Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Mega Edition: The USVI And JP Morgan Trade Allegations During Their Court Battle (5/31/26)

- 0:00Speaker 1: Everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Even though
- 0:05Denise George is no longer the Attorney General down in
- 0:09the US Virgin Islands, well, their lawsuit is still alive
- 0:13and well, and in fact, they're lobbing some bombs at
- 0:17JP Morgan saying that Jamie Diamond knew about Jeffrey Epstein's
- 0:22sex trafficking and didn't do anything about it, in fact,
- 0:26basically turn the other cheek and just let it occur. Now,
- 0:32those are some big allegations against one of the titans
- 0:36of the financial sector. But one of the things that
- 0:40I have said from the very beginning of this whole, entire,
- 0:44sordid ordeal with Jeffrey Epstein is that it should have
- 0:48been a search into the financials. If they would have
- 0:52dug deep into the financial records of Jeffrey Epstein and
- 0:56all of his buddies, forget it, it would have been
- 0:59a rap. And they had all of the tools right
- 1:02there at their disposal to do so, and they chose
- 1:06not to. They had more rico predicates available to them.
- 1:10Then the Kardashians have ex boyfriends, but they chose not
- 1:15to go down that path. And if they did, all
- 1:18of these clowns would have been exposed. But you notice
- 1:22the only time any of them ever have to answer
- 1:25for anything is when it's in a civil court. And
- 1:28then what do they do. They buy their way out
- 1:31of it once again, rinse and repeat. That is the strategy.
- 1:35So I'm guessing that's what's gonna happen here. When all's
- 1:38said and done, JP Morgan will pay a fine to
- 1:41the US Virgin Islands. The US Virgin Islands, well, they'll
- 1:45collect another bag on top of the one they've already Pilford.
- 1:48And meanwhile, nobody from the US Virgin Islands who helped
- 1:53Jeffrey Epstein get all of these tax benefits, set up
- 1:56shop and all of the rest of it, well none
- 1:58of them have one to prison or faced any penalties. So,
- 2:04like usual, another cash grab. And it wasn't just Denise George,
- 2:08it's the whole US Virgin Islands. Sure she was orchestrating it.
- 2:12But they see blood in the water here and they're
- 2:14saying to themselves, we might as well continue down this
- 2:18path and pursue this and see what comes of it.
- 2:20We already got one hundred million. Meanwhile, how many countless
- 2:24women and children were abused by Jeffrey Epstein and never
- 2:28had any kind of publicity or restitution. And all of
- 2:32this money is going to the US Virgin Islands And
- 2:35where's it gonna go from there? Are you gonna try
- 2:38and pitch to me that they're gonna make the citizens
- 2:41of the US Virgin Islands lives better? Yeah, that's exactly
- 2:44what all of these politicians plan on doing. Give me
- 2:48a break already. But as far as Jamie Diamond, I'd
- 2:52be lying if I said I didn't want to see
- 2:54the dude squirm. As you all know, I'm not a
- 2:56big fan of the financial sector or the scusballs who
- 3:00inhabit it, and Jamie Diamond certainly fits the mold. So
- 3:05let's dive into this article from Law on Crime and
- 3:08let's see what Adam Klasfeld has for US headline. JP
- 3:13Morgan CEO Jamie Diamond knew about Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking
- 3:19Virgin Islands tells judge. So look, it's not an accuser
- 3:23saying that this time, it's the Virgin Island saying it
- 3:26in open court pretty significant. And if you're JP Morgan
- 3:32and you're Jamie Diamond and you already have all of
- 3:35the Jess Staley, nonsense hanging over your head. This is
- 3:38probably not the news that you're looking forward to hearing.
- 3:43Skewering JP Morgan's attempt to deflect blame on its former
- 3:48senior executive, Jess Staley. The Virgin Islands Government told the
- 3:52judge on Thursday that the bank's role in Jeffrey Epstein's
- 3:57sex trafficking went straight to the top. Now, that is
- 4:01quite the allegation, and you're going to obviously need the
- 4:04evidence to back that up in court because if you
- 4:08don't think that JP Morgan and Jamie Diamond aren't going
- 4:12to have the best lawyers that money can buy, well
- 4:15you're not paying attention. That's exactly what they're going to have,
- 4:19and that's exactly what they do have. So they're going
- 4:22to challenge every little thing. And if you're saying that
- 4:26it went right to the top, you're going to have
- 4:28to provide that proof, receipts, maybe somebody giving testimony, whatever
- 4:33it might be. Now what happens here, though, is it
- 4:37does open up the possibility, even though I find it
- 4:41to be a slight possibility at this point anyway, that
- 4:45Jamie Diamond perhaps has to be deposed and If that's
- 4:49the case, boy, that would be an enjoyable day to
- 4:53be a roach in the rushes to watch this dude's
- 4:56squirm as he's being deposed about sex trafficking and scumbag
- 5:01Epstein's behavior, talk about just desserts. If mister Staley is
- 5:08a rogue employee, why isn't Jamie Diamond the government's Private
- 5:12council Mimi Lou thundered interclosing arguments. In August two thousand
- 5:17and eight, an internal JP Morgan email discussed the flow
- 5:21of Epstein's assets with a reference depending Diamond review. That's
- 5:26Jamie Diamond, said Lou, an attorney at Motley Rice. And look,
- 5:31those are the kind of receipts that I'm talking about.
- 5:34And when you have at least some of those receipts,
- 5:37at the very least, you should be able to get
- 5:40a deposition. And if that's the case, then who knows
- 5:43what happens from there. All of these so called smartest
- 5:46people in the room don't seem that smart to me.
- 5:49So the chances are this knucklehead will end up perjuring
- 5:52himself if he did something illegal. After that message, she noted,
- 5:58Epstein remained a client for five more years. The remarks
- 6:02provide insight into why the Virgin Islands issued a subpoena
- 6:05to Diamond earlier this year and why Senior US Judge
- 6:10Jed Raykoff signed off on it. And for me, this
- 6:14is the most important part of this kind of civil action.
- 6:19When we get to the trial portion of it, where
- 6:21there is hearings and testimony, then we get a lot
- 6:25more information that we don't have right now, and obviously
- 6:28the more context we have, the better off we all are.
- 6:32JP Morgan, the world's largest bank by market capitalization, was
- 6:37Epstein's bank of choice between nineteen ninety eight and twenty
- 6:42and thirteen, well after Epstein's Florida prosecution for soliciting prostitution
- 6:49with a minor. That relationship has been under newfound spotlight
- 6:54after Epstein's survivors and the Virgin Islands sued JP Morgan
- 6:58Chase late last year, claiming that it facilitated, sustained, and
- 7:03concealed Epstein's abuse. Earlier this month, JP Morgan launched a
- 7:09counter offensive against their former senior executive, James Edward Jeff Staley,
- 7:15claiming he concealed his personal activities with Epstein so like usual,
- 7:21everybody's in a rush to throw everybody else under the bus,
- 7:26when in reality it was a systemic problem, and not
- 7:30just that JP Morgan. We're talking about Deutsche Bank and
- 7:34everywhere else. This disgusting animal, Jeffrey Epstein was doing business.
- 7:40The Virgin Islands, However, says that their knowledge of Staley's
- 7:43actions came from JP Morgan's internal files. These were JP
- 7:48Morgan documents. Lou said, everything we knew JP Morgan knew.
- 7:53During his time at JP Morgan, Staley cultivated deep personal
- 7:58and business ties with Jeff Epstein At a time when
- 8:01the executive let the bank's asset management and investment division.
- 8:06Staley exchanged upwards of one thousand, two hundred messages with Epstein.
- 8:13He sent one of those messages from Epstein's private island,
- 8:17Little Saint Jeff's, while his client was in a Florida prison.
- 8:21In their lawsuit, the Virgin Islands provided glimpses of those exchanges,
- 8:26called from the bank's internal files. Now, if they weren't close,
- 8:30like Staley likes to say, then what are you doing
- 8:33hanging out on his island? Well, old boy is in
- 8:36the clink. Does that sound like just a stranger type
- 8:40of activity. Oh yeah, I really don't know this guy,
- 8:42but I'm gonna go soak my boys in his hot
- 8:45tub while he rots away in a jail over child
- 8:50solicitation and basically child molestation. Does that sound like a
- 8:55good idea to anyone out here, never mind the dude
- 8:58who's supposed to be running the asset management division of
- 9:02the biggest bank and not just the United States but
- 9:06the whole last world. Does that sound like the behavior
- 9:09of somebody who should be in any position of power.
- 9:12Bros out here lounging at a diddler's house and then
- 9:16talking about Oh, I didn't have any idea what he
- 9:18was up to stop it. So when all hell breaks
- 9:22loose and the world is crumbling, I will come here
- 9:25and be at peace. Staley wrote to Epstein from the
- 9:29Virgin Islands on November first, two thousand and nine, during
- 9:33Epstein's incarceration. Presently, I'm in the hot tub with a
- 9:37glass of white wine. This is an amazing place, truly amazing.
- 9:42Next time we're here together. I owe you much, and
- 9:46I deeply appreciate our friendship. I have few so profound.
- 9:50But remember, he has no idea who Jeffrey Epstein is
- 9:53or what Epstein was up to or anything like that.
- 9:56That's what Jess Staley, what Jamie Diamond, what all of
- 9:59the these scoundrels will have you believe. But if you
- 10:03really just pay attention to the real facts and what's
- 10:06really going on on the ground, it's no mystery to
- 10:11understand that all of these people were super close to
- 10:15Jeffrey Epstein. All of them were very close to him.
- 10:18They all broke bread with them, They all went to
- 10:21his island, they went to his New York house. Let's
- 10:24not forget that they all went to Zoro Ranch as well.
- 10:27You get tickets. Now, we still don't have any kind
- 10:31of real investigation there. Not to digress too much and
- 10:35go off on a tangent, but look at the shit
- 10:37show that we see with Alec Baldwin. You mean to
- 10:40tell me that the people in charge in New Mexico
- 10:44are capable of dealing with a guy like Epstein or
- 10:47what he was up to. Come on, So, there certainly
- 10:50was a reason that he chose New Mexico in the
- 10:52first place. And all of these people that we talk about,
- 10:56for the most part, they were making trips out to
- 10:58New Mexico as well. That was only one of Staley's
- 11:04visits to Epstein's island, The Virgin Islands, alleges that they
- 11:08trace payments from Epstein's accounts at JP Morgan to women
- 11:13with Eastern European surnames timed near Staley's visits to be
- 11:18the sex offender's properties in London and Palm Beach. Everything
- 11:23that mister Staley did was in the scope of his
- 11:26employment and thus imputed to JP Morgan, lou argued. Earlier
- 11:31this week, attorneys for Epstein's survivors accused Staley of participating
- 11:38in Epstein's crimes. That hearing referenced unspecified allegations that one
- 11:43Jane Doe survivor made against Staley during a deposition. The
- 11:49deposition came up again on Thursday, as JP Morgan's lawyer
- 11:53John Buttz said, it's why the bank came down hard
- 11:57on Staley. What happened at that deposition fundamentally changed things,
- 12:02but said, oh, that's going to be their excuse. Oh well,
- 12:05we finally got our hands on that deposition, and that
- 12:08fundamentally changed things. We realized then that jess Daley was,
- 12:12you know, a lot closer to Epstein than we knew before,
- 12:16and that's the same tired ass nonsense that we've heard
- 12:19time and time again. And I don't know about all
- 12:22of you, but I've had my fill. The Virgin Islands
- 12:27lawsuit alleges that JP Morgan violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act,
- 12:33the first comprehensive federal law to address trafficking in persons,
- 12:38the Criminally Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the territory's analog
- 12:43of federal anti racketeering law, violating the Bank Secrecy Act,
- 12:48and consumer fraud. Judge Rakoff set down a brisk roadmap
- 12:53for a trial the survivor's lawsuit against Deutsche Bank, which
- 12:57did business with Epstein, after JP Morgan has been set
- 13:01for August eighth. JP Morgan Chase will face off against
- 13:05the Epstein survivors and the Virgin Islands government at trial
- 13:09on October twenty third. Ray Koff moved the latter trial
- 13:13date in light of JP Morgan's lawsuit against Staley. So,
- 13:18as you can see, things are continuing to heat up
- 13:21down in the Virgin Islands, and I hope that they
- 13:24continue to escalate and we continue to hear more about
- 13:28people like Jamie Diamond possibly having to sit for a deposition,
- 13:33because it's long beyond time that all of these people
- 13:37who were facilitating this nonsense financially were called out for
- 13:42the gigantic role that they played in this ongoing abuse
- 13:46that lasted literally decades. All Right, folks, that's gonna do
- 13:52it for this one. All of the information that goes
- 13:55with the episode can be found in the description box.
- 13:59What's a Everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 14:05In this episode, we're going to talk a little more
- 14:07about the JP Morgan lawsuit down in the United States
- 14:10Virgin Islands and how JP Morgan knew that Jeffrey Epstein
- 14:15purchased a fourteen year old girl and peter six hundred grand.
- 14:19Not only that he also had or housed in the
- 14:23building on sixty sixth Street down in Manhattan. And we
- 14:26all know what was going on in that building from
- 14:29countless people who lived through it. And it doesn't take
- 14:32a rocket scientist to figure out who they're talking about
- 14:36when they're talking about a fourteen year old girl who
- 14:39was sold to Jeffrey Epstein. We all know that that's
- 14:41Nadia Marsenkova, and we all know the tragedy of her
- 14:44tail and obviously JP Morgan knew as well. So today's
- 14:49article is from the inside edition and the headline lawsuit
- 14:53alleges JP Morgan knew Jeffrey Epstein reportedly bought and housed
- 14:57a fourteen year old girl, and he paid her six
- 15:00hundred grand. This article was authored by Chris Spargo. The complaint,
- 15:06filed in connection with a lawsuit against JP Morgan by
- 15:10the Attorney General of the US Virgin Islands alleges that
- 15:13at least twenty individuals paid through JP morgan accounts were
- 15:18victims of trafficking and sexual assault. Well that was the
- 15:22account that Epstein was using to piece people off their
- 15:25hush money after he was done abusing them, have them
- 15:28sign you know, maybe an NDA or whatever. But in
- 15:30most cases it was just a payoff and then Epstein
- 15:34would use that as his cover. Oh there were prostitutes.
- 15:37I paid them, so they were prostitutes. What are you
- 15:39talking about. I didn't traffic anybody. And the sad part
- 15:43is there's some people out there that actually bought that shit.
- 15:46News articles about Jeffrey Epstein purchasing a fourteen year old
- 15:50girl from Europe were allegedly included in JP Morgan's due
- 15:54diligence reports about the pedophile. According to an amended complaint
- 15:58filed in connection with a lawsuit against the bank by
- 16:01lawyers for the US Virgin Islands, the complaint alleges that
- 16:06executives at JP Morgan should have known that the girl
- 16:09lived in a property owned by the pedophile. It then
- 16:12further alleges that the largest bank in the country transferred
- 16:16over six hundred thousand dollars from accounts controlled by Epstein
- 16:20into the girl's own personal JP Morgan account. And the
- 16:23reason that her account was that JP Morgan as well
- 16:27is so that they could control what was going on
- 16:29completely end to end encryption, basically right from one end
- 16:33to the other, from our bank to our bank, just
- 16:36two different clients and will keep everything nice and uniformed.
- 16:41And for years they were able to get away with it.
- 16:43They were able to get away with all of these
- 16:45transfers to these different accounts that were being held by
- 16:48JP Morgan and overseen by Jess Staley. Like other women
- 16:53who received payments from Epstein, Jane Doe One listed Epstein's
- 16:57apartment on sixty sixth Street in New York City has
- 17:00her address, which should have been a red flag to
- 17:03JP Morgan reads the complaint obtained by Inside Edition Digital.
- 17:08Lawyers for the US Virgin Islands filed the civil lawsuit
- 17:11against JP Morgan last year, writing in their initial complaint
- 17:14that the company turned a blind eye to evidence of
- 17:17human trafficking over more than a decade because of Epstein's
- 17:21own financial footprint and because of the deals and clients
- 17:24that Epstein brought and promised to bring to the bank.
- 17:28The recently filed amended complaint says that despite news reports
- 17:32identifying this woman as a possible victim of sex trafficking,
- 17:37executives at JP Morgan allegedly referred to her in an
- 17:41internal document as Epstein's assistant or young lady he brought
- 17:46over from Prague or someplace like that. And when we're
- 17:50talking about this person, it's rather obvious who it is.
- 17:53I'm not going to state the name here because it
- 17:56looks like she's the one who is filing this suit,
- 18:00Jane Doe number one. However, we did have a ruling
- 18:03from Judge Raykoff saying that the identity of the accuser
- 18:06will be revealed to the lawyers of JP Morgan, so
- 18:10we'll just continue to call her Jane Doe. Number one
- 18:12until there's something in the public sphere saying differently. That
- 18:17same internal document allegedly describes charges in New York Palm
- 18:22Beach and Saint Thomas for lingerie and other sexually explicit material.
- 18:27According to the complaint, Elsewhere, JP Morgan describes media reports
- 18:32referring to the fact that Epstein purchased at age fourteen,
- 18:36says the complaint, she remained a customer of JP Morgan,
- 18:40and Epstein pat her more than six hundred thousand dollars
- 18:43from his account at JP Morgan, including more than one
- 18:46hundred and sixty five thousand dollars after Epstein's plea, And
- 18:50of course that's hush money, right. He has his plea deal,
- 18:54has the non prosecution agreement drawn up, which really shouldn't
- 18:58even include this person because they were a minor who
- 19:01has coerced into all of this for a long time.
- 19:04But after that, when he has his plea deal and
- 19:07he gets taken care of, he starts piecing people off
- 19:10a few bucks as hush money, and then in turn
- 19:13he can tell people, see, I paid them, they were
- 19:15prostitutes and that was all part of his whack ass
- 19:19bunk ass cover story. In court documents. JP Morgan says
- 19:24that it lacks knowledge or information sufficient to form a
- 19:27belief as to the truth of the allegations, and therefore
- 19:31denies the allegations, including that any knowledge of the alleged
- 19:35victim residing at an apartment owned by Epstein should have
- 19:38been a red flag. In response to the six hundred
- 19:42thousand dollars payment, a lawyer for JP Morgan states that
- 19:45the allegation characterizes the content of documents and respectfully refers
- 19:51to the court to those documents for a complete and
- 19:54accurate recitation of their contents. The complaint also alleged is
- 20:00that top executives at the company were aware that Epstein
- 20:03had been convicted of soliciting an underage girl. Concerns about
- 20:08the risks that Epstein posed were well known enough that
- 20:11numerous JP Morgan senior executives met in various groupings in
- 20:16July and October of two thousand and eight, January twenty eleven,
- 20:21August twenty and eleven, and July twenty and thirteen. The
- 20:25complaint claims, so they met all these times about Jeffrey Epstein,
- 20:29but nothing was ever done, and they had no idea
- 20:31who he was. That's what they want everybody to think,
- 20:34and that's the narrative that they're going to try and craft.
- 20:38The problem for them is, well, the problem for them
- 20:41is all of you, and how none of you are
- 20:44going to buy the bullshit that they're trying to sell you.
- 20:47That's what it really comes down to. Nobody's buying the
- 20:50narratives that have been carefully maintained and manicured by these
- 20:54people for all of these decades anymore. The kimplaint identifies
- 20:58several executives by name, but does not elaborate on what
- 21:01each individual allegedly knew or discussed in the meetings mentioned.
- 21:06Government of the US Virgin Islands versus JP Morgan the
- 21:10second amended complaint. The newly amended complaint further alleges that
- 21:15members of the firm facilitated or participated in directly or
- 21:20indirectly the trafficking enterprise Epstein helmed. The investigation revealed that
- 21:26JP Morgan knowingly, negligently and unlawfully provided and pulled the
- 21:31levers through which recruiters and victims were paid, and was
- 21:35indispensable to the operation and concealment of the Epstein trafficking enterprise.
- 21:41They're not wrong and There's a lot of other people
- 21:43who were involved as well, but unfortunately nobody wants to
- 21:47drop a rico on these fools and get a full
- 21:49accounting of what happened. Imagine if they did. Can you
- 21:52imagine what that day would look like down at the SDNY,
- 21:56all of these idiots being purp wocked in, wearing some handcuffs,
- 22:00some nice sparkly jewelry, and then unfortunately we'd have to
- 22:03wake up from our collective mushroom trip that we were on,
- 22:07because that's never going to happen in the real world.
- 22:11More specifically, the complaint alleges that Epstein paid large sums
- 22:15of money to a number of female victims and enablers
- 22:18through his JP Morgan accounts. That's all factual. The complaint
- 22:22alleges that at least twenty individuals paid through JP Morgan
- 22:26accounts were victims of trafficking and sexual assault in Little
- 22:30Saint James, New York, and or other Epstein properties. You
- 22:34notice they never talk about New Mexico. That's a big tell,
- 22:37right there, folks. The fact that they never talk about
- 22:40New Mexico means we should be talking about New Mexico
- 22:43because one hundred percent, without a doubt some vile shit
- 22:47happened in New Mexico on the property of that Zoro ranch.
- 22:52The complaint does not name any of these alleged victims
- 22:55or the alleged enablers who receive payments, with the exception
- 22:58of Glenn Maxwell, who the complaint claims received twenty three
- 23:02million dollars in the span of just four years from
- 23:05nineteen ninety nine and two thousand and two. Another woman
- 23:10identified only as a recruiter given immunity through Epstein's non
- 23:14prosecution agreement, received more than seven hundred and twenty eight
- 23:18thousand dollars from Epstein's JP Morgan accounts. According to the complaint,
- 23:22my guess is Sarah kell and Vickers. I can't prove that,
- 23:26but that sounds like a nice rounded amount that she'd
- 23:29be asking for for her bullshit as far as being
- 23:32part of Epstein's scheme. And everybody knows she's living that
- 23:35high life, isn't she, with her race car husband, million
- 23:39dollar condos and the rest of it. JP Morgan began
- 23:43doing business with Epstein as early as nineteen ninety eight,
- 23:46according to the complaint, managing approximately fifty five accounts for him,
- 23:51which were worth hundreds of millions of dollars. JP Morgan
- 23:55parted with Epstein in twenty thirteen, keeping him on as
- 23:58a client for five years after he pleaded guilty to
- 24:01soliciting a miner in the state of Florida. According to
- 24:04the complaint, Epstein was arrested in twenty nineteen on federal
- 24:09charges of sex trafficking miners in Florida and New York.
- 24:13He was found dead in a jail cell one month
- 24:16after his arrest. A medical examiner ruled his death a suicide. Yeah,
- 24:21we all have our doubts about that, don't we. JP
- 24:25Morgan facilitated and concealed wire and cash transactions that raised
- 24:29suspicion of and were in fact, part of a criminal
- 24:33enterprise whose currency was the sexual servitude of dozens of
- 24:37women and girls in and beyond the Virgin Islands. The
- 24:41lawsuit filed by the US Virgin Islands alleges human trafficking
- 24:46was the principal business of the accounts Epstein maintained at
- 24:50JP Morgan. JP Morgan did not respond to Inside Edition
- 24:54Digital's request for comment, but it has denied any wrongdoing,
- 24:59and in an answer to the lawsuit, the bank says
- 25:02it did not have any knowledge, constructive or otherwise that
- 25:06a person under the age of eighteen would be caused
- 25:09to engage in a commercial sex act. That filing also
- 25:13states that JP Morgan did not have knowledge, constructive or
- 25:17otherwise that means of force, threats of force, fraud, coercion,
- 25:22or any combination of such means would be used to
- 25:25cause any person to engage in a commercial sex act.
- 25:29So that's what they say. That's what JP Morgan says
- 25:33in their answer to this filing. But they're going to
- 25:35have to answer in court why all of these accounts
- 25:39were kept with JP Morgan and why all of these
- 25:42intra bank transfers weren't monitored, flagged and hit with stars.
- 25:47They're gonna have to answer for all of that, and
- 25:49if they can't, well it's not gonna go well for them.
- 25:52But we still have quite a bit of a way
- 25:53to go before we get even close to that point
- 25:56in this case. So we'll have to see what the
- 25:59new filings are that come in in the future, and
- 26:02we'll have to see how things continue to evolve as
- 26:06we approached the trial date in October. All right, folks,
- 26:10that's gonna do it for this one. All of the
- 26:12information that goes with the episode can be found in
- 26:15the description box cash fevers. What's up everyone, and Welcome
- 26:21back to the Epstein Chronicles. As the battle between JP
- 26:26Morgan and the US Virgin Islands continues to rage, JP
- 26:31Morgan is now blasting the US Virgin Islands and saying
- 26:34that they were complicit in helping Jeffrey Epstein facilitate his
- 26:39criminal enterprise. And guess what, JP Morgan is not wrong
- 26:43here as bad as the sins of the financial sector
- 26:46were and are. You had government officials down in the
- 26:51US Virgin Islands taking all kinds of money from Epstein,
- 26:54taken all kinds of favors from Epstein, and then after
- 26:57those favors are done, Epstein turns around and gets all
- 27:01kinds of tax breaks, all sorts of benefits, and the
- 27:04key he gets privacy because he knows that nobody's gonna
- 27:08check in on him. Nobody down there gives a shit,
- 27:11So why would anyone in a position of power have
- 27:14anything to say about what Epstein's doing, especially if he's
- 27:18buttering everybody's bread. So JP Morgan, they're calling the US
- 27:22Virgin Islands out on their bullshit, And honestly, I think
- 27:25it's a good idea. I've said it from the very beginning.
- 27:28If I was one of these girls who was assaulted
- 27:30by Epstein on this island, I would sue the US
- 27:33Virgin Islands for negligence as well. Didn't they get one
- 27:36hundred and twenty five million dollars already from the estate. Meanwhile,
- 27:40you have girls out here who were abused who didn't
- 27:43get one single dollar. And while the US Virgin Islands
- 27:46is pilfering this money and pillaging all these funds that
- 27:49should be going to girls who were abused, they're wrapping
- 27:53it in the flag of justice. Meanwhile, not one single
- 27:57criminal complaint has been filed in the US Virgin Islands.
- 28:02Today's article is from CNBC and the headline JP Morgan
- 28:07Chase blast US Virgin Islands as complicit in Jeffrey Epstein's
- 28:11sex trafficking. This article was authored by Dan Mangen. JP
- 28:18Morgan Chase, in a court filing on Tuesday, called the
- 28:21US Virgin Islands complicit in the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein,
- 28:25saying the sex predator gave high ranking officials their money,
- 28:29advice and favors in exchange for looking the other way
- 28:33when he trafficked young women to be abused on his
- 28:35island to get away. Pretty powerful accusations, right. The sad
- 28:40part is, these accusations are true, and it's all documented.
- 28:44We know about the relationships that Jeffrey Epstein had on
- 28:47this island. We know that he was donating money and
- 28:51spreading it around, and we also know because of these donations,
- 28:55because of him spreading around money, he was given preferential
- 28:59treatment on the island, including all sorts of tax breaks.
- 29:04And if the US Virgin Islands is so gung ho
- 29:07on getting money, why would they be giving people like Epstein,
- 29:10billionaires and millionaires tax breaks in the first place. For
- 29:14two decades and for long after JPMC exited Epstein as
- 29:18a client, the entity that most directly failed to protect
- 29:22public safety and most actively facilitated and benefited from Epstein's
- 29:28continued criminal activity was the plaintiff in this case, the
- 29:32USVII government itself. The bank said in the Manhattan Federal
- 29:37Court filing, you know two things can be true at once, right,
- 29:41and in this case, that's certainly what we're seeing. A
- 29:44The Bank facilitated Epstein, no doubt about it, zero doubts
- 29:48about the fact that the financial sector was holding Epstein's
- 29:52dick throughout this whole entire thing. And there's also no
- 29:55doubt that the US Virgin Islands also failed these girls.
- 30:00And now they're over here with their hands in the
- 30:02cookie jar hoping to extract some more suits. I mean,
- 30:06one hundred and twenty five million wasn't enough. Let's just
- 30:09keep going and let's take every last dollar that's in
- 30:13that estate so that we can do what with it.
- 30:16Give it to the government of the USVII so they
- 30:19can waste it on bullshit. Meanwhile, like I said, how
- 30:22many girls that are nameless, that never came out in public,
- 30:26that have never talked about what happened aren't going to
- 30:29get one single dollar in restitution for what they went through.
- 30:33That number is literally in the hundreds. Rather than stop him,
- 30:37they helped them, JP Morgan said, citing millions of dollars
- 30:41in tax incentives and other benefits the territory gave Epstein.
- 30:45That claim comes as JP Morgan defends itself against a
- 30:49civil lawsuit by the Virgin Islands, which alleges that the
- 30:52bank knowingly enabled Epstein sex trafficking and benefited from it
- 30:57when he was a customer from nineteen ninety eight through
- 31:00twenty thirteen, they all benefited from it. And now that
- 31:05it's time to answer before the man, well, it's everybody
- 31:09else's fault, and everybody else was the one who was
- 31:13a key component for what Epstein had going on. But
- 31:16the reality is all of these people were key components
- 31:20and none of this could have taken place if people
- 31:23like this didn't play ball. But the fact is people
- 31:26are greedy. The fact is government officials and bureaucrats are corrupt,
- 31:31and the fact is people like Jeffrey Epstein know that
- 31:34and utilize it to their benefit. A spokesman for the
- 31:38Virgin Islands Attorney General's Office told CNBC on Tuesday, JP
- 31:42Morgan Chase facilitated Jeffrey Epstein's abuse and should be held
- 31:46accountable for violating the law. They should be, and so
- 31:49should you. But here's the thing. You're not holding anyone accountable.
- 31:54You're holding people financially accountable. But how many of these
- 31:58people are going to jail? How many criminal cases has
- 32:02the USVII brought against any of these people? Oh, I
- 32:05can tell you the answer is zero. So all of
- 32:08the grand standing and the whoing and the hawing about justice.
- 32:12It's all bs. It's just nothing more than a vehicle
- 32:16for them to use to further their own ambitions of
- 32:19getting a few more bucks. This is an obvious attempt
- 32:23to shift blame away from JP Morgan Chase, which had
- 32:27a legal responsibility to report the evidence in its possession
- 32:30of Epstein's human trafficking and failed to do so. The
- 32:34spokesman said, you know what's so crazy about that that
- 32:37all the way up until Jeffrey Epstein's arrest, he was
- 32:40bringing girls into the Virgin Islands. How do we know that? Well,
- 32:44people who worked at the airport talked about it. They
- 32:46were very candid about what Epstein was up to and
- 32:49the fact that little girls were getting off those planes.
- 32:52So where were all the customs agents down in the
- 32:55US Virgin Islands? Where was the police force? Where was
- 32:58the special Task Force to deal with human trafficking? Oh,
- 33:02that's right, there were nowhere to be found. And they're
- 33:04the ones who have subpoena power. They're the ones who
- 33:06can arrescue. So all of the claims about anyone else
- 33:10stepping up and stopping Jeffrey Epstein, that's a bunch of bullshit.
- 33:14In my opinion. The Bank's filing on Tuesday asked Judge
- 33:18Jed Raykoff to deny a motion by the US Virgin
- 33:21Islands that would preclude JP Morgan from raising certain so
- 33:25called affirmative defenses to the lawsuit. Usvii's motion seeks to
- 33:31strike only those specific defenses that threatened to expose its
- 33:35relationship with Epstein. The filing said, Look, they're not wrong here,
- 33:39and I'll tell you what the USVII is playing with fire.
- 33:43If I was one of these survivors, I'd be starting
- 33:45a lawsuit against the US Virgin Islands to get restitution,
- 33:49especially if I got abused there. So you mean to
- 33:52tell me I get abused on your island under your watch,
- 33:55but somehow you pocket one hundred and twenty five million
- 33:58and I get ungatz. Yeah, Okay, that's gonna go over well.
- 34:02In a footnote, the filing said the Virgin Islands had
- 34:05three governors over the past sixteen years, John DeJong, Kenneth Mapp,
- 34:11and current Governor Albert Bryan Jr. As detailed here in
- 34:15Epstein had close ties to each of them. That footnote said,
- 34:19and that does not a lie either. All of those
- 34:21people had ties to Epstein money connections the whole thing,
- 34:26and all of these local bureaucrats that are now showing
- 34:29up to the party talking about justice needs to be
- 34:32served after they've been filling their pockets with Epstein's plunder.
- 34:36Are some of the biggest goofballs going and they should
- 34:39be exposed for their bullshit. Earlier Tuesday, another court filing
- 34:43for the first time revealed that Brian is scheduled to
- 34:46be deposed June sixth for the lawsuit. A source familiar
- 34:50with the situation told CNBC that JP Morgan requested the
- 34:55deposition of Brian, who has been governor since twenty nineteen. Well,
- 35:00this is a trap from mister Bryan, no doubt about it,
- 35:03and he better be very, very careful he doesn't talk
- 35:05himself straight into a perjury charge. JP Morgan, CEO of
- 35:10Jamie Diamond, is scheduled to be deposed in the suit Friday.
- 35:14In New York, Raykoff last week authorized the Virgin Islands
- 35:18to serve as subpoena for Tesla's CEO Elon Musk on
- 35:22his electric car company, seeking documents that Musk may have
- 35:25showing any communications involving him, Epstein and JP Morgan that
- 35:31subpoena is based on suspicion by the Territory that Epstein
- 35:35may have referred Musk or tried to refer him to
- 35:38the bank as a client. Epstein, a former friend of
- 35:41Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, maintained a home on a
- 35:44private island in the territory where he sexually abused many
- 35:48young women over the years. He used money from his
- 35:52JP Morgan accounts to pay women and fly them there.
- 35:55In its filing Tuesday, JP Morgan noted that when Epstein
- 35:59was released from a Florida jail after pleading guilty to
- 36:03procuring a minor for sex, he tried to arrange for
- 36:06his parole to be transferred from the state to the
- 36:10Virgin Islands, where he registered as a sex offender. He
- 36:14also maintained his primary residence in the territory, which put
- 36:17him under USVII law enforcements, direct jurisdiction and supervision. The
- 36:23filing said, remember, as bad as JP Morgan is, and
- 36:27they're bad as hell. They didn't have the power to
- 36:30arrest Jeffrey Epstein. They didn't have the power to seize
- 36:33his bank account. They didn't have the power to step
- 36:36in and drop some rico indictments on them, But the
- 36:39US Virgin Islands did. Why didn't they do that? Why
- 36:42didn't they step up and stop Jeffrey Epstein from doing
- 36:46what he was doing. That's really the only question that
- 36:49should be asked. I don't care about all of the
- 36:51other bullshit. I don't care about them whitewashing it, and
- 36:54I don't care about them trying to make excuses. The
- 36:56fact is they helped Epstein, they furthered his crew middle enterprise,
- 37:01and not only that, they profited from it. So now,
- 37:04not only did they profit from the crimes, they're going
- 37:07to profit when it's time for restitution, even though they
- 37:11never held anyone responsible. So how in the hell is
- 37:15the US Virgin Islands entitled to any money here whatsoever?
- 37:18Can somebody please explain that to me. The bank alleges
- 37:22there was a decades long quid pro quo between Epstein
- 37:25and the USVII government that took three forms. Yes yes, yes. First,
- 37:32high ranking USVII officials spent years courting and gladly accepting
- 37:37Epstein's influence in the forms of gifts, favors, and political donations,
- 37:42the filing said. Second, in exchange, USVII granted Epstein preferential
- 37:48treatment in the form of more than redacted amount million
- 37:52in tax incentives, among other benefits. Third, and most troubling,
- 37:57USVII protected Epstein Foster, the perfect conditions for Epstein's criminal
- 38:02conduct to continue undetected. The problem is it wasn't undetected.
- 38:07You knew about it too, JP Morgan. Don't act like
- 38:10you had no idea. You're both culpable. So it's like
- 38:13watching the Taliban and al Qaeda argue about who's right here. Basically, specifically,
- 38:19the filing says, Epstein supported the candidacy of Stacy Plaskett,
- 38:23the Virgin Islands delegate to the US House of Representatives,
- 38:27after she worked for the USVII Economic Development Authority, which
- 38:31awarded Epstein massive tax benefits. Plaskett also worked at a
- 38:36law firm that represented him in business affairs. The filing says,
- 38:41and keep in mind, Stacy Plaskett, she had a very
- 38:44prominent position during the January sixth committee. Right, So how
- 38:48is it that a lady like this, who had such
- 38:50ties to Epstein is getting such a prominent position. Well,
- 38:54I'll tell you why. Because nobody in the Congress or
- 38:57the Senate gives one single fuck about what app Epstein
- 39:00did not unless they can use it politically to hit
- 39:03one of their enemies over the head with Besides that,
- 39:06the people who were affected, the fact that they were
- 39:09laundering money, the fact that the most powerful people in
- 39:12our society were hanging out with this dude, none of
- 39:14that matters. Epstein and his employees donated more than thirty
- 39:18thousand dollars to Plaskets congressional races, according to the Bank.
- 39:23So no Julie K. Brown article, no hard charging journalist
- 39:27wants to dive into Stacey Plaskett and her relationship with Epstein.
- 39:31Oh I wonder why could that have something to do
- 39:35with Once again circling back to the comment made by
- 39:38Nancy Pelosi's daughter, some of our faves are going to
- 39:41get caught up in this. I feel like the same
- 39:44kind of dive that was done on Acosta should be
- 39:47done here. And if the legacy media was serious about
- 39:50their shit, they'd be doing it. But they're not. They're
- 39:53more interested in dividing you with carefully curated and crafted
- 39:58wedge issues. The filing said that Epstein's primary conduit for
- 40:03spreading the money and influence through Virgin Island's government was
- 40:07then First Lady cecialed d Jong, the wife of former
- 40:11Governor de Jong, who served from two thousand and seven
- 40:14through twenty fifteen. And despite her public role and official duties,
- 40:19First Lady de Jong managed Epstein's USVII based companies, receiving
- 40:24from Epstein a salary, bonuses, and other benefits. The filing said, now,
- 40:30remember this is the first lady of the island. Okay,
- 40:34her dude was the governor, the man, the top dog
- 40:37on the island, and she was packing her purse full
- 40:41of Epstein's money. And the USVII wants to talk about
- 40:45other people being complicit. Take a look in the mirror.
- 40:50Much of the details of the claims related to Cecial
- 40:53DeJong are redacted in the filing, but in one section,
- 40:56the bank says that in addition to working for his companies,
- 41:00she extensively lobbied on his behalf with government officials, including
- 41:04the governor. Yeah, there's no conflict of interest there. Everything's
- 41:08on the up and up. In another heavily redacted section,
- 41:12the filing says the Virgin Islands aided Epstein's criminal activity.
- 41:16The specific allegations as to how the government did that
- 41:20is blacked out. Well by letting them operate, taking money
- 41:23to look the other way. We all know how this
- 41:26scam works, and it's been going on forever. You go
- 41:29to an impoverished nation or a nation that's having some
- 41:32issues financially, you bring a bunch of money and you
- 41:35start spreading that money around to the local officials, and
- 41:38before you know it, everybody wants to play ball. And
- 41:41now you have a bunch of government officials on the
- 41:43payroll who are corrupt, and you can do whatever you want.
- 41:47And that's basically what Epstein had going on down here.
- 41:50In another heavily redacted section, the filing says the Virgin
- 41:54Islands aided Epstein's criminal activity. The specific allegations as to
- 41:58how the government did that is blacked out, almost completely redacted.
- 42:03Is a section of the filing entitled, Epstein exerted influence
- 42:07over USVI sex offender legislation and received lax monitoring. And
- 42:15unfortunately that was the story. Wherever Epstein was right lax monitoring,
- 42:19he caught a deal. Everybody hooked them up. You had
- 42:22Syvance's office, the Prosecutor's office in New York arguing that
- 42:26Jeffrey Epstein shouldn't be classified as a dangerous pedophile. So
- 42:31that just tells you everything you need to know about
- 42:33the connections this idiot had. In one redacted section, the
- 42:37bank's lawyers wrote, while the USVII did conduct site visits
- 42:42of Epstein's residences, those inspections were cursory at best. Despite
- 42:47the direct infusions of lucrative tax incentives redacted and lax enforcement,
- 42:53Epstein still could not freely transport and exploit young women
- 42:58without assistance from the US government officials. Look, these are
- 43:03very very serious allegations, but allegations that I think have legs.
- 43:08There's no way Epstein could do this without the help
- 43:11of these corrupt officials on the island point blank period.
- 43:16In exchange for Epstein's cash and gifts, USVII made life
- 43:19easy for him. The filing said. The government mitigated any
- 43:23burdens from his sex offender status, and it made sure
- 43:27that no one asked too many questions about his transport
- 43:30and keeping of young girls on his island. The lawsuit
- 43:34against JP Morgan was filed in late December by then
- 43:38Virgin Island's Attorney General Denise George, who a month earlier
- 43:42had obtained a one hundred and five million dollar settlement
- 43:45from Epstein's estate. It is absurd, it's obscene, and they
- 43:49should be forced to pay all that money back, but
- 43:52pay it to these survivors, and not only pay that
- 43:54money back, but compounded with interest as well, because they
- 43:58basically stole from girl that were abused by Epstein. You
- 44:02really think the USVII had damages done to it. They
- 44:05were the ones helping this dude out. So I don't
- 44:08want to hear shit from them. And I've been saying
- 44:09this for how long now. I'm shocked that took this
- 44:12long for JP Morgan and their lawyers to jump on
- 44:16board and start pointing the finger at the US Virgin
- 44:20Islands because these dudes are culpable and they're certainly complicit.
- 44:25Days after she filed that suit, Brian fired George, who
- 44:29had been attorney general for four years. The governor fired
- 44:33George reportedly because she failed to alert him that she
- 44:36planned to sue JP Morgan, which is the largest bank
- 44:39in the United States. Despite George's firing, the Virgin Islands
- 44:43has continued to aggressively pursue its litigation against the bank.
- 44:48On Tuesday, there was another in a series of private
- 44:51telephone conferences with Raykoff over the case. A public docket
- 44:56entry summarized the outcome of that conference, which includ rooted
- 45:00lawyers for the Virgin Islands, JP Morgan, former JP Morgan executives,
- 45:05Jess Staley, and an Epstein accuser who has a separate,
- 45:09similar lawsuit pending against the bank. JP Morgan is trying
- 45:13to shift any legal liability it may have in the
- 45:16suit to Staley, who was a point of contact for
- 45:19Epstein at the bank. And that's bullshit as well, JP Morgan.
- 45:23They have to suffer Jess Staley. He has to pay
- 45:26the price, and so should the US Virgin Islands. But
- 45:29instead all the USVII has done here is profit. The
- 45:34deposition of Albert Bryant Junior is ordered to proceed on
- 45:37June sixth, the docket entry says. The entry also says
- 45:42that all parties other than JP Morgan are ordered to
- 45:45contact former officers and directors of JP Morgan only through council.
- 45:51CNBC requested comment from lawyers for the Virgin Islands and
- 45:54from JP Morgan about the conference. On Tuesday. Epstein, sixty
- 45:59six died by suicide, apparently in a Manhattan jail. In
- 46:03August of twenty nineteen, a month after he was arrested
- 46:07and charged in Manhattan federal court with child sex trafficking.
- 46:11Epstein pleaded guilty in two thousand and eight to a
- 46:14Florida state charge of soliciting sex from an underage girl
- 46:18and was sentenced to thirteen months in jail. His prior
- 46:21criminal case and Stinton jail, which were known to J. P.
- 46:24Morgan at the time, came in the middle of his
- 46:26tenure as a customer of the bank, where he maintained
- 46:29accounts from nineteen ninety eight until the bank severed its
- 46:33relationship with him in twenty and thirteen. Epstein became a
- 46:37customer of Deutsche Bank after that. Deutsche Bank last week
- 46:41agreed to settle a Manhattan federal court lawsuit filed by
- 46:45another Epstein accuser, who alleged that bank enabled and benefited
- 46:49from his sex trafficking. Deutsche Bank will pay Epstein victims
- 46:53seventy five million in that deal. Now, seventy five million dollars.
- 46:57That's a lot of money, isn't it. Well, how is
- 47:00it that the US Virgin Islands gets more than that?
- 47:03Nobody can explain that to me. Deutsche Bank in twenty
- 47:08twenty agreed to pay one hundred and fifty million dollar
- 47:10fine to New York's financial regulators for its dealings with
- 47:14Epstein and other issues. We acknowledge our error onboarding Epstein
- 47:19in twenty thirteen and the weaknesses in our processes, and
- 47:22have learned from our mistakes and our shortcomings. Bank spokesman
- 47:27Dylan Riddle said last week, Yeah, okay, sure, I'm sure
- 47:30you guys learned a real hard lesson considering nobody ever
- 47:34went to jail and not one dollar came out of
- 47:36your own pocket. But the whole USVII thing from the
- 47:39jump has been laughable to me. As you all know,
- 47:42it's well documented. How many episodes do I have in
- 47:45the catalog where I'm going on and on and on
- 47:48about the greed shown by the US Virgin Islands And
- 47:51it's not in the pursuit of justice. They've wrapped it
- 47:54in that flag, but it's not in the pursuit of justice.
- 47:57It's in the pursuit of greed. Mass is justice, and
- 48:00it's about time somebody called them out on it, all right, folks,
- 48:04that's gonna do it for this one. All of the
- 48:06information that goes with the episode can be found in
- 48:09the description box dude, you have a
