- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy, Meloncats and Tamra Jedge.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hi guys, welcome to Two Teas in a Pod with myself,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Teddy Mellancamp and tamn Raid Judge. Hey, Teddy, Hey, how's
- 0:20Speaker 1: it going. It's going good? Your home now? Right? You
- 0:24Speaker 1: all called out? I'm as cancelled out as you possibly
- 0:28Speaker 1: can be. But I can't wait till you go next
- 0:30Speaker 1: weekend and I've never been. It was something we did
- 0:34Speaker 1: like a last minute with another couple. They wanted to go.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We're like, yeah, sure we'll go, and I'm like, oh god,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I have the week from health and sorry sending money
- 0:41Speaker 1: today Wednesday you were doing that live pod to live
- 0:43Speaker 1: podcast next week and out of town. Like I'm like,
- 0:46Speaker 1: I don't know what I was thinking. It's well, you're
- 0:47Speaker 1: gonna be thinking exactly what I'm thinking right now, which
- 0:50Speaker 1: is why did I do this? But it was fun
- 0:52Speaker 1: in the moment and excitingly enough, we have Caroline Stanbury
- 0:57Speaker 1: on with us, who you guys all fell in love
- 1:00Speaker 1: with her on Ladies of London. However, she is about
- 1:03Speaker 1: to be coming on the Real Housewives of Dubai, which
- 1:06Speaker 1: premiers June one. I can't wait, it can't come soon enough,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and she also has a very popular podcast, Divorced Not Dead.
- 1:15Speaker 1: After her breakup, the mother of three found happiness in
- 1:18Speaker 1: Dubai with former Real Madrid soccer player Sergio very handsome,
- 1:24Speaker 1: very handsome, handsome. Alrighty, we'll get right into it. I
- 1:29Speaker 1: know we are so excited you're back on TV. I
- 1:31Speaker 1: actually watched about three episodes of Ladies of London last night.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It was one of my favorites. Really bummed when it
- 1:38Speaker 1: went off the air and the episode I think you
- 1:40Speaker 1: were in Scotland. Oh my god? Yes, does it seemed
- 1:44Speaker 1: like forever ago? It was forever ago, eight years. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: think it's how does it feel to be back on Bravo? Well,
- 1:54Speaker 1: you know what hasn't hit yet, has it? I mean
- 1:57Speaker 1: it's different because they were my friends and family, you know,
- 2:00Speaker 1: sort of really good friends and this. You know. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: just I've only been here a few years so that
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't know. It's not that they can't get to
- 2:07Speaker 1: me the same way. I think my family decn So
- 2:12Speaker 1: what would you say other than that the biggest difference
- 2:15Speaker 1: filming Ladies of London versus Real Housewives Dubai is hindsight hindsight,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm you know, I'm I'm prepared, and I think when
- 2:28Speaker 1: you weren't prepared before, you sort of you understand that.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I think you've you've probably all seen that. You know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: people don't really have lines, right, you do. See I
- 2:43Speaker 1: was the opposite. When I wasn't prepared, I did pretty well.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But then when I started preparing, then I was a
- 2:48Speaker 1: disaster because I started overthinking everything too much into your
- 2:51Speaker 1: head and I got too much into my head. So
- 2:53Speaker 1: I think it can really work either way. So you
- 2:56Speaker 1: were you not friends with most of the cast members
- 2:58Speaker 1: going into it? No, I mean I knew them from
- 3:01Speaker 1: around town. We all knew each other because you know,
- 3:04Speaker 1: Dubai's the size of the shoe. Um. But you know,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've never been my husband spent but I have not.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But it's on our list of things to do to
- 3:14Speaker 1: try to. You know, your family had your family know
- 3:18Speaker 1: how to rile you, don't they? I forgot that you
- 3:22Speaker 1: had family on Ladies of London. Your your sister in
- 3:25Speaker 1: law was on right? Was that your sister in law
- 3:27Speaker 1: SOPHI Yeah, and then Adela went to school with me.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You know it's like, um, so you know, and some
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the girls I've known since I was like fifteen,
- 3:36Speaker 1: so you know, you're like siblings. You could kill each other.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Dubai has only been going, you know, around forty five years,
- 3:42Speaker 1: so you know nobody has those relationships. Yeah. You actually
- 3:47Speaker 1: had a cast member that passed away into Yeah, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: Annabelle without her name. Yeah, that tragic, very sad, so heartbreaking. Um.
- 3:59Speaker 1: In regards to Dubai, how many episodes do you think
- 4:03Speaker 1: that we're going to get? Oh? God, I don't know.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, they don't tell us these things. Did you
- 4:10Speaker 1: have any hesitation about going back? Or you're like, yes,
- 4:14Speaker 1: did I have any hesitation? No, not at all. I
- 4:17Speaker 1: was I was ready. You know, I've had a really
- 4:19Speaker 1: nice niatus, you know, isn't it You're like, oh, won't
- 4:23Speaker 1: do that again, and then you're like, okay, let's go.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So it's just just I'm a different person, and it's um,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I'm actually interested to see how different I look from
- 4:33Speaker 1: where I was to where I am. Now. You guys
- 4:43Speaker 1: were recently I don't know if you were, but a
- 4:45Speaker 1: few of them were recently in New York City. I
- 4:46Speaker 1: think it was last week. Is that where you do
- 4:50Speaker 1: your confessionals? Do you not do them in Dubai. Now
- 4:53Speaker 1: we do them in Dubai. Oh I thought that you
- 4:55Speaker 1: were there somebody times. You were there to do confessionals.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I thought that's weird. We did the what you call
- 4:59Speaker 1: it a thing where you turn around and oh what
- 5:04Speaker 1: are you? Yeah? What are you guys holding? What is
- 5:06Speaker 1: your I'm not sure I'm allowed to tell you that. Okay,
- 5:09Speaker 1: don't tell a son. Well, let me just give us
- 5:12Speaker 1: a head. Do you drink it? Eat it? Or is
- 5:14Speaker 1: it an object? It's an object? Okay, all right, I
- 5:20Speaker 1: bet there'll be some sluice that can definitely figure it's
- 5:23Speaker 1: not a camel? Can you write it? Are there any
- 5:32Speaker 1: of you guys not speaking right now? Or is everybody on?
- 5:35Speaker 1: We're actually getting on? So you actually like the girls
- 5:40Speaker 1: you're working with? Yeah? Yeah, I mean I have my moments,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but you know again, I'm I'm I'm a pricky pair too,
- 5:46Speaker 1: So you know it makes you so good on TV.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You see when we see your kids on TV? Yes, yes,
- 5:55Speaker 1: that you have three two boys and a girl. Right.
- 5:57Speaker 1: How old are they now? So? Yes? Mean just turned
- 6:00Speaker 1: sixteen and this weekend my boys turned twelve, So twins.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So I'm doing two parties this weekend. I literally just
- 6:08Speaker 1: landed back and I'm like full on back into mom
- 6:11Speaker 1: mode and business mode. It's crazy. Now, did your ex
- 6:15Speaker 1: live in Dubai as well? He does? He does? You
- 6:18Speaker 1: know that's good? That makes sense with him this morning? Actually, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: do you think you'll ever move back to London? Iren't
- 6:24Speaker 1: going to stay get back with my ex? I'm like, no,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm not that big of assholes. I think your heart
- 6:32Speaker 1: has um uh No, I will never. I don't think so.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I mean, I think I'm kind of a believer in
- 6:39Speaker 1: once you know, go, always pushing forward. Um with with life.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It takes you once you go. It's very hard for
- 6:47Speaker 1: me to turn back. I never really look back. I mean,
- 6:49Speaker 1: you know, and in any my life. Well, speaking of
- 6:53Speaker 1: not looking back, is it true that you haven't spoken
- 6:56Speaker 1: to Caprice since Ladies of London Season one? Yeah? Never, never? Never.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I think we ran into it each other at a party, um,
- 7:08Speaker 1: which was quite awkward actually, but no, I mean there's
- 7:11Speaker 1: a couple of girls I haven't spoken to I never.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You know from from the show why was Ladies of
- 7:16Speaker 1: London Ladies of London and that the real Housewife of
- 7:19Speaker 1: London was that ever a conversation. Yeah, it was. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: think I get asked that a lot. It was actually
- 7:25Speaker 1: a lot was to do with when when we were
- 7:27Speaker 1: doing it. I mean, I mean, I don't know if
- 7:29Speaker 1: it's true or not what Caprice had said that they
- 7:31Speaker 1: had said housewives Turner. You have to remember when we
- 7:34Speaker 1: we did it in London, there wasn't many reality shows
- 7:39Speaker 1: around at all. We were one of the first. I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think you had made an essex and things like this,
- 7:44Speaker 1: which was really low brow compared to what we were
- 7:47Speaker 1: going to do. And your shows Housewives for us was
- 7:51Speaker 1: really really shocking. Um. You know, there was table flipping
- 7:56Speaker 1: and swearing, and we're all from old English, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 1: background out and we're like, you know, we will never
- 8:02Speaker 1: be allowed into anywhere again if we go on that show.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And I think that they stem from literally are saying
- 8:09Speaker 1: we can't be housewives. You know at those days, You've
- 8:11Speaker 1: got to remember what it was eight years and nine
- 8:14Speaker 1: years ago. It just started. So you had you know,
- 8:16Speaker 1: Theresa Judas flipping tables. You know, that's all the English
- 8:20Speaker 1: had seen. Um. And and so I think we all
- 8:24Speaker 1: kicked up a fuss back then that we didn't want
- 8:26Speaker 1: to be housewives as we said in hindsight, we probably
- 8:29Speaker 1: should have been look at you. Now you've mentioned, you've
- 8:35Speaker 1: mentioned in interviews that Britain rich people are taught not
- 8:39Speaker 1: to flaunt their money. However, in Dubai, wealthy people can
- 8:45Speaker 1: undershameably put all their jewelry on at once. So how
- 8:49Speaker 1: has that transition been for you. Well, it's funny because
- 8:52Speaker 1: it's exactly that. I mean, especially now with everything as
- 8:55Speaker 1: well in England, with old British money, you're you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: literally people have cars souls, and then you're taught to
- 9:01Speaker 1: turn off all the lights and share a bath with
- 9:03Speaker 1: your family like and I'm not even joking. You run
- 9:06Speaker 1: a hot bar, one person gets in, then the next
- 9:09Speaker 1: person goes. It's disgusting. And that's and then they all
- 9:11Speaker 1: shopping Marks and Spencers, and that's exactly how we were
- 9:15Speaker 1: all brought up. And then and then now you come
- 9:17Speaker 1: to Dubai and my house is lit up like you know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: like literally it's a Christmas tree. I mean, it is
- 9:23Speaker 1: a Christmas Christmas I I do. I have the person
- 9:27Speaker 1: that does all the big hotels, does all my Christmas decorations,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and and it's lit up like a Christmas tree. And
- 9:32Speaker 1: It's so funny and it's what week everyone calls in
- 9:35Speaker 1: England when they call it like totally neivo, Ree should
- 9:38Speaker 1: drive down. You know, Americans see everything lit up and
- 9:42Speaker 1: flags and Teddy bears and whatever on the garden and
- 9:45Speaker 1: or you know, in England were taught to take one
- 9:47Speaker 1: thing off jewelry wise, where in Dubai we just put
- 9:51Speaker 1: one more thing on. What made you ultimately moved to Dubai?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Oh well, I mean I actually moved here for my
- 9:59Speaker 1: ex husband because he was always working in Kazakistan and
- 10:03Speaker 1: so I was gone for so much that this is
- 10:05Speaker 1: between London and there, and it was just so he
- 10:08Speaker 1: could see his kids more. But it kind of you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I think by the time we actually got here, were
- 10:12Speaker 1: at the tail end of our marriage anyway, so we
- 10:14Speaker 1: just didn't last. But I never I didn't. I thought
- 10:18Speaker 1: this would be a pit stop. Now I can't really
- 10:20Speaker 1: see myself leave leaving and how do you meet your
- 10:23Speaker 1: hearty husband? I mean what my podcast that you were
- 10:28Speaker 1: talking about before I got divorced was called Life according
- 10:31Speaker 1: to Caroline, which I spent my whole life more than
- 10:34Speaker 1: the podcast explaining what this meant was. Ever, anyway, I
- 10:40Speaker 1: was doing a tour with my tour, like a live
- 10:44Speaker 1: tour of the podcast, and he ended up he was Spanish.
- 10:47Speaker 1: He didn't have the best language skills in English at
- 10:51Speaker 1: this time, and sort of someone told him there was
- 10:54Speaker 1: all he knew that there was he'd come back from
- 10:56Speaker 1: playing soccer, and that there was a woman's empowerment talk
- 10:59Speaker 1: in Newport b She lived there. I've never been there before.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And and I was doing a talk and he was
- 11:06Speaker 1: in the audience, Oh my gosh. And and and so
- 11:10Speaker 1: was my ex husband's fiancee. Took a picture with you. Yes, yes,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you sent me this odd message. And I'm like, like,
- 11:22Speaker 1: how how do you know her? I'm like, like, I doubt.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I was almost scared. I was like, what do you mean,
- 11:29Speaker 1: because I'm terrible with names as well. I mean, that
- 11:31Speaker 1: was always possible. And I was in my show, yes exactly.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, how long have you had your podcast? Uh?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Karen to just just done in two years? I think.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And so he he comes to, so you speak, but
- 11:47Speaker 1: then how well, how do you guys start talking? Like
- 11:51Speaker 1: during the meet and Greek? What's the meet and greet?
- 11:54Speaker 1: He came. His friend was sort of covering it, and
- 11:56Speaker 1: he came up to me and um, I actually took
- 12:02Speaker 1: his number because my girlfriend was single at the time
- 12:05Speaker 1: and she was in the room, and I was like, oh,
- 12:08Speaker 1: you'd be you know, perfect. And then as he left
- 12:11Speaker 1: the room, I was talking to my producer. But I
- 12:13Speaker 1: was actually separated from my husband. We were living on
- 12:15Speaker 1: different flaws, but I wasn't divorced. I wasn't really in
- 12:19Speaker 1: that space to look for myself, but I was like, oh,
- 12:21Speaker 1: he's hot, right, and he staughing with my producer outside
- 12:25Speaker 1: as he left, and I went, there goes my future husband.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Well we just got chills. Isn't that weird? Ended up
- 12:32Speaker 1: marrying him, but anyway, my girlfriend luckily didn't like him.
- 12:37Speaker 1: How do we get to see the wedding on the show?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yes you do. How long have you been married? Now?
- 12:45Speaker 1: We got married December eighteenth, I think it was wasn't
- 12:48Speaker 1: nobody here and this isn't my question. This is it's
- 12:53Speaker 1: been three months or two months. It's like what, Um,
- 13:01Speaker 1: so we do this thing. We're on our Instagram, so
- 13:03Speaker 1: we say what are your number one questions for whatever
- 13:08Speaker 1: guests we have on So first number one question that
- 13:12Speaker 1: everybody wants to know is do you think you'll have
- 13:15Speaker 1: more kids. Um, yes, can you stand that for a second?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Just kidding, are you pregnant? We actually, um have a
- 13:27Speaker 1: little boy on ice. Oh he's in the freezer. Don't
- 13:33Speaker 1: make that face that he's a toxical. Yes, he's a toxical.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Which that actually all happens on the show. It's hilarious
- 13:43Speaker 1: because you know, you've gotta remember I met Sergio when
- 13:45Speaker 1: he was twenty four years old, so I know, don't
- 13:50Speaker 1: I didn't know to be fair to me before you
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, call me whatever. Um, he told me he
- 13:57Speaker 1: was thirty one. So but Benjamin Button lost a few
- 14:00Speaker 1: is he died about his age? That's awesome. I that
- 14:04Speaker 1: men do that often when they meet somebody that's, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: a little off of their age, they always will not
- 14:10Speaker 1: to line up. Do you get cure of all about
- 14:15Speaker 1: the age difference? Because Eddie's five and a half years
- 14:17Speaker 1: younger than me, and um, right now he's forty nine,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm fifty four, and I'm like, as soon as you
- 14:24Speaker 1: get to fifty, Like when I was forty, he was
- 14:26Speaker 1: in his thirties. As long as he was in his
- 14:27Speaker 1: forties and I was in my forties, I felt fine.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I felt like we were the same age. But I
- 14:32Speaker 1: don't know how I'm going to feel. I mean, you know,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I talk about a lot with him. I mean, first
- 14:36Speaker 1: of all, I'm not going to grow old gracefully. I'm
- 14:40Speaker 1: going to get everything in tux So yeah, I guess
- 14:43Speaker 1: that will give me another few years. But I'm also
- 14:46Speaker 1: very pragmatic. I don't want him to, you know, to
- 14:49Speaker 1: to be with some woman in a wheelchair pushing me
- 14:52Speaker 1: around and change my dipeers either. So you know, maybe
- 14:55Speaker 1: maybe we renegotiate my relationship later. Who knows. I'm very
- 15:00Speaker 1: you at least you. I have noticed that you guys
- 15:03Speaker 1: are super open on Instagram, which is so fun to
- 15:08Speaker 1: watch and be able to be a part of. Was
- 15:11Speaker 1: Was he ever hesitant about being that much in the
- 15:13Speaker 1: spotlight because you're such a huge influencer or has he
- 15:16Speaker 1: always been on board? I mean, I don't think you
- 15:19Speaker 1: come from playing for Real Madrid in front of schemes,
- 15:22Speaker 1: you know, teams like that and fans and like you know,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you know, like again, he was so little when he
- 15:27Speaker 1: paid to you know. But what I mean is he
- 15:28Speaker 1: grew up from fifteen. He was professional, right, you know
- 15:32Speaker 1: what I mean, They've given a Ferrari and they sent
- 15:34Speaker 1: to things, so you know, he looked the way he did.
- 15:37Speaker 1: So he's used to sort of girls attention cause that
- 15:41Speaker 1: kind of thing. So I think for him, unlike my
- 15:43Speaker 1: ex husband, it was a much easier transition. My ex
- 15:46Speaker 1: husband heated it. Literally would chop off his own hands
- 15:50Speaker 1: not to take a picture of me, you know. But
- 15:55Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, where Sergio and I have the biggest
- 15:58Speaker 1: fights because he actually takes my pictures and he helps
- 16:01Speaker 1: me do it, and I am the most reluctant instagramma ever.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I literally throw things at him, kick him. I'm horrible.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And then when the picture is really nice and like, oh,
- 16:12Speaker 1: how did you do that, he's like baptism bruise, And
- 16:19Speaker 1: I called him every name under the sun because I
- 16:21Speaker 1: don't want to do it. Yeah. I used to have
- 16:23Speaker 1: my kids help me with my sponsored post and they're like, Mom,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you're a monster. You're a monster. I'm not helping you anymore.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Hearing my voice over and over and over again during
- 16:32Speaker 1: those I'm like, make it stop, like you're trying to
- 16:35Speaker 1: edit it or whatever. Um. Next question is, do you
- 16:39Speaker 1: watch any of the other Real Housewives? All of them?
- 16:43Speaker 1: I watched you so who's your what's your favorite? And
- 16:47Speaker 1: then if you could be on any other show, which
- 16:49Speaker 1: one would it be? Um, well, my favorite has always
- 16:54Speaker 1: got to be I mean, you know, well it was
- 16:57Speaker 1: probably Beverly Hills and Orange County to be honest, I think,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you know, I can't see myself ever, and I think
- 17:02Speaker 1: York got a bit crazy for me. And actually I
- 17:05Speaker 1: don't love New York as a city. I couldn't live there.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Beverly Hills would be in an easy transition, but uh,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and Orange County. I got loads of good friends there,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so I loved it. Yeah. Do you we met one
- 17:18Speaker 1: time actually at Lisa vander Pump's restaurant. Oh my god,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I told you it looked terrible in yes, because well
- 17:29Speaker 1: the way that I so, I know Marissa Hermer from Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 1: so we know I know Marissa Hermer. But randomly we
- 17:36Speaker 1: were there for an event and somebody came up to
- 17:40Speaker 1: me and thought I was you, and and and then
- 17:44Speaker 1: ultimately then they set us down at the table and
- 17:47Speaker 1: we were at the same table, and I was like, oh,
- 17:49Speaker 1: people keep thinking I was you today, And that was
- 17:51Speaker 1: you know, that was our one time that that I
- 17:53Speaker 1: didn't meet you, but you were hilarious. It was like
- 17:55Speaker 1: us and Dorenda. Oh my god, Yes, I took to Wnda. Yes,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I remember that trip. Yeah. Ye do you have any
- 18:13Speaker 1: of your ladies? Have London girls? Um do a little
- 18:16Speaker 1: cameo on? Yes, so Juliet, they came from my wedding.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Oh yes, Caroline Fleming, m Luke uh oh yes, I
- 18:29Speaker 1: saw Luke last night. And who would you say is
- 18:32Speaker 1: the biggest drama on Dubai? Oh, I don't think I
- 18:37Speaker 1: can give that away. I think you're gonna have to watch. Okay,
- 18:40Speaker 1: they're they're fiery. They're all fiery. They're all fiery. Are
- 18:43Speaker 1: they all originally from Dami? Could be? Are they all
- 18:49Speaker 1: originally from Dubai? The other girls? Well, I mean you've
- 18:51Speaker 1: got to remember again. No, not really. I mean they know,
- 18:55Speaker 1: but Dubai isn't isn't isn't that there's only ten of
- 18:59Speaker 1: Dubai's low called Did you know that? No? I don't
- 19:01Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, And it's it's a it's a forty
- 19:04Speaker 1: five year old country, so you know, no one's really
- 19:08Speaker 1: from no one's from there. It's melting part of every nationality,
- 19:13Speaker 1: every religion. It's the weirdest place, but it really worked.
- 19:17Speaker 1: How involved are the husbands on the show, Like we're
- 19:19Speaker 1: what we're covering Jersey right now, and we always laugh
- 19:22Speaker 1: at like the husbands are on the show pretty much
- 19:24Speaker 1: as much as the women. Yeah, they've got I actually
- 19:26Speaker 1: noticed that the other day that they actually have their
- 19:29Speaker 1: own green screen. They have My Husband's Nightmare. Yeah. Well,
- 19:37Speaker 1: as you know, I think probably mine's the most involved
- 19:40Speaker 1: because we work together and we do everything together. Um,
- 19:44Speaker 1: but you know, some of them are more reluctant than others.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's it's it's you know, it's it's it's not they're
- 19:50Speaker 1: not really there's no green screens or anything like that. Yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 1: What business do you have right now? Businesses? Oh my god,
- 19:57Speaker 1: we're doing well. We luxury ambassadors over here. So we
- 20:01Speaker 1: worked with many big brands from Jacob and Co. To
- 20:04Speaker 1: um Beauty, Beauty and Places too, and the largest hotel
- 20:10Speaker 1: group in the world, Um Apple Group. So we do that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Then we have the podcast. Then we have quite a few.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I can't really say right now. What speaking speaking of
- 20:25Speaker 1: your podcast, who have been some of your favorite guests
- 20:29Speaker 1: that you've had on there? Oh? Well, I mean, hands
- 20:31Speaker 1: down before of course I have you guys, Um Susan Surrandon.
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's awesome. I mean, hands down, it's just just because
- 20:41Speaker 1: she is who she is and I grew up watching
- 20:42Speaker 1: her and I could listen to that woman all night
- 20:47Speaker 1: just because her life experience and I love her. I
- 20:52Speaker 1: love her mantra for life, which is, you know exactly
- 20:57Speaker 1: how I feel that, you know, you women sort of
- 21:00Speaker 1: lose themselves in relationships and you know, becomes all the
- 21:03Speaker 1: compass and like, you know, what if he's not with
- 21:05Speaker 1: me till I'm a hundred Well, who gives a ship?
- 21:07Speaker 1: You know, really, who gives a ship? Life? As chapters?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Enjoy the one you're in because there'll be another one,
- 21:13Speaker 1: you know. And it's that's simple. It doesn't end because
- 21:16Speaker 1: he ended it, you know next And um, you know,
- 21:20Speaker 1: so she she was, She's truly like that, and she's not.
- 21:23Speaker 1: She never wanted to get married, she's never chased the dream. Um,
- 21:27Speaker 1: it's not a dream for her. She's got everything she needs,
- 21:30Speaker 1: the kids, she's successful, she's had, you know. She's telling
- 21:33Speaker 1: me about stories of you know, Richard Gear and like
- 21:36Speaker 1: all these amazing people that she knows and does movies
- 21:40Speaker 1: with or dated, and it's just amazing. I want I mean,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I want to kiss half the people she's kissed. You've
- 21:48Speaker 1: dated some famous people as well, Um, well some of
- 21:52Speaker 1: some of that's just tabloid rubbish. Okay, you know, I
- 21:57Speaker 1: mean I won't Yeah, like honestly absolute rubbish. But you know,
- 22:01Speaker 1: I can't be bothered to defend it because the more
- 22:03Speaker 1: you defend it, the more it becomes clickbait. The more
- 22:05Speaker 1: it becomes clickbait. It's just it's like true, very very
- 22:09Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I've never I've never denied any
- 22:12Speaker 1: any relationships, So why would I deny it. I couldn't
- 22:14Speaker 1: give a ship, I wasn't married. I do whatever I wanted.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It's just not true. So you said you recently changed
- 22:22Speaker 1: the name of your podcast, yeah, to Divorce not Dead.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Why why do you change the name? Well, because I
- 22:28Speaker 1: felt it said what it does you know? On the box?
- 22:30Speaker 1: In a way, I was sick of people asking me
- 22:32Speaker 1: what does the other one mean? And actually also when
- 22:35Speaker 1: I got divorced, which you know you might have had
- 22:38Speaker 1: termera is, I was sick of people calling me and
- 22:41Speaker 1: going I'm sorry, you're right, and I'm like, I'm absolutely fine,
- 22:47Speaker 1: thank you, And do you do I look like I'm miserable.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Right now, I'm more successful in my business world than
- 22:56Speaker 1: I've ever been. I've got thank you, very hot husband.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And I'm not doing this just to put myself up.
- 23:03Speaker 1: But I mean, I'm just in a very happy place
- 23:05Speaker 1: with myself, with my you know, life as is, which
- 23:10Speaker 1: is a very comfortable place to be. So no, I
- 23:12Speaker 1: don't miss my old life. I don't. I'm not sad
- 23:15Speaker 1: about it. He's still there in a different capacity. He
- 23:19Speaker 1: didn't die. Yeah, your kids still have a relationship with him,
- 23:24Speaker 1: Like that's you know, I'm going to dinner with him
- 23:27Speaker 1: next week. Well, I love that. Is there anything else
- 23:32Speaker 1: you want to tease before we wrap up the show?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Like any other Just one little juice, it's being a clickbag,
- 23:40Speaker 1: just one little juicy nugget. Any wine throwing, anything wine throwing?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Oh god, no, no that I mean. We also, it's
- 23:49Speaker 1: different out here. That's why I can't wait for you
- 23:52Speaker 1: to see the Middle East, especially if you haven't been here.
- 23:56Speaker 1: And I think it's going to be really exciting because
- 23:59Speaker 1: I think America as a whole kind of thinks that
- 24:02Speaker 1: we should were all covered and we can't. You know, right, well,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I think I was gonna ask you is there a
- 24:08Speaker 1: big difference between living in London and living in Dubai
- 24:11Speaker 1: as a woman who In fact, I think we have
- 24:16Speaker 1: more opportunities. I mean, there's some of the stuff that
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm doing now, which is why I just don't want
- 24:20Speaker 1: to discuss it. But you know, because everything is I
- 24:23Speaker 1: work with men every day with my husband, and we
- 24:26Speaker 1: work with men, with Arab men we have you know,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm only cheats treated amazingly. That's that's good. I think
- 24:35Speaker 1: the most exciting thing about Dubai is it's so nobody knows.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Unless you've been to Dubai or live in Dubai, you
- 24:41Speaker 1: don't know what to expect. So of course general people,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you know, think, oh, you know, they have to be
- 24:47Speaker 1: covered there. You know, we only see it through like
- 24:50Speaker 1: an Instagram lens. So the fact that there's going to
- 24:53Speaker 1: be a show is gonna be huge. It's gonna be
- 24:55Speaker 1: exciting to be huge. You guys have to tune in
