Speaker 1: Do you feel like you're stuck in the dark ages? Well,
• 0:05
Speaker 1: then join me this year at the International Pastors and
• 0:07
Speaker 1: Leadership Conference, where I will shed light on the latest technologies.
• 0:12
Speaker 2: Join Lance Gowdy, Director of Information Technology at T.D. Jakes Ministries,
• 0:16
Speaker 2: for his workshop, Technology in the Church, Doing More with Less.
• 0:21
Speaker 2: Gowdy has worked in technology for over 25 years, and
• 0:24
Speaker 2: now he'll share his knowledge and expertise with you at
• 0:27
Speaker 2: the International Pastors and Leadership Conference.
• 0:31
Speaker 1: Well, I have a deep passion for technology, and I
• 0:34
Speaker 1: think I have an even deeper passion for helping people
• 0:37
Speaker 1: to move forward and utilize the different technologies available. One
• 0:40
Speaker 1: of the things I get asked most often is, where
• 0:42
Speaker 1: do I start? And there are so many things from
• 0:45
Speaker 1: iPads to just the different mobile devices, and people look
• 0:49
Speaker 1: for answers. They look for a direction, and sometimes they
• 0:52
Speaker 1: don't know the questions to ask. They don't know how
• 0:54
Speaker 1: to utilize the technology. So in this conference, I'm going
• 0:57
Speaker 1: to be speaking about the different technologies that are available
• 1:00
Speaker 1: but also how to harness the power of each individual
• 1:03
Speaker 1: technology and bring them together for the common purpose of
• 1:06
Speaker 1: moving the nation forward. The great thing about this session
• 1:10
Speaker 1: is that it's not designed for the technical elite. I
• 1:13
Speaker 1: won't be speaking in techniques, if you will. I really
• 1:16
Speaker 1: want to reach those people that if you know how
• 1:18
Speaker 1: to turn the computer on, if you know how to
• 1:20
Speaker 1: talk on a cell phone and click a button of
• 1:22
Speaker 1: a mouse, then this is the session for you. I
• 1:25
Speaker 1: want to make sure that when you walk away from
• 1:27
Speaker 1: this session that you have practical things that you can
• 1:29
Speaker 1: go back and implement. I want to remove all the
• 1:32
Speaker 1: smoke and mirrors, all the mystery behind what goes on.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: And then most importantly, to really teach people how to
• 1:39
Speaker 1: harness technologies but not spend a lot of money doing it.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: I want to make sure that what you get is scalable,
• 1:44
Speaker 1: meaning that it can grow with you. You don't want
• 1:46
Speaker 1: to invest in technology now and then a year from
• 1:49
Speaker 1: now you have to throw it away because something bigger
• 1:51
Speaker 1: and better has come along. So how to make the
• 1:53
Speaker 1: right decisions, smart decisions. The decisions that you implement can
• 1:57
Speaker 1: impact your ministry from this day forward.
• 2:00
Speaker 2: Take the mystery out of technology. Attend the International Pastors
• 2:04
Speaker 2: and Leadership Conference and get the ultimate tech support. Register
• 2:08
Speaker 2: now at pastorsandleaders.org. We want no church left behind.
