West Warwick is honoring Jason M. Pisano by renaming a local school after him — a graduate from 1992 who defied limits with cerebral palsy, became a Special Olympics champion, earned a sports journalism degree from UConn, and completed 52 marathons — even pushing his wheelchair backward for every mile — before passing at age 40 in 2012. The renovated former Head Start facility will now be known as the Jason M.
