- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. Okay, no this Saturday. Actually I
- 0:04Speaker 1: was he's keen to hang out with my partner, but
- 0:06Speaker 1: they just keep saying Saturdays are for the boys.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'm just drinking with my friends. It's not that big
- 0:10Speaker 2: of a deal.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a bit tricky because how am I
- 0:13Speaker 1: supposed to book any time in?
- 0:15Speaker 2: Why do you need to book anything in? Why don't
- 0:17Speaker 2: we just player by year? See when something pops up.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The way you're talking is you're fifty percent of the
- 0:22Speaker 2: person you have potential to be, and you're looking for
- 0:25Speaker 2: the other fifty percent in a girlfriend, where in reality,
- 0:28Speaker 2: a relationship is one hundred percent of a person going
- 0:30Speaker 2: to another one hundred percent.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Of a person. Yeah, one hundred percent. Wait a second,
- 0:33Speaker 1: these girls are very smart. Do they want us to
- 0:35Speaker 1: be naked?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Fact, that's such a good point, because I was looking,
- 0:38Speaker 2: I was like, I can't wear fucking socks.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I can't wear.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Relatable.
- 0:53Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Buddy,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and my partner in crime, Buddie Clark aka the Big
- 1:02Speaker 1: m Yeah that's me, maybe the Big the Big Mine.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Bigg in size that's in size, mate, that's what people say,
- 1:11Speaker 2: big in size. You are big in statue. What the
- 1:14Speaker 2: way big things did the Big MINEE? You're starting derogatory
- 1:20Speaker 2: to two weeks in a row.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's not good for our algorithm. I'm key
- 1:28Speaker 1: to be back for another episode. Yeah, a main episode.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I love recording these, Yeah, we love recording the three
- 1:37Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, we have a.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Confession, guys.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We have a full episode that we recorded earlier this
- 1:44Speaker 1: week that was supposed to be the one you guys
- 1:45Speaker 1: were hearing. But fifty seven or fifty eight minutes in,
- 1:48Speaker 1: we were literally about to do the outro and say
- 1:50Speaker 1: thanks listening, love you, blah blah blah, and our new
- 1:52Speaker 1: like tech just went like in our headphones and everything
- 1:57Speaker 1: turned off and we were like what And we went
- 1:58Speaker 1: and checked footage or corrupt.
- 2:00Speaker 2: That's what That's what we get for upgrade setups.
- 2:03Speaker 1: That's what you get if you guys are trying to
- 2:05Speaker 1: if you guys want to invest in your future, Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: don't do it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Exactly.
- 2:12Speaker 1: We were so devastated. It was a full episode. It
- 2:14Speaker 1: was a good episodees. We had like three more minutes later.
- 2:18Speaker 1: The audio, though, is all good. There's no video, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: the audio is all good. So it ends abruptly. So
- 2:24Speaker 1: what we're going to do is we're going to put
- 2:26Speaker 1: it on Patreon one of these days. We're good, Actually,
- 2:28Speaker 1: episode over there, go Patreon. Mate.
- 2:30Speaker 2: It's already worthy money as it is, but there's an
- 2:32Speaker 2: extra little perk. But today, Jake, I'm in the mood
- 2:36Speaker 2: to argue, yep with you? What are we arguing about today?
- 2:40Speaker 2: Saturdays are for the boys? Yeah, they for and against.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I actually don't know which one I want and why,
- 2:45Speaker 2: to be honest.
- 2:46Speaker 1: With you, like like I didn't, we'll see what happens.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So which one do you would you prefer to argue?
- 2:54Speaker 2: I think it'd be fun to argue for the boys.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah it wouldn't, but obviously it doesn't really matter. It funer, Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 2: maybe like logic and see whoever wins gets to make
- 3:04Speaker 2: the decision.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Okay you call it in the air. Yeah, okay, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: haven't won one yet, No you haven't, and it should
- 3:10Speaker 1: be fifty to fifty. Yeah, tales ever fails with a
- 3:13Speaker 1: big one? Heads? Oh my god? What the hell? It
- 3:17Speaker 1: bounces on the cart. It's a good flip too, what
- 3:20Speaker 1: the King's head as well, guys, I don't know if
- 3:22Speaker 1: you can see this, what do you want? I think
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna argue for against I think I want to
- 3:29Speaker 1: try and argue against Saturdays for the boys.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Sweet, So I get to be toxic.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Who do you reckon?
- 3:35Speaker 2: It's better being toxic? You were me, you did good
- 3:38Speaker 2: with like girls and guys can't be best.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I went heavy. Yeah, I went heavy into it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And you know what's funny is we we've actually had
- 3:45Speaker 1: a couple of emails about it. Yeah, we have. We have,
- 3:50Speaker 1: even though at the end of it we were fully like,
- 3:52Speaker 1: oh yeah that's how we really feel. But yeah, people
- 3:57Speaker 1: still maybe just like my arguments were so good, Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: such a good actor.
- 4:01Speaker 2: People people just like couldn't get it out of their head.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah that's what we want.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to start then, because I'm toxic. Okay,
- 4:08Speaker 1: get in the toxic mind, getting the toxic mind. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't even know. Okay, I might have chosen.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Maybe we should also pretend like we're both in relationships too, okay,
- 4:16Speaker 2: Okay get each other, you know, like you're with your
- 4:20Speaker 2: partner and I'm with mine, and like.
- 4:22Speaker 1: This is okay, And yes, that would actually help. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: that helps. I think that helps the angle.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So I'm going to be like, oh, here we go, Jake,
- 4:29Speaker 2: what are you getting up to this Saturday?
- 4:31Speaker 1: What am I? I'm arguing, Oh, you know, Okay, no
- 4:36Speaker 1: this Saturday. Actually I was, he's keen to hang out
- 4:38Speaker 1: with my partner. But they just keep saying Saturdays are
- 4:41Speaker 1: for the boys.
- 4:43Speaker 2: They are are they?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Mate? You really feel that way?
- 4:46Speaker 2: I agree, that's because that's when all the boys finish work.
- 4:50Speaker 2: We all have time off.
- 4:51Speaker 1: We've worked hard all week, mate, put in the time,
- 4:54Speaker 1: put in the effort.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's my time to relax with my friend.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just I find it's so hard to organize anything
- 4:59Speaker 1: with them though, because I can't obviously book in a
- 5:03Speaker 1: Saturday because Saturdays are for the boys, and so I
- 5:08Speaker 1: also work all week and we have to kind of
- 5:11Speaker 1: commute to see each other, and so Friday isn't very
- 5:13Speaker 1: good because he never wants to come see me on
- 5:15Speaker 1: Friday after work, after work because Saturday is coming up,
- 5:20Speaker 1: which he needs to get ready for and day drinking
- 5:22Speaker 1: apparently is a big thing. And then on Sunday always hungover.
- 5:25Speaker 1: They're always hung over, and it just really makes me
- 5:28Speaker 1: feel like they don't value me in the relationship. They
- 5:32Speaker 1: don't want to spend time with me. I just feel
- 5:34Speaker 1: I don't feel good.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That's a very very good point. So you think he's
- 5:40Speaker 2: choosing his friends over your relationship. I do so to say, and.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm scared to bring anything up because whenever I bring
- 5:46Speaker 1: something up, it's just I can't run my head around it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: So when I tell them that I can't wrap my
- 5:51Speaker 1: head around it, it's always, Oh, you're trying to control me.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You kind of do this.
- 5:54Speaker 2: And I was about to say, are you deeping this
- 5:57Speaker 2: too much? I'm just drinking with my friends. It's not
- 5:59Speaker 2: that big of a d I yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 1: But it's a bit tricky because how am I supposed
- 6:03Speaker 1: to book any time in?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Let's just why do you need to book anything in?
- 6:07Speaker 2: Why don't we just play it by year? See when
- 6:09Speaker 2: something pops up?
- 6:12Speaker 1: That's just not how life works. Go okay, because the flow.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Here's the thing is why am I? Why am I not? Like?
- 6:19Speaker 1: Why do I have to play it by year? But
- 6:22Speaker 1: for some reason, every single Saturday for the rest of
- 6:25Speaker 1: time is booked in. When you're not really playing it
- 6:28Speaker 1: by year, it's booked in for Saturdays because Saturdays are
- 6:31Speaker 1: for the boys. So technically that's a little hypocritical of
- 6:34Speaker 1: you to say, because you don't want me to book
- 6:36Speaker 1: anything in, but you're willing to book something in every
- 6:38Speaker 1: single week for fifty two weeks.
- 6:39Speaker 2: A year, eight a minute.
- 6:40Speaker 1: If we're getting technical here, Technically speaking, we haven't booked
- 6:44Speaker 1: anything here, like there's no time, there's no place. It's
- 6:48Speaker 1: just it's sort of a given that will go figure
- 6:50Speaker 1: out what we do on said Saturday.
- 6:52Speaker 2: But it's always going to be with the boys. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:54Speaker 2: that's booked in.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You have a whole entire day booked out, even play
- 6:59Speaker 1: like it might start. It's because something doesn't mean it's
- 7:02Speaker 1: not booked in.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It might be eight am one day, it might be
- 7:04Speaker 2: eight pm one the same.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I understand that, but you're just leaving out a pretty
- 7:09Speaker 1: being factor here is that it's always going to be
- 7:11Speaker 1: on that day, and that whole day is taken up
- 7:14Speaker 1: and I'd taken away from me.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I don't see why this is a problem. We sleep
- 7:17Speaker 2: next to each other every night, Yeah.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But that's sleeping. Yeah, you get on from work, all right.
- 7:24Speaker 1: He gets home from work and he's tired, and he
- 7:27Speaker 1: talks about, oh, working all day and been on my
- 7:29Speaker 1: feet all day. I didn't choose the job you did.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I didn't choose to even start dating me. If you
- 7:33Speaker 1: don't want to spend time with you don't spend time
- 7:35Speaker 1: with me, maybe I don't want to spend time. I
- 7:40Speaker 1: picked the boys, Ye, buff walking away.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Fuck, that was a good one. I was hated that
- 7:50Speaker 2: we really got into character then, didn't we I think
- 7:53Speaker 2: I was.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Really getting into like that. I was like, this is bullshit.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You can't fucking it is a Yeah, the whole Saturdays
- 8:01Speaker 1: for the My younger brother in Canada, he's man. I
- 8:05Speaker 1: think he's eighteen, and he has a he's eighteen and
- 8:11Speaker 1: grew up in Canada. Are very close like obviously same
- 8:14Speaker 1: continent continent as the Milk Boys, right, and yeah, he
- 8:20Speaker 1: has a They have.
- 8:21Speaker 2: A big influence on like how the youth are growing up.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Really over there, bro really holy fuck, Like he's not
- 8:27Speaker 1: a party boy and I don't even know if this
- 8:30Speaker 1: is like his thing. I don't think he's a real
- 8:32Speaker 1: like toxic kid, but he just has this like he
- 8:34Speaker 1: likes them and he has a big banner that they
- 8:37Speaker 1: is their merchant. It says Saturdays are for the boys,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and it hung up in his room, and I just
- 8:40Speaker 1: whenever I go to Canada, I look at it and
- 8:42Speaker 1: I just think, sure, he's going to take that down today.
- 8:45Speaker 1: To tell you what that is?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Was he repellent.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Boy? You know what? If fully is? You know what?
- 8:53Speaker 1: With the Milk Boys, it's like, so they preach all
- 8:58Speaker 1: this stuff about like, you know, being for the boys
- 9:00Speaker 1: and stuff, and I mean camaraderie great, I don't I
- 9:02Speaker 1: don't think camaraderie is bad. But so they have all
- 9:07Speaker 1: these videos of then like you know, everything's for the boys,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and like they maybe they act a bit toxic, but
- 9:11Speaker 1: they still get girls, which is what younger dudes want.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And they get these girls because maybe off camera they
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't act like this, or maybe it's because they have
- 9:20Speaker 1: a big following, or maybe it's because they have a
- 9:21Speaker 1: lot of money. I don't know. But then so they're like, oh,
- 9:25Speaker 1: we act like this and we have a fun life
- 9:28Speaker 1: and we get girls. So then these young like seventeen sixteen,
- 9:31Speaker 1: seventeen eighteen year olds are like, well, I'm gonna act
- 9:33Speaker 1: like that, but they're not gonna get like they're gonna
- 9:37Speaker 1: get a rude shock when it comes. Yeah, and push
- 9:39Speaker 1: comes to shove.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Those guys only get any sort of attraction because of
- 9:42Speaker 2: the status they've built in life, not because of like
- 9:44Speaker 2: the people they are that even they're terrible role models
- 9:47Speaker 2: for kids, they really are not good role models. The
- 9:51Speaker 2: head of Nope Boys, Kyle got done cheating when he
- 9:53Speaker 2: was in Australia. I saw that video while he was
- 9:56Speaker 2: dating someone famous or some TikToker or something.
- 9:59Speaker 1: And she, I know the girl is something to do.
- 10:03Speaker 1: She's like heavy into sports. Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I think she was a heaps like normal, like cool check. Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 2: she was dating Kyle. They were dazing head of Nokboys.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And then a video came out on TikTok where he
- 10:13Speaker 2: had his arm around a girl like it was on
- 10:15Speaker 2: her four you page, and then another one came out
- 10:17Speaker 2: and he's like, noh, fuck this and she broke up
- 10:18Speaker 2: with them.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Yeah, she finds out No, he I saw a video
- 10:21Speaker 1: of her talking about it. Yeah, he called her. Didn't
- 10:23Speaker 1: admit it, but he called her while he was still
- 10:26Speaker 1: in Australia, I think, and broke up with her. So
- 10:28Speaker 1: this video came up my for you page because she
- 10:30Speaker 1: came up and she goes imagine finding out your boyfriend's
- 10:32Speaker 1: cheating on you by scrolling on TikTok.
- 10:34Speaker 2: What a good role models fucking breaking up on the
- 10:37Speaker 2: phone too.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But to be fair, like.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I remember when I was adeen and like I didn't
- 10:42Speaker 2: have a girlfriend. I hadn't had one on that point,
- 10:44Speaker 2: like a proper one, and like some of my friends
- 10:46Speaker 2: did it.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I was like, what are you doing? Man? Yeah, you're
- 10:48Speaker 1: whip like.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Those for the boys.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, facts I saw.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I get it too, because like when I was my
- 10:52Speaker 2: naive self and disparting and being like, think of my friends.
- 10:55Speaker 1: With everything, I was like, what are you doing?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Like I just got out fun.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yeah no, I guess maybe it's a part of life
- 11:01Speaker 1: that you go through together.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I think you gotta like learn it on your own accord. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 2: definitely it is tough. But man, what's been going on
- 11:09Speaker 2: with you?
- 11:10Speaker 1: I haven't seen you much lately.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So in Jake's World, actually, well we should.
- 11:18Speaker 1: We spoke about how we wanted to do it, but
- 11:20Speaker 1: so this episode is going to be like sort of
- 11:23Speaker 1: because we did an episode called girls Girls Only that
- 11:27Speaker 1: did really well. So you did a poll on that episode,
- 11:30Speaker 1: do you guys want a boy's only episode? And it
- 11:32Speaker 1: was like ninety six percent Yes, or something. Yeah, with
- 11:34Speaker 1: all these votes, So this episode's kind of dedicated that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: That's why we did that argument. Yeah, it's Saturdays for
- 11:38Speaker 1: the boys.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Very boy orientated, boy problem boy world, the way boys
- 11:42Speaker 2: think and try and give you a bit of an insight.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah. So I think the idea I had for having
- 11:48Speaker 1: a little catch up at the start this episode is
- 11:50Speaker 1: I have a probably more of a universal problem and
- 11:55Speaker 1: I wanted to bring something that's like kind of tricky
- 11:58Speaker 1: in my life as a guy, but also at the
- 12:01Speaker 1: same time it's something that I really like about being
- 12:04Speaker 1: a guy. Okay, yeah, I'm intrigued. So Okay, I actually
- 12:10Speaker 1: spoke about this on a Passenger Princess episode. So I
- 12:15Speaker 1: spoke about I was like, oh, there's like a couple
- 12:17Speaker 1: I've got, like just a couple of things in my
- 12:19Speaker 1: life that I'm just starting to accept. It's just like, oh,
- 12:22Speaker 1: life is happening to me, you know, nearly twenty five
- 12:25Speaker 1: in like ten days or whatever. And so one of
- 12:27Speaker 1: them was that I'm struggling to I'm starting to accept
- 12:32Speaker 1: but also struggling to accept that our our friend group
- 12:36Speaker 1: is actually like falling apart a bit, you know, like
- 12:39Speaker 1: really starting to grow apart. And you just never think
- 12:42Speaker 1: it was going to happen. Like we have a tattoo. Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 1: like we have a lot of us in our group
- 12:47Speaker 1: we have we have that same tattoo. So like and
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's funny though, because like if you see one of
- 12:51Speaker 1: them at the gym, like you still talk to them
- 12:54Speaker 1: and stuff and basically what else. So what I was
- 12:57Speaker 1: talking about was how and I didn't I didn't really
- 12:59Speaker 1: I knew there weren't listen, so I didn't mind. I
- 13:01Speaker 1: didn't name any names, but I didn't mind talking about it.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I was just talking about how they wouldn't listen. Nah, Well,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I mean I just assumed they don't. Yeah, no, one
- 13:08Speaker 1: said like a half real and they also, I mean,
- 13:12Speaker 1: your friends support your show. I remember you saying that
- 13:17Speaker 1: you saw a friend of ours that's part of our
- 13:22Speaker 1: group that came into the group a little later that
- 13:24Speaker 1: we're not super close with. When you were out with
- 13:27Speaker 1: your girlfriend on New Year's Day or the second of it,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you went out for that boogie. So when you went
- 13:33Speaker 1: out and how, I don't know, maybe you could tell
- 13:37Speaker 1: it better. I just remember I was telling it in
- 13:38Speaker 1: the Passenger Princess episode of like Oh Oddie was with
- 13:42Speaker 1: a friend and he was telling the other day like, oh, like,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you know, apparently there's a couple of our friends that
- 13:46Speaker 1: just are sick of us or something. And I was like,
- 13:48Speaker 1: what sick of us? Wasn't the right word? Like maybe
- 13:51Speaker 1: like not jealous, but like spot.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Is that the right word?
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but like basically one of our friends was saying
- 13:58Speaker 1: to you about something that our friends were saying behind
- 14:01Speaker 1: our backs. And he was like, I can't tell you who.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I can't tell you who, and it was just and
- 14:05Speaker 1: it wasn't nice. And so I was talking about that
- 14:07Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, it just sucks because you
- 14:09Speaker 1: have a pretty good idea of who it is and
- 14:12Speaker 1: you would consider this person one of your best friends.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And so I was talking about it, and then at
- 14:18Speaker 1: the end of the episode, I was like, oh, maybe
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm overthinking it. Maybe I just need to reach out,
- 14:22Speaker 1: like see just I don't know, see if it's not
- 14:25Speaker 1: say anything, but just see if they even want to
- 14:27Speaker 1: hang out. And so that's I had the idea, is
- 14:30Speaker 1: that why you did that? That I've gone to golf
- 14:33Speaker 1: because I actually wanted to play golf with JJ. And
- 14:36Speaker 1: then I saw a couple of our mates at the
- 14:40Speaker 1: gym just somehow luckily saw like three mates of the
- 14:43Speaker 1: gym at the same time, and I was like, oh, well, actually,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I said, what are you doing next weekend? Me and
- 14:48Speaker 1: JJ are going to go play golf? Do you want
- 14:50Speaker 1: to come? And they were like, actually, yeah, I do.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And so I think I was semi overthinking it. I
- 14:59Speaker 1: think that the friend that said it to you wasn't lying,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but maybe made it seem worse than it is. Could be,
- 15:07Speaker 1: could be still haven't gone to golf. Yeah, And so
- 15:09Speaker 1: then here's something funny about what I like about men. Okay,
- 15:15Speaker 1: being a man. So I organized golf. Yeah right, oh yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 1: this is fucked it. I organized golf, and so I
- 15:22Speaker 1: didn't think twice better. So I organized golf and I
- 15:25Speaker 1: could only do Sunday this coming Sunday. So all the
- 15:29Speaker 1: boys originally were like, oh, yeah, cool, can do Sunday,
- 15:32Speaker 1: And then I think a couple of them couldn't. And
- 15:35Speaker 1: then a few more of them were like, oh, like yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'd prefer Saturday. And so there was a couple couldn't
- 15:43Speaker 1: do Sunday. And then so basically I wasn't checking like
- 15:47Speaker 1: our group chat because like my notifications don't come up
- 15:50Speaker 1: and so I didn't check the group chat before booking
- 15:53Speaker 1: golf for Sunday. So I called up booked an amount
- 15:56Speaker 1: of time to have like a fair few people, and
- 15:58Speaker 1: then I went to go tell everyone on our group chat,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and I noticed that they were talking about wanted to
- 16:02Speaker 1: do it on Saturday, and I was like, oh shit,
- 16:03Speaker 1: like and they weren't doing it at us. They were
- 16:06Speaker 1: not doing out a spot. They were like, oh, yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: we'll just check to see if Craige can come on Saturday,
- 16:09Speaker 1: blah blah blah. And so then I was like, oh,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I booked Sunday, and then I went and then I
- 16:14Speaker 1: sent another video going oh shit, I just checked the chats.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Didn't realize you guys wanted to go Saturday. I've booked Sunday.
- 16:19Speaker 1: If he's a key for Sunday, then all good. And
- 16:21Speaker 1: then they were all still like, nah, I prefer Saturday.
- 16:24Speaker 1: And then they still didn't know I couldn't come Saturday
- 16:26Speaker 1: at this point, and so then eventually I was like, oh,
- 16:28Speaker 1: actually can't go Saturday. And I think I didn't think
- 16:32Speaker 1: twice about it, Like I didn't feel I didn't feel hurt,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I didn't feel like they were being rude. I was like, Oh,
- 16:37Speaker 1: they just can't do Sunday or don't want to, so
- 16:40Speaker 1: they want to do Saturday. Fair enough, So I said, oh,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you guys go this week. I will just organize one
- 16:46Speaker 1: that I can come to. Yeah, And I didn't think
- 16:48Speaker 1: twice about it, and then I called the golf course
- 16:49Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, hey, I don't need as
- 16:51Speaker 1: many people. I'll keep the I'll go on my own though,
- 16:55Speaker 1: like I'll just keep one space for myself. I'll go
- 16:56Speaker 1: mine because I want to play golf anyway, I've organized it.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And so then I was on the phone last night
- 17:01Speaker 1: to Beth, and the reason I can't play Saturday is
- 17:03Speaker 1: because so I'm going to best place tonight. It's Thursday today,
- 17:07Speaker 1: and I'm staying there until Saturday afternoon in Sydney, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: then I was going to come home on Saturday afternoon
- 17:12Speaker 1: and play golf on Sunday with the boys. And so
- 17:15Speaker 1: the reason I was staying all day and Saturday is
- 17:18Speaker 1: because Beth's working from like seven till ten and Henry
- 17:21Speaker 1: and her roommate's not there, and it just like I
- 17:24Speaker 1: just Henry can't be alone for like that long, and
- 17:26Speaker 1: he would have been alone for like a full ten
- 17:28Speaker 1: hours if I had to leave early enough to go
- 17:29Speaker 1: play golf with them. And so last night on the phone,
- 17:32Speaker 1: Beth asks me, She's like, who are you playing golf
- 17:34Speaker 1: with on Sunday? She just knew I was playing golf.
- 17:36Speaker 1: She goes, who you're playing with? And I was like, oh,
- 17:38Speaker 1: change of plans. Actually, I'm playing on my own. I
- 17:40Speaker 1: told her the story, and she goes, that's so sad.
- 17:42Speaker 1: She goes and I was like, oh, why, Like I
- 17:44Speaker 1: don't really care, and so and she goes, if that
- 17:48Speaker 1: was a girl's group, and I like, a girl in
- 17:52Speaker 1: my group organized something on a Sunday and everyone said yes,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but then no one wanted it to do it on Sunday,
- 17:57Speaker 1: so they organized it Saturday. The group would be in flames. Yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 1: And I was like, oh really. I was like kind
- 18:03Speaker 1: of like, oh, I didn't even feel like affected by
- 18:06Speaker 1: it whatsoever, because they didn't do it to not have
- 18:08Speaker 1: me there.
- 18:09Speaker 2: No, they just like boys being boys.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just like boys being boys, and like
- 18:12Speaker 1: on my part, lack of communication because I didn't even
- 18:14Speaker 1: check the chat and so I said that and then
- 18:17Speaker 1: she basically I think she felt bad, and she goes, well,
- 18:21Speaker 1: she goes, why don't you bring Henry home with you
- 18:24Speaker 1: on Saturday leaving with Joanna? And then on Sunday, Joanne's
- 18:28Speaker 1: coming here anyway to hang out with me and she'll
- 18:30Speaker 1: just bring him then, and I was like, oh, yes,
- 18:32Speaker 1: fair enough. So I just message Hi when I was like, oh, boys,
- 18:34Speaker 1: sort it out a way for me to play golf?
- 18:35Speaker 1: You got a spot still, and they're like yeah, yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I was like, and so best just felt really bad.
- 18:40Speaker 1: She was like, that's so sad. I can't believe you
- 18:41Speaker 1: just told.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Me that easy going, like, it's so one of the
- 18:43Speaker 2: good characteristic traits of being.
- 18:44Speaker 1: To go out. Yeah, Like, the problem I had was
- 18:46Speaker 1: that I initially was like, oh, my friends don't like
- 18:49Speaker 1: me anymore. My friend group was falling apart. No, let's
- 18:52Speaker 1: figure it out. And so I was like, I'll reach out,
- 18:54Speaker 1: try and throw an olive branch out there, and it worked,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and then maybe what they did was really rude. I
- 19:01Speaker 1: no idea, but I was just like, I like just
- 19:03Speaker 1: didn't give a shit, and so I think, what my
- 19:06Speaker 1: that's my bad thing. But then the thing I like
- 19:08Speaker 1: about being a dude is that our friendship isn't going
- 19:11Speaker 1: to fall apart because of that. Yeah, you know what
- 19:12Speaker 1: I mean. Yeah, I see exactly where you come from.
- 19:14Speaker 1: So yeah, long ramble, but yeah, that's what happened. I've
- 19:17Speaker 1: been thinking along.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I've been thinking a lot about how like our friendship
- 19:21Speaker 2: groups falling apart, which, like face value, is very like
- 19:25Speaker 2: hard to accept. But also I've sort of looked at
- 19:28Speaker 2: it a little bit of a different way, and like,
- 19:30Speaker 2: although we don't hang out anymore, I'm part of the
- 19:33Speaker 2: reason I don't make much of an effort to hang
- 19:35Speaker 2: out with certain people. Same But it's also like I
- 19:37Speaker 2: kind of look at it as this is the first
- 19:39Speaker 2: time we've all had the means to do what we
- 19:41Speaker 2: actually want to do in life. We have money, we
- 19:43Speaker 2: have like the brains, we have the mental capacity to
- 19:45Speaker 2: back what we want to do in life, and we're
- 19:47Speaker 2: all going our own journeys and we're all experienced. We're
- 19:49Speaker 2: growing as people in the way we want to grow,
- 19:51Speaker 2: whereas beforehand we've all been forced to be in the
- 19:53Speaker 2: same place as life, same place in life. Yeah, so
- 19:56Speaker 2: like I've been looking at as like, oh fuck, oh well,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I am losing my friends just a little bit.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But like they're doing what they want to do, we're
- 20:02Speaker 1: doing what we want to do is completely.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Different, So it's so hard to relate to each other
- 20:07Speaker 2: and like come at the end of the day or
- 20:08Speaker 2: on the weekend and be like i's hang out and
- 20:11Speaker 2: then we tolk and we don't have any of the
- 20:12Speaker 2: similar interests we used to anymore.
- 20:14Speaker 1: No, we don't really, so it's just growing. And I
- 20:16Speaker 1: guess that's like the harsh reality of life is just
- 20:17Speaker 1: like ah, fuck, yeah you do. I didn't think it's
- 20:20Speaker 1: gonna happen in our group, Like nah, you don't think
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's gonna happen. Yeah, And the thing is there was
- 20:24Speaker 1: like we're not not friends, no, and it's like nothing happened.
- 20:27Speaker 1: There was no fight, there's no like we wouldn't avoid
- 20:30Speaker 1: each other. Like when you see him at the gym,
- 20:32Speaker 1: it's like yo, you say high, like long time I
- 20:34Speaker 1: see and then you have a little catch up. Then
- 20:35Speaker 1: I literally saw one of the gym I saying he's like, well,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I won't see you in three months. There is anything
- 20:39Speaker 1: else gonna talk, yeah, exactly about I was like, I
- 20:41Speaker 1: don't know, it's really nice though, it's funny, like and
- 20:45Speaker 1: it's just I don't know, it's just the way we are.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I guess, like I don't think like I think there
- 20:50Speaker 1: would be people out there that would say the way
- 20:53Speaker 1: you guys are talking is really sad. But for some reason,
- 20:58Speaker 1: is it a problem that I don't feel like it is.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't think it's a problem. I think as long
- 21:02Speaker 2: as you feel happy with your relationships. Although they don't
- 21:05Speaker 2: hang out all the time, but if they did that, like,
- 21:07Speaker 2: it's not there's no mal intend in it. Yeah, like
- 21:09Speaker 2: they didn't do it because they're like, oh fuck, let's
- 21:11Speaker 2: make sure we can't. It would be it would be
- 21:13Speaker 2: funny if like now he said I can come Saturday, voice.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Be like all right, we're not going, like actually were can,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and then they went so yeah, yeah, like there was
- 21:22Speaker 1: just I think the difference between boy and girl groups
- 21:24Speaker 1: is guys sort of unconsciously do it and just do
- 21:28Speaker 1: whatever feels right, whereas girls would if.
- 21:31Speaker 2: They didn't like a girl, potentially make the effort to
- 21:33Speaker 2: not invite someone. Yeah, guys don't really do it even
- 21:36Speaker 2: if we didn't like someone in the group, like properly
- 21:38Speaker 2: didn't like them, but still but they're still welcome to come.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah. True, there's no one that I can't stand to
- 21:44Speaker 1: a level of like I'm literally going to avoid.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, like I'm going to change the events so they
- 21:48Speaker 2: can't come. Like, no guy would ever do that. They
- 21:50Speaker 2: they're just com and be like, hey man, they're not
- 21:51Speaker 2: talked about.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. It's very weird. So have you got
- 21:55Speaker 1: what about you? Man? I do my man boy problem?
- 22:00Speaker 1: My life is.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I think it's relatable because you've done it ever since
- 22:05Speaker 2: you started dating your girlfriend, and I think most people
- 22:08Speaker 2: in a relationship probably like do it. I'm going to
- 22:10Speaker 2: call it loving on a schedule. Is the first time
- 22:14Speaker 2: in my relationship that I've had to love on a schedule,
- 22:17Speaker 2: and I'm learning to do so that's not a.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Bad thing by any means.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I'm just learning it and that it's what I'm dealing
- 22:21Speaker 2: with at the moment because my girlfriend got a new
- 22:24Speaker 2: job and she's actually working like eight till four Monday
- 22:28Speaker 2: to Thursday. Yep, completely fine, completely fine, go her like,
- 22:31Speaker 2: I don't care about that. And then she has like
- 22:33Speaker 2: her own life, yeah then she has Yeah, then then
- 22:36Speaker 2: she has her own life, and then like and then
- 22:38Speaker 2: we plan like things around that whereas before because our
- 22:41Speaker 2: lives like we do what we want.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Well, yeah we can. Really the beauty of our job
- 22:46Speaker 1: is that like, when you do have a relationship, you
- 22:47Speaker 1: can really mold your day around there. Yeah. The tricky
- 22:51Speaker 1: thing is, though, is if you do it a lot
- 22:52Speaker 1: and then you get to a point where I like,
- 22:54Speaker 1: I'm sick of molding my day around yours, just like wait,
- 22:55Speaker 1: can I even put my foot down exactly?
- 22:58Speaker 2: And beforehand, she had like a really early job at
- 23:01Speaker 2: a gym as a receptionist, so she was done by
- 23:02Speaker 2: eleven o'clock. Yeah, so but now she's working like full
- 23:05Speaker 2: days and she's tired, and then, like you said, she
- 23:07Speaker 2: has a full life, which I'm all for.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's like it's like.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Learning to communicate when we're tired and make time and
- 23:15Speaker 2: quality time on the weekend. And it's just like I'm
- 23:18Speaker 2: just figuring out how I want to do that, and
- 23:21Speaker 2: that's what's going on in my life.
- 23:22Speaker 1: That is that's that's funny. Yeah, And it's so yeah. Well,
- 23:26Speaker 1: so obviously like Monday to Thursday, it's not written off
- 23:30Speaker 1: to hang out, but you would hang out a lot
- 23:32Speaker 1: less now month from mondays Oh yeah, she's only just
- 23:34Speaker 1: started too, so I'm like she's got to settle and
- 23:37Speaker 1: like get so right now. It's the hardest, Yeah, she'd
- 23:39Speaker 1: be actually tired and stuff. I'm not I'm not complaining
- 23:41Speaker 1: like not seeing her at all anything like that, but
- 23:42Speaker 1: she's also like I don't expect to see her on
- 23:44Speaker 1: a Tuesday because she's tired, she wants She wakes up
- 23:46Speaker 1: the next day and goes to the gym at five
- 23:47Speaker 1: am and then goes to work. Fuck man, I can't
- 23:49Speaker 1: believe she does that day.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like she's drowning and I'm proud of her, but
- 23:52Speaker 2: like it's also just like, oh, I've good, this is different.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Figure out how to make this work. So you also
- 23:56Speaker 1: don't like it's like, yeah, you could say I'll come
- 23:58Speaker 1: stay at your place or whatever, but then yeah, if
- 24:01Speaker 1: she's getting up for five am to go to the gym,
- 24:02Speaker 1: because like you know, she's on the grind, then you're
- 24:05Speaker 1: up at five. And it's also tricky for our position
- 24:08Speaker 1: because our life is so multiple, we do a lot
- 24:10Speaker 1: of things. But it's also like I could do that,
- 24:13Speaker 1: but also also like it impacts my day, but my
- 24:16Speaker 1: day isn't set, like I don't have to be at
- 24:17Speaker 1: work at eight o'clock. See, I feel for that. I
- 24:20Speaker 1: think it's funny that you say that. I feel the same. Yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 1: and what I actually so for the longest time, I've
- 24:29Speaker 1: been really bad at like voicing, so like when I
- 24:34Speaker 1: don't know, like voicing that I really do want a routine.
- 24:38Speaker 1: As much as it's like we say the nine to
- 24:40Speaker 1: five sucks, it's also like the routine's great. So like
- 24:43Speaker 1: nine to five for us is good because it's like
- 24:46Speaker 1: we're doing it because we want to do it right
- 24:48Speaker 1: and so on. Say, I think it was Monday. I
- 24:55Speaker 1: was like, they have this thing. I still have this thing.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Even though we can work whenever we want, I still
- 25:00Speaker 1: have this thing that like Monday to Friday other work days,
- 25:04Speaker 1: and so this Monday just gone. On Sunday night, I
- 25:08Speaker 1: stayed at best place. We went out for dinner. It
- 25:11Speaker 1: was because it was the only day we could hang out.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And so I was like, oh, well I'll stay the
- 25:15Speaker 1: night because I can. Yeah. I just feel like it'd
- 25:18Speaker 1: be fucked if I was like, no, I don't want
- 25:20Speaker 1: to even though I can.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we can pretty much say yes to everything around
- 25:26Speaker 2: when we have to do our work around them, yeah, which.
- 25:29Speaker 1: And it's like good but bad. Yeah, it's a champagne problem,
- 25:32Speaker 1: but it's also a problem. So I basically was in
- 25:35Speaker 1: my head like I need to. I was like i'd
- 25:38Speaker 1: like to because and so the reason why I was
- 25:40Speaker 1: in mead is because this year I've given myself the
- 25:43Speaker 1: goal of just wanting to fall in love with the
- 25:44Speaker 1: gym again. And so I have my routine now where
- 25:47Speaker 1: every day I'll wake up, go for a fifteen minute walk,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and then I do a little bit of work from
- 25:52Speaker 1: like eight till nine, have breakfast, do a little bit
- 25:55Speaker 1: more from nine till like ten forty five, then go
- 25:57Speaker 1: to the gym. I find a really like going on
- 26:00Speaker 1: the gym at eleven, and as soon as I get
- 26:01Speaker 1: home lunch because like, I don't want to go to
- 26:04Speaker 1: the gym and have like and then I ate lunch
- 26:05Speaker 1: straight away. And then on the days we record, as
- 26:07Speaker 1: soon as I'm done lunch, you come over to record
- 26:10Speaker 1: and then but other than that, I would just like
- 26:11Speaker 1: go edit or work more. And so this particular day
- 26:15Speaker 1: we weren't recording. It was just going to be like
- 26:17Speaker 1: a work day. And so on Monday, I didn't get
- 26:22Speaker 1: I had to drive home from Sydney. I didn't get
- 26:23Speaker 1: home until like maybe nine, but I had to go
- 26:28Speaker 1: grocery shoping because I didn't have any food and so
- 26:30Speaker 1: I was like, Fuck, my day isn't going to get
- 26:32Speaker 1: started until so so late. And I was like, you
- 26:35Speaker 1: know what, though having the flexibility means I could do
- 26:39Speaker 1: the same routine, but it's just like everything's going to
- 26:42Speaker 1: be pushed back a few hours. So I did that. Basically,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I just as soon as I got home, I did
- 26:47Speaker 1: the amount of work I would want to do, and
- 26:49Speaker 1: then I ate. So I just pushed everything back just
- 26:52Speaker 1: like that little bit further and it seemed to be fine. Yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: it is very good.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's also like setting boundaries for yourself and
- 26:59Speaker 2: your relationship. It was like, although I can make everything work, yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 2: like I don't have to.
- 27:04Speaker 1: No, it's funny, isn't it. Maybe it's probably conversation like
- 27:08Speaker 1: that we should both have with that girlfriends Like I'm
- 27:10Speaker 1: not we could bring it up like I'm not having
- 27:12Speaker 1: this conversation with you to say that you've been doing
- 27:15Speaker 1: something wrong. Yeah, it's that I was molding everything around
- 27:19Speaker 1: you for so long and I don't know, I don't
- 27:24Speaker 1: want to do that anymore. It doesn't sound good. Don't
- 27:26Speaker 1: think that sounds good because it's like I'll still mold
- 27:28Speaker 1: stuff around you because I want to see you, but
- 27:29Speaker 1: at the same time it's like I'm I'm okay, not great,
- 27:33Speaker 1: but I don't know how I wouldn't say it like that.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I've been molding my life around you because I haven't been.
- 27:40Speaker 1: It's because I also do what I want.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I think it would be more like setting up your
- 27:44Speaker 2: job how you want it to look, and then telling
- 27:46Speaker 2: her that this is my job, although it's very flexible,
- 27:48Speaker 2: this is how I like to work, yeah, true, yeah,
- 27:51Speaker 2: and then saying like, this is my schedule. I know
- 27:53Speaker 2: what yours is because your work is set, yeah, and
- 27:55Speaker 2: like let's work around both of our schedules together.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Maybe that's better.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's probably is better, yeah, because like you do have
- 27:59Speaker 2: we do have routine, exact same thing, like the way
- 28:01Speaker 2: I like to edit a couple of hours in the
- 28:03Speaker 2: morning and everything like that. And then there's also days
- 28:05Speaker 2: where I'm like, oh fuck it, I'll just hang out
- 28:06Speaker 2: of you.
- 28:07Speaker 1: It is so like tomorrow, for instance, Beth, she has
- 28:11Speaker 1: a day off Tomorrow and then she's working all Saturday,
- 28:16Speaker 1: and so this week, the only day I can see
- 28:18Speaker 1: her is all Friday. So I was like, well, look,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'll just take all Friday off it as well, because
- 28:22Speaker 1: I can't. Yeah, And I mean, to be honest, thinking
- 28:25Speaker 1: about like it, I'm not worried about it, I guess, and.
- 28:28Speaker 2: It is a very Champagne problem. But imagine, like so
- 28:31Speaker 2: I'm like trying to love on a schedule with how
- 28:33Speaker 2: I was a phrased it. Imagine like two people on
- 28:35Speaker 2: two separate city That's what I Yeah, I was just
- 28:36Speaker 2: thinking that at least we don't have a fucking schedule.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point. Actually we're really winging about
- 28:41Speaker 1: nothing because like imagine someone that worked at a cafe
- 28:44Speaker 1: and then someone worked at a restaurant. Yeah, and their
- 28:46Speaker 1: schedules don't line up ever, and they don't have any flexibility.
- 28:49Speaker 1: It's not like they can be like, oh, take Friday,
- 28:51Speaker 1: you're true. They can't just be like, yeah, you know what,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I will actually start three hours later for you. They can't.
- 28:56Speaker 1: They'll get fucking fire. Yeah, exactly. That's tough. So me,
- 28:58Speaker 1: I wonder if there's any it's probably dilemma's in the
- 29:01Speaker 1: dilemmas about that, But if anyone's going through that, I'd
- 29:03Speaker 1: love to read a dilemma, and.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I think there would be heaps as well, also, like balancing,
- 29:06Speaker 2: Like we've talked about friends, jobs, and like prioritizing time
- 29:10Speaker 2: with your girlfriend when your schedule's alive, Like that'd be
- 29:12Speaker 2: that's so relatable.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So maybe what's something to take away from that? But
- 29:16Speaker 1: everyone's going through the same problems.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that your friends are if you haven't, Yeah, but
- 29:20Speaker 2: you're going in different ways.
- 29:22Speaker 1: If you haven't problems with your friendships, You're not the
- 29:24Speaker 1: only one. It's okay, it's normal, yeah if.
- 29:27Speaker 2: You and I think it's also normal too, because even
- 29:30Speaker 2: I was just thinking in the back of my head,
- 29:31Speaker 2: I was like, are we going to sound like we're
- 29:32Speaker 2: fucking winching when we have a good job.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I was like, it's okay to have a problem when
- 29:36Speaker 1: you're doing good. Yeah, to say, if you have a
- 29:38Speaker 1: champagne problem that you think is a champagne problem, it's
- 29:40Speaker 1: still a problem. Yeah, it's still problem to be a problem. Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 2: If you're doing good and then you've got a problem,
- 29:43Speaker 2: it's it's still a valid problem in your life, exactly.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Yeah, Like you know, you built the life the way
- 29:47Speaker 1: you wanted it to be built. So if it's a
- 29:49Speaker 1: problem for you, it's a problem for you. Yeah, exactly.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Good takeaway. It's that time of the episode where we
- 29:59Speaker 2: read some of your dilemmas.
- 30:01Speaker 1: You know what to do.
- 30:02Speaker 2: It is at the top of the description of this
- 30:04Speaker 2: episode or link in bio on Instagram.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Scroll down.
- 30:06Speaker 2: It says weekly dilemmas and it's all anonymous because we
- 30:09Speaker 2: are idiots. That was clean off the tongue. You didn't
- 30:16Speaker 2: want to hear the episode, which corrupt I forgot what
- 30:18Speaker 2: to say.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Okay, dilemma.
- 30:20Speaker 2: My boyfriend works twice a week at a daycare and
- 30:23Speaker 2: one of those shifts, a girl from school tries to
- 30:26Speaker 2: flirt with him.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Definitely a coworker.
- 30:28Speaker 2: A couple months ago, she managed to get his number
- 30:31Speaker 2: for something work related in brackets he didn't really explain
- 30:35Speaker 2: and has since slid into his DMS a lot now.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Occasionally he would mention some conversations of her to me
- 30:42Speaker 2: and show me texts that she has sent, and when
- 30:44Speaker 2: I say it's weird, it's very weird. It was blatantly
- 30:48Speaker 2: obvious that she was trying to flirt with him, and
- 30:51Speaker 2: yet for some reason, he continues to message her. There
- 30:55Speaker 2: was one conversation where he joked that he had her
- 30:57Speaker 2: number on speeddar because I have to be in a
- 31:00Speaker 2: low mood most of the time. When he does talk
- 31:03Speaker 2: to her. He seems to joke about the messages, but
- 31:06Speaker 2: I do let him know I'm not entirely comfortable. I
- 31:09Speaker 2: have told him that it's pretty obvious that this girl
- 31:11Speaker 2: is flirting and to block her. And he seems to
- 31:14Speaker 2: think that that will get him fired because the girl
- 31:16Speaker 2: is friendly with the boss. Am I wrong for asking
- 31:18Speaker 2: him to stop message her? Or is it okay since
- 31:21Speaker 2: it's a colleague. This has been very confusing for me.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Damn son, Oh, I think that's completely disrespectful, very disrespectful.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Like yeah, and the fact that he can't see it
- 31:35Speaker 1: with his two eyes, that's crazy. He doesn't care raing No, I.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Think he likes the attention.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I think the excuse of get out of jail
- 31:43Speaker 1: free card and it's not the excuse of she's friendly
- 31:47Speaker 1: with the boss and that will get you fired. Is
- 31:50Speaker 1: literally like you could fucking sue the company. The boss
- 31:54Speaker 1: wouldn't do that. I guarantee you the boss isn't worried
- 31:58Speaker 1: about if you blocked her. Not if you're a good worker,
- 32:01Speaker 1: he's gonna be like, I'm not getting rid of him
- 32:02Speaker 1: because he blocked you. Get over it. So he's confident
- 32:05Speaker 1: that he's a good worker and worth the money that
- 32:07Speaker 1: they spend on him, and he can block it.
- 32:10Speaker 2: And I don't even think it needs to come down
- 32:12Speaker 2: to blocking, because maybe that scene is a little bit toxic,
- 32:14Speaker 2: but your boyfriend should just be like, oh, I'm sorry,
- 32:17Speaker 2: I'm not going to talk to anymore, leave the number
- 32:20Speaker 2: in the phone, and just never reply unless it's work related. Like,
- 32:24Speaker 2: I also don't think it needs to come to a
- 32:25Speaker 2: block to be comfortable in their relationship. But this guy's
- 32:29Speaker 2: obviously lost your trust by doing this action.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Yeah, what was that little thing? Remember? Remember that the
- 32:34Speaker 1: ted talk you brought once about little things of trust?
- 32:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what was that around? Good question, man, long time.
- 32:41Speaker 2: That was a long time ago. Trust trust, trust, Come on.
- 32:45Speaker 1: It was like you think it was that how to
- 32:46Speaker 1: gain trust again? Feed me, feed me? And I remember
- 32:49Speaker 1: being like, there was little things that can break trust, right,
- 32:52Speaker 1: So like, let's say that you and I are dating
- 32:54Speaker 1: and I'm trying to have a conversation with you and
- 32:55Speaker 1: you're on your phone and you realize I'm trying to
- 32:57Speaker 1: talk to you, but you're still on your phone and
- 32:59Speaker 1: you don't really hear what I say. So I'm like,
- 33:00Speaker 1: what did I say? And you say I don't know. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 1: So it's like little things like that are going to
- 33:04Speaker 1: make me lose trust that I can't even fucking talk
- 33:07Speaker 1: to you while you're on your phone, because I also
- 33:09Speaker 1: don't trust that you're gonna get off your phone when
- 33:11Speaker 1: I start talking, so I'm not valuable. Yeah. And it's like,
- 33:13Speaker 1: you don't you don't want to sound dramatic, but like,
- 33:15Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, that's no. I think I think that's
- 33:17Speaker 1: a really good point, just the fact that he's making
- 33:20Speaker 1: it seem like such a minuscule thing talking to a colleague,
- 33:24Speaker 1: and like he said, it was just the word colleague,
- 33:25Speaker 1: like like there's not a big deal when it is
- 33:27Speaker 1: a big deal. Yeah, And he's sort of invalidating your
- 33:29Speaker 1: emotions by saying that because there's this extra scenario, there's
- 33:32Speaker 1: a colleague where in reality he should be doing way better. Yeah.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I find I find it hard to give benefit of
- 33:41Speaker 1: the doubt in these situations. A like I am trying
- 33:47Speaker 1: to think here. I think Beth said to me once,
- 33:54Speaker 1: I don't know what what the situation was, right, I
- 33:58Speaker 1: have a feeling we it was just like a maybe
- 34:00Speaker 1: a friend of hers or something, and or it was
- 34:03Speaker 1: like a dilemma. I can't fully remember. Maybe she listened
- 34:05Speaker 1: to an episode it was a dilemma and it was like, oh,
- 34:08Speaker 1: my boyfriend, he said to me, he's not one hundred
- 34:11Speaker 1: percent sure how he's feeling right now. I don't know
- 34:15Speaker 1: if Beth is just like mega strong minded in this way,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but she was like, if you said that to me,
- 34:19Speaker 1: I would just break up with you because if you don't, like,
- 34:23Speaker 1: if I know that you don't love me as much
- 34:25Speaker 1: as I love you, and like I know where my
- 34:28Speaker 1: value's at, Like, if you're just going to disrespect me,
- 34:31Speaker 1: then I would just break up with you, Like it's
- 34:32Speaker 1: no brainer. I think that is a very strong mindset. Yeah.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I think a lot of people like that. No, but
- 34:39Speaker 1: when she but I also like if Beth was to
- 34:41Speaker 1: come to me and be like check, I don't know
- 34:43Speaker 1: how I'm feeling and be like, oh, well I'll make
- 34:44Speaker 1: this easy for you, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah,
- 34:47Speaker 1: I think that's why you work well together. Yeah, but yeah,
- 34:50Speaker 1: I see where you're going. I think, And like, if
- 34:52Speaker 1: Beth was had this guy at her work that I
- 34:56Speaker 1: was like, I had the strongest feeling was flirting with
- 34:59Speaker 1: her and then got her number and she was like
- 35:02Speaker 1: always always texting him and then would make jokes of
- 35:07Speaker 1: like when I'm in a bad mood, She's like, this
- 35:09Speaker 1: is the reason why I've got James Dunber on speed dial.
- 35:12Speaker 1: What the fuck? Yeah, I was going to say.
- 35:15Speaker 2: What she should do is be like to her boyfriend,
- 35:17Speaker 2: you've crossed the boundary here. Yeah, like you're starting to
- 35:21Speaker 2: lose my trust or you've lost my trust. Yeah, I'm
- 35:25Speaker 2: not going to give you an ulterior automotive you know
- 35:27Speaker 2: what to do.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to give you an automatum. That's stupid.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I'm just not comfortable with this. So and then see
- 35:33Speaker 1: what he does.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Then if he's like it's just a colleague again, then
- 35:35Speaker 2: be like, fuck you, I'm putting myself first.
- 35:37Speaker 1: True, it's a hard thing to do, but I think
- 35:39Speaker 1: he should do it. Yeah.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And he's just like he's just trading you, like
- 35:42Speaker 2: the dirt under your shoe. He is, you voiced how
- 35:44Speaker 2: you feel, and he just like keeps doing it. That's
- 35:45Speaker 2: like just rubbing salt in the wound.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Like even though he could argue all day that
- 35:49Speaker 1: technically he's not like you know, doing he's not like
- 35:53Speaker 1: cheating or anything like that that's just because he's not
- 35:57Speaker 1: cheating doesn't mean he's not doing the wrong thing.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I think that's relatable. Is like so
- 36:02Speaker 2: many relationships have all these problems that it faced value
- 36:04Speaker 2: might seem miniscule, Yeah, but they're not, like because society
- 36:09Speaker 2: has told you that that's just always just a collie,
- 36:11Speaker 2: Like all these problems should be like just brushed under
- 36:13Speaker 2: the door mat or whatever, Like they actually do have
- 36:16Speaker 2: a lot of value, and like, yeah, I think your
- 36:19Speaker 2: emotions are completely valid, very valid.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Maybe you should maybe you should just start messaging it, dude,
- 36:25Speaker 1: fight fire with fire, Like your boyfriend is very clearly
- 36:29Speaker 1: like he's pushing you away. Yeah, like anyone from an
- 36:32Speaker 1: outside perspective hearing what you just your dilemma would say
- 36:35Speaker 1: that he's pushing you away, and like you're getting pushed
- 36:37Speaker 1: away even though you don't want to be pushed away.
- 36:39Speaker 1: So very like eventually, like obviously you still look at
- 36:42Speaker 1: him as like, oh, but like the guy fell in
- 36:44Speaker 1: love with which is so fair, and so eventually you're
- 36:47Speaker 1: going to realize you're being pushed away and then you're
- 36:49Speaker 1: gonna let it happen, and then you're gonna do this.
- 36:50Speaker 1: So I reckon. Yeah, you just put your foot down. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: I think put your foot down to I have one
- 36:56Speaker 1: from a male to do with our Boys episode. I'm
- 37:00Speaker 1: a twenty three year old guy who's looking for a girlfriend.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I've been single since I was twenty and never had
- 37:06Speaker 1: the chance to meet someone new. I've been on and
- 37:09Speaker 1: off dating apps, but it probably just doesn't work for me.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Plus I don't have many friends and no social life
- 37:16Speaker 1: for whatsoever. I don't have any specific hobby or interest
- 37:20Speaker 1: that lead me to new people. So how can I
- 37:23Speaker 1: possibly find a girl? I want a serious relationship? Thanks?
- 37:28Speaker 2: Ah? No, man, Okay, we can help this guy out
- 37:31Speaker 2: heaps so much.
- 37:34Speaker 1: First, my first initial thought is like, right now, is
- 37:43Speaker 1: it a good time to get a girlfriend? No? Not
- 37:45Speaker 1: at all.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the way you described like you said, I have
- 37:48Speaker 2: no likes, no hobbies, your mindset towards those things isn't
- 37:53Speaker 2: very good. Let's flip that you can get a new hobby,
- 37:56Speaker 2: find out what you like, get your passion, find your spark,
- 37:59Speaker 2: become the independent king that you are, ye, and then
- 38:03Speaker 2: the girl will come. But if you're in this state
- 38:06Speaker 2: of I'm not going to say you're miserable, but like
- 38:07Speaker 2: in this state of like unknowingness, Like that's not where
- 38:12Speaker 2: you should be going into a relationship.
- 38:14Speaker 1: From agreed, I couldn't agree more so.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I think you need to find your spark. And then
- 38:20Speaker 2: it's cliche, but like your girls and girlfriends come when
- 38:24Speaker 2: you least expect it.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's weird and it's like or actually, well remember this,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you're you know, you went to therapy because you felt
- 38:32Speaker 1: like you didn't need it. And there's a very popular
- 38:35Speaker 1: saying out there that the best time to go to
- 38:36Speaker 1: therapy is when you feel like you don't need it. Honestly,
- 38:40Speaker 1: the best time to have a girlfriend is when you
- 38:43Speaker 1: are in love with yourself and feel like you don't
- 38:45Speaker 1: need it. Yes, and then what it will happen and
- 38:47Speaker 1: you're this healthy version of yourself. Like I don't want
- 38:49Speaker 1: to say you're not healthy, but you know, it seems
- 38:52Speaker 1: like from that small word, of the small amount of
- 38:56Speaker 1: words you've given us, it's like, so you don't have
- 38:58Speaker 1: a group of friends, you don't have a so you
- 39:00Speaker 1: don't have any interests, So that would kind of translate
- 39:02Speaker 1: you don't probably don't really have any passions, so maybe
- 39:05Speaker 1: there's just like not much of you right now? Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 1: you you want to try and build yourself.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Well, I think also what Jake said before, how him
- 39:14Speaker 2: and Beth if they said they'd lost feelings would just
- 39:17Speaker 2: break up with you. That's because they're a strong, independent person.
- 39:20Speaker 2: But if you go into a relationship with the mindset
- 39:23Speaker 2: I want a girlfriend or I want a boyfriend, when
- 39:26Speaker 2: you get in it, your mindset will be like I'll
- 39:28Speaker 2: do anything to make this work.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's semi toxic. It's not great because it
- 39:33Speaker 1: just gives that other person all this power. Yeah, and
- 39:36Speaker 1: it just.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Gets like I was just like, Okay, I'll make everything work,
- 39:39Speaker 2: Like yeah, that's fine, Like.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I'm all for fighting for a relationship, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:42Speaker 1: but you both need to be putting the same amount
- 39:45Speaker 1: of effort in yeah and yeah, Like the way you're
- 39:48Speaker 1: talking is kind of just like very I guess.
- 39:51Speaker 2: The way you're talking is you're fifty percent of the
- 39:54Speaker 2: person you have potential to be, and you're looking for
- 39:57Speaker 2: the other fifty percent in a girlfriend, where in reality,
- 40:00Speaker 2: a relationship is one hundred percent of a person going
- 40:02Speaker 2: to another one hundred percent of a person.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah, hundred percent.
- 40:04Speaker 2: So you've got time you say it was twenty three
- 40:06Speaker 2: or twenty three, you got mate your time problem.
- 40:09Speaker 1: It takes fucking six months to find yourself. Yeah. Fuck,
- 40:11Speaker 1: I mean I just say, like, doesn't have to be
- 40:14Speaker 1: the gym, doesn't have to be fitness or anything. I
- 40:16Speaker 1: would just say, like, unless you want it to be.
- 40:18Speaker 1: But I don't know, just I find falling in love
- 40:21Speaker 1: with It could be anything, even though like a lot
- 40:23Speaker 1: of girls don't like it. It can be gaming these girls
- 40:25Speaker 1: out there that love gaming. If you love gaming, it
- 40:27Speaker 1: could be gaming. If you like you surely you love something.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah, Like even if you're not great at a basketball,
- 40:33Speaker 2: like running, like pick up anything.
- 40:35Speaker 1: It's it's a yeah, there's something attractive about someone that's
- 40:38Speaker 1: like just I don't know all there. It's also when
- 40:41Speaker 1: you hit about twenty twenty two, twenty three, twenty four, it's.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Also nice to go pick up old hobbies you used
- 40:46Speaker 2: to like and see if you still like them.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Like I had a year or two off soccer, and
- 40:49Speaker 2: when I came back for that first year, I really
- 40:50Speaker 2: enjoyed myself. Like it wasn't for the long run, but
- 40:53Speaker 2: I had a year I was like, oh, this is
- 40:54Speaker 2: still fun.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You had had a couple of years off Fortnite maw.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, that's it exactly.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I come.
- 40:59Speaker 2: But you're you go through a little phases in your life.
- 41:01Speaker 2: And if you used to like something and maybe you're
- 41:03Speaker 2: struggling for a hobby, be like, may well, I used
- 41:05Speaker 2: to like playing chess.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Yeah, let's go back to chess. Whatever it is. Yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 1: I don't care anything. It could be anything. Time to
- 41:18Speaker 1: maybe laugh at our gender, yeah, which is we like
- 41:24Speaker 1: to do everything.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Let's poke fun and laugh.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Let's poke fun and laugh. And I don't know it.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I feel like it's the healthiest. Yeah, it is the
- 41:30Speaker 1: healthiest thing.
- 41:31Speaker 2: And actually it could help out ten percent of male
- 41:34Speaker 2: listeners maybe true.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you never know. So this is things guys wear
- 41:40Speaker 1: that a cringe because if anyone needs help with fashion,
- 41:43Speaker 1: it's men.
- 41:45Speaker 2: And so we get these on Instagram, and I was
- 41:47Speaker 2: scrolling through them quite a lot, thank you very much.
- 41:50Speaker 2: There was a lot, and I was thinking to myself
- 41:53Speaker 2: when I was scrolling, I was like, I can't wear
- 41:55Speaker 2: fucking anything, That's what I was thinking. And then I
- 41:58Speaker 2: was also thinking.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I was like, wait a sec. These girls are very smart.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Do they want us to be naked? Fact, that's such
- 42:04Speaker 1: a good point. Because I was looking I was like,
- 42:05Speaker 1: I can't wear fucking socks. I can't wear the most
- 42:10Speaker 1: popular one. Things guys wear that a cringe skinny jeans.
- 42:15Speaker 1: There was I reckon. There was at least two thousand responses.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Ninety percent of them were skinny jeans.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Okay, that was way more than two thousand rolled. There
- 42:27Speaker 2: was heaps. Yeah, and I would like to say Jake

- 42:43Speaker 1: It's like, let's get on the same level here, girls. Okay,
- 42:45Speaker 1: but these are the ones I pretty much agree with too. Okay, cool?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Oh I chose ones that I don't even really h
- 42:50Speaker 2: things guys wear that are cringe. Black Nike socks pulled
- 42:54Speaker 2: halfway up to their calves with white air Force ones.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh facts, bro, Yeah, I can be on board with
- 43:02Speaker 1: that one.
- 43:02Speaker 2: It's like their mom's got their fashion, like air Forces
- 43:06Speaker 2: and some socks for Christmas.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Oh my god. Things guys wear that a cringe, the
- 43:13Speaker 1: forbidden shorts and in brackets, it says the girls know, oh, I.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Know exactly what they are. Cheese grater jeans. That's what
- 43:21Speaker 2: the ford are. Those ones with like that weird little
- 43:23Speaker 2: jagged pattern on them.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, I hate that. That's what.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that's what the forbidden I hate. Yeah,
- 43:29Speaker 2: I hate them too, Oh my god. Things guys wear

- 43:37Speaker 1: board with it.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Takes like a certain top of man to be able
- 43:40Speaker 2: a rock a chain necklace, and most of them are.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a that's a good one. Things guys wear
- 43:48Speaker 1: that a cringe. Crocs.
- 43:53Speaker 2: They're comfortable and they're functional, very practical.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You can put that, put them into famall drive and
- 43:59Speaker 1: you can do active.
- 44:00Speaker 2: That'd be my beach shoe. It's been hot the sand,
- 44:03Speaker 2: yeah flow yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Do you think about the practicality. You can get them
- 44:06Speaker 1: wet and they'll be dry and no time.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Exactly, mate, surely they didn't say lightning the queen crocs
- 44:11Speaker 2: just cross, Yeah, yeah, exactly cross.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I got a one of a kind.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Mate. Things guys wear that a cringe wearing loafers with
- 44:20Speaker 2: no socks. Loafers with no socks, So your shoes these
- 44:24Speaker 2: are a mule.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I would call that a loafer. No, No, do you
- 44:27Speaker 1: know what a loafer is? I thought that was a loafer. No,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I have a pair of loafers in my closet. They're
- 44:32Speaker 1: a proper shoe's And I know what they mean. A
- 44:34Speaker 1: loafer is like a full leather shoe, like a fool
- 44:37Speaker 1: like you slip it in and it's like, I took loafers,
- 44:41Speaker 1: show your shoe. These are a mule. I thought that
- 44:43Speaker 1: was what they were talking about. Well, here's the funny
- 44:44Speaker 1: thing is things guys wear that a cringe birken stock.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I'm literally wearing socks. I thought girls love that. No,
- 44:52Speaker 1: apparently they're allowed to wear them, but not.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I thought that were nice things guys wear that the
- 44:58Speaker 2: cringe low sock.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I've got ankle socks here, and why why can't I
- 45:04Speaker 1: wear ankle socks? Boy? I posted a story one time
- 45:07Speaker 1: Beth and I went to the gym together and we
- 45:08Speaker 1: did a leg date, and I posted a story of me.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I was walking down some stairs and I was struggling
- 45:13Speaker 1: because it's hard to go downstairs once you've done a
- 45:14Speaker 1: leg day And she was filming me and I was
- 45:17Speaker 1: wearing ankle socks and someone replied to my think ankle
- 45:19Speaker 1: socks ick? Yeah? What I was like, why?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Yeah, No, we're not talking about those sockets. We're just
- 45:24Speaker 2: talking about ankle socks. Yeah.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I don't understand either. I have to say I threw
- 45:28Speaker 1: all mine now, but yeah, you know what I've literally,
- 45:31Speaker 1: I've not given a shit. I still have them. I
- 45:33Speaker 1: wear them good on you. Yeah. Things guys wear that
- 45:36Speaker 1: a cringe. Sports jerseys, I can see that. Yeah. I
- 45:42Speaker 1: don't ever unless it's like a cool like vintage one.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but I swear no, wait, wait a minute, wait
- 45:47Speaker 2: a minute. What's with all these girls going to BTV
- 45:52Speaker 2: Lost Paradise, all these festivals and they're wearing soccer jerseys?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Yeah, explain that.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I'm going to go up to her name one player
- 45:59Speaker 2: from that.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah, explain that girl, explain that they look good. Let
- 46:03Speaker 1: us wear a jersey if we want to wear.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The jersey goes a long way. I've seen them around.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just because you look hot at them. Things.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Guys wear that a cringe. Speedo's Oh my god, come on,
- 46:18Speaker 2: I agree.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Spears at the beach.
- 46:20Speaker 2: No, that's a no, I remember because we had we
- 46:23Speaker 2: used to row together. Yes, people didn't know that the
- 46:25Speaker 2: first time. That's like the first time I rock speedos.
- 46:27Speaker 2: At least you have a purpose there so you don't
- 46:29Speaker 2: feel as cringe and you're with a couple of guys
- 46:31Speaker 2: that are wearing speeds and you got to like put
- 46:32Speaker 2: a fucking g banger up when.
- 46:34Speaker 1: It is the most embarrassing thing when you're about to
- 46:36Speaker 1: jump in the boat and they're like, okay, wet the
- 46:38Speaker 1: seat and pull them up your ears.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Yeah weir they I really think, I know, like it's
- 46:44Speaker 2: in the water. Sure they can make like a system
- 46:46Speaker 2: where you like roll on like a Bally system old
- 46:48Speaker 2: boats did, yeah, instead of it's all like fiberglass. Yeah weird,
- 46:53Speaker 2: But I've I've got to agree with Speedoska.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Things guys wear that a cringe. The barely their mustache,
- 47:05Speaker 1: I think I can pass. I think mine passes zoom
- 47:10Speaker 1: in on yours. So here's I've been thinking about this,
- 47:17Speaker 1: like someone told me to die my musta because I
- 47:19Speaker 1: have like a lot of hair there. Yeah, but it's
- 47:21Speaker 1: just quite blonde like white ones. Yes, So I was
- 47:24Speaker 1: at the start people were telling me to die this.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I think I've I've waited it out long.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Ye, no, yours is good? Should I die in mind guys?
- 47:30Speaker 1: Or just shave it off? Wait? I would wait segment
- 47:34Speaker 1: in real life, segment on the pod. Shave it off diet.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good idea, but you gotta leave it
- 47:38Speaker 2: on for like three minutes and ago. Maybe I should
- 47:40Speaker 2: what colors die?
- 47:41Speaker 1: Let's get like. I don't think we could go to
- 47:42Speaker 1: the barber shop and they do it for you.
- 47:44Speaker 2: That'd be kind of cool.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Yeah, get someone, we get ash, Yeah, barber in Yeah,
- 47:48Speaker 1: it's get him on the pod. I don't know if
- 47:51Speaker 1: they die the censer. I actually think you'd need a hairdresser.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I don't know if barber's die hair Maybe we could
- 47:55Speaker 1: ask your head already.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Things guys wear that a cringe. Oversized pinky rings?
- 48:03Speaker 1: Why god? I mean I don't have a pinky ring.
- 48:06Speaker 2: So I was thinking the one on your finger, if that.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Was on your pinky, oh like a chunky Yeah if
- 48:13Speaker 1: I had, If this was, if this only fit on
- 48:15Speaker 1: my pinky, I would wear it on my pinky. I'm
- 48:16Speaker 1: tell you that right now. I've got to agree.
- 48:18Speaker 2: What so I don't think the pinky is a place
- 48:20Speaker 2: for a ring.
- 48:22Speaker 1: I disagree.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Okay, you're entitled to your opinion, man, you're entired to
- 48:25Speaker 2: your opinion.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Things guys wear that a cringe any designer bum bag
- 48:33Speaker 1: unless you're in balley and it's got fake one, Like
- 48:36Speaker 1: you're allowed to rock it because it's experience. But if
- 48:39Speaker 1: you're around here like just rocking and putting your phone
- 48:41Speaker 1: in there and stuff. Yeah, I don't care about the
- 48:43Speaker 1: functionality argument either. It's also not a flex. Men have pockets. Yeah,
- 48:46Speaker 1: we have pockets for a reason. It's also not a
- 48:48Speaker 1: flex someone has like a Gucci bot. It's not a flex.
- 48:50Speaker 1: It is not a by one that works. Also, if
- 48:53Speaker 1: someone's wearing a Gucci shirt and it's the ugliest shirt ever,
- 48:58Speaker 1: that's not a flex. Yeah. No, I don't care that
- 49:00Speaker 1: you can afford a Gucci shirt. I would think it's
- 49:02Speaker 1: better if you just knew how to dress like.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I think that's more valuable. Yeah, okay, this is my
- 49:09Speaker 2: last one.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Okay, I got a couple more after things guys wear
- 49:12Speaker 1: the cringe nose rings, not gonna lie. When I was younger,
- 49:17Speaker 1: I wanted one.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I've gone through phases why I've wanted one to.
- 49:20Speaker 1: I am glad I never got it. Yeah, rememb when
- 49:23Speaker 1: JJ got one, did he JJ got a nose It
- 49:26Speaker 1: wasn't a ring, it was a nose stud. You remember that,
- 49:28Speaker 1: I'm not JJ got a no stud, And I remember.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Should we get them to get it back, he wouldn't
- 49:34Speaker 1: do it. We'd have to pay him like money to
- 49:36Speaker 1: do it, because we have to pay for it and
- 49:38Speaker 1: get paying money.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I would love to pierce my ears, but I just
- 49:40Speaker 2: don't think I have the complexion for it. And I'm
- 49:44Speaker 2: too long and skinny.
- 49:45Speaker 1: I've got to be like bulky and like pierced. It
- 49:47Speaker 1: wouldn't suit me. Yeah, and tanned. Some people can rock
- 49:49Speaker 1: a good pieced ibrower. But also just for some reason,
- 49:52Speaker 1: we'd look like goths. Things guys wear that are cringe
- 50:02Speaker 1: testosterone injections. What how's that cringe?
- 50:09Speaker 2: I guess bodybuilders a cringe. Oh, I see, like I
- 50:13Speaker 2: understand the where she's looking from.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Like the people who take and they look terrible.
- 50:17Speaker 2: I'm telling you, once I hit like thirty five, I'm
- 50:19Speaker 2: going straight onto your people that take it.
- 50:22Speaker 1: They are wearing a designer bump back. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 50:28Speaker 1: and the fucking maybe they're wearing like what are they
- 50:32Speaker 1: called loafers without socks?
- 50:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 50:36Speaker 1: Things guys wear that a cringe. Underwear with holes in them.
- 50:42Speaker 2: You don't see them. Why is that your problem? They're comfortable,
- 50:47Speaker 2: uneas you're expensive.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Yeah, underwear are expensive.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I went the Coles had a fifty percent of sale
- 50:52Speaker 2: on Bonds like two days ago, and I bought two packs.
- 50:54Speaker 1: It was still like twenty.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Two dollars or something. Really, I was like, Bonds, let's
- 50:58Speaker 2: get in the undie business.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that there's that brand. Step one, let's make it.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Let's make some mondays. They're like, now, let's go upper echelon. Actually,
- 51:06Speaker 1: let's go with this upper echelon word.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Let's go premium. You don't know, whats up means like
- 51:14Speaker 2: hid the highest of quality. When you say that, you
- 51:17Speaker 2: can say upper echelon. Yeah, so this is going off
- 51:20Speaker 2: a Patreon conversation if you guys don't.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Know things guys wear that a cringe? This one, I
- 51:27Speaker 1: kind of I might be on board with it. A
- 51:30Speaker 1: guitar bag in public. Yeah, it's so niche. Though.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I thought they might like that we plays guitar got one.
- 51:38Speaker 1: It would be a funny video, like we go to
- 51:41Speaker 1: get a guitar case.
- 51:42Speaker 2: From like I don't know, Vinnie's or something. Yeah, some
- 51:45Speaker 2: business Saint Vincent's Paul. And then go make a video
- 51:48Speaker 2: of you, like just walking around and see you get
- 51:50Speaker 2: any girls just like something.
- 51:53Speaker 1: You know, it's a deterrent we have to see. It's
- 51:56Speaker 1: a deterrent scientific experiment o case my last one. Things
- 52:00Speaker 1: guys wear that are cringe an ego that is bigger
- 52:05Speaker 1: than their capabilities. Very cringe. That's very good, and most
- 52:08Speaker 1: of them don't have many capabilities, but they think they do. Hey,
- 52:13Speaker 1: it's because they chain necklace.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Knows bring like eyebrow thing, ego, ego facts. It's like
- 52:19Speaker 2: putting on an ego.
- 52:19Speaker 1: You need a big ego to try and rock them.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry if we ros some people, it
- 52:26Speaker 2: is what it is.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Some people need to be called out. I'm not happy.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I'll keep wearing them. I don't care. I know what
- 52:30Speaker 1: I like. Yeah, yeah, okay, we've got something new to
- 52:39Speaker 1: finish the episode. Guys, Very very exciting.
- 52:42Speaker 2: You might have picked on that we are trying to
- 52:44Speaker 2: build the best community on the internet. Yes, and with that,
- 52:47Speaker 2: we love talking to you guys and getting to know

- 53:28Speaker 1: The pollaon theme with the boys episode. We'll get him
- 53:30Speaker 1: to do the first one. He can show everyone howse done.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I don't think that's a good thing to say. Yeah,
- 53:35Speaker 1: he might actually don't copy him, but let's predict what
- 53:38Speaker 1: he's going to say, like, ju to work. You just work,
- 53:42Speaker 1: and then you'll hear like, and then you hear him
