- 0:27Speaker 2: Please follow them and pull up on them when they
- 0:29Speaker 2: come to your city. The first topic of today, preacher
- 0:33Speaker 2: receives a letter complaint for dressing too sexy. This is
- 0:38Speaker 2: in a hy he Tay church discussing pastors church, I
- 0:43Speaker 2: mean discussing pastor slam for dressing too sexy in church
- 0:46Speaker 2: enviral letter. Let me just show you what he had on.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I'll show you, guys, and I'll show the camera. It's
- 0:50Speaker 2: just jeans, what little T shirt and a jacket. If
- 0:58Speaker 2: you see, let me turn them breast it's down. I
- 1:02Speaker 2: don't know if y'all get the jest, but if you
- 1:04Speaker 2: can't see, if you can't, it's basically a white man,
- 1:07Speaker 2: regular white man, black. I mean a black jeans, a
- 1:11Speaker 2: T shirt and a jacket, and the other time he
- 1:14Speaker 2: wore gray pants and like a little shirt you'd get
- 1:16Speaker 2: from like Tommy Bahamma. Nope, here's the skinny South to
- 1:23Speaker 2: go to pastors being slam for dressing too sexy. One
- 1:25Speaker 2: Congregate slam Reverend Adam Weber and October letter saying the
- 1:30Speaker 2: wearing of disgusting denim was morally wrong in the house
- 1:33Speaker 2: of worship. The poison Pen letter also insisted that Weber
- 1:36Speaker 2: needs to dress more conservatively, conservatively as a representative of
- 1:39Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, and he used commentents before preaching in skinny jeans.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I got the letter. He said, you know it's gonna
- 1:45Speaker 2: be interesting when there isn't a name. I don't get
- 1:47Speaker 2: letters like this very often. This is a hand written letter.
- 1:49Speaker 2: By the way, letters the messages I get are wonderful.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's easy to focus on one thing, though, and becomes
- 1:55Speaker 2: jaded because of it, especially at as Chris. Let me
- 2:01Speaker 2: read the letter to you guys as head pastor do
- 2:05Speaker 2: you really oh sorry? The title is completely offensive morally wrong,
- 2:11Speaker 2: with completely offensive and wrong being underlined as head pastor,
- 2:16Speaker 2: do you really think it's appropriate to wear skinny leg
- 2:18Speaker 2: jeans to preach. Since when do men wear skinny leg jeans?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Where's your common sense? This is an outrage. You are
- 2:25Speaker 2: a representative of Jesus Jesus Christ, certainly you can dress
- 2:29Speaker 2: professionally and conservatively. You are a role model. I'm emphasizing
- 2:33Speaker 2: where they did for crying out loud. Crying out loud,
- 2:37Speaker 2: the praise and worship team should also dress conservatively. I
- 2:41Speaker 2: always feel like I can't read when I do this
- 2:42Speaker 2: show because I'd be trying to.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Read too fast.
- 2:45Speaker 2: All right, page two, this is mandatory being in ministry.
- 2:49Speaker 2: This looks like you are trying on purpose to dress sexy.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Just disgusting for a pastor. Use common sense. Dressed like
- 2:56Speaker 2: you should. You are not in middle school, but rather
- 2:59Speaker 2: responsible for entire church. Get a clue. That's a big
- 3:02Speaker 2: white word.
- 3:04Speaker 4: The format of that letter is disgusting.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Beforemat yes, what.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Now apply?
- 3:15Speaker 5: She's in middle school and you learned about it was
- 3:20Speaker 5: The ridge is still on the outside of the paper.
- 3:23Speaker 2: When I saw this, I thought he was going because
- 3:25Speaker 2: some pass nowadays really be pushing the line. He looks
- 3:29Speaker 2: like every mannequin at H and M.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not sexy.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Basic because I'm even thinking, like what does a man
- 3:36Speaker 6: do to dress sex unless your shirt is button.
- 3:38Speaker 5: But Jesus was walking around and white linen just flowing open.
- 3:43Speaker 5: From what I understand said, denim is the devil's devil.
- 3:49Speaker 4: They thought his pants were too tight. That's what it was.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It was they was tight.
- 3:54Speaker 6: But then what's like white people? Are they really very casual?
- 4:00Speaker 6: They'd be in and out in thirty minutes.
- 4:02Speaker 3: They do, they do.
- 4:03Speaker 2: A lot of churches are still very conservative though, like big,
- 4:07Speaker 2: big conservative. I mean, if you usually the pastor's dress
- 4:11Speaker 2: is reflective of the yeah flocks dress.
- 4:14Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Like when I went to one church, the terrade dress
- 4:18Speaker 2: cool and everybody dressed cool.
- 4:20Speaker 3: When I went to.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Bishop Blake's church, Oh yeah Blake, they was dressed a
- 4:26Speaker 2: little older, but the people was dressed older. So she
- 4:29Speaker 2: has the like maybe she was at that church. When
- 4:34Speaker 2: I grew up. In church, what you wore was huge,
- 4:37Speaker 2: especially women.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Yeah church when I was young, when I was a kid,
- 4:44Speaker 6: like my mama is thirteen of them and they they
- 4:46Speaker 6: was in church every single day. So half of them
- 4:48Speaker 6: grew up and continued on and half of them my
- 4:50Speaker 6: mama hated church when she got grown.
- 4:51Speaker 4: And then my dad was like, they my dad.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Is not really big on the institution of church itself,
- 4:56Speaker 6: but he's very you know, has spiritual, has a relationship
- 4:58Speaker 6: with gods.
- 4:59Speaker 4: So they would go sometimes.
- 5:00Speaker 6: So we would go like we wore seems and then yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 6: my favorite.
- 5:04Speaker 4: What's that Christmas Mother's in Eastern oh Okay.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I thought it was a person.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Like my favorite cousin who house I would want to
- 5:12Speaker 6: spend night over. Who was like the only house I
- 5:13Speaker 6: could really spend the night at. I would always want
- 5:15Speaker 6: to spend night on Friday so that I could be
- 5:17Speaker 6: back home. I have to church because they went to church.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Her mama was on the ones that love church, stay
- 5:21Speaker 6: over here.
- 5:21Speaker 4: She went.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Friday. That's how my mom was on.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Friday, and she's intentionally trying to make me go to
- 5:28Speaker 6: church on Sunday. And then I ended up getting baptized
- 5:31Speaker 6: at eight because I thought I could get It was
- 5:33Speaker 6: a pool and I was like so I stood.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Up like she was proud, like, oh, I would bring
- 5:39Speaker 4: and then they.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Tried to not have my my swimming cap on. I
- 5:42Speaker 6: have my love Mickey.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I was ready and they did me down. I'm trying
- 5:47Speaker 4: to like swim, try to bring.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Me back up, and I'm like, I need my time and.
- 5:55Speaker 4: I do need to was like, what made you part
- 5:57Speaker 4: of you? Like, what made you? You know, going to
- 5:59Speaker 4: get backsizing? I was like, I thought I was just
- 6:01Speaker 4: trying to swim. Get talking about it.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Look after that, I was like, and I do I
- 6:12Speaker 4: need to need to read?
- 6:13Speaker 2: You didn't think that pool was kind of small though, right,
- 6:17Speaker 2: hate as a kid was as well.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Everything in front of everybody boring, right.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And It's like I would just swimming by.
- 6:28Speaker 4: That's what you're gonna do when you get your life
- 6:29Speaker 4: to Christ. That the most exciting part of church, Yes, and.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Everybody else is praising the Lord and they're like, you could
- 6:38Speaker 3: just play the pool.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I was ready.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I see how you went to Black Banther and this
- 6:46Speaker 2: girl got the bathtub side first of the pool. It
- 6:48Speaker 2: was right, y'all keep pulling me out. I know how
- 6:51Speaker 2: to hold my birth out there. I can swim.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Like, this is the most fun part I went to church.
- 6:58Speaker 7: I grew up going to church every Sunday, every single Sunday,
- 7:00Speaker 7: and sometimes on Wednesday for Bible study. But I remember
- 7:03Speaker 7: one time I came down the stairs. I had on jeans,
- 7:06Speaker 7: and my dad was like, what are you doing? Like
- 7:09Speaker 7: women don't wear women don't wear pants the church period.
- 7:11Speaker 7: And I was like why not? He was like because.
- 7:15Speaker 7: And I looked at my mom and she was like, yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 7: like it's two thousand and whatever.
- 7:19Speaker 4: And my dad was like, I was.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Like, explain to me why I can't wear pants? And
- 7:25Speaker 7: he was like, get in the carr come on.
- 7:34Speaker 2: You.
- 7:35Speaker 4: He was He didn't. He couldn't explain it. He was like,
- 7:38Speaker 4: I don't know, that's just what I was taught. He
- 7:40Speaker 4: let it go, you know.
- 7:41Speaker 7: He's like, I guess you could. Your pants got holes
- 7:43Speaker 7: in them. I'm like, this is a style.
- 7:49Speaker 2: When I met Melissa, I thought she wasn't saying because
- 7:51Speaker 2: she wore hants that's to church.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I was so bad. I was like, oh, y'all, just
- 7:59Speaker 3: do any little hard.
- 8:02Speaker 2: She had practice and she had a track suit on,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and her and both her sister they went straight from
- 8:09Speaker 2: track to church.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Your face right now, you're still a little bit like
- 8:15Speaker 6: a little.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Like you didn't pack a skirt right.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Going to church regularly until that's crazy.
- 8:23Speaker 5: I didn't grow up in church coming I went to
- 8:26Speaker 5: the only so my mom was Jehovah's witness, but summer
- 8:29Speaker 5: camp for the Christian camp was free, so that's we
- 8:32Speaker 5: learned everything from UGM Union Gospel Mission and so we
- 8:36Speaker 5: never went to church. And my mom was Jehovah's Witness.
- 8:38Speaker 5: But you know, as a kid, my mom was like,
- 8:40Speaker 5: y'all want to sit down and read with us, But
- 8:41Speaker 5: I was like the oldest, so like, no, we rolling
- 8:43Speaker 5: with Jesus. Like I thought everything was against Jesus back then,
- 8:46Speaker 5: So we would go in the room and wait for
- 8:48Speaker 5: the Jehovah witness people to leave.
- 8:49Speaker 4: So my mom, we were always Christian.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Summer gap, my mom would take us to jam because
- 8:54Speaker 5: she got a scholarship.
- 8:55Speaker 4: So that's where we went.
- 8:57Speaker 5: And it was funny because like I would not want
- 9:01Speaker 5: to do anything like to upset the Lord as a kid,
- 9:04Speaker 5: you know, but we never.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I never.
- 9:05Speaker 5: I didn't start going to church till I was older.
- 9:07Speaker 5: And you know, I want a couple of times. So
- 9:08Speaker 5: I don't know no church rules, I don't really.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Know the songs.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I don't really like, I don't understand.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I just but I love the Lord.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Your question pans you didn't love them like I did.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we went to church no less than five times.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I guess imagine that's that's the line.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Wednesday, Bible study, Friday rehearsal. Nobody. Nobody was ranked, y'all.
- 9:41Speaker 2: We just was regular people. We went Sunday pretty much
- 9:45Speaker 2: all day, Sunday, school, Sunday service, go home and eat,
- 9:49Speaker 2: or to a restaurant and eat, come back for night
- 9:51Speaker 2: service or p y pu pentecosta youth. I forgot the
- 9:54Speaker 2: other two letters sens for. That was like in between
- 9:57Speaker 2: we had choirs. On Friday, we went to school and church.
- 10:00Speaker 2: That's all my.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Friends school, church and school.
- 10:02Speaker 3: And you went to Christian No, no, no regular school.
- 10:05Speaker 4: We went to school and church and church. That's all.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You went to school and church.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And yeah, that's it.
- 10:09Speaker 2: That's what we had study and then we had another
- 10:13Speaker 2: It was like I forgot what it was called.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Now, dam I'm getting over real.
- 10:16Speaker 4: She did Halloween?
- 10:16Speaker 3: All that what Halloween?
- 10:20Speaker 4: But you know how it because overnight in church. You
- 10:22Speaker 4: never celebrated.
- 10:25Speaker 2: My church as a kid kid, when my kids were kids,
- 10:30Speaker 2: it was like trunk or tree, Hallelujah, knight, harvest knight. Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 2: we didn't get none of that. We just going whatever
- 10:36Speaker 2: day Halloween is, we're having church, not a Halloween church
- 10:42Speaker 2: watch night. I was just thinking about this. Not only
- 10:44Speaker 2: did I have watch a night in church. The first
- 10:45Speaker 2: church time I didn't go to New Year's Eve was
- 10:48Speaker 2: y two K. Yeah, because my first year in Washington,
- 10:51Speaker 2: and my dad was like, I don't we we just
- 10:53Speaker 2: moved here. The world going in computers gonna fight us.
- 10:56Speaker 2: We was unsure was a big thing. So we didn't go.
- 11:00Speaker 2: That was and I just was like, oh my god,
- 11:03Speaker 2: you don't go to t what do you do?
- 11:05Speaker 3: Uh? The super Bowl? We didn't.
- 11:09Speaker 2: We watched the Super Bowl at church until.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I moved to LA.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Watched it and remember when Prince performed, My church turned
- 11:17Speaker 2: it off.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, they saw Prince.
- 11:21Speaker 3: They would turn off, turn off.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You know, I see some points they would turn off
- 11:27Speaker 2: whoever the halftime person was. They they might let it
- 11:30Speaker 2: play a little, but when Prince was on, they was like,
- 11:32Speaker 2: oh yeah, Prince, they turned it off. So then I
- 11:35Speaker 2: missed that performance. And then that one ain't on YouTube
- 11:37Speaker 2: good as.
- 11:37Speaker 3: The other one. So I'm still kind of mad about that.
- 11:39Speaker 2: But yeah, we had Bible Bible study and we had
- 11:42Speaker 2: I think it was like Evangelist Evangelist Night, but basically
- 11:45Speaker 2: went Tuesday and Thursday and Friday and Saturday we had
- 11:49Speaker 2: kids cry rehearsal, and then Sunday we had church all day.
- 11:51Speaker 2: So the only time I didn't go to church was
- 11:53Speaker 2: on Monday and Wednesday, and that I don't even remember.
- 11:59Speaker 4: So much of my memory is church.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And I was like, my brother played football. We couldn't
- 12:06Speaker 2: go to his family, couldn't go to his games. You
- 12:08Speaker 2: were considered not churchy. You couldn't wear makeup earrings if
- 12:11Speaker 2: you were me, the p a W I went to.
- 12:15Speaker 2: This isn't I thought, And that's the kind of thing
- 12:17Speaker 2: that's funny about cults or religion. If that's all you know,
- 12:21Speaker 2: that's all you know, you think everybody does this. It
- 12:24Speaker 2: wasn't until I got much older I realized not only
- 12:27Speaker 2: does everybody not do this, even people who go to church,
- 12:30Speaker 2: they don't go like this, Like there was one time
- 12:32Speaker 2: we went to church, like there was like a wave
- 12:35Speaker 2: where you could eat pork no more because it was unclean.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So you could eat pork and you want pizza, not
- 12:42Speaker 2: get it. But like biblically and health is a different reason.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And before a child, I was like, and the church
- 12:48Speaker 2: girls had to wear skirts to school, they had to
- 12:51Speaker 2: wear skirts to the picnic. Regular school, other kids from
- 12:57Speaker 2: the church.
- 12:58Speaker 4: That's it.
- 13:00Speaker 6: You never This is why I couldn't find Jesus that
- 13:02Speaker 6: young because I.
- 13:03Speaker 4: As a kid, I hated skirts. You heard me.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Whenever I had the family photos that I had on
- 13:08Speaker 6: the skirt, I looked like you thought they was abusing me.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I was just mad, Like, No, I wasn't co I
- 13:14Speaker 2: was p a w Penecost simuls the world. We were
- 13:16Speaker 2: more saved than the kojak stuff.
- 13:18Speaker 4: No go ahead, je no shade.
- 13:22Speaker 7: But I said, this is probably why cav ain't got
- 13:25Speaker 7: no athletic bill, because if you was playing football, or
- 13:28Speaker 7: you were playing basketball, or if you did some sort
- 13:31Speaker 7: of athletic activities.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You were that church.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I did be we got hands.
- 13:44Speaker 2: This party, but no later on that Now, that's probably
- 13:50Speaker 2: the first ten years of my life. It was the
- 13:52Speaker 2: most most strict, like in the pastor it was like.
- 13:55Speaker 2: But the thing is, I remember we couldn't go to
- 13:57Speaker 2: the movies either, but we could watch movies. You couldn't
- 14:00Speaker 2: go to see The Lion King, but when it came
- 14:03Speaker 2: out on VHS you could go.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It didn't really matter.
- 14:05Speaker 5: That's like standing in line at the restaurant with your
- 14:06Speaker 5: mask still taking it off.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So the pastor said it was sin, since sin sin,
- 14:10Speaker 2: that's what he said. Later on in life, I found
- 14:12Speaker 2: out it was because his son had sex in the
- 14:14Speaker 2: movie theater. So I was like, nigga, that's just one person, though,
- 14:18Speaker 2: who did it?
- 14:21Speaker 3: Kids?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Is always the way went.
- 14:24Speaker 3: And had sextant movie theater later on in the city
- 14:28Speaker 3: under that church.
- 14:30Speaker 2: But yeah, it was like, and sometimes I be feeling
- 14:33Speaker 2: super bad because my kids don't have that same experience
- 14:37Speaker 2: of church. They like, even if we went to church
- 14:39Speaker 2: as much as my church had church, they only have
- 14:41Speaker 2: church Sunday morning.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah that's Do you still go?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Church, I don't go nearly as much as I used to.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't really go much, mostly because I've been on
- 14:50Speaker 2: the road for a year straight, like since twenty seventeen.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Eight months out of the year, I'm gone every weekend
- 14:59Speaker 2: from like Thursday to Monday morning. Yeah, so I haven't
- 15:02Speaker 2: been going as regularly usually. I want to go back now,
- 15:05Speaker 2: but i'd be gone. I mean, COVID really like did
- 15:09Speaker 2: a number on church people. Wasn't going like that. I

- 16:48Speaker 2: But yeah, I'll be feeling bad because my kids. I
- 16:50Speaker 2: remember my church is like at first we grew up,
- 16:53Speaker 2: you could Halloween when they started letting you in. It
- 16:57Speaker 2: was like, okay, you can wear Bible costs.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Jesus the Bible. There's no differentiator coming as Jesubel.
- 17:06Speaker 7: Okay, I'm looking the same.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm David is the Three Wives. There's no way that.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Is.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Nobody wants to no child wants.
- 17:21Speaker 1: To be the holy ghost.
- 17:27Speaker 3: You picked the bath?
- 17:30Speaker 4: Am I still going to heaven?
- 17:32Speaker 2: And then they was like, okay, you can wear you
- 17:35Speaker 2: can wear superhero stuff, but no ghosts and goblins.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and that the last time to the boys and
- 17:41Speaker 3: the Trunker cheet. That was united. That's what's the rule.
- 17:44Speaker 4: And that's what I do at my house.
- 17:45Speaker 5: I focus more on like like Christmas is more like
- 17:50Speaker 5: went to Wonderland. Halloween is not the scary stuff, more Pumpkinny,
- 17:53Speaker 5: more whatever, because I feel like that's how my mom was.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Jehovah's witnesses are dumb strict like that too. We can
- 17:59Speaker 5: have birth a partner, but my mom. We was Christian
- 18:01Speaker 5: and my mom was a hopeless witness. And then on
- 18:03Speaker 5: Fridays when we got older, our Jewish grandfather will be
- 18:06Speaker 5: over there on Sabbath.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And my case was Muslim.
- 18:10Speaker 5: So I've seen it also to me It's like everything
- 18:12Speaker 5: always leads back to God as long as you mess
- 18:14Speaker 5: with the Lord, like I messed with the Lord.
- 18:16Speaker 4: And that's where.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Judgment day.
- 18:22Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, period yeahs the Lord, hell.
- 18:31Speaker 3: The Lord.
- 18:35Speaker 2: What a judgment day really is that? After all this,
- 18:39Speaker 2: it's just a nigga, not a nigga. But like Angel
- 18:41Speaker 2: likes the Lord.
- 18:44Speaker 4: They haven't either hell empty or hell of fool.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's one of the two.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Or a pool of ship. It's no in between.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Like the Muslim woman gonna be mad a ship when
- 18:55Speaker 5: they see my whole up there, like you, but then
- 19:08Speaker 5: extra big wings probably.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Said I messed with the Lord.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Real bad, real bad.
- 19:19Speaker 7: Okay, really, my God, my God, my God, thank you
- 19:27Speaker 7: to my Lord.
- 19:29Speaker 2: My.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Lord, Jehovah's witness.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Mom, Jewish uncle you said, Jewish are very.
- 19:39Speaker 5: And Muslim friends yes, and cousins and the neighbors next door.
- 19:42Speaker 5: So I've been exposed to everything, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:45Speaker 4: So for me, I'm like, all right, it all lead
- 19:47Speaker 4: back to God.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Know what's funny about that? I'll leading back to God.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So when I was a kid, we were taught not
- 19:53Speaker 2: only are only we saved, only our denomination is saved.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Coaching people are not saved Baptist. That's crazy.
- 20:03Speaker 2: We was so I was judging not only sinners, but
- 20:06Speaker 2: other Christian people as well.
- 20:08Speaker 4: I mean I didn't grow up in church. I wouldn't
- 20:10Speaker 4: taught that.
- 20:10Speaker 6: But my I have two sets of drouble witnesses, so
- 20:12Speaker 6: they were never around for like holiday and stuff like that.
- 20:15Speaker 6: But one of my aunts in the summertime will watch
- 20:17Speaker 6: me and my brother for like maybe like two years,
- 20:19Speaker 6: and my little cousins when we would sit down to
- 20:21Speaker 6: eat and they would say they grace and they.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Would pray, they would be like and not keep sugar.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 20:28Speaker 6: I was like, and we little kids, And I'm like, damn,
- 20:32Speaker 6: what are you gonna like that? Because we want your
- 20:33Speaker 6: witnesses and you know, for them, it's yeah, keep your
- 20:39Speaker 6: Why are you just gonna say nothing though exclude us?
- 20:43Speaker 4: Like that's what my family think.
- 20:45Speaker 7: I'm a heathen now because I was like, I don't
- 20:47Speaker 7: believe in none of I just believe in God, period.
- 20:49Speaker 7: And if God loved me more than my mama loved me,
- 20:51Speaker 7: I could do anything.
- 20:53Speaker 4: I can really fuck up. I believe in God. That's it.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Don't ask me nothing else about nothing else, like your.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Video don't ask me nothing.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I believe in God. I missed the Lord real bad,
- 21:05Speaker 2: yeah done, don't ask me nothing else that. I remember
- 21:09Speaker 2: when I was like studying religion in college and I
- 21:11Speaker 2: found out like so I thought we would write everybody else's.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Wrong and just us.
- 21:15Speaker 2: And then I remember like questioning. I was like, it
- 21:18Speaker 2: just doesn't make sense that only us of this group
- 21:23Speaker 2: can go in like you made you and you think
- 21:26Speaker 2: of like Hitler and like all the worst people. Of
- 21:29Speaker 2: course they're out, but you want me to believe other
- 21:31Speaker 2: people who love them love the Lord and go to
- 21:33Speaker 2: Kojin and they just was raised in their thing, they're
- 21:36Speaker 2: out too. And then I found out that, like I
- 21:39Speaker 2: want to say, Western religion is usually follows a man
- 21:43Speaker 2: Jesus Mohammad, Joseph Smith, like one person. It's about you know,
- 21:49Speaker 2: doing stuff I'm paraphrasing to get to you know that, yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 2: finding oneself. And in Eastern religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese religion,
- 21:57Speaker 2: they're more about the collective and being and coming one like.
- 22:00Speaker 2: And I found out way this is just so much
- 22:02Speaker 2: of this is not only cultural, it's where you were raised,
- 22:06Speaker 2: where you live, Like it's impossible that only us are
- 22:09Speaker 2: going to happen, right. I just don't buy that, like
- 22:12Speaker 2: I get what y'all try to do, because the used
- 22:13Speaker 2: to get mad at me, Like you asked all these questions.
- 22:15Speaker 2: You just want to go sin and sin. Y'all can't
- 22:17Speaker 2: get mad because you don't have an answer.
- 22:18Speaker 4: And that's what it is.
- 22:20Speaker 2: If a nine year old is asking you a question
- 22:22Speaker 2: like jazz, if you can't even tell me why we
- 22:24Speaker 2: can't wear past, then why are we doing this?
- 22:27Speaker 3: And you want you don't have no answer.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Getting mad don't mean I'm wrong and I should be
- 22:31Speaker 2: like y'all don't know, do you? Y'all just saying what
- 22:33Speaker 2: everybody else say. I'm gonna be quiet, but I don't believe.
- 22:35Speaker 3: No, we need to be passed down.
- 22:38Speaker 5: And that's why I say, with the job's witness, they
- 22:39Speaker 5: believe only one hundred and forty four thousand is going.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It's you know, that's why the end of the Saints
- 22:44Speaker 2: Marching it is about Oh, I want to be in
- 22:47Speaker 2: that number. It's about that number one really yeah, it's
- 22:50Speaker 2: one hundred and forty four thousand. That's where that song
- 22:52Speaker 2: came from.
- 22:53Speaker 3: One of you. And I'm like all these niggas keep
- 22:55Speaker 3: being born. That number don't one hundred a year.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Million already closed close one hundred and forty four thousand.
- 23:06Speaker 4: That's all that's getting.
- 23:09Speaker 2: And we don't know how many people has already messed
- 23:11Speaker 2: with the Lord and it's good.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Everybody else just quit exactly. Johah Witness is like, so, yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 4: they're huge.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Jehovah's had a lot of Yeah, a lot of they're
- 23:28Speaker 5: huge windows.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I believe.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So my aunt Jehoah's witness, we didn't celebrate on birthday,
- 23:34Speaker 2: so what she would do with my birthday? When I
- 23:36Speaker 2: come to her house, there will just be a gift there.
- 23:38Speaker 2: And she just never said.
- 23:39Speaker 6: Nothing they do because my mom, I just had a
- 23:42Speaker 6: picnic next week and we'll be like today. But I
- 23:46Speaker 6: remember like when my grandparents passed, they didn't come to
- 23:47Speaker 6: the funeral. One of my aunts came and she even
- 23:50Speaker 6: the main one talking to most, but she came, and
- 23:52Speaker 6: then my other I didn't come to my mama and
- 23:53Speaker 6: the rest of them, my aunts and uncles were like pissed.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Like yeah, I wanted to like scrap.
- 23:57Speaker 6: I had a problem, like how you going to not
- 23:59Speaker 6: and she was like can have that hall? And my
- 24:00Speaker 6: mom be like no, She wouldn't jo witness, but they
- 24:03Speaker 6: like serious. My own husband needed a blood transfer.
- 24:06Speaker 4: They will not let you get a brother. Yeah, they'll
- 24:09Speaker 4: let me die. And he was young.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Because me and my cousin are the same agent. I
- 24:14Speaker 6: was in like tenth grade, So my parents will.

- 25:34Speaker 6: Forty maybe around the time something like that, So my
- 25:37Speaker 6: aunts would have been forty three, forty four, like he
- 25:40Speaker 6: was fairly young.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Yeah, it was like they would not let you get
- 25:44Speaker 5: and never be like God to save you if you're
- 25:45Speaker 5: supposed to be here and now just watching the But.
- 25:48Speaker 2: God made science exactly like I used to Well, I
- 25:52Speaker 2: used to be so confused because we got to some
- 25:54Speaker 2: and some people went too far and it was like
- 25:56Speaker 2: I don't take no medicine. I was like, you think,
- 25:58Speaker 2: God that helped that man come up with vinessula, you
- 26:00Speaker 2: want me to die putting herbs and stuff.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Some stuff that I'll tell you. Yeah, that's why I
- 26:08Speaker 6: had to actually go to my pastor a question. I
- 26:09Speaker 6: was like, ah, is this a god?
- 26:11Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Well, the thing that I realized in my life in
- 26:15Speaker 3: my experience.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I can't speak for everybody, but in my life, my
- 26:17Speaker 2: experience to date, none of my pastors were actually trained,
- 26:25Speaker 2: Like yeah, they didn't go to school, they didn't have
- 26:28Speaker 2: no massive divinity, no theologic background that they could just
- 26:32Speaker 2: preach somewhere greater and better people, worse people, whatever. Most
- 26:35Speaker 2: are good people, but they not reading the Greek and
- 26:39Speaker 2: Hebrew and learning all that stuff. They just most of
- 26:41Speaker 2: it just like that the best or he built it
- 26:45Speaker 2: or his dad built it. And then what happened was
- 26:48Speaker 2: for me. And I didn't know this episode gonna turn
- 26:50Speaker 2: into this, but this, this is was the point of
- 26:51Speaker 2: this is The Internet is what messed it all up.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Because as a kid, you couldn't challenge nothing because you
- 26:57Speaker 2: don't know how to defeat them. But as I got older,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you start hearing from other preachers who got trained or
- 27:03Speaker 2: reading articles and you're like, oh, we learning.
- 27:05Speaker 3: We all back.
- 27:06Speaker 2: You go to somebody who don't know nothing with and
- 27:09Speaker 2: they like you don't love it. You can't keep doing that.
- 27:13Speaker 2: And also I'm not eight anymore.
- 27:15Speaker 6: I's it okay for Christians to go to the movies.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Your congregation to the Black Panther.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Church Washington.
- 27:29Speaker 2: One of the dudes was kind of newer the church.
- 27:31Speaker 2: He was having managin Richmond. He was like, can you
- 27:34Speaker 2: comes during sex?
- 27:35Speaker 3: And the pastor like na. He was like, man, you
- 27:36Speaker 3: can't do nothing.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Man, he was really fat.
- 27:41Speaker 3: He was like, so you mean it? And he was
- 27:43Speaker 3: new and that's my favorite people. So when I'm hitting
- 27:45Speaker 3: from the back, oh my, he's what he said.
- 27:48Speaker 2: When I'm in from the back, what y'all want me
- 27:49Speaker 2: to say?
- 27:52Speaker 4: Give me a scripture?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Give me And then the pastor was stumbling. He was like,
- 27:57Speaker 2: I mean, you know what I'm saying. You just thank God.
- 28:01Speaker 2: This feels good things. Man, I'm gonna say my stuff.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I'm cool with God, but I can't.
- 28:09Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying. The words and customers are man made.
- 28:12Speaker 5: The Lord don't be worried about having stuff. We think
- 28:14Speaker 5: he worried about that's what y'all made up. If he is, Oh,
- 28:17Speaker 5: I thank god it is you know what, But you're.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Getting it off.
- 28:20Speaker 4: That's a compliment, though I think I would take that.
- 28:23Speaker 4: I thank god it is. Get off me. No, yes, hallelujah.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Now it's over the minute you bring it up. Now
- 28:33Speaker 4: you're not gonna now because now I'm living and now
- 28:35Speaker 4: I feel sent at this. You know, making good stuff.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Jo boy, you really did another. I'm really enjoyed this.
- 28:48Speaker 4: No, I'm finished.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Let take you out.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Yeah, but but I'm already.
- 28:54Speaker 2: But people say, oh my god and bed all the time,
- 28:56Speaker 2: my god, oh my god. But if you think God
- 28:58Speaker 2: now is wrong.
- 28:59Speaker 4: You know you got me there are killing I really
- 29:02Speaker 4: wish I had something to say. It's just it's different.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I got this thing. I'm like old taste.
- 29:15Speaker 3: And see.
- 29:19Speaker 2: On my first jokes when I was at Nights, I
- 29:21Speaker 2: was like, did you say grace before?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Because you say things for everything? Them folks was too bad.
- 29:31Speaker 4: And the Lord just be laughing because we got our
- 29:33Speaker 4: sense of humors were made in his image.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I know, he just be like these crazy I have
- 29:37Speaker 2: had the same thought. People like god it So I'm saying,
- 29:39Speaker 2: how do you know what do you think I'm killing
- 29:41Speaker 2: right now?
- 29:42Speaker 3: What you think?
- 29:45Speaker 4: Because the Lord is the biggest comedian you see the bulls?
- 29:47Speaker 1: Should he be doing?
- 29:47Speaker 2: He made alpus, You mean to tell me he was
- 29:50Speaker 2: being serious?
- 29:52Speaker 1: He didn't think that was funny.
- 29:54Speaker 3: He was like, what I mean to tell like this?
- 29:57Speaker 1: You cannot tell me he was being for real when
- 29:59Speaker 1: he for a wall rest like this?
- 30:03Speaker 7: But what if what if God didn't make a platypus?
- 30:06Speaker 7: What if he created two other animals like and they
- 30:08Speaker 7: gonna let's see what happened kiss? Yeah, you better say grace.
- 30:14Speaker 2: But he would have had to know being all and
- 30:17Speaker 2: he would have had to know that well.
- 30:19Speaker 4: He was around when he made them damn roaches. I'll
- 30:21Speaker 4: tell you that, oh my God.
- 30:23Speaker 5: And okay, that's where he got me back because he
- 30:27Speaker 5: knew collectively every it ain't a personalize that messed with
- 30:30Speaker 5: a road.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Do you understand me? You know at least you.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Said he gonna have big teeth.
- 30:36Speaker 2: For God for real?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Like he got bored. He was like, I can only
- 30:46Speaker 3: say nia, but not with God. I feel like he
- 30:48Speaker 3: was like gonna make the next real. They don't make him.
- 30:51Speaker 3: He's like, well, that not be funny zebras O.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Hell funny, they're not gonna know if he's white. Next
- 31:00Speaker 5: strike talking about to miss their hand.
- 31:06Speaker 2: He was not being that's he was having fun with.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Some of them thought he was serious. Okay, tiger.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Anytime you're like I swear.
- 31:16Speaker 5: To God, anybody turn around and so that's some funny ship.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I told you how you did, like you really turned thing.
- 31:27Speaker 2: God was petty and jealous and.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Angry about that's just a slow They know it too,
- 31:37Speaker 4: like this one.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Is gonna go so and pandas he was like this
- 31:42Speaker 2: is gonna be a bear, but like it tain't.
- 31:43Speaker 4: No means yeahs are not.
- 31:47Speaker 2: They're not killing. They be eating the bamboo and laying down.
- 31:51Speaker 2: That's all they do.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Kangaroos.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I'm going to box and knock your hands straight off
- 31:56Speaker 5: your shoulders.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And they got the quip Verston to know he'd be
- 31:59Speaker 2: making brother that are like yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Yeah, magpies.
- 32:04Speaker 5: You know the birds in Australia, people gotta wear helmets
- 32:06Speaker 5: because they just attack people.
- 32:08Speaker 4: You be on your that bird from cartoon, No, that's
- 32:12Speaker 4: that bird from Australia. That whoo.
- 32:13Speaker 5: People's why people just be walking around and helmets. They
- 32:15Speaker 5: will just take your Yes, and they'll take it. You
- 32:19Speaker 5: think they're for bike safety, know the Magpies gonna take
- 32:22Speaker 5: your head off your shoulder.
