:53Speaker 4: Okay, I mean, I do call you Tam, but I
- 32:55Speaker 4: wouldn't mind a little bit of Tammy, like when I'm upset,
- 32:58Speaker 4: like Tammy Tammy.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Okay, let's see, maybe that should be my storyline this year.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I'm going to change my name back.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you could be like Rachel Roquel. Yes,
- 33:06Speaker 2: Oh that's what I'm doing. Yeah, because my mom still
- 33:09Speaker 2: calls me Actually.
- 33:10Speaker 4: You kind of are like Rachel Roquel because no, I'm
- 33:13Speaker 4: kind of not, because you have created a new identity
- 33:17Speaker 4: for yourself by using your original name.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Oh, I'm going to come in a softer, sweeter Tammy.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Softer sweeter. I'd like you to start calling me Tammy sooner.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Did you notice that Roman wore his sunglasses everywhere but
- 33:35Speaker 4: on his eyes.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Do you think we needed to let him know they
- 33:38Speaker 2: actually go here, they go right here.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Trendsetter is, oh no, then we get back into poor Colton.
- 33:48Speaker 4: They don't even know that he needs the right kind
- 33:50Speaker 4: of bat. Granted, I didn't know Slade had a soccer
- 33:52Speaker 4: game today, and I have eighty two frantic text messages Mom,
- 33:57Speaker 4: I forgot my cleats and my thing because you told
- 33:58Speaker 4: me there was a soccer game. To I'm like there
- 34:00Speaker 4: is a soccer game tomorrow.
- 34:02Speaker 2: She's like, there's also one today. Oh, I'm like like
- 34:04Speaker 2: right after school. Yes, I'm like, I have till three
- 34:07Speaker 2: o'clock to get it there. I don't need to have
- 34:09Speaker 2: six sacks. Just relax, acts.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I see the messaging that you're sending. I will meet
- 34:16Speaker 4: you at your game by two forty five with all
- 34:19Speaker 4: of your items. And she's like, I bill dressed. Everybody
- 34:23Speaker 4: else is wearing their uniform today.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Oh god. I checked with another.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Mom and she told me as well that there wasn't
- 34:30Speaker 4: till tomorrow. But apparently there was a rescheduled game. But anyhow,
- 34:33Speaker 4: they don't have the right back for Colton. Colton says
- 34:36Speaker 4: the pressure to play baseball in the family gets higher
- 34:38Speaker 4: and higher every year.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Then Gina drops the little ball. She says that she
- 34:43Speaker 2: thinks Colton's the most talented and you can only imagine
- 34:46Speaker 2: Shane watching that shit back. And she also said he
- 34:48Speaker 2: was the golden child. I believe you know what, He's
- 34:50Speaker 2: my golden child. After that, yes, so sweet? Do you
- 34:54Speaker 2: hear him say he.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Like stutters because he tries to talk fast because because.
- 34:58Speaker 2: His brother said me to him, Shane's mean to him.
- 35:01Speaker 4: And Also, Shane, you don't have anything else to do
- 35:05Speaker 4: but torture your brother when you're on this. I also
- 35:08Speaker 4: want to see the X rays.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Well. I want to see all the kids have grown up. Shane,
- 35:14Speaker 3: I just saw was married in the past year. He
- 35:17Speaker 3: was his brother was wrong.
- 35:20Speaker 4: But do you think that they're putting too much pressure
- 35:22Speaker 4: on Colton? And also where is the dad? Always because
- 35:24Speaker 4: he said if dad would just come back, but where Oh.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Dad passed away a couple of years ago.
- 35:32Speaker 4: But they also I didn't realize until this season that
- 35:36Speaker 4: not only did his dad did Colton and Shane's dad
- 35:39Speaker 4: play baseball, but so did the grandpa.
- 35:42Speaker 2: So there is a huge you know, there is a pressure.
- 35:47Speaker 4: But now I need to know did either of them
- 35:49Speaker 4: make it, Shane or Colton in baseball?
- 35:52Speaker 3: No, neither one did.
