- 1:01Speaker 2: back to his Hot radio podcast. This is verse by
- 1:06Speaker 2: verse where we get into the Word of God. We
- 1:09Speaker 2: break it down one passage at a time. Today we're
- 1:13Speaker 2: gonna continue Jeremiah chapter eighteen, and we're picking it up
- 1:19Speaker 2: in verse eighteen, and we're gonna finish off this chapter.
- 1:23Speaker 2: We're gonna go all the way to verse twenty three. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: this is a very different part of the chapter. We
- 1:33Speaker 2: just watched. Jeremiah delivered Guy's message about the potter in
- 1:37Speaker 2: the clay. God called the people to repent, but instead
- 1:42Speaker 2: of listening, they decided to come against Jeremiah. And now
- 1:49Speaker 2: Jeremiah responds, Now we're gonna see a hurt prophet, a
- 1:55Speaker 2: frustrated prophet. He's being attacked by the peace people he
- 2:00Speaker 2: was trying to warn, and he takes his pain directly
- 2:05Speaker 2: to God. But there's something uncomfortable about Jeremiah's prayer. He's
- 2:13Speaker 2: asking God to judge his enemies. Wow. So today's passage
- 2:18Speaker 2: rises a serious question. What do we do when the
- 2:24Speaker 2: people were trying to help turn around and attack us.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I belove it. I believe we can all relate all
- 2:33Speaker 2: those who been walking faithfully with God, all of us
- 2:36Speaker 2: who have been trying to win our community. When are
- 2:41Speaker 2: family members and co workers. As I said, my aunt,
- 2:48Speaker 2: my mom's twin sister, who has been very devoted to
- 2:52Speaker 2: my mom while she was in the hospital and different things,
- 2:57Speaker 2: she attacked me open at the funeral while as I
- 3:02Speaker 2: was preaching the eulogy. She interrupted it and she called
- 3:07Speaker 2: me a hypocrite and all kinds of things and disrupted funeral.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So what do I do? Do I turn around and
- 3:17Speaker 2: ask Guy to get her? Or do I forgive her
- 3:21Speaker 2: and continue to pray for her. I think we're gonna
- 3:25Speaker 2: take a look at this as we go through the scripture.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So I'm just saying that to let you know, like
- 3:31Speaker 2: I'm walking through this, I'm living this as we are
- 3:35Speaker 2: reading this. So this is it hits different for me
- 3:38Speaker 2: a man. And also I want you to join us

- 4:40Speaker 2: if you guys like it or not. But that let's
- 4:43Speaker 2: go ahead and pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for
- 4:46Speaker 2: this opportunity to serve you. We thank you, Father God
- 4:49Speaker 2: for this platform, Lord that we could use it, Lord
- 4:52Speaker 2: that we can dive into your word. We ask for
- 4:55Speaker 2: the rima word as we study this together, as we
- 4:58Speaker 2: walk through this together. Oh God, may your word stick
- 5:02Speaker 2: to our hearts, O God, And we thank you, Father God,
- 5:05Speaker 2: for every person who's tuning in. We have to say
- 5:08Speaker 2: you will bless them. We have said you will keep them.
- 5:11Speaker 2: We asked Lord that you will deliver those who need
- 5:14Speaker 2: to be delivered, and we asked this in Jesus' name
- 5:19Speaker 2: a man, all right? Verse eighteen. Then they said, come
- 5:27Speaker 2: and let us devise plans against Jeremiah. Now this is
- 5:34Speaker 2: a heart and heart right. Jeremiah just told him that
- 5:38Speaker 2: God was devising plans against them, and now they're going
- 5:43Speaker 2: to turn around and devise plans against Jeremiah. For the
- 5:51Speaker 2: law show not perish from the priest, nor counsel, from
- 5:58Speaker 2: the wise, nor the world from the prophet. Come and
- 6:02Speaker 2: let us attack him with the tongue, and let us
- 6:07Speaker 2: not give heed to any of his words. Wow, this
- 6:12Speaker 2: is this is getting deep. Come and let us attack
- 6:19Speaker 2: and no, actually, let us devise devices against Jeremiah. All right,
- 6:28Speaker 2: let's break this down. Now, the people began lighting against Jeremiah.
- 6:34Speaker 2: They ofsentially said that, come and let us devise devices
- 6:39Speaker 2: against Jeremiah. They don't want to listen to the prophet.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Hey man, how many of us have unsaved family members, friends,
- 6:51Speaker 2: co workers that just don't want to listen. I remember
- 6:56Speaker 2: I was winning sing to a co worker and we
- 6:58Speaker 2: were kind of like debate about the Bible and the Word,
- 7:02Speaker 2: and he got concerned because of a sence. You know
- 7:08Speaker 2: how sometimes Paul, he has run on sentences in the Bible, right,
- 7:15Speaker 2: And so I believe there was a comma where it
- 7:17Speaker 2: should not have been. Just because of the comma, he
- 7:22Speaker 2: stopped listening to me altogether. Apparently, this gentleman, this guy
- 7:29Speaker 2: and I'm talking to about, was good in English. He
- 7:32Speaker 2: was a you know, good at writing or reading. He
- 7:36Speaker 2: understand understood these things, and so just one little comma
- 7:41Speaker 2: tripped him out and caused him not to listen. Now,
- 7:46Speaker 2: they wanted Jeremiah to be silent. And then they make
- 7:54Speaker 2: an interesting argument another one They say they still have priests,
- 8:03Speaker 2: wise men, and prophets. In other words, why do we
- 8:09Speaker 2: need Jeremiah. They don't want the message because they don't
- 8:16Speaker 2: like the messenger. Right. Sometimes we got to get our
- 8:23Speaker 2: eyes off of people. We got to get our eyes
- 8:25Speaker 2: off of the pastor or whoever it may be, might
- 8:30Speaker 2: be a homeless person that God will send a message
- 8:33Speaker 2: to you, he might give you a word, and just
- 8:37Speaker 2: because we don't like the vessel, we want to reject
- 8:40Speaker 2: the word. That is foolishness. Amen. Jeremiah faced opposition because
- 8:54Speaker 2: he faithfully delivered an unpopular message to the people. The
- 9:00Speaker 2: people they don't want to hear a warning of judgment,
- 9:04Speaker 2: so they begin looking for ways to discredit or oppose
- 9:09Speaker 2: the prophet rather than responding to God's call to repentance.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Hey man, we know that it's the faithful servants of
- 9:25Speaker 2: God who are the ones who get most other persecution.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Now that's something that we still see today. Right. Sometimes
- 9:38Speaker 2: people don't reject the truth because they don't understand it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: They just reject it because they don't like what it
- 9:46Speaker 2: requires them to change. A lot of people don't want
- 9:50Speaker 2: to lay down their lives, and when they can't defeat
- 9:55Speaker 2: the message, sometimes they attack the messenger. And that shows
- 10:00Speaker 2: you like a person who's weak in communication. When the
- 10:06Speaker 2: argument is weak, and then they turn over to personal attacks.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's a tactic right of manipulation. So we have to
- 10:19Speaker 2: be careful, beloved. Don't allow someone's rejection of God's word
- 10:23Speaker 2: to make you stop being faithful to God's word. Hey man,
- 10:33Speaker 2: Verse nineteen. Give heed to me, o Lord, and listen
- 10:39Speaker 2: to the voice of those who contend with me. Now, Jeremiah,
- 10:46Speaker 2: he is about to go in. Give heed to me,
- 10:52Speaker 2: o Lord, and hearken to the voice of them that
- 10:56Speaker 2: contend with me. Now, Jeremiah isn't pretending anything or everything
- 11:06Speaker 2: is okay right here, He's taking the situation to God
- 11:11Speaker 2: directly and man, and I've done this multiple times, and
- 11:15Speaker 2: I have to testify right here and right now that
- 11:19Speaker 2: God has came through for me. In my early twenties,
- 11:24Speaker 2: I was in a situation where people were persecuting me.
- 11:27Speaker 2: People were coming against me, and God removed every one
- 11:31Speaker 2: of these people out of the situation. He is a
- 11:36Speaker 2: protector blooded I'm a witness. But now this is important.
- 11:41Speaker 2: When people are coming against you, where do we take it.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Do you take it to everybody else? Do you blast
- 11:54Speaker 2: the people on social media? Do you tell everybody you're
- 12:00Speaker 2: side of the story, or do you first take it
- 12:03Speaker 2: to God. Jeremiah gives us a great example right here.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Take it to God. Tell him how you feel, tell
- 12:11Speaker 2: him what happened, and tell him what you're afraid of.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And don't have I mean, you don't have to pretend
- 12:24Speaker 2: with God. You don't have to pretend like everything is okay.
- 12:29Speaker 2: God sees and he knows anyway man Verse twenty, shall
- 12:35Speaker 2: evil be be paid for good? For they have doug
- 12:40Speaker 2: a pit for my life? Remember that I stood before
- 12:45Speaker 2: you to speak good for them, to turn away your
- 12:49Speaker 2: wrath from them. Now this is interesting here, right now,
- 12:57Speaker 2: The question is shall evil be recompense for good? In
- 13:01Speaker 2: other words, shall they repay me evil? When I've done
- 13:05Speaker 2: nothing but tried to help them out for their good? Lord,
- 13:12Speaker 2: I was trying to help them, I was praying for them,
- 13:15Speaker 2: I was warning them, and now they're turning against me. Now,
- 13:23Speaker 2: belove it. This is a painful experience. I've experienced something
- 13:29Speaker 2: similar to this in my ministry. Have you ever done
- 13:33Speaker 2: something good for somebody and then have them turn around
- 13:38Speaker 2: and hurt you? Jeremiah understands how that feels. Right. Sometimes,
- 13:46Speaker 2: the hardest people to deal with aren't strangers. They are
- 13:50Speaker 2: people You tried to help, people, you prayed for, people,
- 13:55Speaker 2: you encouraged, people you stood beside, and suddenly they're the
- 14:03Speaker 2: ones criticizing you. Now that's painful, But remember your obedience
- 14:11Speaker 2: isn't validated by people's gratitude. God told you to do it.
- 14:17Speaker 2: You did it, and you did what you were supposed
- 14:21Speaker 2: to do. Whether they appreciate it or not, it is
- 14:28Speaker 2: between them and God. Our job is to be faithful
- 14:34Speaker 2: and to be obedient, and the consequences belonged to the Lord.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I was in a situation where I was basically attacked.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I was attacked, I was lied on, and I had
- 14:55Speaker 2: to get pulled into the office to face what this
- 15:01Speaker 2: accusation was, what the situation was. And after the person
- 15:06Speaker 2: God them speaking to me and explaining the situation, he
- 15:09Speaker 2: asked me if I had any questions, and I told
- 15:12Speaker 2: him no. I just stood there and stayed silent because,
- 15:15Speaker 2: for one, it's none of my business because the Lord
- 15:20Speaker 2: fights my battles. My job is to be faithful to God,
- 15:25Speaker 2: worship and praise him. Bring the matter over to the Lord. Yes,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I brought it. I'm constantly bringing this situation. It could
- 15:33Speaker 2: be very stressful, it could be a tough situation, but
- 15:38Speaker 2: I choose not to worry. I choose. I mean, the
- 15:41Speaker 2: way I look at it is none of my business.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It's none of my business. If you don't like me,
- 15:45Speaker 2: it's none of my business if you're coming against me.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Because ultimately, God will fight for me a man if
- 15:55Speaker 2: we give it over to him. Hallelujah. Verse twenty shall
- 16:06Speaker 2: even be repaid for good. Okay, I already did that
- 16:13Speaker 2: one verse twenty one, actually twenty one to twenty three.
- 16:21Speaker 2: As we finish this chapter out together, Amen, therefore, deliver
- 16:28Speaker 2: up their children to the famine and pour out their
- 16:33Speaker 2: blood who by the force of the sword. Let their
- 16:39Speaker 2: wives become widows and bereave of their children. Let their
- 16:46Speaker 2: men be put to death, the young men be slain
- 16:50Speaker 2: by the sword in battle. Let a cry be heard
- 16:55Speaker 2: from their houses. Then you bring a troop suddenly above them,
- 17:01Speaker 2: For they have dug a pit to take me, to
- 17:06Speaker 2: take me, and hidden snares for my feet. Yet, Lord,
- 17:12Speaker 2: you know all their counsel which is against me to
- 17:17Speaker 2: slay me. Provide no atonement for their iniquity, nor blot
- 17:23Speaker 2: out their sin from your sight. But let them be
- 17:30Speaker 2: over thrown before you deal thus with them in the
- 17:36Speaker 2: time of your anger. I'll tell you what I never, never, ever, ever,
- 17:45Speaker 2: never ever want a pastor or a Christian or anyone
- 17:53Speaker 2: to pray a prayer like that against me. Wow, this
- 17:56Speaker 2: is deep. Let's break it down, because this becomes very intense. Right,
- 18:04Speaker 2: Jeremiah asks God to allow judgment to come up on
- 18:07Speaker 2: those who he was trying to help at one point,
- 18:14Speaker 2: but now they are attacking him. He asked God not
- 18:20Speaker 2: to forgive their iniquity and not to overlook their sin.
- 18:25Speaker 2: This is deep. That is judgment right there. This is
- 18:33Speaker 2: tough and in the New Testament, Jesus doesn't encourage us
- 18:38Speaker 2: to pray this way. He tells us to love our enemies,
- 18:42Speaker 2: pray for those who persecute us and spitefully use us. Right,
- 18:49Speaker 2: but look at the prophet. This shows you that he
- 18:51Speaker 2: is human. He's not like superman or anything like that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But this is one of those passages we shouldn't rush pass.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Jeremiah is angry at this point. I mean, can we
- 19:05Speaker 2: blame him? They're trying to take his life. He's wounded
- 19:10Speaker 2: by the very people he loved and tried to help.
- 19:13Speaker 2: He He's asking God to deal with his enemies. Now.
- 19:23Speaker 2: The prophet, like I said, is very human. He has
- 19:27Speaker 2: very human emotions. If this is an emotional response to persecution,
- 19:33Speaker 2: Jeremiah is not hiding his feelings from God, which God
- 19:39Speaker 2: can handle. That a man. God loves it when we
- 19:43Speaker 2: are real, upfront and honest with him. His prayer reveals
- 19:48Speaker 2: the tremendous pressure and hostility he was experiencing as he
- 19:55Speaker 2: faithfully delivered Guy's message. Have you ever faced hostility and
- 20:03Speaker 2: pressure because of the word of God? Amen? Like I said,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I just experienced this over the weekend in Michigan with family. Now,
- 20:19Speaker 2: this is where we need to be honest. Sometimes Christians
- 20:23Speaker 2: think we're supposed to pretend we're never angry, and living
- 20:32Speaker 2: a life like that is not realistic at all. There
- 20:36Speaker 2: are times when people hurt us deeply. There are times
- 20:41Speaker 2: when injustice makes us angry. When I think about abortion,
- 20:46Speaker 2: that makes me angry. When you're supposed to be safe
- 20:51Speaker 2: in the mother's womb and you're not. Right now, there
- 20:59Speaker 2: are times when you don't know what to do with
- 21:07Speaker 2: our emotions. Right, with the way that we're feeling our anger,
- 21:14Speaker 2: Jeremiah shows us something that is very important here. He
- 21:17Speaker 2: took those emotions straight to God. You know, the Bible
- 21:21Speaker 2: tells us to be angry, but sin not in our anger. Right.
- 21:28Speaker 2: So I asked a question, when does anger become sinful?
- 21:31Speaker 2: When it turns into bitterness and hardness of heart? And
- 21:35Speaker 2: when we try to protect ourselves when and not allow
- 21:39Speaker 2: God to protect us. So he took those emotions to God.
- 21:44Speaker 2: He didn't have to hide from God at all. God
- 21:47Speaker 2: sees it anyway. But here, here's where I want to
- 21:55Speaker 2: challenge all of us. There is a difference between God,
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm hurt, Please deal with this, and God, I want revenge.
- 22:08Speaker 2: We have to be careful. It's okay to tell God
- 22:11Speaker 2: you're angry, and so kay to tell God that you're hurt.
- 22:15Speaker 2: But ultimately, justice belongs to God. We have to surrender
- 22:24Speaker 2: the outcome to him and He will come through each
- 22:29Speaker 2: and every time. Amen. Now what we take from this
- 22:36Speaker 2: is take your pin to God. Jeremiah eighteen eighteen through
- 22:41Speaker 2: twenty three teaches us several things here. Doing God's will
- 22:46Speaker 2: doesn't mean everyone will like you. I'm a witness say
- 22:52Speaker 2: that Jeremiah was faithful and people still opposed him. People
- 23:00Speaker 2: may attack the messenger instead of accepting the message. Don't
- 23:05Speaker 2: allow that to make you abandon the truth or give
- 23:09Speaker 2: up on the calling and assignment that God has called
- 23:13Speaker 2: you to. You can bring your honest emotions to God.
- 23:19Speaker 2: God already knows what's in your heart anyway, He's just
- 23:24Speaker 2: waiting for us to confess it. It's very important to
- 23:27Speaker 2: confess the truth before God. Amen. Don't let hurt become hatred.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Protect and guard your heart. Give your anger over to God.
- 23:40Speaker 2: The Bible says, guard your heart with all diligence. Out
- 23:43Speaker 2: of it are the issues of life. I ask the
- 23:46Speaker 2: Holy Spirit to help you to cleanse your heart and
- 23:50Speaker 2: mind and to guard it against bitterness and hardness of heart.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Allow God to handle injustice. You don't have to be
- 24:00Speaker 2: come the judge, jury and executioner. All that belongs to God.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Like I said, if you like me or not, it's
- 24:08Speaker 2: none of my business, a man, So why even worry
- 24:13Speaker 2: about it. Just focus on being faithful to the Word
- 24:21Speaker 2: and following God. Isn't always comfortable. Faithfulness sometimes comes with
- 24:27Speaker 2: a cost, but it's always worth it. Hey man, It's
- 24:34Speaker 2: always worth it to be faithful to the call that
- 24:40Speaker 2: God is giving you another one. All right, love it.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Let's take a quick break into the.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Light of Las Vegas. This is the hiss Hop radio show.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Minor.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Vigelani, I go to a wolf of my daughter.
- 25:01Speaker 3: They know that this bigger ain't me, it's bigger than me.

- 25:14Speaker 2: gonna stitch to that. I can't get him. I got
- 25:24Speaker 2: these up. Its just bigger in me.
- 25:28Speaker 5: I might get present, but I cannot.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I got a sister of cool figured in me.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Shut up. It's one I can't let her right.
- 25:38Speaker 5: But they ain't your family.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Don't give it off brush hat I got, I paint

- 25:42Speaker 2: You gotta switch up drifting from hold that No, that
- 25:44Speaker 2: all that head and that.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I ain't got that shift up.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Hey, it's superstaring. No God gonna flip us side. I said,
- 25:49Speaker 2: we live like it is it mister spirit is.
- 25:51Speaker 3: In his spirits.
- 25:52Speaker 4: And as if God summer from my hunter and then
- 25:55Speaker 4: gets on living, ain't I'm gonna pro start to hustle
- 25:58Speaker 4: in the morning from sun up to sundowners. In this man,
- 26:00Speaker 4: it's the village. I'm a Sola wonder. Realers can't get
- 26:03Speaker 4: caught up.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Within those billions.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Get the Winston on living shifting my perspect it's going

- 26:11Speaker 2: And ain't know that it's bigger.
- 26:12Speaker 3: It ain't me. I cannot cut a hoo because I'm
- 26:15Speaker 3: the lady depending on me. Yeah, I had to thought
- 26:19Speaker 3: out the fact as I know, I can't do it alone.
- 26:22Speaker 5: We don't man now, we ain't too long, so you
- 26:24Speaker 5: ain't no where you're gonna stay to the.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I can't get me.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I got these others just bigging in me. I don't
- 26:38Speaker 2: get rich out.

- 30:11Speaker 2: Accountability Partner segment. This podcast is for those who are
- 30:17Speaker 2: walking the narrow path. The Bible tells us that the
- 30:20Speaker 2: narrow path leads to life, the broad road leads to destruction.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And so we want to give you some tunes, some
- 30:28Speaker 2: to listen to, something to encourage you. And also it
- 30:32Speaker 2: is good to having somebody you could call, you could
- 30:35Speaker 2: pray with, and you can share your heart and they
- 30:40Speaker 2: can correct you. They can tell you, you know what,
- 30:43Speaker 2: that is not the will of God. You need to
- 30:46Speaker 2: go back and pray, or need to go look up
- 30:48Speaker 2: the Word and things like that, and I believe that
- 30:52Speaker 2: it will be a blessing. That's what we do when
- 30:55Speaker 2: we log into the life chat. We are building an
- 30:58Speaker 2: unline community almost like it tipleship, but we're doing it
- 31:02Speaker 2: online helping each other stay faithful to the Word. And
- 31:07Speaker 2: so the accountability partner challenge we do every day right
- 31:13Speaker 2: well Monday through Saturday at least, is we want you
- 31:15Speaker 2: to call your accountability partner. We give you certain topics
- 31:20Speaker 2: that you can talk about. And today challenge is ask
- 31:24Speaker 2: your partner, how do I normally respond when someone hurts
- 31:28Speaker 2: me or turns against me? Let's ask it in again.
- 31:33Speaker 2: How do I normally respond when somebody hurts me or
- 31:37Speaker 2: turns against me? Are we quick to forgive or do
- 31:41Speaker 2: we hold on to grudges? Do I normally retaliate or
- 31:47Speaker 2: do I shut down and just cut the person off?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Or do we pray? Have an honest conversation. The goal
- 32:00Speaker 2: isn't to judge each other. The goal is to recognize
- 32:04Speaker 2: how we respond under pressure and allow God to reshape
- 32:09Speaker 2: our response and man allow God to change us if
- 32:14Speaker 2: we need to be changed. Amen. Also, I want to
- 32:19Speaker 2: let you know that his Hot Radio is a monitored
- 32:21Speaker 2: and a recording radio station. We don't just play music
- 32:25Speaker 2: over the internet. We report it. We collect your information.

- 33:25Speaker 2: fingers ready, head on over to the live chat. Let's
- 33:29Speaker 2: see who is going to be the trivia champion for today.
- 33:32Speaker 2: A brother Zone three has been holding it down. Every
- 33:37Speaker 2: once in a while, Missus his Hot tries to come
- 33:39Speaker 2: in here and think she's doing something and then she
- 33:42Speaker 2: kind of falls off, so we give it to Zone.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I'm serious, brother, we gotta like think of something to
- 33:50Speaker 2: do at the end of the year for being a
- 33:52Speaker 2: trivia champ for so long. But the way it works
- 33:55Speaker 2: is once you go over the question, if you are
- 33:59Speaker 2: the first supposed to answer, you or the trivia champion
- 34:02Speaker 2: for the day. And of course my wife said, you
- 34:06Speaker 2: know what, let's make these questions more challenging. So we've
- 34:10Speaker 2: been in the process of doing that as well. So
- 34:15Speaker 2: the question for today is this, it's time to get
- 34:26Speaker 2: into the scriptures. Like before, I'm giving you the scripture
- 34:32Speaker 2: references so you can look it up yourself. Jeremiah eighteen eighteen.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Read the entire verse carefully, then answer this question. What
- 34:44Speaker 2: three groups of spiritual or community leaders did Jeremiah's enemies
- 34:51Speaker 2: say would still provide instruction if they succeeding in getting
- 34:57Speaker 2: rid of him? Right, they're basically saying, we can replace
- 35:02Speaker 2: you with everybody else. We're about to kill you. This
- 35:06Speaker 2: is deep, So let me ask a question again. What
- 35:15Speaker 2: three groups of spiritual or community leaders did Jeremiah's enemy
- 35:20Speaker 2: say would still provide instruction if they succeeded in getting
- 35:25Speaker 2: rid of the prophet. The first answer becomes the trivia
- 35:34Speaker 2: champion for today. All right, now, I'm going to give
- 35:42Speaker 2: you a community shout out, a community update. We just
- 35:48Speaker 2: got booked to do an event September twelfth. This will
- 35:52Speaker 2: be at the Doolittle Center. If you're from Vegas, you
- 35:54Speaker 2: know where that's at off the West side we believe,
- 35:58Speaker 2: I mean the wide off the West side over there there.
- 36:01Speaker 2: We I have a heart for that side of town,
- 36:04Speaker 2: that community over there, and we get to do an event.
- 36:07Speaker 2: We get to dj a We're gonna partner with other
- 36:11Speaker 2: ministries and they're gonna be there's gonna be giveaways and
- 36:15Speaker 2: people are gonna you know, present the gospel. It's gonna
- 36:19Speaker 2: be a community outreach. It's supposed to be an all
- 36:23Speaker 2: day thing. So make sure if you're a Vegas your market,
- 36:28Speaker 2: your calendars coming out and help us with that. August
- 36:32Speaker 2: twenty ninth is gonna be the event at the Resort World,
- 36:36Speaker 2: uh where. It's gonna be a business mixing event, a
- 36:39Speaker 2: business mixer. We're gonna be DJing that as well. I'm
- 36:43Speaker 2: also going to bring the podcast over there. So and
- 36:46Speaker 2: it's a free event. If you're in business or thinking
- 36:49Speaker 2: about starting a business, we're asking you to go ahead
- 36:54Speaker 2: and come on out because your net worth is directly
- 37:00Speaker 2: high to your network. You know, we need a network
- 37:02Speaker 2: and partner with people to help us get to the
- 37:07Speaker 2: next level. And God has provided that for us. So,
- 37:11Speaker 2: hey man, that is a blessing there. And also what
- 37:23Speaker 2: we want to let you know is that His Hot
- 37:27Speaker 2: Nation is a monitorman at five oh one C. Three.
- 37:34Speaker 2: We are a nonprofit organization. We open Club His Hot
- 37:39Speaker 2: back in twenty twelve and we're looking to relaunch or
- 37:42Speaker 2: reopen the club, but we're looking for support from our family.
- 37:47Speaker 2: You know, it takes finances to do this thing. It's
- 37:50Speaker 2: a step of faith. We were able to hold it
- 37:53Speaker 2: down for seven years, but at twenty eighteen we had
- 37:57Speaker 2: to relocate. We had to well actually they the building.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Things happen inwardly to where we were not able to
- 38:07Speaker 2: sustain the building. But now we are a nonprofit organization.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We're looking for grants. We're looking for sponsors. We're looking
- 38:15Speaker 2: for donors, monthly donor supporters. Anything helps two dollars five
- 38:21Speaker 2: dollars a month helps us raise the funds and need
- 38:25Speaker 2: it to support and sustain we're looking for a new building.
- 38:30Speaker 2: We also have youth programs and we need a spot.
- 38:33Speaker 2: We need a headquarters to manifest all these things into
- 38:38Speaker 2: the community. If you think that our community could use
- 38:42Speaker 2: another club his Hot and the things that we have
- 38:45Speaker 2: to offer, then on over to our website his hot
- 38:49Speaker 2: Nation dot com. You can donate there. You can donate
- 38:52Speaker 2: on the app his Hot radio and all platforms, or
- 38:56Speaker 2: you can also on our nonprofit website that is his
- 39:03Speaker 2: Hot Nation dot org RG. And the great thing about
- 39:10Speaker 2: it is that it is tax deductible. You can write
- 39:14Speaker 2: it off if you're looking for or tax right off
- 39:17Speaker 2: if you're looking to So it's a good ground. This
- 39:21Speaker 2: is the place for you. Amn hallelujah, but love it.
- 39:28Speaker 2: That is my time. But before we get out of here,
- 39:33Speaker 2: we have some closing remarks about Jeremiah chapter eighteen eighteen
- 39:42Speaker 2: through twenty three. Now, this is a real picture of
- 39:46Speaker 2: what happens when you stand for God, when you stand
- 39:52Speaker 2: in your faith for the Lord. Jeremiah was not looking
- 39:58Speaker 2: for trouble and he he was not trying to hurt
- 40:01Speaker 2: anybody at all. He was delivering the message that God
- 40:05Speaker 2: gave to him. And yet the people turned against him. Now,
- 40:10Speaker 2: that is a stray reminder that obedience doesn't guarantee acceptance.
- 40:17Speaker 2: People are not going to applaud you just because you
- 40:21Speaker 2: decided to serve God and fulfill the call of God
- 40:24Speaker 2: on your life. Sometimes doing the right thing will make
- 40:28Speaker 2: you unpopular. Sometimes telling the truth will cost you your relationships.
- 40:33Speaker 2: You can lose friends and you can lose relationships because
- 40:39Speaker 2: you want to say true and faithful to the word
- 40:43Speaker 2: of God. That's something that I'm going through right now
- 40:47Speaker 2: with a family member. Sometimes standing for God means standing alone.
- 40:53Speaker 2: But here is your encouragement. God sees you, He sees
- 40:57Speaker 2: what people don't see. He knows your heart, he knows
- 41:02Speaker 2: your motives, and he knows when you're trying to do
- 41:07Speaker 2: the right thing. So when people come against you, don't
- 41:11Speaker 2: become what you're fighting. Don't let their anger become your anger,
- 41:18Speaker 2: and don't let their bitterness become your bitterness. Don't let
- 41:23Speaker 2: their rejection make you stop loving people. Bring the situation
- 41:29Speaker 2: over to the Lord, pray about it, cry about it.
- 41:32Speaker 2: If you have to write, tell God the truth about
- 41:37Speaker 2: how you feel. Then let them handle the rest. Because
- 41:41Speaker 2: vengeance belongs to the Lord. Remember justice belongs to God.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Himself right. And our job is to remain faithful, keep
- 41:51Speaker 2: your heart clean, keep your hands clean, keep doing what
- 41:55Speaker 2: God has called you to do. I said, personally, it's
- 42:02Speaker 2: none of my business. If you don't like me, it's
- 42:04Speaker 2: none of my business. If you decide to come against me,
- 42:07Speaker 2: that's none of my business. If you want to see
- 42:11Speaker 2: me fail in life, and if you're praying for my downfalls,
- 42:17Speaker 2: none of my business. It belongs to the Lord. The
- 42:20Speaker 2: Lord fights my battles. God is a god of justice,
- 42:25Speaker 2: and God says in his very word that vengeance is mine.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I will repay, says the Lord. So don't sweat it
- 42:34Speaker 2: when people disrespect you. Don't sweat it when your children
- 42:40Speaker 2: are disobedient towards you. Don't sweat it. If your relationships
- 42:44Speaker 2: the closest relationships in your life, and they just want
- 42:47Speaker 2: to just come against you and take you for granted
- 42:51Speaker 2: and be disrespectful, because God himself is going to fight
- 42:56Speaker 2: for you. Our job is to pray for them and
- 42:59Speaker 2: to love them, and to pray that they'll get it
- 43:02Speaker 2: right before it is too late. A man, well, that's
- 43:07Speaker 2: my time, but love it. This is mister his hop.
- 43:09Speaker 2: You can find me on all social media platforms. Just
- 43:13Speaker 2: look up mister his Hop. If we want to know
- 43:17Speaker 2: more activities about what's going on in our ministry, check
- 43:20Speaker 2: us out on our website, his Hotnation dot com and
- 43:24Speaker 2: our nonprofit his Hot Nation dot ORRG. And of course
- 43:29Speaker 2: we want you to download that his Hot Radio app,
- 43:32Speaker 2: his HP and all platforms and get logged into the
- 43:36Speaker 2: live chat and make sure you kick all the tires
- 43:39Speaker 2: on the app. There's a lot on there that we
- 43:43Speaker 2: believe will be a blessing to everyone who downloads. And remember,
- 43:48Speaker 2: it's not about us, It's all about the Christ in us.
- 43:51Speaker 2: God bless y'all.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 44:04Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 44:07Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
- 44:12Speaker 1: H
