- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the garage.
- 0:32I know it's funny to say it again, however, is very early
- 0:35and I'm working on getting organized before I go out to the
- 0:41girls. And I just wanted to jump on
- 0:44obviously day after Christmas and you know, start to talk
- 0:49about today for me is just a time when I'm like still in that
- 0:53massive holiday spirit. I love to sit and start thinking
- 0:57about what are all the possibilities of things that
- 1:00I'm. I'm very much in possibility
- 1:02mode right now because this is the week between Christmas and
- 1:05New Year's where I really dig in.
- 1:08As I've said a couple times in the past week or so, I dig in
- 1:12and I start thinking all about the possibilities of what can
- 1:17happen, what I can do, how I want to do it, lay it all out
- 1:20and it's a deep dive into some fun stuff for me.
- 1:24So after eating far too much sugar yesterday and because we
- 1:31had lasagna, Italian food that I made, yes, and I cooked, which
- 1:37was a really big thing for me not to do the traditional types
- 1:41of food because at least I know I can get those correct, I
- 1:44decided I wanted to do something different and I made lasagna.
- 1:49And boy was that living in the possibility or what?
- 1:52So it was, it was insane because I also baked two different kinds
- 1:56of brownies. I baked gluten free brownies for
- 1:59my daughter and then I baked Blondie brownies because my
- 2:02husband loves those and I did them from scratch.
- 2:06The gluten free I did not do from scratch.
- 2:08Full disclosure. No, no no, can't do that with my
- 2:11daughter. Can't run the risk of having it
- 2:13not work out well because it's gluten free anyway.
- 2:16So I did two different kinds of the brownies.
- 2:21Then I went and did two different kinds of lasagna.
- 2:24Same lasagna but a gluten free version and then a big regular
- 2:29version with regular noodles for everybody.
- 2:32And that was quite the challenge because I had not made lasagna
- 2:37and I was following a recipe from Joanna Gaines book.
- 2:41So I was like, OK, no, she's already done all the heavy
- 2:44lifting here. She's got it all figured out.
- 2:45I'm just going to follow it along and doubled up the recipe.
- 2:49Ended up making it. It was really great.
- 2:52I did two different kinds of breads for garlic bread, one
- 2:55gluten free, one not. But I did not bake the bread
- 2:58from scratch. I just prepared it and then I
- 3:00did one type of green bean, which was like a lemon garlic
- 3:04green bean roast in the oven. And I have to say it going into
- 3:09the the days of possibility, I started it yesterday just by
- 3:14saying, well, what's possible if I change up the menu and I do
- 3:16something different? So I started by asking the
- 3:19questions right away. That's why I just told you my
- 3:21whole menu and I didn't just push it a little bit with one
- 3:23thing. I did it all the way.
- 3:25So as I go into today, it's all about sitting there and saying,
- 3:29OK, I am going to capture today is going to be the list of all
- 3:34the possibilities. I've been making random lists,
- 3:37but now I'm going to take them and I'm going to put them all on
- 3:40one gigantic piece of paper and say, OK, this is it.
- 3:45This is like my, I'll have probably many 11 by 17 sheets of
- 3:48paper. And I will be writing them all
- 3:51over the place. And I will be putting things
- 3:53down so that I can actually sit there and say, OK, yes, this is
- 3:57it. This is the stuff that I'm going
- 3:59to use as my pull chart. I'm going to keep going back to
- 4:02those lists and I'm going to keep saying what are the
- 4:04possibilities that I want to dive into, but I'm doing it
- 4:07really in a very, very specific headspace.
- 4:10I'm not feeling daunted by all kinds of other things because
- 4:16I've cleaned up to this point as much as I can.
- 4:19Yes, I still have a few things I have to do, but they're not
- 4:22major. So I'm going in very much making
- 4:26this something that is very specific, and it's all about
- 4:31feeling. Notice the word there.
- 4:33It's all about feeling the potential, feeling a certain
- 4:37way, feeling excited, feeling willing to do this, feeling that
- 4:41I have no commitments of anything until January 6th,
- 4:46which seems so far away to me right now.
- 4:49And all I have to do is dwell in all of this possibility and
- 4:53planning. And I don't think I can remember
- 4:56a time in my schedule where I've given myself this much
- 5:00possibility. So I'm going to be able to dwell
- 5:03in it for, you know, over well, over 10 days at this point.
- 5:08And well, about 10 days, I think I got to count that how many
- 5:12days it might be. But it's about, it's about that.
- 5:14And I've never done that before where I've been able to say, OK,
- 5:17this is something I'm super excited and just can sit with it
- 5:22and I don't have to hurry it up to get to the next day where
- 5:25it's done. And then I can just, you know,
- 5:27be done and move on. Point is, feel excited.
- 5:32Go in and feel excited. Give yourself some time, if you
- 5:35can, to feel excited for an extended period of time in your
- 5:39planning. And I promise you it will change
- 5:41everything. All right, my friends, I will
- 5:43see you tomorrow. Bye.
