- 0:30SPEAKER_01: For investment advice, consult a registered investment advisor or a certified financial planner.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: My two stocks of interest are Meta Platforms and HubSpot.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Now on HubSpot, I'm sorry, on Meta Platforms, it closed Friday at$616.77.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: That's Meta Platforms, simple as META.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: On August 27th, Rosenblatt gave it a buy rating and a price target of$886.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: On the same day, Truist gave it a buy rating and a$6763 price target.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Now, if you look at the chart, you can see it's made a two-year triangle consolidation.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: It had an MACD crossover in late August.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: If you look on the little right-hand chart, that's the Zoom chart.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: You can see it had a crossover, MACD crossover in late August and crossed back above its 50-day moving average of$595.49 on Thursday.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Now we think it's a bargain at this price.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: finvis.com shows current earnings of$26.55 per share with a fairly low PE ratio of only$23.23.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Next year's estimates are$33.87 per share and a low PE, forward PE of only$18.21.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: That's a real low number for a stock like this.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Insider selling appears life.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Now HubSpot is our next pick.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: That's symbol H U B S.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: It closed Friday at$247.60.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: On August 7th, BMO Capital downgraded the stock from outperform to market perform with a target price of$215.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Now if you look at the chart, you can see that it's way down from its February 2025 high of about$860.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Now it broke above a long trend line.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: See that long trend line on the top?
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: It broke above that in July at about$200 a share.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: It closed above its 50-day moving average at about$200 in early July and has held mostly above it since.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: And it had an MACD crossover on about August 20th.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Its current 50-day moving average is$223.37.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Now, FinViz.com shows current earnings of$2.83 per share with a PE ratio of 87.64.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: But they also show an estimate of next year's earnings of$16.73 a share and a forward PE of only$14.80.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: That's a big change, and that's a real low PE.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: There are only about 50 million shares outstanding and 3.86 million shares short, which is a short float of 8.05%.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Now be that as it may, we think it's a bargain at this price, and it looks like it's on the move.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: So thanks for listening.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Best regards and good luck.
