- 0:03This is Living Waters of Grace, the teaching ministry of Clark
- 0:08Wofford, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland,
- 0:12County of Greensburg, PA. Now here's Pastor Clark as he
- 0:16continues teaching through God's Word.
- 0:37There's no rules here that you have to jump through 30 hoops
- 0:40before you can serve the Lord. You have to be born again.
- 0:44You have to love the Lord and love people and be walking with
- 0:47him and God will use you right. It's real simple, but that's the
- 0:51focus of, of, of a healthy church.
- 0:53And so these people also told without feigning.
- 0:56And that means working in spite of seeing results.
- 1:00Just keep showing up. Keep doing what it is that God
- 1:03tells you to do. A joke amongst our set up tear
- 1:06down team at church is that the only requirements for helping
- 1:09are #1 are you breathing and #2 do you have a pulse?
- 1:14All jokes aside, it doesn't take crazy qualifications to serve in
- 1:19most roles at church. What it does require is a
- 1:23willing spirit and love for your neighbor.
- 1:27In today's message, Pastor Clark provides scriptural evidence
- 1:31that God can and will use anyone who is willing to serve in His
- 1:36Kingdom. We need not worry about what
- 1:39we'll do. Just come with a willing heart.
- 1:42Now. Here's Pastor Clark in
- 1:43Revelation Chapter 2 with today's edition of Living Waters
- 1:47of Grace. People come in and, and they see
- 1:50all the parts of the body working together, someone
- 1:53outside shoveling and, and someone, you know, helping with
- 1:56the Lord's Supper, running sound or run, you know, singing and
- 1:59worship and, and, and this sometimes a part in the body is
- 2:03a, someone that comes in that's new, that you go up to them and
- 2:05say, Hey, I'm glad you're here. It's, it's nice to see you.
- 2:08What's your name? You might be the only person
- 2:10that Sunday that has a chance to connect with someone else.
- 2:13And that's the body of Christ. That's the love that's being
- 2:16manifest in the in the midst of the church.
- 2:18And so how does a church grow? And I'm not talking numerically,
- 2:22of course, God does grow churches numerically.
- 2:25But what's the purpose of the church growing numerically?
- 2:27It isn't to be a big church. The purpose is that people were
- 2:33being called to do ministry, right.
- 2:35They're coming to the church to not sit in a Pew, but to say,
- 2:39what is it that I can do? How can I serve?
- 2:41How can I help? What's what's my gift?
- 2:44Like this fellow that's moving in from Idaho, He told me,
- 2:46Clark, I can help. I like to do evangelism.
- 2:49And he says I'm an I'm an usher. And you know, he just has a
- 2:53heart to serve his his son's 16. He says, boy, I hope he can
- 2:57maybe, you know, be involved helping in a worship.
- 2:59I said, sure, he can he can talk to Rick.
- 3:01And you know, there there's no rules here that you have to jump
- 3:06through 30 hoops before you can serve the Lord.
- 3:09You have to be born again. You have to love the Lord and
- 3:11love people and be walking with him and God will use you right.
- 3:15It's real simple, but that's the focus of of of a healthy church.
- 3:19And so these people also told without feigning and that means
- 3:23working in spite of seeing results.
- 3:26This keep showing up, keep doing what it is that God tells you to
- 3:29do. And God's the one that brings
- 3:31the harvest in his time. They also had this sacrificial
- 3:36heart and I think of as a small church, how you guys give of
- 3:41your time and how you give financially.
- 3:44It's a blessing we never have to beg for money.
- 3:47We never have to push about money.
- 3:51The Holy Spirit is the one that puts it on your heart what it is
- 3:53that you're to give. And that's between you and the
- 3:55Lord. And it's a wonderful thing to be
- 3:58able to give freely without condemnation or without guilt.
- 4:05And as we know we can't ever out give God.
- 4:09I mean, I challenge my own heart as the Lord prospers me.
- 4:12I always want to advance what it is I personally sacrifice before
- 4:17the Lord. And sometimes we all can think,
- 4:20well, if I didn't give as much as I gave to the church, I could
- 4:23be driving a new car. You ever think that the payment
- 4:27I could be using for. I mean, that's ridiculous.
- 4:29Don't think that way, but our flesh sometimes sinks that way.
- 4:32It's just normal for all of us because we're still human.
- 4:34But it's cool to be content with what we have live within our
- 4:37means, actually live under our means.
- 4:39My dad taught me that many years ago.
- 4:41He was a president of a company. And one of the big shots from
- 4:44this chairman of the board said, well, Clark, how many acres do
- 4:47you have? And my dad says I got a probably
- 4:50about 1/4 of an acre. And they expected my dad,
- 4:53because of the position he was in, to have a big mansion and
- 4:56all that. My dad lived in a very modest
- 4:58home. He turned on the company
- 5:00limousine. He drove a Ford Pinto station
- 5:03wagon. He didn't park in the director
- 5:05for the president and he parked somewhere else.
- 5:07It's just my dad set that temperament for my brother and I
- 5:11as an example. He was a very, very sacrificial,
- 5:15humble man. And what he did with his
- 5:17resources and finances was always for the sake of helping
- 5:20other people and never consumed with himself.
- 5:25That's an amazing individual. But anyway, Ephesus, this is the
- 5:28kind of church they have. They are, but it says in verse
- 5:314, then the accusation comes in spite of all the good things
- 5:34they're doing. He says, I had this one thing
- 5:36against you. You've left your first love as a
- 5:40pastor. I have to continually keep
- 5:42myself in the love of God. I'm like you guys.
- 5:45I got a wife, I got children, I got grandchildren, I got son in
- 5:50law's, I got a job, I got all kinds of things that my mind can
- 5:54get focused on. And those are all good things to
- 5:57be focused on. But sometimes I can allow things
- 6:01in everyday life to take my focus off of my relationship
- 6:04with the Lord. You know what I mean?
- 6:06If I don't start my day with the Lord and walk with the Lord
- 6:09through that day and end my day with the Lord, my heart will not
- 6:13be full of this first love. My relationship with Cindy, 38
- 6:17years of marriage. There was years, I have to admit
- 6:20to you people that I was not loving her the way Christ told
- 6:24me I'm to love his church the way he loves his church.
- 6:28And so I was inadequate in the sense of my emotional connection
- 6:31with my wife. I was there, I showed up, I paid
- 6:34the bills, I did whatever a husband's supposed to do, but I
- 6:37was not connecting with her needs as a woman in the sense of
- 6:41her emotional needs. And so the reason I wasn't, I
- 6:44was focused on my job and my career and my success and my
- 6:48golf clubs and my time and this and that and my Ford Thunderbird
- 6:52or whatever. And, and I sacrificed some years
- 6:55that I look back on. I say, Lord, it's only your
- 6:58mercy that you kept us together all these years, but God was
- 7:01merciful. He broke me and he humbled me
- 7:03and he gave me an amazing woman that stood beside me and never
- 7:07gave up on me. And so 38 years I can say to you
- 7:10guys today, honestly, I love Cindy today more than I love her
- 7:14when I first met her. She is an amazing woman.
- 7:17I, I never tire of looking at her face when I wake up in the
- 7:20morning. I never look at her and say, why
- 7:23did I end up with her. Now she might say that about me,
- 7:25especially now with my scar now, but but you know, that's a work
- 7:32of God's Spirit. It's a work of his grace and,
- 7:34and and it's nothing I've done, but it's as I've yielded myself
- 7:37to the Lord and won his will, not mine.
- 7:39He restores to me the joy of my salvation and to you too.
- 7:43And so the the but I have to work on my relationship with
- 7:46Cindy. When she asked me things and
- 7:48says things, I got to listen and I got to say, OK God, how am I
- 7:51to respond here? Sometimes I have to admit she
- 7:53still drives me crazy. I know I drive her crazy at
- 7:56times too, but that's just two people that are different living
- 8:01together in the same house, being married.
- 8:03We're still different even after 30, but there's so many things
- 8:06that we're a lot alike. When she fell and broke her
- 8:08shoulder, the Bible says the two shall become one flesh.
- 8:12I noticed the next time my shoulder was hurting.
- 8:14It's really bizarre. And then one day I'm like on a
- 8:17business trip and I running out of Panera Bread because I forgot
- 8:20my wallet and I'm wearing these clogged shoes and I was running
- 8:22faster and the shoes stayed with me.
- 8:24All of a sudden I knew I was falling and I started going like
- 8:26this man. I banged my hand and thank God I
- 8:29didn't break anything. And I called her later and told
- 8:33her what happened. She's man, my arm, my hand was
- 8:34hurting today. I mean, this, it's just weird
- 8:37how you know that there is this element of this, this one, this
- 8:40we have in this relationship. But I look at that love with my
- 8:45wife and it's parallel to how my relationship needs to be with
- 8:49the Lord. If my love with Christ is where
- 8:51it needs to be, I guarantee my love with Cindy will be where it
- 8:54needs to be. But if my love with Christ isn't
- 8:57where it needs to be, I'm not going to be able to be what it
- 9:00is. She needs me to be as her
- 9:02husband because Christ is not the center of my life.
- 9:05And so every day as a husband, as a father, the grandfather is
- 9:08an employee, as a pastor, all the roles that I have, and you
- 9:12have many different roles too, as men and women and children, I
- 9:15have to persevere and keep myself in the love of God.
- 9:19The Scriptures actually say to keep yourself in the love of
- 9:21God. So my devotion to Jesus has to
- 9:24be above everything else. And when I look at the church
- 9:26and I pray for you guys every day, I go by the names and a
- 9:29list. I think, OK, where are they with
- 9:31the Lord or where aren't they with the Lord?
- 9:33That's not an outward judgement. It's just like God.
- 9:36I pray that they're digging deep into you and they're finding in
- 9:39you everything they need. That's the heart of a pastor.
- 9:42That's the heart of the Lord for all of us.
- 9:44He wants you and me to be in love with Jesus.
- 9:47And if we are, He knows our lives are going to be whole and
- 9:50satisfying and protected from sin and destruction and stupid
- 9:54moves and decisions. So my devotion to Jesus in the
- 9:58Church of Ephesus, he's got this concern that in spite of all
- 10:01this outward biblical stuff they're doing, they've moved
- 10:05away from loving Jesus. And when you love Jesus, you're
- 10:07fervent about him. You're uninhibited.
- 10:10You know, you got a friend, the neighbor or relative.
- 10:13You're not like, oh, should I tell him about the Lord or
- 10:15should I bring it up? Man, you could care less what
- 10:17anybody thinks. You just want to shop from the
- 10:19rooftops. Jesus is Lord, I love him.
- 10:22Jesus did this for me and he did that and I prayed and he you
- 10:25don't care if people think you're nuts because you're so in
- 10:28love with the Lord. But it when you find yourself a
- 10:31little bit inhibited, embarrassed maybe about your
- 10:33faith, wondering if it's going to affect your relationship with
- 10:36people. You're moving away from your
- 10:38first love. Whenever you don't have a desire
- 10:40to read the word and to be in the word, not because we're
- 10:43going through the Bible day by day through the Bible at the end
- 10:46of the year, you can say, hey, I did it, but you're going through
- 10:49it because you can't wait to hear God's voice to your heart
- 10:52for today. Fresh mana for today, something
- 10:55God's giving you this for your relationship with him.
- 11:00As I got those verses into that surgery, boy, that was so
- 11:02important. I said, Lord, I need a word from
- 11:04you. I need you to give something to
- 11:08me. And he did and I held it in my
- 11:10pocket by my heart so I could look at it and be reminded of
- 11:14his faithfulness. The relationship has to be
- 11:17personal. A husband can be father on in
- 11:20the Lord or the wife and and that's not good because you
- 11:23can't go in the fumes of another person's relationship.
- 11:26You guys can't live on the fumes of a sermon for a week.
- 11:30Hopefully it spurs you and encourages you and gives you a
- 11:32little bit of encouragement. You're right, but you're going
- 11:34home because of your relationship with Jesus that you
- 11:37had prior to even coming to church on Sunday and you're
- 11:40walking close with him. It's like the couples in the
- 11:43honeymoon when you first met your your spouse.
- 11:46So the person you were going to eventually end up marrying, you
- 11:48couldn't wait to see them. You were on the phone with them
- 11:51texting. I remember Jess and Dan met each
- 11:53other in eHarmony. How many hours did you guys
- 11:55spend on the phone? 6A hour a day.
- 11:58Plus they're emailing. I mean, I mean, it was crazy,
- 12:01you know? And that is the picture of the
- 12:04relationship with our Lord, that we are talking to him all day
- 12:08long and we're never hearing something that we've heard
- 12:11before. We're bored.
- 12:12It's a it's a, this is a wonderful relationship, But
- 12:16whenever you start to take each other for granted in the
- 12:19relationship, or do you ever take the Lord for granted?
- 12:22Oh, yeah. I'm going to go to heaven
- 12:23someday. That's nice.
- 12:24You know, Lord loves me. Yeah.
- 12:26Eternal life. That's great, but everything
- 12:29else is crowded out the excitement of what that all
- 12:32means. You're beginning to take Him for
- 12:34granted. You're moving from your first
- 12:36love when life begins to be routine and boring and
- 12:40uneventful and this a drag. You've left your first love and
- 12:44then your relationship with the Lord is in danger when you're
- 12:48neglecting worshipping God and worship.
- 12:50This isn't here with Rick and the guys on Sunday morning.
- 12:52Worship is in your car with your CD.
- 12:54Worship is in your home with your Bible open where you're
- 12:57just praising God and thank thanking him for how much he
- 12:59loves you and all that he's done and, and how great he is and how
- 13:03he's created the universe and how he has his hand on
- 13:06everything that's going on in the world at the same time with
- 13:09every life and every individual. It's just mind blowing.
- 13:13And so you worship God and you're, you're loving God.
- 13:16You find yourself serving God, giving of your your livelihood
- 13:22for God's work, helping brothers and sisters, helping neighbors,
- 13:26helping people that don't know the Lord doesn't matter because
- 13:29you love the Lord. Dan and I were digging this
- 13:31woman out yesterday and she was like I said, well, where you got
- 13:34to go? She's like, how old is that
- 13:35Lady? 80s or something?
- 13:38Yeah, she's out there with a shovel.
- 13:39And you know, we say, hey man, no, we'll, we'll do it until
- 13:41we're over there helping. I said, where are you going?
- 13:43She said I got to go to Mass. I said, when She said 4:00, I
- 13:47said in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you are
- 13:49absolved. You can stay home.
- 13:51She thought I was kidding. I said, no, I'm a pastor.
- 13:53You just take it easy. The Lord knows you can't get out
- 13:55here today. But she was so determined to go,
- 13:57but we were digging her out and and she says, Oh, I can't, I
- 14:00feel so bad. I'm making, I say, hey, we're
- 14:02doing this because we love Jesus.
- 14:04We're doing this because of him, you know, And I said, plus you
- 14:07have some of those pizzelles in the house and those cookies.
- 14:10And she said, all I do is she was all excited.
- 14:12She went in and got him and brought him out to us, you know,
- 14:16but but seriously, you know, we, we just did it because it's part
- 14:19of this, what you do as a follower of Christ and you love
- 14:22him. And the Bible told the church in
- 14:25Ephesus, in the book of Ephesians, that they were seated
- 14:29with Christ Jesus in heavenly places.
- 14:32That's our position right now spiritually, you're in the
- 14:35heavenly places with Christ where everything that is his is
- 14:38yours, where we can't be lifted up any higher than he has us
- 14:43right now. It's incredible what our
- 14:47inheritance is in Christ, but where are you with that right
- 14:51now, today? Where is your relationship with
- 14:55the Lord? How are you doing with Jesus
- 14:57Christ? He warns them that if they don't
- 15:01repent, and I talked about repentance pretty extensively
- 15:04last week. Repentance is the realization I
- 15:07can't live like this anymore. I can't go through this
- 15:11spiritual fog like this anymore. I'm done with this waste of time
- 15:16and energy and things that aren't going to last.
- 15:19And boy, I'll tell you when, when you, when you're dealing
- 15:21with some kind of cancer, some kind of life potential problem,
- 15:26you start realizing how short your life is, right?
- 15:28All of us and one day all of us, I don't care how young you are
- 15:31in here, you're going to be in a grave if Christ hasn't come yet
- 15:35and your body is going to rot and you're just going to have
- 15:37bones in there. I mean, there's nothing left.
- 15:39Your spirit will be with the Lord.
- 15:40The Bible says to be absent the bodies, to be present with the
- 15:42Lord, everything you live for. And if it isn't for Christ is
- 15:47all going to be a waste. It's all going to burn.
- 15:50And I think as God gives me days on this earth, my whole desire
- 15:55is for you guys and for his work.
- 15:58That's the focus of my heart. I want to be around God willing
- 16:02for my kids and to see my grandkids grow up and to see
- 16:05them follow the Lord. That's that's the passion and
- 16:10also that the days that I'm living, even though I got a lot
- 16:14of things like you guys work and all these other things that can
- 16:17destroy. I want my life to count for
- 16:19eternity so that whenever I'm done and I stand before the
- 16:22Lord, we can hear well done, good and faithful servant.
- 16:27But he's warning them if you don't repent from where you've
- 16:29fallen and whenever your first love isn't there, you got to
- 16:33admit you're backslidden. He says repent and go back and
- 16:35do the first works or I will come to you and remove the
- 16:39lampstand from its place. Unless you repent doesn't mean
- 16:42you're losing your salvation, and it means your ability to
- 16:44influence the community as a church is gone.
- 16:47This church built back in 1895 used to have 350 people coming
- 16:52on Sundays, 2 services, fantastic Sunday school thing,
- 16:56all that. I got the book of the pastors
- 16:58and the history when they started moving away from the
- 17:01truth of the Word of God, when they started changing things and
- 17:04doing things that weren't about Jesus but were about the
- 17:07denomination and programs and all that.
- 17:10The crowd wasn't alive anymore. The church didn't have a light
- 17:14anymore and it eventually church died.
- 17:17It closed down the lampstand. Lampstand was removed from this
- 17:20place many years ago. And God, I believe by His grace,
- 17:24has put it in our midst again. The light of Jesus Christ is in
- 17:28this place in the lives of all you folks.
- 17:31It isn't the building, it's the people that inhabit the
- 17:34building. But this church, Jesus says, is
- 17:36in danger an Ephesus of losing the light.
- 17:41And the judgment, he said, will come now, not later on.
- 17:46He will remove the influence, the salt, the light from their
- 17:50own lives and from the community, and they're going to
- 17:54be in really, really bad shape. And of course, as I said,
- 17:57Ephesus today is a pale image of what it once was.
- 18:04These people separated themselves from false doctrine.
- 18:07And I guarantee one thing for sure, we will not tolerate any
- 18:11false teaching in this church at all.
- 18:15Someone has some kind of weird teaching that's not Apostolic
- 18:18and it's not historical Christian teaching.
- 18:20I don't have time for it. You know, there is no new stuff
- 18:25coming out. People are saying let's go find
- 18:27this new thing and find that new thing.
- 18:29All it is the Bible says is winds, winds of doctrine that
- 18:31blow into the church to try to get people off the truth of
- 18:35God's word. And this church was very strong
- 18:38when it's it's separated itself from the false doctrines and the
- 18:43false deeds. He uses this term Nicolaitans,
- 18:45it says conquering the people. The Nicolaitans were the type of
- 18:49people that wanted to Lord it over the people in the church.
- 18:52They wanted to control the people.
- 18:54They wanted to manipulate them. They wanted the the people in
- 18:56the church to pay homage to them as leaders.
- 18:59And the the church wasn't there to serve the Lord and the
- 19:02people. These people were trying to make
- 19:05these people serve them. It was all about them.
- 19:08And heresy, it was the development back then of the
- 19:12clergy and lady where the paid professionals, the people had
- 19:16the seminary degree or the doctoral degree or all that
- 19:19stuff. They were like here and
- 19:21everybody would look up to them and think, Oh my look, they do
- 19:23this, they do that, their robes or whatever.
- 19:26The Bible never developed a, a hierarchical system in, in
- 19:30regard to the body of Christ. As I said in the beginning,
- 19:33Christ is the head and we're all at his feet.
- 19:36We all have different gifts and abilities, and pastors or elders
- 19:40have a responsibility to shepherd the flock of God in the
- 19:44sense of the way the Scriptures teach us to serve the flock but
- 19:48not to Lord it over the people. You're more important than I am.
- 19:52The leadership of the church is supposed to be at the bottom of
- 19:56the body, lifting the people up in their relationship with the
- 20:00Lord. We're the least in the church,
- 20:04and you're the most in the church.
- 20:07That's how the Lord has developed his Kingdom.
- 20:10Jesus said, if any of you want to be great, let him first be
- 20:14his servant. He who is first must be last.
- 20:19So how do we regain our first love?
- 20:21Let's just begin to to close down here.
- 20:23If you're here today and you're thinking, Clark, I hear what
- 20:25you're saying about this and down deep inside me and I know
- 20:28I've drifted and, and sometimes we think, why can I change or
- 20:31can I change? It's all matter of your heart
- 20:33and your will. If you can be here today and
- 20:35just be honest and say I've slipped from my first love and I
- 20:38want to be restored to it, that's repentance.
- 20:41The good news is that you can repent.
- 20:42I can repent. And so you repent and then you
- 20:45pray and you say, Lord restore to me this first love
- 20:49relationship. And you start in a practical way
- 20:52this week, being the Word every day, not out of ritual or duty,
- 20:57but because you want to hear from the Lord, because you love
- 21:00Him by word. Have I hid in my heart?
- 21:02Then I might not sin against you.
- 21:03Be in the Word, and when you're in the Word, obey what it's
- 21:06saying. If the Lord's been speaking to
- 21:08you about something, you haven't been doing it.
- 21:10Stop not doing it and just start doing it.
- 21:13And that will again restore that love relationship with the Lord.
- 21:17Worship Him, fellowship, get together with one another and
- 21:21fellowship. Hang out, attend the activities
- 21:23of the church when you can. Don't be a Lone Ranger.
- 21:26Don't be aloof. Let your brothers and sisters
- 21:29know you need them and they need you, and then find a place to
- 21:36serve. I guarantee whenever you start
- 21:38serving in the church, you start getting hot.
- 21:42You just, there's a, there's a special presence of God that
- 21:45comes on your life when you begin to actively do something
- 21:49in the body to help others. The Lord stirs you up.
- 21:53He gives you abilities and skills and gifts that you never
- 21:55knew you had. And what happens to he keeps you
- 21:58closer to himself when you're serving him.
- 22:01Believe me, I would not be where I am on my walk with the Lord
- 22:04right now if I wasn't being responsible to be a pastor,
- 22:09which is what he called me to do.
- 22:11I would be in bad shape right now spiritually.
- 22:14And for years I quenched God because I didn't want to, you
- 22:17know, sort of like, you know, let someone else do it, you
- 22:19know? But I'm so thankful.
- 22:21It keeps my heart close to the fire.
- 22:24I don't have a choice. Each week I need to be walking
- 22:28with God as close as I can so that I don't defame him and I
- 22:34don't bring reproach upon him and I don't let you guys down
- 22:38and pray for me. Pray, please pray for me.
- 22:40I need your prayers every day in order to do what it is the Lord
- 22:43has called me to do. And then he ends it up here.
- 22:46If you, if you're involved this way and you're, you're living in
- 22:49these ways in regard to first love, the good news is, is that
- 22:54you will overcome. If you have an ear to hear today
- 22:57what the spirits saying to the church.
- 23:00He says to him who overcomes this means the person who's
- 23:02walking in victory, walking in deep relationship with Christ.
- 23:07If you're walking in first love, you're going to overcome no
- 23:09matter what happens in your life, no matter what the doctor
- 23:12diagnosis, no matter what happens in the home or the
- 23:16family or the situation, it's not going to tear you away from
- 23:20the power of God because you're living in a life of supernatural
- 23:24victory and abundance. Jesus says I've come that you
- 23:27might have life in John 1010 and that you might have it more
- 23:30abundantly. Christ came to give us a life
- 23:33that's supernatural and we all can have it despite being in
- 23:37love with the Lord, right? Don't be careless and neglecting
- 23:41what it is He's asked of us as His church and what He asked of
- 23:46the Church of Ephesus. It's real real simple, real,
- 23:49real basic. But it's real easy to drift,
- 23:51isn't it? But it's real easy to repent
- 23:54too, right? This has been Living Waters of
- 23:59Grace with Pastor Clark. We're going through the
- 24:01challenging and also intriguing Book of Revelation.
- 24:05Whether you're a fan of reading ahead in books of fiction,
- 24:08there's such a benefit to reading ahead in the Bible to
- 24:11read about how it all ends. But in an interesting turn of
- 24:15events, the Book of Revelation is not really the end, but
- 24:20rather the beginning. It's the end of life as we know
- 24:23it here on earth, but there's so much to look forward to.
- 24:28But what comes after all? The judgement of the earth and
- 24:30those who reject God. There's a lot to work through,
- 24:34and it can be heartbreaking to read through the intense
- 24:38judgements and wrath that will come on those who hate God with
- 24:42all their might. The thing is, God has given
- 24:45chance upon chance to these people.
- 24:47They don't want it. So the outcome is that there are
- 24:51judgements and consequences for those who've rejected the good
- 24:55news and the gift of salvation that's offered through Jesus's
- 24:59death and resurrection. Are you one who has heard about
- 25:03these things but doesn't really want it because you want to live
- 25:07life on your terms? Trust me, living for Jesus is so
- 25:13much better. That doesn't mean it will be
- 25:15easy, but as you listen and read through Revelation with us,
- 25:19you'll come to a stark realization that you don't want
- 25:22to be on earth when the apocalypse happens.
- 25:26So check out Calvary Chapel online.com to learn how to come
- 25:30to a saving grace through faith that will allow you to be with
