- 0:10You're listening to the Hidden Likeness on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:14I'm your host Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:16Well, wealthy people added again.
- 0:19McDonald CEO delivers career advice in an Instagram video.
- 0:24He has been very active on social media and Instagram specifically.
- 0:30He has nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram.
- 0:33And he's given advice to our young people.
- 0:38In fact, he says it's career advice that may hurt your feelings.
- 0:42Well, uh, we wouldn't want to do that, would we?
- 0:46So welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:48We're getting closer to Christmas, and tis the season for giving.
- 0:53And uh here we have wealthy people giving advice, free advice.
- 1:00And I'm seeing more and more of this, and it's really encouraging.
- 1:04I think that our young people are getting a much better education by free videos like this.
- 1:11Free information that's out there.
- 1:14Kevin O'Leary.
- 1:15Uh, he he offers advice all the time.
- 1:18Uh you have Wern Buffett offers advice all the time, free advice.
- 1:24On and on and on it goes.
- 1:26Elon Musk, free advice constantly.
- 1:31And they're all saying a very similar thing.
- 1:34And that is that we don't have to wait around and have other people tell us what to do.
- 1:43That we don't have to go to a four-year college in order to make money and have a great career path.
- 1:50You know, it makes me think of the video I saw a recent video of, or at least it it reappeared again.
- 1:57I think it's fairly recent, you know, a few months ago, but AOC was trashing Elon Musk.
- 2:04And she's like, he's he's not an engineer, he's not that smart of a guy.
- 2:10He's just uh he's he's a billionaire who rips people off, and that's how he got his money.
- 2:17I'm like, oh, AOC.
- 2:21You know, you don't get it.
- 2:23You really don't get it.
- 2:25You don't understand how incredibly intelligent he is.
- 2:31That he didn't need six different college degrees.
- 2:36He learned virtually everything all on his own.
- 2:41I he searched the internet and read books and he learned, he learned how to engineer things.
- 2:49He surrounded himself with very intelligent people.
- 2:54And it's this whole narrative that people have to go to college.
- 2:59It's still, you know, this narrative is still being peddled out there a lot.
- 3:05That you have to go to college or you're never gonna make it.
- 3:08Uh we need to we need to give free college.
- 3:11You know, that's a big talking point still with the Democratic Party.
- 3:15They love this socialist idea of giving free college to people, free degrees.
- 3:22Well, the issue is that having a degree doesn't make you employable for most careers.
- 3:30People don't really care about what your college degree is.
- 3:34They want to know do you have the skill sets?
- 3:38Do you have the personality?
- 3:41And are uh do you have the work ethic?
- 3:43Are you gonna show up?
- 3:44Are you gonna do the job?
- 3:47Are you gonna contribute to the company?
- 3:50Because if you're not gonna do that, who cares about your college degree?
- 3:54And especially who cares where you got your college degree.
- 3:59I've heard Dave Ramsey talk about that a lot.
- 4:01And he's like, you know, this whole idea that we have to go to some special private university and pay quadruple what we would pay going to a state school, that's just stupid.
- 4:13A degree is a degree, as far as employers are concerned, they don't care if you went to Harvard.
- 4:20You know, if if if you're an accountant, you think somebody cares whether you went to Harvard or at Penn State.
- 4:33What they care is do you have the degree that you need?
- 4:37Do you have the degree or certification?
- 4:40Do you have the work ethic?
- 4:43Do you have the personality?
- 4:45Are you a decent person?
- 4:48You know, do you treat other people with kindness and respect?
- 4:51And you know, or are you gonna run customers off?
- 4:54That's what people care about.
- 4:55So the fact that McDonald's CEO is putting videos out there, and a lot of them.
- 5:03You know, I was just looking, kind of browsing through.
- 5:06He's offering all kinds of free advice to people.
- 5:10And I love it.
- 5:11I think it's fantastic.
- 5:13Tis the season of giving, and he's giving.
- 5:16He's giving free advice, is what he's giving.
- 5:20A lot of, you know, a lot of people still, well, those rich CEOs.
- 5:27Yeah, they're they're wealthy.
- 5:31I don't have a doubt in my mind that he's worth a lot of money.
- 5:36He's also working for it.
- 5:37He's also giving advice to people.
- 5:40He's giving career advice to people.
- 5:43You're literally getting a college degree without having to go to college, and that's that's great.
- 5:48This information is out there.
- 5:51Now we have artificial intelligence that I mean, you can literally just it's unreal the amount of opportunities that are out there for people to learn.
- 6:02You can use it for good, or you can use it for bad.
- 6:06You can be a doomsday scroller and just kind of scroll through looking for entertaining videos and waste your time all day, or you can refocus and spend your time in in a constructive way and start searching for free resources that are out there that point you on a career path.
- 6:26And it's kind of interesting.
- 6:27I was looking at the the comments in an article that I found about Chris Kempzinski, he's the McDonald's CEO.
- 6:38Um, he's the one offering the blunt advice that might hurt your feelings.
- 6:42And I'm looking at the comments, and it's the boomers who are commenting, and they're, I mean, they're not wrong, but they're like, wait, people need to be told this.
- 6:55You know, back whenever we were working, we just figured it out.
- 6:58We just did whatever we had to do to make life work.
- 7:03And I do want to talk about that contrast in a little bit, because I think it's really important.
- 7:09You know, we we are living in a time where there's never been as much opportunity to make money as what there is right now.
- 7:17But at the same time, we have this disconnect where people aren't taking advantage of that, or they don't know, and they buy into these age-old narratives that if you don't go to college, you don't have the degree, if you don't bury yourself in 16 trillion dollars in debt in personal debt, then uh, you know, you're never gonna make it in life.
- 7:41So there is a disconnect there, and that's what some of these wealthy people are trying to communicate to the younger people.
- 7:49You know, where the the boomers, and they're absolutely right, they used to, not used to, I mean, they still do it, but they would just hunker down and and they would stop spending.
- 8:04They're like, wait a second, times are tough.
- 8:06The economy, the economy always goes through downturns, always.
- 8:11You know, there's an ebb and a flow, and there are ups and downs, and I think that we're entering in.
- 8:17I've been saying this for a while, but I think we're gonna we've already been since before Trump became president.
- 8:24We're entering into a time of economic downturn.
- 8:29Where the economy is it's going to slow down.
- 8:33The markets are way overdue for a correction.
- 8:38I mean a big correction, bigger than the 20% drop that we saw at the beginning of Trump's term, where it's since rebounded at end some.
- 8:48I think we're I think we're overdue.
- 8:51You know, looking at some of what the economists are saying and just the the history of how the economy works, I think we're in for a very big correction and a lengthy correction.
- 9:03Which translation, it's a recession.
- 9:07Robert Kiyosaki from Rich Dad Poor Dad, he's been sounding this alarm for a long time.
- 9:13He's like, look, we're we're already there.
- 9:19Grant Cardone, same thing.
- 9:22He said about two years ago, he's like, we're we're in a recession.
- 9:27He's like, it might not look like it.
- 9:29They said, dude, we are absolutely in a recession.
- 9:32You're gonna see, you're gonna see housing skyrocket to where houses are not affordable.
- 9:38Look what happened.
- 9:41He was exactly right.
- 9:46And it keeps getting worse.
- 9:49So it will correct.
- 9:50I mean, there's gonna be a period of correction, but times are gonna get tough.
- 9:55There's no doubt about that.
- 9:57I I just it it's a it's a math.
- 10:00Medical certainty.
- 10:02But the question is, how are we preparing for it?
- 10:05And specifically, how are we preparing the young people for it?
- 10:08Because right now their spending habits don't reflect it.
- 10:12You know, it's not like the boomers.
- 10:16Where the boomers, I mean, they would, they'd run ratty old cars until those things wouldn't drive anymore.
- 10:23And then they'd they'd put them on life support and they'd revive them.
- 10:28They'd restore the car once it was, you know, once it didn't have any life left, they'd tear the engines down themselves.
- 10:35They'd go work a full day shift, come home, figure out how to tear an engine down, and they'd rebuild it.
- 10:44You know, that's that's the old school way.
- 10:48They wouldn't go out and be like, oh, I, you know, my car's three years old.
- 10:52I need a dependable car.
- 10:54And they trade their three-year-old car in and buy it, buy another $70,000 car.
- 11:01You know, some of the boomers are that they're just absolutely looking in disbelief.
- 11:06So, you know, I do want to talk about that contrast because I think it's really important.
- 11:10And we need to teach our kids how to be frugal and how to not spend.
- 11:17Not spend frivolously.
- 11:19Um, you know, to to overspend, to spend money on things that that don't matter.
- 11:26You know, the endless toys and the endless gadgets and the endless um gaming and all that stuff that gets so expensive.
- 11:36Sports, my goodness, the amount of money.
- 11:39The parents pump into sports.
- 11:43You know, so we teach our kids to to go in the woods.
- 11:48Go do what we did when we were kids and make a fort.
- 11:54Well, I can't make a fort, then figure it out.
- 11:59It's this beautiful thing called trial and error.
- 12:03And it's completely free when you're when you're uh building something in the woods with rocks and sticks.
- 12:10There's something beautiful about that whole process, and you're dealing with free materials.
- 12:17And I know not everybody lives in the woods.
- 12:19Um, you know, just hear me out here.
- 12:22But we've got to teach our kids to go experiment and to make mistakes to experience failure.
- 12:31You know, a lot of times, a lot of parents, they they shield their kids from ever having to fail, and they spend, spend, spend, spend, spend, and they put money on credit card because God forbid their kid might have to miss out on a sport that they wanted to sign up for or something like that.
- 12:49No is it's an important word, and it's an important sentence, and it's a complete sentence.
- 12:59No, period, that's a complete sentence.
- 13:05And a lot of our younger people don't hear those sentences because parents are like, well, I'll figure it out one way or the other.
- 13:12I'm gonna figure out how to pay for whatever it is.
- 13:14And they just they spin themselves into oblivion and they justify it.
- 13:20So the boomers are like, we didn't do that.
- 13:23You know, we we wore sandwich bags around our shoes.
- 13:29When the souls split and they were taken on water, we would tie garb, you know, the um sandwich bags, the plastic sandwich bags, and they would twist tie them around the uh around the shoes.
- 13:40My mom talks about it.
- 13:44Heck, we did that kind of stuff when we were kids.
- 13:48The recycled clothing and uh the hand-me-downs.
- 13:54We were taught that you don't just throw things out because they they don't look new.
- 14:01You use them until they can't be used anymore, and then you figure out a way if you can, if it's possible.
- 14:09You figure out a way to recycle and to stretch them even more.
- 14:16Yeah, I grew up with that mentality, and I still, and it's just what I was taught.
- 14:20I worked on a farm when I was 11 years old.
- 14:22I was working on a farm, and we learned how to stretch everything and how to be resourceful.
- 14:29You know, at 11 years old, I was put on a tractor, put in a field.
- 14:33We didn't have cell phones back then.
- 14:35Um dating myself here.
- 14:38We didn't have cell phones.
- 14:39We're out in the middle of nowhere by ourselves.
- 14:43I was by myself.
- 14:45We had one little toolbox with a couple tools.
- 14:49We had like a 916 wrench, a half-inch wrench.
- 14:52I can still remember what the tools were.
- 14:54There's a 916th wrench, a half-inch wrench, a pair of vice grips, two screwdrivers.
- 15:01There was a flathead, and there was a um a Phillips, and a couple other, you know, black electrical tape, a couple little odds and ends, and that was it.
- 15:15And if we broke down, we were expected to at least try to figure it out.
- 15:23You know, the the rule was don't let me come back and find you just sitting doing nothing.
- 15:31If you're broken down, try to figure it out.
- 15:34It may not be fixable.
- 15:36You may not, with the tools that you have and the limited knowledge you have, it might not be fixable, but you better try.
- 15:43You better darn well try.
- 15:45And so it taught us how to be resourceful.
- 15:50How to not be dependent on other people.
- 15:53You know, now it's uh it it's it's crazy.
- 15:57Like people can't find the end of the parking lot without putting it in GPS.
- 16:04And we've got to do something.
- 16:07We've got to educate our young people.
- 16:10And I'm not talking down to them.
- 16:11I'm not belittling them.
- 16:12I'm just saying, you know, it's we need to educate them.
- 16:16The boomers might not have needed that education because they just kind of figured it out.
- 16:20But I think it's great that we have people given education to young people.
- 16:25I think it's fantastic.
- 16:27So when I saw this story, and I'm like, the the McDonald's CEO is giving free advice to to young people.
- 16:33I'm like, it caught my attention.
- 16:35I'm like, this is really cool.
- 16:37I got to do a story on this.
- 16:39We need more people like him.
- 16:41And he's not making fun of young people.
- 16:44That's the thing.
- 16:45A lot of people want to point fingers and laugh at the young people.
- 16:48I've seen people take videos of younger people trying to change a tire and they're they're mocking them, making fun of them.
- 16:54They're like, oh, you don't you don't know how to change a tire back in my day?
- 16:58I'm like, why don't you teach them?
- 17:01Let them do it, but talk them through it.
- 17:03Isn't that better than pointing a camera at them and making fun of them?
- 17:08So that's why I like this story so much.
- 17:10It's it's very practical.

- 19:15America out loud news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outlook.
- 19:30McDonald's CEO, Chris Kempzinski, recently shared some hard truths and advice, career advice to young people.
- 19:41He said it may hurt your feelings.
- 19:43I love that he's doing this.
- 19:45I love that he's on Instagram.
- 19:47You know, this is so much better than uh our governor here in Pennsylvania, TikTok Josh, who's putting, you know, trying to look cool.
- 19:56And uh, you know, he's uh it's just getting weird.
- 19:59He's doing
- 20:00A lot of really weird stuff, and I I don't know what it is about politicians and the ick factor where they're they're making these cringe videos trying to be relevant, trying to look cool, and you just see them and you're like, yeah, you're trying a little too hard, buddy.
- 20:16Like tone it down a notch.
- 20:19Next thing you're gonna see some of these politicians in their skinny jeans, you know, they're ripped skinny jeans trying to trying to look super cool.
- 20:27They're already doing like these weird music videos, and it's just it's getting bizarre, folks.
- 20:33I mean, it's entertaining, don't get me wrong.
- 20:35But boy, is it bizarre?
- 20:38So when people are using people who have power and they have a platform, when they're using social media for good, I am all over that.
- 20:47I think it's great.
- 20:49So, in a video posted to his Instagram account, he titled a video called Tough Love with the McDonald's CEO.
- 21:01Chris Kempzinski.
- 21:03He encouraged people to take full ownership of their professional journeys rather than waiting around for others to open up doors for them.
- 21:13In the video, he said this.
- 21:16The advice I would give is remember, nobody cares about your career as much as you do.
- 21:24So this idea that there's somebody out there who's looking out for you, who's going to make sure that you get that opportunity, who puts you in the right thing, great if it happens, but at the end of the day, nobody cares more about your career than you do.
- 21:42That's so spot on that I can't pick that apart.
- 21:46He's absolutely right.
- 21:49Nobody's looking out for you.
- 21:51Nobody's gonna push that door open and pull you in and coddle you and tell you how great you are and how smart you are and how fantastic you are.
- 22:03And this is important because this is the line of crap that young people are being taught in schools and and colleges, you know, the universities, they're being taught that we need people to stand up for your rights.
- 22:19You know, we're gonna fight until everybody basically rolls the red carpet out for you and bows down to you and kisses your pinky ring.
- 22:29And so the sense of entitlement is being taught.
- 22:33It's being taught to the young people that you're entitled, you're entitled to free college, you're entitled to free health care, you're entitled to you name it.
- 22:45You know, you're entitled to property.
- 22:50You're entitled to a really nice car because you've you've earned it.
- 22:57Nobody's entitled to any of that stuff.
- 23:02And in what world?
- 23:04I mean, think about think about your life.
- 23:07In what world do people bend over backwards and roll the red carpet out for you because they just they treat you like royalty?
- 23:17I've sure not experienced that in my life.
- 23:20Not saying that I don't have great friends and people who've been there beside me, you know, through tough times.
- 23:26Yeah, we we all we all have a handful of people, but those are friends.
- 23:33I I've never had people just roll out the red carpet and treat me like royalty and just kick doors open for me, and I just walk through because somehow I deserve it.
- 23:47That's not been my experience, not been my wife's experience, it's not been any of my friends' experiences, and I'm certain that's not been any of your experiences.
- 24:01But yeah, they're being taught that socialism, wasn't it?
- 24:05Um, what was her name?
- 24:06Amanda Sayfried.
- 24:09She's been uh mouthing off, you know, running her mouth on online and just being absolutely crude, and uh then she wrote, I don't know if it was just to get her eyes or if she really believes it.
- 24:25I sadly I think I think she believes it, but she said something like socialism is such a beautiful thing.
- 24:35Then go to a socialist nation.
- 24:39Better yet, go to a communist nation.
- 24:43Go to Venezuela.
- 24:45If it's such a beautiful thing, go to Venezuela, go to Cuba, go live there, Amanda.
- 24:56That's such a beautiful thing.
- 24:58We gotta bring it here to America.
- 25:02We don't need to bring it here, just go live somewhere where they they already have it, they have it implemented.
- 25:09If it's such a beautiful thing, just go check it out.
- 25:13Nobody's stopping you.
- 25:17It's tried and tested, and it's been implemented for years.
- 25:22We don't have to start over, we don't have to convince people to be socialists.
- 25:26They're already socialist nations.
- 25:28Just go check it out, go live there.
- 25:33Here we go.
- 25:34I I'm gonna read this article.
- 25:36I looked it up.
- 25:37Amanda Sayfried.
- 25:38Um it's not a beautiful thing, it's a gorgeous idea.
- 25:42That's what she said.
- 25:43Socialism is a gorgeous idea.
- 25:45She said that during a podcast.
- 25:48And I want to look at the quote here because I I think it's really important to see how people think about this.
- 25:56I mean, this is how this is what we're up against.
- 25:59So again, when I see the McDonald's CEO pushing back against this idea, I love it.
- 26:05I think it's fantastic.
- 26:06And you know who I'm more likely to listen to?
- 26:09Somebody who's wildly successful at running a business, at hiring people.
- 26:17Somebody who employs thousands of people.
- 26:22So here's the article.
- 26:23During a conversation on Variety's award circuit podcast, say described what the word socialism meant to her as she and host Michael Schneider lamented the state of the country.
- 26:38Here it is, you know, America's just so terrible, it's full of terrible people, it's awful, we're on the wrong track.
- 26:45This goes back to that study.
- 26:47I I think it was the uh Pew Research study that I did a show on where I was I was showing that the Democrats have pulled the the percentage way in the wrong direction, where they just they hate America, they think it's terrible, they think we're on the wrong path, they think negatively, uh, we're all doomed.
- 27:08And and Republicans are like, no.
- 27:12It's like something like 80 some percent, almost 90% of Republicans are like, no, we're we're happy in America.
- 27:21But Democrats are they're embarrassed to live here, they're ashamed of our country.
- 27:26So when you get this kind of negativity and this kind of crap, it fuels hatred, it fuels violence, it makes people depressed.
- 27:39This is what the news media pedals all the time, you know, it's America's such a terrible place.
- 27:44Look at all the bad things going on.
- 27:46That's why I push back against this, and and that's why the show exists.
- 27:51To show that, yeah, I mean, certainly there are bad things that happen.
- 27:55There are everywhere.
- 27:59We'd be ridiculous to deny that there's not bad in the world.
- 28:07But here's the deal.
- 28:09There's a whole lot of good going on.
- 28:14So at any rate, here's the conversation.
- 28:17You know, America, terrible place.
- 28:20That's what I lament, it's such a terrible place, it's awful.
- 28:23There's so much bad going on.
- 28:25So they agreed that they didn't want to leave the U.S.
- 28:27Isn't that fascinating?
- 28:30You know, on the one hand, you have some people who do leave.
- 28:33By the way, I heard I I didn't look this up, but I uh I saw that there were articles floating around that said that Ellen de Generous is like really not happy that she left.
- 28:48She left the US and um she wants to come back.
- 28:53Isn't that fascinating?
- 28:55Yeah, don't say.
- 28:58Yeah, here we go.
- 28:59I looked it up because I don't want to give misinformation to the best of my ability, but here, um recent reports late in 2025 indicate that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRousey are planning a return to the US, specifically California after you've moving to the UK post-Trump's election.
- 29:19They miss Hollywood, their friends, and the warm weather.
- 29:24And Portia wants to act again.
- 29:28Huh.
- 29:31Um you don't say.
- 29:41So you have those people who want to leave, and some actually do, very few.
- 29:46I mean, there's a very small amount who actually do leave.
- 29:50But they leave, and then they find out how long's Ellen been gone.
- 29:54What?
- 29:55A year?
- 29:57A little over a year, maybe.
- 30:00She wants to claw her way back into the U.S.
- 30:05She doesn't like the cold.
- 30:07It's it's cold, it's a lonely.
- 30:10It's not the life she thought.
- 30:12You know, get away from this horrible country, America, and we're gonna, you know, under this tyrant Donald Trump.
- 30:18Well, now, guess what?
- 30:21They want to come back.
- 30:24I love it.
- 30:24I think it's hilarious.
- 30:27So anyway, then you have the other people who don't want to leave.
- 30:30They just want to bring socialism to America.
- 30:32Well, again, why don't you go to a socialist nation if it's such a gorgeous thing?
- 30:39Go try it out.
- 30:40So the pair agreed they didn't want to leave the U.S.
- 30:42following a discussion about Amanda Sayfried's role in The Testament of Anne Lee.
- 30:49It's a musical about the founder of the Shakers religious movement, Anne Lee.
- 30:56Um, here's what Stafried said.
- 30:59We're kicking our own out.
- 31:01And then I keep thinking, what's she talking about?
- 31:04We're kicking our own out.
- 31:07I keep thinking, thank God we're talking about Anne Lee so much because there's a direct relationship to what she created and what we're lacking.
- 31:18How about we all don't have any kind of agendas?
- 31:23How about our agenda is take care of each other?
- 31:27There it is.
- 31:28It's exactly what the McDonald's CEO is pushing back against.
- 31:33This idea that we're all here to, you know, people are going to take care of you.
- 31:39They're going to open doors for you, and they're going to build your career path for you.
- 31:47Stayfried goes on.
- 31:48This is a direct quote.
- 31:50Socialism is a gorgeous idea, and I know why it doesn't work perfectly.
- 31:56Uh-huh.
- 31:57There it is.
- 32:00Yeah, it's a gorgeous idea.
- 32:02The idea of socialism.
- 32:05Oh, it's so gorgeous.
- 32:06It's so beautiful, this utopia, and everybody lives happily ever after.
- 32:10And you take from the rich and you give to the poor, and you read uh redistribute the wealth, and you know, there are no more homeless and no more sick people and no more sad people, and everybody's happy and they're all getting along, and there's no crime, and it's just so beautiful.
- 32:27What a gorgeous idea.
- 32:32And I know why it doesn't work perfectly.
- 32:36It will never work.
- 32:38It doesn't work.
- 32:39It can't work.
- 32:43It's a terrible idea.
- 32:44It's not a it's not a gorgeous idea.
- 32:48It's actually a terrible idea.
- 32:50The very idea of people taking against your will, taking your money and giving that.
- 32:56I mean, it's it's it's Robin Hood.
- 33:00Right?
- 33:00Stealing money from the rich and giving it back to the poor.
- 33:07As if somehow you don't deserve to build wealth.
- 33:13We're gonna keep you humble.
- 33:15We're gonna keep you from getting uh too big of a head.
- 33:20By stripping away everything that you put your life into.
- 33:24We're gonna take that away from you, and we're gonna give it to the poor people.
- 33:28And specifically, we'll give it to people who don't want to work.
- 33:33We're not gonna discriminate under socialism.
- 33:36Everybody's equal.
- 33:38We're all the same, and uh, we're gonna redistribute that wealth.
- 33:43And for the people who don't want to work, that's a beautiful thing.
- 33:47Because at least they'll be fed and at least they'll have houses, beautiful houses.
- 33:55Socialism doesn't work.
- 34:00Schneider in in the podcast said that people don't know what the word actually means.
- 34:06Uh, here we go.
- 34:07So we're we're gonna socialism's been around forever.
- 34:12We just need to re-educate people.
- 34:14We need to reframe it.
- 34:17People just they need to know that they're actually missing out.
- 34:22It's not been properly defined.
- 34:24That's the problem.
- 34:25The reason it's not working is because we haven't defined it properly.
- 34:32So listen to what he said.
- 34:34For me, it's taking care of each other.
- 34:38Oh no, that's Seifried who said that.
- 34:40For me, it's taking care of each other.
- 34:42If I have more money, I can spend more money on other people.
- 34:46Isn't that right?
- 34:49Yeah, it's called free will.
- 34:51It's called be a decent human.
- 34:53It's what the Bible talks about.
- 34:56Don't be tight-fisted towards the poor, but you do it willingly.
- 35:00You do it because you want to do it.
- 35:03What does Paul say?
- 35:05For God loves a cheerful giver.
- 35:09You do it out of your abundance.
- 35:10You do it because you want to, not because you've been taxed into oblivion, and the government forces that money out of your hand and into the pockets of people who you don't get to decide who it goes to.
- 35:23I don't know about you, but I don't want my hard-earned money going to people who refuse to work.
- 35:31And again, that's not all poor people.
- 35:34But there are people.
- 35:36I've literally had multiple people tell me, why would I get a job?
- 35:42I'm living quite well, living off the system.
- 35:47I get health care.
- 35:51I get assistance, I get lie heap.
- 35:55You know, in the wintertime, I I get my utilities paid for.
- 35:58I get all these benefits that I wouldn't get if I was working a job.
- 36:02Why would I, why in the world would I want to work?
- 36:04I've literally had multiple people tell me that.
- 36:08It's not where I want my tax dollars going.
- 36:11Not just tax dollars, it's my money.
- 36:15The money that I earned, and especially for entrepreneurs, it's hard enough to run a business and to keep that business going.
- 36:23And now all of a sudden that they they want to tax you to the point where you're overhead so high that you can't, you can't afford to keep your business open anymore.
- 36:32Nobody wants to do that.
- 36:36But yeah, Stafried, you know, she said, well, you know, they brought up nine 9-11, you know.
- 36:45There was a sense of unity after where everybody had each other's backs.
- 36:49Yeah, because it wasn't forced.
- 36:52Stafried said everybody dropped everything for each other.
- 36:55People sacrificed their lives without a thought in the world.
- 36:58So now let's force people to do it.
- 37:02So bizarre.

- 39:46McDonald's CEO is dropping some hard truths for people, specifically for young people.
- 39:52And I think this is really cool.
- 39:54I think it's inspiring.
- 40:00Is and how we care about people, right?
- 40:08That these rich people, these rich CEOs, they're not the greedy fear mongers and nasty people who politicians want you to think they are.
- 40:23So here's what he said.
- 40:26I want to read this quote again.
- 40:28This is Chris Kempzinski, CEO of McDonald's, wildly successful.
- 40:34He's kind of a younger dude.
- 40:37He said the advice I would give is this.
- 40:40Remember, nobody cares about your career as much as you do.
- 40:44So this idea that there's somebody out there who's looking out for you, who's going to make sure that you get that opportunity, who puts you in the right thing, great if it happens.
- 40:55But at the end of the day, nobody cares more about your career than you do.
- 41:01I love that.
- 41:06You know, when I went into ministry when I was young, and I was the youngest in my class, and I skipped my senior year.
- 41:15So I was young.
- 41:16I was just barely 17 years old when I started college.
- 41:20And you know, of course, young people, they think they have it all figured out, and um, at least some of them, but uh I I just I was kind of floundering, and finally I was like, you know, thinking about going into ministry.
- 41:36Do you know that I had zero people who are supportive?
- 41:41There was not one person who said that that is a fantastic idea.
- 41:47In fact, let me kick some doors down, and let me make sure that that's the career that's gonna work out for you.
- 41:56Let me give you people who you can talk to who've been in ministry.
- 42:01Let me let me point you to the right people.
- 42:04You know, I didn't have any of that.
- 42:06In fact, what I got was the polar opposite.
- 42:09I had people telling me, you run from ministry, do not go into ministry.
- 42:16It'll tear your life apart, it'll tear your family apart, it doesn't pay well, you're always gonna be living in poverty.
- 42:24You know, I I heard all of those things.
- 42:28And there are some truths to it, and I get people are trying to protect me.
- 42:32Ministry, I'm very open about it.
- 42:35It does not pay well.
- 42:38Um, I'm making way below what it what is average.
- 42:45Um, even for people in ministry.
- 42:47I have a master's degree.
- 42:51Um, I've spent a lot of time, I've spent nine years in college and graduate level getting my degrees.
- 43:00I don't get benefits, I don't get health insurance, I don't get retirement.
- 43:06You know, and so I was told it's gonna stuck you dry, it's you're gonna you're gonna die poor.
- 43:12You know, all these doomsday scenarios.
- 43:16And guess what?
- 43:18I'm doing quite fine.
- 43:22I I learned how to be resourceful.
- 43:26I learned that nobody out there is going to take care of me, right?
- 43:30I was brought up with that mentality, and it's true.
- 43:33I mean, no offense to my church.
- 43:35I love them, they're fantastic, but they don't care about my retirement.
- 43:41If they did, they would they would offer it to me.
- 43:46They don't care about my health insurance.
- 43:48If they did, they would offer it to me.
- 43:51They don't care about my kids' health.
- 43:55If they did, they'd cover a policy, they'd find a way to make it work.
- 44:02But I'm on my own.
- 44:04And I'm okay with that.
- 44:05I'm not complaining.
- 44:06You don't hear me complaining.
- 44:09You know, I could I could go find a job and make double what I make.
- 44:13I mean, literally.
- 44:15I could walk out the door and make double what I make and get benefits.
- 44:22But I love the work I do.
- 44:24I love ministry, I love the people.
- 44:28So I figured out how to be resourceful.
- 44:31I figured out how to not overspend and overextend myself.
- 44:35I figured out how to put money into my own retirement, open my own retirement account and other accounts.
- 44:43I learned how to build wealth and prepare myself and my family for retirement.
- 44:49I learned how to find when Obamacare passed and I had unaffordable health insurance.
- 44:55I figured out, I didn't come to the church and was like, you know, socialism is a gorgeous idea.
- 45:00You need to take care of me.
- 45:02I didn't come back and say that.
- 45:04I said, I'm gonna look and see what options are out there.
- 45:08We found a marvelous, marvelous, very affordable way to get around.
- 45:14We don't have traditional health care.
- 45:18We found a marvelous way to be covered and to not put that on in the church.
- 45:25I never asked the church.
- 45:28I could have come back, I could have used that as leverage.
- 45:30I could have threatened them, I could have been like, you know, if you don't give this to me, I'm gonna walk out the door.
- 45:36And believe me, it's hard to find pastors.
- 45:41It's very hard.
- 45:44You know, when when pastors leave, it puts the church in a very, very tough spot.
- 45:49I could have used that as leverage easily and said, you either do this or you're gonna spend the next six years trying to find a replacement.
- 46:01And they probably would have probably would have found a way to make that work if they had to, if I forced them to do that.
- 46:12But that's not me.
- 46:13I don't like socialism.
- 46:15I don't like forcing people to do things, forcing people's hand, telling me what they have to do because it's owed to me.
- 46:25So, yeah, um Chris Kemzinski is 100% right.
- 46:31Nobody cares at the end of the day, nobody cares more about your career than you do.
- 46:38You take pride in what you do, you figure it out, you make it work, you go down the right path, and you're gonna be taken care of.
- 46:47So he goes on.
- 46:48He said, You've got to own it.
- 46:50You've got to make things happen for yourself.
- 46:54He's a hundred percent right.
- 46:56This is so right.
- 46:57I just I'm shouting from the rooftop, and like I'm getting loud here, even talking into the microphone.
- 47:03I'm applauding him 100%.
- 47:05This is what capitalism looks like.
- 47:10You go figure it out.
- 47:13Don't worry about what other people tell you that you have to do, or what career path you have to take, or what education you have to get.
- 47:21Don't worry about what other people are telling you to do.
- 47:24Nobody cares more about your career path than you do.
- 47:28Nobody.
- 47:31That includes your parents, that includes your friends.
- 47:34Nobody cares more about your career path than you do.
- 47:41So this is great.
- 47:4250,000 people are here in this.
- 47:47He's got 50,000 followers, and I hope it continues to grow.
- 47:50I hope he gets more.
- 48:00Clearly, he's not a social media guru.
- 48:04He's not like, you know, building this massive millions of followers.
- 48:10But that's not what he cares about.
- 48:14He cares about his job.
- 48:15He cares about putting the hard work in, making McDonald's work.
- 48:22Hiring people, structuring it in a healthy way.
- 48:28Dropping truth bombs for people, helping guide the young generation because unfortunately, their teachers aren't doing it.
- 48:36Their teachers are putting them on a really bizarre path.
- 48:39You have the Amanda Stayfried's of the world.
- 48:43Socialism is such a gorgeous idea.
- 48:46Now I know why it doesn't work.
- 48:52If you're that smart, go to countries where they're they're implementing it and fix it for them.
- 49:02And then Schneider, well, we just need to, it's a it's a terminology issue, right?
- 49:08People just they don't know that it's good for them.
- 49:13Right?
- 49:13We just need to rebrand it.
- 49:15That's that's the problem.
- 49:17We've got to educate people.
- 49:19We've got to teach it in the schools.
- 49:22We've got to rebrand it and teach people that socialism is good.
- 49:26It's good for them.
- 49:30These people are nuts.
- 49:34So again, to quote Amanda Safe Reed, for me, it's taking care of each other.
- 49:39If I have more money, I can spend more money on other people.
- 49:42Isn't that right?
- 49:44No, it's not right.
- 49:45You know why?
- 49:48Because you're not gonna have more money.
- 49:51Because socialism takes it away from you.
- 49:54The harder you work, the more they take.
- 50:02Am I wrong?
- 50:06Look at Venezuela.
- 50:10People are losing weight.
- 50:12There are videos.
- 50:13I saw a recent video of a Venezuelan, and this man is showing how he had to poke more holes in his belt because he keeps losing more and more weight because he's literally starving to death.
- 50:28Meanwhile, their good old Prez is getting fatter and fatter.
- 50:34It's kind of like Kim Jong-un, right?
- 50:38In North Korea.
- 50:41He's obese.
- 50:44And he's literally starving the majority of the people in his country on purpose.
- 50:53Socialism is such a beautiful idea.
- 50:57You have more money, right?
- 50:58So you can spend it on other people.
- 51:00Isn't that right?
- 51:02No.
- 51:03It's completely wrong.
- 51:07We should just, this beautiful, this gorgeous idea.
- 51:10We just take care of each other by forcing money out of the hands of wealthy people and putting it into the hands of poor people.
- 51:18Isn't that a beautiful idea?
- 51:19Isn't that a gorgeous idea?
- 51:21Nope.
- 51:24It's a terrible idea.
- 51:28So this idea that we're all going to take care of people are going to take care of you.
- 51:33And right, Biden did that crap.
- 51:36He was out there telling telling people the government's going to take care of you.
- 51:40We're going to eliminate your debt.
- 51:43We're going to wipe out your debt.
- 51:46Okay, what about the next round of people?
- 51:49You're going to do that indefinitely.
- 51:53Nope.
- 51:54You know why?
- 51:57Because there's not enough money.
- 52:01People are going to catch on and uh there's they're going to revolt eventually.
- 52:09So they they tied this somehow into what happened after 9-11.
- 52:16Sayfried said uh everybody dropped everything for each other.
- 52:20People sacrificed their lives without a thought in the world.
- 52:24And we shouldn't have to have a meteor or a house on fire situation in order to drop everything for each other.
- 52:33That's just what we are as human beings.
- 52:36Well, you know what, Amanda?
- 52:38Like out here in the real world where people aren't living in their gated communities.
- 52:45People aren't waiting for a meteor or a house fire situation to drop everything.
- 52:50People just do it.
- 52:51I do stories on it literally every single day.
- 52:57Every time there's a natural disaster, literally every single time.
- 53:02People are there, not just short term.
- 53:04They're there to stay.
- 53:05They hunker down, they do the hard thing, they just help each other out.
- 53:08They do it happily.
- 53:12But you know what people do when you start forcing them to do it.
- 53:17All of a sudden it takes the joy away.
- 53:21It takes the will away from people.
- 53:24And people refuse to step in and help.
- 53:28When the government takes over, it takes the will of the people away.
- 53:33And they don't want to help anymore.
- 53:36They're like, well, if this is how it's going to be, I just, I'm not going to lift a finger because then the regulations come in.
- 53:42I experienced this.
- 53:46When there were a tornado outbreak in what was it, 2009?
- 53:52Like 500 tornadoes that broke out across the United States.
- 53:56I went and helped in Virginia, and the government came in and tried to keep all volunteers out of the state of Virginia.
- 54:06I was told by the mayor of the town that we went, we went anyway.
- 54:10We were like, screw you guys.
- 54:11We're going to go help because that's what we do.
- 54:15But we're told that there might be government officials, and if they see you working, they're going to fine every volunteer.
- 54:23The number of hours that you worked, they're going to fine you what Virginia was going to be paying government workers, government contracted workers, they're going to fine you that amount, the number of hours.
- 54:36It's like hundreds of dollars an hour.
- 54:39I was like, sign me up.
- 54:40We're going.
- 54:50We cleaned up the streets.
- 54:53And we did it voluntarily.
- 54:55We did it on our dime.
- 54:56We did it happily.
- 54:58We prayed with people.
- 54:59We weren't regulated.
- 55:01When the government comes in, when you have socialism, they regulate the living daylights out of everything.
- 55:09So back to the CEO of McDonald's.
- 55:16He's 100% right.
- 55:18Do not you dare let other people tell you that all these people are lining up to take care of you and to they're going to guide you and direct you and everybody's going to have your back.
- 55:33He says, nope.
- 55:34Here's the hard truth.
- 55:36Nobody cares about you.
- 55:39It may hurt your feelings.
- 55:41Nobody cares about your career more than you do.
- 55:44You put the hard work in.
- 55:46And when you do that, my oh my, is it rewarding?
- 55:52When you put the time and the effort in, it is absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt, rewarding and great and grateful and fantastic and beautiful.
- 56:06That's what's beautiful, Amanda Seifried.
- 56:10When people figure it out on their own and they're resourceful and they're blessed, and they let God bless them.
- 56:18You know, it's interesting.
- 56:19Seifried never mentions God.
- 56:23It's all about forcing having the government force people into being kind.
- 56:29Isn't that a gorgeous idea?
- 56:30Nope.
- 56:31Nope, it's not.
- 56:34I'd much rather have God bless us.
- 56:39And we willingly help people, whoever we choose, we get to decide.
- 56:46We get to pick who we help.
- 56:50We don't have the government do it for us.
- 56:53And tell us, oh, we've got your back.
- 56:55Wink wink.
- 56:57We'll help guide you into the right career.
- 57:01No thanks.
- 57:03I'm good.
- 57:04So I love that Chris Kempzinski, CEO of McDonald's, is dropping some truth bombs on people.
- 57:14Fantastic.

- 57:30There is a hidden lightness that shines inside of all of us.
- 57:33When there's so much darkness that envelops the world, remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:40Join me in being a light.
