- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to Air
- 0:05Speaker 1: on Air with a Ryan Seacrest. I don't know, excuse
- 0:11Speaker 1: I you know, I love to hear the different trends
- 0:14Speaker 1: in the styles and the things that people are talking about.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Wasn't there like Nana Chic or Nana Beach.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Or something something with Diane keatoncial Grandma, Yeah, we got
- 0:29Speaker 2: we got there eventually.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Now Ruby was saying, there's the latest trend. Now, you
- 0:36Speaker 1: tell me if you think I should do this. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't know if I show what's the latest trend now
- 0:40Speaker 1: after Coastal Grandma.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Dad's shirts are in.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Apparently they're the key to dressing effortlessly cool this spring.
- 0:47Speaker 4: And I've been actually thrifting a bunch of dad shirts
- 0:49Speaker 4: for a while.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Now.
- 0:50Speaker 1: What qualifies to be a so this for women dad shirts?
- 0:54Speaker 1: What qualifies to be a dad shirt?
- 0:55Speaker 4: It is an oversized button up shirt with like a collar.
- 0:59Speaker 4: So that's basically the effortless look of a dapt Hasn't.
- 1:03Speaker 1: That been a look over the course of the years.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I feel like I've seen that look in movies before.
- 1:07Speaker 3: For sure.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Go By.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like Julia Roberts would rock this look
- 1:11Speaker 4: like an effortless, like button up that just you kind
- 1:14Speaker 4: of throw it over. It's actually really good to use,
- 1:16Speaker 4: I think by the beach and pool.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Well, hold on for sec This is not just about
- 1:20Speaker 1: dad shirts. This is about everything from the nineties is back.
- 1:25Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what it is, like the video game,
- 1:28Speaker 1: the classic video games, the arcades, the shirts. Anything from
- 1:32Speaker 1: the nineties is back. And I think we said Julia Roberts,
- 1:35Speaker 1: there must have been movies where she was wearing Yes,
- 1:37Speaker 1: one of these shirts.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Lays comes back for sure.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Okay, so not a trend for me, This is a
- 1:43Speaker 1: trend for Cystanty and Tania Sysney. Was this something that
- 1:46Speaker 1: you think you would be part of the dad shirts?
- 1:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:49Speaker 7: And funny you say that because I actually got one
- 1:51Speaker 7: for Christmas from my aunt and I had it just
- 1:54Speaker 7: draped over the chair in our bedroom and Michael picked
- 1:58Speaker 7: it up the other day thinking that it was his shirt.
- 2:00Speaker 3: He's like, I do you realize that I got one
- 2:01Speaker 3: of these? I got this for Christmas.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I mean the other one that I hear about is
- 2:08Speaker 1: poet core. You know this is poet cor. You look
- 2:10Speaker 1: like a poet, like somebody that writes poetry. Right, you're
- 2:14Speaker 1: supposed to wear oversized sweaters and Jordan you've seen this before, right,
- 2:19Speaker 1: aspire to be that.
- 2:21Speaker 7: I don't know what they're called, but they're like the
- 2:23Speaker 7: parish looking hats that are kind of likes forraise.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yes, I can't, my hair's.
- 2:29Speaker 7: Too puffy to do so, but I aspire to wear
- 2:32Speaker 7: something like that.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Beret, oversized sweater, glasses, a laced collar like this is
- 2:37Speaker 1: the like goody goody two shoes. That's the look, right,
- 2:41Speaker 1: So that becomes cool everything that everything that was cool
- 2:46Speaker 1: looking is now no longer cool. Everything that was uncool
- 2:50Speaker 1: from the nineties is now cool. This is the way
- 2:52Speaker 1: I look at Oh. I can't try any of those trends.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I think it's all for y'all. Tany invited to a
- 2:57Speaker 1: birthday party on the invitation it had an end time,
- 3:00Speaker 1: it's a big deal time you, Uh.
- 3:01Speaker 8: It's not a big deal. But I've never been invited
- 3:03Speaker 8: with an end time before.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think I have invited you to things and said
- 3:07Speaker 1: when it's going to wrap up, haven't I No.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Usual when you used to throw like the Christmas parties
- 3:12Speaker 5: or the holiday parties, you would say starts at whatever time.
- 3:14Speaker 8: You did not give us an ending.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Well, I'm made a mistake, so my money. Kurt wanted
- 3:19Speaker 1: to come over for dinner a couple of nights ago,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and I was very clear. It wasn't like a formal inventation,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but in my text, I was very clear to say, hey,
- 3:27Speaker 1: i'll see at six thirty, you'll be home by eight.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I was just like really clear to set you'll be home,
- 3:33Speaker 1: not even like you'll be finished, meaning you'll be out
- 3:37Speaker 1: the door by seven thirty. I think, like I've done
- 3:39Speaker 1: that before with you guys said no, you just you
- 3:42Speaker 1: just wrap.
- 3:43Speaker 7: It up in the middle of us all hanging out
- 3:45Speaker 7: on your porch or your patios, and it's time to go.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to my pajam.
- 3:49Speaker 5: But I think I think an intimate dinner is different
- 3:53Speaker 5: than like a birthday party. I've never like, you know
- 3:55Speaker 5: what I mean, Like, I've never had an ending tok.
- 3:58Speaker 7: I put end times on an invitation just so people
- 4:01Speaker 7: don't get there super late, especially if you have things
- 4:03Speaker 7: that are happening like late, you're gonna miss the whatever.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I think framing the expectation is right, and then there's
- 4:10Speaker 1: no awkwardness when the music stops, the lights come on,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and people have to leave, like it's already predetermined.
- 4:15Speaker 5: I actually really appreciate it because the imitation was from
- 4:17Speaker 5: five to eight pm.
- 4:19Speaker 8: So we were like, yeah, we're like that's in our
- 4:21Speaker 8: we love that.
- 4:22Speaker 5: And then by seven fifteen we were like, we're not
- 4:24Speaker 5: really leaving that early because it's going to end in
- 4:25Speaker 5: forty five minutes anyway.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Can't They started at four thirty?
- 4:30Speaker 8: No.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I have friends they're like, all right, dude, are you
- 4:34Speaker 1: are you planning on coming to this? Because if you're coming,
- 4:37Speaker 1: we're going to start at thirty minutes earlier. And uh,
- 4:40Speaker 1: because they're just used to that whole vibe of like
- 4:44Speaker 1: get going because we've got to get up.
- 4:46Speaker 8: That's nice.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Such a bad thing. I know, it is very nice
- 4:49Speaker 1: of them. Of course I couldn't go.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you didn't show up, you know I did.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I showed up even before the early part. Let's go
- 4:56Speaker 1: to Witty or Sarah. How are you Sarah and Whittier
- 4:58Speaker 1: this morning?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Hi?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Good? Thank you good. So your cousin wants to buy
- 5:03Speaker 1: your car, but you're not sure you should sell it
- 5:06Speaker 1: to your cousin. What's the issue.
- 5:09Speaker 9: Well, it's a cheap. The problem is it's old, so
- 5:13Speaker 9: things tend to go wrong in old cars and she
- 5:17Speaker 9: gives me sixteen thousand for it, which is what it's worth,
- 5:20Speaker 9: and then something goes wrong. It's going to be awkward
- 5:24Speaker 9: and she might ask for her money back. Yes, and
- 5:26Speaker 9: it could really ruin a relationship and be like a
- 5:28Speaker 9: whole family thing.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So I think you're right. How do you tell her this?
- 5:34Speaker 9: I don't know, Like I kind of wanted to sell
- 5:35Speaker 9: out the car masks or Carvana and then I don't
- 5:37Speaker 9: have to deal with anything like that, you know.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think it's can't you just say you have a
- 5:42Speaker 1: house rule that you don't do business with family so
- 5:46Speaker 1: that it doesn't ever get awkward.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I mean that right there is going to make it awkward.
- 5:50Speaker 1: No, because it's not just she really wanted to buy it,
- 5:54Speaker 1: but you have a choice. What's worse just saying you've
- 5:58Speaker 1: got this rule that you you know that you always
- 6:00Speaker 1: stand by, or taking the risk and having it get
- 6:03Speaker 1: awkward if the car breaks down after you make the deal.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I think it's better just to be straightforward and say, look,
- 6:08Speaker 1: you don't want it to ever get uncomfortable out of
- 6:09Speaker 1: respect for your relationship as family, and you don't want
- 6:11Speaker 1: to make the deal. Okay, Yeah, it's it's either the
- 6:20Speaker 1: other way. It's definitely easier that way than the other way.
- 6:23Speaker 7: What can't you sign a contract or something like, hey,
- 6:26Speaker 7: else the car. If anything happens, you can't blame me
- 6:30Speaker 7: or be very transparent, like if there's anything ever been
- 6:32Speaker 7: issues with the car.
- 6:33Speaker 1: This is all the stuff you want to avoid with
- 6:35Speaker 1: family members, all of everything you just said.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, all right.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Sarah, anything else we can do. Good luck with the sale,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I think yourself.
- 6:47Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 6:49Speaker 1: If anything else, it shows it it's a hot commodity. Right,
- 6:51Speaker 1: cousin wants a car, somebody else gonna want the car. Okay, FM,
- 6:58Speaker 1: So I got a quote of the day. And if
- 6:59Speaker 1: you're on a app and it's not going well, it
- 7:01Speaker 1: could be your name. They really are pushing this the
- 7:05Speaker 1: most attractive names for men and women. They put these out,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and they did they put these out. These these names
- 7:12Speaker 1: get more tractions. So Michayla, see how they sound to you. Alex, Daniel, Lucas, Carlos, James,
- 7:21Speaker 1: those are the male names that get the most traction
- 7:23Speaker 1: on any of the dating apps.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Okay, Lucas the way, I don't think.
- 7:31Speaker 8: Lucas.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I will agree with Tanya. I try to avoid meeting
- 7:36Speaker 1: anyone named Lucas because they're always super hot.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But like Daniel, doesn't do anything for me.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Well, here are the women. Carlos the most swipes. These
- 7:45Speaker 1: women names get the most swipes. Whatever you do on
- 7:48Speaker 1: those things on dating apps, Maria, Laura, Anna, Sarah.
- 7:59Speaker 3: And Fia. I'll end with as, Is that true, Sophia, Yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: it is true.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You know what, Tony, I want to I want to
- 8:15Speaker 1: be Lucas some days too.
- 8:17Speaker 6: I know.
- 8:20Speaker 8: I could picture him as a Lucas.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Thank you, Lucas Seacrest. Oh my gosh, I'd be so dude.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Like yes, today's quote. Discipline is choosing between what you
- 8:32Speaker 1: want now and what you want most. Oh my gosh, yes,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest with you. Sisney's got the headlines? Now, what
- 8:41Speaker 1: do you have? FM headlines?
- 8:44Speaker 6: So.
- 8:44Speaker 7: A water pressure problem in Anaheim temporarily affected Disneyland, Angel
- 8:49Speaker 7: Stadium and nearby neighborhoods before service was restored. Later that night,
- 8:53Speaker 7: A mountain lion was caught on a home security camera
- 8:56Speaker 7: in a Monrovia backyard, reminding residents to keep pets inside
- 9:01Speaker 7: and stay alert. American Airlines briefly grounded flights across the
- 9:05Speaker 7: country because of a technology issue yesterday, but flights have
- 9:08Speaker 7: now resumed as the airline works to get back on
- 9:11Speaker 7: schedule and Marvel's.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Spider Man brand New Day is expected.
- 9:15Speaker 7: To have one of the biggest movie openings of the year,
- 9:19Speaker 7: with early projections put in its global debut at around
- 9:22Speaker 7: four hundred and twenty five million dollars.
- 9:29Speaker 1: One of two pointy seven Kiss FM. So, good morning, Nicole,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it's Ryan. How are you hi.
- 9:36Speaker 10: I'm good, all right.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So your fiance doesn't want to move in together after
- 9:41Speaker 1: you get married?
- 9:42Speaker 10: Yeah, so what getting married in August?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:47Speaker 10: And so I own a house in Norwalk. He owns
- 9:50Speaker 10: one in Linnwood. So naturally I assume that we would
- 9:53Speaker 10: sell one this summer and then move in together, because
- 9:56Speaker 10: like that's what married people do. So I brought it up,
- 10:02Speaker 10: and then he said we should keep both.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I think I'd want to live with the person I'm
- 10:06Speaker 1: marrying step right.
- 10:12Speaker 10: Well, at first, I thought like it sounded a little
- 10:13Speaker 10: bit practical. We both have really low interest rates, and
- 10:16Speaker 10: so he said we'd be kind of nuts to sell
- 10:18Speaker 10: right now, and so like fine, I get that, And
- 10:22Speaker 10: so then I said, what's your plan? Do you want
- 10:24Speaker 10: to rent one? Out and he said, no.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Okay, well that's the problem here. Again. I understand the
- 10:30Speaker 1: practical economics of it, but I just think that I
- 10:35Speaker 1: don't know if the person I'm going to marry doesn't
- 10:38Speaker 1: want to like be with me right away, I feel.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Like that's a bad first step, unless it's a different situation,
- 10:44Speaker 7: like if you guys have kids and they have to
- 10:46Speaker 7: finish school in their cities, then I could see that
- 10:49Speaker 7: making sense for those couple of years.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It's hard. Can you wait to get married?
- 10:55Speaker 10: Well, I mean we're supposed to get married in August.
- 11:00Speaker 3: That's already an next year. What's that gonna do?
- 11:04Speaker 1: I just think what you get married you're not living together,
- 11:06Speaker 1: could cause problems. Maybe being engaged in trying this is better.
- 11:11Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know. I mean he kind of just
- 11:13Speaker 10: feed around the bush about it and was being kind
- 11:15Speaker 10: of wishy washy. I was like, well, why would you
- 11:17Speaker 10: want to rent one out that feels like, you know,
- 11:19Speaker 10: good income, and he just said he didn't want to
- 11:21Speaker 10: like deal with tenants and like it's a headache or something.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm no expert on relationships and marriage, but I
- 11:28Speaker 1: think I would rather stay engaged and try this out
- 11:30Speaker 1: before married. Yeah, alien, Yeah, it's my sixteen cents.
- 11:38Speaker 10: Yeah, good luck, Nicole, thank you, thank you.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Bye. I think there's something more to that. Guys, be excited.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I was so excited when I saw other people getting
- 11:50Speaker 1: married that we're going to live together.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Merging everything.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, back with five hundred dollars and back to school
- 11:57Speaker 1: cash in this thing. So Sisany has a little detail
- 12:00Speaker 1: on this. But there's a guy this all over the
- 12:03Speaker 1: news here in La. There's a guy he's a landlord
- 12:06Speaker 1: in La who runs this apartment group and his rental
- 12:10Speaker 1: process is a bit wild. Instead of obsessing over your
- 12:14Speaker 1: credit card scores or the typical stuff, he screens potential
- 12:18Speaker 1: tenants by asking for their astrological signs. Yes, so, like
- 12:24Speaker 1: you roll in and you tell me you're a Leo
- 12:26Speaker 1: or a virgo. I don't know if that's good or
- 12:28Speaker 1: like what would be good? If I guess it's legal,
- 12:31Speaker 1: But if this were your filter, what would be good
- 12:34Speaker 1: signs you'd want to rent to?
- 12:36Speaker 7: Well, I don't know exactly when it comes down to,
- 12:39Speaker 7: like being a tenant based on your sign. But for him,
- 12:41Speaker 7: he says he has experience with this because he thinks
- 12:44Speaker 7: that you know, he loves Leo's, for example. He thinks
- 12:47Speaker 7: Leo's are self sufficient and so they make really good tenants.
- 12:51Speaker 7: And then apparently he is not a fan of Virgosh,
- 12:54Speaker 7: saying because he finds them to be nitpicky.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So we looked and he can do this. There's no
- 13:01Speaker 1: law that says he cannot do this. He describes it
- 13:04Speaker 1: as a vibe check. He claims his vibe check method works.
- 13:08Speaker 1: He can tell a lot by the person based on
- 13:10Speaker 1: the vibe, based on the sign, and he's only evicted
- 13:13Speaker 1: a few people in decades. Yeah, I mean, I don't
- 13:17Speaker 1: know if it works for him, and he can do it,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I guess why stop. But you know what if you
- 13:23Speaker 1: roll up in a listening to loud music and you're,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you know, a little bit seeming like a loud person,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you can't you can't do anything there. But I guess
- 13:35Speaker 1: you could ask. You can't say, nobody could ask for.
- 13:36Speaker 7: Their sign, sure their sign, and then you have all
- 13:40Speaker 7: the other information on the person.
- 13:41Speaker 3: So I think at the end of the day, you
- 13:43Speaker 3: just make the best decision. It's going to work. His
- 13:44Speaker 3: apartments are really cool.
- 13:45Speaker 7: Actually, I was looking them up and they're all like
- 13:47Speaker 7: historical apartments that famous celebrities lived in like the thirties
- 13:51Speaker 7: and forties, and like they're they've been obviously like some
- 13:53Speaker 7: of them restored and whatnot. And so I can see
- 13:56Speaker 7: why he wants to really like find the perfect tenant
- 13:58Speaker 7: because he doesn't want anybody like track these places. But
- 14:03Speaker 7: I actually thought it was a genius idea when I
- 14:05Speaker 7: read this.
- 14:06Speaker 1: In what city in La was your first rental?
- 14:10Speaker 7: It was in Studio City and Tanya Sherman oaks mine
- 14:16Speaker 7: right down the street, right.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Down the street, Park Point Burbank. I think Mario Lopez's
- 14:21Speaker 1: picture is still up in the rental office that. Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I was soap operas and Mario Lopez living in that
- 14:29Speaker 1: apartment complex. It was so cool to see them sometimes
- 14:32Speaker 1: on P one. So all right, we were talking about
- 14:34Speaker 1: this La landlord who runs our deco apartments and instead
- 14:38Speaker 1: of focusing on credit scores or resumes, he screens potential
- 14:42Speaker 1: tenants by asking for their astrological signs. This is totally legal,
- 14:46Speaker 1: we checked on it. He's convinced that certain signs make
- 14:49Speaker 1: better neighbors. Right, he's in the Vibes's business.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 14:53Speaker 1: So he loves Leo's because he thinks Leo's are self sufficient.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Apparently he's not a fan of virgos. He finds them
- 15:00Speaker 1: to be nitpicky and he doesn't want to deal with
- 15:02Speaker 1: their headaches. So I think Jane is or was a
- 15:07Speaker 1: tenant of this Landlords Jane in Los Feels. So you
- 15:11Speaker 1: lived in the Zodiac Landlords building?
- 15:14Speaker 6: I sure did, with art deco, Dave.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Art deco Dave. All right, and how was it? Did
- 15:20Speaker 1: this screening process of signs make for a good living environment?
- 15:25Speaker 6: I felt like, you know, it was like pretty chill.
- 15:28Speaker 6: There was like a lot of women with dogs, and
- 15:31Speaker 6: we all got along. It wasn't really upfront that he
- 15:35Speaker 6: uses your zodiac sign, but then it was like a
- 15:38Speaker 6: rumor within everyone. And then once we finally moved out,
- 15:42Speaker 6: he did ask me what my zodiac sign was and
- 15:45Speaker 6: my part and my.
- 15:46Speaker 7: Husband, Wow, he did, and what signs are are you guys?
- 15:53Speaker 6: I am a cancer, which he loves because he said
- 15:56Speaker 6: you were very nurturing and we take care of the home.
- 15:59Speaker 6: And then he asked what my husband was, and my
- 16:02Speaker 6: husband is a Gemini, which he doesn't like. And I
- 16:06Speaker 6: asked him why it's so much Gemini flander and he
- 16:09Speaker 6: said because his ex wife was a Semini.
- 16:16Speaker 1: But it worked out. You enjoyed your experience.
- 16:20Speaker 6: I mean it work. I kind of knew what kind
- 16:23Speaker 6: of person he was. I mean, his buildings are really beautiful.
- 16:27Speaker 6: The tenant clause is like really strict, so I made
- 16:31Speaker 6: sure not to ruffle his feathers and we got along well.
- 16:34Speaker 6: But I knew he could be, you know, just like
- 16:37Speaker 6: difficult at times for a protective of his building. But
- 16:42Speaker 6: I cannot unscathed.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You did got it all right? Well we'll see. We
- 16:45Speaker 1: thought there was a very unique story about him. Thank
- 16:48Speaker 1: you for listening. Jane. I'm glad you're unscathed from the event.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 16:54Speaker 1: You take care of bye bye you. Landlord there taking
- 16:59Speaker 1: his tenants based on their signs doesn't want to deal
- 17:01Speaker 1: with the headaches of nitpicky people. On air with Ryan Seacrest,
- 17:08Speaker 1: now Sophia since college, she met a guy on Halloween.
- 17:13Speaker 1: They have been hanging out quite a bit. Actually we
- 17:16Speaker 1: call him Skeletor because that's what he was dressed as,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and they've been in the gray area for about two months.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I think he's not great to exist in the gray area,
- 17:26Speaker 1: but my view is, as long as you're not pushing it,
- 17:29Speaker 1: he's not going to bring it up. What are the
- 17:30Speaker 1: red flags sisant tany we should listen this. What are
- 17:33Speaker 1: the red flags you've seen, Sophia And are they symbolic?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Are they significant?
- 17:38Speaker 11: Okay, I've noticed that this one's kind of in the middle.
- 17:41Speaker 11: But he doesn't use any social media, Like he has
- 17:45Speaker 11: an Instagram account, but he tells me I don't have
- 17:47Speaker 11: notifications on. And he also never sees my stories or
- 17:50Speaker 11: likes my pos and.
- 17:52Speaker 1: You want him like you put these things up there,
- 17:54Speaker 1: so he.
- 17:55Speaker 11: Yeah, like, I'm not like sending him like the Q
- 17:58Speaker 11: photos that I take, so I post him on Instagram.
- 18:02Speaker 1: All right, well, there's questionable. Give me the others. How
- 18:04Speaker 1: many are there? There's honestly a couple.
- 18:08Speaker 11: He every time he gets a phone call, he always
- 18:10Speaker 11: kind of like hides the phone and then he's like, oh,
- 18:12Speaker 11: give me one second, and then he goes and takes
- 18:15Speaker 11: the phone call.
- 18:17Speaker 3: That found's weird.
- 18:18Speaker 8: It might be work.
- 18:20Speaker 11: But every phone call, even if it's like a long
- 18:23Speaker 11: phone call or a short phone call, he's like, yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 11: hold on.
- 18:26Speaker 1: If it's work, that's weird. You want to show that
- 18:29Speaker 1: you're working, you know, that's like a double life.
- 18:31Speaker 5: No, not if he has a job that's discretionary.
- 18:37Speaker 1: For example, what do you mean by that? I don't know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: like like a double life kind of thing.
- 18:44Speaker 8: No, Sophia can't know.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Oh he's in the CIA. Maybe I don't know, all right?
- 18:50Speaker 1: And is there any other red flag with this guy?
- 18:53Speaker 11: So I am like the worst person at making decisions.
- 18:56Speaker 11: I'm so indecisive. And every time we're like, oh, what
- 18:58Speaker 11: should we do today? Where should we go? Where should
- 19:00Speaker 11: we eat? And I give him options, He's like, I
- 19:03Speaker 11: don't know, you choose or you choose?
- 19:05Speaker 1: What do you want? What do you want the most?
- 19:06Speaker 11: And I'm like, I got far enough to give you options.
- 19:09Speaker 3: You give me the final.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Decision, land the plane.
- 19:12Speaker 11: And sometimes I want him to just like make decisive
- 19:16Speaker 11: and make the decision for me.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I think that's hot.
- 19:18Speaker 7: That's hot when when anybody is the bad when Michael
- 19:22Speaker 7: says like, get ready, I'm picking you up in five
- 19:24Speaker 7: minutes or whatever, I'm wait, do.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You remember the Do you remember the date I went on?
- 19:29Speaker 1: This is a while ago. Now remember the date I
- 19:31Speaker 1: went on and it went well? And I said, what
- 19:33Speaker 1: are you doing for the next forty eight hours?
- 19:34Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yes, it worked. I mean we dated for five years
- 19:39Speaker 1: from like twelve years ago. Yeah, yeah, from when I
- 19:42Speaker 1: was in college. Drop out facebo when I dropped out.
- 19:46Speaker 1: So anyway, Sofia, I'm just going to say this to you.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You know, you got to go with your instinct, but
- 19:50Speaker 1: these can be things that are so clear when you
- 19:52Speaker 1: look back in hindsight and didn't follow through on them
- 19:56Speaker 1: being red flags. So just be careful. You get the
- 19:59Speaker 1: gray area. I don't know what he's hiding, but he
- 20:01Speaker 1: can because he's in a gray area. So if you
- 20:03Speaker 1: want to sift through this, you need to be decisive
- 20:07Speaker 1: and tell him probably that you want to be out
- 20:09Speaker 1: of the gray or you need to move on.
- 20:11Speaker 3: It's time.
- 20:12Speaker 1: It's been too long time. I'm even ready for it.
- 20:16Speaker 8: I'm embarrassed now.
- 20:18Speaker 1: But thank you for vulnerably talking about that.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Right, I hope you're not listening.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Ruby, step up to the mic here for a second.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I think this is interesting. You were given a gift
- 20:28Speaker 1: certificate and then you need to get a gift for
- 20:30Speaker 1: somebody else, and you're wondering, is it okay to use
- 20:34Speaker 1: a gift certificate to get a gift for someone? Correct?
- 20:37Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I got a gift card, a Sephora gift card, actually,
- 20:40Speaker 4: during our kiss why elephant exchange from Jewey and me
- 20:45Speaker 4: and my sister share a birthday week, so last week
- 20:47Speaker 4: I was like, oh, I need to get her something.
- 20:48Speaker 4: I was on the Sephora website going to buy her something,
- 20:52Speaker 4: but then I kind of paused, and I was just curious,
- 20:56Speaker 4: is it okay to buy a gift for someone, in
- 20:58Speaker 4: this case my sister a gift card?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yes? You think so?
- 21:02Speaker 3: And it's money money money, you can spend your own money.
- 21:05Speaker 4: I found guilty, though I didn't end up doing it,
- 21:08Speaker 4: but I was like, is it wrong?
- 21:09Speaker 1: But do why carry guilt on that? Like so many
- 21:11Speaker 1: other things to carry guilt about, that's not one of them.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I mean, look the fact that it was a gift
- 21:16Speaker 1: from us, Okay, maybe talking about it with us. Oh,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and it was cheue white, I'll think gift. Yeah, I
- 21:23Speaker 1: don't think you think twice about this. You don't even
- 21:25Speaker 1: tell her it was a gift that you got from
- 21:29Speaker 1: kiss to give to her. But there's no guilt to
- 21:32Speaker 1: be carried with that. I just am all for not
- 21:34Speaker 1: carrying guilt on things. You're doing something nice, you're doing
- 21:37Speaker 1: something awful. We need to stop overthinking stuff like that.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess you're right.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, it's and Sydney. It's dope. I mean,
- 21:45Speaker 1: it's credit, it's money, it's the same. It's the equivalent
- 21:49Speaker 1: Happy birthday to your sister.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Thanks, I'll let her know.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Anybody else were good. So when you leave or lose
- 21:58Speaker 1: your phone, can you breathe? Can you survive? Now? If
- 22:02Speaker 1: you cannot, then we need to discuss the problem. Sisiny,
- 22:05Speaker 1: this happened to you, and I'm.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Really ashamed that I couldn't survive. Essentially, yesterday, I left
- 22:15Speaker 7: the station kind of late and it was about five
- 22:18Speaker 7: o'clock and so I'm like done, I'm like, I'm getting home.
- 22:23Speaker 7: And that's when I realized that I don't have my phone,
- 22:26Speaker 7: and so I go, oh, I can get all my
- 22:28Speaker 7: messages on my laptop, every text message I can get
- 22:32Speaker 7: on my I messages.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Here's the thing. In that moment, there's two things. Number One,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I would have a problem not knowing if it was
- 22:40Speaker 1: lost or not. Did you know it was at the station?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Did somebody find it?
- 22:43Speaker 7: I knew exactly where it was. It was on my
- 22:45Speaker 7: charging pad, on my desk in my Now it's a blessing. Now,
- 22:49Speaker 7: it is a blessing now that you know where it
- 22:50Speaker 7: is and you don't have it. It is a blessing. You
- 22:52Speaker 7: have every excuse not to be on it and use it.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And you could just send an email to anybody here
- 22:57Speaker 1: Mark saying hey, guys, don't on my phone, talk to
- 22:59Speaker 1: you tomorrow. Good night.
- 23:00Speaker 3: No I should have, and I didn't.
- 23:01Speaker 7: I turned right around and I and thirty minutes back
- 23:04Speaker 7: to Burbank and rushed hour.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Like one of the gurus, one of the gurus that
- 23:08Speaker 1: I spend time with, one of these gurus has has
- 23:10Speaker 1: said to me, Hey, when those things happen, it's it's
- 23:13Speaker 1: meant to be that, like you're you are needed to
- 23:16Speaker 1: focus on something else. I don't spend time with gurus,
- 23:19Speaker 1: but I'm just saying, like it seems like a guru
- 23:21Speaker 1: thing that if that happens, then the world, the universe
- 23:24Speaker 1: to plant something is requiring your attention, so don't fight it.
- 23:29Speaker 3: And like I really didn't even need it, by the way,
- 23:30Speaker 3: no one called me. I did not. I did not
- 23:33Speaker 3: need it at all, and I went to bed four
- 23:34Speaker 3: hours later. So it was just a waste.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And I lock mine away. I have I have that
- 23:39Speaker 1: little cubby hole that we put it away for certain
- 23:41Speaker 1: dealers and meals, and when I am traveling many times
- 23:44Speaker 1: I will luck it away. And I'm here advocating that.
- 23:48Speaker 1: When you are not a quick response person, and I've
- 23:51Speaker 1: been a quick response person all my life, when you
- 23:53Speaker 1: are not, it's so cool. It's so cool these days
- 23:56Speaker 1: when you're not a quick response person.
- 24:00Speaker 10: Not for you, you.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Don't think it's cool.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I do. I want to be a non response person.
- 24:05Speaker 3: But for us, to you, the tables are turned. You
- 24:09Speaker 3: text me about something, I don't hit you back.
- 24:11Speaker 1: You look.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Laid.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I questioned, mark, question mark, kiss Kiss. That's it, guys,
- 24:20Speaker 1: ASSISTANTY is going to take you for another hour. Tomorrow
- 24:22Speaker 1: we're back with an all new Ryan's Roses. Yeah, make
- 24:26Speaker 1: sure you're here for it. I have a great day, Assistant.
