- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, my name is Caliss.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Of course you might know me better as Kevin from
- 0:05Speaker 2: American Pie or hen hen Ree re Roll.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Roman from Rookie of the Year.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I've got a band named after me, you know, because
- 0:15Speaker 2: I'm that full of myself. And I'm doing my first
- 0:17Speaker 2: ever Australian tour. It's called the American Pie em and
- 0:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna be kind of, you know, all around the
- 0:26Speaker 2: you know, Sydney and Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane so
- 0:32Speaker 2: and then Melbourne and then I'm going all the way
- 0:35Speaker 2: to the middle of nowhere to Cawra and then back
- 0:38Speaker 2: to the Sydney area over to Newcastle. So I think
- 0:41Speaker 2: there's like eight or nine shows. I lost count I
- 0:44Speaker 2: don't know, there's a lot of shows. I'm gonna be
- 0:46Speaker 2: showing the movie celebrating twenty five years of American Pie,
- 0:50Speaker 2: playing some live shows. The first show is with Whetest
- 0:53Speaker 2: in Sydney because they're on the dirt bags across Australia
- 0:57Speaker 2: tour and I saw that our dates lined up, so
- 0:59Speaker 2: I'm I'm doing one show opening for Weedis as the
- 1:01Speaker 2: start of my tour, and uh yeah, it's gonna be
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's gonna be a good time. We've got some emo
- 1:06Speaker 2: DJ sets doing one in Sydney at the Berdikin Hotel
- 1:10Speaker 2: for AMPM. So lots of good stuff happening, and if
- 1:14Speaker 2: you want to have the best night of your life,
- 1:18Speaker 2: you will get your ass to one of my shows.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Otherwise you're missing out.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Fantastic. Someone has probably the best intro I've ever had.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I've got no more questions for you because you just.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Answered everything for me. Goodness stake with you, brother.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah, man, thank you so much for dude.
- 1:37Speaker 2: For those of you watching this interview right now, you
- 1:39Speaker 2: have to know that Chris is the coolest guy that
- 1:43Speaker 2: I have not even met. This is the closest we've
- 1:45Speaker 2: gotten the meeting. We've just been emailing, and he's already
- 1:48Speaker 2: helped me more than someone who claims to be a manager.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Do you want to be my manager, Chris, because you
- 1:53Speaker 2: know you've already kind of done management.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Duties for me on this tour and we've only just
- 1:57Speaker 1: met a few days ago.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Will you be getting yourself in for and I would
- 2:00Speaker 3: get ourselves in a lot of trouble.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I'm Trump my middle name. You know the thing about
- 2:06Speaker 2: trouble is you just got to make sure you don't
- 2:08Speaker 2: get caught. Remember my distant cousin, so my great great
- 2:12Speaker 2: grandfather was Ned Kelly's uncle. So I've got trouble in
- 2:16Speaker 2: my blood.
- 2:17Speaker 4: You kidding me?
- 2:18Speaker 3: There?
- 2:18Speaker 4: Are you fed akin? You're not gonna tell us that?
- 2:24Speaker 1: What? Am I gonna tell you the truth about what.
- 2:27Speaker 4: They have been related to Ned Kelly?
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm serious. My great great grandfather was his uncle. And
- 2:34Speaker 2: in fact, Ned Kelly's friend, William Strickland, was arrested and
- 2:38Speaker 2: then released, and then he went to my family because
- 2:41Speaker 2: my grandmother was born in Fremantle. He went to Fremantle
- 2:45Speaker 2: and he lived as the recluse for the rest of
- 2:47Speaker 2: his life until nineteen fifty eight with my family.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So that was, yeah, dump stop.
- 2:53Speaker 4: If you're already you're already practiced forty in dude.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I mean, like I said, it's it's obviously it's a
- 2:58Speaker 2: it's a cousin's. But my grandmother's maiden name or last
- 3:03Speaker 2: name was Kelly.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Right there you go.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Well, in case anyone missed that fantastic intro from you,
- 3:12Speaker 3: maheat Thomas, I and Nicholas will be in Australia very soon.
- 3:16Speaker 3: American pie Emo Night celebrating twenty five years of the
- 3:19Speaker 3: greatest love story ever made studying in Sydney on January thirty.
- 3:23Speaker 3: First you go through Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, Parra,
- 3:27Speaker 3: finishing Newcastle on February the ninth flight. You say it's
- 3:30Speaker 3: going to be your first time here, made like, why
- 3:32Speaker 3: neglectus for so long? It's been on twenty five years, Pray.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Well, okay, it's not my first time to Australia. I
- 3:39Speaker 2: went to visit my family on the West Coast when
- 3:43Speaker 2: I was ten years old in nineteen ninety because my
- 3:46Speaker 2: grandmother was in Vaudeville in the early nineteen hundreds with
- 3:49Speaker 2: her two sisters. They were the Kelly sisters. So I
- 3:53Speaker 2: have been to Australia before. But I've been trying to
- 3:55Speaker 2: put together a tour in Australia since twenty sixteen, and
- 4:00Speaker 2: for whatever reason, things would fall apart and I just
- 4:03Speaker 2: wasn't gonna take no for an answer this time. I
- 4:05Speaker 2: don't want to bore you with the failures, the two
- 4:08Speaker 2: failures of this tour, and it almost didn't happen again,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and I just I picked up, picked myself up by
- 4:14Speaker 2: my bootstraps, and I was like, this is not going
- 4:17Speaker 2: down again. I'm getting over to Australia.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I mean sort of quickly randos through what you got
- 4:24Speaker 3: planned for us before, but got a little bit more detail,
- 4:27Speaker 3: like what the lives have you got for us?
- 4:29Speaker 2: And so well, the American Pie EMO Night consists of
- 4:33Speaker 2: three things. Uh, it's retro screenings of American Pie, It's
- 4:37Speaker 2: live shows, and then there's Emo DJ sets. So on
- 4:41Speaker 2: any given night of this tour, you're gonna get one
- 4:44Speaker 2: of those three things. Sometimes you're gonna get all three
- 4:47Speaker 2: of those things. So like for instance, the night with
- 4:52Speaker 2: or sometimes you just get Yeah, like I said, one
- 4:54Speaker 2: when I open for Whetis, I'm just playing a live show,
- 4:57Speaker 2: and then the next night movie Nerds is hosting a screening,
- 5:00Speaker 2: will be a screening in a Q and A. Then
- 5:02Speaker 2: I do just a DJ set the next night, and
- 5:04Speaker 2: then at Moe's in the Gold Coast in Burly Heads,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'm doing all three, so we're gonna watch the movie,
- 5:11Speaker 2: then a live show from my band, and then a djson.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That's the same with uh with Moe's in Gold Coast
- 5:19Speaker 2: and then in Newcastle at Hamilton Station, We're doing all three.
- 5:23Speaker 2: The rest of them are like I said, screening events
- 5:25Speaker 2: in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Melbourne as well.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I want to pick the right one to come to you.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yes you did, you got you got the whole shebang, Chris.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Oh, and say you got me for four hours?
- 5:37Speaker 1: That's right? For how many beers do you think you
- 5:40Speaker 1: can drink in four hours?
- 5:43Speaker 4: I haven't got that many fingers. Brother, we're gonna be.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Trying to catch up with Jarrett from Bowling for soup.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I think the Coast well, I'm saying, uh, with how
- 5:54Speaker 1: many beers we drink.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And we'll send it to him be by beer.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah, So you celebrate in twenty five years of American five?
- 6:05Speaker 5: Right?
- 6:05Speaker 4: So what does the movie mean to you now? Twenty
- 6:09Speaker 4: five years on?
- 6:11Speaker 2: Man, it's it's really a highlight moment for me that
- 6:16Speaker 2: has opened up so many doors. I mean, here I
- 6:19Speaker 2: am twenty five years later and the success of this
- 6:23Speaker 2: billion dollar franchise is giving me the opportunity to come
- 6:26Speaker 2: and toward Australia. So the doors that it opens for
- 6:30Speaker 2: me just continue to happen.
- 6:34Speaker 1: And I'm so thankful.
- 6:36Speaker 3: And I've got Asti bry like back in the casting side,
- 6:39Speaker 3: spear One that you got the role with Kevin not
- 6:41Speaker 3: Jim's side he gets to make out with Nadia.
- 6:45Speaker 1: No, because I didn't have to have the love story
- 6:47Speaker 1: with the pie.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I was okay with with my role as Kevin, and
- 6:52Speaker 2: I was okay with being the chef of Stiffler's.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Pale ale as opposed to the customer.
- 7:01Speaker 4: He could.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Mentioned a love story with the pie ride like, I'm
- 7:06Speaker 3: sure you sort of spiked me on these lobside of
- 7:07Speaker 3: the years. But when that when you first found out
- 7:10Speaker 3: that was in the script, and when everyone actually knew
- 7:13Speaker 3: it there's gonna be pie fucking going on?
- 7:16Speaker 4: What was the reaction?
- 7:18Speaker 1: You know? For me?
- 7:20Speaker 2: So I had my initial reaction was actually way worse
- 7:24Speaker 2: than you could think. The first scene in the movie
- 7:27Speaker 2: was Kevin and Vicky, not Jim and his sock puppet.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It was Vicky instructing Kevin on which way to use
- 7:37Speaker 2: his fingers. We'll let you put the rest of the
- 7:40Speaker 2: the scene together in your own mind. And so I
- 7:43Speaker 2: threw the script in the trash, called my agent and
- 7:45Speaker 2: I said, why are sending me porn? So later when
- 7:49Speaker 2: they offered it to to my my friend Andrew Keegan,
- 7:53Speaker 2: but he was doing ten Things I Hate about You
- 7:55Speaker 2: with Heath Ledger.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Another legend may he rest in peace also from per
- 8:01Speaker 1: And so when he.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Couldn't do it, they came back to me and I said,
- 8:06Speaker 2: I would read the whole script. Now, when I read
- 8:08Speaker 2: the whole script, I realized that the characters had so
- 8:12Speaker 2: much more heart, There was so much more to the story,
- 8:16Speaker 2: so that by the time you get to the quote
- 8:18Speaker 2: unquote pie scene, you're already so invested in the characters that, yes,
- 8:23Speaker 2: it does become the thing you walk away with, but it,
- 8:27Speaker 2: you know, I just was I.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Think I was probably just bad. I didn't have to
- 8:31Speaker 1: do that scene.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I have Did he do that?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Say, like, did he was there any like special effects
- 8:38Speaker 3: and ankles got on there? Or did he actually fordicate
- 8:41Speaker 3: with a pie?
- 8:43Speaker 2: I mean, I think he took it to dinner first,
- 8:45Speaker 2: because you know, Jason's a nice guy.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But you know, we weren't. We weren't there for the
- 8:50Speaker 1: filming of the scene.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And I'm sure if you, uh, you know, google search
- 8:54Speaker 2: that you could, I bet you could find Jason talking
- 8:56Speaker 2: about how they did it, because they did shoot it
- 8:59Speaker 2: two ways, one one standing and the other on the countertop.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You know, I'm not going to go into many more
- 9:08Speaker 3: questions about American pie might because I just Q and
- 9:11Speaker 3: I using the shows and people can ask you themselves,
- 9:13Speaker 3: because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. And Babe,
- 9:16Speaker 3: we're actually a music magazine, so he'd better start talking
- 9:18Speaker 3: a bit of music.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Well, we hear, here's the crossover for you.
- 9:24Speaker 2: How about the crossover of my band having a song
- 9:29Speaker 2: on the soundtrack album of the fourth American Pie American Reunion.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Well, tell us about that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Well, I technically had my band and tried to get
- 9:40Speaker 2: a song on each and every soundtrack. It just didn't
- 9:44Speaker 2: come together until the fourth one. But if you if
- 9:46Speaker 2: you can't tell by now, you might start to realize
- 9:49Speaker 2: that I'm the type of person that doesn't give up
- 9:52Speaker 2: too easily. In fact, they never give up. So when
- 9:55Speaker 2: I want to go some something with my one of
- 9:59Speaker 2: my with music or acting, I just keep aiming for it,
- 10:03Speaker 2: and eventually I get there, even if it takes me
- 10:05Speaker 2: thirteen years, there's twenty years whatever. That particular song landed
- 10:11Speaker 2: in there because I didn't just I kept asking them
- 10:14Speaker 2: for the favor and they kept telling me yes on one,
- 10:17Speaker 2: two and wedding, And then by the time I did
- 10:20Speaker 2: the fourth one, I was like, you know what, I
- 10:22Speaker 2: keep asking for the favor. They keep telling me yes,
- 10:25Speaker 2: but then they don't follow through. So I basically figured
- 10:29Speaker 2: out a way to play the rap party, and when
- 10:32Speaker 2: I played a live show, that's how I won everyone over.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So if that doesn't give you an indication as to
- 10:39Speaker 2: how good my live shows are, I don't know what
- 10:41Speaker 2: to tell you.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And you are a bona fide band as well, Brian,
- 10:45Speaker 3: like you've had seven albums out, they have it, Dude,
- 10:48Speaker 3: how much of a difference to you created a Mike
- 10:50Speaker 3: having the song on the soundtrack?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Law? Did that jump it massively?
- 10:55Speaker 2: I mean, obviously that song has a lot of plays,
- 10:57Speaker 2: like digitally on Spotify and all that stuff, but a
- 11:02Speaker 2: lot of that is to do with American Pie fans,
- 11:05Speaker 2: so it didn't really launch things.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I would say that the biggest.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Launch for my music career came a couple of years
- 11:12Speaker 2: ago when I became friends with Jarrett Reddick from Bowling
- 11:15Speaker 2: for Soup. We did a retro screening event for his podcast,
- 11:20Speaker 2: Jarrett Goes to the Movies, and we watched American Pie
- 11:23Speaker 2: with a live audience, and I had worked it out
- 11:25Speaker 2: with him to play a show at the end of
- 11:28Speaker 2: the Q and A and the podcast So when we
- 11:31Speaker 2: did Jarrett saying nineteen eighty five, and when he got
- 11:36Speaker 2: to like the second verse, he goes, you know, we're
- 11:39Speaker 2: feeling all sorts of nostalgia just having watched American Pie.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Was let's sing lyrics about American Pie instead. So on
- 11:47Speaker 2: the fly we started like vamping lyrics and improving them,
- 11:52Speaker 2: and I think it like ended with you know, I
- 11:56Speaker 2: said something like, you know, Finch could get his vest
- 11:59Speaker 2: but started and then me from like the podcast goes,
- 12:01Speaker 2: and then somebody started, and like that's pretty much where
- 12:04Speaker 2: we broke up into laughter. And I walked away from
- 12:07Speaker 2: that event, you know, the next day with a big hangover,
- 12:11Speaker 2: and I was like the hangover I didn't deserve. And
- 12:15Speaker 2: I texted Jarrett said, man, I think this, this might
- 12:19Speaker 2: be like a good parody. I texted him a bunch
- 12:22Speaker 2: of lyrics, and he goes, let's make a TikTok video.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So when I like six months later, I opened for
- 12:29Speaker 2: him and Rob in Baltimore and I recorded the TikTok
- 12:34Speaker 2: video by myself in the hotel room. It got half
- 12:37Speaker 2: a million views, and then Jarrett goes, come to Dallas,
- 12:42Speaker 2: let's record the song. So I like worked on the
- 12:45Speaker 2: lyrics with Jarrett. So this might be the only time
- 12:49Speaker 2: that a.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Band has ever done a parody. Am I still in there?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Did my call? Mess me up? All right? Sorry, my
- 12:57Speaker 1: drummer has just landed in Canada and he's called me,
- 13:01Speaker 1: so it's like I'm in an interview. Shut up.
- 13:07Speaker 2: So yeah, this might be the only time that a
- 13:08Speaker 2: band has ever written a parody with the band they're
- 13:11Speaker 2: doing the parody of, and then recorded it with the
- 13:13Speaker 2: band that I.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Was doing the parody of.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So it's just you know, sort of art imitating life,
- 13:19Speaker 2: life imitating art, so to speak.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Fantastic.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And then for those who might not be too familiar
- 13:23Speaker 3: with your music, like yeah, yeah, sort of pop punky
- 13:26Speaker 3: song stuff like similar in the vein of Teenage dirt
- 13:29Speaker 3: Bag by Waitas you.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Know, I would say it's more along the lines of
- 13:34Speaker 2: like of Bowling for Soup. I mean, Watas has Teenage
- 13:37Speaker 2: dirt Bag. But even Brendan will tell you that that
- 13:40Speaker 2: that song sort of stands on its own, you know,
- 13:44Speaker 2: toward their other catalog stuff. I would say, you know,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I grew up with you know, like Lit and Green
- 13:50Speaker 2: Day and Blink point eighty two.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So I'm definitely in it.
- 13:54Speaker 2: From the seventh album that was produced by Taylor Carroll
- 13:58Speaker 2: from litt that I have features from Bowling for Soup
- 14:01Speaker 2: and Less than Jake doing the most pop punk that
- 14:05Speaker 2: I've ever sounded like.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Oh and when you are when you play any sets,
- 14:10Speaker 3: are they gonna be like one hour long set or
- 14:12Speaker 3: are you doing two forty minute sets?
- 14:14Speaker 2: At most, it'll be a ninety minute set.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I don't like to take breaks once I start.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Obviously, you know Whedist will be I'm opening, so that's
- 14:23Speaker 2: a half hour acoustic set, but Newcastle and MOS will
- 14:27Speaker 2: be ninety minutes. And then I think in camera I
- 14:30Speaker 2: might be doing something shorter because it is a festival.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I go.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Now, You've also been in recent music videos for Bringing
- 14:37Speaker 3: Me the Horizon and Eisneine Kills. So tell us that
- 14:40Speaker 3: that legitimizes you to all the metal paper Brian sell
- 14:42Speaker 3: us it down.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Then, uh, yeah, that's awesome.
- 14:45Speaker 2: So Spencer and Nadia are great, and then that's how
- 14:48Speaker 2: I kind of became friends with them a couple of
- 14:51Speaker 2: years ago.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I remember when they called me to be like.
- 14:55Speaker 2: First of all, to Bring Me the Horizon video was
- 14:57Speaker 2: rat And it turns out that American Pie is Allie
- 15:00Speaker 2: Syke's favorite movie, so he was stoked to have me there.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And then when Spencer asked me about doing the Eysteine thing,
- 15:07Speaker 2: I hadn't not even seen Terrifier. So when they're like,
- 15:10Speaker 2: you're gonna catch the baby, I'm like, I'm gonna do
- 15:13Speaker 2: you know what, I'll just I'll figure it out, and
- 15:16Speaker 2: I just like showed up and then you know, I
- 15:18Speaker 2: caught the baby.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Along those lines made We've actually got a I've got
- 15:25Speaker 3: a segment on started and called our photo bombs.
- 15:27Speaker 4: So basically, I'll trow you social media before we.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Talk, and I come up with a couple of photos
- 15:31Speaker 3: I want to ask you more about.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Oh geez, okay.
- 15:34Speaker 4: One of them was.
- 15:36Speaker 3: That fight I made like I got to stress here
- 15:38Speaker 3: that no babies were hurt in the making of this.
- 15:42Speaker 1: No, no babies were hurt in the making of that.
- 15:46Speaker 1: That is a a baby doll, so to speaks.
- 15:51Speaker 4: What's actually happening there? What are you juggling babies for?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Well? This is this is like the thing.
- 15:56Speaker 2: When Spencer told me about this, I was like, I'm
- 15:58Speaker 2: doing what And so my main goal was to just
- 16:02Speaker 2: not drop the baby, and I never dropped the baby,
- 16:06Speaker 2: but What's.
- 16:06Speaker 3: What's actually happening in the scene.
- 16:10Speaker 1: For those of you that haven't seen the eis nine
- 16:13Speaker 1: video for.
- 16:15Speaker 2: A work of art, which is in Terrifier three, this
- 16:19Speaker 2: is art essentially kills one of the main characters who's pregnant,
- 16:24Speaker 2: chokes her with the umbilical cord, carries the baby, but
- 16:27Speaker 2: as he's walking toward the stage, chucks the baby behind
- 16:31Speaker 2: him and I catch the baby. So at the end
- 16:35Speaker 2: of the video you hear the baby cry, which technically
- 16:38Speaker 2: means I could still be alive. So I've told Spencer
- 16:41Speaker 2: I'd like to be in the sequel, and he now
- 16:44Speaker 2: that as the new killer can chase me and the baby.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Man, it's a scoop right there for you. All right
- 16:52Speaker 5: in the second fight, I'm spoken about your relationship with
- 16:56Speaker 5: charried before, but when I found this fight, I had
- 16:59Speaker 5: said that he was just explaining the story about how
- 17:02Speaker 5: he is all my didn't become friends that story.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, yes, that So this is this. Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 2: basically I'm an asshole and we almost didn't become friends. No,
- 17:17Speaker 2: So what happened is I got a call about doing
- 17:22Speaker 2: that podcast with Jarrett, the one I mentioned where we
- 17:25Speaker 2: came up with the exception of nineteen ninety nine, and
- 17:30Speaker 2: so I got the call about doing it. But at
- 17:32Speaker 2: the time, I had just finished my film Adverse, that
- 17:35Speaker 2: I produced and started and went head to head with
- 17:37Speaker 2: Mickey Rourke. So it was a very serious, dramatic film,
- 17:41Speaker 2: and I said, I'm not doing any nostalgia stuff right now,
- 17:45Speaker 2: So I do want to do the podcast, but I
- 17:47Speaker 2: got to do it after Lionsgate finishes my.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Press tour for Adverse.
- 17:53Speaker 2: So the only thing that Jarrett heard from his team was, Hey,
- 17:58Speaker 2: Tom doesn't want to talk about it American Pie. So
- 18:02Speaker 2: he he went and did the podcast for Jared Goes
- 18:05Speaker 2: to the Movies. They watched American Pie and then he
- 18:07Speaker 2: talked about me being an asshole and not wanting to
- 18:09Speaker 2: talk about American Pie. And so then a few months later,
- 18:14Speaker 2: I was I was done with the press tour for Adverse,
- 18:16Speaker 2: the film and come out in theaters. So I was
- 18:19Speaker 2: touring around Texas and I got an offer to do
- 18:22Speaker 2: the podcast and he's like the owner of the venue
- 18:24Speaker 2: is like, oh, my friend is in a band and
- 18:26Speaker 2: he has this podcast, and it was Jared. So Jared
- 18:30Speaker 2: got the call about me doing like Jared Goes to
- 18:32Speaker 2: the movies with American Pie. He goes, what do you
- 18:34Speaker 2: mean that guy is? We ended up talking on the
- 18:36Speaker 2: phone he realized I'm I'm only like a I guess
- 18:41Speaker 2: the same type of athole as as that he likes
- 18:44Speaker 2: because I have stile. And then we became just very
- 18:48Speaker 2: very fast friends. And now his his wife, Casey, refers
- 18:52Speaker 2: to us as oil and oil.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Ah, that's fantastic. Thanks for that story, Busy, you got
- 19:00Speaker 4: shit to do, right.
- 19:01Speaker 3: But American Pie, well, American Pie. Am I not celebrating
- 19:04Speaker 3: twenty five years? American Pie hits astray very soon? Where
- 19:08Speaker 3: can people find out more information? Uh?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Tin band dot com, so tinband dot com or any
- 19:15Speaker 2: of your favorite socials.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Just at tin band.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I run everything myself, so if you want to pop
- 19:20Speaker 2: me a message, you can. I'll try to get back
- 19:23Speaker 2: to you. I'm a little busy at the moment because
- 19:25Speaker 2: I am touring in Canada, uh and then going straight
- 19:28Speaker 2: to Australia. So great routing, I know. But yeah, And
- 19:33Speaker 2: there's a VIP meet and greets at all these events
- 19:36Speaker 2: at tin band dot com forward slash vip, although the
- 19:40Speaker 2: movie Nerds ones that's on their site. So there's lots
- 19:43Speaker 2: of fun stuff happening, and some new announcements, with some
